(01:01):
I'll say this, man, when when the cow when the cow?
When the Cowboys lose, they get the doors blown off them.
And that game was not close yesterday. And I don't
know if it's more of a product of the Cowboys

(01:22):
having a letdown or the New Orleans Saints were way
better than we.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Can they can. I ask this question, Yeah, does how
you lose matter? Yes? Does it or does it only
matter for a team like Dallas because so much of
what they are is the perception of what they are truth?

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yes, and it's probably better for business if they get
blown out. Is it from a national standpoint? Yeah, Well,
you're on one side of the fence of the other.
There's a lot of haters out there, and there's a
lot of people that that root for the Cowboys. You're
gonna feed some food group there, or feed one part
of it.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
So I guess I just I look at first off,
to me, this game was more about the Saints than
it was about the Cowboys. And it's more about the
fact that this entire offseason, there's your offseason super Bowl champs.
Whoever you want to chalk that up to. A lot
of teams made some moves and build up the roster.
I think Atlanta was probably the team that I came

(02:20):
away with thinking that about because of the Cousins deal.
They go get the future quarterback and Michael Pennix and
they're still able to get some other players too. But
we tend to forget sometimes like the NFL is not
one in the offseason. All the hype surrounding some of
those teams doesn't matter. The Saints were like the least
hype team of any in the NFL, and they've so

(02:44):
far blown the doors off now of two opponents. Granted
Carolina week one, you're saying, okay, but now Dallas and
eliminating Micah Parsons from really having much of an impact whatsoever.
I don't know that it can be overstated the difference
in what Clint Kubiak has brought to this offense and

(03:04):
sparking creativity and big playability with what they have. I
think he's a perfect fit bringing more of the outside
zone running scheme to Alvin Kamara, who's a great fit
for them, but also just Shaheed and all the other
pieces they have finding ways of putting them in positions
to succeed. So I want to give a big, big
shout out and credit to Clint Kubiak for the job

(03:26):
he's done, because that feels like the biggest difference. But
I also wonder, in this small sample size, you know
how much of it had to do with the fact
that you know he's playing a defense in Mike Zimmer,
who he knows the scheme very well. He was in
Minnesota last couple of years. Mike Zimmer was there as
the head coach. You know, his dad had coached with

(03:46):
Mike Zimmer, Gary Kubiak. So there's a lot of familiarity
I think with that scheme. So I wonder if it
was that, you know, week one, I wonder iful just
stay how bad's Carolina? But part of me wants to think,
like this thing's going to last the rest of the season.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Gause.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
This has been. This has been the Saints team that,
like we said, going into the season last year, they're
the most talented roster by fog Dennessee South. They were,
they were the betting favorites by wide margin, and they
largely underproduced. Now, if you can get this roster play
up to their capabilities, here they are and so it's
pretty incredible to watch what's happened so far this season.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
It's Alvin Kamara. The offense goes through Alvin Kamara. If
Alvin Kamara is dowed in, locked in and is playing well,
this New Orleans offense has the opportunity and the ability
to play off of what he does best, which is
kind of everything. You know, he's he's at one point,

(04:43):
I mean, if we recall correctly, at one point it
was him and what was it Mike Williams, who is
the who is the receiver? That was like it was
him and DeVante Adams that were the two top receivers
and in the league. I think it is what Mike
wasn't Mike well Thomas, Michael Thomas, Michael Thomas, but Alvin
Kamara was also in the conversation of best running backs

(05:07):
in the league. And for what it's worth, if my
memory serves me correctly, he was that versatile, multi dimensional
back that we're talking about and looking at how cmac
is looked at and what he brings to the table,
like just a very versatile player. If he if he
continues to stay healthy and he continues to play the

(05:28):
way that he plays, it's going to And I said
that this is what would make the difference for green Bay.
Even though green Bay won, I would say that losing
that that type of player that Aaron Aaron Williams, Aaron
Aaron Jones, Aaron Jones, what would impact them because I
felt like their offense went through Aaron Jones. This offense

(05:51):
goes through Alvin Kamara, and so as long as he
can take and keep that pressure off a CAR and
keep it off of those those receivers and give them,
you know, the ability and the opportunities for Car to
find and the offense coordinators to find the matchups that
work best, this could be a very very dangerous team.

