How the hell we feel in here on a Thursday morning?
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Well, no, not great, not good? Oh no, not at all.
Oh Quinn's wins took quite the defeat last night?
Speaker 4 (01:55):
Oh all right? Oh no, sorry to hear.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Kennisath Steak got their first FBS. Long did they cover
the twenty five and a half points and give Liberty
their first defeat of the season and ruin their chance
of making it in the College Football Playoff? But they
outright won the game. Pretty crazy, I think.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Biggest upset of the season in college football, somebody as
far as a gambling standpoint, somebody.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
From a gambling standpoint that actually.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
I think is accurate.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
I think you're right, and I mean.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Technically you're on the other side of it, the winning
side of it, though.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
I just I just pulled it. I just pulled a presco. Yeah,
yeah you did. I would never say that though. That
was a Honestly, can I say, well, I'm not going
to say it. It was a butt kicking. I can't
say the other word ass kicking. Yeah, it was an
ass kicking.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
The other part of it to me, though, which is
really interesting, is we've seen this a bunch in college
football this year, like the upsets like Vandy beating Alabama.
You know, there's so much parody in college football. I
would say, outside of like four or five teams, I
really do feel like anyone could beat anyone. It's nuts nowadays.
(03:08):
Is that nil it's transfer port it's transfer port because
nil is one thing like maybe you know, getting paid
here and there. If the portal wasn't there, though, they
wouldn't have the opportunity, like like you could have nil,
but if they didn't have a way of getting somewhere
else to be able to go play instead of sitting
behind someone else, it would work out quite as well.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Yeah, well it's unfortunate.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Yeahs, first ever FBS win. Never heard we got from
the FCS level exactly go down with liberty though, And look,
you know, in all seriousness, maybe it's good because we
eliminated a team that a lot of people thought could
have been the group of five teams that you know,
(03:54):
wins its conference championship, is undefeated, and goes to the
College Football Playoff. But now there's no chance of that.
So we get to eliminate a team that probably shouldn't
have made it in the first place.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Yeah, so Riverside, we'll see you, and now we're off
to the big boys in college football. Now, speaking of football,
you know, I would have thought just me if I
was Robert Salah and it went the way that it
went with the Jets. Man, I just want to disappear
for a while, Just want to disappear, like everybody stayed
(04:27):
the hell away from me. I'm just gonna spend Woody
Johnson's money.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
You aren't any good at coaching, you know, he just
stay away, you know, Yeah, I mean just being honest,
if that were the case, you just stay away.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
I would have just spent his money and spend time
with my family. Just say, what do you guys want
to do? You know, I've been busy. I've been kind
of away from you guys and not been able to
be here and be a part of this whole thing
and this whole family dynamic for a little while. Let's
just go somewhere instead. He's going to help out the Packers.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
I mean, why not.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
He's a good friend.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
With Matt lafleor Matt Lafleur, you know, has credited him
for helping get his start. He says, Robert Sala helped
him get his start in the NFL, And so he's
going to be helping out the Packers. And Matt Lafleur
spoke about his involvement with the team yesterday.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
We've been close for a really long time. We were
roommates together back at Central Michigan. So we thought it
was a good idea just to bring bring him here.
And he's helping us on the offensive side of the ball.
I think that's always a good deal to have that
perspective on how teams might see us, how they might
defend us. Certainly can find holes and or some vulnerability vulnerabilities,
(05:39):
if you will, in the defense that we're playing. So yeah,
that's how we're going to use them.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
I'll bet they got some stories about Aaron Rodgers they've
thrown around back and forth.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Is this like a therapy session?
Speaker 4 (05:55):
This isn't even like coach support session. The session like,
oh he tried to get that. He tried to do
the same damn thing.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
To me, bro Anonymous is what it is. Yeah, he
tried and he ain't changed.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
I ain't saying all that, but I'm just it's kind
of funny because I mean, if you really think about it,
what he did. What you mean what date? Like the
third date or the fourth day? Yep, yep.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Green Bay doesn't play the Dallas Cowboys this week, do they.
