(00:53):

ever edition of Lee's Leftovers. Find out why next. Here,

(02:04):
a late one last night for those of you that's
stuck around in Pittsburgh. Wanting to see your team do
it out with the Dallas Cowboys on national television. Congratulations,
you got to see a football game end near one
am your time locally, only to see your team come
up short. Fun game, a lot of exciting plays. Dak

(02:28):
Prescott gets it done, and you see the Dallas Cowboys celebrating,
and everybody's fired up for Mike McCarthy, the Pittsburgh guy
who comes back gets his big win, and everybody's celebrating.
The conversation to be had, which is the Dallas Cowboys
finally get it done. I don't know what the hell
that does to anybody moving forward. I don't know what

(02:49):
the belief is for the Dallas Cowboys moving forward, whether
or not they're legitimate Super Bowl contenders as I thought
they would be before the season, or whether or not
that was just.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
A really ugly game.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
But nonetheless, the Dallas Cowboys get it done, and the
Dallas Cowboys take care of business against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
They're Brady Quinn. So my Super Bowl hopes of Dallas
going to the Big Game still alive after last night.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
That's right, and they should stay alive. How are my
Super Bowl hopes of the Cleveland Browns going to the
super Bowl. How's that looking right now?

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Well, you know, I didn't want to bring up bold stuff,
you know, that's that's not the direction I wanted to
take this.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
But I haven't officially he moved on. But I'm a
week away from that, so like just a week. They
are so bad it's awful.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
They're also here. You know, I was thinking about this
with Cleveland. Not only are they bad, they're one of
the worst teams in the league, but as far as
how it looks just like optically, like what you watch,
especially on offense, they're atrocious.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
They're atrocious.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
And if you think about two hundred and sixty seven
days ago, they're a playoff team. That's what's crazy about
is they have had such a quick declar line from
being a team that with a fourth string quarterback and
Joe Flacco could go into the playoffs and be considered
a playoff team now to be one of the worst

(04:11):
teams in the league. Yet that is a huge decline
from NFL supremacy, like whatever you want to how you
want to describe it. And then you watch the Steelers
last night and you think they have no shot, no
shot against this Pittsburgh team, regardless of the fact that
Dallas got to win. Obviously, Dak Prescott in the final
moment's coming up clutch.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
You know, I've got a big problem with and I
don't know whose call it is. So you've been in
these situations when they decide that, Okay, there's going to
be a delay in a game because of weather, And
you've been in many of these, Like it became a
running joke on our Sunday night show, like, hey, is
Brady going to get a some sort of a lightning
delay or some sort of a thunderstorm delay.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
So you've been in a ton of.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Those Whose call is it, ultimately for them to delay
the start of a kickoff? Is it the league? Is
it the the local weather service? Like like, what how
does that out? How does that go?

Speaker 1 (05:03):
It's not the local weather service.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
They take that into account, but it's actually the people
who run the stadium because they're the ones who are
liable if they keep a bunch of people in a
stadium that's an outdoor venue and there's lightning and then
the potential of someone getting impacted by getting struck by lightning.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
So it's usually in this case the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
The team and Hinesfield, and you know the operations in
regards to that. They've got a policy. You know, most
places are pretty similar. If there's lightning strike, however many
miles away, they will shut it down for you know,
thirty minutes, whatever period of time it is, and that's.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Typically how it works.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
And once they shut it down, because they're pros or
even at the college level, now, they'll have to have
a certain amount of time to come back out and
warm up. Now, when you go like an hour and
twenty minutes, which I believe last night's delay was where
suspension was, they'll have the teams come together and even
the officials, and they'll say, hey, how much time do
you need? Like this is how much time we're allotted

