all right, the list of all the coaches in the
NFL that there hot. Yeah, they were speculating, like, hey,

(02:03):
so who could be on the on the go and
who could be out of here all these different conversations.
One of the names that was near the bottom of
the list was Mike was Mike McDaniel, And I remember
thinking to myself, really, because the Dolphins with two and
without him night and day difference, that's that's a significantly
better football team. And I think, to really judge Mike McDaniel,

(02:26):
especially this season, it was really unfill Well, there's two conversations.
There's the one with two and the one without him. Now,
probably not ideal to try and make a tackle on
an interception and leave with your head like that, but
nonetheless Miami gets it done, and it's a significantly better
football Do you.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Guys find yourselves watching like yes, like every single tackle,
every single time he rolls out, every single time, somebody
hits him. Every like, somebody hit him in the hit
yesterday he got hit in the hit. I remember to play,
but I don't remember the exact play to explain, but anyway,
he did get it, like somebody hit him in the head.

(03:02):
And I'm like sitting there like is that is that?
Is that a concussion?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Like?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Did he get one there? Like? Is he going to
tell us? Are they going to tell us? Are we
going to know? I just found myself at asking myself
questions that were like, really, in my in my mind,
is kind of unnecessary while while I'm watching the game.
But nonetheless, that's that's where I'm at, at least for

(03:28):
me in my reality when I watch the Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
It's getting to the point where I feel like, if
there's a brisk wind, I might be like, oh, did
he get here detrimental?

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yes, And he's going to be hopefully playing for another
ten years in the league, So the next decade we're
going to go every time, he thinks, so I'll just saying,
if things go well doing this years from now.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I don't think physically, because here's the thing. If you
are not going to adjust how you're doing things now
and you're just going to continue to play the way
that you've always played, which is he almost has to
because of the necessity of being able to buy time
and be able to deliver the ball, He's going to
have to move out of the pocket. That's like moving

(04:13):
out of the pocket a safe, clean pocket is like
jumping out of the Safari truck that is driving through
the Serengetti. It's just like it. Right as soon as
you jump out of that truck, them animals know you're
not off limits anymore.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
What would you say if you're on that truck and
you saw someone jump out.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Oh well, god bless the river flipping around. What a
dumb ass. That's what I'd say, honestly, the first thing
I say, you jumped out of that track, Like, what
a dumb ass? Have you seen that? Lord's will man? Yeah,
you'll be honesty.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
I don't know if I want to do one of
those like people right around of those trucks and I'm like,
there just doesn't feel like there's a whole lot.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Of separation between you and those animals, Like um Jima
is right there, Like who's um Juma? Oh he just
runs these lands. He's he's the lion that runs the
lion and he's whare Well, if you just lets it real,
that's real. Quietly make sure he says, I think I

(05:18):
gotta take a potty. I'm gonna go over this tree.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Ain't there?

Speaker 2 (05:22):
You're a dumb atma over there moaning and groaning. Make
sure you say a little humladu over there, the melee damn,
Oh my god, Well go dolphins, Uh there, well go fens.

(05:43):
There's no there's no dolphins in the Serengetti. And there
is one that's that's that's trying to survive the Serengetti.
And I don't know how that works. I mean, porpoise
in the Serengetti. I don't know. I don't know how
that works. I just don't. But that's why I find
myself looking at Man like like it's not a matter
to me. It's like it's not a matter of if

(06:05):
it will ever happen again, which is sad. That sucks.
It's a sad commentary for me. In my mind. I'm
sitting there like, Man, it's not even a matter of
if he'll ever get one. It's a matter of win.
It's a matter of win, and that's how I'm looking
at it. And you know, great win for him. There's
a big win for him on the national stage. I
just feel like the overwhelming conversation is not going to

(06:29):
be about Mike McDaniel and his uh McDaniel's daniel, I
mess it up every time. No s no, s not plural.
It's not about him and his job security. I don't
even think it as really about what that was their
third win yesterday. I don't I don't even really think
that it's about the Miami Dolphins winning so much. I

(06:50):
really think that the storyline is going to overwhelmingly be
how did to A make it through? Or how did
to A doe? How did did too will make it
through the game? That's maybe it's a personal thing, but
that's just how I was viewing him. We're gonna do
this every game for the rest of his career. I mean,
unless he gets far enough away where he doesn't get one.

