And he stopped by the studio and he brought some

And of course Lee and wasting no time getting his hands.
Three in the mornings.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
That's that's prime real estate hours for a foot long sub.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Something tells me it's softening. Whatever he drank, he.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Said, soaking it up. Manuel says to us. He goes, hey,
we got one for you. We got one for sticks,
and we got one for the crop duster. All right.
So Lee's reputation proceeds him apparently, So Lee.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
We got to work on your copying pasting skills.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
D oh no, oh no, Lee, how do you mess
up copy and paste?

Speaker 4 (03:13):
He just doesn't pay attention to details.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
What happened?

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Was there a You're partially to blame, but I'm trying
to test it down.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
That's your man, that's your man.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
I'm trying to make it a more efficient process. It's
like our show lives in the nineteen nineties, the way
Jonas wants it. So instead of just you know, trying
to make things easier, it's just everyone behind the scenes.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
It's just like no one can adapt to it.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
What's the issue? What happened?

Speaker 4 (03:45):
You still send him an email? He just copy and
pastes it.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
I put it directly onto itbut.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
That Yeah, well, then you did a poor job copy
and paste.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
What do you mean, sh I? And then I copy
and paste and onto that.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Then you were to blame for this?

Speaker 1 (04:06):
What you're not a copy and paste fixing it as
we speak? All right, what's the issue?

Speaker 4 (04:12):
You've you basically copy and paste the things twice.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Let me see which ones?

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Well, I'm changing it now, can you well, can you
explain which one it is that was copy and pasted twice.
Let's just have the discussion on the area.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Okay, it's the one about Andrew Berry being noncommittal about
Watson and Cleveland.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah, yeah, So what's the what happened?

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Well, apparently he it sounds like.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Sounds like he's for Watson, but then it also sounds
like maybe he's trying to not discuss the future. But
then at the same time, it kind of sounds like
he might be the one to blame.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
I does that make sense at all?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
I mean, I know what you're explaining, but what is
that I'm talking about? Yeah, okay, but you went from
Andrew Berry, well.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
Because he wants to talk about on air, which I
think is probably the worst possible.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Thing to do at this moment.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Okay, yeah, I mean, now you tied it together. Yeah, yeah,
not really.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
I was trying to transition, but.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I don't get I'm so lost. The point of the
story is freaking learn how to copy and paste, Jonas.
Now I'm looking at this run. You're so better than
what you're doing right now.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
You and your man I looked exactly as is. So
how I put it on last night is exactly how
it was on. I don't know what the issue was.
If somebody else went on there afterwards and rearranged it,
then that's not my problem. I mean, and it definitely
ain't that big of a deal that right now. But nonetheless, is.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
It a big deal that Andrew Berry could be supporting
Desaun Watson versus is maybe not supporting Deshaun Watson versus
maybe he's coming back, versus maybe he's not coming back,
maybe something else. What does Andrew Berry really mean?

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Well, I mean, listen, it's gone so smoothly with DeShawn Watson.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
I mean, it's been the best case scenario playout since
they've gotten home. I agree. Like you talked about bang
for your body, I mean, ROI no pun intended, you
know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Yeah, But Nonetheless, Andrew Berry, the GM of the Cleveland
means I did talk about the Shawn Watson situation yesterday.
Obviously he is on the mend out for the year
with the Achilles. Let's take a listen to the Cleveland GM.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
I'm really not in reflection mode.

Speaker 6 (06:41):
I think that's probably I remember I got asked this about,
you know, Dobbs last year. It's really more not really
my focus at this point in the year. Our focus
is really on finishing out the twenty twenty four season,
having the team play at a higher level, and then
kind of won't get to like those maybe longer term
or big picture reflections of the later point in time.
Really our focus with Deshaun. I would say for any

(07:03):
player with a season eniting injury and a major injury,
is is first and foremost with the recovery and to
make sure that he gets healthy from the Achilles injury.
You know, everything else will deal with that a later moment.

