it is a football recap Monday. Here on the show,
we open up talking about the beating that the Baltimore
(01:09):
Ravens gave the Buffalo Bills last night. Uh, still trying
to figure out how Derrick Henry is still out running everybody.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
They're a problem, man, They are a problem. Hill is
a problem. Derek Henry is a problem. Lamar Jackson's a problem.
Their problem.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
I gotta tell you, I gotta tell you you.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Hey, bruh, he looks scary and all black. I ain't
gonna lie to you, Derek Henry. I can't even imagine,
like I could. I guess I could figure if you're
a big dude, you try to try your hand with him.
But if I'm linebacker and back safety corner and I
see that dude coming around the corner dog and that
(01:52):
that uniform, I don't know. Man, I'm gonna have to
think twice about that one.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
All business decision. It could be a bit if you
think about it outside of like ten minutes of football
versus the Raiders. After last night, we'd probably be calling
the Ravens the best team in the NFL. Yeah, had
they not dropped that game to Las Vegas, which is
still a head scratcher. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I mean, look, I didn't think they were going to
make the playoffs this year. I'd like to have that
one back.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah you didn't. That's all right. I think the Browns
can go to Super Bowl. So there's there's that.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Hey, my Bengals are back though. That was huge yesterday.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Just a dominant that was let Dulton was let him in.
I'm aware back in.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
I'm aware that was got a little dicey there. But
Derrick Henry obviously, you know a guy who has got
all the college credentials to go along with the NFL
credentials Alabama Crimson titlum and that Alabama was in a
phenomenal game over the weekend against Georgia. I was just
(02:55):
under the impression I was listening to actually Todd Fermer
was talking about this that when Alabama jumped out to
the big lead, that there were some people who went
on and money line bet the Georgia Bulldogs and some
got it at like twenty two to one. And you
can't help but think to see the way that game
went down to the wire and the way that it
(03:16):
ended on that pick in the end zone. If there's
not some people that are just throwing stuff thinking I
could have gotten really paid a lot of money had
they all.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
I can tell you the meat Wagon missed out on
it because he picked Georgia before the game, which they
were laying too. I believe in Tuscaloosa. That was about
where it settled on, depending on the book. And once
they got down big, I go, dude, this is where
you hammer the live line. What is the spread now?
And I think at that point it was it was
(03:46):
pretty significant, Like I want to say, it was still
like plus. It was like Georgia plus twenty three and
a half or something big, maybe even twenty one and
a half. And it's like I was like, trust me, dude,
they will come back at some point in this game.
I'm like, Carson Beck's too good. This team's too good. Overall.
This is just a bad half of football. And so
(04:07):
there's a couple other buddies who were there. So they
hammered the live bet and then towards the end of
that thing, it was like, all right, now it's we're
getting close, like maybe we should start hitting the money line.
But at no point that the meat Wagon want to
get involved. Don't get upset Leavar. But I did tell
him to take the points in Illinois. I thought that
spread was way too big, so he cashed in on
that one, and then he hit the the Ohio State
(04:28):
one as well, seventeen points. It was like eighteen nineteen.
That's big. Yeah, that's too big. Well, look, I mean,
Illinois's a better team than people give them credit. And
that was a spot where James Franklin traditionally hasn't had
an issue with anyone outside of Ohio State and Michigan.
(04:48):
And that's why I think there's a lot of momentum
for laying the points with Penn State there. But again,
different year, different team. Like as I said before, Illinois
a much better team. People give him credit. I know
they lost ultimately, but it was still a hard fog game,
as you guys know. You guys were there and witnessed it,
so I was there.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Jaln Milroy now the favorite to win the Heisman mill Row, Yeah,
no idea.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
I'm thinking hit the butt, hit the button.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
I was thinking of the guy who helped you get
us a r out of the sticks, last name Brown. Yes,
he is the favorite to win the Heisman now after
what happened over the weekend.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
So he's phenomenal. And let me just say this, We'll
get to mill Row because he should be and watching
what he's done is tremendous. People starting need to start
looking at Kaitlyndboro as an NFL head coach. Like if
you look at the NFL teams looking for their next
head coach, there's not a lot of buzz names right now.
