Speaker 4 (01:50):
You sound arrested, a lot of conversation, mother lover. I
need a day too, take it. I'm about to leave.
I'm tired to you. What do I get jud when
I got stuff going on time? Yeah, that's the reality
of it. Sorry, I have other things in my life, guys.
My apologies, well that I don't like that.
Speaker 5 (02:08):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
I don't like I don't like it at all. Well,
three hours with Jonas and Lee all by myself is this?
Speaker 5 (02:16):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (02:16):
Which can I get caught up on whatever the hell
happened yesterday?
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Because it sounded like Lee had quite the day. Oh
did he did he? What were we talking about yesterday?
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (02:28):
The debut of Walt.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
Yeah, Walt, Yeah, yeah, Walt made a debut yesterday. We
we finally had a breakthrough on understanding Lee much better.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yeah, LeVar.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
LeVar says that Lee's alter ego is actually a homeless man.
That's correct, and and I gave him the name Walt, Yeah,
And that he's the reason for the theft.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
There was another theft. He had a tent.
Speaker 4 (02:57):
He had a tent stolen, but didn't have the holes taken.
They just took the tart out of a secured area
where he m But he also took a sleep some
sleep time in the studio on the floor, apparently with
(03:20):
his whole ass out and plumber style, and denied it
like at one point, like early on he was like,
how did you know that? And then later on he
was like, wait, what are you talking about? Like I
didn't do anything. I didn't do any of those things.
So I started to realize Lee's not a liar. Lee
(03:41):
just had somebody differently speaking on his behalf at different
times of him communicating. And thus where Jonas came up
with Walt. Walt, Walt is his other personality. Walt is
the one that gets them drunk. Walt is the one
that ran off of That's why he doesn't remember stuff
(04:04):
because when he was like when he ran off of
the curb and ran into the street, it was that fell.
It was Walt that fell. And that's why Jonas's story
was different than Lee's story because Lee wasn't there. It
was Walt that fell off the sidewalk. So that's now
(04:27):
I feel more confident because I can now ask him,
am I talking to Walt or am I talking to Lee?
And that will dictate and determine what type of answers
that that I get from him. What type of information
is I think I think he deals with that in
his personal like his deal like with his with his chick.
(04:48):
I think that could be the problem is she has
serious beef with Walt. She likes Lee, but Walt she
can't stand. And I think that that's where they get
into their you know, you know their situations. So yeah,
that's what happened yesterday, big day on the show. It
(05:11):
was a big breakthrough, it really was.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
You know.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
So now there's another addition, like the whole Tyler Dirton thing,
like you know, you got Todd and you got Walt,
which I can't imagine what that's like Walt and Todd out.
I just yeah, I don't know. And maybe Lorena has
seen that because I think Loraina has another personality too.
(05:36):
Loraina be sleeping on on the floor too, like and
that's a different person than the Loraina And I'm a.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Blow up mattress. Bro I do not sleep on the floor.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
I mean, same difference.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Down there on that floor.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
That that that that air Mattress ain't removing you that
far from weheardom them roaches.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
You don't think those roaches could get up on that matter, I.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
Mean they could, they could get up to the top
floor of a thirty story building.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
They've they've crawled on the desk in the other studio before.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
You don't think they can be They've dropped out of
the ceiling before. This isn't Mount Everest like it's a
blow up mattress. I mean, you're very close to them
down there on that blow up Mattress, So I say,
but thus her response, letting you know that there is
another Lorena in there. We just don't know what her
name is. Yeah, get to the bottom. Maybe it's Radio Mouth.
I don't know that's your other personality Radio.
Speaker 6 (06:27):
Well, speaking of having their you know, their asks out. Yeah,
if you really think about some of the reporting around
the Tom Brady matt Stafford, they'll get together.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Who's is out? Well, I'm just saying it feels like the.
Speaker 6 (06:41):
Agent for Tom Brady responded to what was reported, as
well as some others that maybe some of the reporters
had in this particular case.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
I love this time of year for this stuff alone,
and that story has taken a turn.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
So let's just go aha and break this, break it down,
all right.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
So there was a report from Jordan Schultz, a Fox
who said that Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford recently got
together in Montana and that Tom Brady hosted him at
his home. There, they spent time together, they went skiing.