(06:02):
in this instance, but it's been a long delay. We
haven't even got this ball kicked off. Can we get
out here and do a five minute warm up? Like
do you need a fifteen minute war for twenty whatever's
stating in the rules. And sometimes they'll come back out
and say, yeah, it's fine, let's do five minutes, let's
kick the ball off, let's go.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Play this game.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Yeah, here's my problem, Okay, and that's Look. I know that,
you know, people have different priorities and all that stuff,
and that's fine, but you know, I'm waiting around to
do the show last night after the game the Challenge
on KNBC out here, and we can't do our show
until they get done with their game.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
And when you have a early wake up call to.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Do this show the next day, you'd like for them
to figure this thing out and let's go. And it
dawned on me last night. We've heard our entire life
one of those old adages. God, you're more likely to
get struck by lightning than this happening. You're more so
if it's a long shot of it happening, like a
historic long shot. Let's kick off at eight twenty Eastern time,

(07:03):
and let's just roll everybody out there and see what happens.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Like, what are the odds that somebody in.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Acrosure or acupuncture stadium is actually going to get a
lightning bolt to their temple like that kid from powder.
It's not happening, So let's not make everybody wait around
until one in the morning on the East coast, or
if God forbid, you've got early morning wake up calls
for to get to a show after you finish another show,
why don't you think about everybody else and not like

(07:30):
the fifty to sixty thousand people that might get struck
by lightning during a football game. Come on, man riverside,
get out there, and let's roll.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Two thoughts here. The first thing is, I feel like
there's a little bit of a plea in there for
us to feel bad for you. We're sorry you've become
such a TV star that you have to do with
late night Sunday television there in La and no one cares.
By the way, no one listening to this, including myself,
cares about you having to stay up late to cover
this for your little TV job you've got, now.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Okay, little Nickel and Dime TV show. So I didn't
say that those are your words, Okay.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
The second thing I want to point out is the
fact that of course you'd say something like this. Of
course you'd be willing to sacrifice one of those diehard
Pittsburgh Steelers fans for your own benefit.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
You selfish jerk.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
And the last thing I'll throw in there is this
is why NFL stadiums want to go to domes. However,
of course, the only people who couldn't figure that out
is the LA Rams because they build a stadium that
somehow feels like a dome but it's not.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Yeah, and they can still have a weather delay.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
So kudos to you La, the Krokeys and everyone in
California who made that stadium possible that it could be
covered yet there could still be a weather delay.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
You have one shocking Yeah, what a way to go
out there.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
You imagine being the one Yahoo who gets struck by
lightning at a Steeler game and they bury you in
Bubby Brister's jersey, Like I mean, if we're going to
do it, like, let's do it right, you know what
I mean? Like that, that's there's a way to go out,
and then there's that way to go out.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
So for me, look, why why Bubby Brister?

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Well, I don't know, maybe they're a throwback fan, you know,
maybe it's maybe it's somebody else, not Terry Bradshaw. Could
be Terry Bradshaw, that's fine.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
I mean, are you really not going to hype up
TV in this case I'd be listening.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Could be Terry Bradshaw, the TV, the TV. Look, it
could be Jeff Reid. It could be like one of
the jerseys Jeff Reed. Yeah, like any of those guys,
Like any of those guys, you want to wear that
jersey while you're out there potentially getting struck by lightning,
so be it. It's not going to happen. It's a
long shot. We've always been honest too.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
I don't think the players want to be out there
during that. So you're more concerned with the fans. Do
you think some of the players like Dak Prescott, who
are making sixty million a year want to be.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Out there for that?

Speaker 2 (09:37):
What's he doing like holding up like a giant metal
rod in the air to be like, oh, come give
me your best shot. Like, no, we're out there playing football,
let's go.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
Man, I don't play with lightning, all right, Like that's
the one thing in nature that well, I guess i'd say,
like Hurricane Storm serves that sort of thing. Which thoughts
and prayers to all those in the west coast of
Florida really all throughout Florida. Uh, we know North Carolina
has been hit hard. Thoughts and prayers with them, but man,
they've got another hurricane coming, so uh, I feel feel

(10:07):
terrible for them. But man, I don't mess with nature
like that. I'll just put it that way. You could
go out there and get struck by lightning if you want.
I think LaVar is with me on this.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Yeah, yeah, stay safe. You gotta stay safe, man. You
know you don't stay safe, you know.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Yeah, I gotcha. That defeats the purpose of living, you
know what I mean. So it's a great it's a
great point.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Now a little distraught over the uh, the the loss.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
Loss, Yeah, yeah, what disheartening.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
What do you think is more likely to happen next?
Getting struck by lightning or the Steelers having a decent offense?
What do you think is uh is more likely?

