You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
This is his new song, jeez. I will reserve comment
on this song for when he comes back.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I want this song, socks. It's spring break.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Though there is spring break nostalgia to this song, I
will say that it definitely brings back some very fond
memories some some very fond memories actually when I could
see muscles in my belly instead of fat.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Oh come on, man, I'm just saying, you know, bubbles
Pool pools.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
I think you look great, Thanks sir. This song was
out Fox Sports Radio. LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knocks of the air.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
That song right there, Yeah, that song right there.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yeah, there's some memories connected.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
To that one. So no, Brady Quinn as we mentioned
earlier in this was that period of time in the world.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah, I do, Jersey Shore some issues with travel, So
Braden Quinn will not be with us here today. Uh
not the the greatest way for him to spend his
Saint Patty's Day.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
He was gonna say, it's a horrible day. I mean,
you're traveling.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I mean, he was going to give us a full
breakdown on like Saint Patti's state traditions, like like green
pancakes and and stuff like that. I'm sure Lee will
have a bunch of that and Lee's leftovers. But you know,
are you a corn beef and cabbage go?

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Corn beef is one of the most underrated meats out there.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
I think it's fantastic, especially if it's done correctly. Oh God,
cabbage and corn beef is that's a winner with some carre.
Cabbage bad itself is a winner. I mean, I just
you got cabbage alerted. I really enjoy fried cabbage. Do
you fry your cabbage?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
You never had? Is fried cabbage good? Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:36):
B bu never had that. I never thought to do
that with bacon and and and onions. I've never done that.
Oh bruh, what do you mean? A gassy food.

Speaker 5 (02:49):
Cabbage is the biggest fart maker.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Oh yeah, yeah, I would. I would.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
I'd advise everyone to kind of keep their distance. It's
a have you still got a COVID mask? It's in
your glove box. Pull that out and bore it tomorrow, because.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
The one with a filter on it.

Speaker 6 (03:08):
If you're doing corn beef and cabbage steamed, steamed with
some some garlic, garlic butter, and some garlic salt with
with corn beef or with bacon onions, it's so good.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Though, much that happen. Are you guys doing corn beef
and cabbage tonight?

Speaker 3 (03:29):
You got to know, now that you've said it, we
might need to do it. It might have to happen,
might have to happen, might have to happen.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
It's tasty, man. Plus when like then you can do
sandwiches after that too, burning bro I'll be doing my
thing and that the kitchen.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Man.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
I'm just telling you, my smush burger is a freaking
vibe broh, it really is. That's why I had to
call it smush Brother, smush Burger.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Bam.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
I'm just saying, it's two pros and a cup of
joe here and doing it all live here from the
tire spot.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
What do you uh? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
I don't know, but I'm telling you, my my, my
smush is ridiculous. Brouh, it's ridiculous. Next time I do it,
I'm a FaceTime. You want to show you. I put
it in the tinfoil and everything. When I finish it,
it's amazing. Speaking of which, I figured out a trick
on the oonie. Okay, so I wanted to use it yesterday.

(04:34):
I have no propae though.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Oh man, I figured because you know, the like if
you do pizza at home, like a lot of it
is the crust like that. People say, well, the big
difference between that and like a pizza you would get
from a pizza parlor.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
It's hot enough to burn.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Thats So what I figured out is if you do
the dough and you add the sauce and then put
it in and then add the topping. You put it
in for a little bit, take it out, and then
add the toppings afterwards, and put it in. It cooks
way better and the crust is way better. That's interesting. Yeah,

(05:10):
so I don't try that. I tried that out yesterday.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
You start with just the crust but the crust doesn't
stay melted. I mean, it doesn't stay much down.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
So you do you do the So you put the crust,
after you roll it out, you do your dough, you
put your pizza sauce on. What I like to do
is I put butter on the edge of the crust,
and then you put your pizza sauce on. You put
it in, oh, with just a pizza sauce, pizza sauce.
Then you take it out so it's a little bit brown,

(05:39):
and then you put the toppings on, just a little
bit brown because you don't want to your good. So
you saying light skin. Yeah, basically, okay, it's always better
to do it like that. And then so so that's.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Always add more butter while you're trying to take it
from light skin to dark skin.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
No, I try and keep it as light as possible
because that's always better.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
So you're a.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
You ought to be a shaved of yourself. How dare you?

