in Las Vegas and apparently maybe his head coach once

(00:23):
him gone too. We're also going to have a discussion
about one coach in the NFL standing by their starting
quarterback and some very strange injury handlings in the world
of college football. It's all yours. Coming up next here,
Two Pros and a cup of Joe on a Wednesday,
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Give this.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
And a happy Wednesday. It's two Pros and a cup
of Joe. Fox Sports Radio. LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
Knox with you, doing it all live here from the
tire rack dot Com Studios tire rack dot Com. We'll
help you get there fast, free shipping, free road hazard protection,
an unmatched selection over ten thousand recommended installers, tire rac

(01:17):
dot com the way tire buying should be and guys,
we've got ourselves NFL drama. We were waiting for it
to happen, and apparently it is upon us. The trade
deadline is November fifth, but let's not wait that long
because the worst kept secret in the world was DeVante
Adams may finally want out of Las Vegas. And apparently

(01:40):
the Raiders and him are now open to the idea publicly,
and there is consideration a second round pick and other
possible additions added into the package. But it looks like
Davante adams time in Las Vegas could be coming to
an end very very soon.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Var is that punting on the season? That's the first
thing I thought about, because he's he's still I mean,
he's your best offensive weapon, right, Am I wrong?

Speaker 4 (02:11):
There?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:12):
I'm trying to think of if there's anybody, he's your
best offensive weapon.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
So I don't I don't understand.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
I've heard the rumblings, I heard the whispers that he's
not happy in Las Vegas.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
But is it so bad? Who do you hear that from?
By the way, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I don't really remember where I heard it was from,
you know what I might have saw. I saw it somewhere.
I didn't hear it from anybody. I just I saw it.
I saw it somewhere.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Anyway.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
I see a couple of your tracks. I see what
you're doing.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I don't understand why it would be so bad that
you want to get a trade, because here's here's the thing.
Who who's trading like You're not? You're not necessarily going
to go to a greener pasture.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Now.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Is this an attempt to entice the New York Jets?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Because of that bold proclamation Aaron Rodgers made. If you
guys remember that they'll end up playing together again. Is
this him looking at, you know, eyeing up a team,
say the Cowboys or something to that effect. What does
he have his eye on? Because if there is a
trade that takes place, you know, one of the teams

(03:32):
that would make sense that I was thinking about would
be possibly the New York Giants. They need another weapon
to compliment neighbors. I start thinking of a couple other teams,
but those teams aren't good. They're not good teams, So
I don't know what the end result here is the

(03:54):
fact that you know, now it's being discussed and it's
being openly put out there that you know, they're they're
seeking a trade. They're open to a trade, and he
wants to seek a trade. It just to me, I
don't know, does that say that they are they punting
the season because I mean, you you're you're still competitive.

(04:14):
There's still a competitive team. They're above I mean, they're
at five hundred, I believe.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
I don't understand the timing of it after a win.
I just don't understand the timing of it.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
Yeah, it is interesting you bring that up, like it's
not like the season's lost.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
It's not like the they.

Speaker 5 (04:32):
Could have tried to, you know, do this earlier in
the year, before the season started. Maybe there was a
greater trade value. I mean that that's the reality of
it is. There were some teams who most likely would
have loved to have DeVante Adams on their roster before
the season started, and for whatever reason, this I guess
ends up being the timing at which he says, all right,

(04:54):
you know this is I just I want to be
somewhere else. So I'm not sure if it has to
do with you know, lack it's not like lack of targets.
I mean he's getting a fair amount of targets. Hit
a huge game versus Baltimore earlier this year. It is
his best game so far the season. You know, Carolina

(05:17):
wasn't quite as much. You know, you look at the
Chargers maybe a little bit less and just he probably
sees the running on the wall and looking at it saying,
I am.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
You know what, thirty two.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
I believe thirty one somewhere there almost thirty two, and
wants to be somewhere at the end of his career.

Speaker 6 (05:34):
We have it.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
He's a shot to compete as a playoff team, and
maybe he doesn't feel like the Raiders are a playoff team.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
He was talking with Kay Adams. No relation. I just
want to make that clear to everybody. And apparently there's
some post that went viral. Again, I'm not trying to,
you know, stir the pod anymore, LeVar. You know, I'm
not trying to get anybody dirty on any of this stuff,
and I don't want to smear anything around here. But
he was talking with k Adams because apparently there was

(06:01):
a post that was put up that don't be surprised
if DeVante Adams has played his final game as a Raider,
and Antonio Pearce, his Instagram account, happened to like the
post and some people took note of that, and she
asked him about it, so he responded to that and
then also talked about just where he's at from a

(06:22):
mental standpoint with these rumors that are out there. So
this big story happens where they think your coach or
your coach did I actually don't know, likes this post
about you getting traded.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
How soon did you hear from coach?

