Speaker 5 (01:09):
Yes, isn't that what he's saying.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I think it's uh.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
I think it's se r Io Cereal, but they say
Sadio the way they.

ti rack dot com. Welp you get there, an unmatched selection,
fast free shipping, free road has a protection and over

(01:56):
ten thousand recommended installers. Tire rack dot Com the way
buying should be. He is uh is Lee Okay, I'm
glad you went there because it does feel like we
should address that situation for a should we not?

Speaker 6 (02:11):
Or I mean I was just hoping he was okay, man,
I mean sometimes by the rundown, the looks of the rundown,
it's the conversation skill a little all.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Can can we actually give him like a summary of
his week thus far?

Speaker 5 (02:32):
It's been a week.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
It's been a week for him.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
So for those of you that have missed out.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
On Sunday, Lee's car was broken into by a couple
of homeless guys who decided to ransack the thing.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
They took his bag, they took some change, the soup
kitchen in the back.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Yeah, and and uh and Lee chased one of them down, made.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Him empty, almost almost almost.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Beat his ass, made him empty out their pockets out
in front of a Valvelene station at about ten o'clock
in the morning on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
And of course the one he chased down was the
one who.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Had like a dollar eighteen and change, not the guy
who had his nomadic bag, his passport, his flasks and
all the other valuable stuff he had with him. So
that happened, and then you know, we kind of goofing
about it and joking about it, and then yesterday we
got word that Lee would not be a part of
this show because Lee's car just went and decided to die.

(03:34):
But it was interesting because this happened shortly after he
had sent a picture of a grab bag of goodies
he got from the liquor store, which included two mini
bottles of booze, a booze ball, and like a pack
of mic and ikes for seven ninety nine. And then
his car ended up dying, so he had no ride in,

(03:56):
he had no way to get here and no other option.
Kind of went into panic mode and thus he is
not here, so.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
You didn't pick him up. You didn't offer to pick him.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I'm not hanging out with a bunch of bums at
two a m.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
I think I want to go, like kick some tents
and go hey Lee in there and try and like
pull him out and bring him away.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
Work hold. Oh he could use an uber.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
I mean I would have upered him in. I thought
he was taking the day off because he needed to
get some things arranged.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I don't know, man, I mean, the.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Only thing I saw was a bag of booze that
was out that he took out of his car after
getting a toe right, which I guess what was his
most valuable possessions.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
By the way, I'm pretty sure he's got golf clubs
in the back because I saw him.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Yeah, he left those, but those were not next to him.
He had was that bag of booze, Yeah, which was
the variety pack. It was everything from beer to malt liquor.
It's a hard alcohol. I think I saw like a
small like shot of something in there.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Yeah, and you could tell they're from a liquor store
because it's that black plastic bag that you only get
at a liquor.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
Store buzzball, called a buzzball.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
A buzzball, I didn't know, but you rip them and
they got all sorts of booze inside of him.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
I had never heard of that.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Of it.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Oh, it's like one of those things to where people
tell you, hey, if there's a fire, you know, take
your most prized possession.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
So people grab picture albums and things.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
Had mixers on the sidewalk, he had monsters on the liquor.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Lee left the golf clubs, his dartboard, pair of underwear,
whatever else was inside the car, but made sure to
grab his his goodies of booze that he got at
the liquor store two hours earlier, so that was his Thursday.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
He has been a true superstar this week of radio.
That's what I would say. He has truly, truly built
up his brand this week. I'm impressed. I mean, most kids,
most most young men, most young women, most young people,
Mike crack under this type of pressure.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Not Lee.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
I mean, I mean, maybe he did. Maybe today was
the day. I don't know, but maybe he did crack.
Maybe he did crack.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
The So I talked to him last night or late
last evening or early in the evening whenever he's up
right now. I mean, he told me, and this is
the best part about all this, after it was announced
he would not be with us and we would need
to find uh Bree who's going to step in and
do a fine job with us here for the first time,
and she's awesome. But he told me, hey, listen, if

(06:40):
you guys need anything, I'm here. And I'm thinking, well,
let's call him. And I'm thinking myself, well, no, you're not.
That's a nice thought, but you're not.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Let's let's call him. Let's call him. Let's see how
he's doing.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Man. I mean, I know, you don't check your text
change during the show. He is responding back.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
To let's check.