Speaker 7 (07:15):
The world in which Deshaun Watson, can you come back
here and play.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
More football for you guys, Yeah, I think that's always possible.
I mean, listen, I mean those are all expected responses
if you ask me, very very minimum very you know, noncommittal,
but but very uh standard, that's a standard response, right.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
What we didn't have is sound on a few different
ways in which you know, he answered things. So for example,
he talked about, you know, obviously this being less than
ideal in particular to evaluating you know, his these long absences.
But he did mention that, hey, all of us were
on board when we made the decision, and you know,
everyone was on board almost like kind of saying, yeah,

(07:59):
this looks like it's going to be on my lap
at some point because they contract because of how he
built this roster. But you know, everyone was on board
with that decision. And I think you make a comment
like that because if you're looking around the room, Jimmy
Haslem ain't going anywhere. Kevin Stefanski just won Coach of

(08:19):
the Year, so I think people are giving him the
benefit of the doubt, giving me He's won it twice,
so he's got the reputation for being this coach. And
I'm sure there's been times when you hear him talk
and it feels like he doesn't want to have to
deal with this. I mean we talked about that earlier
LeVar this season, and so if you're looking at the
direction of where the season's going. And if you get

(08:41):
to the end of the year and fans are like, well,
doesn't someone have to take the fall for this? Like
doesn't someone have to take the blame for how we
get here? It might be pointing squarely at Andrew Barry.
And if that's the case, there's probably a thought of like,
he better started laying the groundwork to protect himself or
insulate himself from from being the guy that like ultimately

(09:02):
made this decision. That's right, That's what I think this
is about. That's why I think this might where this
might be heading.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
I would say it's interesting that that perspective, because I
totally agree in sports there always has to be a
fall guy. You just asked, Chris, Chris Carter, you know
you gotta make sure you have that fall guy in place.
Y'all got a crew, you gotta crew, You gotta have
a fall guy. And that's how this thing all works.
Something goes wrong. It doesn't need to go wrong for you,

(09:29):
it needs to go wrong for that designated fall guy.
Imagine to say that with a straight face to rookies.
I just think that where Cleveland is right now, someone
has to take the blame for this decision that took
place with Deshaun Watson. And I think at this point
it's clear you can define the Deshaun Watson situation as

(09:52):
a debacle. So it's the Deshaun Watson debacle. Now it
becomes the Deshaun Watson controversy because the controversy exists and
who made the decision. You know, I made the point
not too long ago where I felt like Stefanski was
falling on the sword for whoever made this decision by

(10:15):
the things that he said as it applied to what
they were doing and how they were handling things with Watson.
Now Watson gets injured, it's out of Stefanski's hands because
fate handled the situation for Kevin Stefanski. Now it falls
in the hands of probably most likely the people who
made the decision to bring him there. And you're never

(10:36):
going to sit there and say that it's purely Andrew
Berry that that's to blame for it and the public
because you can't bring in a guy at that amount
of money without the ownership being in total total lockstep
with doing that because it's too much money. But since
you're not going to to to make a move on

(10:59):
on ownership. Ownership is never going to be incorrect in
these scenarios. The designated fall guy in this situation has
to be the GM.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
I have a two part question for you guys, all right,
first part is, did the Cleveland Browns have a good roster?

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Okay, so solid. Andrew Berry is the GM there.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
He would probably be one of the reasons why they
built up a decent roster. Here's the second question. Who
do you believe ultimately made the decision to bring into
Shaun Watson ownership?

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Yeah? So, how the hell?

Speaker 4 (11:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (11:32):
But Andrew Barry be held responsible for something ownership did
when he's built a good roster.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Because somebody has to be the sacrificial lamb to maintaining
hope for your fan base.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Jimmy has them can't come out and be like, hey,
that's on me, like sorry, Like they could.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
He's lost credibility and they could. Obviously.

