at a set just like we did last year in

(02:08):
on like.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Can't get right. Bad news bears.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
We're sitting in cubicle chairs right now at Radio Row,
and we look like mister Wilson from Home Improvement peeking
over the dead.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Mister Willison.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
That used to say, was it that the neighbor and
Dennis the Menace? I don't Rememberster Willson?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Whoever, whoever Home Improvements neighbor was? That's who we are, right.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
He was also Wilson, Yeah? Was he? And the football? Yeah?
I knew it. What about you remember homis to get
on his nerves, man, wasn't it Wilson Home Improvement? Yeah?
And Tom Hanks his ball, his his companion.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
I remember going to one of those shows and stepping
into a journal and looking over at seeing Wilson's full face. Yeah,
Wilson was he like Madonna?

Speaker 2 (03:05):
His first and second name was Wilson. But here's the
best part.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Some people should be put in jail as parents, man,
because they had kids.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I'm just being on the dad went through a life
like that, and then he named his son that because
he said.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
You know what it's like, It's like Ragnar right, like
or son Vikings.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
You know who I am? Rich Son? Who are you to.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Tell you something?

Speaker 2 (03:30):
You know?

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Fireman ed bitching and moaning the fact that he got
he does have the same access at jets games. Ragnar
got kicked to the curb by the Vikings. You never
heard a peep out of that.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Never heard that man did.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
All right, So all right we're off and running, folks.
So anybody got out interesting travel stories? Is we're sinking down?

Speaker 4 (04:00):
I got oh, I got it. I got one for you.
I could save it for ir to be honest, it's
it's it might be the worst one so far, it
might be the worst.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
What does that mean? And it was what was it? American?
It was a flu American? A flu American.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
They they they delayed my flight so bad that they
knew I was going to miss the only flight that
was flying into Champagne out of out of hair. So
I was gonna have to do a three hour flight,
excuse me, a three hour drive from Chicago hair to Champagne.

(04:39):
So I talked to the gate agent, or I talked
to the agent and customer service. I'm like, please don't
let my luggage get booked to to Champagne. I would
take a car to Champagne because you guys are going
to make me miss my connecting flight, No worries DNA,
Dad's taking I'm like, and then and then she holds

(05:03):
my claim check like she.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Threw it away.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
I was like, no, you fish that bad boy out
and give it back to me because I know where
this is going too, Like I just my spider senses
is going off. Give me my claims checked out of
I get to Chicago, bag doesn't come out. I go
to the baggage service customers service deal. They say forty

(05:27):
five minutes and it's going to come out on belt six. Okay,
I go sit down. I'm sitting next to a homeless
dude because it's cold outside. So they start to come in.
They circulate into the baggage claim area and they just
be sitting there, like counting them and saying riddles and
stuff with their fingers. So I'm sitting next to this dude, right,

(05:48):
and You're like, well, why would you be sitting next
to him? Because I got tired of standing up and
that was the only seat that was available. So I
sit down and I'm sitting there. I found myself going
with him, like I started doing it with him. I
get to to minute forty forty eight and I'm doing
it witting like wait, wait, what am I doing?

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Right? So I gotta snap out of it.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
And then I finally I go back up to the
desk and I was like, you know, it's been an hour,
Like I'm waiting for my bag to come out. I
did not have the connector, so my bag was with me.
How do you not find my bag? Within I gave
you forty minutes, Like, how you not find my bag?

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Sir?

Speaker 4 (06:27):
It's okay, da da dad. They said they're locating it.
They said it was da da da. It's okay, it'll
be up in the next few minutes. So I go back.
I sit over there. I get to hour thirty five minute,
hour and thirty five minutes. I'm watching the clock. I'm like,
something isn't right. Give it another thirty minutes. I'm an

(06:51):
hour two. I'm waiting in baggage claim. Two hours. I
go up to the place. They've changed shifts. The person
I was dealing with has left for work. This is
how long I'm waiting, right, She was saying, By the way,
that was a tactic. Yep, that was a get out
of my face shirt.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
No, she just knew. Eventually, She's like, I'm out.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
I ain't got to deal with him, right, So I
get there, and that's funny because the agent that was
I was talking to you after that said the same thing,
like I wasn't here to take your you know, cause
I'm like if you she says to me, you can't
get your bag. It's closed for tonight because it keep
in mind, now it's like ten o'clock.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
It's like ten o'clock now, Like I got there at
like eight, it's like ten now at night.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
I said, well, you're telling me that my bag got
shipped to go to New Orleans on Sunday and I'm
here right now on Friday. Yeah, what like does that
even make sense to you? What are you saying to
me right now? And I was like, let me tell
you something. I got some really valuable stuff in my
in my bag. I feel like something's fitchy here. I'm