Speaker 6 (07:02):
Let's check him out on a second, let's see what's
going on.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Oh, he is a.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
What's the change right now?

Speaker 2 (07:12):
He says, I'm up being just in case you need me.
That's why he's up right now.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
It's got nothing to do with the fact that he's
got like a half bottle of tequila in front of him.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Like, he's up because he's committed.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
To the show. All right, So we're gonna try and
see if we can get Lee on the air.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Let's try to call him.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
Let's talk through this.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
And by the way, for the record, it goes down
in history the first guest you ever booked on this
show was drunken Lee eight minutes in. Okay, so we
got him here?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
All right?

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Lee?

Speaker 7 (07:44):
There, hello, everybody?

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Where are you.

Speaker 7 (07:54):
Waking up to? All my alarms?

Speaker 3 (07:57):
Where are you waking up?

Speaker 7 (08:00):
Okay, guys, honest, Oh I just stepped.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
On a nail.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
Oh no, oh no, Lee? Where are you at?

Speaker 2 (08:09):
What are you at home? Depot?

Speaker 7 (08:11):
Yeah? Yeah, I'm in my backyard.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
You're in your backyard?

Speaker 7 (08:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (08:17):
What are you doing? What are you doing in your backyard?

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Were you sleeping?

Speaker 7 (08:21):
I'm drinking a beer is what I'm doing.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
I'm listening to you. Guys. We missed your buddy. We
wish you were working with us today.

Speaker 7 (08:29):
Yeah, I wish I was there too. Okay, I'm stuck here.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
It's taught with you.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
He was when I passed out.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Okay, now now, now at what point? What point did
you pass out? And what let what led to you
passing out? How much was taking in throughout the course
of the night to lead you to pass.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
I appreciate the speaker phone to check my saia I
was sexting. Excuse me, Cooper loop.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Yeah, it's just a Cooper.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
Yeah, just a Cooper. My fault.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Did you just give out a social Security number while
you're at it?

Speaker 7 (09:11):
He apparently I passed out? At what time I passed
out at?

Speaker 6 (09:17):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (09:18):
Wow, i'm reading text. I don't remember.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Oh, I don't know it was. It's the L A. P. D.
We've got your bag, sir.

Speaker 7 (09:28):
Uh around nine o'clock last night, nine o'clock.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
That's not so bad?

Speaker 2 (09:34):
And so have you had any water since you woke
it up? Bridge? You go straight to beer.

Speaker 7 (09:40):
I'm finishing my what I call my uh my side,
my side panel soda and.

Speaker 5 (09:46):
What would that be side panel in the door in
the car that you don't have right now?

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Right?

Speaker 7 (09:51):
You call it a freshyet or a table. This is
a sixteen ounce table.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Is a lache, so it's not water, it's a beer
just your Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Well, Miller lte technically is supposed to be a nicholasche.
We've talked about.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
This, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Yeah, mostly made famous between Jessica Simpson's boobs and Nickolache
and that reality show they had, because that was the
real reason why you watched.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Yeah yeah, and also the fact that you could just
watch two people that had zero in common. He wanted
to watch sports and she just wanted to cause problems
and he just had to deal with it.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
I think she wanted to get after as what I think.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Yeah, Lee, are you.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
In the backyard beer foot right now?

Speaker 7 (10:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (10:40):
Why do you not have shoes on out back?

Speaker 7 (10:45):
I'm at home and I don't put shoes on. Gorilla
glues nice blue.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
What what are you doing, dude?

Speaker 7 (10:55):
I just found some camouflage gorilla glue tape, which I
need for my Oh you know what, my car died,
so I don't need this anymore.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
You don't need it for.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Your Remember your car died yesterday. Buddy, you took out
all your all your belongings, which was basically alcohol.

Speaker 7 (11:10):
Yeah, I need to go. I need to go and
get my golf clubs out of my car tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Why would you why why would you have left the
golf clubs or anything else in the car, and knowing
the week you've had and people taking things out of your.