(05:54):
We can throw out some if you, if you'd like,
but I would say this, Caitlin de Boor has won
everywhere he's been, and I think there's this thought that, oh,
he's a college coach, can't do at the NFL level.
I would say this if you're or in response to that,
if you're looking for a guy who's an offensive mine,
who's been able to transform quarterbacks, which is essentially what
(06:14):
you're asking him do at the NFL level from college.
Look at what he's done so far in college. Look
at Michael Pennis at Indiana, look what he did at Washington,
look at Jalen Milroe beforehand, and then look what he's
done so far this year. I mean I was going
through his throes this morning earlier. He has completely transformed
him to play from the pocket, have a sense of
(06:35):
timing and rhythm with everything that he's seeing out there.
It is incredible to watch and look, it's a credit
to Jalen Milroe, but it's also crazy how like I
kind of had the same thought about Larry what's this
going to look like? With Michael Pennix and Washington. He'd
been banged up in Indiana. More of a dual threat guy.
You know, can he play with an assistant that throws
it around a bunch? Hell yeah? And Jalen Milroe is
(06:58):
now showing that too. I mean Urban Meyer did a
segment on Urban Playbook about the development of Jalen Milroe. Now,
I think you're started to see some of that last year,
the downfield throwing, but now you see this year it's
all throughout. It's short, it's intermediate, it's downfield, it's it's hey,
I need to create and do something here. Hey, I
don't I seed to get out of this throw the
football away. He's playing the quarterback position like a guy
(07:19):
who were not talking about enough being a first round pick.
And in saying that, I think if you're an NFL franchise,
you should give a long, hard look at Caitlyn de
Boor as being one of those next guys to take
that chance to see what he can do at the
NFL level.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
I mean also considering he took over for Saban, Like, yeah,
I know, look it's just four games in, but like
this is like, that's a.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Huge looks dominant though they dominated in Madison, I mean
outside of them allowing Georgia to comeback the way that
they did, that was a dominant performance leading all the
way up to that. Let me ask you this, how
do you give up that type of a leak? You Like,
I know, they pulled it out, so it's not you know,
we don't have to question it or say, you know,
(08:02):
have a different narrative because they did pull it out.
But I mean, how do you allow a team to
come back from that far down? Like, if you're coaching,
if you're doing it the right way, how does a
team make that comeback?
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Yeah? Big plays? I mean it's the same thing when
Kirby Smart was answering the question of the Ryan Williams
touchdown on the other end of it, you know, after
Georgia goes up, they make this miraculous comeback. Then, if
you're Alabama or excuse me, if you're Georgie, you're asking
yourself the same question. How do we allow one play
one deep throat to Ryan Williams to turn into it
a touchdown to go back ahead. Yeah, and Kirby smart
(08:36):
Study is like, hey man, like Malc I did a
good job against him the whole game and he was
in position, just didn't make the play. And the coaching
point at that point is just to get the guy
down on the ground, like once you give it up,
like okay, let's not give up six points there. So
it's big plays. I mean, that's what it came down to.
Carson Beak started dealing and that's what he's capable of.
I mean I was with a group of about probably
(08:57):
ten guys and everyone's looking at me like this kid's
supposed to be a top five, top ten. I was like,
this is literally the worst start he's had in his
entire college career. Is like this half of football so far,
you know, And he responded to that, which I thought.
I think there's so many things from this game you
can touch on, whether it's Milrow, his play, his growth
and development and all that, whether it's Beck and I
(09:19):
think his response to adversity. You know, it didn't play
great couple weeks ago versus UK didn't play great this
first half played phenomenal in the second half. You know,
there's all things you're going to take away from it.
Like one of the things that I think always flies
under the radar is if you guys watch number two
for Alabama, Ryan Williams. It's an unbelievable story. He's seventeen
years old, seventeen Jesus, and he's one of the best
(09:43):
wide receivers in college football. He's probably the type of
kid that if he wanted to, if it was allowed,
could leave and go to the NFL after this year.
You should see how much respect everyone gives him. Like
everyone's scared out of their mind to play press against
him because he's so fast. When he's a sophomore in
high school, you ran at ten four one hundred meter.
Is that fast? LeVar that's smoking, that's blazing by the way,
(10:07):
a sophomore and so on the tape when you watch him,
you're like, he looks so smooth, but he is moving.
