Speaker 6 (00:42):
That chair alms broke on that kickback? Yeah, that was
a big one. That thing has some kick.

com the way tire buying should be. So we were discussing,
you know, what are these quarterbacks going to do? Aaron Rodgers,
Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins. Apparently the Falcons are going to
keep him on the roster. There's a bonus coming up.
They seem to be okay with that. Can't find a
(01:32):
trade partner yet, and so it's kind of the waiting game.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
We do know a lot so far. Yeah, well it's
another ten min.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
We do know.
Speaker 6 (01:41):
Well done.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
It's kind of odd, and I think he went to
Arthur Blank and just said I'd love to play elsewhere,
and the Falcons just don't appear to want to, you know,
just move on and admit that, yeah, maybe we've made
a mistake. Instead, they can hold on to them, you know,
just a little insurance. But I would hold on to
him for insurance. Why not.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
Maybe seeing Michael Pennix go out there and start this
past end of the year and into this next season
will help him get rid of the yips. You put
him back in and he's all of a sudden he's
cured of the yips. You know, he doesn't want to
He doesn't want to lose that job once he gets
it back. Now, can I ask you all this? If
(02:25):
Kirk Cousins were to stay with the Atlanta Falcons, there's
nothing that says Michael Pennix is going to turn this
team into a winner. Nothing that I saw him do
this past season says to me that this is the
wave of the future. I think he's really good. I
think he's talented. I think he has a lot of assets.
But nothing said that that's translating to the Atlanta Falcons.
(02:49):
If Kirk Cousins were to get another opportunity, Michael Pennix
is on his rookie contract, it's not a big deal.
If kirk Cousins stays in as the starter or time
correct or or am I reading that wrong. If that's
the case, why would you allow him to go? Because now,
who are you going to have? I mean, you're already
(03:10):
paying him, So who do you have that that's going
to come in and still get your team a better
chance than Kirk Cousins coming in off the bench.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
You couldn't find a quarterback for less than ten million
dollars as a backup.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
What's your day of cap hit if you get rid
of them? Is it is it cheaper to keep them?
Or is it cheaper to get rid of them, Because
if it's.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Hoping to do is someone will trade and maybe they
can offset you know what he's zoned by paying a
portion of it. But in exchange you either get back
another player you need, which I mean Atlanta's been hammering
the defensive side of the ball. I mean, one of
the storylines I even know if he touched on in
the combine was they only sent their defensive staff. They
(03:53):
did not send their offensive staff to the combine. At
least that was reportedly what took place. So it seems
like that's the side of the ball the most concerned by.
They want pass rushers, if they want everything on defense,
it seems like for the most part, So it seems
like there's maybe potential of a player they could trade
for or just more draft capital, in particular for this
(04:14):
year before the draft with one of these teams that
you know doesn't get a quarterback that they're looking for,
so you know, Pittsburgh might be that team that if
Russell Wilson decides to go to the New York Giants,
and maybe Aaron Rodgers decides to go somewhere else, or
maybe he goes to the Giants, Russell Wilson goes to
what the Browns. He's reportedly meeting with them, visiting with them.
(04:36):
You know, However, it may work out with these musical chairs.
Maybe it ends up being, you know, Kirk Cousins getting
closer to the draft before he's traded or moved to
a team that's got a potential quarterback need.
Speaker 6 (04:47):
It's possible, It's possible.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
But I just think that if I'm looking at Atlanta
and seeing what the situation is, I'm expecting and anticipating
them to let him.
Speaker 6 (04:57):
Go, you know.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
And why would I take make a chance on giving
up capital when I can try to go get them
when they release them, unless you're saying I don't want
to take that chance. But does Kirk Cousins scream the
vibe that I don't want to take the chance of
letting him become a free agent, you know, of just
a unsigned quarterback versus you know, taking on the value
(05:22):
of what his contract represents. Now and again, what is
that dig cap hit for Atlanta if they let him go,
right now, what's the what's their hit? Is it significant?
Is it more significant than them? You know, would it
make sense for them to keep him for another year
(05:44):
and get his services as a backup just in case,
or is it more feasible to release him?
Speaker 1 (05:53):
So is his dead cap hit? Is that right? It
looks like sixty five million dollars? Yeah, just seeing how
they could do a post June one designation and that
could spread it into the following year. But that's kind
of where they're at.