(06:12):
I don't know that I'd said they would win the South.
I think I did. I think I had them win
in the South, But in my mind, I just felt
like coming into the year, their defense has generally always
been pretty stout and sturdy. They look to be the
part this year as well. But it was kind of
the question surrounding CAR, what is the offense? What exactly

(06:37):
are they going to bring to the table to actually
help what their defense does? And so far, I think
that you can see a balance and seeing that the
type of carries or the type of you know, even
you know, I guess giving the ball to him. I
don't think he got the ball twice in the past,
But Alvin Kamara is the key. If he goes down,

(07:01):
it's like losing your quarterback.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
If you ask if there were two teams I didn't
have the balls to think highly of on the show,
and Sam was Arizona New Orleans for the two.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
That's not true. You've talked up Arizona.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Well, I talked up Arizona.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
I know that.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
I know I talked up Arizona and New Orleans, both
of them. But you know, well, I think I just
I don't know about you know, copied off me. I
think you copied off me, or I went I went
opposite of you, because that's usually you know, the advice
that for getting.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
I think, to Brady's point, like this is the Saints
team we thought we were going to get last year,
and that was so frustrating about watching.

Speaker 6 (07:35):
Him last year. It's like, what's happening here?

Speaker 4 (07:37):
They're and Alvin last year, Maybe he just wasn't invested
in though, that's what I'm saying. I don't I don't
know if he stays locked in and out of elevators
and out of elevators. Yeah, we're gonna be all right. Yeah,
everything's gonna be fine. You gotta believe they're going to
be all right. Yeah, they're gonna be fine.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
They are going to be tested over the next four games.
They've got the Eagles. That's a long season, though.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
At the Falcon, locked in and he gets distracted, You're
going to see the effects of it.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
I think Clint Kubiak will find a way of getting
production out of him. I mean that's the other thing too,
when you see you know what they have behind him, Like,
it's not like Jamal Williams isn't a capable running back.
He is. They mix in Taysom Hill from time to
time too. So that's the other part of this is
even if even if Albca Kamara is not there, they
still have some pieces to make this thing go.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I don't think I'm gonna go hard. No, I know
you're gonna stand on the stand on it. Kamara has
been there and their offensive struggled. And the difference is
who's calling the plays now because he's putting on what
you're there, but he is, he's got to stay locked in.
If he stayed down, then if he's a down in
the way he needs to do like he was in

(08:49):
yesterday's game, it's going to make Carr that much better.
It's going to make their receivers that much better. It's
going to make this offense that much better. I mean,
Carr was he was dealing. If you asked me, he
was dealing and and I think part of that that
confidence comes from what Alvin Kamara gives you on the ground.
There's only there's literally when he's playing at his top

(09:11):
of his game. And and to the credit again, like
you said, for the OC, he's got to have that
confidence as to him playing that way. He's got to
have the confidence to to want to deliver those types
of performances. If he does, it's going to I mean,
it's it's They're going to be a pretty formidable team.

(09:31):
I know, you're only a handful of guys that can
play like like how Alvin Kamara plays.

Speaker 6 (09:35):
So Brady was reaching out to me earlier.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
He was like, hey, man, do you have like anything
you like in Knox locks for this upcoming week in
week three? And so so let me go ahead and
just get this because Brady was asking this earlier. U
Cowboys plus Cowboys plus one at home against the Ravens.
Book it they always bounce back and respawn after a
game like this.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
So Baltimore is going to go on three.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
The Raves are going to spank Dallas.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Wow, book that Dallas is going to respond plus one
getting a book standing on it taking his side. Book
why do these. I thought we talked about the strategy
was just better against Carolina. I mean, they're gonna win
a few.

Speaker 7 (10:18):
Games at some point there.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
But I hear that in practice, you know those practice.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Somebody would all right, let let let me get a
quarterback's opinion on somebody who can read and discuss the
position as well as.

