up to speed on what is happening here on the show,
the Internet crashed, so the Internet decided to pull a
Disney slash direct TV and just not work, and so

(01:23):
thus LeVar and Brady also crashed. They were connected with
their home studios, and because there's no internet, there is
no connection.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
So some would have been saying that this is this
is the best.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
The show's ever sounded, and I wouldn't disagree with it,
to be honest with you. I mean, you know, listen,
I mean you know, as the star of the show,
this is kind of what I think everything it was
meant to happen this way, and so I'm not going
to sit here and try and defend myself. I've been
accused of people saying that I pulled the plug on
their internet connection intentionally, LeVar, I don't want you to

(02:02):
think that that's the case whatsoever.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Like, not at all.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
Not.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
I take no offense at all. I mean I know
that you got some shady business going on you and Lead.
That's all right.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
It's like a little shade now.

Speaker 6 (02:15):
It just seems like now y'all getting Raina involved in No,
she's helping crash the lines like this. It's fine, that's
what it is. You know, we'll work through it.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Now.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
We do have a developing situation in the NFL, not
quite breaking news because it's nothing official yet, but we've
been talking about the Jamar Chase situation in Cincinnati apparently
apparently efforts are intensifying and trying to get the deal done.
We already know that the Niners and Brandon Ayuk got
their deal done.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Well.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Speaking of the Niners, the one that hasn't gotten as
much attention but is starting to because the season is
approaching is Trent Williams, and according to Adam Schefter per
league sources, Trent Williams and the forty nine are trying
to finalize a deal. He returned to the Bay Area
last night, according to his brother, So it does seem

(03:07):
like a deal could be happening here very very soon.
If the deal is announced, if we do have some
you know, some details on that, we will break.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
In with that and give you all the latest.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
But at least it appears like Trent Williams is there
and they're having conversations if we could be close to
getting this whole thing done.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
Well, there you go. I mean that's that's a major
piece to the puzzle for San Francisco forty nine ers.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
I mean, you're going to have a.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
Real opportunity to have success and have it early on.
You know, you'd have to assume that Trent Williams plays
a major part in doing and doing so. So you know,
you may mention that the fact that there hadn't been much,
you know, made about it. A lot of fuss about

(03:54):
the Trent Williams contract. I found that to be interesting
because if you may up the point, you know, who
who are you? I think it was you I did that.
Who would you take if ye had ten times to choose,
who do you take? You know, Trent Williams or take
X player on the on the San Francisco forty nine ers.

(04:17):
You know, I don't know of anybody else on that
team that I'd say out of ten times that I
would do a contract with them before I make sure
I did a contract with Trent Williams. So that's how
important he is to you know, the stability and the
continuity that they've been able to build in Sam Brand.
Now they have dealt with not having him, but you know,

(04:41):
they're clearly not as good a team as as they
are when they have Trent Williams and the lineup. So
I thought it was interesting that it didn't garner more
attention than what it had during the duration of everybody
else trying to get there. You know, these receivers trying
to get their contracts and then quarterbacks trying to get
your contracts done. But make no mistake about it, Trent

(05:03):
Williams is a very very critical player and a piece
to the San Francisco's team to have success.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
I mean, also at his age, like you know, like
this is probably his last, probably his last deal, you
would think, I mean, with with how how much he's played,
the injuries he's gone through, so you know, to get
this one last one in knowing like how close they've
come to winning a super Bowl now twice since he's
gotten there, Like, I mean, it made all the sense

(05:32):
in the world that they would try. They're going to
figure out a way to get this deal done and
make this deal work because look at these championship windows
close quick, and it's like and also people forget that,
you know, the Niners after you know, they had a
deep run, and like, the reason why they were able
to land Nick Bosa when they did is because they

(05:53):
were terrible the next year, and so they landed a
high draft pick, and that's why they were able to
land Bosa. Like, I look at it and I go,
if we know that Super Bowl hangovers are a real thing,
and they are just based on everything we've seen in
the NFL outside of you know, the Chiefs and maybe
the Patriots. If that's the case, it's imperative for the Niners.