I mean, that would be the only way you get
all three coaches.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Together, and that wouldn't see the Aaron Rodgers Bowl, the
Rogers Bowl, the love Triangle, the coaches Triangle. Well, I mean,
you were attributed to girlfriends and stuff like that. Anyway,
I think it's a great move. For one, it keeps
him active. For two, he really can help them. He
(06:56):
really is a brilliant defensive mind, and so to bring
him in and to be a consultant that way, I
would assume that that's what he's coming under as as
a consultant, And I wonder does coming into the capacity
that he comes into. It doesn't sound like he's coming
in as like an official coach or anything like that,
(07:17):
so I doubt it would impact what his contract is
with the Jets. I would assume, I don't know. You
guys tell me, but I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Yeah, it's hard to know. I mean, I'll say this,
I know, and with a previous head coach with the
New York Jets, there are offsets, so he can't get
paid anything unless he wants to be active and go
have the New York Jets pay a portion of what
he's getting paid. Typically, if he's supposed to get paid
a million bucks, right and they're going to pay him
(07:51):
two hundred thousand to be a consultant, then the Jets
only have to pay eight hundred thousand, if that makes sense. Yeah,
So there is the potential for that scenario or sometimes
in some cases the offsets will stay. I mean, it
all depends on the language.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
Of the contract.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
But that's in essence how it would kind of work.
I don't think he's getting paid for being there. I
think he's just there for support. I think you might
be right. You might be right, and if that is
the case, he gets to stay active. It's an interesting
story because if the team continues to improve, I thought
they would have brought him in to consult the defense.
(08:28):
I mean, the defense is pretty they're not bad or
fifteenth ranked, fifteenth overall thing, thirteenth against the past. They're
not a bad team defensively, they're not elite, so I
would think that they would bring them in to help
with that those matters. But I think the idea of
what the reasoning behind bringing them in to help the
(08:49):
offense out almost in a lot of ways is the
same exact thing. Is kind of helping your defense. If
he's breaking down what the defenses are doing and breaking
down like self scouting them and breaking down what they're
doing and creating you know, information and data for them
to use, I think that's super prudent, especially if he's
just willing, like what you're saying you he's just willing
(09:10):
to go do it, like I just want to be around.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Stay active, Like that's crazy work.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Free labor.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
That's crazy, I.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Think more than anything else. I mean, it's a good
sign from Laflor for this reason. Self scouting and being
like self aware, it's to me, it's one of the
most I guess scarce qualities that human beings have is
the ability to be self aware for their strengths to their weaknesses,
just how they act, how they talk. And it's the
(09:41):
same thing as coaching, Like it's very rare. You have
teams that are super dialed in to what their identity is,
what their strengths are, what their weaknesses are, and then
playoff of that. So they'll go into games knowing like, hey,
this formation, this personnel grouping, this is all we've shown
the defense, so let's do this off then instead of
(10:01):
this run that we've had, Let's do this play action,
Let's do this trick play let's do something off of this.
Typically that's that's what the self scouting helps. It helps
give you an idea of what you are, what your
tendencies are, so you can get back to fifty to
fifty so you can line up whatever you want and
they have no clue what you're about to do. A
defensive coach like Robert Salah will help them have a
(10:22):
better understanding of how a defense sees them from that perspective,
which could only make Green Bay better. So bottles Lee
more drinking, packers getting Betterly.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
I don't know that necessarily that much help. They're going
to Jacksonville, so you know, it's like, you know, Robert,
just come hang out, man, you don't really.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
If you don't think they need all the help they
can get heading into Trevor Banks Stadium. I don't know, right,
it's the back fire, the Trevor Bank shots fire.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Yeah, it's I just I was a little surprised that
he would want back in the NFL circle this fast.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
But maybe that's also it's a.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Great opportunity a couple of weeks, right, two or three
weeks has been a couple of weeks.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Maybe it's also a testament to he just really wasn't
ready to go at all, Like he felt like he
still he wasn't ready to go, But that was you know,
other people had other plans for him. It's also got
a land wrong. It's also got a land wrong for
him to see. So now we're like getting Hassan Reddicks
situation figured out. Now we're acquiring Davante Adams. Now it's like,
(11:28):
you know, we I probably could have used this help.