(08:00):
not moving. They're like they're like, shirt, oh, you know,
I started going to my lego. If I come, if
I come across as I rate, you know, they're gonna
arrest me.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Hostile, hostile.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
If I come across hostile, they're gonna arrest me.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
They're gonna arrest me.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Well, what is your lingo, and it doesn't sound anything.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Like I feel victimized here. And I gotta tell.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
You, I have some very very very valuable belongings in
my luggage, and I just do not feel right about
the situation here.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
You've been giving me the run around.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
I have a very nice selection of sneakers in my
in my bag, I have some jewelry that's in my
my luggage, and I feel like you guys have robbed me.
I am not moving until you bring me my luggage.
I want to speak to your supervisor. She goes, Sir,
I am the supervisor. I want to speak to the supervisor. Supervisor, please,

(08:54):
I am. She's like, can you move over here? Because
there's other people?

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Right?

Speaker 4 (08:57):
So now the other people I'm inplayed. The other people
have started to support me, right. They're like, they're like,
where's his luggage? Where is his luggage? I'm like, I'm
not moving. Hell no, all right, won't go there right
there with me?

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Right? So they're like, sir, you cannot get your luggage.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
It's closed for tonight and it's at a whole another
pair for you know, luggage delivery or whatever.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
I'm like, I will not move from.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
This place until you get my luggage, and thirty more
minutes later they finally bring my luggage. I got my luggage.
I ended up getting into champagne like I don't know,
like four in the morning. Yeah, messed up my whole jam,
like like I had to get up for a rehearsal

(09:47):
breakfast whatever.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
DA died.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
Messed up my whole and it's led into this, like
I'm tired now based off of American screwing.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Me over on Friday. There you go, you were props
to man, you get so mad.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
You might be exhaust and you're tired and you want
to go to sleep, but you're still ticked off about
this chance you're gonna get fall asleep.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
No, I didn't sleep well at all that night because
I felt like I was taking I was taking such
advantage of like you wait, what do you think two hours?

Speaker 2 (10:16):
What do you think they're doing back there with your luggage?
Because I have an idea, Oh what if they were
like they opened it up? Yep, They're like they're taking
pictures with your shoes. Yeah, all these different with all
the sneakers. Maybe the change. I don't know if you
have the change. No, I did Did you ever think
about that? Though, I mean, why did you got some
weird weird.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Felt like I'm telling you, I felt like something was fishy, man,
because they kept giving me. They kept giving me different
reasoning behind why they didn't my bag wasn't coming up,
but they told me my bag was coming up. One
of the reasons. Why, Oh, they're going underground to go
get it. They're going to underground to go get it.
I'm like, okay, I don't care where you're going to
go get it, Just go get my bag. I don't

(10:57):
understand how I can get my body off of this
plane and get the baggage claim. But y'all had moments
after the belt is done complete. I come to you
within five minutes of the completion of the luggage getting
on the belt, and you can't find my bag, Like
I don't American. I don't want to say all airlines,

(11:19):
because there's a lot going on with airlines right now.
Holy smokes, got God blessing prayers to the people on
that flight going into DC. But God, dang American, Like,
do better, do better with your customer service, do better
with your rebookings, just do better. Man Like people people
pay good money. I told the lady, I pay you

(11:39):
top dollar. I'm part of like the whole Medallion and
all that stuff. I travel so much, I'm part of
a different different deals. I pay you all this money,
I pay you all this money. I get a I
pay you a top dollar for a top dollar experience,
and you're giving me a discount, not even a discount.
You give me a poor a poor product, poor experience.

(12:01):
Like how you do that? How you do that?