(06:13):
They have every piece back that they had last year
and then some, and so to have Trent Williams back
in the building and Brandon Ayuk, the Niners have kind
of mastered the art of having a player not happy
with this contract but getting it done at the last
second and getting everybody happy and in the building.

Speaker 6 (06:30):
Well, I guess we're going to continue to find out.
But I think that's the hardest contract to get done
was going to be Brandon Nyuk. And as you've made
it so clear to cover you know the importance of
getting that one done, I think everything else falls into place.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
I mean, hold on, let me just tell you something here, Okay, Like.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Yeah, so we're talking to Brandon Ayuk deal a lot,
all right, Like I don't know how many more times
we've got to break down, like who's the face of
the WNBA?

Speaker 4 (07:00):
All right?

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Like I feel like once you do it, once you're good,
all right. And so some other shows might sit there
and force feed you w NBA or golf for some
other conversation and topic out there. But we know what
butters our bread and it's the NFL. And if we've
got a holdout or a fake holdout that we can
talk about as opposed to some breakdancer in the Olympics,

(07:21):
then why not. So I will definitely take the blame
for that on the Brandon Auk conversation, and top I don't.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
Take as much exception to it as Q does with you,
you know what I mean. I kind of understand you
got to play the hits and that you got a
contract that isn't out there, that's that's done. You got
to you know, you got to shed light on it.
But I will say this, you could have been shedding
more light on the Trent Williams scenario versus the Brandon

(07:49):
Ayuk scenario, but you chose to go with Brandon Ayuk.
So I'm to be a.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Tag Okay, But going back to your initial point talking
about the value of Trent Williams as opposed to other players.
I never thought that Trent Williams was going anywhere.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
I thought.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
I always thought at some point, well, I mean, but
you know, he's there. It feels like something's going to
happen here any minute that Trent Williams is going to
sign the deal. If he's already in the Bay Area,
like I guess his brother, you know, tweeted or ig'ed
out something that said year fifteen coming in hot, you know,
so it feels like the deal's basically done. Maybe he's

(08:28):
just got to put pen to paper to get all
that done. But I never thought that Trent Williams wasn't
going to be a Niner. They were going to figure
out this thing because they know his value. Brandon Ayuk.
I thought it was either he was going to say, well,
I thought either Brandon Ayuk was going to get traded,
or he was going to have to play on whatever
he was going to have to play on on this final.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
Year of his rookie contract.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Like I actually didn't think and or I was less
optimistic they were going to get a long term deal done,
So that one was a little bit surprising for me.
Trent Williams, there was no own way in hell that there.
You heard the way John Lynch talked about the two
when he talked about Brandon Ayuk negotiation and Trent Williams.
Completely different discussion, completely different tone, because they all recognize

(09:11):
this like a first bout Hall of Famer, like he's one,
Like he's still the best tackle in the game. We're
going to get this deal done one.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Way or the other.

Speaker 6 (09:20):
Yeah, that's what it appeared to be. I mean, but
you still chose to focus in on Auk and you
created just as you introduced those storylines just now you've
done that. During the course and the duration of time
I'm waiting for IU steal to get done, you could
have been doing the same thing with Trent Williams. You
could have been helping Trent Williams create a market, you know,

(09:41):
the one that he probably already has anyway, but you
could have helped it out talking about Trent and having
us talk about Trent as it applies to you know
how important he is, all those things you just said.
I just feel like you know what your bias towards receivers,
and you're a little bit prejudice towards Lineman, think that
could be what it is? What?

Speaker 4 (10:01):
So what do you get trying to get it?

Speaker 3 (10:03):
You don't think I have love for Lineman, my my
nephews a linement at Middle Tennessee right now, Okay, like.