Speaker 1 (06:18):
All right? So the brackets are out. We're gonna give
you details on how you can come get that work
from members of the show here. But the big one
of the big debates was North Carolina. North Carolina, who
got in people are outraged and angry. You know, there's
close to seventy teams that got in, but man, it's

(06:38):
that one that really really caused the big problem and
the big issue there. So NCAA Men's basketball Vice chair
Keith Gill spoke about the decision to put North Carolina in.
What went into it yesterday. Let's take a listen.

Speaker 7 (06:53):
I had lots of discussions about North Carolina. You know,
Saturday night, we took our final vote and we voted,
and four teams in the field on Saturday night, and
we had a contingency vote, and the contingency vote that
was the last team in the field, and it was
based on Memphis and UAB. If Memphis won that game,

(07:13):
then that was going to free up the spot in
the tournament and that was gonna be North Carolina. If
UAB had won, then Memphis was going to be in
the tournament. UAB would have been in the tournament in
North Carolina would have been the first team out.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
Works for me.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Okay, so she's pretty transparent like that, good good, all
good here, no complaints. The brackets are out, the tournament's here.
Let's just enjoy it, like everybody can, you know, bitch
and moan if they'd like to. But let's just enjoy it.
The brackets here and let's all have a damn good time.
It's like, come on, dude, who cares. It's a big

(07:49):
ass bracket man, and listen.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
You want to get it right because you don't want
a team that is deserving of the opportunity to get
passed up and passed over. But that's got to be
a very very difficult task with all of the programs
that are out there and measuring and weighing, all the
components that are used to measure and wig. I just

(08:11):
think that that's a pretty hard proposition. So but like
you said, I mean, the bracket is set, and I'll
say this, maybe a Cinderella team got left out, got
left off, Maybe a team got in that maybe shouldn't
have been in. One thing I know for certain, the

(08:34):
idea of one of those teams that didn't get selected
them winning at all. Yeah, I probably bet the bank
on it that none of those teams that are sitting
at home right now would have won the tournament. I
do believe every team that has a chance of winning

(08:55):
the NCAA Tournament is in the tournament.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
There they're on the bracket.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
You imagine like like whoever was you know, one of
the first four teams out, like whatever, if you want
to say Ohio State or somebody like that. Imagine like
at the end of this whole thing, Duke's cutting down
the nets and somebody's like, man, I got to tell you,
if Ohio State would have just gotten a chance, they
would have won it all. No, they probably wouldn't have. Okay,

(09:25):
And there's no guarantee North Carolina is going to win
a game.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
They've got the plan.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
They're going to be taking on San Diego State that's
coming up in the South Region. So there's no guarantees
that North Carolina is going to win that game. But
the idea that that one team is really what needs
to what we've got to have the discussion about when
talking about the tournament, Like there's sixty eight teams, God forbid,

(09:54):
one got in that maybe had less of a resume
than the other one. Like it's like, what do we do.
This isn't the college football Playoff, This wasn't the four
team playoff. When people were bitching and moaning about Florida
State not getting in a couple of years ago, like everything's.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
Gonna be all right. Fill out your bracket and shut
the hell up. Set the hell up.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Yeah professional, Oh some people aren't. But I I mean
you would shoot it differently on your private time.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
Well you know, no, I don't know. You know that
you don't go that deep with it. Okay, definitely not
all right? No, no, you're not that angered by I'm
not angry. You know what I'm angered by. And you
were about to do a read.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
But you know what, I'm angered by one of them,
them Eaglitz that I'm upset by it.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
He's not here anymore. I don't know.