I don't know before the season, you know, after the
trade was made, or earlier in the season or at
least and so now that you know, the Jets are
kind of spinning their wheels and he's gonna go.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
Maybe the whole point of it was maybe he was
part of the problem, like getting Hassan Reddick in or
getting this done with Davante Adams and this, that and
the other. Maybe the whole point was to remove him
from the scenario. You know, maybe that's part of the plan.
I don't know. All I'm saying. All I'm saying is
(12:03):
if I'm Robert Salah and I'm in the situation that
I'm in right now, don't you think looking at the
NFC the way that it's stacked up, that if I
attached my wagon to this horse over here, that it
could lead to me having more opportunities Because of the
(12:25):
type of season that they could end up having. The
Green Bay Packers could be a dark horse team that
comes out of the NFC. And I don't even know
that you could consider it a dark horse.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
I mean not the way they're fan based drinks right now,
tang get their priorities in order.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I feel like Lead drinks
a lot his priorities order.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
He's here. Yeah, I haven't heard the laugh yet.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
You know, he won't get on the mic yet, which
is interesting.
Speaker 6 (12:52):
Well, I just kicked Coop out of the way. Oh
there you go, hey, Bud. How delivery Wednesday?
Speaker 4 (13:01):
Delivery Wednesday was good? It was good to be back.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
In the day.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
Did you just did you just get onto the microphone
and take a shot out my man Coop?
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Damn? I love Cooper takes forever to get out of
the way.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
These days, he takes a little longer, you know. Yeah,
we get that that podcast loaded up. You got to
make sure that Malord show is loaded up the right
way because the Malard militia, you know, they don't come
get you.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
I just thought Coop was usually playing cards while doing it, so.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
A little to hold them, like solitaire. Yeah, yeah, a
little solitaire.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
There's always some sense I need to log off of.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
By the way, I.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
Remember, I'm not going to name who it was, but
I'll just say a former host here and somebody who
played professionally uh in the NBA I'll just put it
that way.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
This is years ago. When I first started.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
There was some complaints from his co host because he
looked over during one of the segments and this guy
was on adult friend Finder and the other stude.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
What adult friend Finder?
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Like, no, he was, and he goes come look like,
oh boy at the other studio.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
Oh yeah, that went right over there. Okay, hope you're
doing the Let's play a quick game here before we
get a break. If I had to look up last
thing you searched in your phone right now, what would
it be? Oh?
Speaker 4 (14:37):
Let me, I'll dota be honest. I was looking up
the packers.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
You can't cop out like that one before that, the
one before that.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
Okay, let's see what I would have been looking up before.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Can you want me sure of mine? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (14:55):
Sure, got it?
Speaker 2 (14:56):
All right? This is unfortunately, this is happened more than
once this year for us.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
Someone big Newton kickoff.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
We're having a musical performance, and I had to look
up through the hell mecha don is?
Speaker 4 (15:08):
Oh no?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
So yeah, all right, who the hell is this guy? Unfortunately,
that's the first time I've had to do that. All right, So.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
How to zoom in or out on the screen on
a Mac because my son opened up my laptop last
night and just completely real Oh my god, Like I
couldn't figure it out. And so it took me like
it was the switch to Spanish or in English, to well,
it's always that, you know. I mean, that's a home
game for everybody. If I can, you know, get the
(15:42):
family involved, you know, we'll just throw it in Espaniel
and everybody gets fired up.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
But I thought you told me if everything you had
on your computers in English that like that way no
one can see what you're doing.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Uh No, I mean they're pretty sleuth about it. I
think they know more than they realize or than I realized, and.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
That they let on.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
I looked Michael Beach and his two wives, like his
ex wife and his his current wife. He's an actor,
so I was, I don't know, I'm.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Ever, why are you looking at his two wives?