Speaker 6 (10:37):
Anybody on radio and TV.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
All right, Brady, how much of it is on Bryce
Young and how much of it is on the awful
organization that he's a part of.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Okay, it's not so much the organization. I mean the
offense as a whole is pretty awful right now, and
it starts with the offensive line. And it's more important
for him to have protection more so than anyone else
because he's small. I mean, he's not gonna be able
to see. He's got to find windows at times. So
if you get any penetration, or you get guys who
are getting push in the pocket, it makes his job

(11:11):
even more difficult. So it starts to meet with one.
The organization is bad, whether you or not, whether or
not you want to point to David Tepper as the
singular reason, they'll continue to be bad, it is what
it is. But the rest of this roster is not

(11:31):
helping out Bryce Young. I mean, they are so far
away from being competitive in the NFL. It's tough. Now
he's making some plays too, that I think are making
other people who believe in him start to lose a
little bit of hope. You know, plays that he didn't
make back when he was in college, plays that you
kind of wrote off last year's rookie mistakes. Now in
year two you're saying, I don't know many maybe this

(11:56):
isn't going in the right.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Direction, missing throws.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
It throws, it's well, he's got a lot of guys
flying at them, so it's like, yeah, I just I
think that's the tough part is when you look at
the difference in the NFL and the and the college
football game. They're two different games, and he's a prime
example of that as far as his ability to win
a Heisman play as well as he did during his

(12:21):
time in Alabama. And you can even shock up and say, well,
Alabama's superior to their opponents. Not really not when he
was there. Like you go back to the teams he
was on, those were not some of the best versions
of those Alabama teams. They had some stars on them.
Him and Will Anderson were absolute stars, and then some other
really good players, but we're not talking about the same

(12:41):
type of dominant teams and wide receivers, et cetera. When
Bryce Young was starting for him, it was more of
the Bryce Young show. So unfortunately, he's now in a
position where it is really really hard to be the
type of player that can lift everyone up else out
around you. And I think he's the type of quarterback
needs a lot more help and and he's not getting

(13:02):
it by any means right now.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Let me ask you a question. Had the roles been
reversed and c J. Stroud ends up in Carolina and
Bryce Young ends up in the Texans, does it play
out the same way similar?

Speaker 4 (13:15):
I think I don't think similar.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
I just think they're both bad.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
You're saying Carolina and Bryce are both bad.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
I'm saying Carolina would be bad.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
That bad game is so much built for the NFL.
I mean, I was just watching him yesterday. He is
so lethally accurate from the pocket, and his sense of
timing and anticipation everything the way he sees the field
and sees the game. I'm not willing to say that
because I do think he would give Carolina lyft. Now

(13:59):
he's struggle too because it's just not as good of
a team around him. But I don't know. He plays
the game different than Bryce does and he would still
be good, you think. I think we would still talk
about c j. A in a positive light, even on
that roster. I think he's that good.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Dang.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
See, I think they still stink. And then when you stink,
you what are you doing right there?

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Man?

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Why your hand like that just on my finger? All right?
Making your stuff together?

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Man?

Speaker 1 (14:30):
You show some tendencies when you're like and you're like
you know your thought process, and it's like involunteer it
was like this bro a hand gazing. I was talking
to you.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
All the way. He was old, Yeah, that was you
showed it sharp.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
You got problem? No be making a point by the
way you damn all right, Well I don't even care.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
To take you.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Yeah, just like and by the way, David Tepper is
still having these weekly meetings with the head coach, so
I guess it's like every Tuesday. Dave Canals think his
last meeting.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
He's probably saying, we need to throw the ball down
the field. I don't think they attempted a ball over
twenty yards this past week. Geez, they're bad.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
I bet you he's sitting there sat. Are there any
quarterbacks out there that we can get a hold of.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
By the way, there's already fans at Panthers games wearing
paper backs, yes, which is kind of a nice little throwback.
You know, the old paperback. Oh, you know all about that.
You can get two tickets for like two bucks there
or something.

Speaker 6 (15:46):
Oh, it's great.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Those are going pretty cheap.

Speaker 6 (15:48):
Yeah, it is not not great for Bryce Shung and company.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
But Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here on

in the NFL. We'll explain right here on FSR.

Speaker 8 (16:42):

on YouTube, but definitely join us. Listen to over Promised

Speaker 3 (17:22):
Two pros and a cup of Joe here on Fox
Sports Radio. By the way, apologies, Eddie, I didn't right
back to you on that text. You sentence, Oh that's FC,
so I'm sorry. I forgot to write you back. Yeah,
that's it.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
Gets so brand new when he's not here, Jonas, this
is how he slides in talking about the UFC right now.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Oh no, it just was a pretty nasty cut. So
I should have responded. I've never seen anything like that.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
I saw something grotesque and I thought of you, Jonas.
That was not great.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
All right, So we are going to have an FSRIR
coming up here. We're going to report any issues, injuries,
ailments from a long weekend for the crew here on
the show. But ladies and gentlemen, the Browns are back.