Speaker 8 (10:48):
Is it's still up to two? There's still two, there's
still two. One was missing. I don't know if they
exactly what happened.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Oh, you guys are still surprised by that. I wonder
what happened. Every time they pan over to that still shop,
just just smothering them. That fat ass is just laying around,
not doing anything. Go get them food.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
Just smother there's two of them. There's a moment dead
and cool.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
They're both dead beats.

Speaker 5 (11:13):
And it's snowing up there. They need to be warmed up.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Dead beat bald eagles.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Well, now they got their food because they ate brother
or sister.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
Yeah, you know it's missing. We don't know. We don't
know what happened. Which one do we eat? What do
you think of that one? He's out of there? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (11:35):
They should call Bird services and take those kids away
from that mom.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
Hawk about poor parenting? Yeah, dead beat?

Speaker 6 (11:44):
What you do?

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Blow? Blow all the money on booze some drug addict.
Bird can't take care of her kids. We're supposed to
feel bad about them.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Hey, he's been unemployed.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
My man has been unemployed for over six weeks.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Now, shame? Do y'all want a Hamburger?

Speaker 6 (12:07):
Shame? Shame?

Speaker 3 (12:10):
They say, we don't qualify or government assistance? You mean,
aren't we your burg? Are we not Joe Burg? Can
we can we get some Can we get some government
cheese at least?

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Uh? Dang? By the way, hard up here.

Speaker 1 (12:33):

out on Thursday morning, all of a sudden it hit
nine am Pacific time and I realized I hadn't done
half the bracket yet and it closed.

Speaker 4 (13:33):

Speaker 3 (14:09):
What happened? It's the sunlight hitting you. Sunlight messed up? Man,
you see it.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
You guys are vampire racist. That's a problem.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Yeah, oh yeah, it's accurate.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
It's pretty funny. It looked like you. I think I
have that jacket. Now. I would like to give.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
A special shout out to somebody here on the show.
This is you know a lot of people say they
want to win a super Bowl, like they're all about it,
like they really really want to win a super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
I want to give a.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Shout out to the Buffalo Bills. Man, I think the
Buffalo Bills are serious.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
You think they're serious? What makes you think that.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
So much so that they went out and acquired Larry
Ogum Joby and Michael Hoyt this year this offseason. Yeah,
both have been suspended the first six game of the seasons. Yeah,
they gotta pissed hot. So the Bills are at least
looking at this going. Hey, Larry Ogin, Joby, Michael Hoyt

(15:13):
the strongest we know. You're on the gas. But the
fact that you're willing to go to that length to
try and get on this team and and know that
we're serious about winning a super.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Bowl, we support you. Yeah, you know what, and we'll
welcome you back with open arms. And when you get
back a lot of people could sit there and judgment.
Those guys just want it more than you and they're
willing to sacrifice their reputations to try and get Buffalo.
So for the record, here on March seventeen, twenty twenty five,
you've got our support here. There's something out you ain't

(15:48):
trying to right. I mean, some people really subscribe to that.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
By the way, igine' Larry Oogan Joby going up to
Brandon Bean and being like, hey.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
Man, just see you know I pissed.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
Hot like a it's hot, Like hey hey hey, Block
is hot, homie, Brandon Bean, Block is hot.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Well my seat is hot if we don't win a
super Bowl. So we'll just take it and uh and
we'll deal with that later. So, uh so those guys
are gonna be sitting out the first first portion.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
Of next year.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
Can you just cycle Can you cycle off? Guys? Can
we please just cycle off? For for the next six
weeks or something.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
You know, well, who is it, pac Man Jones, He's
the Wizzenator. He talked about that all right. So coming
up next here though from the ti Raq dot Com Studios,
one team in the NFL could be in a way
worse spot than they realized. They might have overplayed their hand.
We'll explain who that is next here on FSR.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and

Oh, Sandford. It is two pros and a cup of
Joe here on Fox Sports.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
Around the corner from Doublin you know, Jonas Knox with you.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
So we are going to have some Lee's Leftovers coming
up in about twenty minutes from now here from the
tire rack dot Com studios. Lee, are you promising us
a special Saint Patty's Day edition of Lee's Leftovers?