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Yeah, i't. I haven't heard from him. I haven't.

Speaker 7 (06:37):
I haven't talked to him, so I've been Yeah, I
don't know. I don't really know exactly what that was about. Obviously,
I got you know, social media as a beast. So
there's a lot of people out there that saw it
and you know, wondering what's going on and people reaching out.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Yeah, I I haven't spoke to him.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Honestly, it's hard to.

Speaker 7 (06:53):
Comment on and I'm sure you would you would imagine
as such, but it's it's one of those situations. It's
just where I just keep my head down and keep
doing my thing, and uh, you know, let the let fall.
What they make is as it pertains to that, but
I haven't. There's been no company of communication with anybody
from the team since since then became a thing. But

(07:14):
you know, it's kind of just like the weekly Yeah,
so we'll take you know, there's always some sort of drama,
but at the end of the day, one.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Seven doesn't create any of it.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
So people can say what they want.

Speaker 7 (07:25):
But I'm just chilling, trying to be the model for
you know, not stirring the pot and just just locking
in and doing what I gotta do.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
A lot of people think you may never play another
down as a raider.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
What would you say that.

Speaker 7 (07:36):
All I can control is this this talk we're having
right here, and then after we're done with this, all
I can control is the next thing that I'm wanting.
So I'm gonna get up in a minute and nice
workout in and that's all I can control.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 5 (07:54):
If it was it was as Tay always been a
third person guy.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Yeah, so what that means?

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Do you want to be there or not? Say say
you want to be there? Say say say you want
to be there, or say you don't want to be there.
I mean, you have the opportunity to say it now
and no one's going to have an issue with it.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
Just say it.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
They were talking, Antonio appears was talking about business decisions,
and everybody was wondering who he was talking about. And
DeVante Adams hasn't suited it up since, so I'm just saying,
maybe that's where this kind of started to veer off.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
I mean, he also said we're going to make business decisions. Yeah,
so and now and now we see we see these reports,
so maybe it has become evident as to who he
was discussing.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
By the way, I'd also like to answer the question. Yes,
he has played his final game as a Raider. He
was scratched this past week. He's not playing again until
he gets out. They're going to keep him healthy. It's gone,
it's done.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
It makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
I do think it's interesting though that. I mean, I
didn't see the sin incident on Instagram. I'm not one
that follows so committee that closely. So did Tonya Peers
really like something about getting traded?

Speaker 1 (09:06):
That's apparently what I was taking notice. There were people
noted that he he liked a post that far.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
I mean, I don't ire of it.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
He would do.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I don't know. I mean, if that's what the report was,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Okay, you know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
I could see I could easily see him looking at
what's going on on social media and maybe his thumb
might have got stuck on the post or something like that. Yeah,
and he didn't really page that.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
It's weird how it happens, what it's comprised of.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
I just I feel like, is that where we're at nowadays,
where NFL head coaches are setting their subliminal messages through
what they're liking on Instagram.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
That's what sounds like in this case. I just won't change.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
I don't it has changed, it has changed. But one
thing we do know for certain is that the Raiders
are moving on from Davante Adams, and Davante Adams hasn't
said anything at least in that that SoundBite that we
just won seven. Yeah, there wasn't that one seventh.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
He didn't.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
He didn't define it. He didn't he didn't claim anything.
You know, he didn't say I would love to play
on the Super Bowl contending team. He didn't say anything.
He just said, I can't control what I can control.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
I'm glad you're bringing that up, LeVar, because it's time
for another round of Jonas.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
What are the odds seven that Tay Adams goes to?

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Now this should be noted here, do we have any
theme music we can throw on this? A little like.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Gambling would pick up on that little son THEA.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Now it should be noted these are not courtesy of
our good friends at Draft King. So these are just
kind of being thrown out their courtesy of bet Online.
I want to be clear on that, so everybody knows.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
The page here clear we're talking about.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
So this is DeVante Adams, Tay Adams one seven, you know,
Fresno State Bulldog, whatever you want to call him. These
are the odds for his next team. Now do you
want me to start from five all the way to
one or do you want to go one to five?
You guys, I just guess. Okay, take a whirl.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
Okay, the New York Chats.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
They are the favorite at place one fifteen. Next team
for Tay.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
That, Like I said, I mean, why not stay in
New York? The New York Giants?