And you looked at all those big plays and honestly, like,
when I went back through all the throws, I'm going,
if they wanted to, they could have thrown to Ryan
Williams almost every single pass play because everyone plays so
far off of him, and even if they do play off,
(10:28):
he eats up that cushion so fast and so we're
this win. It's big for a lot of reasons, for
Bama and for Kaitlyn de Bor and cementing his legacy
and continuing to kind of show the dominance of Alabama
over Georgia. I mean, Kirby smarts only beat them once,
but where it has a huge impact. The fact that
it's in Tuscaloosa is that was the biggest recruiting weekend
(10:50):
they'll have all year. And if you don't think that
every single recruits sitting there in the stands looking at
that seventeen year old, that true freshman who's now sitting
there playing starring in this offense, saying that could be
me next year at Alabama. Like that's the power of
a game like that, and especially when a true freshman
balls out like that, that it has on their program
(11:11):
for years to come.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Being on the field before the Penn State Illinois game,
you guys have talked about this before, and like, I've
been lucky enough to be on the field for you know,
a couple of Hawaii games to see and this is
not a knock on the Hawaii program, because listen, those
are d one kids and they're they're really good, and
credit to them, but to see like a top ten
(11:36):
team like a Penn State, those guys are massive, like
and we're not even talking like the offensive line. We're
talking like the backup quarterbacks. We're talking like it's actually
shocking to see the level of talent at at big
at a big time university like that up close and personal,
and I can just only imagine what it's like. And LaVar,
(11:59):
you talked about seeing Iowa on the field and Penn
State a couple of years ago. It's crazy, man, And
I don't think people get it until you're actually around
it and you go to that person, a person like
eighteen years old, and I'm thinking, dude, I was bussing
tables and this kid's just a monster and an elite
athlete at that age. It's it's kind of wild to
(12:19):
just be around it and see it. I'up close and.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Personal, man, Jonas, what do you think of the atmosphere?
I mean, you got them on the field.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
That was a wide out, so that was an I
mean it was wide out energy, but that was that
was a wide out.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
That game by the way can you guys have more
than one? Dude, Like, if you've got a night game,
who cares if you had two or three a year.
I don't. It's one of the greatest things in college football.
And then you're like, oh, we're.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Going to do it once. I don't know how all
that works. That's above my paygrade. But what I will
say is Coach Franklin called for white out energy. That
was a white out. That was a white out on Saturday.
That's that's what I will tell you. Q. It was
if you've been to a white out and no, it
was a white out. It was everything looked like that
(13:04):
kind of felt like it what you got Lee.
Speaker 5 (13:07):
Well, when we were there, we were learning was this
a blue stripe game they actually have like technically they
kind of have.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Family advertised one as a.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
It just all I know is it changed when you
know they beat Nebraska. We knew, you know, coach coach
James knew that that the team was going to be
in a serious, serious fight to win this game. They
weren't coming into the game afraid of anything that they
were going to do. In fact, it was interesting pre
(13:36):
game they were walking on Penn State side of the field.
They're like I could tell you the personal involvement.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
I had on that.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
It was I kind of blacked out, Like they came
in there to to basically take that house, like they
was coming in there, like we got zero respect for y'all.
But the whole idea of the energy and how how
that all played out, man, it was that was that
was a phenomenal atmosphere. I think they had to call
(14:08):
time out at least two times, at least two times
that I saw based off of the amount of noise
that was was in there, Like how loud.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
It was.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Just the amenities, the like being in the football building
and seeing all the awards, the National Championships, Capilledes, Heisman,
a Q Shipley's Center of the Year, like all that stuff.
Just looking around at the practice field and you realize, yeah,
like football is just different.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
It's different in certain places, Like it just is like
it's not are you ready to admit that the atmospheres
are better in college I mean NFL, Like it's not
even because we've talked about.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
The other's playoffs. Playoffs in the pros is pretty pretty phenomenal.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
It's awesome. It's pretty awesome. But just talking about every game.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
Like every game at the college level. I mean pretty much.
It's pretty special.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Have you been around somebody who is who's so into
something that seeing their excitement in it like makes you
want to get excited about it, Like.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Well, okay my kids at Christmas? Yeah, like it kind
of started. I'm like, I think I believe in Santa. Yeah,
Like it just like changes.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
The snow is the armor bottom of your under armoor
flip flop and they and they say it is sent.