(07:11):
But don't you still think that is going to be
in the back of your mind, like, oh, is he
going to get hit right here? Like every single time
he started to scramble, I was like, oh, man, get
rid of it, please, just it ain't even worth it.
Just throw it away. How many times do you really ever,
like if you look back and like a guy like
Peyton Manning's career, how many times did he really like

(07:33):
try to extend to play? And I could be off
q you like I know you you be? I mean
not very often, Like wasn't he throwing it away? Like
he's like, oh here he had thrown away none.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
I said this the other day.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
I mean we can talk for and this is why
yesterday I was like trying to have given you an
impassion speech about where the league's at, because there is
no more quarterback development in the league in the end
of and by the time guys get to the NFL,
it's really really hard to teach them how to play
the game the way it used to be taught to

(08:11):
be played, like playing with a sense of rhythm with
your full work.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
And it starts when they're younger.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
I mean, I've got, you know, nephews now that they
start in shotgun, and I'm like, this is the worst
thing for them. Like a lot of these kids are
never going to learn what it means to take a
drop from under center and then throw off one hitch
and get to your second hitch to get your second
read everything that goes along with that. There's a reason

(08:37):
why it was always taught that way and why it
translated from from under center to gun. And because of that,
you get guys now who not only don't have a
sense of timing and when to throw it away, but
then they're told not to throw it away because it's
going to hurt their rating, and that stat it matters
for the completion percentage, that stat of matters for what
they're rating is.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
And all those stats.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
Matter because people read box scores and so instead of
watching the game or looking at you know what actually
happened in the game to just go, oh, well, you
only completed fifty percent of his passes. Well, yet he
threw the ballway five times. That completion percentage looks a
lot different, right if he's fifteen of twenty as opposed
to ten of twenty because five men got pressure and

(09:20):
thrown away and instead of you know, being you know,
backed up, they actually helped add on yards. I mean,
imagine your average sack takes you know, six seven yards
per sack.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
You get sacked four or five times.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
When that adds up, that's a few first down sometimes
and oftentimes that plays like a big time difference in
the field position battle and being close enough to take
a field goal, being able to pin a team back.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
There's all sorts of things.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
So you know, these are these are like lessons that
was taught way back when that now no one cares
about it anymore.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
Like I'm on a soapbox trying.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
To tell people like this is what quarterback plays stinks,
but no one cares to listen.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
There's a oh, oh watch it, don't care. Oh, we'll
watch it. I'm want to twirl the TV. Watch them
which watch them go bowl.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Which way did he go? Which way did go? Hey, boo?
Watch football football to watch a game, watch football, watch football,
boo boo ball.

Speaker 5 (10:18):
Football football time.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
It's the sport of kings.

Speaker 5 (10:22):
Better than Dimemory. I love football football.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
He don't spin it real good this game.

Speaker 5 (10:29):
I loved that football.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Boom boom. Yeah. We haven't been real nice to the
NFL or football last couple of days, you know.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Because they need to get their crap together.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
Can we be the only ones who can call it out?
And by the way, we're not the only ones. I've
started to see people more and more, you know, talk
about it on podcasts, talk about it in different platforms.
You know, guys, I know that, you know, especially when
it comes down in draft time. They're watching a lot
of tape of players and they're watching tape. They're like,
my goodness, Like this is this is what the league

(11:05):
looks like right now.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
It's it's a bad product.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
I've talked to a couple of coaches and they've said
something similar like it's it's hard because there's so much
pressure on these guys to win that so much of
the emphasis week by week in the NFL isn't on
a few periods of development or fundamentals. It's on game
plan install and making sure guys have everything they need