Speaker 1 (11:51):
All right, let me go all the way down to
page fourteen for that. Let me get there. It should
be they are at fifty to one. Uh, they are
actually right behind the New York Knicks as the most
likely planning spot for the for TA or one seven
if you will.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
So, I don't want, I don't want.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Kansas City Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Third on this list. One, by the way, do you
actually think the Raiders would deal him to Kansas City's.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
The best offer back in return? Right?

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Okay, that would be fun. I mean he did, he
does o Kansas City something. He shoved that that photographer
down a couple of years ago.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
When the Raiders all.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Right, LeVar, who's what else for TA?

Speaker 4 (12:34):
Here?

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Where else for TA?

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Maybe the Patriots, the New England Patriots.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Let me get all the way down down.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
The page sixty right right behind the Boston Celtics.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
Sure there, call yourself far talking third person.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
The bar don't like it when when start talking bad
about LeVar, that.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
One doesn't like it went.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Sixty six to one. Are the New England Patriots?

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Okay, you know, I know it's seem with a lot
of cap space.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
The Washington second on the list three to one, hardy
Washington Commandos.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
I mean you've got a lot of receivers out right.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Now, LeVar, there's another team near and dear to your heart.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Yeah, he's out there. Never they tried to trade for
one earlier, the Yere.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Hell yeah, just talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers. Six to
one are the Pittsburgh Steelers. They try to trade four earlier, Brandon.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
We got that back up again in the conversation.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
And then we've got number five about the Rams. The
l a Ramsnikua is not No I get right now.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
I got to get two teams that I feel like, well,
I guess this one kind of has of whatever one
I was gonna say.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
The Packers.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
They've like bragged about not having number one. He's going
back there as reunion with Jordan Love familiar place.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
And then the Saints so that they have a lave.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
But seven to one, the Saints are up there as
well too.

Speaker 5 (14:16):
Yeah, if you look at the roster, like they could
for sure use him, and also they've been competitive like
they're looking at a you know, potential playoff team.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
I mean, don't don't we think the Dallas Cowboys could
use another weapon?

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Do they have the money?

Speaker 5 (14:32):
Yeah, they have no money, I mean no, but they
need to have the cap space to absorb his contract.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
They wouldn't be able to create with the trade. No,
it'd be tough, like with a player, like with players,
not not with with draft capital.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Who are gonna swap Mike Parsons.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
No, but they could.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
You have to.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
You have to have to.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
I mean that the person with the biggest cap hits Dack.
It's like you have to trade off one of like
DeMarcus Lawrence.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
I mean, I mean the Jets, really, the Jets really
do make the most sense, just because the Son Reddick
situation is not getting but he's not playing.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
For the gym.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
Where's Baltimore?

Speaker 5 (15:10):
I feel like every time there's a receiver getting ready
to hit traded Baltimore, something like Baltimore could.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Use twelve to one next to next to Buffalo on
the list.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
So the GM Buffalo, Buffalo, Buffalo.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Yeah, that makes sense, So that is the look at
the odds.

Speaker 5 (15:26):
Actually, where's Seattle. That's a team that could use him
the least. There's no way they're that high on the list.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
So the Seattle Seahawks.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
They're right, they're right behind the Super sol.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
No, come on, listen, not I wouldn't do it.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
Well, I mean they have dk Metcalf, they have Tyler Lockett,
they have Jackson Smith and Jig But like, they just
threw for a bajillion yards this past week even even
though they lost, Like, they do not need another wide receiver.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
So the Seattle Seahawks are on page four hundred and twelve.
They are right next to Yeah, see the Seattle Kraken
and Alison Chains also lots of Seattle fan favorite. So
they are at twenty to one. I mean, the Jets
make the most sense, right, if you can unload a
Son Reddick.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
The Jets make the most sense.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Like, why would you not, you know, pull the trigger
on that and get it done?

Speaker 3 (16:10):
I mean sure, yeah, I mean and load that reddick
to me?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
That would wouldn't that make it feel like make you
feel upset and dirty? If you're the coach or if
you're the team that you've heard this being talked about.
We're going to play together again. They said it, And
then you got coach talking about guys making business decisions.