Speaker 4 (16:13):
Because I was on social media and he was doing
and he was doing an interview and he was talking
about it was like a unique story, like he was
talking about how his ex wife has lived with him
and his wife his current wife for over six years
or something like that. So I had to dig a
(16:35):
little bit, like what they look like, yeah, you know,
you know it.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
I know, yeah, I don't know what they look like.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
I mean, I know men, and I know how they operate,
and I just I'm not going to say one way
or the other because I don't want to be offensive,
like one way or the other.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
How you went down that rabbit hole? What do you mean?
Speaker 4 (16:55):
I did go down the rabbit hole? Though, Well you
made like I mean, I believe I met Michael Beach
before I look this up.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
Does she have to pay rent?
Speaker 4 (17:07):
I mean, he's a successful actor, I know, but I
would say not, Okay, good for him, Good.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
For him, I would say not.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
I would say.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Not.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
It's all i'm gonna say. I'm not gonna say anything else.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Oh, they had a deep blue seat too. I didn't
know that. I don't think it's worth watching. Thank you
for that. Although about your opinion, yeah, I do not care.
But speaking of what was your last one?
Speaker 4 (17:48):
It was also a movie movie site.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
I was watching Wild Robot.
Speaker 4 (17:54):
There's no way that was your last No way, you're
full of asses.
Speaker 6 (17:58):
But that and the story I have for leftovers, but
I could, I could spill it now.
Speaker 4 (18:02):
I think you're full ass on that one too. We
know what your last one was. Yeah, wow, b b w. Yeah,
there you go. I'm just said.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
And blackout like Yeah, I was actually googling how to
South Central like stick in my mouth.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
I got vampire teeth that you have to like add
here onto your teeth, So I googled that.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
That's the least I guessween Yes, for Halloween.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
I gotta say, I think Lorena might be like close
to Lee's deal too, Like I think they might just
both be, you know, but I don't know where her
Donner would be. I don't know.
Speaker 6 (18:50):
You're saying I'm also being skinned.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
I'm just said.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
I'm just said the world needs a little bit of
how much of those acrylic vampire teeth?
Speaker 2 (18:58):
I got them on Amazon for eighteen?
Speaker 6 (19:01):
Oh yeah, and they were super easy to put on?
Speaker 2 (19:05):
Are you thinking about it? Jonas? No, I just remember those.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
He has the real ones. Wow, he might have to compare.
This looked like, hey, you better watch it.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
How do they look? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (19:15):
You better watching?
Speaker 2 (19:16):
You say, turn the.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
Lights out, bad boy, Never turn the lights off with
you and.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
See you see me hanging upside down.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
Everybody be trying to figure out why these bats be
showing up. Your family members be trying to visit your
door show you'd be acted like you scared.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Yeah, I just remember the were horribly upset.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
The family was horribly upset. Lee Lee assassinated one of Yeah,
that was my buddy from nineteen hundred years ago.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Lee exacting up to get the entire time. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
I just remember the plastic ones as kids that would
like fold that you would put and they just mess
up your guns.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Horrible quality.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
They had to glow into dark ones that that you
could use. Yeah. Nice, okay, all right, well, well, good job,
good job right now. I hope that the vampire fangs
work for you.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
League.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
You're lying, You're one hundred percent lying. I was working up,
I was looking up leftovers. Yeah all right, Brah, well
tell us anything. Even our listeners know that that's so.
We don't even know him as well as his the guys.
(20:26):
That's boos. Damn well did go out? You know, you
know it is too close though.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Two pros and a cup of Joe Here on Fox
Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you
coming up next here though, from the tire rack dot
Com studios, we will tell you about an opportunity that
somebody is getting but may not want in the NFL.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
That's yours right here at FSR.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six a m. E staring three
am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
App Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here on
Fox Sports Radio fifteen minutes from now. We think we've
identified the most relatable quarterback in the NFL. Find out
who that is here on Fox Sports Radio. But as
Eddie Garcia mentioned, the Carolina Panthers have made a decision.
They've made a decision on their starting quarterback this week
at Denver. Dave Canalis, head coach of the Panthers, take
(21:26):
it away.
