(01:01):
without nobody.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
That's actually pretty good.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
What did you hit me with? Joda? Why could I
see a mental Why do I get a mental image
when you do it? Though?

Speaker 4 (01:21):
That's horrible, by the way, horrible. You guys are gonna
go broke on Father's Day.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Father's Day, But at some point of stuff, at some
point we're going to be good though.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
At some point oh man, well, congratulations to you and
the missus and uh, and we'll leave it at that.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yeah, I don't think we need to focus on anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
No sports.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
Come on, Yeah, enough with the horsing around here on this.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Y'all seeing what I had to do to get on
this show this morning, man, well even this entire week.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
If you think, I mean you had stuff going on,
and you know, I.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Left my court that connected my my microphone to my machine.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
What's it called, like xl R.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
It is called a XLR. That's right, you got Pam.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Can't leave that, that's like it's actually they're not that expensive,
but they're not cheap.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
It's not about that part of it. It was just
nothing was open. Nothing was open. Not a creature was stirring,
not even a mouse.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Are you in the Happy Valley right now? Yes? Hey?
Do you go by that dairy place very often?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
The creamery?

Speaker 3 (02:39):
The creamery? Yeah? You ever get peachy Paterno, no idea
what that means. I've got one time? Wait have we
talked about this too? By the way, I went one
time with my brother in law's little brother, which I'm
still not sure what exactly that is to me. Yeah,

(03:00):
what is your brother in law's brother.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Your brother in law's brother is just your brother in
law's brother.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
So's there's no relation to me. No, Yeah, that's not
like a thing where you'd say, like it's your.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
You can claim him if you want to. You can
claim your brother in law's brother would actually be your
brother in law as well, unless he was your brother
in law's brother in law.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
I see.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
If they're brothers by blood, that means that that's your
wife's brother, right, but it's not mine. It's not your brother,
but it's your brother in law. So it's not your
brother in law's brother. It's your brother in law. But
if it's a brother in law's brother in law, then
he's nothing to you, unless, of course he is your

(03:50):
brother in law by the marriage of one brother in
the family or sister in the other family. You know
what I mean. If y'all got whatuld I just put down,
I don't.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
I mean, I just think a brother in law because
you can't, you.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Know, you can't. You got to be an equal opportunity
lender in twenty twenty four, So saying that whatever the
partner would be in your wife's family, that person would
be your in law. Now anything extended from that meaning
like okay, your well then again, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Can we just have Lee chime in on this? I'm
really curious thoughts, because he's going to have something he
looked up.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Your brother in law's brother is somebody who just wants
free stuff.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
If you're famous, that's all it is.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Would it be a sibling in law?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
I mean he would be your brother in law. If
he's the brother to your brother in law, he's your
brother in law. I don't know, no, I mean, how
does that not right?

Speaker 5 (04:52):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
My wife's got about four thousand cousins. I don't consider
him family. Sang At a certain point, you got to
cut some people off.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
That's not the point. But what is their official designation
to you? They could be your cousin in law. They
could be your uncle in law. I would know, you know,
all right, Although I do not look at my chicks
uncles as my uncle's not one bit, not at all.
I just look at them as their names. Your name
is your name?

Speaker 5 (05:20):
Well, can you clear this up?

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Force? Please?

Speaker 6 (05:22):
No?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I cannot.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (05:23):
In fact, if you look it up, they say there
is no uh genealogical term for what we're trying to discuss.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
Sorry, cut off point.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Then how do you have a brother in law to
begin with? If you have a brother in law's brother.
How do you have a brother in law to begin with.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
Because of your wife?

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Okay, so then what is the brother to the brother
in law's.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
Wife somebody that ain't getting going to be counted on
all not?

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Let me ask you. Let me ask you this, all right, Q,
here's a caveat. Here's a caveat. Is the brother in
law's brother, the brother of the other in law, a
brother to your wife or is that from a different relationship.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
I would think that that's her brother in law because
she married into the family. However, he's nothing to me
because my brother in law, because my sister married into
the family, is her husband by law? Right, But there's
nothing by law that would connect me to his brother.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
That's correct. What about it? If you so?