Brady has been trying to convince him to join the Raiders,
(07:23):
with discussions ongoing. Ian Rappaport of the NFL Network called
it an unplanned meeting and that they sort of ran
into each other and they're hosting or.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
Recruiting at his home. Yeah, just sort of just you know, totally,
that just happened. Matthew Stafford just happened to be rolling
through Montana. Yeah, got to Tom Brady's home.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Yeah. Random, And so I have that happen a lot.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
I just I just randomly, like ran in the ques
crib the other day, you know, just stop by, say hey.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Did the kid you're in the neighborhood. It makes all
the sense in the world.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Jordan Jordan Schultz followed up with this on Twitter and said,
if you really think or excuse me x. He followed
up on x and said, if you really think Tom
Brady and Matthew Stafford just happened to run into each
other at a ski resort in Montana, of all places,
at the exact same time, I've got a bridge to
sell you.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
They were together over the weekend. It happened.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Multiple teams are interested in Stafford, and Brady has been
leading the charge to get him to the Raiders if
the Rams.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Decide to trade him.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
So there was another corresponding report from Tom Pellasero, who
reported that he spoke with Don Yee, Brady's agent, and
Yee said the following, I know that reporters sometimes make
mistakes in their haste, but this story's inaccurate. Ian Rappaport too, Well, yeah,
(08:45):
I mean, of course he's not actually free. And so
Ian Rapaport followed up and just said, you know, Tom
Brady and Matthew Stafford, like most celebrities also have homes
in Montana, etc. Kind of a snarky response. Well, apparently,
Jordan Schultz.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Most celebrities have homes in Montana.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Jordan Schultz was not was not thrilled with what had happened,
and at a Starbucks at the J W. Marriott in Indianapolis,
Schultz accosted Rapaport, what.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Does that mean? To what degree does that that mean?
Speaker 6 (09:23):
Which, by the way, I mean, if you've ever seen
me in a rapp a boy, he's not a little guy.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
He's little.
Speaker 6 (09:29):
One of the first times I ever saw Ian it
was at the Combine. He was crouched down, like hunched
down into a ball behind one of the stages and
on the phone was someone. It was just a very
awkward thing to see because I was.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
Like, what it looks like it is he hiding from someone?
Like what is he doing?
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Was his phone plugged in? He had a short charger,
and you can know.
Speaker 6 (09:56):
He was just he was just chose to kind of
sit down like that, crouched down behind the stage is
years ago, and I thought to myself, like he always
seems small. He looked really small at that moment, dude.
And Jordan is the biggest d but he's much bigger
than I. And so I could imagine this conversation going
on between the two. And obviously, if anyone's been in
(10:19):
Indianapolis for the combine, they've probably been by the J. W.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Marriott.
Speaker 6 (10:23):
I've stayed there a number of times for different events
and things. I'm just picturing this this altercation. How did
they describe the interaction?
Speaker 1 (10:31):
And he accosted him, accosted him. So this according to
Mike Florio, Uh, you know who did a deep dive
on all this stuff. Rapaport was talking to an agent
Jordan Schultz approached him and said, we need to talk.
Rapaport replied, we're told, quote, we don't need to talk.
Schultz then made accusations about rap report. Rap report We're
(10:53):
told regards the accusations as unfounded. The two men were
essentially face to face, According to this report from Florio, Jordan,
Schultz said, if you have anything to say it to me,
say it to my effing face. If this continues, we're
going to have an effing problem. Rap report asked Schultz
to step back. Schultz responded, if this happens again, we're
(11:15):
going to have an effing problem, or words sort of
like that. Now, I'll step back. The incident was reported
to NFL Security, and NFL Security has taken statements from
multiple witnesses. Rapaport declined to comment on it, and Schultz
said that in response to Mike Florio, that it lasted
(11:36):
a little over a minute. It really isn't anything too much.
