Speaker 1 (00:02):
It's the best of two pros and a couple Joe
with lamar As, Rady Winn and Jonas Knots on Fox
Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
You know, it took a little while, okay, but Russell
was starting to cook a little bit.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
He was cooking, man. That kitchen was getting hot. He
was starting to cook. It was cold at first. Those
those moon balls were coming in, man, just dropping from
the sky. It didn't start off well, no, it did well,
it didn't matter how start the master I finishes that one.
Did you hear Collinsworth too, just talking about that. He
like loves the Russell Wilson deep ball. This guy do
(00:39):
the whole impression, Jonas do it.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
I mean, like the thing about Russell Wilson, He's always
at a knack for the deep ball.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
It's just a pretty ball.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
It's like it basically touches the sky, drops right in
the bucket.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
As a receiver, you can't ask for any no more
than that.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Golly, but it was a fun night in Pittsburgh.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
They had the throwback UNI's going.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
They were running the football, they were playing good defense.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Those were considered throwbacks. Well, yeah, those like those nineties jerseys.
They had the old school face mask and everything. Okay,
I must have missed that. I just I thought that
looked like they're normal uniforms. I mean it was you know,
it was a different Pittsburgh Stiller.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
It was a different looking offense all of a sudden
when they could throw the ball downfield.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Yeah, a completely different offense. And also you got a
sense once he got going, especially like the end of
the first second quarter, you're like, Okay, this is why
this must have been what they saw. And you know
OTA's and some of Mini camp, this is why they
they said he's the guy when he's healthy, because it
looked drastically different. A couple of throws he made on
(01:52):
the one boot to his left when he had that
had stopped and then kind of sidearm fling it. There's
not many quarterbacks in the NFL who can make that
row and make it accurately where the tight ends. Stilton
catch it on the run and go. So we even forget
the moon ball. He made a couple of throws that
looked like, honestly, what you saw from him last year
in Denver. The problem is everyone wrote him off after
(02:14):
his first year in Denver. I don't know a lot
of people actually watched him last year, and because he
got traded, people were like, oh, this guy, you know,
he can't do it anymore. He can still do it
when he's healthy. And the way he played last night
once he got rolling, gave you flashes of really what
the Steelers team could be if they have a passing
game like that.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yeah, I would like to admit now I was wrong
about the Steelers.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
They're good. Defense is legit.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
If the offense gets this from Russell Wilson, I don't
see why they can't make noise.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Your Steelers are rolling labar.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
Yeah, already make a noise, you guys, go ahead and
keep talking about it. I'm curious to just listen to you,
because all I'm going to do is say what I've
always been saying, which.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Is what was that that you weren't a fan of
Russell Wilson.
Speaker 4 (02:57):
About both of them, I wasn't a fan of them
subbing them out during during a win. I wasn't a
fan of that. But what I did say was, if
you're going to do it, you need to get results.
If you're going to do it, I mean, they could
turn into a compromising situation, which it still could because
(03:21):
I don't think that they beat a good team. That's
that's that's kind of my take on it. You know,
I don't think they beat a good team.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Oh you mean DeVonta Adams didn't fix everything for the Jets.
That means it would be.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
To me, that's the bigger storyline here is that you've
put a head coach that's a first time head coach
in a losing position. And it's not going to be
Aaron Rodgers that is the savior of the New York Jets.
It's not going to be the addition of of Davante Adams.
I mean, Breeze Hall's their whole team. Brees Hall led
(03:55):
them in rushing and receiving, Like you added Davante Adams
to have Breese Hall lead you and receiving yards, I
don't know. And then the defense, I mean, I mean,
I know they're a top rated defense. I know they're
a good defense, but I just think that this defense
(04:16):
does not show up in big games, doesn't show up
in big games. Nauj ran for for I mean, he
had like a career type of day. You know, they
were having fun with with the Jets. I just said
to me, I just I don't think it's a good team.
And that's kind of I think the Steelers did what
(04:36):
the Steelers were gonna do when we said we looked
at there the Jets schedule and said, where do they
get a win? Where do the Jets get a win?
I think the statement was they're going to lose the
next one. Then they go and play Pittsburgh. That's a
possible there's a possibility that they could win that game,
but I don't see them winning it. So when what
(04:58):
he said we're gonna win immediately, We're gonna win right now,
You're gonna have two losses in the barrel before you
get the chance to say, we gotta feel good story
in winning a game, and that's going to be against
the Patriots. Like that's what that's that's what's been stated.
I'm not a good team.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Well, I mean, but it was a good night for
you because you've been a die hard fan of Russell
Wilson for so long and also a critic of the Jets.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
We could go.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Back, we can go back to to the Steelers. I mean,
if I'm telling you what I saw from the Steelers,
you did see an offense that evolved during the course
of the game where there was more, There was more excitement, there,
there was more. It just seemed like there was more
watching them play, like the playbook, there was more.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I did I did see a few. I did see
a few.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
I did see a few situations where an idiot where
the you know, that's that's cute, he's feeling good.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
I did see.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
I did see situations where you clearly saw Justin Fields
would have used his legs versus you know, probably trying
to throw the ball. Yeah, you saw. I mean it
was there were obvious moments there. But again, I think
Russell's command of the offense it was definitely very very
(06:24):
It was way more pronounced than what we've seen with
Justin Fields all season.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Yeah, and I'm sure it was like that when he
first got there, you know what I mean, Look, he's
a guy who's won a super Bowl, he's been to two,
he's he's played a long time. It's just a different feeling,
like there's there's something different that comes along with that
when you go to a new team. Because you could
sit there and watch all the guys do it be
like that's this isn't how it's supposed to be done,
you know, So I think there's elements of that that Again,
(06:50):
I think the team probably saw, the staff probably saw.
He just hasn't been healthy. And you know, after watching
some of the injuries we saw yesterday in particular, which
I'm sure we'll get to some of those. You know,
and you experienced at LaVar like you get some tightness
in the calf, you know, Achille, you something like that.