Speaker 5 (06:08):
See, the whole thing is if a team isn't going
to take on because why would I want to take
on that man's contract? And why would I want to
give up draft capital for Kirk Cousins.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Well, the reason why you would is because his cap
hit isn't that bad this year. So if you could
find a way of offsetting it's forty million. And I
know that that's a lot of money, don't get me wrong,
But when you compare it to we just talked about
Josh Allen making fifty five borrow fifty five at least
that's their average annual value. I have to go back
and look at the contracts. But when you're you're looking
(06:40):
at it in comparison to some of the other contracts
out there, it's not quite as bad. And again that
that capit could get shared depending on the details of
a trade. So there's the potential that a team trading
for him, very similar to the Russell Wilson Denver Broncos
trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers. There's a potential chance that
(07:00):
you know, not saying that Atlanta's only we're going to
have to play the majority of that, but there's the
chance that they would pay a portion of it and
exchange get draft picks, which we've seen teams do before.
Right that's like one of those dirty little secrets right
now that's in the NFL is you'll essentially unload some
of a player's cap in exchange for draft picks, and
(07:22):
those draft picks you're essentially paying for along with trying
to get that player off your books. But the NFL
doesn't want to make it seem it seemed like you
can buy a draft pick, but in reality, we've seen
some teams do that in the past.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
We do know this, the Kirk Cousins has not been released,
not been traded. Somebody was released officially Cooper Cup. Cooper
Cup is gone, no mom, no longer remember the la
Rams and so now he's going to be looking elsewhere.
And Brady, I thought you brought up a really great question,
really really great question. If you want to go ahead,
we have a live studio band in attendance. Brady, do
(07:59):
you want to what was that?
Speaker 5 (08:01):
Well?
Speaker 1 (08:01):
I was really, you know, thinking about Cooper Cup, and
I know he's battled some injuries of late, but I
was thinking who better, who better than when LeVar Arrington?
Oh wow, to help us sort out where Cooper Cup
is going to go next. And I do want to
take into consideration this, and Jonas is going to help
you out LeVar. Right, we've I mean again, I didn't
(08:23):
know he was Amish or even looked homage to so
I wasn't sure what to think about any of it.
Jonas has convinced me that he's amishkay, So we're thinking
the next destination, LeVar may be a place that's close
to some Amish communities, So we have actually Jonas has
constructed a list of teams that you can again work
with Jonas and figure this out. But whatever team you select,
(08:46):
Jonas is going to help find the Nearish Amish community
that would be able to comfort Cooper Cup.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Now we have some options here, LeVar. And when we
were trying to find this Amish destination for Cooper Cup,
who looks like one of the stunt doubles on King
And we've got Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and then some others.
So who would you like to hear about first? That
would kind of wet your whistle a little bit when
it comes to well, you know, Indiana is on that list. Okay,
(09:12):
all right, So Elkhart Lagrange County is in northeastern Indiana.
It's a heart geographically merging with the whatever settlement that
is due to growth. Other significant Amish communities in Indiana
include Adams County and the I believe this is the
(09:33):
Napanee Settlement.
Speaker 5 (09:35):
So there's that. There's an now before I give you,
before I give you what I'm thinking.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
I like.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
I like Indiana for for some reasons. Uh, what about
New York? I think New York is on that list.
I don't really actually see New York.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Oh yeah, Jonas, try try to make your work, Jonas,
help him out, help out. He's a lifeline.
Speaker 5 (09:55):
I mean, it's number five on the Amish population of
twenty one thousand, seven, one hundred and twenty five. Now,
if you're gonna mess with me about my people, then
you need to know where we're at.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Okay, Well, I mean yeah, I all right.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Let's go to it.
Speaker 6 (10:08):
Let's go to it.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
I just you know, let's go to it.
Speaker 6 (10:10):
Because New York is a possibility. There is a possibility.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
And just to know that there's just north of thirty
thousand in population in the New York population. Now, now
granted that that could be near Buffalo, that could be
near more near other parts of New York that aren't
even close to those areas.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
What about Cattaraugus County, Lawrence County County, all in New York,
all with some Amish communities.
Speaker 7 (10:38):
So now Lancaster City, Lancaster, Yeah, that is that is
what you would say.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
The oldest and largest Amish states. One, by the way,
is known for traditional farming practices, horse drawn buggies, and
the Pennsylvania Dutch dialect.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
It is amazing the dialect. Have you ever heard, uh?