Ian Rappaport had and I had a verbal altercation. Multiple
agents and reporters were nearby. Rap Report was the one
who called security shortly after it, but never escalated anything
further than that. So all of that being said, conflicting reports,
it's the combine in Indianapolis. There's maybe some people that
(11:57):
are hung over there or you know, Ben in the
elbow a little bit presently speaking, and we nearly had
a Donnybrook between NFL reporters. One of them being Jordan
Schultz of Fox and Ian Rapp Beford of the NFL Network,
all over whether or not Tom Brady hosted Matthew Stafford
for a ski trip in Montana.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
I had one question, Yeah, let's go, let's go. Who
do you guys think would have won? Oh Schultz?
Speaker 5 (12:21):
Oh, Schultz by a mile?
Speaker 6 (12:22):
Yeah, throwing Mike Florio, throwing Dan Walk and anyone on
that like, they would all get absolutely tossed around by Schultz.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Yeah, I'll take I'll take Schultz heavy fail.
Speaker 6 (12:34):
It'll have been like Lee fighting wallt also would have been
tossed around.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Who would have got tossed around Lee? Oh? Yeah? Yeah?
What would kick? As he would?
Speaker 4 (12:44):
And by the way, is built different if we had
a souper kitchen in the back of his car.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
He a bit of a home game for Jordan Schultz
because his dad was a former CEO, the CEO of Starbucks,
so the fasts went down the Starbucks. He knew his surroundings,
so there's no way rapping for it would have had
a chance there.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Wow, I never met a home field advantage if you will, Yeah,
I never met him. But you guys are you guys
are certain that he would whoop him.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Yeah, positive, no offense seeing rapping for it.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
I've never met him. He wouldn't he would take up
on you.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
He wouldn't like surprise you be like dang, I ain't
know Ian had that any You know, sometimes guys that's small,
there's a lot of fight in them and you just
didn't know about it.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
They normally don't call security.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
I mean, he could have been doing him a favor
and saving him from the ass whipping that he was
going to dish out. You know, sometimes people are trying
to be considerate about other people's safety when you're messing
with him. You know, he could be that danger He
could be that dangerous. You know, I'm no, you're gonna
go with No is a very docile person. But I'll
(13:55):
just be feeling like people like that are crazy. Man,
Like they got a crazy side to him.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
I just I just love that. This is uh, this
is what sparked off a near throwdown between reporters was
whether or not Tom Brady hosted Matthew Staff.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Why would Jordan Schultz make that up?
Speaker 5 (14:13):
Well, first off, Jordan Schultz wouldn't make it up.
Speaker 6 (14:16):
And Ian Rapaport, I think with the with the way
he's reporting what he's reporting, he's probably trying to in
a way I'd want to speak for him and what
he's doing. But this is this is what I'm guessing. Okay,
what took place between Matthew Stafford and Tom Brady is
(14:38):
something that is probably not the last time it's gonna
gonna happen between Tom Brady and a potential prospect that
they're looking at.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Signing, trading for.
Speaker 6 (14:52):
Whatever scenario you want you want to paint, because Tom
Brady has the power to do that, right, he's a
minority owner, but they're they're empowering him to be a
part of this process. He's in a very public position
at Fox, so he's got continual relationships and conversations with
a lot of the people that he's calling games with.
Speaker 5 (15:12):
So even though he's not in production.
Speaker 6 (15:13):
Meetings, he could still talk to all these guys on
his you know, outside of that one on one on
his phone in person at his home. Yeah, So it's
easy to think that. And by the way, there is
a number of people who happen to live out in
that area, and if they're all out there, there's gonna
be times when they run into each other, whether it's
(15:34):
planned or unplanned, or it could be unplanned. Then it
turns into something that's being planned all of them.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
You maybe, but then all I think there's some others curious.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
I mean the Cheyenne you got, I'm being funny because
I would love to live in Montana.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
Or I said, you got the big belt buckle.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
I went out when I and out on Friday. I
went out with my my cowboy hat, my boots on,
and yeah.
Speaker 5 (16:05):
Yeah, you attended a funeral with the cowboy I did.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Well, that wasn't a cowboy hat. That was just a
big hat.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Looked like spotted spoted alasso too.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (16:15):
Anyway, to get back to the point there is I
think Ian Rappaport is trying to protect the position now
that the NFL is in with Tom Brady being involved
with the Raiders in this capacity, and he may not
be the last, and so there may be other players
who get involved in some way or in some capacity
(16:36):
like this, and they do have to protect you know,
I don't know if you want to call it an advantage.