(11:29):
in order to execute properly on Sundays. That's a problem, man, Yeah,
it's And that game wasn't all that hot last It
was not.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
It was not a very entertaining game. Man. I was
fighting asleep hours too.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
But but they got some weapons, like when you see
the Dolphins kind of turning on times. Even John Smith
has stepped up, made some big time plays like it
is gonna be the question of what if, Like what
if Tua was healthy this year? That to me looks
like a playoff team. Maybe I'm wrong, No, you're not wrong.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Listen. It looked good at times, it did. They looked fast,
it looked good at times. My baby boy, Chop Robinson
had a nice little like they hadn't been getting to
the quarterback all like that Chop got to the Q
beat like. There were some moments where you like, listen,
this isn't a bad Rams team. This Rams team was surging.

(12:22):
This was a surging team. So I mean they got Hookah,
Nakua and.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
Hookah.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, I was thinking about it. I was thinking about listen.
They got back, They had he should Rightkua, uh, you know, listen,
full full force, full strength. The Rams are a formidable
opponent and and they showed that they beat an equality team.

(12:56):
I think that was a quality win for Miami. I
really do. And it was on a nightnational platform. That
was a quality When my question continues to be as
exciting as they can be with what they're able to
do and having to a back, how long does it last?
That's my that I mean. And again I don't wish

(13:16):
ill upon anyone that's not me saying it, because oh
I want to see him get hurt. So if you
want to like misinterpret what I'm saying, screw you. I'm
telling you in real time, real life, looking at this
man and his health and how easily some of these
last concussions that we've seen come, and how it looks
when when those concussions happen. I'm sitting there looking at

(13:39):
it like when is it going to happen? That's how
I feel about it. Yeah, so this is what it is.
And then what does that mean for the for the
team if it were to happen sooner than later? What
whenever it happens, what does that mean? Like? What do
you do moving forward. It's such a compromising position.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
To be optimistic. Way to look at things too, like,
hey to a great game? Do you get your head
caved in?

Speaker 5 (14:04):
Hey too?

Speaker 6 (14:05):
Are you?

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Are you? Are you okay? Are you okay? How many
times you think dudes was asking him you good? Hey bro?
Hey bro? You good? All right? Cool?

Speaker 5 (14:15):
You good?

Speaker 2 (14:16):
How much pressures on those offensive linemen, Like imagine one
of them defensive ends or a blitzing linebacker. Somebody gets
a safety blitz, somebody gets past them, Like do I
want to turn and look? Do I want to see
what's going to happen? Says crossing a freeway? Yes he is,
Yes he is. Every time he leaves that pocket, he's frogger.

(14:38):
Oh man, yes he is. It's unfortunate. I mean, that's
the truth. That's the truth. I wonder what the defenders feel.
I asked myself the question, what would I? And it's sad.
You want to know the sad commentary of my conclusion.
I'm an acy, Like if I get a free one
on him, I'm asinging out of there, Get him out

(14:59):
of there. That's that's how bad it is. Like that's bad.
And maybe I'm looking at it the way I'm looking
at it because of the mentality that I carry with me.
If he if he's got a bad ankle, I'm gonna
get to that ankle. If he's got a bad arm,
I'm gonna get to his arm. I'm gonna ace. I'm
gonna bite it. Hey, hand it back to you. I

(15:20):
can't get.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
Over the car Kyler Murray, the Calamari, the hit that
he took this last week.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
He knocked that helmet right on off.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
Bro.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
That's to him. Man, his head might go with it. Yeah,
that might have been a decapitation.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Like think about it, though, Can you can you run
your your normal frog? Dude? Can you run your normal playbook?
Wind Dolphins? They released it. That was a free release, Blitzer,
wasn't it? It was a free release, Blitzer. It's like
get rid of the ball. He didn't even know that
the guy was coming. How do you not know? On? Like,

(15:56):
you're letting that guy go free. He gets to you
and not your freaking helmet, like five yards away from
your body. Like, if that's Tua, it could happen. Like
it can happen, and you're not going to go through.
Name me one quarterback that goes through games without getting hit,
without getting sacked. Name me one, show me the snack.