The Sana had the same flip flops as you dad,
And yes he does, and it.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
All goes bast for those listening right now, Yes he does.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Like just being out there makes you more into the program,
the atmosphere, just all of it, just the way the
way everything's done is just top notch. I can't say enough,
but it's It was fantastic.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
It was fun. It was all a little bit.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
He had some beers. He was he was on his
icy Light kick. He was asking for one everywhere he went.
But he had he had a blue stripe Icy Light.
You know, it's a Pittsburgh beer, you know, like Iron City.
Like he was getting the icy.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Like he's trying to act like yeah, yeah, I mean
he was like trying to be a Western Pa.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Or hey, big noon's going to be in state college
this week?
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Right, this week? That's right, that's right. Are you ready?
Where do you see la?
Speaker 2 (16:13):
You ce l A can't catch your break? Yeah, I'll
be there, Yeah to see you. I'll come check you out. Yeah,
maybe there'll be the leap bloggers will be passed around.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
You know.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
I know we're working on getting them the kegs out.
We were supposed to get them out there last weekend,
but we'll get them in there.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
You should have a kegstand. I know, man, I know
we had drinks at the at the tailgate.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
The tailgate. My tailgate is strong to you. I'm telling
you strong. It's at Spike Stadium. It's like right, it's
right in front of the front front entry of the
stadium of Beaver.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
I don't where's it in conjunction with the basketball arena.
It's across the street.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
So if you walked away from the basketball arena and
walked along the that runs right where the State Beaver
Stadium is, you just keep walking straight. It's the it's
the what the minor league baseball teams sketch. That's where
the Penn State baseball team plays too. It's the baseball team. Yeah,
(17:16):
but Bryce Jordan is the basketball basketball arena. You gotta
walk straight. That's where your set is usually at, is
where the Bryce Jordan is. So if you were to
look like, I don't know, it's hard to it's not.
It's not hard to explain. But it's behind Bryce Jordan
and right in front of like behind the entrance of
(17:37):
Beaver Stadium.
Speaker 5 (17:38):
You gave really good directions I was able to find
you were able to find a good all right, good.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
I think I'm just tired. My brain is tired right now.
What happened? It's just to travel. I noticed you fly
back a lot later than Lee and Jonaston. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
I stayed for the game, and I make sure that
if i'm if I'm flying out of Harrisburg, I try
to leave enough time so I could go get an
original LeVar Allen.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
From ABA. It seems like my guess is your flight
wasn't any earlier than eleven am on Sunday.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
I went out at four four four, Yeah, I think
it was four pm.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Yeah, man, plenty of time. Yeah, That's what I'm saying.
You give yourself a solid amount of time to uh
to you know, sober up in it?
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (18:29):
Yeah, I'm I think I'm sober. I know you are.
Now I'm saying I think I'm saying. No, I'm asking myself.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
Day I'm asking myself, am I though, because I really
was having at it on on the plane playing right here?
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Oh okay, okay, okay, and wait, so let me let
me ask you Harrisburg is your connection? That how far
is Harrisburg from like an hour and a half.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
That's only if you can't get out of state college
much rather flat out of state college. But it's a
nice it's a nice draft to Harrisburg, and I get
to go to zombies and get my wings and watch
watch football. All the football games is on there. And
it's a Washington Redskins bar now known as the the Commanders.
(19:16):
It's still it's still they still call it a Redskins
sports bar. Racist. Yeah, I'm sorry, just what it is though,
and a ton of diehard Redskins fans come in there
that now chair on the Washington Commanders. There's a lot
of people out there that's proud of me for doing that.
By the way, I mean, so you're welcome, Pardy for
(19:39):
what identifying them to what it is that they identified
mes's what they.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Were for a long time. There You Go played at
RFK Stadium. On Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
Jonas knocks with you. Coming up next here though, from
the tyraq dot Com studios, somebody's trying to be accountable
for some really poor play in the NFL. You will
hear from him right here on FSR.
Speaker 6 (20:05):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Margaret, that's your new girl Lee.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
knocks with you.