Speaker 5 (16:41):
But like how all this stuff could work out?
Speaker 6 (16:44):
So that's why I think, let me ask you, and
there's really nothing like they can do about that outside
of trying to create more guardrails or rules and stuff
which it's impossible to be able to enforce. It's it's
no different when when NFL P like they either try
to find out about tampering or collusion. It's like they
(17:05):
claim that all the time it's impossible to prove. It's
i should say almost impossible to prove. It's why it's
never worked out. Every time there's there's been an accusation
of collusion or people of all it's tampering, it's like, oh, okay, that.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Was what good luck trying to prove that pro Bowl
was for that.
Speaker 4 (17:20):
Let me let me ask you, do you feel like
the big presence of tom Brady is going to continue
to command this type of attention. People are going to
pay attention to everything tom Brady is doing. Does this
become more of an issue for Mark Davis? Like does
(17:41):
this get to a point of where Mark Davis is like, man,
you got our block all the way hot, Like things
that you would get away with, maybe they're not going
to get away with, like just normal things you might
not get away with because of how big Tom Brady is.
I mean, for every positive that you have is there
(18:01):
the possibility that there could be a negative connected to
the fact that Tom Brady is who he is. It
sounds like this could be a prime example of that
meaning meaning that.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
The attention it brings and you can't be.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
And that could bring you know, if if Brady didn't
know a rule or something that may have you know,
taken place like it could cost the It could cost
the organization, right, it could it cost a franchise if
this is considered, if this comes back that it's considered tampering,
don't you think that there is going to be action
taken against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
I don't know how far. Again, it's tampering, it's tampering. Yeah,
but if you conclude that he was a part of tampering,
how do you not how do you not discipline the franchise?
Speaker 1 (18:51):
I mean you could discipline them. Whatever they're going to
discipline them is going to be what you know, a
couple hundred grands and a draft pick. But if you
land Matthew Stafford, it was with it probably, But again,
how are you gonna how are you going to prove it?
How are you going to prove it? I don't know.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
And that's the hard part is a headache, like having
does that for sure a deal that you have to
you have to deal with what comes with having Tom
Brady be a part of what you're doing too.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
One hundred percent. I don't even know if it's not
a bad thing.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
It helps out. I'm certain that it does.
Speaker 6 (19:23):
But that's what you're pouring out why Ian might be
putting out a report where he's trying to kind of
protect what is the integrity or the perceived integrity of
the league that's now adopted Tom Brady as.
Speaker 5 (19:36):
A minority owner.
Speaker 6 (19:38):
So so he's gonna for example, and even then, like
even you know, Don Yee kind of coming out making
a statement kind of throws a little bit of throws
some back at Jordan Schultz, who's just saying, look, this
is how this stuff works. I'm giving you a peek
behind the curtain, and everyone else out of around him
is like, no, that's not exactly what was happening. It's like, well, yeah,
(19:58):
the reason, like, here's what I'm guessing, Jordan Schultz is
newer to this space. Is it fair to say that yeah, yeah, okay,
I think these guys are trying to say, like predity,
Mauriel like this, like this is kind of how it works, though,
like you might know everything, you don't need to say everything.
You need to understand how these things work so you
(20:20):
can craft things that you give the report that you
need without giving away how exactly this, yeah or not
even that, just like you're gonna be damaging what happens
all the time in the league. So if you report
this every single time, it's gonna be a problem.
Speaker 5 (20:35):
Like you're gonna be the problem, not the rest of
us who are a part of this.
Speaker 4 (20:39):
Because he didn't take very well to it exactly, Yeah,
you're little ass.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
And it's also he you know, he might be had
he pulled him aside and been like, hey, just so
you know, like you're also affiliated with Fox, so's Tom
Brady Like you're kind of yeah, it's one hundred percent accurate,
but let's play this the way it should be played.
You know, we've been in this game a little bit longer.
It's a fact that he took kind of a snarky
approach and a dismissive approach on social media, and Jordan
(21:07):
Schultz is like, Okay, that guy's getting a Venti Latti whatever.