Speaker 3 (12:03):
If American right now was like they saw that Shain
and they're like, we're gonna give you a bedazzled American
Airlines like emblem, it would spin into.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
I don't want dazzled. I don't want to be dazzled one,
you know, like diamonds and stuff. If it was if
it was dope, if it was dope dope and it
was like worth like to make up for it.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah where I'm not being serious.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
But American, see I could I could switch it up
and just be like because I'm an all American, I
believe I'm an American man, I'm an American.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Man, I'm an American mate. So you know I would rocket.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
That could be a sponsorship. I would rocket. Well, I
don't know that I want American to sponsor money. So yeah,
well clearly they don't have good service either, you know.
And so there you go. There's my American tale I
got educated.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
I was telling LeVar this before the show on the
French Quarter on the way over the.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Oh, it's so good. It's straight, it's so good. Straight,
it's so good. And tell us, like, what was the
literory lesson?

Speaker 4 (13:02):
And which, by the way, the person that was driving you,
he like, let's just set the stage by the context
of the story that you told.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
It was one of my brother and that was driving
you over here, correctly describe himself as one of your.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Brother He was one of my sore everybody out there
he was. He was a black man, one of my brothers.
So let's let's let's set the stage properly.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
He was a very nice gentleman. There you go, all right,
here we go.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
You know, I popped in the car. How you doing today, Sari?
He said, I'm doing great. I said, are you are
you starting your day or ending your day? Because I'm
starting here my second ride. Actually I really He's like,
that's that's interesting because I was probably probably got in
there around four ten for you know, four fifteen. Uh
so kind of started to take off and just makeing
some small talk with him, and at some point like

(13:48):
where exactly are we He's like, oh, you know, we're
in the French Quarter. I was like, well, could you
tell me about the French Quarter? Like you know, he goes, whoa,
you know it's about to be profound. Yeah, there we go.
You know it was built by the French, breaking four
and I said, and.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
He kind of gives it a.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
Beat and he goes, it's old, right, he goes, and uh,
you know it was probably built by the French, but
some of my brethren.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
My brother and some of my people, some of my
some of my ancestors had to help build.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
All right, is that right? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (14:31):
And you know if you if you would have learned
about it, there's the dude tours. You probably stick a tour.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
I said, all right, well and all right, was done.
That's five star rating. He hold on happy Now. That
was the one thing he said.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
So like we pulled up literally as he's ending his
dissertation on the French Quarter and.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
He goes, man, I'm gonna give you five stars. I
really appreciate if you gave me five stars.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
And I was like, for that story, about the French
all got So that was my So if anyone's curious,
the French Quarter was built by the French Man and
this gentleman's.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
Brother, Bam. It was a team effort, it really was.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
I mean it takes teamwork to make the dream work,
is what it really comes down to. And you know what,
whoever you are out there, if you're listening, because you're
probably driving somebody else around telling them about the French
Quarter being built out the French God bless man like,
and you know what you're doing the Lord's work.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
I thought it was amazing. Good for you.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
He did have some gospel music on, so we were
we were, we were rocking out some gospel music.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Buy what what is your guys's uber rating? Because somehow
I've got a I'm a four nine to three yep?
How about not a five? Yeah? Did I throw up
in somebody's car and at a buddy bridge?

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Buddy? Have we not talked about this before?

Speaker 3 (15:54):
So my wife complained one time and I'm like a
four point eight two. I've not been able to get
above like a four nine forever because of that.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
All because my wife did it was bad.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
They want to play that game huh okay, Well, I'm
just saying that I don't I don't even care. I
told her afterwards, ago, you're gonna hurt my rating for
how you just said.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
I was I paid for not you.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
It's like it's perfect pass guy drops it.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Yeah, she's got a four nine eight, she's got like
a perfect Look.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Hey, why should your completion percent?

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Got it?

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Fact?

Speaker 4 (16:27):
You gotta work. I don't give a damn what my
rating is. I've never looked one time to see what
my rating is. Not one time I could care that
you gotta you gotta work. I hire an uber. You
gotta work, damn, Like, come get come get me. There's
going to be somebody in that Uber network that's going
to come get me.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Oh man, there we go. I've never even paid. I
didn't even realize you had an uber rating.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Yeah, you just go on your your profile to tell you.
I wasn't a four eight seven. So I'm at a
four nine three now, so I'm starting.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
To keep up. I play with me. I'm gonna be
a one eighth about that.