Speaker 4 (18:13):
Of course?

Speaker 1 (18:14):
Yeah, yeah, So we are going to going to go
with what the theme is here for the show, So
we'll we'll have that for you again about twenty minutes
from Sports Radio. So we were talking about would be
the very latest congratulations to the Cincinnati Bengals. They lock

(18:34):
up t Higgins and Jamar Chase, they get contracts done
for them. Now we wait to see if Trey Hendrickson
gets a deal done there. Also in the division could
be a little bit of a problem for one team,
and that one team would be the Pittsburgh Steelers. So
Aaron Rodgers According to The Athletic, as we discussed earlier,

(18:56):
he's hoping to sign with the Minnesota Vikings and he
sees making an annual salary in the range of Sam Darnolds.
The Vikings are strongly weighing the possibility of Rogers. They
also note that if Minnesota turns down Rogers, there's a
possibility he could just retire as opposed to playing for
either of the Giants or the Steelers.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
The Steelers, so what.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
Does that say about you Giants and Steelers? Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
The Steelers.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Reportedly in another report, lowball Justin Fields thinking they could
get him on the cheap, and they didn't, so they
moved off of Russ because Arthur Smith apparently was not
a fan and was not not liking the idea of
bringing back Russell Wilson. Him and Arthur Smith did not
get along last year, reportedly, so they moved on from

(19:43):
Russell Wilson. They lowballed Justin Fields, and now they're all
in on Aaron Rodgers, and if he passes, they've probably
already burned the bridge, so they can't bring Russell Wilson back.
So the question becomes, then, what.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
You gotta go after? Kirk cousins.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
I guess I guess you're gonna look at You're gonna
look at rog You're gonna be like, look, Russ, we
didn't want you, but now we do. And listen, nobody
else wants you. So uh, let's just try to make
this thing work. Like, let's be amicable, and let's try
to make this thing work, you know, for another year,

(20:23):
give us another year that could be.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
But what ends up happening.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
With everything that's come out on this, Like I think
Russ if Rogers decides either Minnesota or he retires.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
I think Russ would just go to the Giants.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Like they they had, you know, they met. This is
two years in a row they've met. I think he
would just go to the Giants.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
Here's the pro the Steelers are screwed.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Why haven't you just signed Russell Wilson if you're.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
If you are the New York Giants is they're waiting
on Rogers? He's why? But but why wait?

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Like, here's the thing, right, if you have an opportunity
to get the bird in the hand, why would you
look at the other bird that you're waiting for that
you might not get Because the bird that you could
possibly have in your hand is possibly going to disappear
while you're looking at the other one trying to wait

(21:18):
for it to get in and reaching, you know, arms
reach distance of you.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
I just I think that I'd be worse.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
You could be laying under some fat ass balled eagle dying,
end up dying the next day. I just I just
don't think that it's wise at this point. If all
the reports which I would say.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
I'm going to lean on the side of I'm going
to err on the side of caution in this scenario.
If Russell Wilson is my second option, he needs to
become my first option. And the reason why he needs
to become my first option is because if I have
been trying to sign you as a team and I

(21:59):
haven't ain't you yet, chances are I'm probably not going
to get you. And now I got a mad dash
for the option that I you know, I had as
my second or third option to begin with. Now I'm curious,
are the are are the Giants as keen on on