Speaker 3 (06:30):
I think I think it'd be nothing.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
It's nothing the brother in law brother, You got it?

Speaker 4 (06:35):
What about if there's an unless to it, like he's
family unless he's a douche because if that's the case, Okay,
that's that's always the case. Yeah, But they can get
away with this one.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Do you feel like that was like a revelation there?

Speaker 4 (06:48):
No, no, But you don't have to claim it like
sometimes you have a sibling that you don't like, that's
a douche. It's like, yeah, but he's still my brother.
It's like this one's like, oh, it's not my brother.
You love him, you just don't like him. That's what
I fine. I sometimes like is better than love, because
you can love somebody you don't like. I don't think
you can like somebody that you love.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
I mean, that's why tell me.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
You can't like somebody without loving them. But you can
love someone without liking them.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
That's why I love TYR.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
The second part make sense. I'm not sure the first part.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
The first part is you can. You can, like you
have to. To me, I feel like you if you
love you like I think so, I think you have to.
I think you have to like somebody enough to love them, right,
But once you love them, you don't necessarily have to
continue to like them. Like there's certain people that I love.

(07:40):
I love them, but I don't like them, and I
don't deal with them. But I love them, but I
don't deal with them. And we're family, you know what
I mean, Like they're your family. But in some tokens,
in some respects, I don't think that you could actually can.
I guess you can like somebody without loving them, right,

(08:00):
because like is not as strong an emotion as love.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
That's like all these dates. Yeah, jeez, I'm just saying.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
I've had that.

Speaker 7 (08:09):
You love someone them. You could dislike your brother, but
you love them.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
That's right, that's correct. I like all my brothers say,
but can you love? But can you like somebody?

Speaker 5 (08:22):
I'm just trying to you can like somebody if I can't.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Yeah, So there you go.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
You can like someone you left field?

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah, okay, all siblings.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
You want to say you love Jonas?

Speaker 5 (08:33):
Yeah, I just I like my siblings.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
I don't like I know, but you chimed in randomly
like that.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
I know.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
I love my brothers.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Well, I mean I tried to get the tire rack
spot in but I couldn't get that in because we.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Were so because we're broadcasting live from the tyrack dot
tyrock dot cow will help you get there. Unmatched selection,
fast free shipping has a protection over ten thousand recommended stallars.
Tyrock dot called the way tire buying.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
See that looked like almost great, like Aaron Rodgers. Great,
yeah there it is, look at that and ten dollars.
Nice mister Jonas.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
Ten minutes later. Nice pay off the tease.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
That'll be ten more dollars.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Yeah, keep the change. Take pesos. Aaron Rodgers getting ready
for the season. You guys want to hear a little
bit of ar talk about himself.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
Train is on the move here. He was the Jets
starting quarterback.

Speaker 8 (09:20):
I've always kind of played with some on my shoulder.
You got to, you know, manufacture things from time to time.
But yeah, I mean it kind of goes back to
the prove it whould I need to prove to just
myself at this point. So, but I have a lot
of pride in my performance. So when I take the field,
I expect greatness, good and because I've done it.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
Before, it there he is, I'll rock with it.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
There. Yeah right.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
I just there's a few things that concern me about this.
The first is you're going to San Francisco, a place
that is a team that's not been kind to you
over the years, and it just so happens that you're
coming off of an injury. You can even call the
San Francisco forty nine ers his achilles heel if you will,

(10:09):
and it just so happens that that team happens to
have the player who is involved in you getting hurt
just a year ago with the New York Jets. So
can we just get through Week one, like just the
first game? Get through week one? I mean, I just
I need to see the Jets for a full season

(10:30):
with Aaron Rodgers. I don't I don't need to hear
anything else about great I just want to get through
the season. That's all I care about at this point.
Let him get through healthy and let's just see where
the chips fall. That's what I need from all of this.
I don't need anything else, No sound bites clicked, Why
not greatness? Nothing? Because I'm so concerned at this point.

