(00:25):
and what his legacy is and what the hell was
really going on with Lebron James, JJ Redick and the Lakers.
Plus we're going to talk some NFL stuff, the same old,
same old. The latest on Bill Belichick and other hater
is step to the Forefront. We've got the Shador Sanders,
speculation about why he fell, what it looks.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Like moving forward in Cleveland.

We got a new show open.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I did want to let you guys know I am
currently working on a banger of a song to open up.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Wait, so I got a new song in. You haven't
got a new.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Song in yet? No, I can deciding between two or three.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
It took you that long.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah, okay, it's gotta be right, Yeah, gotta be right,
be right, you know, alight?

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Oh boy, right throwing yourself? Yeah? What up? Var? What up? Sticks?
What a var? Good morning, guys.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Congratulations obviously the the big game last night the Winnipeg Jets.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Congratulations, what a game. Unbelievable. Tell me I like hockey.
I just didn't see it.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Winnipeg tied it on a deflection with one point six
seconds left, and uh, and then won it in overtime,
double overtime, So it was fantastic. But there was also
the Game seven, which saw the Golden State Warriors beat
the Houston Rockets, and uh, game was pretty simple for me.
Three beats too. Whoever shooting the three ball well nowadays

(02:47):
in the.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
NBA, that'll be that one hundred. That's it. Houston couldn't
hit a three.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
They hit, you know, half their three point total in
garbage time. Other than that, Golden State was hot led
by Buddy Healed, and.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
That was pretty much the story of the game. I
mean out of nowhere too. Buddy came out of nowhere.
You know. I don't think Steph Curry had a three
pointer in the first quarter of the game. I think
he didn't. I don't think he hit one. They were
off coming out as well, So Buddy he Healed. I

(03:21):
think it is is that how you say, yeah, buddy, yeah,
just you know, he picked up a lot of the slack.
But they ended up, they ended up speeding up and
ended up starting to make make their shots. I mean,
the usual suspects still were what they needed to be
in the game. I just think that it was experienced
that won over the youth of of Houston, and and

(03:47):
it makes me feel like that might be the theme
of the rest of the way, Like I think it's
going to be possibly experienced that that maybe wins out
over over a young talent. So I feel like Oklahoma
could be maybe in oh, you know, trouble. They could
be in a tough situation. Is this a sticks pick?

(04:08):
I mean, they could be in a tough situation and
and and you know, I think that I think any
team that has experience. Now I'm going with from front
you are you a.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Little gun shy after the big Jimmy Butler proclamation all that, No,
because I mean, honestly, like if you look at this, right,
but if you look at the series as a total,
the one game he didn't play the Golden State Horse
to care business easily.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Well, they still went to seven games, and they right.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Because he came back and he was involved in the restigators.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
That's correct, and they he had twenty points and in
some very critical point he had like.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Yeah, but they needed Buddy Heel, they needed some of
the other pieces around ste.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
You know, he closed them out. He puts six. He
went on a six to ozer run against them in
the fourth quarter when they it it was a critical
point in the game.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Did they they do that?

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yeah, I mean he went on a six ozer run
by itself in the fourth and it.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Was still yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Sure, But all right, well, I mean, hey, you got it.
Go ahead, you give me your analysis. I'm just telling you.
I'll just tell you what I think about it. That's
all I mean, my bag. You you you tell me
what it's all about. Because I definitely think that if
they don't have Jimmy Butler, they do not win the series.
And in fact, if they didn't have Jimmy Butler, if

(05:31):
they don't have them moving forward, I don't think they
have a chance. But that's just me.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
I mean, you tell me, and I would say that
I still think they got a chance.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Like just like in the series when you made this
great proclamation and it came out beat Houston, I still
think they have a chance. I think we underestimate not
only the pieces around Steph Curry, but we underestimate the
fact that this is still a team that's won championships
even without having to have a Batman of Robin scenario
if you want to call it that, or a one

(06:00):
two punch like Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry, So I
still give them a chance.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
I'm not saying they're gonna be Oklahoma City, but I'm
not counting them out. Because of what Jonahs said, this
league has had to adapt to Steph Curry and Steph
Curry has been the best in the past decade as
far as shooting threes and getting other teams have to
play their game, which is if you can match them

(06:24):
shooting threes or catch them on a bad shooting night,
yeah you can. You can catch them, you can get them.
But I mean last night wasn't even their best shooting night,
but they still ended up and the end of the
day making more threes than Houston did. And that's kind
of become what, unfortunately the NBA has become is the
team that shoots the most, makes the most threes, usually