Speaker 7 (20:34):
Yeah so, Brady. During the break, Veto noticed that leaves
screensaver on his phone as a drink.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Her name is Margareta. Yeah, it's not, uh, that is funny.
It's not like family or like it's literally the picture
of a drink. It's it's not like you love Margarita's
that much to you.
Speaker 5 (21:03):
No, it's me on vacation in Mikinos Grease in a
very beautiful location and I have these awesome I have
this nice drink in front of me. I'm enjoying it
very much, and it takes me to my vacation. It's
a nice spot, my green space.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
I almost got arrested or kicked out of the airport
on my way out. I forgot to tell y'all this story.
So I'm going through the metal detector machine or whatever
where you stick your hands up over your head.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
And stuff like that. It takes scan you or whatever.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Come out, and the lady standing there, and then the
other TSA dude is over there and he's on his
knees like I think he had just got done pat
and a dude down on like his legs and stuff
like that. Right, So I turn and look at the monitor,
and for some reason, my crotch always flags. I don't
know why, but it always like comes up on the
(21:57):
monitors and they'd be like they they gotta rub me down, right.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
So do you say thank you? Uh? Wow?
Speaker 3 (22:08):
So this time, in particular, Q, the dude is on
his knees. I look at it. I'm so used to
doing that. I'm like, you know, just by.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
The way creep pause right there for a second, all right,
every time, because I'm with you, like I've had those
issues too, And now I just go through the metal detector.
But when I go through the one that you like,
spins around you. Yes, that one the same thing. And
I'm like, I don't know why, but they always ask
for a guy, and I'm like, well, maybe i'd be
more comfortable with woman. Why don't I get the choice.
(22:36):
I'm not going to be padded down here.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Never a woman doing it, always a guy. I just
rubs you up and down, like up and down, like
does that hurt? Like up and down? Are you sensitive?
Speaker 1 (22:45):
Like what? Anyway?
Speaker 3 (22:49):
So I light up like my thig lights up on
on the X.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
Rack for sheet.
Speaker 8 (22:58):
He's on his knees, and I was like, you might
as well handle that while you're down. No, No, I
din't think nothing of it because I'm so used to it.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
I'm so used to it going off.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
I was just like, I was like, I know you're
the one that has to do it, and that's the area.
Speaker 8 (23:16):
You're going to be in, so you should just go
ahead and handle it while you're down.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
In my bad my man stood up so quick.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
It was like whoa sir, whoa sir? Sir, Sir? I
was like, whoa bud. He was like, no, you let
you whoa buddy? You let me explain something to you.
I explained to you the rules and what has to
happen and what I need to do. And the only
thing that saved me, I think the only thing that
(23:45):
saved it from escalating is there was another TSA. I
go through there often the other TSA.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
Dude recognize me and he and the dude kind of
loosened up a little bit, which I wasn't trying to
be funny.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
I was just like trying to get through security.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
But after I thought about it, when I said it,
I was like, oh, s I, I messed this one up.
He jumped up, bro, and he was taller than me too.
He jumped up in my face and was like, sir sir.
I was like listen, I was just looking at the
He was like, please stop talking, like he ain't want
(24:22):
me to talk nothing. So I just I stopped and
let him explain the whole spiel and this, that and
the other, and then he rubbed me up and down.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
And then I got up out of there.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
But I almost got I almost got caught up, and
I almost got caught up.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
Oh, I got it.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
There you go, there you go. That's one to use
for the ages, because I tell you what, he was
me up and down man. I told him go ahead
and handle it while he was down there. Man, But
I ain't mean it that way. I knew he was
going to go down there anyway, you know what I mean. Yeah,
he stood up. Though he didn't do it on his knees.
(24:59):
He stood up and did it.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
So you're probably going to see him again this weekend.