(10:51):
Week one could be a disaster. It could be an
absolute disaster when it's all said and done.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Yeah, but the Chiefs last Week one last year and
they ended up winning a Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
You know, it's just the way LeVar called that game correctly. Damn.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
But go ahead, I'm I just look, if you picked
the Jets to win the AFC East, what you guys did?
You got to stand by that pick, and I support
Aaron Rodgers. Get as confident as you want, go into
Santa Clara, try and get a win on Monday Night.
But if they don't win, I'm still gonna hold my
pick and wave it up high and let everybody know

(11:29):
I'm proud to say I picked Aaron Rodgers and the Jets.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
One that's interesting. I was like spectating and listening, like
to you guys talk about Russell Wilson. I mean, what's
the difference between Russ and Aaron Rodgers today? Right now?
What's the difference.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Multiple m vps For Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
That's in the past.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Yeah, but like if you're asking what's the difference that
would be the day today because what he was when
he won ths MVPs is a little while ago. What
he is today, well, I would say his last season, like,
at no point, like even his last season at Green Bay,
you were like, oh, he's fallen off. I mean, Aaron

(12:11):
Rodgers has never had a season that looked like Russell
Wilson's two years ago. It's just the truth. I mean,
go back and think about Hacketts one and only year
as the head coach for the Broncos. Okay, it was
it was that big. I mean, I guess the biggest
difference I'd say is the guy who was a former

(12:32):
head coach with Russell Wilson is no longer there because
that went so bad that now he's calling plays with
the Jets. With Rogers, he never had to do it
outside of Green Bay, though, but now he's got to
do it and a different market on a different sure.
I mean, but I would say there was like there
was never a point in time where someone's question Aaron Rodgers'

(12:54):
ability and greatness like Russell Wilson. Even when they won
that went to back to back Super Bowl, people question,
that's fair.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Now, that is very fair, that's fair. But let me
ask you this, But he goes out with the injury.
We I think we all know, and we've talked about
it at length that this front office and the coaching
staff of this New York Jets team needs to have
a successful year or it's just going to be to

(13:25):
me what it looks like, it will be carnage. So
in my estimation, isn't he under the same kind of time?
Isn't he on the same type of time as Russ
is in in Pittsburgh? With some I'm saying, if it
doesn't work out this year, is Aaron Rodgers washed the

(13:46):
same way like a Russell Wilson would be washed? If
it doesn't go well in Pittsburgh. Is Aaron Rodgers still
desirable or is he washed too? Dude?

Speaker 3 (13:59):
I mean, first off, you'd have to define if it
doesn't work, like meaning if they don't make the playoffs,
or if they do make the playoffs but they don't
make GLAMs or whatever. I think still, I think if
Aaron Rodgers wants to start and play for a team
next year, he's gonna be in the NFL starting and playing.
If if things don't go well in Pittsburgh. I mean,
just think about the difference of what you're saying right now.

(14:21):
We've been talking about the potential justin fields replacing the
whole time. No one's talking about anyone replacing Aaron Rodgers.
And even if things didn't go well the season, unless
they can to everyone, if he wants to play next year,
he'll be able to play next year. There's someone who
will sign him to a contract for him to be
their starting I can guarantee that, but not for us,

(14:42):
not to the extent that there would be for Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
I combat at you know what, I think I was
thinking about this too, that we don't we don't have
any discussions about what Kirk Cousins is going to look
like this year coming off the injury, and that happened
two months after Rodgers or his achilles, Like, like everyone's wondering, what's.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Not as high profile as Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
Okay, but he's still starting quarterback in the league who's
had really good years.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
And he's Aaron Rodgers gives us sound bites you know
that Jonas he gets just like the one we just
listened to. Aaron Rodgers takes like trips during you know,
mandatory sessions and stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (15:22):
You don't think Kirk Cousins ever done shrooms?

Speaker 1 (15:25):
You mean to tell me.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Kirk Cousins has never gone downstairs, underground somewhere.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
I think the extent he's done is probably like vitamin
D three. Maybe officials like, Babe, I'm a little bit
off today. I didn't have my my fish oils combined
with K two and making sure I get I get
enough of that dose to make sure my body absorbed.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
I will say, look like, Q ten, did you get
the coke? Q ten?