You don't want to go through that. So what I
(07:10):
love the most is when Russell Wilson. You know, it's
not just the moon ball, it's some of the touch
throws too. I mean, he he made some beautiful throws
at times prior to youth. On another one made it
unbelievable catchdown the field where he just kind of dropped
it in. It's like that element of his game where
I love watching him throw the football because he's got
(07:31):
that knack for making those different types of throws. And
it's nothing against justin fields, you know, but he doesn't
do that and he can't do that, not the same
way Russell Camp or some of the other quarterbacks that
you see in the NFL, where they canna make these
touch throws. It was something that collins Worth kind of
pointed out in the end zone, Like, hey, man, you
like to the Pickings touchdown. He's going if this is
(07:53):
justin fields, it's a different type of ball. It's a
flatter ball. It's harder for him to catch or adjust to.
And he's right like Russell the time he was at
Wisconsin or even NC State, He's always thrown this ball
that just is a catchable ball that has touch and
guys can make plays on it. And you know, George
Pickens benefited from it. Friar Youth benefited from it. Van
(08:13):
Jefferson gets involved, like come to your point, there's just
more guys involved, man. And then and that's one of
the biggest differences is you get so many different guys
catching the football making plays that now feel like they're
part of the offense.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
George Pickens is so much fun to watch, but I
could I bet he's a real handful for Mike Tomlin
because there's just things that he does that are just
just strange.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Like what well, like there was over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
You know, Tomlin's like, yeah, we're gonna keep the decision
in house and this and that, and like you know,
about a half hour later, George Pickens talks with the
media and goes, yeah, so you know, Russ was taking
first team reps because he's probably gonna get the start.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Okay, that's fun.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
He like just all the the back and forth that
he's had over the past couple of years. Tomlins talked
about it like you could just get.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Him to channel I just wanted to hear you say it.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
We just want to get him to channel that into
some positive play. But when he gets the ball near
him and around him, he can make any catch like
that juggling catch he made like he was awesome, and
it's you know, he's had a decent year, but he
hasn't gotten in the end zone. And Russell Wilson's first
game as a Steeler quarterback, he's in the end zone.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
You know, it's interesting just going to the other receiver
for a moment. The Raiders had the same outcome that
they would have had if they had Davante Adams. Oh,
I just I'm I'm just interested in the idea of
thinking the Raiders unloaded a guy that probably in their
(09:49):
minds they felt like, you know, it's not there's not
that much of a significant difference that he's bringing to
our team at this point.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Yeah, he probably STI would have had a hamstring injury, right, I.
Speaker 4 (10:02):
Mean, well that's for certain, right, But it looked like
he still had a hamstring on ir out there on
the field last night.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
You know. For all to talk about the chemistry him
and Aaron Rodgers have, it didn't feel that way. Now,
I will admit this. It looked like it did open
some things up for Geara Wilson, for Alan Lazard, even
Brisaw to some degree as far as just them being
so concerned with some of the different pieces they had,
allowing Brisaw to kind of get his catches underneath and
(10:32):
all that right too, So there was that element of it.
But even then to your original point, like this offense
just loses steam man, And it's tough when you make
a play caller change during the season because the reality is, again,
this is what Aaron Rodgers once in his offense when
(10:52):
you compare it to all these other And I'll try
to find some stats to back this up, but like
when you watch enough tape, you just you notice things
and you're like, oh, I've a hunch on this. They
don't move before the snap of the football. It was
how it was the end of the Green Bay it's
how it has been now with the Jets, and it's
impacting the entire offensive output. It's impacting, you know, I
(11:14):
think his ability to adapt to the times of what
you need to do to be successful. And there's been
some critics of this. I mean, Rex Ryan probably more
critical than anyone.
Speaker 5 (11:24):
Lee.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Do we have the sound on that? Can we play it?
Speaker 5 (11:25):
Yeahs if his name went Rogers on the back of
his jersey, he doesn't even look the same, right, And
so to me, it's like, you.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
Know, we're blaming that.
Speaker 5 (11:35):
I love the way were blaming a receiver because you
can't throw the back shoulder fate. He's been bouncing them.
So to me, it's like, you know, there is no excuses.
You get your guy, you got your receiver and all that.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
You can.
Speaker 5 (11:46):
Let Mike Williams go down the road somewhere where he'll
probably kick ass.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
But it's amazing because.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
Aaron Rodgers only played one good game all season. And
the thing that kills me is nobody says it why
I'm afraid of Aaron rodg Because you're going.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
To say some who gives a ratch. I'm telling the truth.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
I watched it. I've been in around this game all
my life. He looks like a below average quarterback. Now, kid,
does he do we expect better? He better be better
or this team's not going anywhere.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
That team isn't going anywhere. Geez. I mean he talk
about how easy their schedule is too. There's a lot
of truth to that. I mean, they've got an easy
slate ahead of them. But he's got to play better.
They all have to play better. But at two and five, man,
I mean, it's it's the odds are starting to work
heavily against you and their ability to be able to
(12:35):
do anything. You know, almost halfway through the season. I mean,
I don't know that Rogers agrees.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
You guys want to hear him like he's actually pointing
fingers that's there. No, Yeah, he's not Aaron. Well he's
saying he needs to be pointed at hisself. Yeah, he's saying,
don't listen to guys like LeVar, take a listen.
Speaker 6 (12:50):
Okay, we got to somehow keep the belief in the
locker room and start a run. Can't win ten in
a row unless you win the first one.
Speaker 7 (12:59):
You can get every I get to keep them believe
and it seems like a lot of the same mistakes.
Speaker 6 (13:02):
Stop listening to you guys. Number one, Number two gotta
be accountable.
Speaker 8 (13:10):
You know.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
I gotta play better.
Speaker 6 (13:12):
That's the key. I gotta play better. I gotta find
a way to run the ball better so we can
action pass. You know, I thought did some nice things
in the passing Ambreys. Obviously he had a couple of
really nice ones. Spread the ball around to Tag and Allen.