I might, I might be flat.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
I might try to really make sure I could get
out of get out of state college. Might made things
a little awkward in Harrisburg.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Oh man, that's great.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Shouts out Harrisburg tsa shut out to thank you for
being kind to me and not not popping off on
me and taking that the wrong way.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
You know. Oh but I forgot to tell you that story. Yeah,
that's a good one.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
Yes, two pros and a cup of Joe here on
Fox Sports Radio. Coming up, we are going to have
another edition of Lee's Leftovers that'll be yours here. On
a Monday morning, we had mentioned and talked about the
Deshaun Watson and Brown's fiasco and whatever the hell that was,
and the injuries and all that stuff, and you know,
just not playing well whatsoever. I'll say this in the
(25:53):
same division and we haven't a chance to really get
into this yet. I know they lost yesterday, but without
Justin Fields, Pittsburgh isn't close in that game. Like I thought,
he was really really good yesterday and.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Best came to date.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
I mean, and it gets better every week, like he
just progresses and gets better every week. But he was fantastic,
especially in the second half.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
I thought in that game he was fantastic. I mean,
he's gotten better and better, and I think it's going
to the point now where if you are Mike Tomlin,
you know, maybe you know you want to make the
announcement that he's just going to be the guy that's
who we're rolling with the rest of the year. It
would make sense coming off this game, despite the fact
that it is a loss. I think the other crazy
thing about this game was on the other side of
(26:37):
the of the situation where Anthony Richardson again gets hurt,
can't finish the game. Flacco comes in and similar to
last year with Gardner Minshew, he's able to deliver. I mean,
I think what first play in throws a touchdown pass.
But the general point with that quarterback situation in Indy
is in order for Anthony Richardson to be the player
he's capable of being because he has such a dynamic
(26:59):
runner and he's also, you know it, can play from
the pocket. You got to have both. And the problem
is is if he's going to be injury ridden, it's
gonna be really tough for them not to have a
guy like Joe Flacco or Minshew last year as someone
who can be the starter who's gonna have to come
in and win them some games. And that's what Flacco
did yesterday. But that's the truth in the matter of
(27:20):
when you draft Anthey Richardson in the way his career
has gone so far, he just cannot stay healthy despite
that he's an absolute adonis out there on the field.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
I thought it was an interesting game because it was
so much defense involved, and yet the Colts came out
on top. I think that was a sobering moment for
a lot of people on that Pittsburgh Steelers team. I
(27:50):
think they have to figure out how they can be
a little bit more sooner in games than what they
were in this last game.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
You can't.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
I mean, sometimes offense comes when it comes, I get it.
But this kind of goes back to that conversation we
had earlier in the show in the first hour in
terms of when the defenses is out there and they're
trying to give the offense as many opportunities as they
can give them, and you do for somewhat of you know,
(28:24):
some parts, some portions.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
Of the game. I mean, they did give up some points, but.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
You would have thought that maybe the Pittsburgh Steelers offense
would have gotten going a lot sooner than what it did.
But maybe it's a catalyst. I don't know. Maybe it
was a catalyst for them moving forward to try to
start faster. Not sure, but that that probably needed to
be a wake up call for the Steelers team.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Cowboys Stealers. Sunday Night Football.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
It's gonna be a big game, man, because both two teams,
like now, all of a sudden, the Steelers are looking
at a situation where they don't want to get too
far off track, and you definitely don't want to open
up the door to the quarterback conversation or controversy whatever
people want to label it as you don't want that
to grow any momentum. You know, a loss against the Cowboys,
(29:17):
two straight lop losses a drop could create a very
very intense conversation about what's going on at the quarterbacks position.
And clearly we all know why the Dallas Cowboys need
to win.
Speaker 2 (29:28):

All right, lead a lap? What do we got? Well, guys,
lots to get to. But we lost a legend over
the weekend.
Speaker 5 (30:39):
Mister Chris Christofferson passed away at age eighty eight, and
he of course know him for his music career. But
we were talking about this during the break. Obviously, remember
him from plenty of movies. I remember him from Blade.
What were you saying, uh, Jonas? You remembered him from Oh,
Convoy Convoys.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
I don't know why. I just remember watching that as
a kid.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
But he was so he was the original Star is Born.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
You were saying he was in the nineteen seventy six version.
Speaker 5 (31:04):
I know there's several versions, but he's in the seventy
six version with Barbar streisand.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
Jeez, interesting, I thought the first one was the Bradley
Cooper one.
Speaker 5 (31:17):
Nope, I don't know if the dog was in the
first ones. But the dog eating the steak, oh while his.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
All his owners just sitting there hanging around.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Yep, Like, come on, man, I don't think that's in
the other versions. Not sure what a scum bad? I
don't have to rewatch that.