Speaker 5 (16:19):
It's pretty rare.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
So so when you put it in those terms, he's
going to get hit. Yeah, that's all I'm saying. You know,
he's going to get hit. And Kenny like that hit
from from Damar Damar, what was it, damaramam the Damar
Hamlin hit. That was not a vicious tackle. That was
not a hit, That was not a hit from a

(16:43):
defensive linement. Bro, it wasn't a big hit. It was
not a big hit. So it just it just says
to me, it's like when when you know, sad sucks
because because what's going to happen is people are gonna
get upset with me because I sat there and I
said this now, and it's gonna happen. First thing, LaVar

(17:06):
spoke that evil on. You know, they had the nerve
to say I was bad luck for watching the commanders,
like they should get that bum out of there. He
was bad luck for the DA time. Hell, you know, sorry,
let's just see I think I'm sorry. I'm the reason
why too was gonna get hurt. I'm sorry. The reason
that the commander's loss is that I was there with
my family, you know, reintegrating into you know, uh, commander society.

(17:31):
Sorry my apologies. Yeah, let you out on work release. Yeah,
I had, I had to get back into population, you know.
Jem pop, Jim Pop Homie.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Well, listen, Tua, you made it through and we'll uh,
I'll continue out and there you go, and you won.
You Tom made it through and they won. There you go.
All is well in the world.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
and you. So we are gonna have the usuals coming.
Pete Prisco's going to stop by. I hope you're in
a good mood because Will Levis had zero turnovers this weekend,
so that'll be a fun conversation. We're also going to
have another edition of In case you missed it. We've
got Lee's leftovers. It's all yours here as we take
you all the way up again until nine am Eastern time,

(18:14):
six o'clock Pacific. But somebody's pushing back. They've heard the noise,
they've heard the smoke. They are pushing back on commentary
following some comments they made this weekend.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
You'll hear them right here on FSR.

Speaker 6 (18:27):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
It is two Pros. I'm sneeze.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you coming up here in about twenty minutes from
now from these tiraq dot com studios. Apparently, you know,
people have got a real issue with somebody who is
much better this season than I think a lot of
people expected or wanted them to be. So we will

(19:05):
get into that for a little altercation, if you will,
coming up here in about twenty minutes from now here
on FSR. So, I don't know if you guys had
a chance to hear Micah Parson's post game following Dallas
getting absolutely annihilated by the Eagles over the weekend, but
he was asked about Mike McCarthy's, you know, just sort

(19:27):
of job security and whatnot, and had this to say
post game.

Speaker 7 (19:31):
That's what both of my pay grade about if Mike
is coaching again next year. But you know, all coaching
side coaching, you know, Mike can leave and go wherever
he wants. But guys, I, you know, I kind of
feel bad for his guys like Zach Martin and guys
who might be on their last year on our way out,
you know, because that's what I wanted to hold a
trophy for. You know, you want to win games and

(19:51):
do great things with those type of legends who put
in more time and work going Mike McCarthy ever did.
So those are the kind of guys that I have
so much sympathy hurt for it.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
So that did not land well with a lot of
people in the media who thought that was a shot
at Mike McCarthy.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
Do you get the sense that he's got the pulse
of the locker room.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Like he's yes, yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 5 (20:14):
No, no, not Mike and not Micah. I'm saying I'm
saying Mike.

Speaker 4 (20:17):
McCarthy because it feels very, very different than when the
Detroit Lions talk about Dan Campbell. When some of these
of their teams talk about their head coach, I don't.

Speaker 5 (20:28):
Ever see it.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
Quite as much and maybe Mike McCarthy's just more old school,
But it feels like now this generation, this younger generation
of players are looking for that connection with their head coach.