Speaker 5 (11:54):
I'm a little closer to the Cleveland situation than most
because when you watch how he took over as an owner,
and there's been turnover after turnover after turnover at some point,
and he kept talking about when to fix and wanted
to get it right, It's hard to build up any
confidence with anyone within that organization with him and their
decision making. So because of that, I think that's the

(12:17):
hard part is I don't know that he wants to
admit that he was wrong. I mean it's pretty blatant too.
I think when you look at it, we all realized, like, well,
if anyone was to blame, it's probably him for ultimately
agreeing to it. But again, maybe maybe it should have
been Andrew Barry who said, Jimmy, don't do this, like
you don't need to give him this contract, because ultimately

(12:39):
he had to sign off on that. So by the
way the roster building, an owner can sit there and say, well, yeah,
I was able to pay a bunch of cash too
to make that roster possible. You know, there's the drafting
of it as well. I mean it's more of a
cohesive group. So if you're.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
Looking at this, like who else was going to take
the blame?

Speaker 1 (12:58):
If it's not Andrew Berry, I think Kevin Stefanski could
have been the fall guy just based off of the
performance of the team and with Deshaun Watson in there.
If they're not performing at a high level, there's the
possibility that you could say, all right, like this falls

(13:19):
to an easy little.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Hanging fruit the which I also wonder if he'd be
okay with that, because he's like, I don't want to
be in the situation anymore either.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
A cute That's why I said before. I feel like
he's like, hey, I'll take the blame because in the end, look,
think about it, right, think about everything we're saying right now.
If you think back to Stefanski saying I'm making the
final decision here, it's my decision to make, he's basically saying,
do not look at anyone else as being culpable for
what's taking place with Deshaun Watson. I got it. So

(13:52):
if it does indeed fall on his feet, that he's
got it. Andrew Barry has an easy out, and so
does the ownership. But with that being said, nobody's gonna
look at Kevin Stefanski if he gets fired and say
Kevin Stefanski did a horrible job as a coach for
the Cleveland Browns, You're looking at it like he got screwed.
He took one for the team. So it actually was

(14:15):
a strategically sound decision, and especially if it's based off
of your reasoning of what you're saying right now, it's like, hey,
maybe I want to get out of this situation. Maybe
I don't want to work in this dysfunction, you know,
And now I'm able to get out of it. Keep
my reputation intact. I took one for the team. It's
clear that I took this bullet for the team, and

(14:37):
now that gives me an opportunity to start anew and
maybe clean the slate and go somewhere where it's actually
a better situation.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
And proven that he can do it with other quarterbacks
not named Deshaun Watson, like he did it with flak Oh,
he did it with Baker Mayfield. He took the team
to the playoffs twice. That's different.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Contract said you were clearly there. I can't. I would
not be able to name very many, if any at all, coaches,
head coaches that would have the pimpant excuse me, not
pimp paint, but the strong hand. It's not not appropriate anymore. Yeah,
the stronghand to be able to wield a offer such

(15:16):
as the one that Deshaun Watson got that's out of
his pay grade because it's so far out of the
parameters of what a budget would be within the confines
of this cap. You're not going as a head coach.
You're not going to be able to clear and give
a contract like like that out to any player. You're not,

(15:36):
So I think Stefanski's playing it the right way. Don't
say not one word bad about anybody in this organization.
Just keep coaching the best that you can, knowing that
everybody's looking at it and talking about what the dysfunction
has looked like, or the disconnect and the lack of
of you know, success from Deshaun Watson and all of

(15:56):
the things that have gone along with Deshaun Watson. It's
an easy out. So it's kind of like a tug
award at this point. Barry has to present himself in
a way where he stays surface level, which that's what
he did. Stefanski has to be the coach and try
to maintain his respect with his players and maintain you

(16:16):
know what it is that he does, the integrity of
his job. That's what he did. The only person you
ain't heard from in all of this is the ownership,
which in reality, that's probably the proper way for them
to handle it as well. So to me, you got
three entities that are handling the situation and what is

(16:37):
perceivably self preservation mode for all parties involved. Yeah, three
way game of chess going on, which I've never seen
that before, but I think that would be pretty cool
to watch that take place on a board.

Speaker 5 (16:49):
Actually, that would be sweet least sitting that an adult
film before.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Where the rook goo called the called the torpedo. Three am.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Just steal my bishop.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
That's what the name of this. This show is called
today three am. With my torpedo in my mouth, little
gaide the ruck. He can't talk right now because his
mouth is full. Wait, you helm in there eating your
pipe of that sandwich down already, a scarf in it.