Mike had a nice conversion. But we gotta run the
ball better and I gotta play better.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
Yeah, makes he makes as many mistakes, if not more,
than anybody else on the team. Like I was watching
it kind of closely, because he does make it a
point to use accountable a lot, But then he uses
a lot of examples. Now this is this is a
first time I've heard him say, well, maybe maybe more
than one, but he has said I gotta play better.
(13:53):
Like maybe that's tongue in cheek, maybe he really means it.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
But he makes a lot of mistakes. He makes a
lot of mistakes during the course of a game. And
I'm just curious as to how much he's looking at
some of the things that are ailing this team, as
to what his accountability level is in the involvement of
(14:17):
what where they are right now. It's not a good team, man,
It's just it's not a good team. And for what
it's worth, he can say not listen to us. That's
not where the problem lies. The problem lies is now
you don't have a leader of your team because you
fired your head coach because you wanted him out of there.
I'm just saying that. I'm just saying that. But you
(14:39):
don't have a head coach. You got an interim head
coach that's been given an entire basically an entire season
under stressful, stressful circumstances, and you got a guy who
everybody is trying to appease and make happy. So it's
not about not listening to the media. It's really about
(14:59):
a a lot of what Q was saying, Are you
guys willing to try to adapt and to adjust to
what it is that's going to give you a winning
opportunity and how you do things process wise, not not
listening to the media.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
I mean, well, there's also this which can't be denied. Yeah,
he's going to be forty one in a few weeks.
Like maybe the expectation that people had for coming in
is they're looking at Rogers from seven, eight years ago
or maybe even recent when he was winning those MVPs,
and he's coming off a major injury and he's forty,
and you.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
Got Jordan Love and Green Bay dealing. Get rid of
your old ass. We got a dude up in here
dealing anyway.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
And just Toona's point, to compare it to another player
who's older, who's been productive, it's like Kirk Cousins. I
think you also see because they got watched yesterday, but
you also see a coming off an achilles coming off
that injury. It's just not quite moving the same. And
it's maybe a little bit more inconsistent at times too
(16:00):
as far as how that their body feels or how
they performed. But that was a game yesterday where you know,
I thought that that would be a lot more competitive
one in the case man oh man, but this is
very similar, kind of similar outcomes and the scores and
what it kind of looked like. It just didn't feel
like there was a lot there. And maybe that has
a little bit to do with it too. It's two
pros and a cup. Joe here on Fox Sports Radio. Yeah,
(16:22):
well one shoutout in real quick, Yeah, we get a
big round of applause, A big round of applause for
the DFL Raiders last night. That's right, my little cousin,
or excuse my nephew, Hendrix Hawk that won their championship
last night. Pretty cool little deal. I mean they stopped
in a mud hole in their opponent too. I believe
(16:45):
the final was thirty four to nothing. So running back
in linebacker, running back he plays, he plays with DM
wide receiver, so he kind of kind of do it all.
I actually trying to convince to play quarterback.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
But easy money, man, I got in the family business,
baby hot.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
I got him a minus business. I got him. We're
two chippers.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
Your your your uncle, your your uncle is is is
a pretty boy. You stay, stay with your daddy's family
business in uncle Vary your daddy.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
We to week too, chippers, baby, if you would have
saw him playing offense, you're gonna say he needs to
play on that side of the ball because he had
a nice a couple of nice long runs, one for
a touchdown. H it was getting after on defense. But
congrats to Fred Puggage, Fred Puggage Senior, a j Hawk.
All those guys.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
Right yesterday, better act who's saying they're not the actual Raiders.
Maybe Tom Brady needs to invest the not in DFL.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady, Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six a m. Eastern three am
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
So the Cleveland Rounds, who have been a bad team
all year long, Deshaun Watson has not been good.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
They've struggled.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
It took another weird turn yesterday when Deshaun Watson goes
down with a non contact injury. They show the replay
and you can clearly see his achilles explode. Like we've
seen it enough now to where everybody knows, Okay, that's it,
that's a wrap. We know what this is where we've
seen it many times before. And while he's out there,
(18:31):
Brown's fans were some Browns fans were cheering.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
The fact that he was injured.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
They went to DTR after that jamis I think did
DTR get a finger injury? I think it was later
and then that's why literally game came in. So you know,
Miles Garrett was upset about fans booing Deshaun Watson called him,
among other things, a model citizen, which is kind of wild,
(18:58):
but he is what it is. Jamis Winston took a
step further and decided to say this following.
Speaker 8 (19:05):
The game, though, I am very upset with the reaction
to a man that has had the world against him
for the past four years, and he put his body
and life on the line for this city every single day,
regardless of your perception, regardless of what you thought should.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
Happen with him.
Speaker 8 (19:29):
He committed every single day that I've been here, to
be the best that he can be for this team.
And I do not want the treatment that DeShawn Watson
has received from these passionate fans.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
I know you love this game.
Speaker 8 (19:47):
When I first got here, I knew these were some
amazing fans. But DeShawn was treated badly and now he
has to overcome another obstacle.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
A man, go ahead, buddy, No. I mean, look, look,
I can understand the frustration of all the players who
hear that, witness that, and go ooh, like that could
be me. And there's an element of that too. I mean,
you don't want to see that for any player. You
(20:19):
understand that the time they put in all the effort
they put into this game and what goes on behind
the scenes. So you hate to hear fans do that.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Okay, he hasn't
been a model citizen. I don't know any model citizen
that has had twenty two lawsuits twenty three lawsuits against
(20:39):
them and what he was alleged of doing, which again,
if he was innocent, you could have taken it to
court and all that he chose not to settle with
all of them, and beyond that. For Browns fans, I
would say this because obviously I'm from Columbus. I know
a lot of Browns fans. There are a lot of
(21:00):
people who when they signed him didn't feel great about
it in the sense of what he was being accused of.
And no matter what, I don't care if it's Miles Garrett,
James Winston, you can't detach what he was being accused
of in the game of football and everything else like
(21:20):
it all comes in as part of the baggage when
they brought on to Sean Watson, so he comes in
with all of this baggage. And there was a lot
of Cleveland Browns fans who were willing to look the
other way or accept it and accept him for his
past transgressions or even current as they were still going
(21:42):
on while he served his suspension and trying to figure
this whole thing out. Then you come down to the
performance aspect of it. It's never come close to living
up to the two hundred and thirty million dollars fully
guaranteed that he signed to come play for the Browns.