Speaker 5 (10:49):
And half of the fact, it definitely now opens up
the conversation. I said this before. If if they have
performances on the offensive side of the ball, which they
haven't had explosive, explosive.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Games on the offense.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
It has looked as though Justin Fields has gotten more
comfortable being out there handling the offense as the starter.
But they haven't been amazing, you know, on offense, and
so they needed to keep winning. And then even though

(11:34):
you know, it might have been ugly, which even if
they had won last evening and it was close enough
for them to win, it would have been an ugly win.
Considered to be an ugly win, you you still keep
the conversations and the whispers at a minimum. Now that
you lose a game the way that they did last evening,

(11:57):
it just it fuels the fire of having a quarterback
in the wings that in your mind you're saying, can
he make us a better offense? And that's now going
to continue to be the conversation. Is this is this
a move that should be made when Russell Wilson is

(12:20):
able to play? And and so that's that's going to
be a reality. That's what you know. Those are going
to be the questions that that Mike Tomlin is going
to have to answer. And that's going to be a
question that probably exists in not only the media's heads,

(12:40):
but it's going to be a question that exists possibly
in some of the players that are on this team's
head as well. And how does your team, how does
your team move forward in a healthy manner? If that's
the situation that you're facing, well, they try to think
that's where Steelers are right now.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
They turn to Kyle Allen.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
I don't know if anybody had that before the season,
that Kyle Allen would get a snap before Russell Wilson
in the regular season, but that did happen last night
after Justin Fields went down to get checked. Now, Mike
Tomlin did speak postgame about the state of his team
the close game, and he had a really, really great

(13:22):
way to put it.

Speaker 6 (13:23):
You know, I just told the team there's a fine
line between drink and wine and squashing grapes in our business.
And you know, that's an example of it. You know,
that ball was on the ground right there in the
red area, and that's the difference.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
You know what's funny about he's not lying by and
would that happened.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
I was like, Oh, Pittsburgh's gonna win, by the way
is over.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
That's one of the better plays I've ever seen at
the goal line by Landon Roberts diving over the diving
over the over the line like that, the old LeVar
leap therefore set.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
It reminded me of old school football. Yeah, that was fun.
That was fun. You know, you know it's funny. This
is this is before your time.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
You didn't play against Reggie Bokshitt, Notre Dame, right, that
was before you LeVar.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Yeah, I'm way older than you guys. So no, no, no, no, no,
no no no.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
Reggie Brooks no, Reggie Brooks me. Yeah, yeah, that's I thought.

Speaker 5 (14:17):
So.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
There was a snowball game though against Penn State.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
Against Penn State, Yeah, yeah, and there's like an iconic photo.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Do you remember seeing the heavy photo of the top.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Yeah, And so, like I whenever I go, I always
think about that photo when I see like moments like that,
and I'm like, man, I feel like that's almost not
even like allowed nowadays, Like depending on the contact you
would have had, Like they'll probably try to outlaw it
at some point in time.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
But that's what makes football what it is.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
That was an unbelievable play, one of the best of
the entire weekend.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Yeah, it was awesome, but you know it didn't matter
because Dak Prescott does what he does, comes up clutch
and throws a touch.