Speaker 7 (17:20):
You can.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
We verify whether or not you're eating this right now,
because you need to cushion whatever you consumed yesterday.

Speaker 4 (17:31):
As far as adult beverages.

Speaker 7 (17:33):
I had a couple of margaritas yesterday, but that was
really early in the day, so I'm doing good.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
What's really early in the day, three o'clock.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
That's not early early, dude.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
If you're so happy like before.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Noon, that's a lie. I sleep until noon. I can
see that. I can see you sleeping until noon. Dang.
I get so much work done by noon. God, Lee,
I pushed around. You pushed it?

Speaker 7 (18:03):
Yeah, I pushed it, like literally literally yeah, because that
girl Mom's no, the old one the Malibu because we're uh,
they're asphalt in the street, and so I had to
push it into a driveway.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
Now did you do it by yourself?

Speaker 7 (18:18):
I got the neighbors, John and John, John and John,
John and John.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
Now do they smelled the same way or there's one there?
One smell without an age?

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Well, I always called the other John by his last name,
los On. I'm sure you wanted that on there, John
and lo On. Huh okay. Interesting, it's like the life
in Times of Life, I swear to God, I mean
his life is really it really is a TV show.
I can't believe somebody hasn't approached us about doing the

(18:48):
reality TV show. It really could re establish like reality
TV is really taking like a back seat to other
styles of and other forms of content. But life would
lead the lot. Life would lead the lot. Come on, man,
me and Lee something to that effect. That's it's that's
that's money. I can't believe nobody's done this. Oh Man money.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
I think he's good for those like thirty second highlights.
Then after that you'd be like, this is kind of poring.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Yeah, click, it's a TikTok show. Yeah it's not.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
It's not like a thirty minute I don't think we
get twenty minutes.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Oh TikTok viral TikTok cliffs.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
I mean we tried the leftovers. We try to dig
into your life a little bit more than that.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
He's not willing to be fully transparent. That's the problem.
If he was fully transparent, Leftovers would literally be the
best segment on this show.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
The problem is like how do you film? Those moments
were just blocks out for two hours.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
There was not much.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
That's why he needs assistance, like like within his ecosystem
of fridge. And when we did it with Todd, it
was a win, and we brought Todd on, it was
a win.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
We can I tell you what I noticed yesterday you
sent over the listing for the place that you're selling
your face, and I remember you told me a story
how you couldn't get to work because you had lost
your keys and you found him behind the sink, and
I was like, that doesn't make any sense. And then
I was looking through the photos. I was like Oh,
that's where they probably was. Can you send the listening

(20:19):
to our group chat just so we can.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
Check this out?

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Yeah, right now, I have no use this morning.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
What's that you have an open house today?

Speaker 1 (20:28):
You're not selling place? Looks great? It looks awesome back place.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
If you do get the right offer. Are you ready
to close right now?

Speaker 6 (20:37):
No?

Speaker 5 (20:39):
Is everyone involved in this property ready to close right now?

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Liar, they're lying. He's lying based on the last couple
of days. Probably the last couple of days. Huh, like
a couple of years made. That sounds a little But
everybody needs a fall guy, you know what I mean?
And then that situation, Lee is easily going to be
the fall guy. Easily. Lee?

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Did you copy and paste twice in the Google doc?
I'm still trying to figure out. I haven't opened the
Google doc.

Speaker 7 (21:09):
I did quickly do a little copy and paste, but
I'll check it right well.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
I already deleted it, I already changed it. It's all right.

Speaker 7 (21:17):
But uh, what we have in front of us looks good,
nice and pretty.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
You are funny, dude. I'm done when you do. Bro,
that's all right.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
I tried my.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Best coming up next here from.

Speaker 5 (21:33):
You're just gonna live in the nineteen nineties and live
passively aggressively for the rest of us life.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
What do you mean, what did I do dig up
your dead dog? What do I do?

Speaker 4 (21:40):
Go get your dead dog?

Speaker 1 (21:42):
What does my dead dog have to do with anything about?