He's getting from Starbucks. Let me go ahead and dust
him up a little bit and he'll call security.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
So it's just.
Speaker 6 (21:19):
Can I actually say, I know we've got to take
a break because we're up against it, but I do
think it's it's fair that we come back and try
to put a cap on some of this conversation, just
in regards to the courting process, because I do think
it's interesting if the whole skiing between Tom Brady and
Matt Stafford and I'm just I'm picturing at the top
of like a mountain, you know, sitting there skiing down
(21:41):
there together. I'm just I'm picturing of all the ways
that players have been courted over the years. I mean,
the Mike McCarthy sleep agains, Jerry Jones' house is like
right up there at the top. For me, We've got
to discuss some of the different ways these guys have
been courted over the years before we put a cap
on this conversation.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
It's a hell of a plan. It is two pros
and a cup of Joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas knocks with you. So we
are gonna have the usual host cut up. Later on
We're going to catch up with our guy, Albert Breer.
Maybe he was there on hand for the near fight
between Schultz and rap Report. We'll get into that for you.
We're going to have another edition of in case you
missed it. We've got Lee's leftovers. All of it is
yours here from the tiraq dot com studios. But yes,
(22:21):
the cording process. What are you willing to do to
get your guy that's next?
Speaker 3 (22:27):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here coming up.
A little over fifteen minutes from now, somebody decided, you
know what, I'd had enough. They just arrived, They just
got there in the world of sports and decided I'm
out of here. We'll tell you who that is again
a little over fifteen minutes from now from the tire
rack dot Com studio. So we were discussing the big
(23:04):
story in the world of football, which was Tom Brady
and Matthew Stafford reportedly skiing together in Montana, according to
Jordan Schultz of Fox. That was disputed by Ian Rappaport
and Tom Pellisero the NFL network. Schult saw Rapaport at
the Starbucks and decided to approach him, and fisticuffs nearly ensued.
(23:32):
And so we are now going to break down the
courting process as to what you were willing to do
to try and get your guy, because apparently Tom Brady
and Matthew Stafford to go skiing together in Montana to
make it happen.
Speaker 5 (23:44):
Yeah, I just I got so many questions, you know.
Speaker 6 (23:48):
For example, you know, it was reported that but Matt
Stafford was kind of courted out there to go skiing
with Tom, and that's how this whole discussion started. It
was then refuted that that was not the case. Matt
Stafford has a place out there which he's made a
ton of money, so it's not that hard to believe
that he's got multiple places and they happened to maybe
(24:12):
own a place in the same place, you know. I like,
just so people understand, like Sam Bradford, Jeff Fish, I
think they both own a place near each other and
like in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, So it's not uncommon for
a bunch of NFL guys and coaches and different people
to kind of all have a place in similar areas
because they like to hang out and they're like minded,
(24:32):
et cetera. So anyway, I'm just picturing, like the phone
call if if Stafford's like, hey, man, like bring your
bring your ski boots and bring bring your gear, or
was like Tom Brady providing it like you can borrow mine,
or how did it all ensue and work out? Like
that's what I'm I'm really curious to figure out or
maybe you know, just again, Matthew Stafford, who's you know,
(24:55):
still playing, is doing something that, by the way, is
most likely written that in his contract he can't do.
Like if Matt Stafford got hurt skiing or snowboarding, most
likely his guarantees would be voided in his contract because
that's like one of those no not things you can
do when you're a player. So I just got a
lot of questions around it, and like I said, the
(25:16):
one that always sticks out to me is Mike McCarthy
sleeping over at Jerry Jones And just think about the
pillow talk they had. I'm just sure there's other examples
we can think of too, but this one's got to
be right up there.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Didn't you guys get courted at any point during your careers?
Speaker 5 (25:30):
Like not, what was a draft pick?
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Maybe that was about it.
Speaker 4 (25:34):
No, No, never went to anybody's.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
House, litt Danny, didn't take you on the yacht.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
No, never, that's different.
Speaker 5 (25:41):
He's already there. It's not, you know what I'm saying, like.