It's never up to everything they'd lost in that trade,
(22:03):
all the draft capital that now goes to the Houston
Texans and has allowed them to be a contender in
the same conference as you, and in fact, when he
wasn't on the field last year, the team then goes
on this miraculous run to win eleven games and goes
to the playoffs. So it only builds more to the
(22:24):
frustration of at some point you need the guy who's
being paid two hundred and thirty million dollars fully guaranteed
to perform like it. And I think the most upsetting
part about yesterday was this was probably his best game
of the season. Is that kind of fair to say?
A least the start that he got off to, he
(22:45):
was having one of the better games he's had this season,
maybe even as a brown and so for the injury
to take place now it stinks for him personally, but
I think we can all understand where a Browns fan
comes from. There's a lot of pent up aggravation about,
you know, just the signing in general, the performance and
(23:06):
what they've got up to this point. It doesn't make
booing for or cheering for a guy who gets hurt, right,
But there's also an element of them probably sitting there
saying like, hey man, we've invested a lot into this
guy and he has not lived up to everything else.
And on top of it, he's got a new lawsuit
(23:27):
that's out there that he just most recently settled, and
so there's just all these things on the outside that
I think have led to a breaking point of It
would have been one thing if he came in performed
at a really, really high level, was an MVP caliber
type quarterback during the tenure, to be able to deal
with the fact of all what he was allegedly doing
(23:48):
off the field. Now you get it to a point
where it's like everyone people want to move on. They're
so tired of talking about It's one thing to be
a bad football team. It's another thing to be a
bad football team when you have a guy who's alleged
doing what he's been doing off of the field hanging
over your head too. It just adds to kind of
the embarrassment, the frustration. So again, not advocating ever ever
(24:11):
for the cheering and all of that, but I think
you can understand why Browns fans are like, all right,
we just want to move on from this whole situation.
And unfortunately, I don't know if it'll come via this injury.
Obviously it's gonna be a torn achilles. He'll be out
for this year. I don't know what that means for
them heading into twenty twenty five. But I can see
(24:31):
both sides of this. Even as bad as it is
to hear them cheering one of guy's down on the
ground like that, dealing with a torn achilles.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Yeah, I don't think that that's appropriate, obviously. I mean,
that's just common sense. It's not appropriate to cheer while
somebody's hurt. I also would say, in twenty twenty four,
hitting into twenty five, please don't use putting your life
on the line in your quarterback in the national football
(25:00):
that does those those two things do not go hand
in hand. So that's a little overstated by James putting
his life on the line.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
No he's not.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
He's playing football a quarterback in the National Football League.
I would say, you blow if you sneeze on a
quarterback the wrong way, it's a penalty these days. Your
life is not on the line as a quarterback. So
that's first and foremost all right, But then secondly, the
whole idea, he went down the lane of being where
he's from the Deep South and the family or element
(25:30):
of it and this that and the other and what
that represents, and he wasn't raised that way. Well, we
don't know how each one of those fans are raised.
Because you're not their family.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
You are her. You are a participant.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
On the team that that loves their team.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
That's what you are.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
So sometimes we get a little carried away with this
whole idea of the fan is the family.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
No they're not.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
They're your fan, and generally they're a fan of the team.
And if they're a fan of you, they are exactly that,
a fan of you. They don't know your middle name,
they don't, they don't. Maybe they they they're fanatic. They
might I mean, there's there's certain things that they're just
not going to be privy to. And the same to
you as a player, as it applies to these people's lives.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
You're not their family.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
Like it's a it's a it's a pronounced way of
trying to endear yourself to your fan base. But make
no mistake about it, it's a business, and the business
is to grow your fan base so that you gain
support and the way that you you can in ticket
sales and merch and TV watching ratings and all that stuff.
(26:47):
So you're there to perform. You're there to perform. So
when when you get to a point of where you
feel like you can justify a fan not being a
fan based upon on the elements of family, you're living
in a world of delusion. And that's you know, that's
(27:07):
that's it is what it is. But listen, the dude
hurt himself. You never want to see a guy get hurt.
It looked like he was. I mean, he was crying,
he was genuinely upset, and and you know what I
would say in the moment, keeping it in the moment,
I felt bad for the dude.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
I really did.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
I haven't I haven't had any type of really hard
moments where I was like, man, I feel bad for
the dude, like just because I have daughters and I
just you know, for me, it just it's never sat
well with me. You know, all of the allegations that
that we've heard. But I didn't invest anything emotionally towards
(27:48):
it personally. I just you know, I just didn't. I'm
not a fan, that's all. But I did feel for him.
I did feel for him to see like how upset
he was, because you're I mean, if I read his
tears like red is his emotions in my own way,
I guess it was like that was just a total
(28:09):
disappointment of maybe in his mind he thought that he
could play his way out of where he is, like
because ultimately, if he doesn't play himself out of where
he is currently, all the money in the world doesn't
remove what you're going to have to live with walking
around day to day during his career and post career,
(28:33):
it's over.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Like football in a lot of ways, you can say
football was the escape, like he was. He got an
opportunity on a big money deal to go out and
just play football and resume his career when a lot
of people think, you know, maybe you shouldn't have gotten
the opportunity and he's sucked.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
You go out and get an MVP Jonas, you go
out there and you win a super Bowl. We've seen
it happen in two thousand, right, we saw it happen.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Look, there was stuff against Ben Roethlisberger early.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
In his career.
Speaker 4 (28:59):
It was stuff against ray Yeah, I mean like that
to me, that's like the ultimate like and what he
did was he played himself out of what took place
the year before and there was no looking back. And
there's still some people that have hard feelings towards it,
but for the most part, people really really respecting it.
Meyer the dude that Ray Lewis is, whether he did
(29:22):
it or not, the you know he was. I mean,
obviously something happened, but it was all like kind of
like moving on. It's because he's the MVP of the
super Bowl, wins the super Bowl and you keep playing
well from there. Deshaun Watson has never done anything to outperform.