Speaker 5 (14:53):
That's what you're going with, That's what I'm going with.
It's a painful loss when a Steelers fan has to
hear that they lost to a few teams and Dallas
is one of them. It's just not it's just not
something that sits well with Steeler fans. I'll speak as
a fan first in this moment, it's it's not something

(15:14):
that we're okay with. And the Raiders are one of
those teams. Uh, There's just like teams, a few teams that,
outside of knowing the obvious of what's in the AFC North,
the teams that you just shouldn't lose to. There are
a few teams that historically, you know, tradition, legacy, you know, wise,

(15:40):
you just should not lose to that team based upon
things that have happened in the past. And Dallas is
one of those teams. And and so I'm sure there
are a lot of pissed off U fans in Pittsburgh
this morning. Me myself, I overslept because I was upset.
I stayed up to watch.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
That s and.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
I had to go to sleep thinking about the fact
that our Pittsburgh Steelers lost such a close game, and
there was a tad bit, maybe a touch of depression
that that was a part of how I felt.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
When calls it that, oftentimes too, he will call his
his rationale for his actions. He will also say it's
it's because he's sad, an act of depression.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Yeah, yeah, that's what Lee will call it. Sometimes.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
Interesting, I mean, thanks Buddy, Hey, buddy, Buddy appreciated, Buddy,
Well it is.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
Knox with you. So we are gonna have the usuals
coming up later on.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
We do have.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Another edition in case you missed it. Later on this hour.
We're also going to have an FSR IRS. We discussed
the long weekend for the crew here on Fox Sports Radio,
and we'll close up shop with another edition of Lee's Leftovers, which,
by the way, is running on fumes, Running on fumes.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
We have tried lately. Last chance today, Pal, you got me,
don't mess this up. You're coming off a weekend. You
still have a lot more stuff and leftover. Brady, you
got to understand what you're talking to Lee.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Last call for Lee's Leftovers, Last call, and we will
figure out whether or not there is a.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
For alcohol e not for food for alcohol.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
All of it is yours here as we take you
all the way up until nine am Eastern time, six
o'clock Pacific. But coming up next here from the Tirak
dot Com studios, They're.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
For real, They're for real.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Whatever you thought before the season, they have proved a
lot of you wrong.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
We'll tell you who they are. That's next.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington and
then Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
So the game the day started in the NFL was
a long ass day and it started all the way
over in London, and you had the Vikings and the Jets, which.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
I mean, you tell me what's the bigger story here.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Is it the fact that the Minnesota Vikings before the
season had a win total projection of six and a half.
That was the total that was out there and they
already had five wins. Or is it the fact that
that was one of the worst performances of Rogers' career
in that situation, I.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Mean, being forty years old and watching him play that
game probably wasn't as surprising as the Vikings have been
this season. I mean, let's just go back before the
season and the decisions that the Vikings made. They passed
on paying Kirk Cousins, they passed on paying Daniel Hunter,

(18:58):
they replaced both of him with first round picks in
JJ McCarthy and Dallas Turner. Now Dallas turns out an
impact JAJ McCarthy has to be able to play it
at all. So if you would have said before the season,
you're going in with a rookie quarterback you draft in
the first round, and you're replacing your edge rusher with
a guy who's, you know, a rookie. He's got a

(19:20):
ton of upside, but he's gonna have to learn the
ropes a little bit, and they're gonna be arguably the
best team in the NFL. Out of said, yeah, that's nuts.
I did not foresee the Vikings. I mean some of us,
I believe picking them to be dead last in the
division that would be okay. I wasn't sure exactly who,
but I was pretty sure it was you. So, so

(19:41):
when you really phrase the question that way, that the
fact that there are two games fromitting the air over
of their preseason over underwin lost total, I would say
the Vikings have been the bigger surprise, and the fact
that Sam Darnold's playing out of his mind that's been
the bigger surprise.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
However, we get the Jets at some point. But LeVar
to you man.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
I mean, listen, y'all know what I'm gonna say.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
I told you, uh, you can't be surprised.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
Then I'm not surprised, which is why you picked the Vikings,
then I did. I do believe I picked the Vikings.
I do believe I'm not surprised, And in fact, I
said repeatedly that this New York Jets team will struggle,

(20:32):
and they will struggle to hit double digit wins, and
they more than likely will miss the playoffs. I think
that's what I said. So if we're going to go
with which one is more surprising, of course, it would
be the Vikings being at the record that they're at
right now, because quite frankly, I did not find it