(22:22):
Russell Wilson, As you say he went and visited the
New York Giants.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
Yes, yeah, two years in a row. The New York.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
Giants did what when he visited, they allowed him to leave.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
Yeah, So to me, you know the the you already
know what it is.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
Even if you're saying because I'm gonna say this Aaron
Rodgers to me at this point in his career, I'm not.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
I'm not going to get carried away on the Oh
my gosh to Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Sweepstakes like it's it's cool. The market is trying to
show itself, it's trying to be a thing. I don't
really think it's as much of a thing as media
is making it out to be. I really don't. You're
not going to get Sam Darnold money. You're not going

(23:17):
to get I do not believe Aaron Rodgers is going
to get that contract from from from them. Oh wows
a lot of air from your your lungs there?

Speaker 4 (23:29):
Did you hit? Did you? Was it successful? Miss miss
utter than me? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (23:34):
I do, and I would do it better in that situation.
I just I don't. I don't personally buy into the
Aaron Rodgers hype. And I know if Q was here,
and if Q's listening, say travels to you, he's sitting there,
He's like, oh my gosh, I disagree. I disagree, and
I'm going to come into the show and I'm going

(23:55):
to disagree with it tomorrow, which is fine. If everybody
sitting here and they're basing what they're doing off of
Aaron Rodgers, and this report surfaces the way that it
has that it's it's Minnesota or bus. Why are you
not aggressively going after because teams can create markets too,

(24:18):
all right? Why are you not aggressively going after Kirk Cousins.
Why are you not aggressively going after Russell Wilson. You
brought him in, you brought him in for an interview,
You brought him in.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
Why you let him leave?

Speaker 6 (24:33):
You know?

Speaker 1 (24:33):
I do wonder also on the kirk Cousins side of
it for Atlanta, I'll bet that's why Atlanta held on
to him. I mean, why not because kirk Cousins's value.
His ten million dollar roster bonus hit on Saturday, and
the thinking would be like, well, you already got Michael Panics,
he's not going to play, why would you want to
pay him ten more million dollars?

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Well, you were going to release him?

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Like they're looking around, going, dude, there's there's two, at
least two or three.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
There's at least two three teams that could you a
starting quarterback, a starting caliber quarterback.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Like let's just say, let's say Pittsburgh wiffs on Rogers,
wiffs on Russell Wilson.

Speaker 4 (25:09):
Because they burn the bridge.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
They already low ball justin fields, Like what like, what
options do you have?

Speaker 4 (25:15):
Right?

Speaker 1 (25:17):
I really don't know. Like we're like, now you're looking
at going, I don't know, do you do you hit
up the Saints and say, hey, what about Derek Carr?
Like we know he's got a year left and you guys,
you know, if that's no, then Kirk Cousins what.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
I feel like, now you you know, now you're starting
to get into that realm of now you're you're reaching
really desperate, you're really reaching. Yeah, you know, and that's
like to me and listen, we don't bring up Tennessee
a ton, but Tennessee is probably still in the conversation
of are they taking a quarterback? Has it gotten quiet
for them because they'd rather take a quarterback in the

(25:52):
draft versus trying to find one in free agency because
it's such slim pickings.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
That's what That's what I've every report I've seen is
saying that it's more than likely they're going to go
ahead and draft cam Ward that he's going to be
the guy that goes uh.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
The over odds are overwhelming.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
He's going to go number one and it's going to
be the Titans that are that are taking him. And
so then all of a sudden, you're sitting there at
Cleveland at two. Do you just go Abdul Carter or
do you.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Mean Abdul Carter and Miles Garrett on the same team
is pretty sick. Who did they bring in as a quarterback?

Speaker 4 (26:25):
Again? Who who's the guy they just signed? Not too
long it? Can he pick it? Can he be the
guy in Cleveland? I don't know. I don't think so.
I mean it does you know, maybe maybe they go
shud or Sanders, Maybe they do, you think? I just
I don't like the way that he's being you know, for.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
Trade, Yeah, tired of it. You're listening to our show,
weren't you? What do you mean go for you?