Like you said, Q, they made exceptions. There were exceptions
(29:45):
made for this dude. There were exceptions made and doing
this contract that you would have said to yourself, maybe
we should feel a little uncomfortable about making this type
of investment in him. But if we're going to get
the ROI on how he performed, then this is just
a distant memory for all of us.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
But he has not.
Speaker 4 (30:04):
Played well, which gives you the ability to focus in
on everything that's wrong.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
And that's how sports. Oh, that's how it works. He
has not played well for five years. It will be
before he's able to be healthy and back on a
football field. And I think that's maybe where the tears
come from, is the realization that, to your point, couldn't
play his way out of any of it or get
back at his good graces. And like I said before,
(30:30):
I don't know what this means for twenty twenty five.
I've continually said and I will continue to say, this
is a team that has been strapped to this quarterback
now because of the stipulations in the contract, because of
all the guaranteed money. So if they really want to
move on, they can, but someone's going to have to
(30:52):
take the fall now with him not being in there
as quarterback. This leads to one of a few things happening.
You know, they either stick with him, stick by them,
and they let dtr or Jamis be the guy the
rest of the season and see what they could do.
Maybe they have an incredible run like they had last
year and they find their way somehow into the playoffs.
(31:14):
It seems rather unlikely the way this year is going,
but it could happen. Still a lot of football left.
There's also the element of they could be so bad
that they put themselves in position to draft his replacement.
And if that's the case, the running's already on the wall.
And do you want your quarterback, who would potentially be
(31:36):
a rookie that you'd be drafting top five, Do you
want him to have to just sit there on the bench.
Do you want them to learn from this guy or
would you rather say we want to clean slate. If
that's the case, it's going to be expensive to move
on from him, So I mean it could cost somewhere.
I think Albert's throw out the numbers A one hundred
and seventy millions still are left in the cap. You know,
(31:56):
over the course of the contract, you'd have to figure
out ways how to get around it. To post June
one designation, there'd have to be a big bonus that's
paid out to him there's a lot of ways of
reducing that number on the cap, but you still owe
him the cash. And look, Jimmy HASLM is not hard
up for cash. You know. We heard about the stadium
being put in brook Park, Ohio, which part of that
(32:18):
comes because he's got the cash to be able to
do it and build out a facility that will be
one of the best in the NFL and be able
to host all types of events throughout the course of
the year. So they have the cash to do so.
But someone's got to take the fall blame for it.
And I don't know if it's Kevin Stefancy, I don't
know if it's Andrew Berry. I'm not sure who it is.
But it would be hard to stick to your guns
(32:41):
and say, no, we're going to keep everything the same,
you know, just keep pressing on moving forward, seeing the
level of play, and then coming off of an injury,
not that he's old in any means, maybe thirty years
old next year, but coming off of that injury too,
knowing how how hard it is to get back to
one hundred percent, and then looking at his style of
playing his game. If he can't scramble, if he can't move,
(33:04):
as well. That's going to be debilitating for him as
a quarterback because that was a huge piece to what
made him so special during his time in Houston and
even maybe in moments in Cleveland. So there's just a
lot of question marks now around this team. But to
reiterate the initial point, I mean, look, it's that's the
(33:28):
there never should be ever. You know, that's sort of
cheering during an injury. But there's also an element of
a fan base that has been pushed to the brink
of what they have had to absorb and deal with
over the course of the last few.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
Years, you know, just super quick. What I'm wondering is
what about insurance Like that's like, can you claim total
like it's a total total disability.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
I don't think you can from that. I mean, you've
got two examples of quarterbacks who are both you know, playing,
So there might there could be a short term policy
that maybe they picked up on him. I'm sure they
did once the contract was fully guaranteed, but it's husually
it's usually only for permittive disability and in this case,
or you know, if he can't ever play again, and
(34:16):
I'm you know, or if.
Speaker 4 (34:17):
They say he can't right, Like if they have a
doctors sit there and say like, no, he's not, this
is not we can't he can't pass this physical Like
I know he could get probably other other opinions doctors to. Yeah,
but if if, if some way, somehow they were able
to I just wonder, is there is there a loophole
or some way where they can kind of push this
(34:39):
off onto and I know what happens in the NBA,
And the reality is.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
It's not going to change the issue with the cap,
so that that's the greater issue even if they so
now we're just now we're just talking about cash that
the team would have taken out an insurance policy separate
to be able to cover them in the event that
they that Watson gets hurt. They think that that would
be like rudent to do that, right, Yeah, No, no,
they they probably did most teams due to a to
(35:05):
a certain degree. And it's actually fairly common overseas too
for European soccer because some of those contracts get so big.
But again, it has no ramifications on the actual salary
cap with the NFL, like they just they have to eat.
This is the best way of putting.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Here's the bride side Nick Chubb's back, and I love
that guy. I love that Like, even off the knee injury,
he's still going back to his old high school squat
in like five pounds literally like literally the bars bending
over his Was it a hack squad or what type
of a squad?
Speaker 3 (35:37):
Do you the?
Speaker 2 (35:38):
The type of squad the bar on the back that
gives you back problems like rip rips up your you know,
all your discs, and.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Was he wearing that if the bar ain't bending, you just.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Pretended it's kind of ah, like it's a weird looking
I'll send you the video. It's a weird looking bar. Yeah,
it's a flex bar, I know what a really flexible bar. Yeah,
but it's like, may I.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
Just thought it was doing hack squats, that's all. Oh, no,
listen to hack squats.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
So if you want to get those squads or rock
and roll and you just do some hack squats in
do some leg extensions you.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
Know called hack squats, it's probably never done on his life.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
What are you talking about. He used to do them
all the time. I used to us to exactly not anymore,
not anymore. Got to get out of here.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
The kneecaps can't take it more. Nope, that's a wrap.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
And here's the thing. Is, like Jonas, if you actually
went to a college football game, you'd hear a stadium
play this and the crowd's reaction and it is live. Nuts.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
I mean, I would go to a college football game,
except the JKSS is on two to four Eastern time
eleven am to one pm Pacific time every.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
Saturday, so a little inundated with a show. I don't
mean to compare this to recent events, but I think
if you took it off to actually go to a game,
people might cheer. Oh that's not true. Just saying that
is not true. There might be some cheering.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
Then I fill in for you, and then your show
ratings will go up, right Yeah damn yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:10):
I'm not really one on taking the Saturdays off. What
do you guys typically do your Saturday shows from?