Speaker 5 (20:42):
They're not looking for a divide.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
They want to feel like they're on the same team
and it's not you and us, And that's what it
feels like in Dallas.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
I think both of them have the pulse of the
locker room. I think Micah understands what the players are
saying and what they're feeling, and I think Mike McCarthy
understands what the players are saying and what they're feeling.
I said this. I don't know if I said it
on the show. I know I said it in a
couple of interviews. I feel like the point where this

(21:12):
team has gotten to this year so quickly is because
dan Quinn isn't in that locker room anymore. Because dan
Quinn isn't on that staff anymore. I think that the
idea what you just said, having that belief in me
as a player, that belief in you as a coach,
that relationship dynamic. Dan Quinn brought that connecting factor. Mike

(21:36):
McCarthy didn't have to be that guy that in that
situation because dan Quinn was dan Quinn leaves and Zimmer
comes in. That's not the relationship dynamics that are playing out.
Now there's a disconnect between the decoordinator. So now there's
a disconnect that the disconnect or or that lack of
whatever it was that Mike McCarthy had to have or

(21:59):
didn't need to have when he had dan Quinn is
now showing. It's now showing that that being deficient there
for Mike McCarthy is now showing because he has no coach.
He doesn't have a coach that brings that type of
presence and command like dan Quinn did when he was there.

(22:20):
I think that that's the biggest, the biggest reason why
Dallas is struggling and suffering post dan Quinn.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
That's a great example too, That's a great example. I
mean even take Micah Parsons and Mike Zimmer since he
got there.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
I mean, Jonas, I know you know this. How many
times do you feel like those two are on the
same page.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Oh and it came out in the media.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Yeah, I'm waiting for that to go down in a
moment's notice, Like, uh, although I think I think Mike
Zimmer will probably handle that a little differently than he
did Kirk Cousins, but.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Yeah, it just it or maybe he won't, but he
like my thing.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
Like people took that though his comments about Mike McCarthy
is being disrespectful. I didn't like. I think I understood
what the point he was trying to make in that. Listen,
you know, I'm more concerned about the players. You know, coaches,
you know, come and go, but I'm more focused on
the players. And so because he got all the blowback
from from people to media, obviously at ESPN and you know,

(23:18):
they you know, took shots and everybody was discussing it yesterday,
Micah felt like he had to go to his own show,
The Edge with Micah Parsons and explain his commentary.

Speaker 7 (23:29):
I never once intended to throw Mike McCarthy under the bus.
Like I say, he's one of the most winningest coach.
He is the super Bowl champs. I never once brung
up his past. I'm trying. And the question that was
asked was about here and that's cowboys. Did I see
Mike McCarthy in our future? And I said, that's above
my pay grade. So not once did I ever intended

(23:51):
or wanted to reflect on Mike McCarthy's career because I
alwaysknew it was a good one. I've always had a
great relationship with Mike McCarthy, and I never even put
that in a question.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Coach, you know their careers are way longer.

Speaker 7 (24:03):
You know they can decide to take a better job,
they can move on. You kind of see that a
lot from DC's OC's head coaching positions. Sometimes better job
openings just open up, and you truly never know.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
You never know how the dice is gonna roll with coaches.

Speaker 7 (24:17):
But when you talk about guys, you consistently going to
war with man like guys that I seen. I seen
Tyrant and Zach Bareley can walk after the week, take
a Twitter ofll go out there and play yes one
hundred percent every time. I'm always choose the brother that
we're gonna bleed with, we're gonna work with.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
And that's the disconnect between him and the coaches. That's
he doesn't even realize it, but that's the truth. There's
a disconnect between the coaches and him. And let's be clear,
if you want to be offended by because the only
part that you could ever or could be really offended
by with what he said in his original comments is
that he said Zach Zach Martin has accomplished more than

(24:59):
what Mike McCarry he ever has, or something to that effect. Right,
have you ever looked at Zack's resume and most likely
could be a I mean, with his accolades, he could
actually what up? He actually could ye what up? Hey?
He definitely could be a first ballot guy. He could