Speaker 9 (18:03):
Yeah, and Browns are back, and Brady super Bowl Pig
is alive and well right if you don't believe so,
just listen to the adversity and Deshaun Watson having to
overcome that adversity in a big win at Trevor Bankfield
or whatever they're calling it now in Jacksonville.

Speaker 10 (18:19):
Kevin always preach is always the next play whatever happened
to previous play that played before. You know, we can't
focus on that. You know, whatever the situation is on
that play that is about to get snapped, you know,
that's what we got to lock in on it. And
I think, you know, overall, we did a heck of
a job of focusing on that play and not giving
up and planning to the final whistle.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
They are back, They're so back, and Jacksonville is not
very good. That is a I don't know how this
is going to end up for Doug Peterson and company,
but it feels like something's a little off there.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
I don't think Cleveland's very good. She thinks two teams
that aren't very good that we're playing again. Cleveland's defense
dope elite, the Cleveland's team.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
Not so much. Not my estimation. So there's two teams,
two bad teams.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
That went at it yesterday and one team was worse
than the other worst team.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
That's how I look at it. I mean, well, I'll
put it this way. The Browns, if they can figure
things out offensively, are going to be a tough team
to stop. And it was a dramatically different performance I
thought from their defense from week one to week two.
If you just look at you know, the stats, you'll
be able to see that. But I think also just

(19:33):
from the dominance of what is the best part of
their defense, that's upfront. I thought they made Jacksonville's offensive
line that you know, they've really tried to improve for
Trevor Lawrence, look below average, and I think they're better
than that. I'm not sure what's going on with the
offensive woes, and in Jacksonville, it's hard to put exactly,

(19:57):
you know, or touch on exactly what it is. Everyone's
to put it on Trevor Lawrence. I think he's a
pretty damn good quarterback. I'm not sure it's all on him.
He makes his mistakes, but there is something off about
this Jacksonville Jaguars team. It feels like they struggle more
defensively than anything else. But I would say upfront in

(20:18):
the trenches in particular on offense, that's where this game
got tilted, at least in the favor of Cleveland. So
hats off to the defense rebounding after getting blown out
by Dallas in Week one. But also this could be
a team that's kind of scary because you don't need
to be playing your best football now. He may be
playing November December as you head in the playoffs, and

(20:39):
I think they've got the potential to do that. Whether
or not they do it would be a different story.
I think. The other tougher part about the conversation is
if Jacksonville doesn't start winning November, December may look a
lot different for Doug Peterson's schedule if things don't.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Turn around here. Oh no, like some free time on
his schedule.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
Yeah. Yeah, though, Jacksonville is actually a nice place to
go vacation, So I golf there, you know, like Amelia
Island or something like that. Maybe a little more golf.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Yeah, the TGA Tour golf course there isn't there. I
felt like there was.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
I could.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
I mean, I'm not into golf, so I don't know,
but I know I stayed at a resort that was
like right there at it.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
Or something to that effect before, not.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
To use the golf course, of course, just because it
was a nice hotel.

Speaker 4 (21:30):
Anyway.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Yeah, I listen, I'm not high on Cleveland. I've not
started high on him. Again. I'm a big Miles Garrett fan,
love his game. I just don't I'm not a believer
in Watson at the quarterback's position. I don't feel like
I learned anything from them that would lead me to
to look at them differently after this this weekend and

(21:57):
Jacksonville was below that, Like they just did not they
didn't deliver. Trevor Lawrence didn't deliver. I mean, it's his
numbers weren't horribly bad. I mean it's kind of on par.
I think, you know, two twenty on on the day
is not that's not a bad day after office.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
I mean, the stadium protected, the stadium is named after him.
He's done enough, Okay.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
Yeah, I mean that's that's it's Trevor Bank Stadium.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
There's Trevor Banks Stadium.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
I mean, you know, I just think that that's a
that is a ship that is taking on water right now,
the Jacksonville jaguarship. And as far as Cleveland I look
right now, the one thing that I could say that
maybe gives them a little bit of hope and you

(22:45):
can sit here and say, there's a lot more season left.
Is that what Pittsburgh right now seems to be the
best team in the or the AFC North, which is
crazy crazy.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
Right there's the second place in the NFC North. So
sick of it.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
So I mean that's that's all right, you know you're
falling off. I don't you know, I don't know. I
don't know what to tell you, guys.