Speaker 4 (37:15):
I was at Zembi's this Saturday. Oh nice, yeah, but
I mean you know it from really.
Speaker 3 (37:23):
Damn? What I need to get the zembs you do?
Was everybody there? Damn? What they're gonna fly away across
the country. I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
If it was a remote it was up a little
up on game remote from mozembies.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
No, well, I mean what they need to bring a
producer to in order to do it, I don't know.
I mean it just depends. Is there a chance you'll
fly to a remote if Lee can't go me? No,
because that's his babysitter. Yeah, that's a baby I really
can't tell. Who's Baby City. I don't know Baby City.
Speaker 4 (38:01):
I mean, I know you've been out with him too.
I mean, from my vantage point, it's for the most
part when when Lee is is on the sober train,
he's the babysitter. Now, once Leega goes down that dark road,
you know, it's definitely Jonas making sure he's okay.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
So you know what reminds me of Nember movie see
the Evil Here No Evil?
Speaker 4 (38:24):
Yes, it's almost like Richard.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Yeah, that's like Jonahs trying to travel together. Great movie.
They're just both trying to put it all together. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
Well, like, let's be honest here, Lee can't travel with
you guys. Because you guys are always sitting in first class.
Me man of the people, hard hat lunch Paiale guy,
all sit in coach with everybody else, no issue.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
How did Jonas fly to Ireland that was first class?
Speaker 2 (38:49):
Ye?
Speaker 3 (38:49):
Okay? What about the way back? That was a coach? Yeah,
along with me? Didn't Did he end up getting first
class or does that not happen?
Speaker 8 (38:56):
No?
Speaker 3 (38:58):
I sat next to Lee and all also, so that
was even warm. It was great. So you became a
trash can for all the licker.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
Bottles and Lee snoring on an old on an old woman.
Speaker 3 (39:12):
What does she say?
Speaker 2 (39:14):
I just I'm like watching something on TV and I
just hear.
Speaker 9 (39:18):
Hey, hey, look, I'm like what And she's like, you're
breathing all over me.
Speaker 7 (39:29):
And Leo's slumped over next.
Speaker 3 (39:31):
To the lady like pulled her mask down. You're breathing
all over me, all over.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
Me, And she's like, nd, I'm I'm laughing so hard,
I hould your mask down.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
She's like two years ago, still doing Oh yeah, people
still do it.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
And I was a ton of people that I was
laughing so I couldn't breathe. And Lee just looks at
me and gives me the like, hey, buddy.
Speaker 3 (40:01):
Breathing out. Okay, I would have fell out. I would
have fell out, was laughing so hard.
Speaker 4 (40:11):
But you do the Cash show, don't don't don't uh
you know, don't DVA?
Speaker 3 (40:16):
Where do you do it? Where do you do your show? Oh?
Speaker 2 (40:18):
I do it from the same place I always do it.
Where's that the tire rack dot Com? Yeah, I'll help
you get there, the match selection, faster shipping, free road
has a protection and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tire
rack dot com the way tire buying should.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
Be well done.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
There's one undefeated team left in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
The bus alls man.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Patrick Mahomes not exactly his best year, but all of
a sudden, you're watching Kansas City and you.
Speaker 3 (40:49):
Go, all right, we're going to win it again.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Scramble, play a truck stick in the end zone. Defense
is great, which.
Speaker 4 (40:58):
By the way, I do feel like these rule changes
and the legislation of physicality out of the sport is
allowing for this b s to take place, like don't
whack ass pump fakes Like ain't nobody really fucked? Like
if you still allowed the thump like they was thumping
when I was playing. I'm not going for no pump
(41:19):
fake for you to throw. I don't care if you're
going to throw the ball at this point. Look at
it this.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
Way, right, you're going for pain. Cute. What am I?
Speaker 4 (41:26):
You're on the run and you're about to throw the ball.
What am I worrying about the ball for nothing? You're
trying to influence pain.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
Yes, I'm going to hit you anyway, like, I don't
care throw the ball, keep the ball. I don't care
what you do. I'm going to hit you. I'm a
hitting and I'm going to take you down and I'm
going to try to hit your head off of the ground.
I am trying to thump the s out of you.
Speaker 4 (41:55):
And now catch is like like, oh he pump fake.
Like if I hit him and he throws the ball,
it's gonna be fifteen yards. If I hit him too hard,
it's gonna be fifteen yards. It's like that.
Speaker 3 (42:10):
To me, that was one of the most apparent moments of.
Speaker 2 (42:13):
And then these dudes be like casting it like, oh
my gosh, who look at Patrick Mahomes. Oh he's going
down the sideline, this amazing show of athleticism.
Speaker 3 (42:25):
Look at him, go like, no, it's a nice run. No,
it was slick though. Let the man a little little
stop and go on the sideline.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
This is Rick Kenny Pickett esque, not the Serengetti I remember,
is all I'm gonna say. And what's crazy is you'll
see more like you're a local zoo, local zoos. Yeah,
and captive a lion and captive is definitely different than
the lying in the Wow. Man, I'm assuming cuz you know,
you don't have to go and you don't. Yeah, people
(42:54):
bring you the food too, like you ain't gotta go
get it, you know, I don't know. I didn't like it.
I didn't like it, but I like the Chiefs are winning.
I mean I do like that.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
If you would have said before the season that Mahomes
was leading the league interceptions six games into the year,
you probably would have said, oh, there, they can't be,
you know, the only undefeated team, the best team in
the NFL with injuries, right, key injuries. I would imagine
that that would have been our sentiment. We were been like, oh,
(43:23):
they must be having a bad year. They just got
a slow start. It's remarkable when you look at what
they are post Tyreek Hill and what the offense has been.