Speaker 7 (11:22):
Car, I was there's a lot going on in my life, Jovis.
I appreciate the sense of it.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
You're right.

Speaker 7 (11:29):
I wanted to take them, but it was one hundred
degrees yesterday and I was deciding whether or not to
carry said golf clubs to the bar from Ah.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
That makes sense. So now now I understand the bag
of booze that makes that makes so much sense.

Speaker 5 (11:45):
Yeah, all right, But here's here's another question.

Speaker 6 (11:48):
I got to ask you, Lee, how are you getting
to your car to get your golf clubs? And how
are you getting back to where you're going with the
golf clubs that you get from your car?

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (12:00):
A good question.

Speaker 7 (12:01):
The reason I'm not able to okay, many pronged questions.
I'm not going to be able to do it till monday. Okay,
I Luckily I know my mechanic and he's gonna stay
not scrap my car until Monday till I get there
and salvage everything. And yeah, okay, I'll have somebody drive

(12:23):
me to go get it.

Speaker 5 (12:24):
You'll find a ride then.

Speaker 7 (12:27):
Yeah, I don't have it right now. Otherwise I would
be there with you guys.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
Why did you not ask Jonas for that?

Speaker 3 (12:34):
I would have ubered you, man, I got you.

Speaker 5 (12:36):
You know I would have ubered you. I want us to.

Speaker 7 (12:39):
Uber you now, full disclosure. I knew I was not
going to be in a mood. I knew I was
walking to the bar.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
You know, I want to get I really want to work,
but I also need a drink, you know.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
I mean, at least you're honest.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
Yeah, Lee, don't let people get you know, you know
who you are, you know what you need. Oh you're
a high perform in my buddy, So you just keep
on keeping on all right?

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Hey Lee?

Speaker 7 (13:13):
Before let's this mess is what I'm staring at right now?

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Hey Lee, before we let you go, Before we let
you go, what was the the damage last night? How
much you how much did you put back before you
passed out at nine o'clock?

Speaker 7 (13:27):
Well, I walked across the street. Because I knew you
where my car broke down. I knew there was a
good pool hall across the street, so I walked through
the pool hall.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
It was still happy hour.

Speaker 7 (13:38):
The times I put down, I don't know, a couple
of Wells, couple, a couple of Wells. Todd's girlfriend.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
He put Tod's girlfriend down.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Her name's well.

Speaker 7 (13:55):
She picked this up in the super route. We went
over to Uh, we went over to Chance. I got
myself a good La street dog with the wings to go,
not to mention a few uh Chico's and City Cos
and straight tequila.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
You're going to ruin a bathroom in a little bit,
Oh my god.

Speaker 7 (14:18):
Then we went over. Then we made our way to
the good night. Of course, obviously, of course, obviously, even
though I even though I was begging to be dropped
off at home, but like, no, we're going to the
good night.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Okay, fine, even though you were driving.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Did you part taken any songs last night?

Speaker 7 (14:39):
That's a good question. Uh, I not one hundred percent sure.

Speaker 6 (14:44):
I mean, let me tell you something, are you Are
you aware of everything that you took part in last
this last evening.

Speaker 7 (14:56):
I'm just happy I'm home or I'm just happy I'm here.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Okay, we're happy you're home to buddy. All right?

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Well Lee, uh you know.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
Just now, why do you have a nail in your backyard?

Speaker 4 (15:07):

Speaker 7 (15:09):
My deck is falling apart my backyard. Yeah, literally stepping
through decks.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
All right.

Speaker 6 (15:19):
Well look Lee, so good luck taking it from your
backyard to your career.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
So there's there's Lee.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
You should think about getting tennis seriousness, especially it's a
rusted nail, Like I would, I would contemplate that after
you clean it up, so I would. I would.

Speaker 7 (15:38):
I would pour some beer on it, but it's my
last beer.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
There's there's Lee. Lee live from downtown Sariego, just reporting.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
In and letting us know what the damage is.