Speaker 6 (17:01):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (17:03):

No reason to Chad to May No, No, any reason
to Chada Mane.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
By the way, plea, this is the Alcoholics star Spangled banner.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Oh yeah, how about this?

Speaker 3 (17:57):
So last week All Yeah or else got sick in
the middle of the night shows up on E Puking Tuesday.
Again we thought no, no, no, sir, eldest. So we thought
we were in the clear, but another one. My wife's
text me right now? Are our second or seven? That
up on ey puking?

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Man? Of course I leave them.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Just that's going on right now?

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Oh yeah, somehow I'm taking the brunt of this. What
do you want me to do? While?

Speaker 4 (18:25):
While I will say while I will say that that,
while I will say that that whole deal with kids
getting sick, at least you're not going to get sick.
You think that I can't hear myself with my ear. Jesus,
I can't hear myself. Does that ain't better?

Speaker 2 (18:45):
No? I don't. It went down while I was talking.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
I turned one, two, three, four, five, six, seven eight. Guys,
all right, maybe it's a little bit better. I turn
my head this healthy, you know what? There we go
right there. Whatever happened just now, don't do anything else.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
For engineer braking. So I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
I'm gonna keep getting it over right right here here
we go. All right, It is U.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Is two pros and a cup of Joe here on
Fox Sports Radio, and coming up, we are going to
tell you how somebody got in trouble. Somebody got in
big trouble. Apparently that'll be yours here. We'll call it
about twenty minutes from now Here on FSRS. We're live
from Radio row here for Super Bowl week in New Orleans.
But the biggest story in the world of sports is
what the f with the Dallas Mavericks thinking trading Luka

(19:40):
Doncic over the weekend. I don't get it. I don't understand.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
Now, you know that's a big story because well we're
talking about it.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
That's super weak.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
So they pulled a fast Okay, hold on, real quick
pause there for a second, though, is is the NFL
fan base or just people in general a little bit
tired of the Kansas City Chiefs the same repetitive story
slash a matchup that we saw a couple of years ago.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
It might be there might be Kansas City fatigue.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
But you know, if that's what it is, then that's
like crazy over entitlement because you're why would you not
want to be a part of history. Like there's certain
things like you saw somebody do something. You saw Bruce Jenner,
you know, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, you know, yes,

(20:35):
formerly known do some crazy things in the Olympics, or
you know, you saw Michael Jordan he transitioned to another life.
You know, he's no longer with us. I mean I
think that I think that's accurate, and he can't change back, right,

(20:57):
you know, I just don't know that I'll respond to it.
I don't know, But what I will say is, you
see historical feats take place. Why in the moment do
we not enjoy and reverence the idea that old Tom
Brady's having a career year and could possibly get another

(21:18):
Super Bowl that makes him the most winning his quarterback
of Super Bowls, Or you know, this guy had this
many yards in a game or passing yard, whatever it is.
There probably is fatigue for Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs team.
But people, it's history and it's it's really something that's

(21:38):
that's sensible to think it's plausible to think that they
could win this game and be the only team to win.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
It three times.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
I mean, Patrick Mahomes is a Dallas Mavericks fan.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
For he is, so he beside himself with trade. I
just wow.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
So here's here's the part that I struggle with, because, look,
Anthony Davis gonna be a Hall of Famer, great player.
He's not twenty five in his prime and one of
the best talents on the planet, one of the best
players on the planet.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
He's thirty one and by the way, he's never played
a full season.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Yeah and so, so something doesn't smell right. Something just
seems off, because why would you not if you were
intending on trading Luca, why would you not at least
shop around to see if you could get a better deal.
I mean, the Miami Heater trying to unload Jimmy Butler,
Dearreon Hupping Fox just got traded, but he was on
the market, Like why not shop around see what you

(22:31):
can get? And if not that, why not get the
other first round pick from the Lakers? Like you could
have gotten that too. So either then, this is the
only thing I've come up with. Either the Dallas Mavericks
know something we don't.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Know about Luca.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
About Luca, he's damaged goods, there's a problem, there's something
else coming up that we're not familiar with until or
the people that made the call there are just idiots
like I because I can't figure out.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
I mean, does one have to be folks for the
other to be true?