Speaker 7 (21:27):
Scary moment for sure, everyone was okay, everyone was healthy. Unfortunately,
in the accident he did sprain his thumb. So Bryce
will be playing this week and we'll be evaluating Andy
day to day going into this weekend to see if
we can get him up as the two on game day.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
So Andy Dalton injured in a car accident him and
his family. He will not be available for Sunday, and
therefore Bryce Young will get his opportunity to be the
starting quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, you know, against one
of the better defenses in the NFL on the road. Man,
I'm hoping for the best, but I just like we're
gonna get the worst. I just don't see. I don't
(22:04):
have a lot of optimism for bright.
Speaker 4 (22:07):
Optimist.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
I just like Caroline has done nothing for me to
be optimistic about at all in the last three years,
Like nothing, And so I just feel like anybody that
goes to Carolina, like you get the almost the touch
of death, Like it's almost like, oh, here's a nice
little let me sprinkle some dark cloud on you and
just go ahead and live with that for a little while.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
I hope he just goes out there and just is
unconscious how he plays.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Are you optimistic that's gonna happen.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
All I'm saying is, do you in this scenario You're
you're you're a top overall pick on a crappy team
in a crappy situation, and you were benched in a
crappy situation where it's basically been blamed on you, and
you're being considered to be a bust, and you get
(22:58):
an opportunity to go back in as a starter based
off of a technicality of a injured thumb of the
guy who was put in front of you. Get your
get your preparation on, be prepared with with your game plan,
and go out there and and and and be on
(23:21):
some f at all like we just hey, I would
tell everybody in that huddle, we're gonna rock out today, y'all, like,
let's rock out and and if it works and you
have success, run with it. Because I'm looking at y'all
right now like y'all sold me out. I'm looking at
the coaching staff like y'all sold me out. So you
(23:46):
don't have no choice but to play me right now.
And I am a top draft pick, so I'm gonna
do it my way. And if you can't handle that,
then you can kick rocks. Because doing it your ways
God us where we're at right now. It's got me
where I'm at right now. So I'm gonna go out
here and if if we're gonna go down in a
blaze of glory, we're gonna go down in a blaze
(24:07):
of glory with me touching that ball every single time
that ball it's not this game. I hope he goes
in with that mentality, man, never sit down, never surrender
type of mentality.
Speaker 8 (24:17):
Yeah, yeah, there you go. Yeah, yeah, you know what
I mean. Yeah yeah. I don't really have much more
to add to that. I mean, everyone's rooting for him,
you know, at least I am. I think he's for
Anyone who's met Bryce knows Bryce. He's one of the
kindest people you ever meet.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
He has had success at every level up until now,
and he was dealt a as Jonas would say, a
diaper typer bag of hot baby crap on fire. Yeah.
So it's tough because it's not like anything's changed. And
he Dalton came in, they gotta win. Then it's right
back to the same got that dead cat bounce now,
(24:58):
It's just it is what it is. This is the
reality of this team. So I hope he gets in,
plays better football, get some good tape out there. I
don't think his future is in Carolina. I think we
all know that. I mean, hell, you know, Dave Canlis
is talking about hoping and you know, watching to see
if Andy can recover well enough to be the back
of this week. It's like, man, it's just in a
(25:18):
car accident with his family. Like it's just I think
football can pause for a week for a team that's
a one win team not going anywhere.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
But that was definitely what I took away from what
his comments were. What you just said, Yeah, we're going monitory,
make sure we could get him active, make sure he's
up like you're you're I mean, if I'm Bryce young,
like all right, right, that's how you feel. Huh, all right,
(25:49):
well you better be ready to play him with that thumb.
I mean, I'm going out here unconscious.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
I mean, does he.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
Have the autonomy to be able to be like f
it as you say, like let's just go out here
and start.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
Slinging it around, like over overrule some of the game plan.
I don't like this.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
There's a few positions all goes. There's a few positions
where you could be that type of dude where you
just got to pull him out if it's that bad.