(25:23):
be a first and he happens to be out of
Notre Dame.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
Hey.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
But but here's the thing, right, what up South Bend?
He didn't say, he didn't say anything that would like
Mike McCarthy has one super Bowl. Okay, I'm gonna stop
right there, and that's an amazing accomplishment. And listen, he's
a homie, like he's from Pittsburgh. But Mike McCarthy has

(25:46):
one super Bowl. That's a lot more in Dallas. Yeah,
but that's not a lot more than what Zach Martin
has on his on his resume. And and it's different.
It's apples to oranges, right, because one's a coach and
one is a player. But if we're looking at within
the game and what your accomplishments are, if I'm looking
at it, and I'm weighing out and not measuring is

(26:08):
Is Mike McCarthy a Hall of Fame coach? Probably not?
You said, probably not you? Is it a Hall of
Fame coach?

Speaker 5 (26:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
I'd argue with his win percentage, okay, and the fact
that he's got a super Bowl, I think he would
eventually get in. Usually, if you get that super Bowl
and you have a high enough win percentage, you get in.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Here's here's what Here's here's the point. Here's the point.
Neither one of y'all said definitively yes, like you did
when I say, Zach Martin, that's the point. Yeah. But
I don't know that's the point.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
I don't know that this is Micah Parson's talking about
credentials of either guy as being I think.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
That's the only thing you could get offended by.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Though, Like I look at it, I just think that
his point was, Man, you know, like Mike's gonna be okay,
But like I like these guys that.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
I'm playing, they're done, they're not going nowhere, and I.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Think he feels guilty that he hasn't been able to
get them to places that he wanted to see him
get to knowing all the pain and all the struggles.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
And that is the point. But what I'm saying is is, Wow,
he's making his point, and his point should be what
people are focused in on. They're listening, they're looking at
certain parts of what he said, and they're compartmentalizing those
parts of what he's saying.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
Also is Yeah, by the way, I do think he'll
be a Hall of Fame coach.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Okay, Okay, I mean I think he's got a good
I think it's different to the resume.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
I didn't hesitate with Zach Martin because I think he
could be like a first ballot type, true or very
soon because of his resume. Yes, I think Mike McCarthy
w have to wait a bit. But if you fact,
I mean, I guess. I don't really know because I
don't pay attention to the criteria for voting for the
Hall of Fame for coaches.

Speaker 5 (27:50):
But they usually have to win a Super Bowl? Is
that fair?

Speaker 4 (27:53):
And then on top of that, it kind of comes
down to like how many division titles do you win?

Speaker 5 (27:59):
You know, you'd say vige championships.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
That really comes down to how many Super Bowls, which
again he's only been to one one one, so I
don't know. But he's got a win percentage all time
over six hundred, which is pretty darn good man.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
I mean, Mike Shanahan still hasn't gotten in. I mean
like that's you know that it feels.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
I think that's crazy when you think about it, I
think that is crazy.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
I just look my whole forget, forget his resume, like
the impact you've had, he's had with his offense and
all the other coaches that are out there from that system.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Yeah, I just I don't. I don't look at Mike
McCarthy's resume and think that it is upper echelon.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
It is like as part of this though, when people
are looking at you know, Mike McCarthy, Mike McCarthy, Mike McCarthy,
you know, what's his status? Like isn't like some of
this on Jerry Jones. Like when you think it's all
on Jerry Jones.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
The whole thing is a circus.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
And you know, like you've got Ceedee Lamb and him
arguing about you know, the sun popping through the stadium.
You've got Mike McCarthy having to answer questions about his
job all off season, and you know now Michaeh Parson's
words are getting sliced up and mixed and people are
taking it and running with it.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
It just feels like this is par for the course
of the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Like any any other anybody else on another team makes
a comment like this, It's not even that big of
a deal.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Mike, what Jarry Jones has to say about it? You know,
I'm cure because there's why has he got a couple
of interviews like that? What's interesting? I mean, doesn't he
always they saw? You know, there was a video that
surfaced of Micah and sa Quon talking and they were
covering their mouths, you know, while they were talking, you know,