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Can I play out my my conspiracy theory?

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Can we get this? Can we get this? Can we
get Robert Stack? Can get right now? With the smoke
billowing out in the alley.

Speaker 7 (23:17):
Let's get it a story about three men doing a
radio show which on the air at this point and
the only one sitting on milk crate at this point.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
How many more years does lebron have? One? Two to three,
two to three games? Two to three? You really do think, oh, oh,
not games?

Speaker 1 (23:40):
How many how many more.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Do you think he has? I think that this would
be it two this minutes if.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
They win an NBA finals And and here's the reality is,
I think the fifth right now in the West, they're
leading the Pacific Division, and he's already he already got
his son on the team.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
He's gone through that. It's a great call.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
I think this is all in a move by the NBA,
the powers that be, to allow one of the greatest
of all time to leave, to sail off into the sunset.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
In a way that he that he would appreciate too.
It's a great pool, I mean, because here's the one thing.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
I'll say is if you look at how much closer
they should be with the addition of Luca, who's done
nothing but elevate the Dallas Mavericks since he got there
one Rookie of the year, then they started going to
the playoffs. I think they've missed it once maybe in
the past five years. Last obviously lost the finals. This
to me allows a guy who had his age. Even
though Lebron's playing at a high level most nights, it

(24:45):
allows him to not have to put in the minutes
and have that wingman who can legitimately put it to
put a team on his back and go win a championship.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
He almost did that in Dallas.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
I mean defensively, they're going to be a sieve because
he doesn't he doesn't stop in it. He's not interested.
He just say.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
Well, that's what they tried to use as as their
reasoning for letting them go is they just got to
the point where they were unhappy condition and all that
stuff and and listen, if conditioning we're good on on
stack now we we because I will say the conspiracy
theory is solid.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
That's super solid. I like like what you came up.
Ratings are down, just they need some music. Definitely can go.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
And by the way, anybody it could definitely go.

Speaker 7 (25:33):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Anybody that thinks that that him being in l A
isn't better than him being in Dallas, you're just not
paying attention. So yeah, that would play into that that
it's a better and also it's the transition for the
Lakers after Laburn. If he walks away, now they've got
their next you go.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
I don't understand THO were talked about the Dallas standpoint,
which doesn't make any sense if you're Mark Cuban.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
And I think Mark Cuban's a smart guy.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
He's obviously very outspoken in a lot of different ways,
and some people might question some of what he says,
but the truth is he's a smart guy. I don't
know how You're the owner of the Dallas Mavericks and
this is this is what you turned a twenty five
year old Luka Doncic who's in the prime of his
career into Anthony Davis, Max Christi and a twenty twenty

(26:24):
nine Lakers first round pick. Now, mind you, the Nets
traded Kevin Durant, and this is what that trade netted
them at this current point in time, Cam Johnson, nice
Zire Williams, a twenty twenty three Phoenix first round pick,
a twenty twenty five Phoenix first round pick, a twenty
twenty five New York Knicks first round pick, a twenty

(26:45):
twenty five Milwaukee first round pick, a twenty twenty seven
Phoenix first round pick, a twenty twenty seven New York
Knicks first round pick, twenty twenty eight Phoenix first round swap,
twenty twenty eight New York Knicks first round swap, a
twenty twenty nine Phoenix first round pick, a twenty twenty
nine Knicks first round pick, a twenty thirty one New
York Knicks first round pick, a twenty twenty five Brooklyn

(27:06):
Nets second round pick, a twenty twenty eight Milwaukee second
round pick, a twenty nine Milwaukee second round pick, and
a twenty thirty Dallas second round pick.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
I think you even keep up with all that, dang.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
So that's what the Nets were able to ultimately roll
the Durant trade into. And this is where we sit
there with like, I don't know how Dallas is gonna
make this trade any better with what they brought on
at this.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
And also like the idea of shopping them around, like well,
you know, maybe they wanted to do it in the
shadows and not.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
And that's what and that's really what and they talked
about that, right and that's.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Okay, But like, are you worried about in this day
and age, people finding out about stuff or are you
or are you worried about? Hey, what what can we
get that's going to be the best deal in return?
Like everybody knows Jimmy Butler's on the trade block, everybody
knew Dearon Fox is on the trade block. But still
you're going to get better offers that are out there.
Teams are gonna come to the table and go, oh,