Speaker 7 (15:47):

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Enjoy it.

again soon. So there he is the great lead.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
To lab all right, national treasure.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
He is a national treasure here.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
I don't think I could love someone more for just
who they genuinely are than lead the lap.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah. And by the way, for people wondering if like
this is a bit or it's not like this is
not a bit, that's the best part. It's like this
is who he is like, and he's the best.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
That's our guy, man, that's our guy. He's the best.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Now, by the way, I did want to mention to
you guys, because this is important to point out here
obviously with everything going on with Lee.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
You know what you're about to say it is.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
I just needed to get this out.

Speaker 5 (16:31):
Get it off your chest. Man.

Speaker 2 (16:33):

(20:39):
coming up here. The Patriots lose last night, but there's
a lot of optimism because Drake May and what people
saw of Drake May looked okay, all right, a couple
of scoring drives, appears to be a little bit more comfortable.
I think the last time we saw him on the

(20:59):
field for the Patriots, it was like a rain game.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
There was a bunch of other elements that.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
Were you know, big factors there, but at least he
looked somewhat more like the part of a top three
pick that the Patriots envisioned him being when they drafted
him back in April.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
He uh. I think one of the things he demonstrated
was like, oh, and this is really what you want
to see from a rookie. Is everything you liked about
him in college, You want to see it resurface in
the pros. You want to know that, Okay, those things
are there. The things that you know, our weaknesses are
things we need to work on, will work. You know,
we we can work away from that for a period

(21:35):
of time, but we could work on those things to
improve them. But his deep ball, he does a great
deep ball. There's actually one ball it should have been
caught by Javon Baker, but that was on display. His athleticism.
You saw the quarterback zone read down around the you know,
five ten yard line somewhere in there. He kept that
in for one of the first scores. All those things

(21:57):
are things that he'll bring to the offense at LeVar
as you know, like that evens up the numbers count,
that puts more pressure on you guys. Those are things
that with a roster that I would say lacks a
lot of talent star power could help level the playing
field a little bit. Is that fair to say?

Speaker 5 (22:14):
Yeah, I think it's fair. I think it's fair to say.

Speaker 6 (22:16):
I think what everything you said was pretty pretty spot
on to what I you know, what I thought about it.
I mean, it wasn't like this ridiculously exciting game. I
mean it was it was pretty vanilla. But I think
what you said was I think it hit home with me.
Is is that you hope to see a level of

(22:38):
comfort or you hope to see a level of of
I guess familiarity to what what that quarterback, what that
player to that that I guess that point is bringing
to the table and how they're playing. I did feel
like you did see a Drake May in the game
last night. It looked like he was more comfortable. It

(22:59):
looked like he was more confident in what he was doing.
But with that, again, with that being said, because I've
said the same thing about you know, Caleb Williams, I've
said the same thing about other quarterbacks that have looked
as though they were willing and dealing during this preseason.
I think it ultimately comes down to you want to

(23:23):
get your reps, and you want to you want to
have success playing, but you also have to understand that
this is the preseason and you're supposed to have success
in the preseason. I think if you struggle during the preseason,
and I would ask you this, que I mean because
I know for us as like defenders, I would say

(23:47):
if a guy is really tremendously struggling during the preseason,
it's for a couple of different things. Either they're not
up to speed with the playbook and they're just not
comfortable with what their responsibilities are, and they're not playing
fast enough because they're not aware of the playbook, or
they're just not they're just not acclimating well to the

(24:11):
differences from from college football to pros as rookies. And
sometimes it may it might be other, but generally during
my time, I always felt as though those were the
two major keys to why defenders didn't have a great
amount of success in the preseason.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Yeah, I think for offensive players, there's so many things
you're kind of juggling, and then as a quarterback specifically,
you're always tasked with not just knowing your job, but
knowing everyone else's. And I I'm gonna say this, and
I don't want like you to anyone to take a
slight at me for saying this, but like, no, look

(24:54):
the guys I played with that Notre Dame, there were
so many things we could do at the line of
scrimmage and communication and audibling and checking and all these things,
you know, checking our check with me system was very,
very easy. I mean, every one of these guys, Like,
in order to survive in Notre Dame, you had to
be sharp, like you really did. I'm not saying that

(25:15):
you always had to be the smartest guy, but you
had to have a work ethic. You had to be
able to retain information to be able to make it
on the field and off the field. And when I
got in the NFL, there was times where like you
were limited because a guy only had so much mental capacity.
But that being said, physically he was a phenomenon. So
in some aspects where like I wouldn't look at a

(25:37):
certain guy back in college because I know he's not
gonna get open. You know, when you're in the pros,
you're looking at the guy saying, well, it doesn't matter
if he's covered or not, like he'll go make a
play and so that that's kind of a little bit
of a difference, but it makes your job a little
harder too, when you're like constantly, hey, wait what I
got on this play? Okay, Hey, you're gonna take it.