(16:35):
He's already like, you know, he's already got his mindset
on trying to get to New York.

Speaker 5 (16:41):
I want to go back to the third person thing,
like is there anything that someone could do to make
them sound worse.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
You know how I feel?

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Is Eddie here?

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Yeah, Eddie, ed you.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Gotta chime in on this.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
I mean, I've never known him to talk like he's
a third person guy. Has he always been a tay
or a one to seven guyan.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
I've never heard him say one seven before?

Speaker 4 (17:01):
Like that?

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Was that tough for you to listen to? Not if
he goes to the Steelers, it.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Wouldn't be because okay, Aaron Judge, Fresno State bulldog. I've
never heard him go nine to nine.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
Ever, No, uh, would you just go, oh gosh.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Well, I mean, you know we have LeVar, He's won one, right.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I mean, to myself as one Dix, I mean, I've
never referred to myself as dis like the third person.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Trust be a big fun of them all the time.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
If yeah, third person, just don't do.

Speaker 7 (17:44):
That.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
I will say this though I'm not I hate third person.
Brady knows that it pisses me off. But in this case,
I will defend DeVante Adams because whatever he thought he
was getting in Las Vegas with the Raiders, they have
not held up there under the bargain like they fired
the coach he went to go play for they got
rid of the quarterback, Like, dude, everything they sold him

(18:06):
on was not what it was when he got there.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
So we don't know what else is happening off the
field though, you know.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
Yeah, that's true. There is a you know, there's all
sorts of fun stuff that could happen over there in Vegas,
but apparently it's not going to involve him any longer.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
So he don't want to be there. He don't want
to be in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Can we just like, can you call Antonio Pearce and
just find out what happened on Instagram? Liked? How did
that happen? Like, I mean, listen, Shannon Sharp went on
live and didn't know it.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Yeah, so maybe it was a sort of incident, you know,
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
Maybe he was doing the same thing at the moment
and it just stumped it.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Tell me what happened. He clicked on to the social
media channel. It's probably ig that was the post that
was up. He didn't realize that he had clicked on
it and had his finger on it, and then he
hit one more time to scroll and they liked it.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
Or is this the new version for coaches where when
players want to be traded, what do they do?

Speaker 4 (19:07):
Scrubbed?

Speaker 5 (19:08):
Scrub social Yeah, so maybe the new version for coaches
is like, oh, before you even get to scrub it,
I'm gonna like it.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
How do you feel about that?

Speaker 5 (19:19):
Because it's not like you're gonna get the team to
scrub their Instagram account of that player. So you just
start liking stuff out there and then that way the
player has to go scrub his So it's like a
Instagram off, you know, just back and forth like scrubbing, liking.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
And I bet you Mike McDaniel was on social media, what.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
Do you feel like?

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Yeah, how do you think he would explain it? I
don't though, like if he had to explain it, what
would you say, he would sound.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Like, Uh, well, you know, guys, I just I was,
you know, I was up late. I was thinking about
the game, you know, and I just I couldn't sleep,
and I found myself, you know, walking down the hallway

(20:06):
to get a glass of milk and well looking at
my social media and I just felt as though, you know,
you know, that that was that was the post that
I was going to like, you.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Know, you know, when you do depression, you know it
sounds like Larry Merchant if he vaped, that's what It
sounds like a lot of pausing you Dory Merchant, Come yeah, Laurie. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
So Mike.

Speaker 8 (20:41):
Did you did you.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Things that you were going to uh bite his air
in the round and then I was a little younger,
i'd kicked your hand.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
It's okay, but well, you know, it's real clear that
that Antonio Pierce got a hold of his it. Who's
flipping through it? And you know, you know early in
the round he got to where there's a light. Then
there was a dislike that he just realized, oh screw it,
I'm just gonna go to the body until we get
to the final ten seconds that I'm going to go
up top and then I'm going to take a ten
to nine lead into the fourth. So I got a
thirty to twenty seven into the fourth round.

Speaker 8 (21:21):
Jam.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
That's my favorite part is the end.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Oh man, I miss HBO boxing. But much like DeVante
Adams in Vegas, it's over. So that'll be the end
of that and we'll keep you posted as soon as
this trade gets worked out. It is two pros and
a cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio. So
we get a busy one here on a Wednesday morning.
The old p Petris Papa Vegas is back. He will
join you an hour three of the program. We got
some Lee's leftovers, our midweek awards. We've got in case

(21:50):
you missed it later this hour, it's all yours here
from the tire rack dot Com Studios. But coming up
next year, though, one coach is standing by his quarterback
despite all the commentary, despite all the poor play, he
is standing by his guy and you will hear from
him next here on FSR.