Speaker 4 (11:04):
The by the way it says here. It's a major
tourist destination, allowing visitors to experience the Amish culture and countryside.
Speaker 6 (11:11):
I know what it's near.
Speaker 4 (11:13):
I mean, if you want to hear hershey park, if
you want to know what it's like to be homish,
just waiting until the power goes out. It's also and
don't bathe near. Why do you go to Pennsylvania for that?
Speaker 6 (11:23):
Hey, relax man.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
Other communities in Pennsylvania include Big Valley in Uh, it's
just Mifflin County. Mifflin, that's western side Wilmington in the
western part of the state. So the Steelers.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Steelers are Eagles or the Eagles, well, Eagles eastern But yeah,
I'm just saying that Lancaster Lancaster is the eastern side.
Speaker 7 (11:46):
Lancaster, Lancaster, Lancaster, Lancaster like Lancaster. That's not how they
say Lancaster. Yeah, Lancaster Lancaster. I can't explain how how
they say it. I can just say it Lancaster.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
How about Holmes County in Ohio the largest Amish population.
It offers various visitor activities related to the Amish culture
and including shops and photo opportunities. What do the Amish
you and they see you pull out your iPhone when
you're getting abducted their food?
Speaker 1 (12:21):
That would mean Cleveland, but also it still keeps Pittsburgh
in the mix because Pittsburgh is not too far from
Holmes County.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
We literally could walk the western side of the state,
not the eastern side where Wincaster is, but they're basically
western side. We could walk into Ohio.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Are you basically saying he's gonna go to a Midwest
team because of the Amish community.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
It's what it looks like here Berlin, Walnut Creek, charm
Mount Hope Trail, Winesburg.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
I mean, there's no chances he's staying out in California anywhere.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
I'm trying to think no, because out in California we
just have the homeless, like we don't have Amish.
Speaker 6 (12:57):
That's not comparable Jonas.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
Now, uh, there is a god dang Mississippi has know.
Speaker 5 (13:05):
How much money they probably got not paying for electricity
and stuff like that. They probably got crazy cash. Oh yeah,
they would crazy cash. They want nothing to do with
Michael and they sell everything from dogs to horses, to foods, everything,
so dogs everything. Keino got his rottweiler from Amige. Yes,
(13:30):
he drove the homage country to get Bruh. You get
anything you need from them, man, they have it all
and it's like quality.
Speaker 6 (13:36):
Have a beard.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
It ain't like they on on the corner like hustle
it like, you know, knockoff the it's like you get
it just good, great Amish, so knockoff. They know knockoff
coming from them. It's like those those liquors take pride.
They take pride and delivering the goods. Man, I'm just
being honest with you, like I banged with them. Their
(13:58):
apple pies are fire fire apple pies. I went, I went,
I ate out of Amish, like I ate out of
a place in Hershey, And the food came from an Amish,
uh you know, a farm.
Speaker 6 (14:18):
And the soup was I mean the food all together.
Speaker 5 (14:23):
I had a burger, I had some soup and and
I just got to tell you, and I had some
apple pie and it was.
Speaker 6 (14:32):
It was so good.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
So they outsource the items from an Amish. So do
the Amish work in the kitchen.
Speaker 5 (14:42):
I think they just get the I get. They get
the meat and get all the materials from there.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
They make it in the back of their horse and
buggy and bring it to the restaurant.
Speaker 5 (14:52):
I don't know how it works, Jonas, but it's good
and they make it a point to let you know
that it came from an Amish farm, like that's one
of the speaking points of the restaurant that we went
into to eat lunch. So we have figured out that
there are options for Cooper Cupp. There are options and
and here's the hard part.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Here's the hard part is based on this is an
old article. So we have to get updated odds on
DraftKings for Cooper Cup's next landing spot. But again dated,
but the Broncos were one of the favorites. New England,
which there might be some some Amish.
Speaker 6 (15:28):
It's close up there. It's close.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
Yeah, Washington, the Commandos were up there, and then Kansas
City and Pittsburgh. So Pittsburgh is in the top five.
You got plus six hundred. But these are some data odds,
so we need to update this.