Speaker 6 (23:09):
I just I'm tired.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
The second in the North, second in the a f C. Right, well, second,
name the first thing? The Cleveland's second AFC North. Pittsburghs
obviously first division. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought you
said that Pittsburgh was second and you but no, no, Cleveland, Cleveland,
Yeah that one. Think about that.

Speaker 4 (23:27):
So Cleveland's second.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
With the way they're playing at one and one, Baltimore
is not a bad team, but they're only two. And
then you have Cincinnati and that's not a bad team,
which if we.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
Had to rank losses, I think we'd all agree Cincinnati's
lost to New England puts them at fourth, even though
they have and two record. It's Baltimore, see Baltimore. Baltimore
should be four. I think New englcause they blew a lead.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
It's kind of the raider better than what people think.
I think Jacoby Brissett is not the long term answer,
but I think he gives them more of an opportunity
to win them.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
Okay, Baltimore. Previously Baltimore lost in the final moments to Casey,
much like Cincinnati.

Speaker 6 (24:15):
And Baltimore lost to the Raiders.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Yeah, which is to me, they shouldn't have lost that one,
not at home.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
Yeah, but they at least though I mean, I mean.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
We're gonna an awful week one, okay, but New England
that's a real powerhouse.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
You know.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
They took Seattle to overtime. Like I'm gonna argue for
the Bengals here, they're much better oh and two team
than Baltimore is easily.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
Nope, I don't agree with that.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
You want to hear Trevor Lawrence explain and answer questions
about what's going on with the offense. Aaron Jacksonville probably
would have been better to start off the segment with this.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
Sure, Yeah, that's fine.

Speaker 9 (24:53):
Here we are, Trevor House thunder you by the last
six offensive performance in the last six quarters.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
Yeah, I mean we still also, I don't pretty shocked,
you know, obviously, and we had a great off season,
great training camp, and we gotta figured out.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
I mean, I really do love that when you say
sound for the end of the segment, I feel like
it's a great radio foot.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
So we got we got three minutes left, Come on,
you get this, let's go. I mean, I think we've
already established that.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
We agree, travel we agree, we agree with what we're
seeing the last six quarters. Yeah, I agree with you.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
All right?

Speaker 6 (25:28):
So then, uh, how on the flip side of things?

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Can it turn around? Can turn around? It's hard to
turn around? And you still have holes in your offensive line.
And that's where I feel like this team's at.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Yeah, somebody who doesn't have a lot of holes in
them right now?

Speaker 6 (25:43):
Baker Mayfield in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Technically he does have a few holes.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
We're sitting here, I mean, mouth is well, we're sitting
here talking about you know, Holy old form Jesus.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
I'm just saying.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
You know, former number one pick, Trevor Lawrence overall pick,
You've got a warmer number one overall picking Baker Mayfield.
And you see him the way he's playing, and you
see the way the Browns offense looks, and meanwhile Baker
is dealing, dealing, And I'm ready to say, right here
and now, I was wrong about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
falling off this year.

Speaker 6 (26:15):
I assumed last year was a fluke.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
They got something going with Baker Mayfield, and that team
is also a threat, much like New Orleans went South.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Tell you that that was a legit win that they
got against the lines and they had to go in
there and get it.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
It's a legit win.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
Man.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
I just think we're underestimating connuity. You know, connuity on
a roster, guys building chemistry together. You know, we saw
Baker Mayfield last year have a solid year for them,
and instead of letting him go, they signed him back.
They signed Mike Evans back, They signed Tristan Wurst to
a deal. I mean, they've they were able to retain
what they feel like are the building blocks and the
cornerstones of this this roster. And there's something to be

(26:53):
said for that. And I look, the other unsung hero
is probably Liam Cohen, you know, stepping in for Dave Canall,
who love to take the Carolina Panthers head coaching job.
His creativity, him being on a had some sparks in
the offense too. There's all those pieces that to me
have have kind of provided a lot of help.

Speaker 7 (27:10):
HM.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Well, I'll say this, bro, what is wrong with what
is wrong with you? I don't understand you do I
don't understand you. You're so confusing what do you mean
I'm sitting here listening to and get some amazing analysis
and you're sitting here asking me like I'm on fashion novo.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Anyway, listen all, I'm gonna say, what is wrong?

Speaker 4 (27:41):
If I take us a break? What do you mean?
I think?