Speaker 6 (10:08):
I got love going a lot of love, you know.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
By the way, you love saying that you love saying that. Yeah,
So listen, Trent Williams and the Niners appear like they're
gonna get this deal done, and so we will correctly.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Yes, that is correct.

Speaker 6 (10:34):
Yeah, okay, all right.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
And by the way, people are their dad's name is Tyrone.
For people that are thinking this is all a joke,
it's not like it's actually not.

Speaker 6 (10:42):
This is a big boy named after some big boys.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Yes, they are the match. Yeah, so so again.

Speaker 6 (10:54):
I'm on the match.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
By the way, do you want to hear a little
bit of Jim Harbor speaking of uh.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Yeah, and Brady's dad Tyrone too.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
We've got a couple of we got a couple of
by the way, about the fact that we've got two
Tyrone's involved in this show, and uh, but they're both
related to Brady and I like, how about that? You know,
like that that really says something about this show.

Speaker 6 (11:19):
I don't even know that I know a tyrone.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
To be honest, you do now, you know too.

Speaker 6 (11:26):
I don't know them though. Yeah, so I'm kind of jealous.
I don't. I don't believe I know a tyrone.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
That's all right, listen, you know not everybody can have everything,
so you know, at least that's a that's one one
up that we've got. Do you want to hear at?

Speaker 4 (11:43):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Do you want to hear Jim Harbaugh? So Jim Harbaugh
was talking about just sort of just sort of some narratives.
So we're gonna we're gonna pull this sound from Jim
Harbaugh here coming up coming up here shortly talking about
just sort of the the narrative on himself and basically
just saying when people talk about him and talk about

(12:07):
how difficulty is and whatnot, it's like, you know, he
doesn't feel like, you know, he's that difficult. And you
look at the way that Jim Harbaugh's career is gone.
You kind of ran a little bit hot in San
Francisco speaking of the Niners. You know, things didn't end
all that well with the Michigan Wolverines, even though he
won a national title. I look at it and I go,

(12:27):
I get that. You know, maybe after like three four years,
maybe it kind of wears out. It's welcome, you're out
here in LA. With the Chargers, they need something, like
they need like whatever Brandon Staley was bringing the organization
like it wasn't helping. Like it does feel like they
are the little brother in that building. They're renters to

(12:49):
the Rams, and the Chargers need something. And it feels
like with Jim Harbaugh there is a star power and
like a football star power that's been attached to the organization.
So he may run and burn himself out in like
four or five years or three four years, whatever the
case is, but we know the guy can coach.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
We know he's going to do it in a unique way.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
He's already had a unique impact on the team just
based on this offseason. So even if he runs everybody
crazy and drives him all out of the building there
in three four years, if they're winning games, who gives
a rip. The organization needs any sort of lifeline they
can get at.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
This point in time that we here s No, we
do not have the sound on that. That's why I
skip past that part.

Speaker 6 (13:34):
So I'll say this Harball does bring a level of
curiosity with him. He brings a level of probably at
this point, hope and belief that if there's a guy
that can get the job done, it's probably him. I

(13:55):
would just caution people that it took him time in
Michigan to to build that team out, you know, and
get to a point of where they were winning. In fact,
there was there was you know, obviously moments that were
tense moments with the contract that you and you know,
just them being able to beat Ohio State. You know,
there there were moments in time. It wasn't always you know,

(14:20):
just just who robs and who Ray's going going towards Harrorball.
So I would just caution people to think, think logically
like he is going to probably do a knockdown job
of building that team up into a good team. It
is a team that has talent on it that they
should be able to win right now. But you got

(14:43):
to keep in mind, for one, they are in one
of the hardest h divisions in all of the NFL.
UH and that AFC West Division. Uh, it's probably it's
probably between them and in Kansasity, although I will not
count out, you know, either the Vegas Raiders or the

(15:05):
Denver Broncos, because well, I just don't know that we
know enough about them to actually condemn them fully, So
I won't. I won't say that they're not in the race.
I'll just say we know that Kansas City is still
the team to beat in that division as far as
making football matter in California or or playing you know,

(15:27):
first fiddle to to you know, a team like the Rams.
You know, it just comes down to winning, don't Its
like if they win, then you start to shift the
attention and you start to shift the excitement towards your
your direction, and then if you continue to win, that
will continue to happen. So I think Harball knows that.