Speaker 5 (15:40):
Yeah, you know, there's also Amish community in Wisconsin, so
there could be the idea of him going to the
Green Bay Packers. There's Amish country in Florida, so he
could go to one of them. Florida teams could be Jacksonville,
could be the Dolphins, although that doesn't seem like there
(16:01):
would be any homage. You know, towns close to to
South Beach.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
But I mean I was saying this and Belichick was
still coaching the NFL.
Speaker 6 (16:08):
It's a done deal.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
M he's got Belichick wide receiver written all over.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
He does he does? You know, go go why?
Speaker 6 (16:19):
I think you know?
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Why?
Speaker 6 (16:20):
Tell me why?
Speaker 4 (16:21):
Why would you think?
Speaker 5 (16:22):
Well, because he's smaller, and he's lighter, he's smaller, lighter
like in waiter, lighter, lighter and the small as Cooper cup.
Cooper cup is about the same size as like amadola,
and then.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
It's got to be bigger than that.
Speaker 5 (16:41):
What's the what's the other one? What's the other one?
That that that Bill Belichick had? Wes Welker, Wes Welker.
There's another one, isn't there? There's another one?
Speaker 3 (16:54):
There?
Speaker 6 (16:55):
We go six, there's no six tow he really yeah,
he's big.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Yeah. Well, they get good sleep in the Amish communities.
Speaker 6 (17:06):
I'm just saying, like, that is fresh.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
They don't have all that blue light that's keeping them
up at night and letting them get the rem sleep.
Speaker 6 (17:13):
Bruh. That that food is fresh man.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Yeah, the milk, non pasteurized, drinking right out of the cow.
A lot of good bacteria in that stuff. If it's
grass fed.
Speaker 6 (17:23):
Yeah, eggs a side of the trash can lids.
Speaker 8 (17:26):
Welker five to nine, Edelman five, Abondola five eleven.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
Oh yeah, one of the next to is a giant
compared to that. Yeah, he would not fit in. No, no,
he would not fit in. To build Belichick, it's more
like a Chris Hogan, you know, unless he put him
at tight end. I mean, but then now he's not
big enough.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
He's good enough to get a job in the NFL,
and it's probably gonna be somewhere near an Amish community.
Speaker 5 (17:52):
I would go back to the to the rams, just
go back. You see they charging that girl. That track
athlete said that she's mumbled and stumbled into fracturing that
girl's skull.
Speaker 6 (18:04):
I mean, she's stumbled. It was an accident. She just stumbled,
just stumbled into it.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
It looks like they're a haymaker with that baton. By
the way, there is a beachy Amish Mennonite community in California.
Speaker 6 (18:15):
There you go, Yeah, there you go. Don't sleep, man,
They playing around.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
I mean that's more of a New Age one. If
you really want to go back through history, I think
it happened around the nineteen twenties. Good for the little
disagreement on some things in particular technology. So that's how
you got yourself to the beachy Almuss Mennonite community.
Speaker 5 (18:33):
Good for them. Well, hey, now that's the one out
won't see that you can stay here. That's probably why
you came here in the first place.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
By way, you know, those horses are looking back on
these people are such losers.
Speaker 5 (18:47):
Get a truck. May them horses be happy as hell.
Brou they take good care of them horses. I mean
they had a truck, they could take it. O'Riley, I
know that can help take the guests over your check
engine light with o'reiley verscan. The service is free and

Speaker 4 (19:08):

(19:58):
get him on x at out or brier AB. Good morning,
How are we feeling?
Speaker 2 (20:03):
Hey? Good morning guys. How we doing?
Speaker 6 (20:06):
I mean you okay?
Speaker 1 (20:07):
You sound sad?
Speaker 6 (20:08):
You good?
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Oh? No, no o good? How are we doing?
Speaker 6 (20:11):
Bod good to hear you. Yeah, absolutely, Albert.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Enthusiasm boy, pick it up a little bit.
Speaker 6 (20:18):
Here, all right?
Speaker 4 (20:19):
No wor what is the What can you tell us
is the latest? With Aaron Rodgers Russell Wilson. It feels
like Russ is kind of waiting.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
No, I mean you guys might want to visit a
beach near you out there? Jonas maybe you can find
out for me.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
He's hanging out here, listen, he's just you know, trying
to contemplate his future.