(29:42):
and it's like kind of like, come on, man, you
know why they laughing? You know what it is like
somebody's just so I said it, I texted it or
I put it on my my ig, Like, you don't
know what they keep keying about. I know what it was.
What was it that they gave Washington that work on
Saturday night? They did get Washington at work speaking of

(30:04):
State College. But they're both from the east side of
the state, the eastern side. Both have played and started
their careers in the NFC East. One of them was
not offered the contract that he was looking for after
begging and pleading for the contract, ends up back home

(30:27):
in Philadelphia. You got another one. His contract is coming up,
and this team is all but falling apart, unraveling, busting
at the seams, people that said they don't like Micah
in the locker room. There have been reports that like,
there's the idea that they could possibly trade Michael Parsons,
or there could be some type of I mean, the conversations.

Speaker 5 (30:48):
Of it, Jesus.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
I mean, you don't think that it would be beyond
the realm of possibility that come this off season, Michael
Parsons could find himself going to a different.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
I don't think there's a shot in hell they ever
let him go. I don't know one thing about Dallas.
It does take a while, but they usually pay their guys,
and he's a great player. I don't think there's any
chance he's gonna get a record deal.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
It's probably gonna whether whether realistic or not. If you
don't think that that's what they was talking about, come on,
and I know that would be considered to be would
that be tampering? I don't know if that's tampering, I
don't know. But if you're telling me that that wasn't
the conversation, Like, hey, hey, Micah, you know New York
did want me your contract coming up, just make it

(31:33):
real difficult for them to sign you back, and let's
let's get it done. Let's get on into Philly. Let's
get these Super bowls going like we are, Like you
already know that's what they're talking about. Man, you really
think they can Cowboys and move on from Michael. I
don't think there's a I don't know. Listen. All I
know is I've heard all year long coming into the season,

(31:54):
this is a all in year for the Dallas Cowboys.
And that's been discussed out of Dallas. That came from Dallas.
That's not that was not generated or created by some
outside entity that was Dallas saying this isn't all in year.
So if it's an all in year and you just

(32:15):
gave Dak Prescott all that money, you just gave CD
Lamb all that money, and this team still stinks, what, like,
what does that mean?

Speaker 1 (32:26):
What?

Speaker 2 (32:26):
What's what's the next step? I mean, why don't we
just get Mike on the show, Like I don't know
why we have to get him on the show.

Speaker 5 (32:35):
Job is that Lee's job?

Speaker 2 (32:38):
Is that?

Speaker 5 (32:39):
Who are looking for that? I don't know. I mean
some of.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
I was about to people somebody, Well, I wasn't even
going after Lee. I would I wouldn't. I don't want
to get in trouble. But I was going to say
some of some of the shows actually have you know,
remember book them? Uh? You know, book an interview.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Vegie b LeVar gave Lee Micah's number, and Lee just
calls him up and goes, hey, buddy, what are you doing?

Speaker 5 (33:06):
Hey man? What's going on you?

Speaker 2 (33:09):
Mike? I want to come on our two Buddy.

Speaker 5 (33:13):
I texted Leag last night and go hey buddy. He goes,
hey buddy, Hey buddy. I was looking for something else
from him. I got nothing else. Hey buddy, what dy?

Speaker 2 (33:24):
Man? Well, I'll tell you what. Maybe I'll hit them
on rapid radio. If I'm trying to get a hold

Good morning, everybody, Good morning, Jonas, Good morning, Bredy, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Hey guys.

Speaker 8 (35:33):
In case you missed in that uh, that game between
Colorado and Texas Tech where Shilo Sanders got that scoop
and score for the game touched on, Hey Brady Gordon, uh,
In case you missed the following of that Shiloh Sanders touchdown,
when he was making his way back to the sideline,
Texas Tech ballboy knocked the ball out of his hand.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Get that ball back that.

Speaker 8 (35:52):
It led to an exchange between Shadur and Dion Sanders
Junior getting into the ball boy's face. Well, Deon Sanders
and your did take to social media, posted pictures of
himself and had a little bit of a meme from a.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
Shoot what was that movie?