(15:50):
I think it's a hell of a market that's kind
of in a lot of ways up for grabs. You
don't really know what's going on with, you know, really
any of the other professional teams side of the Dodgers.
I mean they you know, they're the Dodgers, though you know,
they're an institution. The kind of just they they kind
of hold their own their own space, you know, So

(16:12):
it's not like you're competing against the Dodgers because that's
just not realistic. But every other sport, I mean, it's historical.
As as the Lakers are, you know, they're it's up
for grabs. You know, I don't know how good they're
going to be. I don't know how involved the fan
base will be with the Lakers, saying with the Clippers,

(16:35):
you know, saying with you know, even the Rams. The
Rams could be good, you know, you just don't know.
It's possible. They could be good. And they have won
the Super Bowl, so they're just one of those teams
where you know, they have earned the respect in the
football community, but it's still a what have you done
for me lately type of situation and they've been okay,

(16:56):
but they haven't been at the level they were when
they want the Super Bowl. Yeah, well, interesting to see
how it all plays out here. But our boy is
the guy that can make it interesting. As a as
an LA Chargers fan, it's.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Gonna be fun as hell. Jim Harborn Town, It's gonna
be a lot of fun, gonna add a little bit
of spice up and for football here in Los Angeles,
that's for sure. It is two pros and a Cup
of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
Jonas Knox with you coming up next here though, we
are going to get the very latest on the soon
to be blockbuster deal in San fran and one that

(17:31):
may not happen elsewhere in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
And that's all yours right here on FSR.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Be sure to catch live editions of two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific

That's right Dan.

Speaker 8 (17:56):

the competition.

Speaker 7 (18:08):
Listen to I Want Your Flex with Mike Carmon and
Met Dan Byer on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts and
wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Right now.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
Pete Prisco is in CBS Sports Analyst for CBS Sports
HQ Senior NFL columnists. You can get them on x
at Prisco CBS. Pete, I'm sorry to inform you, but no,
Brady Quinn this moment because of an Internet crashing on
the show, and therefore it knocked Brady and LeVar out.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
So the Internet is gone here in the studio.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
You know, Jonas, I'm gonna give you a lot of credit.
It one week in and those guys are already hiding
from me and here you are ready to go.

Speaker 6 (18:47):
I love it. Listen.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
I mean they don't want the smoke from the mayor
of Jacksonville, all right. I have been told that you
kind of run the show down there, so they don't
want any of that, any of those problems here this
early in the morning makes sense.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
Yeah, well I'm in Fort Lauderdale now, but I'm still
the mayor of Jacksonville.

Speaker 6 (19:04):
But that's okay. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
Yeah. I used to live around a block from Brady,
and so I'd be riding my bike and I'd see
Brady pushing forty two of his kids around him and
his wife were walking.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
Yeah, that is true.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
You know, everyone's talking about Tyreek Hill and the work
he's done in South Florida. When Brady Quinn's like, you know,
making a run for it, you know, and now in Ohio.
So I do want to ask you this. So the
Trent Williams are reporting is he's shown up and they're
going to, you know, get this deal done and all that.
Like there was no shot that they weren't going to

(19:34):
figure out a way to get this deal done with
Trent Williams right Like, it felt like just hearing John
Lynch talk about it, that they I don't want to
say they valued him more than they did Brandon Ayuk,
but this always felt like this was going to get
done one way or another.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
It was. And nor was Trent Williams going to sit
out for any games either. And he's done that before,
but everybody said, well he did it back in the day.
And but back in the day, he wasn't older, and
there's only so many earning years and games in your body.
He wasn't going to sit out anyways. But they came
to a good resolution that sounds like, and that's that's
the way it should be. You want to reward a
veteran player is a big part of your offense. You know,

(20:11):
you look at their offensive line. If he's not on
that offensive line. That's not a great offensive line. So
I think they had to get him done. He's smart
to get it done. He's not going to miss any games,
and off they go. So yeah, I agree with you.
I always thought it was going to get done. Guys
don't sit out anymore.