Speaker 3 (15:53):
I need my coach Q ten please.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
By the way, I would have been all in on
what you're saying making fun of him, but I think
he got them. See he got some g in him,
so you know, And I ain't talking like probiotics or
anything like that. I'm saying when I saw him, like
throw up them them, fist them to fists with the
watches and the bracelet on. He's got that chronic. He's

(16:15):
got to look like he's got some he got He's
that man. He might bro he might have us all fool.
He might go home, he might have his wife and
his kids. He might had that like that little spot
in his grip where he goes just light it.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
God, can I I also want to apologize that.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Was me, That was me for many years and people, No,
of course not. I want to.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
I'd like to apologize to Kirk Cousins as well too.
So this story came out that apparently he's trying to
you know, coming off the injury, his age, all that stuff.
Like his diet has really been a focus this offseason. Okay,
so he's tried to cut down on gluten, but he
loves burger and apparently his move is that he gets
a burger and he peels back the bun to eat

(17:06):
its back yet but no, he doesn't want the bun.
He just wants Okay, but that you do know they
put them in lettuce and I do know that. But
and that's what I've always done. If ever I wanted,
I wanted a burger without the bund.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
So disappointed. Okay, but if you think about it, it's
actually good.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
I mean, okay, but listen, hold on, hold on, hear
me out, hold on, hear me out. If you think
about it, if you don't, if you don't have a
fork and knife and you don't want to make a mess,
it's not a bad way to go. The bun actually
serves as like a protectant to spill anything, and you
get the contents of the burger without all the gluten

(17:48):
and the carbs that come along with it.

Speaker 5 (17:50):
And I was critical at first.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
And then I peel it off. Just you take you
take it all.

Speaker 4 (17:55):
Take it off, because you can still hold the back
end of the bun while you're eating the burger.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
You just peel it back.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
You sound like a beta, that's how you sound. I'm
just saying, dude, eat your burger. It's like I went
and got a milkshake but there's actually no dairy in
it and it's actually sugar free. And then hey, look,
I'm with you.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Man, if you're gonna get a burger, get a burger burger,
I'm with you, just sacrifice.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
I'm with you when I get a paterno peach like
that's you know, that's called.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Peachy paternal Okay, it's peach ice cream and it's very good,
very creamy.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
I mean, it's just I'm just saying, peaches and cream
is what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Huh.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
I'm just saying it's not not the worst idea in
the world.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
You brought it all the way back to the brothers,
the brother in law's brother. Huh.

Speaker 6 (18:46):
Fine.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
I just disappoints me to hear that that's how you
eat a burger. Jonas.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
No, it's not how I eat it.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
It's not you said that's how you know.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
No, whenever I've done it, if I didn't want the bread,
I would get the lettuce. Have you and I have
done lettuce with with the it's called a protein burger.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
You're not alone. You're not alone on that. So I've
tried it. But now that I spark you guys, does
it it's actually pretty good?

Speaker 4 (19:13):
Now that I hear how Kirk Cousins does it, I
does I get it? That doesn't you know it's not
a terrible idea.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
I mean, look, yeah, I mean the problem is like
I've only seen my wife and you know, her friends
or my sisters or something that way. But what do
you get in that observation? I don't know why I
have we chastised from MYA? Did you just did you
just call me Janie? Is that what you say?

Speaker 1 (19:37):
You did lose the bet to become Janice?

Speaker 4 (19:40):
I mean, I am a what is that sex change coming?
By the way, I don't know. But you know what
now that you.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Threw that out like eight years ago.

Speaker 4 (19:48):
By the way, by the way, now's the time I'll
beat the next Olympic ceremonies.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
So what's amazing about that is that actually was was
that before the Atlanta super Bowl, which was the Rams Patriots.

Speaker 5 (20:02):
Whenever Romo got the big.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Con, the big contract.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
That's what I'm saying, because the debate was because before
anybody was up to somebody, if only.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
We had the drop in a file that we could
play right now.

Speaker 5 (20:13):
I think Berto took it with him.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
I think I think Berto plays it, plays it to himself.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
To make himself loved.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
Berto's got it. But before Tony Romo signed his big contract.
People were talking about the amount of money he was
going to get.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
All right. I know what's crazy about that is he
got twenty Yes, so now Jonas gonna get two of them?