(25:57):
That's a nasty split here, that's a cut down split.
Make sure you're on the line, you're off like this
is you got to motion across. Make sure you get
set supposed to you know, it's actually a ship. Just
look like emotion. You're talking to all these things to guys,
especially in preseason or rookies, because they get out there
and like they're just excited, you know, they're they're fired up,
they're ready to compete, ready to go ball. In the

(26:18):
heat of the moment, like they forget some of those things.
So that's the problem for like quarterbacks specifically, is you're
a task with not only just knowing your job, you
have to know every little thing about everyone else in
a few seconds before you have to go execute a
play and do your job. And then the hardest thing
I think about that is is when a guy doesn't

(26:40):
know where to get lined up, or if he's not
really sure, didn't know what his route was, it's hard
to then feel like, once this ball is stabbed, he's
gonna be where he's supposed to be. Like there's a
little bit of doubt there where you're like, well, is
this guy all of a sudden gonna be rounding his
in cut at sixteen climbing the eighteen yards two yards

(27:01):
outside of the hash where he's supposed to be by
the time up at the top of my drop. Because
I gotta trust him, I have to throw this ball
before he's probably even hit ten yards twelve yards down
the field, And so you're putting that ball out there
with timing and anticipation that he's gonna be there, yet
he didn't know what the hell to play was before
the snap. So like, those are things that I think

(27:24):
you have to work through as a quarterback in the NFL,
especially working with young players, because there's times where they
won't know what they're doing or they will be out there,
you know, running very indecisively too, which which makes it
more difficult.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
We talked yesterday about how the season doesn't look promising
for the Patriots, Like, I mean, they're projected to have
the lowest win total in the league. You said that, okay,
not to push you out there, Well, I mean, listen.

Speaker 5 (27:49):
They're gonna be terrible, I'll say, Carolina, I.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Mean, I think the Patriots are going to be terrible,
but I guess the Patriots.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
So if that's the case, would you still throw Dre
May out there having to deal with all of that
his rookie year and name him the starter?

Speaker 3 (28:06):
Yeah? Because what else are you selling to the fan base?

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Okay, so you wouldn't let Jacoby Brissette take all the bullets?
And then you know, at some point, I'm just saying, like, hey.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
Jacoby going for everyone? Know what type of person know?

Speaker 2 (28:23):
I'm just telling you, man, I'm just telling you, like, uh,
what are you telling? All right?

Speaker 1 (28:27):
So ouoni pizzas? Here's an example, all right, So when
we're making pizzas. All right, I went and I got
I'm telling you right now, this.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
Is why people things.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
That's fine, and they can say all they want, all right,
But I went and by this, I went and bought
three dough balls.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
Do you want to know why?

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Because the first one you were gonna mess up?

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Damn right. So is Jacoby Brissett the first dough ball
that needs to go out?

Speaker 3 (28:53):
So what do you say, Jacobysett? Joe Milton, then you're
putting in Drake.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Man, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
I mean, hey, Bailey's appy's still floating around. If he's
got to get it, he's got to get it. I mean,
I'm just saying, like, if this is it the best
thing to throw Drake May out there and just let
him kind of figure this out, knowing that this team
could be really bad.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
Oh just uh.

Speaker 3 (29:14):
You don't know, dude, You're you're gonna be the one
person that ends up just we don't want to put
the guy we just drafted in there.

Speaker 5 (29:22):
Nope.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
By the way, for those that are not part of
this text chain, which is everybody that's listening, lisent over
a picture of the damage and I'm trying to figure
out if my favorite part is the dog in the
midst of depression.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
At seeing it looks.