Speaker 6 (20:26):
You know.

Speaker 5 (20:26):
The Reddick in the situation with the Jets is interesting.
I'll be curious to see how that gets resolved, if
it gets resolved at all. But I mean, I can't
imagine when you're that guy, you're leading that money on
the table.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
You know, it's weird because you mentioned the Hassan Reddicks stuff,
and this is the part that kind of blows my
mind about the Jets. So like they're hung up on this. Well,
we don't want to set a precedent that, you know,
if we're going to reward players that don't show up
with new contrasts, because what does that say to other
players in the building. Well, if you're Joe Douglas and
you're Robert Salah and Aaron, like, what do you care

(20:57):
what it does for next year? Because if you don't
win this year, you're gone anyways, So like why not,
Like I know it goes against unless Woody Johnson's the
guy handing him out, handing out the you know the
rules there that we don't operate this way. Why not
do whatever you can to get the best player in
the building or the best players in the building a
son reddick helps your team and then worry about what

(21:18):
this does to the organization down the road.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
If this means.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
You're gonna win games and people are going to keep
their jobs, I don't know why they're so hung up
on wanting to do things this way.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
Right. If you're Joe Douglas and Robert fol you got
to you have to make this deal done because you're
You're right. If they don't. If they do not win
this year, they're gone. And they know that, and that's
why it probably is coming from the top. But again,
you'd make the deal with the idea you're going to
give them a new contract, and then he doesn't get
a new contract, and all of a sudden you're sitting
there just bad, bad football business. So I agree with you.

(21:50):
If you're the coach and the general matter of that team,
you have to get that deal done as quickly as
you can to get him into the into the room
and get him, you know, acclimated to playing football. Yeah,
I don't understand the whole concept of it. They botched
it and it ultimately could cost them.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
He is Pete Prisco's senior NFL columnist for CBS Sports,
CBS Sports HQ analysts, joining us here on Fox Sports Radio.
Get him on x at Prisco, CBS. So the Jamar
Chase situation, this is the other one. You know, we thought, okay, ceedee, lamb,
it got done. Brandon Ayuka got done. It appears Trent
Williams is going to get done. He's in San Francisco

(22:26):
apparently putting pen to paper there with the forty nine ers.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Jamar Chase.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
Now, I have said that their season doesn't really start
until next weekend because they've got the Patriots this week,
and they could beat the Patriots with Chevy Chase at
wide receiver.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
It doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
But I look at it and I go, is he
really going to sit out? I guess this is another
one of these. Do you buy that he'll miss time
or he'll miss games if he doesn't get the contract
he wants, or do you expect that this gets done regardless?
And this is all smoke and we're just going through
the last final stages of getting a contract done.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
I think you'll get a contract done. I really believe
that the difference is he's got two years left.

Speaker 6 (23:10):
On this deal.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
You know, that's that's the difference. He's got twenty four
and twenty five. So you know, now you're talking about
presidents there. But as he earned it, of course he has.
The Bengals been considered tristy through the years. Yes, I
think the organization has changed that perception though they've done
a much better job of that. You know, they used
to be very limited in how many scouts they had

(23:32):
and what their scouting budget was like. But that's changed,
and so I think ultimately they'll get this deal done.
He's not gonna miss games. This guy loves to compete.
I would be astounded if he didn't it didn't play
in this week's game, I really would. I think he'll
be there, he'll play, and then they'll get the deal done.
If they don't get it done this week, because he's
such a big part of what they do, they have

(23:53):
to month deal.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
I was telling Brady this because he was giving me
a hard time because we talked about the Brandon Aiyuk
stuff as much as we did, and I'm like, dude,
like I'm rooting for one of these guys to miss games.
So it doesn't make us look like we wasted time
talking about these stories all off season. It's like, you know,
people were busting my balls because we're talking about Brandon
Ayuk every day. It's like, what do you want to
talk about that that weirdo breakdancer from the Olympics. Like,

(24:14):
I mean, listen, this is football, NFL's king, and if
Jamar Chase holds out, I think it's better conversation for us.
Although it feels like those that just doesn't happen nowadays
in the NFL.