Speaker 5 (20:37):
Yeah, all right, but you're still Jonas ye, So how
does that work? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
It does go to show you you say some outlandis
outlandish things on this radio show and you actually don't
fall with the heat.

Speaker 5 (20:48):
Check trying to see who's listening.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Yeah, but we've been listening. We've been rooting for you
to go ahead and pay up your bed.

Speaker 5 (20:55):
Right. Well, look, I'll h We'll tell me.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
Some people say they're going to go get there, their
change is done, and they go do it.

Speaker 5 (21:02):
Yeah, I hear you, man, That's all I mean.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
How can LeVar and Lee and I and Mark today,
how can we trust you're gonna fall through anything?

Speaker 1 (21:13):
You know? Leavar?

Speaker 3 (21:14):
Great point?

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Did you did you catch?

Speaker 6 (21:16):
Sure? Did?

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (21:18):
Good?

Speaker 5 (21:19):
I sure did?

Speaker 1 (21:21):
All right?

Speaker 4 (21:27):

Speaker 4 (22:33):
And a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming up in
a little over fifteen minutes from now, it's parlay time.
We've got some parlay action for you. We are going
to hand out here on the show about fifteen minutes
from now, from the tire Raq dot Com studios. So,
Sharon Moore, now, Braden, you are in ann Arbor getting

(22:56):
ready for the big big game between tech CITs in Michigan.
Matthew McConaughey, huge, All right.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
Matthew McConaughey, Derek Jeter, Chris Weber, all kinds of folks
popping by. We've got money bags yo performing wow.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Yeah, and it's an early star time, correct time.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
It is three hour show, three hour show, so we're
excited for it. You know, Charles Woodsy, he'll be in
town as well. You know, Tom Brady's not too far
he is. He is calling the Cleveland Browns Dallas Cowboys
game Week one in Cleveland. So maybe we'll get a
shout out for from Tom Brady or something from Tom

(23:36):
Brady as well.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
The most important thing, can we have some people that
listen to this show, that are listening right now, make
some signs to.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
Put in the back, like what do you like them
to say?

Speaker 4 (23:46):
I mean, keep it clean, just show references stuff that
only the show would get people on this.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
Sh back when we were doing our colors, like in
the constant, like what about me? Like all that. Yeah,
the pack band reference there was a lot of pac
Man references.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
Yeah, there was one. There was one.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
Somebody made a sign that said lebar Lebar was the
guy that got pac Man's girl, Remember that one.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
I mean, and that was an accurate sign.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
I mean.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Girl, But I got arrested in the end.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
Yeah, that's my freedom. That is true.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
They came and got me while I was with pac
Man's Girl, and she wasn't even worried about me. She
was just worried about letting pac Man know that, Hey,
she's one of the homies. You know, she's one of
the homegirls.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
So yeah, So basically, if you are listening to this
show and you go to ann Arbor and you want
to meet Matthew McConaughey, just make a sign about the show, please, like,
just throw something up in the background and make it visible.
We'd like a little bit of love here so we
can all try and grow the show as much as possible. Now,
I do have a question, what the hell's going on
with Sharon Moore's contract in Michigan?

Speaker 5 (24:58):
Does he not have one?

Speaker 3 (24:59):
Is that the next All of you know that that
has been the head coach, but he does not have.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
I didn't even think about it. I just figured you
have that before they do.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
You'd think that you'd want to probably have your contract
side before you started doing the job.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
I do like how Ward manual, the ad is like,
well you have it. Listen, Like, look, everything's fine. You know,
we're We've still got some stuff we're working on with
some assistant coaches as well too. It's a hold on
a second. You're two weeks into the season, right and
there's no deal ton what's going on here?

Speaker 3 (25:32):
I mean, boy, even after last like you had an
entire offseason, you had this guy, you had from more recruiting,
building out a staff, all these things. So I think
there's a few things here at play. The first is
the pending potential UH suspension impact from the NCAA as
to you know what the fallout is going to be.