Speaker 4 (21:44):
Nothing? Exactly? That's the point.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
I loaded up the Google doc. I don't know if
it got copy and pasted twice.

Speaker 4 (21:50):
You say you.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Loaded it up. There's no loading. The Google doc just
lives that exists. Yeah, you make adjustments or edits to it.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Yeah, yeah, you make adjustments and edits. I loaded up,
always making adjustments to that bad boy, always like every minute,
by the minute. Yeah, yeah, it was prettier less. Oh
I'm a dog on that document, Alee. Wouldn't you say
that I did a great job loading that thing up?
Looks good to me. Chambers fall on that Google doc

(22:19):
after I'm done.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
That's because you're looking at a foot long sandwich, right, Yes, he.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Is right between the ass right in the pie hole.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Dab all right, So we all gonna have the usuals

Lee's leftovers. It's all yours here from the tairaq dot
Com studios. Coming up next here though we now know

(22:48):
why a move was made in the NFL with one player.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
We'll get into that for you here on FSR.

Speaker 3 (22:55):

Speaker 5 (23:12):
Actually correct your Yeah, dude, your place looks really nice.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
Man.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Oh thank you man. If you get a really nice spot, buddy,
I know I'm did a great job. I thought it
was great the Projects. Then I saw it. I was like,
I was shocked. I was like that always thought he
lived in the projects. LeVar thought there was like a
picture of kool Aid on the counter, yeah, and a
bag of sugar right next to it. And that was

(23:37):
not the case. You thought there's gonna be their shoes
up on the power line. I mean I did see
that extra bit. I did say that extra bit in
the bathroom though, I mean the kitchen.

Speaker 5 (23:51):
I was just gonna say, so that the chair with
the TV at the end of the kitchen, that's the
interesting one.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Yeah, yeah, that is seen. What isn't it that used
to be in office?

Speaker 4 (24:02):
Is that what you put there?

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Though? No? Does that recline that chair? It does? It does. Yeah.
And what you don't see there is there's actually like.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
You can't convince me. You can't convince me you haven't
had a foot long sum late night after a long
day drinking, kicked back in that thing watching TV.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
It's not available for him occupy that.

Speaker 7 (24:22):
I mean sometimes it's sometimes it's here. How much is
red for that recline?

Speaker 4 (24:29):
Hold on than divulge more? Is that essentially another bedroom?

Speaker 8 (24:35):
Side?

Speaker 1 (24:36):
That's a bedroom. There a pile of blankets next to it.

Speaker 7 (24:40):
Yeah, toilet trees folded in there.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
You know.

Speaker 5 (24:46):
So when you said you were sleeping on the couch,
that's where you were actually sleeping.

Speaker 7 (24:49):
No, no, no, no, I sleep on the big blue couch.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
There's a pecking order in that crib. Oh Man league
happens to fall like me I did.

Speaker 5 (25:02):
I did notice the mirrors on the sliding glass store.
I feel like very strategic. You don't want to replace those?

Speaker 7 (25:08):
You know I did replace those. Actually they're nicer, now,
did you really?

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (25:13):
I built them, just put the same thing. You put
the same thing back.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
In though, basically just upgraded it.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
Well, yeah, do you get where I'm going with this?

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Right? Yes? I do? You use them though? Okay, sure
yes he does, Sure, sure gets plenty of use.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
I also noticed there's no TV in the bedroom.

Speaker 7 (25:31):
Ly, Uh, then wasn't always that way? But uh, yeah,
there's no TV in the bedroom.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
You put the TV where you can use it if.

Speaker 5 (25:42):
He doesn't want to be preoccupied when he's doing other things, though, LeVar, how.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Many TV's have been Uh? I have had an unfortunate
accident in that place?

Speaker 1 (25:52):
Oh no, since you lived there? One or two?

Speaker 4 (25:58):
Dang?

Speaker 1 (25:59):
Really is the project?

Speaker 4 (26:00):
I have never broken a TV in my life out
of frustration. Has that happened early?

Speaker 1 (26:08):
I've done it once. I'm not guilty. Once that was
in my That was in my days. Let's see, I
was still playing ball and we used to uh and
Madden was it Madden?