(27:59):
you're thinking about trading. Let's have a conversation.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
Let's be clear here, though, If Anthony Davis is healthy
and on the court, he is literally top three players
in the league. I'll get healthy top three player, what
top three top three players in the league and his
versatility and what he brings to the table. If they

(28:22):
feel like Dallas is that close and they don't necessarily
maybe based upon Kyrie's ability to facilitate in the offense,
the shooting and the scoring that they have in some
other you know, positions on the court, that that download presence,
that swingman presence of having Anthony Davis and how he

(28:45):
plays versus the style of Luca, if they feel as
though that that's less of a liability based upon some
of the things that they've said about Luca, they could
push themselves over the top.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
With Anthony Davis being on that team.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
There's there's just got to be something else going on.

Speaker 4 (29:05):
I mean, listen, man, I like, I like huge reasoning,
but let's not act as though Anthony Davis isn't of
the caliber of player where Jason Kidd doesn't get an
opportunity for his team Kyrieyrie and and Anthony Davis.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Yeah, he didn't even know. He didn't even know. He
coached them though, the bubble boy when they wanted they want.
He knows his game.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
I would just say that, which is odd though, why
you would then keep Jason Kid in the dark. You
would think that a guy that he's coached, a guy
that he knows how he could fit with in his system,
and obviously his injury history too, that you would bring
him in on this.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
Decision, which Jason looked like Mike Tyson. When Robin Gibbons
was on that interview talk that j k was sitting there,
He'll talk about Jason didn't even know.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
They didn't even know what we were doing. Jason, you
off your.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Up in meds uh.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
By the way, I'm just glad that the NBA could
I'm not could pull off a deal like this without
Lebron James knowing. I mean, he was just having a
nice family. Dounner had no idea this was gonna happen.
Real Stunner, that seems yeah, that's just seems about right.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
It just like the whole thing that's the problem is
that you you don't know who to believe in that
league because so many people are full of crap. And listen,
there's people full of crap all the time. But the
idea that the organization drafted his son when nobody was
going to draft his they.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Hired JJ Riddick as the head coach.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
It's but this one, I was haf to Dinner New York.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
What happened? Okay, dude, Like I mean, and we haven't
said this yet.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
It does make the Lakers look like they're brilliant, though,
I mean, you got to throw it that in there,
that The Lake Show brings Luca Dante to their to
their organizations. I mean, and it's also no, I mean,
that is epic.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
It's not the first time that there's been a deal
involving the Lakers in which you looked at and.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
Go, wow, they really won that deal Kareem Kareem is
that's like, yeah, but this is on Kareem level.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Laker fans will bitch and moan about Chris Paul all
they want, Like you've now got three trades that are
so lopsided. Nobody people thought Sean Sharani had got hacked.
They thought, okay, somebody got I saw it.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
I saw it while I was in the airport and
almost basically like spit my my coffee out.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
It was a long island.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
I was just gonna say though, it was a long.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 4 (31:42):
I spit up what like is this like what like
that's to go on my phone? Looking at my phone
like like is this real? I didn't think it was real.
I thought it was I thought it was a scam
or or like a spoof or something.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
It's not April on the point though, of Lebron not
knowing who's uh, how you found.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Whatever? Who's your repie Clutch Sports? Oh, I didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
Is Sham's Report Sports.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
So I didn't know that. Wow, that's good. And then
and then obviously that's Lebron's agency. Yeah you know, yeah,
it's it's people.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
Okay, So it's like it's not like this was a
secret to Lebron Jameson's family.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
He knew what was happening by the same.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
And I know the one thing that the Dallas made
sure to do was almost fat shame.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
Uh luke.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
It's interesting about fat shaming age. You don't have to
be fat shame. You can take your fat into your
own hands and get rid of it. You know how
you do it by taking that step down the lane.

Blue Oyster they.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
Had the assless chaps on. Have you had a hurricane yet?

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Have not had a hurricane yet?

Speaker 4 (34:54):
You?

Speaker 2 (34:54):
I haven't had one yet either. Have you had a
hand gerdad yet? No? What's have you walk on straight?

Speaker 1 (35:00):
Right?