Speaker 5 (31:36):
What else we got, lee, Guys, I don't know if
you saw this story or not. You know power Slap?
Speaker 1 (31:43):
Yes, oh yeah, I've seen that. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (31:46):
Well there's uh, you know they got male males and
female power Slap contestants. Well, one contestant, female contestant was
practicing and her implant apparently exploded while she was training.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
For power slop. What kind of implant? Uh, breast hair
air air implant like not air?
Speaker 5 (32:07):
No, and I suppose that would make it a saline implant.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
You know, tang, there's a different versions. Wait a second,
How did it first? How did it rupture?
Speaker 5 (32:18):
I guess you know, you're making contact somewhere in the swing.
I'm not exactly sure how where it happened, but gotta
be careful.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
I guess hit in the face or she was hitting
someone else in the face and it just exploded. Yep.
Rupture that that can be a bit of an emergency.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Yeah, absolutely, yeah, absolutely can't. I mean, you know, I'm
gonna stay away from that.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
You don't have any thoughts on that.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Yeah, it's a little I wanted to say it like
in like playing form, like use the word I wanted
to use and everything.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
But I'm gonna just stay away from a steered clear
because you're a professional.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Yeah, wish her to wish her speedy recovery though what's
her name?
Speaker 1 (33:05):
What was her name?
Speaker 3 (33:07):
I just closed it. Oh, don't worry about it. You
know what do we wish your speedy recovery?
Speaker 1 (33:13):
Whoever? You are? All right? All right, there we go.
Speaker 5 (33:16):
You know, on TMC you often see these stories were
like one celebrity sells their mansion to another celebrity.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Okay, maybe you see it.
Speaker 5 (33:23):
Maybe sure, Well I just found Christian McCaffrey and Olivia
Colpo they bought this very nice mansion.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
I happened to know it. I walked by it on
my on my happened to know it. Yeah, I walked by.
Speaker 5 (33:34):
It's George Clooney's old house. I always pointed. I was like, hey,
that's where George Clooney lives. Steve Nicks lived there. Yeah,
nice little spot. So now I'll make sure to wave
for you. Guys say hey, the guys say hey, Olivia.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Wave to people and things walking by. Have you seen Al?
Have you seen a? Yes?
Speaker 5 (33:53):
I did see AL. I was driving by. I didn't
walk by. I was driving by on the way to
the packers bar yesterday.

So you got a new are now?
Speaker 2 (34:01):

Speaker 1 (34:02):

Speaker 5 (34:06):
So the olpack is back ow, I hope. So it
was hard to see. I saw things moving around in there.
I'm gonna say hi.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
To wait just a review. Do you remember last week
when we were talking about all the things that you
were trying to like give your life in order that
it's correct. Yes, you didn't get a car?
Speaker 5 (34:24):
Well, hey man, I was on the roadmen, but the
phone corrected itself.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
It's been it was. It fixed it. So the phone
was fixed to fix it fixed itself. Yeah, I mean
you guys saw it. Uh? So did you send the
other one back?
Speaker 5 (34:41):
I was just meaning to look and see if it
had shipped already. I might cancel it.
Speaker 9 (34:46):
Yeah, all right, the lord situation, hey man, man, Well
I did Hey man, I didn't have time to have
the photographer come by this weekend because I wasn't there,
so we're gonna I'm gonna make that happen.
Speaker 3 (35:00):

well have been barbecue, so.
Speaker 3 (35:26):

your face on the wall though Jones.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
Yeah, Levar's got his face on the wall at pee Man's.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
That was your face. Pretty sweet, Yeah, pretty pretty cool. Yeah. Anyway,
I liked how everything surprised. There's not more stories from
like Lee, you know, being found in a side alleyway
or something. I wasn't. I wasn't I was sleep but
I didn't even go out. I don't know. I mean,
you gotta tell h Matthews there was there might have

Speaker 10 (36:06):
Yeah, right, he did get a mini pitcher and a
Corona Brothers, and.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
We were too busy watching.
Speaker 2 (36:21):
Somehow, some way, they found enough evidence to overturn that
play in the.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Miami Virginia Tech game. Somehow, someway still, the Catra should
have been It never should have been a catch in
the first place. That thing was moving the whole time,
so I don't know how that guy even sawid made it.
And then you see