Speaker 6 (25:46):
Courted when you're a free agent, or in this case,
he's allowed to seek a trade, so he's not even
a free agent, but he's allowed to It's entirely different,
you know. That's that's more of like the you know
there wanting you, doning you that that sort of thing.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
I did get corded at. I saw a picket in
his room when I was getting courted by green Bay.
That was my first impression was they were putting me
up in a room when I was visiting, and I
was there at the same time as the big lineman Picket.
That's his name, right, I don't know Big Liman for
green Bay Lee, who's the big.
Speaker 5 (26:21):
Kenny Pickett was quarter was too young?
Speaker 2 (26:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (26:24):
No, this was a big lineman for for He became
a free agent and went to Green Bay. Picket I
believe it is his last name.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Well, Kenny Pickett was drafted. Was he drafted by them? Yeah? Pickett,
Ryan Petett tackle.
Speaker 6 (26:41):
He was Ryan Pickett, right, Ryan Pickett.
Speaker 4 (26:44):
Yeah, he was in there. He had thank you he
had Ryan Was it Ryan Pickett? I think so he
had us good job. It's Ryan Pickett. He was Ryan Pickett.
And he had to pull trays of of Ryan Pickett,
Ryan Pickett. How much did he waited lee, Ryan Pickett. Oh,
(27:07):
we don't need to shame the guy in the air. No,
it's not shaming. He's just a pretty huge pig. He
waited three forty.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
We had multiple trays.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
Of I don't know, I don't I got my eyes
up really quickly because he was like sitting there almost
like in his natural and me and my wife walked
in with one of the people that works with Green Bay,
and he was like, oh, oh man, oh man, And
I was like sorry, bro, and we backed out of
the room slowly, like real slow.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
So the packers courted you with trays of food.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
Well, he had trays of food and trays of room
service food.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Brady's got a ski trip planned. The packers got a buffet.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
It wasn't it was a buffet on his his hotel table.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
Do you want to really go down a worbole right
now about Ryan Pickett?
Speaker 2 (27:58):
Yeah, let's do it.
Speaker 6 (27:59):
He's he's from Is it pronounces hills or how he
pronounce you know, the water, like the bottled water. That's
where he's from in Florida. Huh Yeah, no kidding, like
most famous for bottled water.
Speaker 5 (28:19):
Yeah, oh that's awesome.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Hell, there you go.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
I know not Well, I'll just say this. I'm just
looking at this year's depth chart for the Raiders. I'm
just curious, does does he make this team better? Does
he make this this Raiders team better? Or is that Stafford?
(28:44):
Is it the start of a gutting process or does
he contribute or does he come in and make the
team that they currently have better than what they were.
Speaker 6 (28:54):
I don't think there's any doubt he makes it better.
I mean they'll be better at quarterback play, so I
think that alone gives them a better chance.
Speaker 4 (29:04):
So you guys trust Jakobe Myers and Trey Tucker.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
I mean that's going to change. That's what they've got
a draft and had some free agents.
Speaker 5 (29:13):
So remember they've got a ton of cap space.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
Yeah, a ton of cap space.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
Maybe Cooper cup could be on the table.
Speaker 6 (29:20):
As well too, a little resunion there and joins him.
I mean, he's certainly he's going to work for in
Las Vegas.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
I don't know. I didn't think about that. Where would
they stay if.
Speaker 5 (29:33):
They their term for churning butter is something entirely different
from where would.
Speaker 4 (29:37):
You stay if you had to go? Like do like say,
I don't know, like what do they do in Vegas?
Speaker 2 (29:45):
Missions? Or what? Would it's the winner Encore? Can you?
I mean, but how would they stay there?
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Can you see how long it would take a horse
and buggy to get from La to Vegas?
Speaker 4 (29:55):
They could stay there. They just wouldn't turn the lights
on or Google maps? I mean, can I can I be.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
If any walked into a casino, he'd go into convulsions.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
That's too much electricity, that's too much. Yeah, he's never
seen that many lights. I feel like our world would
be a better place if we live that way.
Speaker 5 (30:14):
That many lights. Huh, I would say that many mountains,
But you know.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
Dang, I mean that too.