Speaker 6 (20:38):
You know, there's nothing wrong with that.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Yeah, it looked like he was pretty deep in thought there. Yeah,
I mean, I I would just tell you, you know,
like all I know about this situation is that the
teams are waiting, and so Pittsburgh and the Giants are
sort of in a holding pattern waiting for an answer
right now. You know, obviously this whole of some other
(21:00):
things in the quarterback market. The vikings are an interesting
one because the Vikings. I mean, you guys saw what
Daniel Jones got from from Indy, right, so it's one year,
fourteen million dollars incentives, they can take it to seventeen seven.
My understanding is Minnesota made an offer that was very
competitive with with what Indianapolis putting from him. They put
(21:23):
something compelling in front of Sam Darnold too, so you know,
clearly they want some insurance. Now they've discussed whether or
not that should lead them down the path of pursuing
Aaron Rodgers, and that's an ongoing discussion for them now too.
You know, you would think, you know, like based on
what Minnesota brings to the table that could change things
(21:45):
entirely for Rogers. So it's complex, and you know, some
other things are being held up now, you know, the
cousins thing is is still in a holding pattern as well,
which I think is created an opening for Russell Wilson
to go to try to find a starting spot. And
I think there is some fear for the teams involved
that you know, this has become a little bit of
(22:06):
a game of musical chairs, and you don't want to
be the team that's still standing up when the music stops.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Can I point one thing out about that photo that
surface with Rogers on the beach with the board and
kid and a pair of board shorts looking out, is uh,
can you get a pair of wireless AirPods? I mean,
my god, he's wearing headphones or earphones that have have
chords attached to him. Like what is this?
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Like I thought this was Like I thought that was
isn't that a thing the kids are doing? Now? By
wrong about that? Like I thought, like I don't. I mean,
I'm old now, so I don't know the trends and stuff,
but I think I thought like they'd be like I
don't know, like less than a year ago, I had
noticed that like wired headphones were back in for some reason,
(22:50):
which I have no idea why that would be the case.
That'd be like, that'd be like you know, kids wanting
you know, wires in their PlayStation controllers again. So I
don't know why that would be the case, but but yeah,
I think that might be some sort of trend and
maybe maybe Aaron's trying to find some use and doing
things that way.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
I was getting my ass kicked on PlayStation yesterday on
wireless remote.
Speaker 6 (23:11):
So I don't know. It hasn't made it.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
I used to be. I mean, I gotta tell you, guys,
I play. I played. I played some college football against
my my sons. I am. I'm not even Michael Jordan
on the Wizards anymore. I'm like Michael Jordan right now.
I was like I was. It's uh, I used to
be unbelievable. I could beat anybody in college football when
I was when I was, when I was like my
(23:35):
funniest and it's just I'm I'm so washed up.
Speaker 5 (23:38):
My son beat me with a random team, he said,
and stop and it was on Liberty and he beat
me with St.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
State.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
So that's a good punch line. There's your punchline. I
won't use anybody else, but I was using Penn.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
State and that's that's that's a tough one.
Speaker 5 (23:56):
He was stopping my run. I don't know how he
was stopping my run. I guess I was predictable.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
That's like, that's what you want to do. Though you
would think like at the very least you can line
up and run him over. But it's.
Speaker 5 (24:11):
A b I wanted to ask you about Russ, like
we had the conversation about him earlier.
Speaker 6 (24:17):
Why does it.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
Seem like he's like there's like this like toxic feeling
connected to Russell Wilson, Like, what like what's being said
about Russ? Why is it that it seems like he's
getting like a bum rap in terms of being wanted
and and what his value could be as a starting
quarterback for a team.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
I mean, I just think it's the way that things
ended the last couple of places he was. You know,
it wasn't I don't think it was the prettiest divorced
in Seattle, and you know the way that that kind
of evolved over time, and then you know in Denver,
obviously you know that thing like happened like in the
middle of the season, and then you know, I think
(24:57):
when you when when when you go back and you
examined the last month in Pittsburgh kind of how that
went the wrong way. I think there's just I mean,
look like, I think we're all sort of you know,
like your your opportunity is dictated by your talent, right like,
and so people are willing to put up with more
from you, the more you can bring to the table.