Speaker 9 (22:07):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here on Fox
Sports Radio. Coming up fifteen minutes from now, We're going
to tell you why somebody in the NFL, a future
Hall of Famer, may be struggling. We might finally have
our answer. That'll be yours here fifteen minutes from now.
Speaking of struggling, Will Levis has struggled early this season.
Suffered an injury on Monday night in Miami in that
awful game against the Dolphins, Mason Rudolph came in and

(22:45):
delivered played pretty well. Titans get their first one of
the season. Brian Callahan, the head coach of the Tennessee Titans,
spoke about the quarterback situation yesterday.

Speaker 6 (22:56):
I appreciate Mason's professionalism. I appreciate how Parody wasn't ready
to go into the game. But Will is our starting
quarterback and I said it last night and I'll reiterate
again then when he's healthy, he's starting, and hopefully he's
healthy for Indian a rated role and he's the starting
quarterback because it's hard to play quarterback in the NFL.
As everybody knows, there does take some development. Guys make

(23:17):
young young player mistakes. You see it all across the
league right now. And he's We're going to find out
everything about Will that we can and he's going to
continue to grow and get better and play better. He
needs to play better for us, and at the end of.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
The day, I believe that he will.

Speaker 6 (23:32):
And that's where that's that's where I'm at with that
whole thing. There's no controversy, there's no second guessing. That's
that's what's happening. So that's probably as clear clear as
I can state it.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Damn right, coach, damn right, stand by your guy.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (23:47):
I love hearing that. I love hearing that from a
coach who's taking over this team. They kind of know
where they're at. There weren't high, high expectations for this team,
and they've got a young quarterback who displayed a nine
star it's just a season ago that he's capable of
potentially being the guy. He's got a strong arm, he's athletic,

(24:08):
says and does all all the right things. The tough
thing is is he gets banged up a little bit,
and when he does throw interceptions, they.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Are awful like and you hope that's fixable.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
But I will say this, like when you sit in
quarterback rooms and you watch other quarterbacks play, there's some
guys who just had the propensity to throw awful interceptions. Like,
for example, I mean, if you looked at like the
difference between Farv and Rogers in regards to just like
what those interceptions looked like, drastically different, I mean, we'd

(24:47):
be watching like a spacing as a concept that like
everyone uses, right, Uh, Typically you do it out of
a three by one set, all right, three wide receivers
to one side, one ride receiver to the left. You've
got an isolation route on the left hand side, could
be a slant hitch kind of whatever you want. Your
eyes always start there, so you're working that single receiver,
and then you've got an OTB what they'd call it

(25:09):
over the over the ball is what that stands for.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
About six yards.

Speaker 5 (25:12):
You got another guy who's gonna probably especially from a
bunch of alignment, running like a widen kind of hitch
route at six yards, probably right off of the where
the tight end's going to be somewhere that spot. And
you've got the other guys a part of the bunch,
who's gonna be running to the flat. Okay, that concept,
like any quarterback will tell you, it's spacing.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
Spacing. Hell Bar probably knows spacing.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
And so you always start with your eyes to the left,
and you work it back over the ball, and you
work over, you work it across to the next kind
of widen hitch route. That's just part of the progression.
I'll never forget watching far one time he was staring down.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
I forget how he did it. But he was like
trying to force it to the otb the over the ball,
and there was like three dudes. I swear it was like.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
Maybe it was he was in Minnesota at this point,
but there was like three years on a Cardinals standing
next to him, and like when they say throw to
a team meeting, that was a team meeting, like it
was easily picked off, and you watch that, you just
go dang, like what was he doing? But there's other
times where you'd see someone like Rogers where like he'd
throw a ball, gets tipped, gets picked off, or you

(26:17):
know there's a safety bearing down on him, he tries
to put on his back shoulder, you know, the receiver bobbles,
it gets picked off.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Like the stat line when the people that was touched
a lot, Yeah, they do.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
Because if you don't watch the tape and you don't
see the context of some of those interceptions, it changes
how you feel about it. Because when you watch Will
Levis and some of the interceptions he's thrown, You're going, oh.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
My god, what was he doing?