Speaker 5 (24:24):
Like play, they all show up. They always show up.
I say it all the time. That's why I don't
get so caught up at all these these you know,
when he's not there, Brandon Ike didn't show up, like
you said, it's all they talk about all summer. Trent
Williams is not there. They all show up because they
know they have to get that money. They have to
get those earning Again, the life expectancy of an NFL

(24:46):
player is not very long, So get it when you
can get it, and you're not going to leave that
money on the table. So I wouldn't be astounded if
if all of them show up, including Reddick.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Pete Prisco with us here on Fox Sports Radio. So
let me ask you about the planning behind this Brazil trip,
because now you've got Eagles players that are saying, you know,
we don't want to go. Darius Lay saying I don't
want to go. It's it's so restricted. We obviously saw,
you know, they're talking about the crime rates out there.
We obviously saw what happened with Ricky Pearsall in San Francisco,

(25:17):
And so they're flying out tomorrow, the games on Friday,
and then they've just got to come back on a
ten hour flight and just continue on with the season.
I mean, the Eagles get, you know a little bit
of a break because they play on Monday night and
Week two, but the Packers are playing the very next Sunday.
It's just and we were kind of thrown out, like

(25:37):
how could you have made this better? If they're trying
to grow the game, Like why not do this in
the preseason. It does feel like now that it's here,
it doesn't seem like the most ideal spot for those
teams to be in from a logistical standpoint, Well.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
I mean it's probably no different than what you do
in the you know, when you go to the overseas
games in Europe. I mean it's very similar. You know
this this at least you get that extra day because
it's on a Friday. I mean, you do get a
little extra time. So sometimes teams, you know, nowadays, they
have the choice of taking the buy after you play
in overseas, and a lot of teams have passed on

(26:11):
that and play the next week. So I'm with you though,
but that this is all the big picture to grow
the game. I mean, the players be damned, teams be damned.
The NFL wants to grow the game internationally, and that's
why they do this. Is it fair to the players,
Probably not. Is it tough on the players, you bet?
But I mean as far as once you get on
the field, you go play the game. Now, the other stuff,

(26:32):
those guys not wanting to, you know, be a part
of what's going on because of the crime in the city.
I mean, heck, some of our cities are filled with crime.
Look what happened, like you mentioned what happened to Ricky
Piersoll and San Francisco.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Yeah, it's that's a terrible situation. If three thirty in
the afternoon, guys leaving a signing goes to go shopping
and somebody pulls a handcannon on him, like trying to
get his role X.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
What do we do?

Speaker 6 (26:56):
Terrible?

Speaker 5 (26:56):
Yeah, terrible, But here's a message, Ricky, give it to him.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
That is true. I mean you did.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (27:06):
If somebody comes up to me, If somebody comes up
to me with a gun and says, I want your watch,
here you go, anything else you need, isn't that, I
mean it really is. It's a terrible situation, then thank god,
Ricky Piersoll is fine.

Speaker 6 (27:21):
Thank god.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
All right, so we got to know, because the NFL
season is here, do you got a Super Bowl pick?
Do you have a surprise pick? Like, what's the one
that took the most balls to make?

Speaker 6 (27:33):
That?

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Brady's gonna be harping on the entire year if it
goes poorly for you, which is the one.