How this team, how the front office has done on
hitting on players on the defensive side of the ball,
and then him just making plays when he needs to.
(43:46):
I think we saw a lot of that last year
from him because offensively, they weren't as dominant. They weren't
you know, winning as many games by blowouts, and it
was like, all right, it's time to step up. He
steps up, makes the play. A lot of people out
there are probably going to say the refs are, you know,
pushing in their favor. I personally don't feel that way,
but you know, to teach their own. The reality is
(44:09):
he's the best quarterback in the NFL. They are one
of the best teams in the NFL with how they
play complimentary football and finding ways of playing winning football.
And much like we saw with Tom Brady in the
beginning of his career and then throughout the next twenty
some years, there will be changes that occur to Patrick
Mahomes that he has to adapt and adjust to. We've
(44:31):
seen him so far adjust very well to not having
one of the best wide receivers in Tyreek Kill in
the NFL. Once Travis Kelce retires, that'll be the next transition,
and then it'll be Andy Reid because eventually he'll step
down and the next head coach and how that goes
will largely dictate what happens next. And I think the
(44:54):
most interesting thing about the Kansas City Chiefs and that
head coaching position at at some point will be guys
under contract with other teams will potentially be candidates. Every
single head coach that looks to be one of the
best in the NFL will be looked at as a
(45:14):
potential candidate because they want to coach Patrick Mahomes, want
to be part of it. Like I know, Broncos fans
might think I'm crazy for saying this, but if I'm
Sean Payton, oh yeah, I mean you would do. I mean,
every NFL head coach would do all they can to
get to Kansas City to be the head coach of
Patrick Mahomes. Now, I know this is coming out of
(45:34):
left field, because hey, we're not there yet, but I'm
just saying what he's done so far. But you know,
this year, but even the past couple of seasons, now,
adapting to all the changes he's dealt with, they still
have success. They'd still find a way of winning football games.
Speaker 2 (45:49):
So Mahomes is now eleven and three straight up twelve
one and one against the spread as an underdog in
his career. I mean, you know, you take that for
what you will. I had learned my lesson last year
in the Super Bowl, they were a slight underdog against
the Niners. I took the Niners, did not yesterday and
they get it done. San Francisco did not look all
(46:11):
that hot. There's been moments during the course of the
season where they haven't looked good at all. Kyle Shanahan
gave an honest assessment over how his team performed on Sunday.
Speaker 10 (46:20):
I want them to say less today. There's no way
to sugarcoat that we got our ask kipt today. Lots
of reasons for it. Those are things that they don't
need to sit and think about today. Will dress all
those tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
So pretty straight into the point for Kyle Shanahan.
Speaker 4 (46:35):
He had a little bit more to say too, Like
you just talked about, like the self evaluation and just
kind of like looking at where they, you know, can
improve and what what went wrong for them so that
they can put it to bid and move on. I
kind of like Kyle's I know, kind of I like
I like how He's a very even killed type of dude.
Like if you listen to the way he speaks after wins,
(46:57):
he's kind of like how Joe was when and when
I play for him.
Speaker 3 (47:02):
It's just like sound different though, right.
Speaker 11 (47:06):
And'd be like, we, well, we could do a little better.
Speaker 3 (47:10):
We beating one the game by like sixty points.
Speaker 11 (47:12):
Listen, listen, we have we have a few things we
gotta look at and we're going out to fix them.
But but I thought the guys, I thought the guys
worked hard today.
Speaker 3 (47:24):
We'll go back, we'll go back and look at it.
But we got we gotta get better. What if something
crazy what he said.
Speaker 11 (47:32):
Nuts, you know, we just got it. We gotta improve,
We gotta get better.
Speaker 3 (47:41):
You say the same thing every week.
Speaker 4 (47:43):
It didn't matter if you want her, if you lost,
gotta improve, you gotta get better, Gotta look at the film,
gotta look at it, Gotta improve, Gotta get better. That's
kind of like how Kyle Shanahan is. And I like
that because to me, you don't ever want to get
too high and you never want to get too low.
You want to find that that sweet spot where you
stay in the middle, where you're motivated to not to
(48:05):
not lose where you're at and the possibilities of what
are out there for you to go higher, but what
exists to you if you go lower. Like it's just
trying to find that balance, you know, and I think
for what is worth. Andy Reid has been a master
of doing that as well, like keeping guys motivated, guys
stepping in and doing what they needed to do. I mean,
(48:26):
Juju steps back in after like a little hiatus and
his balling, then he goes out with an injury, you know,
and then next thing you know, you got other guys
that are stepping in and stepping up for it. The
defense continues to be like the like a very very
key staple for this team. That is culture, man, that's culture,
(48:48):
and that's belief and trust. That that belief and trust
that comes from uh from the top and then and
then finds its way to the coaches. Like I was
just listening to the promo talking about the Duke from
and how Lawrence Taylor was talking about Mara and how
he said, look, he supported us, He backed us no
(49:09):
matter what he allowed the coaches the coach and he
supported the players and the players played.
Speaker 3 (49:17):
When you create that type.
Speaker 4 (49:18):
Of environment, man, you it's crazy to results, you see,
because we could easily use they are injured. They don't
have like the same things people are saying about some
of these other teams, right even San Francisco, you're dealing
with injuries. Can they overcome injuries? Other teams? Can you
overcome injuries? Well, Kansas City seems to be doing just
(49:39):
fine figuring out how to do it with with the
loss of players that they have, you know what I mean,
So what's the difference. There's gotta be a difference, and
not saying that there's dysfunction in San francause it's not.
I think that they're very well rant. In fact, I
was just singing Kyle Shanahan's praises. I think they'll be fine.
I just think that they just have to figure out,
(49:59):
you know, how to find that consistency. Like I think
that's for this season so far. The forty nine ers
have played very well, but they've not played very well.
I think they got to find a way and I
think you can hear that on what Kyle Shanahan was saying.