Speaker 5 (26:41):
Like that was one of the worst things I've ever seen,
Like he needs a good old Tree of Life speech
from my man Carl Smith. He used to coach quarterbacks
in the league where he'd talk about all the bad
things good things that happen in life. And everyone will
tell you taking a sacks like the worst thing in
the world. It's not throwing an interception is way worse.

(27:01):
Just sometimes like just throw the ball away, take the sack.
That's okay, you can move on to play that next down.
That's one of the things that I think he's got
to improve on and learn, and you hopefully, hopefully he's
okay after the shoulder injury too, because that's a bit
alarming as well.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
What's like the Deshaun Watson pick that bounced off of
Mariy Cooper, Like that'll look like an interception in the
box score, but it's like, come on, man, like that's
that's not on DeShawn as much as you know, we
bury the guy like that one's not on.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Mark Cooper was uncomfortable catching Deshaun's balls.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
Throwing well, it could could have been slick.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
And this other thing is, you know, there's always she shuh.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
It is nice though, that that a coach is gonna
give this guy the opportunity to kind of work through
and go through the girl and the part that he
said there. I thought was interesting is when he said
we're gonna find out everything we need to know about him,
not like, well we're not sure, but you know, we're
trying to win games. No, they're gonna have an answer
one way or the other after this year whether he's
the guy, and if he's not, then they'll go in

(28:02):
a different direction. But at least he's going to get
the opportunity to do it, so you.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
Know, you know how they probably communicated how so well,
when Calahan was on the stand doing his interview, he
probably would rapp it Radio, Will Levis, Yes, that's right,
Rapper Radios. They are the official communication device of Fox
Sports Radio. Rapper Radios they're the instant push to talk

the best to ever do it. But why is he struggling?
We may finally have the answer, and we'll have it

(29:18):
for you. That's next.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of show here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you coming up top next hour. A little over
twelve minutes from now. A very weird decision made by
the NFL yesterday, and it goes a little bit farther
back than maybe some of you remember, so we will
have the details on that for you again a little
over twelve minutes from now. A reminder before we get

(30:21):
to another edition of In case you missed it, though,
that shortly after the show, our podcast will be going up,
so search two Pros wherever you get your podcasts. Be

Sometimes you can't get to everything in the world of
sports or entertainment. Good thing, the guys are here to
bring you in case you missed it.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
And for that we turn it over to our executive
producer Lee.

Speaker 10 (30:51):
Lap Good Good morning, everybody, Good morning, Jonas, Good morning, Brady,
Good morning, LeVar. Hey guys, in case you missed this,
Hey var Hey guys, in case you missed this. I
think we've all been missing Hey Brady, I think we've
all been missing a little Taylor Swift in our lives.
We've been missing it for at least two weeks. People
are wondering where has she been? She has huh no, good,

(31:17):
well I miss her. She hasn't showed up to the
game against Atlanta on the twenty first against Smith.

Speaker 5 (31:22):
Uh.

Speaker 10 (31:23):
Yeah, she didn't show up in LA this last week,
and according to sources, she hasn't been showing up to
other games outside of Arrowhead because of security concerns. She's
worked with Arrowhead so much that she knows exactly what
uh is. Uh, it's comfortable and at ease for her there,
but she's citing security concerns for not.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
How how does the security change from game to game.

Speaker 8 (31:45):
Well, it's a different stadium, different person.

Speaker 10 (31:47):
Yeah, she's never done stadiums before, but it's not like
Sofi Stadium wasn't the you know, she knows so Fi
very well.

Speaker 8 (31:53):
She's got banners up in you know, different stadiums in LA.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Yeah. So you know it's kind of almost like uh,
you know the slow departure. You know, Travis Kelsey's struggling,
you know what it is, She's slowly pulling back. You
remember like September twenty something like that. Yeah, So so
there we go.

Speaker 3 (32:12):
Yeah, it's begun.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
So the contract is ran out. Time is up.

Speaker 8 (32:22):
There you go, Poor Travis. He's taking it hard. You
could tell if you're looking at the stat line.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Dang, yeah, I mean maybe, uh, maybe he'll step his
game up with the latest injury. And and by the way,
they're still they're saying they're doing more testing on Hershi rise.
Has it been a like, have they officially announced that
he's out or at last I heard is that they're
still going to do more testing on it. It's like
the guy's knee got mangled, like seems like it's pretty

(32:50):
it's pretty clear what happened. What else we got lead?