Speaker 4 (26:49):
What do you mean? I mean? It's okay to be
a fan, It's okay.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
I just I don't like that conversation. I don't like
the way that he's being being discussed. You know, I
feel like there's other things going on there with us.
Uh yeah, you know, I think it's a.

Speaker 4 (27:05):
Like what what do you think? Like what.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
If this man is sitting here saying that he's going
to retire if he doesn't get picked up by the
Minnesota Vikings? My question is, why are you another team
waiting on him? Why are you waiting to see what
he does? Like they don't want you? You sure you
don't you sure you don't want to come play for us?
They don't want you.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
You know, who's actually in a better spot in this scenario?
Who is the Giants? I think the Giants turned in
a better spot than the Steelers from this standpoint.

Speaker 4 (27:40):
If you're the.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Giants at this point, you're looking around going, yeah, whatever, listen,
if he comes here, he comes here, that's why. Look,
we know what the reality is. Like, we're where of
the situation. We know what's going on. We'll go to Russ.
Like that's fine. Listen, we'd like to have Rogers, but
if not him, will go with Russ. You know, like
that's fine, no problem. The Steelers are in a division

(28:01):
where they're trying to keep pace and everybody else around
them outside of Cleveland looks like they're a legitimate Super
Bowl contender, and Pittsburgh's this fringe playoff team that now
just got worse at quarterback this offseason because they overplayed
their hand and now they're desperate hoping.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
That an This's crazy because they played their hand last
year and got two and everybody's like, oh my gosh,
they got two starting quarterbacks.

Speaker 4 (28:32):
Now they about basically have zero.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
And I guess Mike Tomlin was all about Russell Wilson,
but Arthur Smith had a conversation with him and that's
why they pivoted towards going the direction of I mean.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
What is the dude knowing that's making people do that.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
Again, people may not overstated or emphasize it very much,
but if you really wanted Russell Wilson, you would not
have allowed him to leave New York without him signing
a deal. He would have did a physical, you would

(29:13):
have announced that he's signing with the New York Giants.
This says to me, it screams to me, you're interested,
but you're not so interested where he's a must have
guy for your team, and if he's not a must
have guy for your team, and you really are holding

(29:35):
out on this whole. Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes deal. To me,
I don't know. I don't know what what the what
it looks like for Russell Wilson moving forward, because I
feel like that's pretty damning and.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
Is there the opportunity.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
I feel like there should be the opportunity for him
to possibly return back to Pittsburgh. And if that's not
the case, then that tells you. I mean again, I
think that just tells you a lot about him that
the talent now does not outweigh other. Whatever you want
to make. We could speculate what other is. I don't

(30:13):
care to today, but other is other, and you would
have to say that other outweighs talent with Russell Wilson
at this point.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
Literally Hall of Famer, a journeyman in five years.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
And like, let's like not not desire like not overly
desirable journeyman too, Like I could see if you were
like a desirable like man, you know, Aaron Rodgers has
to be considered a journeyman.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
Now you're slow to drawdida. No, I'm not. I'm not.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
I'm focused on doing this radio show. You over here
shooting weapons, bro, you pull yourself together, Yeah, you got

Uh yeah, Far and Away? You ever seen that movie
Far and Away with Tom Cruise? Yeah, I heard that
those fight scenes were actually somewhat real because they wanted
to make it seem as legit as possible.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
So some of the scarringers and the joints look real too.

Speaker 4 (32:41):

These might smell a little funk cake.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
What is that? That sounds incredible?

Speaker 2 (33:06):
But they're still good. Time to find out what's lack?
It's Lee's lap, Joe sor.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
Right the lap? What do we got? Well? That's right?

Speaker 8 (33:14):
Happy Saint Patrick's stay to everybody out there where everyone
can be considered themselves a little bit of Irish? Did
you realize that Saint Patrick's Day is the holiday that's
celebrated in more countries than any other holiday?