Speaker 1 (27:44):
I think you gave us what outstanding analysis there. I
think Jacksonville is a team that is on the blink,
Like there's no reason to think that they're going to
be good. They're on the blink. I don't see how
the blink of the brink, the blink, you know, you
know how like the blinking light goes on, it goes
off for it goes really bad. Yeah, the blink and

(28:09):
the brink. I guess you could say of no return.

Speaker 4 (28:12):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
I don't see them turning it around. I don't see
there being this like magnificent turn of events or swaying
of of anything that would would indicate that they're going
to be anything but what they are. So to me,
that's it's wait and see. Like I said to me,
that's two teams. You look at and you say it's

(28:35):
two teams. Does Cleveland have the potential?

Speaker 4 (28:38):
Short?

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Cleveland has the potential. But does But does Jacksonville? I
don't see it that way.

Speaker 3 (28:46):

Big New Kickoff. Nope, just war it, It says wart
like a.

Speaker 6 (30:14):
Grown man just standing up there, bum, ankle and all, and.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
Nobody knew nothing. Nobody knew a damn thing there in Madison.
How was the travel back and forth though with the
with the ankle? Swallow it all?

Speaker 6 (30:27):
Anymore?

Speaker 4 (30:29):
Good talk? Where you at? Where yah? Where you at?
Young player?

Speaker 9 (30:37):
Yeah?

All right, we got some technical difficulties or what do
we Okay, so we we will effort that anybody else
got something here, anybody wanna got it? Got a gripe
or a complaint or an issue from the long weekend.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
I mean, we can't let Lee go because he has
to say that for leftovers?

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Right, Well, yeah, does that work?

Speaker 1 (31:02):
Lee?

Speaker 4 (31:02):
Are you still?

Speaker 6 (31:04):
Are you still hung up?

Speaker 4 (31:05):
Or what?

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (31:06):
I blame Lorena. It's her fault.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
Wow, what I'm throwing.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
You under the bus.

Speaker 11 (31:11):
I normally, you know, I normally kind of take it
easy at the second half of the day on Sunday,
and then Lorena hit me up, said, hey, we're going
over to.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
Check on you.

Speaker 6 (31:21):
Jonas over the city, walk over the city.

Speaker 4 (31:24):
Happened?

Speaker 2 (31:26):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (31:26):
NBC bar and grill.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
What say that again?

Speaker 4 (31:30):
NBC Bar and grill. Okay, we got it out.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
Yeah, sorry, it's the bar and grill.

Speaker 6 (31:35):
I mean she was she forcing you to yeah, to partake?

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Yeah, okay, she was tang wrong?

Speaker 11 (31:42):
Right?

Speaker 6 (31:42):
How many drinks did I have in the amount of time?

Speaker 4 (31:45):
You had three?

Speaker 1 (31:45):
Lee? Had three?

Speaker 4 (31:47):
No, that's not what I said.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Oh no, she was ordering his third drink.

Speaker 6 (31:52):
I'm like, I'm still sipping on my first one.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
To take me out, I'm gonna, you know, I'm gonna
have three drinks. That's what's gonna happen.

Speaker 6 (31:58):
Correct, and all the onion rings send all the chicken wings?

Speaker 4 (32:01):
Tang.

Speaker 11 (32:01):
Well, I needed to you know, yeah, I needed to
coat the stomach. Did to make sure I was good
to go now I felt good. I felt good. Then
I don't feel great now of course you don't. There
he is a sorry guys.

Speaker 6 (32:20):
So, uh, how did the you know?

Speaker 3 (32:21):
I was giving you a compliment because you were on
the set of Big New and.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
I didn't see a walking boot. Just wore it. Just
dealt with you, yep, yep, I actually I would. My
co hosts were kind enough on Friday to let me
avoid some of our typical Friday applications. And I just
went back to the hotel and I ice that thing,
and I stemmed that thing, and I did everything that

(32:46):
I think we're accustomed to doing when you've played for
a while and have injuries. So did all that, and
then I took a bunch of anti inflammatories of some
pain killers.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
And so did you take the boot off with the pancake? H?

Speaker 4 (33:01):
Yeah? Yeah, I figure so. Honestly, though, the boot has
become detrimental to my back, and I'm more concerned about
my back having issues that.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
I am my ankle here back in your head? Yeah yeah, yeah,
I've been there, ye will.