Speaker 6 (29:39):
Like it's in duress. Man, dog looks like there's something
bad going on.

Speaker 1 (29:43):
That dog would jump down an open elevator shaft if
there's one day.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
I appreciate the fact you've got a Fox Sports radio
mugg in there.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
He does have his Fox Sports.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
He's got his Green Bay Packers mug. There you go,
He's wrapid pack of camels. Some caterade for hydration, though
I'm sure there's something else mixed in there. And then
a box of tissues which hang by the way next
to a couch. I can only imagine what that's used for.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
You know my favorite part of it all. Look at
the rolled up socks to the bottom right of the screen.
Why are they on your coffee table?

Speaker 2 (30:18):
Throw those in your clothes hamper.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
He's got rolled up socks sitting on the table next
to all his booze.

Speaker 5 (30:24):
Hanging with the old man though I don't.

Speaker 6 (30:27):
You just don't know who he's he's hanging with, who
he's wheeling and dealing with.

Speaker 5 (30:31):
Man, it just.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Lead to la Coming up next here, we're going to
hear from somebody who has been borderline bullied by a
lot of sports fans out there, not only in this country,
but around the globe.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
Right here on FSR.

Speaker 5 (31:54):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (31:54):
Guys?

Speaker 10 (31:55):
Good morning?

Speaker 2 (31:55):
How are you Hi?

Speaker 3 (31:57):
Bury? Hi?

Speaker 10 (31:59):
Good morning? Okay, So we're going to start off you guys,
remember Ray Gun from the Olympics, right all that break
dancing kind of controversy.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Got robbed of a gold medal.

Speaker 10 (32:10):
Definitely right and a point and a point. So yesterday
she dropped an Instagram video just kind of addressing all
of the hate and just the response that she got
after her performance.

Speaker 11 (32:25):
Hi everyone, ray Gun here. I just want to start
by thanking all the people who have supported me. I
really appreciate the positivity and I'm glad I was able
to bring some joy into your lives.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
That's what I hoped.

Speaker 11 (32:43):
I didn't realize that that would also open the door
to so much hate, which has frankly been pretty devastating. Well,
I went out there and I had fun. I did
take it very seriously. I worked my butt off preparing
for the Olympia and I gave my all, truly, I'm

(33:03):
on it to have been a part of the Australian
Olympic team and to be part of Breaking's Olympic debut.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
Just a total sweetheart.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
I mean, you guys got anything you want to say
for yourselves after you destroyed her on the air for
two weeks.

Speaker 6 (33:20):
All I'll say is all those things, those are nice
sentiments by her, But there are a lot of people
that wish they could have did the same exact thing
to compete in the Olympics.

Speaker 5 (33:30):
And you know what, they're just not good enough.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
Did they actually listen to the entire SoundBite though, because
she's like, oh, I had a pre planned vacation. Well,
I'm sure you did. I mean, you anointed your husband
as the coach of the team, so he was probably
gonna be there anyway. That you just find your way
into it. The only enlightening thing she provided was the
scoring system and how that she actually did score points,

(33:58):
even though it didn't show up in like the box school,
which I will fully admit my ignorance to break dancing scoring.
I have no knowledge of it whatsoever. I just feel
like as an amateur, I can tell you what's not
breakdancing and what is breakdancing, and whatever the hell she
did should not be considered as breakdancing. And I think

(34:19):
the judges agreed. I just I think the judges and
a lot of other people agreed with that. I think
the people who are being nice to her are the
people who are out there and probably would be nice
to pretty much anyone who did any anything that was heinous, terrible, whatever.
They would probably just have.

Speaker 6 (34:36):
Something nice to say anyway. Yeah, and I took it
too literally. I think she took break dancing way too literally.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
We tell you something, She revolutionized the sport. That sport's
got more eyeballs on it now than never had before.

Speaker 3 (34:50):
All kind of day.

Speaker 6 (34:51):
First off, I didn't know breakdancing was a sport first
and foremost. I would have thought it was an art
by the way. But the fact that it turned into
a sport and she broke it, how coincidental or the
irony of the fact that Ray Goutton broke getting the Olympics.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
So disrespectful kind of comes up with a new style
and presents it to the world and you guys sit
here and you trash it.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
You gotta be ashamed of your new style.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Yeah, what was that news that.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Little bunny Hawks Sidewards dog.