Speaker 8 (26:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (26:22):
It was Madden. We used to create. Me and my
boys used to create our own high school all time,
greats teams, so everybody was at one hundred. Everybody was
named after somebody that was great from their high school,
from like every position. And one time I was playing
one of my homies at like like really intense you know,

(26:43):
debates between if a city school would have played you know,
a whippy old school and who would have won, and
why this and why that, and we we let it
play out on the sticks, and he beat me, and
he beat me bad, and before we were before I
got skunked, I threw my remote through the television because

(27:04):
it was more important to break the TV than for
him to skunk me with a city league team over
a whippy old team. Quahda, here you go, petty. I've
had really petty moments in my life. Definitely some remote controls.
I melted down. I did, I gotta admit, but I
gave up games. Man. I don't play games, and partially

(27:25):
because I'm too competitive, even when I play chess, in
which chess is a gentleman's game, and I love to
be a gentleman. I shake hands after every game. I
shake hands before every game, every match, but if I
lose to the same person too many times, I start
knocking the board over and like then I want to

(27:46):
fight the dude that I'm playing. Like it's like, all right,
you're smarter than me. Right now, you can beat me
on the table, so I'm gonna whoop your ass. Hostile
it is. And then I try to like, like you know,
put that like pressure on you physically so that you
can't focus enough to beat me. And then I finally
went again, and then I'm happy again and all this forgiven.
So there you go. Gotta find the right system. Well

(28:08):
that is the right system. I went, or I kick
your ass. It's kind of one of those things. And
if you can whoop me, then you still I'm still
like give you some bruises, but I'm gonna keep trying.
You know. It's kind of like what happened to Preston
Smith if you think about it. I realized I wasn't
strong anymore. I know that's a great segue, but I
beat I beat Michael Parsons one time, and then he

(28:31):
came back and beat me like two or three times,
and I tried to body slam me because I was upset.
And that was when I realized that, you know, the
difference between an active player and an old retired player,
there is a significant gap in what the strength level is,
and that might have been the first time in my

(28:51):
life that I felt fear that I'm going to get
hurt or like choked out or something like bad is
going to happen, because I felt a different level of
strength coming like like coming from his body. It's intensity too, right, Yeah,
you forget here's the reality, LeVar. You forget the amount
of intensity that you took into when you played then

(29:14):
where you just you never get back to that.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
There's never a time.

Speaker 5 (29:18):
Where you feel like that feeling that you had then,
and you kind of forget what that was.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Like I thought I could hold him down, and then
I felt him break my grip on him, and then
he was like it was like he was his muscles
were expanding, and I could tell that this build up
was going to lead to something really really really bad
for me. And all I could do was panic, you know,
all I could do was panic and plead like, Okay,

(29:43):
I'm done, I'm done. I'm done. But I ain't know,
like because I really grabbed him up and really like
threw him down, So it wasn't I'm done when I
was when I had the upper hand when when he
clearly turned on his game day muscle, I panicked. So
there you go, just a moment of vulnerability there. Anyway,

(30:04):
I don't even know how we got there, but it's
kind of interesting. And Preston Smith, I get you. You know,
he's out. Yeah he's out. Yeah he's out. Yeah he
is out. He probably felt that same game strength that
I'm talking to you about. You know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
He definitely did. Yeah, he definitely did. He actually spoke
about did Yeah, you spoke about it. So Preston Smith,
who was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the
Pittsburgh Steelers at the deadline, Yeah, he want the Smith brothers.
He spoke about the move and said the following quote.
I didn't feel like I was being useful in the
system and it was catering to my style of play

(30:40):
moving forward. I wasn't surprised when I got the call.
I got what I asked for, and I'm at a
place that a great place with some great teammates. I'm
excited for the new start, and I'm excited for the
rest of the journey for this season. So apparently a
little scheme switch up there for Preston Smith going from
Green Bay to Pittsburgh.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Who wouldn't want to be an ad that has his
body type, by the way, which is a three to
four type of outside backer, which totally fits into what
the prototype of the outside rush in slash outside backer,
three to four backer looks like. In Pittsburgh. Why would