Speaker 4 (33:26):
Didn't know that it's an excuse to drink?

Speaker 5 (33:28):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 8 (33:30):
In fact, it wasn't always you know, it's not always
a day just for drinking and feasts. Obviously it's about
the Saint Patrick, the Saint of Ireland. But did you
realize that the first ever parade for Saint Patrick's Day
was actually here in America?

Speaker 4 (33:44):
Really?

Speaker 5 (33:44):
Yeah, out in Florida.

Speaker 8 (33:46):
Actually, even though New York technically has the biggest Saint
Patrick's Day parade, there is out there, but it wasn't
until the nineteen hundreds. Well, it was sixteen oh one,
was the first ever parade for Saint Patrick's Day?

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Now, is New York bigger than Chicago? The Chicago does
the river green? They do that all up.

Speaker 5 (34:04):
They do consider the New York bigger.

Speaker 8 (34:05):
Yes, interesting, but yes, Chicago might be more memorable because
of the.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
River of course.

Speaker 8 (34:12):
All right, so yeah, I've already had my green beer.
I've actually already had my whiskey of Patty Patty's whiskey.
And wait, what my one of my whiskeys I go
to is it's called Patty's Whiskey P A D D.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
Why No, why do you go to that whiskey?

Speaker 5 (34:27):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (34:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (34:28):
It's always been. It's been my go to for a while.

Speaker 8 (34:31):
Is it a H I used to have an embargo
on it, so it was like kind of a good
talking piece because you couldn't get it here in the
States for.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
Quite a while, was illegal to have it.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Is it a cheaper option than the standard whiskey you get?
Now that's actually a little more Wow, Yeah, it must
be nice.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
It is nice. Yeah, and you did you had that
this morning?

Speaker 1 (34:51):
No?

Speaker 5 (34:51):
I had that on Saturday, late Saturday night.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
The old green beer thing, it just, first of all,
anybody that works at a bar, the green beer is
a pain in the ass, especially if you're like the
bus boy, the bar back having to clean the glass
were because they put the food dye in it, the coloring.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
Next thing, you know, it spills everywhere. It's all.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
I'm not into it. I'm not really into it. I'm
not into green eggs and the ham. I will not
have them, not here, not there, not anywhere.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
What about green pancakes?

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Nope, macaroni and cheese. Nope, you do green macaroni and cheese.

Speaker 4 (35:28):
You've never seen that?

Speaker 6 (35:29):
No?

Speaker 4 (35:30):
Yeah, well yeah, nope, it won't happen.

Speaker 8 (35:36):
What else you get, Well, we were just talking Steelers
and who they're going to go with at quarterback, whether
it could be Russell.

Speaker 4 (35:44):
Did you see how hard we was partying?

Speaker 3 (35:46):
Took a whole front of a building down, a house
down on a block party for St.

Speaker 4 (35:51):
Patty's Day yesterday.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
Yeah, so anyway, go ahead, Well though, that might be
what he was, No was in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 5 (36:00):
Pittsburgh will be playing in Dublin this year.

Speaker 8 (36:01):
They're gonna be playing the first ever regular season NFL
game in Dublin. Don't know yet exactly who they're gonna
be facing anything. It could be the Packers. That'd be interesting.
Aaron Rodgers playing for the Steelers versus the Packers in Dublin.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
Yeah, that could be.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
That could be a good time. I look, we were
out there. I think it was a Viva Stadium. Is
the one that was like fifty thousand people.

Speaker 4 (36:24):
There's another one. I think it's Croke Park. That's where
it's gonna be.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Yeah, the other one that that's got a bigger capacity
because the last time the NFL was there. I think
it was Steelers Bears in a preseason game in like
was it ninety eight or something like that, ninety seven.
It's been a long time, but but Art Rooney has
always said, I want to get back out to Ireland
like that.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
That's been a goal. So the Steelers are ship me
up to Ireland.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
Whoa ship me back to Ireland?