They got to find their way to where that level
of consistency is in terms of how they get to
(50:21):
where they're going, I'd love to.
Speaker 3 (50:23):
Hear Tom Renaldi's hit post halftime, and he's like, well,
Kyle Shanahan has some colorful words. He goes, I will
make it a family friendly for all of you at home.
It's like, I can only imagine. But based on what
Tom said, you got a feeling for, you know, Kyle
Shanahan being extremely frustrated, so he might have seemed even
(50:47):
ke with us or on some of the sound bites,
they did not seem to be the case. Maybe in
the locker room or a lease. Based on what he
said to.
Speaker 2 (50:54):
Tom Ronaldi, Labar, you had Kansas City Detroit in the super.
Speaker 4 (51:00):
Right, Uh dude, yeah, yeah, not a bad pick, a
bad pick's pick.
Speaker 3 (51:05):
It's like a great pick. Yep. Anything can happen, but
I would love to do it right now. I mean
great stories. Jared Goff might be playing like an MVP
right now. Uh yeah.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
By the way, I don't understand that Patrick Mahomes leading
the odds for MVP on DraftKings.
Speaker 3 (51:23):
It's it's just because they're six and zero, man. I mean,
it's unfortunate that the award feels like it's a little
heisman like that too, you know, We're like, oh, we
have to pick a player who's one of the best
players on one of the teams competing for a national championship.
It feels like the MVP has become that at times too.
I think Josh Allen should be the MVP at this point,
(51:44):
Josh Allen be able to I'll say Jared Golf Josh
Allen kind of going down the list.
Speaker 2 (51:48):
But so Mahomes is a plus three point fifty, Josh
Allen five to one, tied with Lamar Jackson, and then
Jared Goff and c J. Stroud are at eight to one. Yeah,
Lamar's the other one this year based on what he's done, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (52:01):
He's looking good.
Speaker 2 (52:03):
How about CJ. Stroud through for like four yards yesterday?
Somehow Houston was.
Speaker 3 (52:08):
Still in that game with everybody banged up. And I
don't get what's the stuff on Diggs.
Speaker 2 (52:12):
Jay 'or Alexander Beef? What is that about?
Speaker 3 (52:14):
Just that one that goes back, that goes back to
his time in Buffalo? I think, right, didn't they get
into it like coming down the tunnel or something?
Speaker 2 (52:20):
Lee did they play one time against each other and
it went so poorly. They're like, you know, we hate
each other from this point forward or what?
Speaker 7 (52:27):
Yeah, basically that's what I've gathered. I haven't seen what
happened before that.
Speaker 3 (52:31):
They legit can't stand each other.
Speaker 2 (52:32):
Lee.
Speaker 3 (52:33):
Were you sober enough to see the pregame fight the
Digs and Alexander got into I did, yes, I was no. No,
Were you sober enough though? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (52:39):
I was sober throughout the entire morning game.
Speaker 3 (52:42):
Really, yeah, that's good for you.
Speaker 7 (52:45):
Not one drink, not one drink until after the Packers win.
And then I went straight to the liquor store.
Speaker 3 (52:53):
What did you get? What did I get? Did I
guess your order? Sure?
Speaker 2 (52:57):
All right, I'm gonna go with a small bottle, not
a mini bottle, but one of the smaller bottles of tequila.
And I'm gonna say a four pack of sixteen ounce
Miller Lights.
Speaker 7 (53:10):
Very close, not not far off, was a six pack
of Miller High Life, okay bottles bottleneck and then and
then and then a small bottle of vodka that I
mixed that I mixed with your seltzers, oh, with some celsiers.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
Uh, Lee? Why not just sports on the big bottle
knowing that you're going to be drinking vodka at some point? Yes,
I'm exhibiting self control. You're not, though, You're just gonna
have to walk back over to the liquor store. By then.
You're spending more money that way. I also spending more
money that way. Does your does your? Does? The guy
the liquor store just basically watch the packers and go up.
(53:47):
Packers want to get Lee's order ready or is it
more of they lost?
Speaker 5 (53:52):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (53:52):
Now if they double the normal order for.
Speaker 7 (53:54):
A he does ask how the packers did. Once I
walk it through the door, he knows the game just ended.
So we talked about the packers, and then he says,
I'll see you in two and a half hours. He
tries to guess when I'll be back. I just love
how it's like, no, no, listen, I took it easy.
Bottle of Vodkas, yeah.
Speaker 4 (54:09):
And of the highlight bottlenecks, you know, yeah, a little Seltzer's.
Speaker 2 (54:15):
Hey listen, Just you know, I don't want to get
for you.
Speaker 3 (54:18):
Would it be a professional.
Speaker 4 (54:19):
It's like the way he talks about it, though, you
make it sound like it's so good and it's nasty,
like your combinations sound horribly nasty, but some way, somehow,
it kind of sounds good.
Speaker 3 (54:32):
Coming from you.
Speaker 4 (54:32):
It's it's hey, listen, if you're out there and you're
like a liquor rep or distributor, you need to touch
base with this guy, because I'm telling you he'll sell
your product.
Speaker 3 (54:43):
I don't even.
Speaker 4 (54:44):
Like like like vodka and Seltzer's Like I know they
got you know, all the mixers and stuff like that,
but it sounds gross to me. And he makes it
sound like do I want to try Miller High Life?
Like don't want to try it?
Speaker 3 (54:57):
Old? Try it? No, I'm I'm just saying I get it.
Speaker 4 (55:01):
I'm just saying you make it sound way better than
probably what it should be.
Speaker 7 (55:07):
That's all I'm saying. There, refreshing, there you go. Unbelievable
felt like a win. Pale felt like winning. And I
had lost my wallet and I had found it just
as the packers won the game, so I felt it
was like a win win.
Speaker 2 (55:21):
You've lost your wallet four times since doing this show.
Speaker 3 (55:24):
Yeah, sure he's lost his mind too.
Speaker 7 (55:26):
I had a dream I found my old wallet, but
I but you didn't find it.
Speaker 3 (55:30):
I did not find that