(25:54):
I think there's elements of that that are still in play.
So because of that, it's probably a little bit harder
to put together a contract because you don't know the
short term what it's going to look like on the end.
And if you're the agent for Schromb or you're trying
to do your best you can to make sure your
client gets paid no matter what. If you're the school.
You're like, wait a second, if this guy gets suspended

(26:15):
for whatever period of like the time and all that, like,
we want to have the ability to be able to
recoup or you know, put someone else in there or
whatever the case is. So there's all those negotiating points
that I think that are at play. The other thing is,
and look, tell me if I'm wrong. But because of
how last year went, schrom Moore kind of got like

(26:40):
shoved into the position a little bit by Jim Harbaugh too.
It wasn't like that was the athletic director's pick necessarily.
And mind you, Ward Manual and Jim Harbaugh before last
season they were not in a good place. And in fact,
the relationship and this is reported on this isn't my opinion.

(27:00):
It wasn't really in a good place over the past
few years probably, And so what happened when Jim Harbaugh
got suspended because remember the bed of the season they
suspended him. That was their own punishment. That was internal.
That was like them saying, we are punishing Jim Harbaugh
for previous recruiting violations to start off the season. That

(27:22):
was what that was about. We are self punishing. So
remember they had each member of the staff be train
I believe Jesse Minn and Sharon More they all got
a shot to be the head coach of the game
through their non conference schedule that was really weak by
Jim Harbaugh served his self imposed suspension that was done
by Michigan. It wasn't by any outside for us. So

(27:45):
you have to think about this when he got and
then Nicole Connor Steyan's things came out and the big
ten weight in and he missed that period of time
the last three games the season. It ended up being
shren More that Jim Harbaugh decided to elevate. It wasn't
Manual's decision. And because of the success and what happens
and they win a national championship, it leads you or

(28:07):
lends you to think that maybe Jim Harbaugh puts shron
More in this position. And now the athletic directors like, well,
if I was gonna have to hire a new head
coach because Jim Harball left to take an NFL job,
probably would open some things up. Am I crazy at
thinking that maybe that's the case, and maybe that's one
of the reasons why there's a hang up here?

Speaker 4 (28:28):
Yeah, I thought Basically, if Sharon Moore, if this wasn't Michigan,
would he have gotten the job. And I think the
answers probably know. And so now it's almost like he's
in this awkward spot to where I mean, did they
really want me or is it just the guy who
left here and it just.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
By the way? What else? If they lose four games
five games this year out I don't know about out,
but I mean, LeVar, I think that'd be tough of
your fan base coming off to college football playoff appearances
and a national championship too big. I mean, you lose
to Ohio State, you don't win the Big Ten, and
you don't go to the playoff. If all three of
those things happen, it's a lot of pressure. Though.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
That is a lot of pressure, and I think the
table was set for that pressure for Sharon Moore because
he was a coach in the absence of Horrorball last season,
so you can't say, well, it's not Horrorball's team, which
it isn't anymore. But with that being said, Sharon Moore

(29:31):
showed that he had the ability to lead Michigan to
wins in some of their biggest games of the year
without Horrorball being there. Now, what that looks like now
this year, I don't know. And for what it's worth
to expect a new coach to have the level of
accomplishment and achievement as the guy before them, that's a

(29:55):
hard one. But you know, guys like Ryan Day were
able to do it. He just can't beat Michigan, you
know what I mean. But lately you know, and and
and for what it's worth, but he did come in
and replace Urban in a way where you know, he won.
He won every other game. He just didn't win that game.

(30:16):
So what Sharon Moore does now? I mean, it's it's
curious to me to think that he doesn't have a contract,
and it ultimately says to me that he's aware of
what's going on. Right, you have to assume whatever the
reason is for him not having a contract, he's aware
of it in a way where it's like, hey, I'm

(30:39):
I gotta be okay with that. Like say, for instance,
something else comes out and it does end up being
like what they did with Harball and it's like a
four year suspension. I mean, maybe maybe the idea of
all of this is is that they're waiting until this
these investigations, which this is totally me speculating. I'm just

(31:00):
trying to put it together because I've never heard of
something like this. Maybe they're just saying, look, Sharon, we
can't do a long term deal with you until this
investigation finishes. Because obviously his name did come up and
he I mean he was a part of something, right,

(31:21):
Like did he did he get a suspension or something
that he was a part of.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
Yeah, there's I forget the degree that he was accused of.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Or and is that still open? Is that's still going?