Speaker 4 (36:53):
Whoa ay Lee?

Speaker 1 (36:55):
If you had a Guinness since you got back from Ireland, yeah,
plenty of times.

Speaker 5 (36:59):
Okay, always try to at the gang.

Speaker 4 (37:04):
Do you know that?

Speaker 7 (37:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (37:05):
Split the g?

Speaker 1 (37:06):
Yes, But would you explain that to people listening that
maybe are not familiar.

Speaker 8 (37:10):
So when you order a Guinness, it obviously comes with
a Guinness glass, it's got the it's got the logo
on there. And the goal is to take your first
chug of your Guinness and when it when you place
it back down right at the line, has to split
the g.

Speaker 5 (37:26):
Yeah, and the gap in the g.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
It's like a it's like a game. And what makes
it hard is the foam and the cream right on top.
So you have to like you've got a really it's
actually takes a little bit of a skill.

Speaker 8 (37:40):
Yeah, And if you're at a decent Irish pub, They'll
give you the drink for free if you can do it,
They'll give you the guinness for free.

Speaker 4 (37:47):
Are you going to partake in Saint Patti's Day? Because
you are a little bit judgmental?

Speaker 8 (37:51):
When I asked you about I usually call it amateur hour,
same with Sego de Mayo, kind of stay away from
the crowds.

Speaker 4 (37:56):
Is gonna get what?

Speaker 5 (37:57):
You're gonna charge me.

Speaker 8 (37:58):
An entrance fee and over charge me for drinks that
I normally had the day before.

Speaker 4 (38:03):
Now I'm good. Places aren't charging an entrance fee? Are they?
A lot of places do? Yeah? Really? Oh yeah on
Saint Patty's Day?

Speaker 1 (38:09):
Uh huh, you gotta pay a cover charge to go
and do an Irish bar in Saint Patty's.

Speaker 8 (38:13):
A lot of places do it, yep, because they know
you'll pay why and then they'll give you like half
the half the sized glass of a beer glass. They'll
give you like the plastic cups instead of a regular pike.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
Well, yeah, I mean people are people are butchered. You
know you want to drop glass where everywhere? Not to
deal about that? Interesting? What about food item? Are you
going corn beef and cabbage.

Speaker 5 (38:38):
Yeah, if I could get my hands on it.

Speaker 8 (38:40):
I had a corn beef hash sliders. I didn't get any.
I think there was cabbage on it. Yeah. Yeah, at
the good Night they were serving those up, some sliders.

Speaker 4 (38:50):
Yeah it was good. Are you gonna you're gonna do
your own corn beef and cabbage? I think I will, Yeah,
I think I will. You need help with that?

Speaker 3 (39:00):
No, I don't need your help. Damn No, I'll be good.
And I'm going probably, uh, you know I'm gonna do.
I'm a crock pottom. I'm gonna go do as soon
as I'm gonna stop. I'm gonna get me some cabbage,
some cornby and I'm a crock potted potatoes too, a
crockpott it carrots, I don't know about carrots.

Speaker 4 (39:21):
Aren't you throwing some serranos? Spice it up a little bit?
Maybe onions for certain? Yeah, throw some.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
Onions in there, you know, I might even I might
even throw some noodles in there, really, I might. You
know what that book makes it? That's that plushi?

Speaker 4 (39:40):
Look it up?

Speaker 2 (39:42):
Ray?

Speaker 1 (39:42):
Ray?

Speaker 4 (39:42):
Are you gonna get butchered? For Saint Patty's there?

Speaker 2 (39:45):
No?

Speaker 5 (39:45):
Only in my dreams Jonas.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
I'll be sleeping all day, okay, all right, well, happy
Saint Patty's dad.

Speaker 4 (39:50):
Everybody, be safe. Don't drink and drive. We'll do it again, right,
Be safe, we'll talk to you.