You got quarterbacks wanted positions. This is just one of
them positions and he could go. He could go his
rogue as he wants to go, and then it's up
to the coaches to have to decide, like linebackers want
(26:28):
of them positions, you know, like really outside of cornerback
on defense and and and maybe zero and three technique
like defensive tackles and even they could get go rogue
on what it is that they're doing, but defensive ends
you could go rogue like I'm going like this is
what I'm doing, and I'm gonna do what every played linebacker,
(26:49):
like Junior say, I was one of the most known,
Like he's supposed to be in coverage right now, why
is he getting a sack like one of them type
dudes Like I'm I'm I'm throwing down and I don't
care what the call is. Some people said I was
like that. I really wasn't like that. I generally use
(27:11):
my keys to do what I did, but people didn't
think that. But anyways, I digress. Yes, he can't go.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
Rope then almost got there, almost got there.
Speaker 4 (27:20):
Oh no, I wouldn't. I wouldn't have put that on
on Washington. Speaking of I went, I didn't that that
narrative was created before then.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Speaking of Washington, I remember David Anderson told me a
story when he was in Washington for a year that
Rex Grossman was the quarterback and he went in for her.
You know, for a series or two or whatever, and
first play walks in there and gets the play call
and goes, now, I would.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
Not run into it.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
Yeah I heard that.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
He goes four verticals, things like we could do that.
He goes, yeah, why not. But he'd been in the
league for years and kind of knew what the situation was.
Some almost like Bryce Young's just got to play the
game so that he can hope that he gets the
hell out of there. And who knows, maybe he looks
decent and somebody looks at his trade base shown him.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
The level of buying and loyalty that they have towards
him as a player. They've shown it. Now, it's been expressed,
it's been shown to you. So you're getting the opportunity.
Fate has delivered an opportunity to your doorstep, fate, So
(28:28):
do it. Just do it, you know what I mean.
Don't overthink it, don't don't Oh what's that mean? Nah? Man?
Just every single play is like your last. Just do it.
Just just be be like loose and and be confident
in yourself because like really, hopefully only he and his
teammates really believe in him, because I know the coaches
(28:50):
thought that's yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
That's the truth. Like in all seriousness, even that team,
like they're the only ones that believe they might be
able to win a football game. There you go, because
no one on the outside does I mean showing us.
Would you or would you not bet against the Carolina
Panthers every single week the rest of the season? Oh god, yeah?
Speaker 4 (29:05):
Are you? Are you?
Speaker 1 (29:06):
Like I would I'd take the Carolina Hurricanes against them
in a seven on seven game, Like, yeah, they wouldn't
get my money, That's what I'm saying. Like I wonder if, like,
wouldn't it be sweet if Bryce Young they lose? But
Bryce Young came to the podium afterwards and said, you know,
it was great to keep it within nine and a half.
You know, at least we kept it within nine and
a half. So happy for everybody out there that actually
(29:27):
did bet on us, because like, the expectations are so
low low.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
Do you guys want to know what they are against
the spread this season?
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Oh jeez, I I don't know.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Man. They want to get other than the Raiders? Have they?
But but sprit wise, have they covered?
Speaker 4 (29:50):
Have they? Have they been?
Speaker 2 (29:51):
They've They're one in six and the Raiders was the
only one this actually might be. I mean this, they
could be on a historic pace. From a betting standpoint.
They were getting three and a half points. Week one,
they lost by thirty seven. They were getting four points
a week two, they lost by twenty three. As you noted,
they won, they'd be Las Vegas and that was the
(30:11):
one point underdog. They were a four and a half
point underdog. The next week they lost by ten. The
next week they're a four point underdog. They lost by
twenty six. The next week they're a six point underdog,
they lost by eighteen. And finally this past week they're
a double digit underdog ten and a half points. They
lose by thirty three. I would say your bet is
(30:39):
to bet and go ahead and lay the points versus
the Panthers. The way this team is played.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
See and if I'm Bryce Young, I'm like, hey, like,
let's sling this, Bill Man. Let's do what we're gonna do.