(20:54):
to be surprising that the New York Jets are not winning,
and I do not find delight in the fact that
I am correct. I just think that, you know, it
is what it is as it applies to what their

(21:15):
level of accomplishment has been thus far. Now, with that
being said, I would not have said I would attribute
a loss to fall at the feat in the blame
of the quarterback, and that's just something that I would

(21:37):
not have thought. But now that this one in particular
does reek of poor quarterback play. Now the question becomes,
when asked the question of what do you do? Does
the response come back and is it suffice to say

(21:59):
the coach should probably hold guys accountable, in fact, should
hold one guy in particular accountable for the way that
they played and move forward with the understanding that you
can't play that way.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Just raise his questions.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
You know, because when you're that person that takes those
little looks at coaches or at players, or have interesting
quotes and comments that follow games, you know, when you
didn't win, you know how things should be, you know, handled,
and how they play out. It just always creates this

(22:42):
feeling that, well, what happens if it's you?

Speaker 1 (22:48):
What if?

Speaker 5 (22:48):
What if the blame solely falls at no one else's
feet except yours? And so to me, I think when
you're that type of person, you don't receive the type
of grace that you could possibly receive being Aaron Rodgers.

(23:09):
When you're the guy who says some of the things
or has some of the shenanigans I'll say that take
place on the field that the camera's eyes can can
capture and replay over and over again, it just makes
for interesting conversation the day after when when a quarterback

(23:34):
of his stature plays the way he played.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
I was thinking about this and watching the game, what
are you thinking, do the Vikings have staying power?

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Like is this a teeth that's just on a heater
right now? And they're going to simmer down?

Speaker 2 (23:49):
And then I look at their schedule and I go,
you can argue the most difficult part of their schedule
they've already gotten through and they're undefeated, and so they've
got the Lions and they've got a bye week, and
this team's a legitimate candidate to be the one seed
in the NFC.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
Yeah, And it's just it's why it's such an easier
path to go through the NFC, because you can kind
of have teams like this that emerge and just surprise you.
It's harder to do that in the AFC. We could
talk to Vikings more if you'd like. I'd rather go
back to the Jets only because that was the worst
game I've seen Aaron Rodgers play in a while, and

(24:28):
for these reasons, like if you go back through the interceptions,
I mean the pick six, he gets fooled based on
the pressure look and he throws right into where the
dropper Van Ginkle was. The next Picky throws completely forced,
had a check down right in front of him. Maybe
he's feeling the pressure of the moment because they couldn't
get anything going, but throws a terrible pick then and

(24:49):
then the last one, I mean that bull had no shot.
It was low inside on a downfield go ball to
Mike Williams, who.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Didn't help him mount at all. I mean never turned
around to find the football.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
But honestly, it was so poorly thrown and given the
you know, his ankle injury, what he's dealing with right now,
that probably played a little bit of a factor in
the inaccuracy of the throw, but also.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Didn't need to make that throw at that moment.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
You know, you could have could have gotten a first down,
still a chance to go to the end zone. The
more concerning thing is when the Jets have lost this season,
it hasn't been because of just awful play by Rogers.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
That was awful, and you.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Know, whatever you want to chalk it up to, he
hasn't looked like that the entire season, and now he's
gonna be dealing with a nagging injury and if he's
gonna if that's gonna resurface or that's where this offense is.
It doesn't matter if you get DeVonta Adams, that's not
gonna help this team. Like, he's got to play better
at this point, because I think there's a lot of

(25:52):
guys who are getting frustrated.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
I mean, thank god they got Garrett.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Wilson the ball on a series where they seemed rather
with much intent to get him the ball in every
possible capacity. But at some point, you know, I don't
know if it was LeVar Jonas said somebodys to hold
him accountable the coach does, Like this is one of
the differences when I think you've got a superstar quarterback,
there's times where when that superstar is the guy who's