Speaker 3 (31:34):
Yeah, I believe that is still kind of out there,
by the way that God January sixth was when Shroon
Morris announces the Michigan said, that's.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
That's a long ass time ago.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
Mate, eight months, Broos, you don't have a contract?

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Nine you got it? But we're doing here, Like, I
just don't know how you go through a season without
a contract. So so what are they paying him? Did
they agree read what they're going to pay him?

Speaker 3 (32:01):
Like that's the thing is like are they paying him
what they were was when he was offensive coordinator?

Speaker 4 (32:06):
Right?

Speaker 3 (32:06):
I mean he probably was still under contract through that.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
I mean, I don't feel like coming into work today.
You know what I mean, like, I don't know what
I have to do with the defense today. When I
feel like coming, you know, like I'll find my way
to the to the hotel. I don't do that, La dang,
you want to go there? God dang.

Speaker 5 (32:29):
I mean next time, just use the radio if you
want to say that.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
I mean, you know what speaking of speaking of what
you just did, because man, that was pretty low down. Uh,
you could have hit me on my Rappid radio because
it is the official communication device of Fox Sports Radio

Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific.

Speaker 4 (33:34):
Two pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here coming
up top of next hour a little over ten minutes
from now. Interesting comments from somebody following last night it's
a game in the NFL. You will hear those again
little over ten minutes from now. By the way, our
friends of DraftKings wants you to know that you can
score big with DraftKings Sportsbook, the best place to bet touchdowns.

(33:57):
Download the DraftKings Sportsbook app and you code two pros.
That's code two pros for new customers to get two
hundred and fifty dollars in bonus bets when you bet
just five bucks and get one month of NFL plus
premium on us only on DraftKings. The crown is yours,
all right. So this is a parlay party, first time
we've done it on the show. It is the debut, now,

(34:19):
LeVar Arrington. You like the Eagles tonight to win outright, correct?

Speaker 1 (34:25):
That's on the money line, all right. So you're taking Cubans,
stay in line. I'm gonna take Philly and they will
cover the two.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
So we're going to Brazil first. Brady Quinn, who do
you like on the money line this weekend?

Speaker 3 (34:34):
I like Cleveland, that's right, Tom Brady's first game calling
it for Fox. But Cleveland hosting the Dallas Cowboys. My
money's on Cleveland winning.

Speaker 4 (34:44):
All right, Well, somebody here on this show's got to
have some guts, so I'll make the gutsy call. I'm
gonna take the Bengals to beat the Patriots outright on
the phone, You.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Mean the largest spread of the entire points? What are
you talking about?

Speaker 1 (34:56):
Like that?

Speaker 3 (34:57):
That's gonna be terrible odds?

Speaker 4 (34:59):
Was that like?

Speaker 3 (34:59):
Minus?

Speaker 4 (35:00):
The best part about a parlay party is this, though.
When you take the Browns on the money line from
Brady Quinn, when you take the Eagles on the money
line from LeVar Arrington, and you take the Bengals on
the money line from myself, you put that together, you
get yourself a little three team parlay on DraftKings. And
right now, the payout for all of those games, and

(35:23):
all those teams are favored, even the Bengals significantly. The
payout right now plus two eighty three. So if all
those three games line up the way that we are
predicting them on the money line. You just need them
to win outright. One hundred dollars will win you two
hundred three dollars.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
No one picked New Orleans over Carolina, I mean they
No one picked Buffalo over Arizona, even though you're high
on them. And the funniest spread to me, and I've
seen this number between four and a half three and
a half is Detroit giving that many points to the Rams.
I think the Rams are a good football team.

Speaker 4 (35:56):
And all those options are available on DraftKings. So if
you want to go and have yourself a parlay party,
that is the place to go.

Speaker 5 (36:05):
So you heard it from us.

Speaker 4 (36:07):
Brown's on the money line, Eagles on the money line,
Bangles on the money line. You have all those three
teams went outright, and it's a nice little payout of
plus two to eighty three courtesy of our friends at
were Brady DraftKings.

Speaker 5 (36:20):
That's right,