Speaker 5 (35:26):
The little the seizure and yeah called it. They called
it all the sad Seizure Dance.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
I got news for you, pop in lock was the eighties,
Welcome to the seas.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
I mean, she's like Bill Clinton, She's in way too
deep to try to do anything other than deny this.
You know.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
Now that's the cigar.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
I'm just saying, she's got to keep she's got to
keep on this path that she can't like do anything else.
She's got to just stay on this path.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
Oh, I did not get any points at the Olympics.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
Listen, do what you gotta do and uh and thanks
for being a part of the Olympics break dancing.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
Not to have rapier yet again, bre what else we got?

Speaker 10 (36:06):
Okay, So ESPN did let go of Robert Griffin the
third and Sam Ponder and RG three actually have like
a funny tweet and did that little clip from Friday
like I got fired on my day off, Yeah, which
was kind of funny.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
So some people have kind of speculated about the timing
of this season right around the corner.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Why do they make the moves?

Speaker 1 (36:30):
You know, Sam Ponder has had some opinions on social
media about you know.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
It does seem odd that you have two football folks
getting fired this close to the season, for both Sam
and RG three, like I hate that for him, it's
like this, this is awful timing. They don't have an
opportunity to really to jump in somewhere else us because
most slots already filled. And so from the from that standpoint,
I don't care what the reasoning is. Rationale is take

(37:00):
care of your employees at least in that respect, Like,
if you knew you were going to make this move
for budgetary reasons, you should have done it back in
April or May and given him at least a few
months to find Letlanta under feet somewhere. But now you
put them in this position, Like that's to me? Is
it leads to that something else is there that they
were doing, whether it's the croissant for RG three or whatever.

(37:22):
Sam Potter said, I'm just saying, like, whatever the case
may be, like say it's about that, but don't make
it budgetary because then you look bad for the timing
of all this.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
In my opinion, why would he think that the cruissant
picture was a good idea to send out?

Speaker 2 (37:36):
Like why would that be?

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Like because he also called games, and he would make
comments that were so over the top that it'd be like, dude,
you're calling a game, like you're making crank jokes, Like
while you're calling a broadcast?

Speaker 2 (37:50):
What are you doing?

Speaker 1 (37:51):
Like I didn't make any sense. And then he sends
the picture of the It's like, what the hell's going
was it?

Speaker 5 (37:58):
What was it? Tell me about it? Yeah, what was
this all about?

Speaker 1 (38:02):
Taking a bite out of a croissant and in a
way that you know, I was trying to pretend like
it was something else.

Speaker 3 (38:08):
Oh okay, it's a gigantic croissans.

Speaker 5 (38:11):
I got it.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
I get it. I get it.

Speaker 5 (38:14):
Like, yeah, I got it.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
How you guys feel about croissants.

Speaker 3 (38:18):
I love them. But I would never ever ever do
something like what was portrayed to it? Is that still?
Is that still there? Photo? Yeah? I don't find it. Yeah, okay,
I'm not going to Google search that though, because I'm not.

Speaker 5 (38:36):
I'm not going to Google search.

Speaker 3 (38:37):
And I was just curious if it was still there.

Speaker 1 (38:39):
Like, hey, if you want to, if you want to
throw your algorithm off us, just Google search RG three
croissant in mouth and then just see what pops up.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
Because it was very uncomfortable.

Speaker 5 (38:50):
You know now that I am going to do it.
I am going to do this RG three.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
Luck to your algorithm at this point, man, have some
weird stuff popping up?

Speaker 2 (38:59):
Now, free, we got time for one more? What are
we looking at? I will listen.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
We're up against it, but you know, yeah, it sucks.
So Sam Pond are RG three. Sam Ponder does a
good job. She'll land on her feet at some point.
But the problem is, you know, seasons like two weeks away,
so now we've got to figure it out. But nonetheless
that was our one of the program. Great job by
all involved, our two up next and somebody who's aggressive
in the NFL.