Speaker 4 (30:20):
There's a lot of mountains in there, ye floatation devices.
I just don't know where you would stay if you
were Amish, like winter on Corey, how do you stay there?
Speaker 6 (30:31):
There is nothing like the smell when you walk in
to certain.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
Areas of that hotel.
Speaker 5 (30:36):
They have a very distinct smell.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
And it's phenomenal to have a distinct smell.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
But but it's like there's too much, there's too much energy, right,
they don't let me ask you they do? They don't
fly either, do they Amish?
Speaker 2 (30:51):
Yeah? Oh god no.
Speaker 4 (30:53):
So if they don't fly, how first of all, how
would they get there? It's like the Oregon Trail of
horse and buggy, all the way from wherever they're coming
from to where they're going.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Like they can't.
Speaker 5 (31:03):
I mean you've been around them in Pa before. Why
are you asking us the question?
Speaker 4 (31:07):
I'm curious. No, I'm just curious. I don't know how
they I just remember, but I just remember. It might
not have been the stronghold, but I do remember the
fields getting plowed on my way to people in.
Speaker 5 (31:23):
Shippingsburg who were like, why the hell is saying we're
on fish?
Speaker 2 (31:28):
No, there are amised people just.
Speaker 5 (31:30):
Listen to us on the radio like we're not.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Some of y'all aren't, but some of y'all are. Some
of them.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
I'm telling you, I was watching them plowing fields when
I was on my way to ship. There was like
a whole bunch of fields and they were being plowed
by those big horses. And they were amish people that
were plowing them. That in Vegas, that was my memory.
They probably do it in Vegas. Sam, what are they plowing?
Speaker 2 (31:56):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (31:58):
That's that's just SADQUI get back on the topic.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Here's no irrigation in Vegas? Is there? She gets growing
Cooper Cup throws a soft topic for will he come
like that?
Speaker 4 (32:10):
That seems like that would be an instant upgrade if
he's healthy. Stafford and Cup to Vegas. That's an instant that.
I mean, that's an instant upgrade at both positions.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
But don't you think, let's just play out that this
is true that Brady courted him and he's like he
also tried this with Ben Johnson and they didn't get him.
So don't you think like there's probably the competitor in
Brady's like no, no, no, we're getting for two. Yeah, we're
getting this go for too, Like this is happening.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
So, so what you're saying is is that he had
his Montana home.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Fully stocked, fully stopped.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
Oh yeah, for that ski party and meeting fully stocked. Yeah,
he's got it. Uh, I bet you it was a
very memorable trip.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
Yeah, what's that mean?
Speaker 4 (33:02):
I mean you know, Tom ain't no, tom ain't ain't
a square. I hope y'all know that he knows how
to party. He does know how to get down. On
the get down, I'm just saying, yeah, well, I bet
you Montana was.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
Popping, popping.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
Where do they got into uh staph Cabo?
Speaker 2 (33:24):
That was the other one, Cabo. Yeah, it just happened
to me, just happened to run Cabo. Yeah yeah.
Speaker 6 (33:31):
Also both looking at very mouth mouth and his terrain
happened to both run into each other at in Cabo.
And then there there lies the trade. So but but
that's what I'm saying is this happens all the time.
And what's what's ironic to me is I remember being
in Anneapolis for the combine and you would see guys
(33:51):
who are about to become free agents who had happened
to waltz.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Through the J. W.
Speaker 6 (33:56):
Marriott and you're like going, why is that veteran guy here,
And you're like, oh, so he can quote unquote run
into a general manager, a head coach of one of
the prospective teams he's going to sign with. So this
is not surprising for this time of year, it's not surprising.
I guess the only surprising thing is it went on
(34:17):
in Montana as opposed to potentially Indianapolis for the NFL Combine,
where a lot of these conversations are going on as
it is, So it's it's not going to be the
last time. It's maybe the first time that you see
a minority owner and a player or sharing ski boots
or ski gear or whatever the hell's going on there.
(34:37):
It's I'm just I'm picturing it almost like it's like
something from Dumb and Dumber or something.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
I don't know, but it is.
Speaker 6 (34:45):
It's just funny to me that this has become such
an issue for the reporting of of what took place.