(25:18):
And I think that's you know, that goes for you know,
any walk of life. And I think as you become
less capable of carrying a team as a player or
playing at a very high level as a player, people
are willing to put up with less, you know. And
I think that's sort of where it is right now,
is that it's not like that Russell just can't play anymore,
you know. I think the bigger question for a lot
(25:39):
of these teams is like, well, what if you going
to bring with him? And are we going to have
to deal with all the stuff that Denver had to
deal with or is there going to be noise at
the end of the year if things don't go the
right way. The way there was a noise at the
end of the year in Pittsburgh, you know. And that's
that's the thing that I think teams are a little
leery of. At the same time, I mean, what are
(26:00):
you looking at now if you're if you're the Giants,
if you're the Browns, if you're the Steelers. You know,
and you can't control what happens with Kirk Cousins, and
and and and obviously Aaron Rodgers is going to pick
one and then somebody's gonna be left out in the cold.
It's it's an interesting situation. It's an interesting dynamic that's
out there. I mean, you know, one dame that's sort
of interesting that I don't think a lot of people. Look,
(26:21):
that's Joe Flacco, you know what I mean, Like, like
I wonder would Joe black Will be a better option
than Russell Wilson right now? I maybe for something, you know,
Like so, I think a lot of this still needs
to play out. To me, Like the Kirk Cousins situation
is the one that no one's talking about. That's really interesting.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
So what is the latest of that we saw that
they you know, plan to move forward with him on
the roster. Yeah, what what's the idea and thinking behind that.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
Yeah, I think I think a big, a big part
of it is, you know, like this decision is like
we would rather pay one hundred million dollars for two
years of him than take the sun cost of ninety
million dollars for a single year. And I, yeah, I
do wonder if to some degree pride getting in the
way of this now. Kirk reguards of the meeting with
ownership last week. He wound up meeting with Arthur Blank
(27:11):
on Wednesday night told Arthur Blank, I, you know, I
I would like to have an opportunity to go start
somewhere this year. You know. I think you know that
the response from the Falcons was more or less, you know,
like that that we don't we don't see this as
you know, like a we don't we don't think it's
good business to to to walk away from a quarterback
(27:33):
and pay for him to play for someone else. And
and and based on you know, what you see across
the league and the way these situations can play out,
we may need karts this year, you know. And so
I'm they're sort of at a standoff now, and I
think maybe the solution, guys like to me is if
you're the Falcons, can you find a team where you say, okay,
(27:56):
we're willing to pay X amount of money on a salary,
you know, say ten million, fifteen million dollars of his
salary to buy a draft pick, and then you get
out of the remainder of the guarantee if you're if you're,
if you're Atlanta. I think something like that could wind
up being the solution, you know, because I think there
are teams out there again, like you know Cleveland, which
(28:18):
you know, Kevin Stefanski's there, Kevin Stefanski coached Kirk Cousins
for two years in Minnesota. There's there's got to be
a solution like that out there. And and I, you know,
you do sort of feel for Kirk a little bit.
I mean, I you know, I guess it's hard to
make anybody feel bad for a guy who's, you know,
collecting one hundred million dollars over a couple of years,
but I, you know, I do think for Kirk, who
(28:39):
kills his football mortality, he just wants to go somewhere
and play. And when he signed in Atlanta in the
first place, you know, he felt like, you know, it
was going to be his show at least for a
year or two and and was sort of blindsided by
them picking Michael Pennock in the first round.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Albert In regards to this timeline on when this all
could happen. Could this drag out in the draft or
maybe after the draft?
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Yeah, I mean it just depends on and the Falcons
have shown a real willingness to to wait it out. Now,
the next checkpoint and deadline, whatever you want to call
it and this whole thing at Monday, that's when the
ten million dollars for next year, for twenty twenty six
becomes fully guaranteed. So right now they owe him twenty
seven and a half million dollars fully guaranteed for this year.
(29:25):
That guarante, like the guaranteed money they owe them, rises
by ten million dollars, and that ten million dollars is
part of his twenty twenty six money. If he's still
on the roster on Monday, the Falcons have not shown,
have not given any indication that that's going to make
them move whatsoever. So you know, if we get there
(29:45):
and we get to Monday and he's still on the roster,
and yeah, the next checkpoint I think would be the
draft and you know, then you'd be talking about maybe
a team coming out of the first round on that
Friday without a quarterback and saying, Okay, we need to
do something and then and then maybe the Falcons have
a trade partner. But I think it would be best
for everybody if they did it now. I mean, I
don't know, Brady. I tend to think the best thing
(30:07):
for your young quarterback is to is to rid the
room of any sort of drama that might exist. And
clearly this is you know, I think this is going
to be a storyline. And if he doesn't play well,
if he doesn't play well coming out of the gate gate,
if a storyline that could be reprised if Kirk is
still on the roster.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
That on Tennessee, because like, what's their plan? Are they
just going to roll with Will Levis at this point
or is.