(26:17):
ultimately leading the team and dictating what happens out there,
if he's not aware enough to hold himself accountable, it
messes with the chemistry of the rest of the team
because you know, everyone's watching the film going, what the
hell was he doing here? I mean, he took a
sack on another look, and look, Brian Flora does.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
An unbelievable job.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
He's making a case for why he should be a
head coach again, and he does unbelievable job scheming things up.
But Rogers's played too long, like to be able to
take a sack too and not look to the hot side,
or not be able to see who's gonna be the
free rusher, or not adjust the protection to bring in
the tight end and have him blocked to and have
a seven man protection which negates a lot of the

(26:57):
stuff Flores does. I mean, all those things that he
knows he can do and has it as tool belt.
It's crazy to me to watch that. How bad that was,
and yet you know he's a first bout Hall of Fame,
he's a four time MVP. That was an awful performance
and now and now you're worried about what it's going

(27:17):
to look like moving forward with his ankle. At one
point in the game, I was like, dude, he needs
just to get healthy, Like there's no point in trying
to play this game any further. Let Tyrod Taylor go
in there. That's why you got him on the roster
is for moments like this.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
Now, Rogers, did want to play this for you? Because
you guys have asked for him, did you want to
play you guys have asked for him to be accountable
for his poor play. Here he was afterwards.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
You know, I was blowing my standard.

Speaker 7 (27:40):
I just found out I've never thrown two picks in
the first quarter before, So that's the first. One of
us cost obviously seven, and the other you know it
could cost three. So in a game where you lose
by six, you know, plays like that are exponentially highlighted.
So three turnouts for me is definitely out of character,
and I'm disappointed.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
I forget give him, he owned up to it. We're good,
back on track teams going to the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
I'm ready.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
I am ready, let's go. You guys can sit here
and swim in the negative side of the pool.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Not me.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
This team's I'm not giving up because the Patriots are
so bad and the Dolphins, even with the win, it's
like they got they're staying afloat right now.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Literally, like I can't I can't believe we gave it
that much coverage that game yesterday.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
Those teams are terrible. That was rough, But that that's
what gives you hope, is I mean Buffalo? Yes, I
mean the only reason the entire division didn't lose was
because it was impossible with Miami.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Playing you know what.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
But the way that you felt, you felt like the
way the game was is like nobody won that game.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yeah, the AFC East actually went on for yesterday, Queen,
we'll run with that. That was not pretty, but yeah,
you know, the Jets, there's still some hope there, so
we'll see see how it plays out. It is Two

Today we turn it over to our executive producer, Lee
di Lap.

Speaker 8 (30:13):
Good Monday morning, everybody. Good morning, Jonas, Good morning, Brady,
Good morning the bar. Hey guys, Casey missed this. Heyvar
Hey guys, Casey missed this. It's been twenty two years.
Twenty two years since the first time we've seen this
happened yesterday, Gardner entry through two interceptions, one of those

(30:34):
interceptions being to a mister Riley Moss, the first white
cornerback to make an interception in the NFL in twenty
two years.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Hit the button top, Brady.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
Yeah, did it mark, please hit the button bad please,
let's edge.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
Thank you. I don't know how that's racist. Why is
that not racist? I mean, I'm just pointing out something
that happened. That's a real story. No, heylee.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
Hey, you know, first first white cornerback with an interception
in over two decades. That's a big deal. Why good
for you, Riley Moss?

Speaker 1 (31:10):
Why is that? Why does it have to be such
a deal up top?

Speaker 3 (31:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (31:15):
Why why can't we just judge this man off of
the content of his character?

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Because we can't color of his skin, can't.

Speaker 4 (31:24):
That's just what people see, man, Trust me, I tried
how to get people to see me for man.

Speaker 5 (31:29):
I do not subscribe to this in case you missed it.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
Just I mean, here's all I know. You know, like
when I saw the var he didn't shake my hand.
When he came up, he dapped me up, gave me
a hug. You know, I felt like I was you know,
when guys line up to shake Barack Obama's hand, and
like there's certain guys he DAPs up, certain guys he
shakes their hand.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
I was one of those guys got dapped up. Nice,
very true.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Yeah you seem different, Yeah, there's something about like pep
in your step and yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
My dad's name is Tyrone. Oh yeah, what do you
want to do it? Y?