Speaker 5 (27:39):
It was, it's the game itself, because he'll probably rip
apart both of them. I picked the Packers to beat
the Bills in the Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
Yes, oh okay, all right, Look I could have.

Speaker 5 (27:51):
Gone chalking with the Chiefs and I just think three
peeting is there's a reason that hasn't happened in the
Super Bowl era. I mean, it really is.

Speaker 6 (27:58):
It's hard to do.

Speaker 5 (28:00):
And they might be a better team than they were
a year ago because their offense is going to be
better than it was most of the last season. But
it's so tough Jones to get that get make it happen.
Everybody's gunning for you, and I think the a season
loaded somebody. You know, the Chiefs will probably end up
with the number one seed, but somebody go in there
and beat them, and that's what I think ultimately happens.
And I have the playing out. I've actually played it

(28:21):
out where the Jets get in the postseason, beat them
at Arrowhead, Aaron Rodgers has a big day, and then
they go to Buffalo and lose to the Bills. That's
how I play that out. And the Packers I think
are the most slept on team of everybody. You know,
it's all the Lions, it's all the Bears, it's the
Eagles and the Cowboys.

Speaker 6 (28:37):
And the Niners.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
But the Packers showed last season that they were a
bunch of young kids that really didn't know what they
were doing until the end and at the end, they
probably should have beat the forty nine ers, and I
think that experience will let those young players grow. But
more than that, you get Jeff Hapley on that defense
to change the way they play, and they're going to
be a four to three team, much more aggressive, much

(28:59):
more bumping on. They've added some players like McKinney. I
think the defense is gonna be the biggest difference with
the pass.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
So you've got the Bills getting in the way of
an Aaron Rodgers and Jets versus Packers super Bowl.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
Yeah, by the way, can you imagine can you imagine
New Orleans if it's Buffalo and Green Bay in the
Super Bowl? Could imagine what that town was?

Speaker 4 (29:18):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Yeah, that it's gonna be Bill's mafia. We'll make their
presence felt for sure.

Speaker 5 (29:27):
The horrible thing about that is Jones I got them
losing to the Packers. Can you imagine those going to
the Super Bowl again and losing?

Speaker 4 (29:32):
Oh that's terrible.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Yeah, I mean, but I see, I'm torn on the
Bills because I look at it and I go, well, yeah,
they've lost a lot. You know, Stefan Diggs is gone,
and you kind of made the point like that's an
addition by subtraction.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
And I'm I'm.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
Kind of wondering if while everyone's looking the other way
and they're talking Rogers and Jets and they're talking Dolphins,
and it's feel good for Tua and he got paid
and everybody got paid, and McDaniel got an extension, and
the Bills are just kind of sitting as being the
most consistent team in that division over the past several years.
And I wonder if maybe this is the year with
all the Josh Allen is overrated talk, that the Bills

(30:09):
come back and remind everybody why they are who they are.

Speaker 5 (30:12):
Yeah, and that doctor Allen talk is stupid. I mean,
that's is just dumb. But you know, everybody talks about
what they lost. They lost so many guys last year
that by the time the end of the year came around,
the defense was decimated. Day Kwon Jones' best run stuff
are not there. Matt Mallana now he's hurt again, but
he wasn't there. The Tradavius White went down earlier season.
Poyer and Hyde were banged up all year, and so

(30:36):
they von Miller even he even told me he's a
show of himself and so they're going to be that
much better on defense and then offensively. Okay, they don't
have stef On Diggers, but he didn't do anything in
the last ten games of the season, and they've changed
the way they play offense, the balls getting out quicker
and not having him is not going to be a problem.
So yeah, this is anybody who thinks the window is

(30:58):
shut on the Buffalo.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
Bill Crazy, get him on x at Prisco, CBS pe
Prisco senior NFL columnists for CBS Sports ACBS Sports HQ analyst.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
All right, you're ready?

Speaker 10 (33:07):
Yeah, well this is gonna be fun because uh yeah,
I had no internet to do any research on.