(31:21):
you not want to go there and be in that rotation?
It has It has rarely ever not worked out for
an adge rusher in Pittsburgh. If you have any type
of pass rush ability or the ability to set an edge,
it has rarely not worked out for you. Even if
you're not a perennial All Pro or Pro bowler, you're

(31:46):
still able to have a tremendous amount of success just
based off of the way they run this style of defense,
and it has translated through the different the different defensive
coordinators who have been there. It just seems to be
a staple of Pittsburgh Steeler culture is your outside three
four rush linebackers are going to be beasts. So it's

(32:08):
a great opportunity, great situation for Presston to be in.
I mean, he's going to be in a rotation. He's
definitely not going to be a start. I can't see
him beating out High Smith and it doesn't even have
to be a conversation for TJ. Watt. So he would
definitely be a rotational guy. He's probably a swing guy,
or you can make High Tower a swing guy. I
mean High Smith a swing guy in terms of that

(32:31):
X backer, that X backer that you can move along
the line of scrimmage where you stand them up and
you have like three or four defensive ends, outside backers,
rush backers being able to pick and choose where they
want a game. They could game to tackle all the
way in through the guard to the center, and they
can do it on either side of the ball. So
it gives them a little bit of flexibility to be

(32:51):
able to use their their defensive guys a little bit
more than what they would if they didn't have as
many pass rushers on on on the team. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:01):

It, and for that we turn it over to our
executive producer, Lead Lap.

Speaker 7 (34:46):
Good morning everybody, Good morning Jones, Scouring Brady, Goo, morning LeVar.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
In case you missed this, Opal, thank you, sir.

Speaker 7 (34:57):
In case you miss Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundhy
digging himself into a hole. Obviously they're on a six
game losing streak. Os Hey, Brady and falling out the fans.
Huh yeah, well he has been been a thing lately. Yeah, okay,
Well he has gotten a lot of criticism. This is
what he had to say to the critics.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
Well, that's what.

Speaker 8 (35:15):
Happens in college athletics. And as Jenny said, she's exactly right.
It's just on the bigger stage where people can voice
their opinion, and in most cases the people that are
negative in the voice in their opinion, and the same
ones that can't pay their own bills. They're not taking
care of themselves, they're not taking care of their own family,
they're not taking care of their their their own job,
that they have an obligation to speak out and complain

(35:38):
about others because it makes them feel better.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
He has sense apologized on Twitter. Why are you apologizing?
Like what's there to apological about something that you genuinely,
sincerely meant when you said it. I'm sick of people apologizing,
I mean honestly, like what part of that did he
not mean when he said it? And for what it's
worth in some cases, like you just got to be
honest and I'm sorry, I'm not going to apologize for it.

(36:03):
Where's he lying? What part of what he's saying isn't
isn't correct? Like look at the status of our society
and our culture where it's showed me the lies? So right, No,
I don't get it. Now you got to apologize why
they're telling you because the optics of it doesn't look right,
Like you know, he was in a moment you said

(36:25):
how you felt that on it. They can't fay their.

Speaker 2 (36:28):
Bills and look, here's the thing, right, oh, man.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
I didn't take not one single piece of offense to
what Mike Gundhy said. So if you're offended by it,
Like if you hurt Mike Gundhy and you were offended
by it and you wanted an apology, you know what
that means. You're one of the people he's directly talking to.
Cause if that's not you, what are you offended for? Oh,
I'm offended for all the people he's speaking to. No, hell,

(36:54):
you're not. You're not. So if you're offended and you're like,
I can't believe Mike Gundhy, a coach would say something
like that, his conduct is inappropriate. He's talking to you,
he's talking to your ass. Do better. You want to
talk about how bad he is, then you do better
in your own personal life, because somebody could be putting
it in the media how bad you are. How about that?

Speaker 6 (37:16):
Man?

Speaker 1 (37:18):
I got you, Mike, Yeah, just go ahead and coach.
Some people. Understand where you're coming from. I happen to
be one. Damn right, you got that right? All right?
That I'm a stand on it, stand on, stand on
stand