It's like, come on, man, you guys don't need to
duke this out, all right, It's not that big of
a deal.
Speaker 5 (34:56):
Man.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
I wish they would I wish they would have.
Speaker 6 (34:59):
Maybe that's the maybe they're actually gonna make this such
a big beef that Ian Rappaport and Jordan Schultz are
getting in the ring. There'd be like the next guy's on,
rough and rowdy. Figure this thing out.
Speaker 4 (35:09):
It wouldn't last long. I mean they both got some
attention and some time in the media. They're going to
get it all.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
Schultz on Lee. Reach out to him. People, come on
and break down the fight. The alter case's up.
Speaker 6 (35:20):
I can promise you that he's awake right now.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Oh oh wow, Yeah, so reach out. You got his number?
Speaker 1 (35:27):
Yeah, he used to come on all the time on FSR,
So you're gonna hit him up.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Why not get to the bottom.
Speaker 6 (35:33):
Yeah, get him, try to come on the end of
the show today. I know we got Breer too, so yeah,
but let's try. It'll be It would be good to
talk to Breer about this. By the way, Bre's gonna
have some good perspective. He was probably there beer.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Breer was probably drinking while it was happening, like theah God.
Speaker 5 (35:51):
By the way, I don't know if you guys have
seen Breer.
Speaker 6 (35:55):
He has gotten a haircut and it's not quite high
and tight, but it is.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
It's it's deep.
Speaker 6 (36:00):
Only the combine cut for Albert Brears We've got to
ask him about that. It's not his typical haircut for
for the combine. So he's cleaned himself up and just
so people understand too, I have you know, Brear definitely
has involved in many of the conversations, a lot of
the social circles that we're talking about where he gets
some info.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
So he might he might be a little banged up.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
Okay, he might be all right, that works. I mean,
hopefully he didn't cut himself shaving like he did last time.
Speaker 2 (36:27):
Definitely he had a napkin. It was a leaking blood.
Speaker 1 (36:32):

Good, Martin Jonas, Good, Marty Brady, Good, Marty LeVar, Good
morning guys. In case you missed this, Uh, it was
actually on Bailey Hey Brady. It was actually on Monday
that former Penn State quarterback Matt mcgloyd had accepted a
job with Boston College with Bill O'Brien as former head
coach at Penn State as an offensive analyst. Well, it
(38:49):
only took about forty eight hours before he has now
reportedly decided to resign for reported family reasons.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
Wow. Wow, I hope everything's okay.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
I mean, uh, any reports just to what what happened? Uh?
Speaker 2 (39:05):
Just to like are we Uh? Is he okay? Is
everything fine? The report is all it is is uh
in quotes family reasons? Okay, all right?
Speaker 4 (39:15):
Forty eight hours Yeah, I ain't gonna touch that one.
I hope everything is okay. Yeah, it's interesting because trace
McSorley just accepted a quarterbacks analyst job at Penn State too.
Speaker 5 (39:30):
For me was he's like assistance quarterback coach.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
Probably that's what I saw it, Tid. That's good. It's
nice how they announced it. Yeah, they go Penn State.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
It's a home run with the hiring of Trace mcsorleist
for his his little celebration you do throwing touchdown pass.
Speaker 2 (39:51):
It knocks it out of the part.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
He was on big New Kid job last year, wasn't
he he was?
Speaker 2 (39:56):
He was? Yeah? Nice? What else? What else you got?
Speaker 7 (40:00):
Try and work this one and with forty second Yeah,
another dooozy of story with a lot of question marks
and a little fuzzy here. Ninety five year old legendary
actor Gene Hackman found dead yesterday alongside his uh, his
wife Betsy, sixty three year old, and their dog at
Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Speaker 6 (40:17):
No foul play, but all three found dead. Yeah, you're
telling me there's not more to this story.
Speaker 4 (40:23):
There's something there, nothing something is I mean, what's the coincidence?
Ace Like, something's there. Yeah, I'm not going to touch
that one too much either. Why not just cause man, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
I don't know a lot of theories going on.
Speaker 4 (40:43):
Brilliant actor enjoyed his movies. Actually Superman Enemy at a
state