Speaker 6 (30:33):
There exactly what.
Speaker 7 (30:36):
I mean?
Speaker 2 (30:36):
It just looks I mean, it feels like everything's lining
up for like right now at least like it feels
like everything's lining up for Kemp Moore to be the pick,
you know, and I and I don't know for sure
that's going to happen, but like you know, I would
have told you two weeks ago, I think it's going
to be Abduall Carter. And I still don't think Abdul
Carter gets out of the two or first two or
(30:57):
three picks. But I mean it's not just you know,
like that they haven't gotten the quarterback. It's like sort
of like the lack of activity at all at quarterback.
You know, that gets your attention with where where the
Titans are they going to do something? You know, their
new general manager, Mike Borgonzi was with Carson Wentz last
year and in Kansas City. Could that be an option?
(31:18):
You know, I mentioned Joe Flacco, like I think he
could be you know, an effective bridge for a year
if he needed to bridge it. You know, But I
you know, the way I look at it, you know,
they it's not just that they haven't gotten one. It's
just the lack of throwing their hat in the ring
in any of these situations that sort of at least
would would would would seem to indicate that that maybe
(31:40):
the leaning towards taking quarterback first overall. And I think
most teams view this, you know, view it as as
cam Ward is as the best prospect at that position,
and then they're being in cap.
Speaker 5 (31:52):
My last question I had two for you know, that
was definitely one I was thinking of. My The question
is what was the thought processing going and getting Justin
Fields versus another quarterback? And are they looking at him
as being the starter for for this team? So is
that like that's a pretty discounted rate compared to what
(32:13):
these other guys are getting on the market to be
starters in the league.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
Yeah, I think they do. They Yeah, I would say
they view Justin Field's as their starter for now. And
who knows what this can become. You know, I think
it's a good reminder LeVar of the situation that that
that that Aaron Glenn is coming from right like he
went to Detroit. Did anybody think when when when he
and Dan Campbell and Ben Johnson and Brad Holmes all
those guys got to Detroit, did anybody think that like
(32:40):
four years later, Jared Goff would still be the quarterback?
You know what I mean? Like, I think most people
felt like when that trade happened, when the Stafford trade happened,
that that Jared Goff was a salary dump, you know,
And lo and behold, here we are and he's played
in an NFC title game. And he's made the playoffs
twice and he's got a brand new contract, you know
what I mean. Like, so I think that's the sort
(33:02):
of idea here is like you're not saying he's going
to be a quarterback for five for the next five years,
ten years, but you know you're bringing in a talented
kid and you're going to give him the opportunity to
show that he can be that, you know, sort of
like Sam Darnold last year and Baker Mayfield the year
before that, where you take a highly drafted kid and
(33:23):
you say, okay, like let's see what we can make
out of this. And I think it's also an indication
that I think they'll pick a seventh overall and armand
in front of me, but I think they take seventh,
you know, I think it's also an indication that, like
they know they can't control what happens at the top
of the draft, and you know, the draft classic quarterback
(33:44):
isn't such where you know there's there's likely to be
one that's worthy of the seventh overall pick.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
The falls then he.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
Is Albert Brier. Get him on x at Albert Breer.
He is an Amazon NFL on Prime Insider the star
of the show. Really if you ask him, senior NFL
porterly strates at the m.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
And if you guys, if you guys see anybody out
on those beaches out there, Jonas, let me know.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
Yeah, we will do. By the way, people are tweeting
in that Rogers has a theory about uh, bluetooth affecting
your brain and so that's.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
There you go, Yeah, there you go. That makes sense.
That was that was definitely now right, Like that's that
looked like to me.
Speaker 4 (34:27):
Yeah, yeah, because if you pan farther back you would see, like,
you know, some homeless people and some things like that. Definitely,
Oh wow, we're going there saying if you pull back
on the camera just you can see that. But Albert,
thanks so much.
Speaker 6 (34:40):
Man.