Speaker 10 (32:54):
Hey, guys, In case you missed the story we talked
about yesterday, a Dolphins fan taking it hard, showing a
screenshot of Mason Rudolph jumping into his girlfriend's DMS as
his as Mason was beating his.

Speaker 8 (33:04):
Team at hard Rock Stadium.

Speaker 10 (33:06):
Well, Mason Rudolph actually was on the Doug Gottlieb Show
yesterday and this story.

Speaker 8 (33:10):
Take a listen.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
I was responding actually to whoever the girl was had
sent a few messages my way. I believe he was
a Steelers fan, and so I was responding back.

Speaker 7 (33:20):
But you know, water to the bridge.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
It was a response and it was.

Speaker 7 (33:25):
About eight months ago.

Speaker 4 (33:26):
Was definitely not in between second down going to third down.

Speaker 8 (33:32):
But a good frame job, A good frame job for
a little fifteen seconds of fame.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
I guess you know, it's all Yeah, that's what these kids.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
Are going for. M I mean, I don't know about that.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
Right there.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
Which is more believable that or Antonio Piers accidentally liking
a Post's definitely.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
That it was a response to a Steelers fan.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
It was eight months ago.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
I mean, okay, he played eight months, well days, eight minutes?

Speaker 5 (34:08):
No, no, no, no again, Lee, what's the original story? The
guy was like saying that he was doing this when
they were what in Miami.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
Or something recently?

Speaker 8 (34:17):
Well, the DM is are you still in Miami?

Speaker 10 (34:20):
So they made it seem like, hey, he's in Miami
for the game, he's checking in on this on this fan.
But they they did reiterate later like, well this is
this was from months ago.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
Yeah, so that was the premise of what the guy
who posted it was saying. He thought it was like
before Monday Night Football that he was trying to hit
her up. And meanwhile it was over half a year ago.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Yeah, the guy's a loser. He checked the schedule. He
saw that they were going to be in town and
then decided that's when I'll drop this story. Yeah, what
a loser.

Speaker 4 (34:49):
Again?

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Strikes again?

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Ye all, what else did better on sending that response?

Speaker 4 (34:57):
Though? Sound?

Speaker 8 (34:59):
Is that how that works? Okay, you're right, Well she's
got the screenshot.

Speaker 4 (35:02):
There was a screen shot. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (35:04):
Well, guys, in case you missed, this former Jacksonville Jaguars.

Speaker 10 (35:06):
Employee who stole more than twenty two million dollars and
was sentenced to six years in prison. Well, he's now
decided to sue fan Duel in federal court, claiming the
sportsbook exploited his gambling addiction and intentionally ignored its responsible
gaming and anti money laundering protocols.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
Yeah, it's their fault. You know, I'm a degenerate, flunky gambler.
I've stolen millions of dollars from my employer, and you
know what, it's your fault. You let this happen. It's
completely your fault. Wow wow, Well, like, how about you
be accountable. It's like the guy who gets pissed at
the bar because well, they overserved me. Why don't you
just say no, it's not that hard.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
It's the guy that got shot in the back when
they were robbing your house and they went running out
the door, right, Sue, he shot me.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
In the back.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
Oh what are you crazy?

Speaker 4 (35:51):
I mean? And they win?

Speaker 2 (35:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (35:56):
Losses cand of shoot him in the back, by the ways.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
Uh, speaking of boozing, what else we got lee?

Speaker 10 (36:04):
Well, yeah, exactly, Speaking of boozing. TMZ reports that Eddie
Lacy was arrested Monday night in Scottsdale, Arizona. Eddie Lacy,
of course, former packers in Alabama running back. He had
open containers in the car and blew a point.

Speaker 8 (36:16):
Two Oh oh no, that's more than twice the legal limit.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
In case you're wondering, it's the lifestyle.

Speaker 4 (36:22):
Get a hold of me.

Speaker 8 (36:23):
Oh and get this. It's called extreme dui.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Yeah, gets a bit. It's over point two. That's what
they consider extreme dui. Yeah, they actually use the word
extreme to make the charge more.

Speaker 8 (36:39):
No, I believe it does.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Yes, I mean it can't be that hard.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Did just did it happen on Sundayly?

Speaker 10 (36:49):
Well, he was arrested Monday night, so it was probably
Sunday going into Monday. Yeah, he was pulled over ten
thirty pm local time. So actually, no, this was Monday night,
so probably after Monday.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