Speaker 5 (32:03):
I tend to agree with Q on that.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
You know what it is? What else?

Speaker 8 (32:08):
Keeping it with that Raiders Broncos game in case you
missed it, DeVante Adams wasn't playing in that game, and
Max Crosby, his teammate, was asked about it later in
the locker room.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Take a listen, that's what it is. You think I'm
I'm not used to going on. Here's what it is.
I'm dealing with it my whole career. So that's what
it is.

Speaker 8 (32:24):
You know.

Speaker 9 (32:25):
Dvante is my boy. I love Davante and he's gonna
do what he's gonna do. Preaking for him, wish him
the best. He's you know, he's not healthy right now.
He's got to get healthy. But we're focused on the Raiders,
you know what I mean. We're focused on who's here
now and we're focused on winning. So I gotta find
ways to do that.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
M hmmm. Do you think I'm not used to it.
I've been dealing with my whole career.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
It's just kind of he's like a guy in a
really bad relationship, but he can't get out of it,
and he's like, hey.

Speaker 4 (32:51):
Whatever did you do? You hear him yelling at Bonnicks. Yes,
Nix is trying to communicate everything. He literally walks down
the line. It's like they can't hear you.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
Can I hear you?

Speaker 7 (33:05):
Bro?

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Yeah, there were some of those Mike yesterday because Coleman
Shelton the Bear center was yelling protections at Caleb Williams
and you could hear them going back and forth.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
But yeah, that was a different one though. That was
a center correcting the quarterback, which usually it's the other
way around, or it's it's the quarterback telling the center
what to do.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
And that was one where he was like kind of
like Leaves.

Speaker 4 (33:26):
Like, hey, all right, man, I like, oh gosh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
We're going this way doing this.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
I just man Max Crosby like and he by the way,
he took some shots at Mike Mike Lombardi yesterday postgame
where he was just kind of, you know, calling him
a clown, saying that he wanted to be elsewhere or whatever,
and like he's fully committed, like he doesn't want to
be anywhere else, Like he wants to stay there. I
just wonder how long is that gonna last? Because he's
been through how many redos and startovers in Vegas thus

(33:55):
far in his career, and it feels like they're gonna
have another one. Here's rough by the ways, the best guys.

Speaker 8 (34:04):
In case you missed the uh the Arkansas upset over
Tennessee this weekend, there was a big.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
Uh hold on? Did you guys say at the end
of that game finished? Oh my god?

Speaker 4 (34:16):
Are they not teaching any quarterbacks nowadays? Situational awareness? Is
it just like, hey, dude, you have six seconds left.
You can't dance around forever. We's gonna go to the
head zone.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
Okay, when would it? God? I can't do it.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
I mean, but you know, at least they had some
company with some other upsets in college football, so they
weren't isolated.

Speaker 8 (34:39):
Well, guys, weekend, In case you didn't miss the fans
storming the field in that game, you might have missed
Amuri big O' Thomas shoving fans to the ground who
were running into him. He has sense apologized on Twitter, saying,
I apologize for my actions during the chaotic post game scene,
even though we got run into multiple times by fans.
While trying to exit the field. That doesn't condone my
actions or to find my character. I sincerely apologize. I
wish Arkansas and their fans all the best.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Big o's apologize for what they ran out of the field.
You run on out of the field, like I was
telling LeVar List a couple of weeks ago. I remember
telling Labar, I was like, man, that's the Sarenhetti out there,
like you run out of the field. You better be
ready for the getty, and they weren't ready for it,
so you shouldn't apologize. They should apologize to him.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
Fastards, that's right.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
You know Jill will be killed out there. You know
what I mean, wunted.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
How do you know I think you'd be excited about.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
I'm ready for the getty, baby.

Speaker 3 (35:35):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
Lee definitely getting knocked out.