Speaker 2 (35:00):
Yeah? We gotta do that today, do it? Gotta do that.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
I just want to see a picture of Lee with
a hand grenade walking around.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
That's all I want to see. Yeah, we gotta do
that one. Oh, I can't wait. Something for the bucket list.
Here we go. I'll put it this way.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
If you guys are getting out, today's the day at
some point because it'll be calming up. I think on
a Monday where I would be willing to go back
in that area.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
I'll walk right, I'll walk there right now.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
Let's go of course that. Yeah, we's just do it
on the field. Tap yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Oh yeah, it's an awesome brass band. Last night at
Howland Wolf, it was an awesome time.

Speaker 6 (35:35):
Man.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Nice Yeah, uh Lee is jacked up. I told you,
I just I just realized it just now.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
I told you your.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
Eyes are glass right now. Bro, he didn't sleep much,
But I'll.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
Say that I think it's I think it's way more
acceptable being here in New Orleans. So you know what
we're going to embrace you for this week, Lee, enjoy it,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (35:59):
And okay, yeah, you have a place to sleep the
next few nights.

Speaker 4 (36:03):
And it could be anywhere, you know, because well that's
how it works. Sometimes in New Orleans. You might decide
to lay down on the curve. We talked about it.
You could smell how it smells when you're walking over here.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
Like by the way, Brady was right, curves are pretty
high here, really hard to watch your feet, to watch
your feet.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
In case you missed it, jon has had an experience
doing the you fall doing the tour of getting the
coffee this morning.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
You stepped off.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
I don't even want to I had a buddy this
shoulder fall off.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
No, no, no, I Jonah's met a visitor earlier this
morning while being sold a package to be a VP.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Get that great? I don't think that great experience.

Speaker 4 (36:47):
You know, just the hotel of a pet, you know,
a little little just scurrying around to get you know, Nicodemus.
You know, Nicodemus is looking for some stuff and then
you want some cream for that coffee.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
I mean, I'm almost positive I saw a rat. I'm
almost and that thing, that thing was running around like
looking for a fork a knife.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
And I have a very very distinct way of how
they scurry, don't they. You don't have to really see
it to know that that's what it was, because your
memory fouls it away that that's how they move, That's
that's exactly how they do. And you thought that's what
you saw, that is what you saw?

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Yes, it was, Yeah, Lee, what do we gott read it?

Speaker 2 (37:30):
Two guys?

Speaker 7 (37:31):
In case you missed this, Angel Reese has made history
the Unrivaled League, the three on three women's basketball competition.

Speaker 8 (37:37):
She's the first, now all of us that we want
to talk about, the competitor to be ejected after two
technicals and waving at a player and complaining with the refs.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
Yeah, first player ejected from the Unrivaled.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
Have you guys watched any of this? I've actually seen
some clips and highlights.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
It actually has exposed sometimes the level of.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Play oh wow, like and especially being played.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
Up against the NBA season, You're just like, my god,
it's hard to watch.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
Why?

Speaker 1 (38:07):
Why? Whose idea was this?

Speaker 2 (38:09):
I think more of it? And what Jason?

Speaker 1 (38:14):
That would be like Adam Silver saying, you know what,
we're gonna go to one hundred games. Okay, let's see
we need more.

Speaker 4 (38:20):
Jayson Whitlock said that the Luca and and Anthony Davids
trade is only feeding the idea that women's basketball.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
I know I've heard you.

Speaker 4 (38:31):
I think I've heard you say too, it's going to
become more popular than the NBA.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
No, no, no, how about I ever said that? Top
it Witlock?

Speaker 4 (38:41):
Throw that takeaway, please, grumble it up, fall it up,
and throw that one into recycling bin. It is not
going to I'm sorry, listen, it's not going to happen, Jason.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
Sorry, Okay, what else we got?

Speaker 8 (39:06):
Well, guys, in case you missed it, Bill Belichick getting
the players, well, the frats, the frats on his side
pizza and sent pizza to all the frats for the US.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
So brilliant.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
Good job.

Speaker 4 (39:17):
Bill, walk out of them frat houses with his taco
meet out, and you know what, they're going to be
right there with him, the Belichickians, they're.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
Going to walk.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
That's how you get the whole entire student body with Yeah,