What yeah, yeah, yeah, hit it. I'll send you guys
a video. What's the festival called.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
That's okay, it's Rolling Loud, It's it's nationwide. They do
this in a bunch of different big cities.
Speaker 6 (36:11):
I went last year.
Speaker 4 (36:12):
It was a little much, to be honest, but hey,
free tickets.
Speaker 1 (36:15):
I can't say.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
No.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
I want to say a lot of the people that
I know down in Miami, when they have it there,
like people will literally leave, They'll like rent out their
places because to your point, it's it's so much that
there's like I'd rather just rent my place out and
I'm gonna go wait.
Speaker 6 (36:28):
For the weekend.
Speaker 4 (36:29):
Actually looking at the lineup here, anybody now Lee?
Speaker 1 (36:33):
If Lee did that with his place, the problem is
he'd never be able to get back in because they
somehow extend their reservation for the month.
Speaker 4 (36:40):
Hey, I'm not his husband's going to be there. I'm
not making this up. Do you know who one of
the sponsors is? Beat Box? Yes?
Speaker 6 (36:47):
Go right, look at this there it is?
Speaker 4 (36:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (36:52):
Hell yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:53):
Can we turn up tweaker a little bit?
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Night?
Speaker 4 (36:57):
Oh you did drink last night?
Speaker 6 (36:59):
Oh I did?
Speaker 1 (36:59):
Yeah, have a great last night. We could not tell
today you seem so you know, forgot about.
Speaker 8 (37:06):
Forgot about the green Apple when that happens. Beatbox four
Loco also a sponsor, gave.
Speaker 6 (37:15):
Them up a while ago, but long live for Loco? Interesting?
What else? Lee? Guys?
Speaker 8 (37:23):
This has been a debate that's been brought up a
lot lately, and you know, I never gave it much thought.
But do you guys ever think about this? Tipping on
sales tax? So you get your you know, you get
your bill, sales tax is going to be you know,
added on to it.
Speaker 6 (37:40):
This has been a topic of debate. Can you get
it out? Yeah? Do you guys do.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
Tip after sales tax before?
Speaker 6 (37:51):
Are you always?
Speaker 8 (37:51):
I always just tipped on the total and never gave
it much thought, right.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
I think? I think technically you're supposed to tip before
sales tax. However, most people tip after, especially based on
the way the receipts are printed out. I thought you're
gonna go with it. Do you trip tip twenty or
twenty five percent?
Speaker 6 (38:08):
Now?
Speaker 1 (38:09):
Because some people that are like, oh you should tip
thirty s tip twenty five And it's like should it
kind of depend on the service?
Speaker 2 (38:15):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (38:15):
Yeah, Like like I know there's a standard, but shouldn't
it depend on the service that you get?
Speaker 5 (38:20):
I believe so because if I get poor service, I'm
giving a poor tip. I'm sorry, I'll give a poor
tip and a heartbeat and I'll give it.
Speaker 6 (38:28):
What are you gonna do?
Speaker 4 (38:30):
I mean, I'm a sucker for this. I always tip
probably more than.
Speaker 5 (38:33):
Shit, even if they're not even if it's not good service.
Well you're weirdo Well, because because if you're not giving
me a good service, then what am I paying?
Speaker 6 (38:41):
Like? What am I paying you for?
Speaker 4 (38:43):
Well, there's a lot that goes into good service or
bad service, and so there may.
Speaker 6 (38:47):
What exactly does that mean? You listen to what I
have to say? Know your menu?
Speaker 4 (38:52):
There may be you dous and make me have an experience.
Their timeliness could be because the food runner didn't do
their job.
Speaker 1 (39:01):
Bro Lvar's own restaurants. He knows what you're gonna say.
Speaker 5 (39:05):
It makes absolutely no like like the bottom line here
is an experience is an experience if if the kitchen
is backed up, you know what you do, Jonas you
go tell the table and you let them know, like
listen to one my best to die?
Speaker 6 (39:17):
Would you like something.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
More about restaurant work than you guys will ever know?
Like whom I don't.
Speaker 5 (39:23):
Have a problem. You're a couple of don like, but
don't act like. We don't know what good service is. Oh,
it's way more complicated than just you've worked.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
At Chucky Cheese and now you feel like you're you're.
Speaker 6 (39:38):
Until you put a rat outfit on. You don't know.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
Keep shaking that rat ass, keep popping that rat a