Get open, Bryce going deliver, Just get open. I'm gonna
find you, y'all block up front, Like look at me, y'all,
y'all block up front. We're going sizzler after this game,
(31:06):
y'all block, I'm al'm I'm gonna sling this thing still open. Yeah,
a couple of them.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
Really.
Speaker 4 (31:12):
Yeah, but it's just like a funny term. It's like
a fun term time szler. We're going on, said, I
didn't even know.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
You're above sizzler, my ass. He did look at you, like,
how dare you?
Speaker 4 (31:24):
We go to Golden I mean.
Speaker 6 (31:26):
I've seen them and it always catches my eye, but
less I think i've been.
Speaker 4 (31:29):
We go to Bourbon and Bones.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Happy Birthday, Junior High.
Speaker 4 (31:36):
We don't do Sizzler. We do Golden stare baby with
high end top shelf Red Winest, big old lobster tails,
big old juicy lobster tails.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Lea, are you ever afraid to order a nice bottle
of wine when you know you're not paying?
Speaker 1 (31:54):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (31:55):
Yeah, sure because depending where you're at, sure we're potentially
paying for the bill.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Does that change what you order?
Speaker 4 (32:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (32:04):
But hey, listen, it's not like I was going for
the high end stuff. Like I said, the wine was
cheaper than the cocktail. What the bottle of wine is
cheaper in the cockaitts.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
He was not not the not the bottle.
Speaker 4 (32:18):
It was maybe more so the way that he presented
himself when asking for sir, would you like another. Why yes,
I would, Why yes, I would thank you. I'll gladly
pay you for this burger that you've given me today
on Thursday or Friday. No, he was very proper, man,
(32:38):
I'm just saying very proper. So maybe I was I
was miss interpreting how much the drink was. I mean,
the bill was the bill, you know what I mean.
It is what it is. But I'm just saying I
felt as though he was going high end like, which
was fine. I mean I didn't care, but it was
just funny like he was up and now bitch, like
(33:00):
you know you need to lap up and right player,
you know what I mean, Give me that, give me
that red wine. I'm gonna do golden steer.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
Right. You did.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
You did it the right way.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
I do appreciate you going to nice places with Lee.
Just the whole experience, how people view him, how he
is sitting there conducting himself.
Speaker 4 (33:19):
It's an experience. So we had the best booth in
the house. I mean they they did it. They did
it like really amazing. It was good good good night
out Yeah go ahead, Well what you thinking one minute?
Oh we need to get out, Oh we need to
get out.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Two pros and a couple of Yeah. Fox Sports Radio

Speaker 1 (34:01):
So somebody in the NFL is at it again. We've
got the proof. You will hear them just calling everybody
out on their own team. That's yours ten minutes from now.
But right now it is time for something we do
on the show called this.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Sometimes you can't get to everything in the world of
sports or entertainment. Good thing, the guys are here to
bring you in case you missed it, and.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
For that we turn it over to our executive producer,
Lea Lap.
Speaker 6 (34:28):
Good morning, everybody, Good morning Jonas Brady, good morning.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Hey guys.
Speaker 6 (34:32):
In case you miss the Lap, heyvar guys, in case
you miss sis, there was a Hey Brady, there was
a survey on which NFL quarterback you'd most like to
have a beer with. Big surprise Baker Mayfield came out
on top, beating out Kirk Cousins.
Speaker 2 (34:45):
Why is that a surprise? Uh, you know, he just
popped the Zin in on the sidelines this past week, right,
some people call those a lip pillow. He wants to
enhance his neuroplasticity, so he's a part of the Zin
gang and nothing wrong with that. I think everyone would
agree Baker would be fun to have a beer with.
Speaker 6 (35:04):
Yeah, Uncle Rico Gardner Minsch would be good too, Jameis Winston.
They weren't actually a part of the poll, but you
know what, Zin came out and said they are not
happy with Baker Mayfield after he busted out the Zen.
Oh I didn't I feel why they did not want
it viewed by people under the age of twenty one
for Christ's sake.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Oh that's good tongue in cheek. Oh really they don't.
Speaker 4 (35:22):
They really are throwing air quotes up when they said
that guy's an idiot.