Speaker 8 (36:08):
But anyway, basically juice from Juice Juice, basically alluding to
the fact that doubling down saying he does not care.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
Oh, by the way, all the people that were critical
of Deon Sanders and the Colorado program m, I don't know, man,
I think it's gone a lot better year two.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Than what a lot of people expected or were hoping for.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
You know.

Speaker 4 (36:30):
What I was just talking with someone about the other
day is is like, why were people so critical when
other people are doing the same thing he's doing.

Speaker 5 (36:38):
Maybe not to the same.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
Extent as far as how they hit the transfer portal
the turn of the roster, but I think it was
about messaging. I think it wasn't like what he's doing.
It's it's what he said initially. It was that I'm
bringing my Louis like that. When he said it, had
it been phrased rewarded differently, would have probably been taken

(37:00):
in a different manner. But that's what made it kind
of polarizing. That's what allowed people to take a stance
one way or another. It was almost similar to when
Lebron left Cleveland when he goes, I'm taking my talents
to South Beach. Had he just said it and worded
it in a different way, people probably would have been
a little bit more understanding. They probably would have hated

(37:20):
the decision regardless, but doing it in Akron, Ohio, sending
that sort of messaging probably wasn't the right way to
do it, and so that tended to create this reaction
from a lot of people out there. I think the
way he said it when he first got there was
part of why so many people were rubbed the wrong way,

(37:41):
because that's your first impression.

Speaker 5 (37:43):
It is like the head coach there.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
But I again, it's worked. I mean, everything he's done
so far from the year before he got there in
year one to now it's worked, has been effective. They
control their own destiny right now to win the Big twelve.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
He wants to put things out there that way, Well,
like you have.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
I was just gonna ask, I mean, because I know
you have a ton of Louis luggage and bags.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Are you the same way? Like when it comes to
like dropping the name of all the I mean when
I went to Maranatha High School to coach, I was
trying to get rid of all of the the luggage
that was there and bring in Louie. Okay. They didn't
like that though, so I ended up my tenure there
wasn't as long as I would have hoped for it
to have been. It didn't work out for me to say,

(38:27):
although I did get a I did get a conference championship.
Hell yeah, I do have. I did leave with a
winning record.

Speaker 5 (38:34):
Do you guys know why Louis became so popular?

Speaker 4 (38:37):
Do you know?

Speaker 5 (38:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (38:39):
So, actually the guy who mented it and started it,
it was a rather simple concept. He just made it
square so you could stack the luggage. That was essentially
the biggest differentiator of that product versus other luggage at
that time that was more rounded. So they started being
able to stack the luggage more, which made it popular,

(39:01):
and he tended to be seen by I believe, one
of the queens.

Speaker 5 (39:05):
Or aristocrats in France.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
And then they slacked the logo on it because there
was some competitors trying to knock it off and create
fakes and so forth, and you know, here we are today.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
Really, I thought it was Prince Hakim from from Zamound
to come into America that made it popular. But not
check your story, not quote. Yeah, I'm more of a
nomadic guy myself.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
But again, I mean, joints is hard brouh. They last
forever too, man. I beat the crap out of my
nomadic and it still holds together.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
I don't I don't check in bags. I'm able to
not check in bags because of the way I'm able
to use mine. Nomadics were very popular.

Speaker 5 (39:41):
I have so much stuff in my.

Speaker 4 (39:43):
Bag, like they have to check it when it goes
through Xway because I'm like, is there something in there
I should take out?

Speaker 5 (39:48):
They're like, no, there's just a lot of stuff in there.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
I was like, well, yeah, I can fiddle that one
backpack that doesn't have any guts or no shape or
form to it. I use that bad boy all the time. Man,
it's the best. Yeah. I put a lot of good
stuff in mind when you had they took yours. Yeah,
my whole life of my nomadic. Bomb one and two
took your nomadic. They don't even not even John Doe

(40:19):
two bums in the box. They call that thing one
thing to