Speaker 4 (33:12):
Any all right, so many as we'll do it. Hey,
let's just do it. Let's just got out there.

Speaker 10 (33:18):
Let's see what comes up on the old internet machine. Here, okay,
your cell phone? Hey, hey, guys, did.

Speaker 4 (33:25):
You know it's US Bowling League day?

Speaker 10 (33:27):
Are you guys in and out on bowling leagues?

Speaker 4 (33:31):
It used to be in a bowling league too, me too?
They're fine? Man, Hey, fun fact.

Speaker 10 (33:36):
Did you know bowling was outlawed in Connecticut in the
eighteen thirties and forties. And the way they got because
of over gambling and the way they got around it
was it used to be nine pins, and that's when
they introduced the tenth pin.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
I'll do it anything.

Speaker 9 (33:51):
So they added a pin, and all of a sudden
they were like, all is a different game. Yeah, oh,
apparently we could steal bull and garble here.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Yeah I don't. I mean, who are just set this
extra pin right.

Speaker 6 (34:05):
There right there?

Speaker 4 (34:07):
Because of gambling? Like like, what's the problem.

Speaker 10 (34:10):
Yeah, they said it was a detriment to the public welfare,
threat to public welfare.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
You just don't know about that.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
Yeah, man, this is just ridiculous in my performance this weekend.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
Not ideal either, what else? How is that possible?

Speaker 9 (34:25):
I don't like everyone I talked to this week in
about college football made a killing.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
I've got a buddy.

Speaker 9 (34:33):
He went eight and one because you know, we talked
about the usc L SU game and he broke even there.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
But he was on a heater.

Speaker 6 (34:41):
Man.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
Now does he a proof of this or is he one?
Is he like he is Floyd Mayweather? Yeah, he's got proof,
all right. I just want to make sure.

Speaker 5 (34:51):
Proof.

Speaker 4 (34:52):
Just believe take qu's word for it, because nobody ever
believes me when I clean that I win games.

Speaker 6 (34:57):
Well, who's who's backing you?

Speaker 4 (34:59):
Who's who giving you proof? I mean you, I don't share.
People also don't win games, so that's kind of part
of it.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Yeah, but when I do, at least you know I'm
being honest about it, because I'm always honest about all
my losses.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
Just not a great weekend.

Speaker 5 (35:11):
Whatever.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
We just assume you lose a lot, thank you, That's
about it.

Speaker 11 (35:14):
I appreciate it, but don't lose a lot, you lose
a lot, but you don't lose a lot.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Yeah, because you don't bet a lot. There you trick.

Speaker 6 (35:22):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (35:23):
What else we got?

Speaker 10 (35:24):
Lee College Volleyball Louisville versus at Penn State Louisville, Louisville
at Penn State Nebraska ESCO Louisville.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
Come on, Cardinals.

Speaker 11 (35:33):
Yeah, you sound like Leonard and her.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
You know he took you know, he took the points
in West Virginia this week?

Speaker 2 (35:39):
Right?

Speaker 4 (35:41):
Did you know that far? That's fine.

Speaker 11 (35:44):
If you guys were listening to me at which I
heard the confidence in your voice when you hit them
with with your analysis and major PICKQ Like, if y'all
were listening, we were good. We were going to be good.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
So wait, wait a second, So Matt Lionerd and Irvin
Meyer can be swayed on their pick just based on
the atmosphere of the kids and the fans that are
there before the game.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
Who's saying that, well, like they picked West Virginia.

Speaker 9 (36:14):
Dude, we usually locked that stuff in for like production
standpoint the day before.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
Okay, but you need to tell me they didn't have
any sort of like they thought West Virginia was gonna win.
I mean crazy, I know, trust me, trust me.

Speaker 11 (36:30):
I don't know what type of time they put in
looking at these rosters, but hey, you know what I
mean listen. I mean, those guys are credible.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
So that's why Brady always says he's a star, big
New Kickoff. You know, I've never said that once in
my life. He is the star.