Speaker 6 (33:17):
What is the m So you haven't gotten the imaging
done yet?

Speaker 4 (33:21):
Correct? Because I know it's not broken, but that's the
extent the MRI should be let on this week.

Speaker 6 (33:25):
All right, if you had to guess, what do you
think it is?

Speaker 4 (33:28):
I have no idea, dude, I'm not I'm not a doctor,
not an expert in ankles and all that, So no idea.
It doesn't feel any better or is it just h
I mean, there's still a pretty good amount of swelling.
But it's again, as I said before, it's not like
I'm just on the IR. It's like also my family
because I can't not be acted. I have four kids,

(33:52):
and that's you know, it's tough as it is, running
around trying to make sure everyone's good. So it's just
it's hard to get the swelling down, so it's hard
to get it to feel much better, but it I
get it definitely feels better today, almost a week after
it was initially injured than what it felt like obviously

(34:13):
two days after.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
I mean, I wouldn't know anything, you know, you just
watch just just fighting through the pain.

Speaker 4 (34:20):
I was.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
You do know they're sitting down they weren't, they were
standing up.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
Yeah, you don't watch, but I do watch. I watch.
I missed that all the time. Yeah not all the time.
Do that when I was talking to Offset. Yeah I
missed it. Yeah, they were there.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Ron Daye was there, Melvin Gordon.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
Was there, Melvin go.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
Yeah, this time, I didn't realize how much bigger Melvin
Gordon was in.

Speaker 4 (34:49):
Ron Daye. Melvin Gordgon just a big dude and John
that's a big back man.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
Ron Dayne was a big dude. At one point.

Speaker 4 (34:58):
He was thick. Yeah. Yeah, it's like he's not very tall.
You saw if you saw Rod Dan next.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
To Melvin Gordon, You're like, day yeah, but Melvin is slim, right,
not really.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
No, it's kind of jacked. He's pretty jacked. Yeah, he's
kind of That's what I'm saying. Like when you see
the two next to each.

Speaker 6 (35:16):
Other, you're like, oh, okay, well, you know the JK.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Dobbins is the first Chargers back to have back to
back one hundred yard games since Melvin Gordon in like
twenty sixteen. It's a long ass time. And so there
he was in Madison, Wisconsin. I was at a baptismal
party for.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
My brother in law with their daughter.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
They had a baptismal party and showed up there and
I'm pretty sure I was the only one sober like
everybody got absolutely annihilated, I mean annihilated, and it just
I'm wondering, is that the appropriate behavior following of baptism,
because why not.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
You're supposed to celebrate, that's the celebration of life.

Speaker 6 (36:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (36:01):
It just feels like, you know, kind of a special
holy day. And I mean it seems like you're judging well.
I mean, listen, you know they're walking around.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
It's turned the water into wine.

Speaker 6 (36:10):
Yeah, but did he turn it into tequila on the
dance floor.

Speaker 4 (36:13):
I mean, we weren't there. We don't know.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
There was like a mariachi or maybe it's called bonda,
I don't know, whatever they're called. They were on stage.
There must have been twenty of these guys, all of
them annihilated. All like the band was drinking, like they
were drinking in the van before they got up on stage.

Speaker 6 (36:30):
Like everybody there at the party was boozing, like they
were boozing hard.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
And what was I doing over in the little playground
hanging out with my son.

Speaker 6 (36:40):
Who just wanted to throw the football around?

Speaker 4 (36:42):
What a good day like that? What a good dad? Well,
such a good guy.

Speaker 6 (36:46):
The only place, the only place they were speaking English.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
It's a good guy. I hate him.

Speaker 6 (36:54):
What's wrong with you?

Speaker 4 (36:56):
You ain't wrong, though, wrong.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
Yeah, So that was that was a fun little but
they were kicking around a bunch of dirts, so I
had to kind of clear out the lungs and the
nostrils afterwards because it was kind of a kind of
a dirty scene.

Speaker 6 (37:08):
But that's that's what I got. That was my big
Neon kickoff for the weekend. But you got var nothing,
You got nothing.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
I got nothing. I had a pretty relatively clean weekend. Man,
chill was good.

Speaker 4 (37:23):
No no fun stories, fun stories no, nope, all right, nope,
I'll have some for you this weekend though. Sweet.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
Yeah, hey, back to stay college.

Speaker 4 (37:36):
And so I'm talking about Yeah,