(06:45):
ends up winning the game. So I always give them
a puncher's chance in every matchup because of Steph and
because of how this team has been constructed to be
able to support out around him. So it was it
was a good series, though it really was. Houston's got
a lot to build onto in the future.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
That's for sure, I give Golden State a chance because
they can shoot. I don't disagree with that. But if
we're talking having the opportunity to beat a team like
Houston and to actually have a chance against which will
be interesting to see, can they match how well do
they match up against the Timberwolves, even though I'm gonna

(07:22):
take experience, as long as they're healthy, as long as
Jimmy B is playoff P or playoff B is healthy,
I think that they have a chance against Minnesota. But
I think that's gonna be a tough one for them.
I feel like that's one I'm conflicted on. But you know,

(07:43):
you gotta have you gotta have a little bit more
than just shooting. You gotta have more. You gotta have
you gotta have defense, you gotta have rebounding. There are
some other elements that you do have to have. I mean,
they had to survive were shooting during the course of
that that game early on, and it was I mean,

(08:04):
it was fairly close. You know, it was a it
was a well played game in the second in the
third quarter, and you had an unsung hero step up
and step in for them. But I think there should
be some concerns for Golden State moving forward. I see
some holes and what it is that they got going on.

(08:25):
And if you're gonna live by the three, you're gonna
have to die buy it three as well. And if
they don't have a great evening every single time they
go out, I mean, if those other elements are deficient
in what they bring to the table, I don't know
if they can. I don't know if they can get
out of this next this next series.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
I mean, I personally think both of you guys are
wrong because if you listen to Buddy Healed here, he's
talking about spirit animals. He's talking about emotional meetings before
game seven.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Just take a listen. Yesterday I me get to Houston.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
We had a very emotional meeting with led by Draymond
and I Steph and Jimmy and uh. From from then,
I was just locked in and just skeep my spirit
together and it's just like this. The meeting we had
was just like just better get everybody chills, and we
know when it's when they go to battle, we know
what that means. And uh, the meeting was well well needed.

(09:17):
Game sixty was not locked in. We we were, you know,
Dre Drey put all the blame on him just getting
hiself nothing. You see him today, he was not freaking
with the rats. He didn't mesten nobody. He was just
being Draymond Green, all defensive player. He's our team leader,
he's our spirit animal, and uh he was. He was
there for us and today and uh he just just
fallowed that lead, you know, and we know how much
this game meant for them, and we just collectively had

(09:39):
a meeting and me just figured it out.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
There. You go that.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Mike, don't think he sounds like Mike.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Who was who was just taking in Like you know,
his commentary post game.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
You're listening to his accent from He's from the Bahamas's Caribbean.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
He sounds like Mike Tyson.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
I'm just saying, yeah, tripped out man, You.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Don't think so?

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Not quite, But I mean I could see where you're
coming from. Go ahead, play it again, skills. Now everybody's
heard it. Let's here one more. Well, he's from Tyson,
so we can compare the Let's compare. Let's compare. Here's
Mike Tyson was his heart. I'm the best ever.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
I'm the most brutal in Michigan, most ruthless, champion has
ever been my style of the pet you with.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
My defense is impregnable and I'm just from rokeit. I
want your heart. I want to eat your children. Jeez.
Yesterday gonna get to Houston.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
We had a very emotional meeting was led by Draymond
and Steph and Jimmy and uh. From from then, I
was just locked in and just keep.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
My spirit together.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
And it's just like this. The meeting we had was
just like just better get everybody chills, and we know
when it's when they go to bout. We know what
that means. And uh, the meeting was well well needed.
Gaed in.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
I was going to rip his hard. I'm the best ever.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Buddy hild to do a hell of a Mike Tyson.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
I think Buddy healed is Mike Tyson when he started
microdos like I think that's what it is. When he
when he when he let go of all that anger
and just started to relax.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
That's that's more Buddy healed. So I mean, I can't
go with this with you guys on this journey, but
why not Because I can't. I just I don't. I
just don't. I don't agree.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
But gez all right, I didn't notice at what At
what point is Draymond Green just going to acknowledge I
knew exactly what I was doing and I was trying
to hit him in the face when I did it.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Why would he do that though?

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Just but is anybody, Look, he's been kicked out of
big games before. We know what happened in the finals
against the Calves, like we.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
More often than not, though, he makes it to the
end of the game. That's my point. I'm looking at it,
so that's I mean, but that's what I'm saying. So
it's like he doesn't have to tell you the obvious.
He makes it to the end of the game more
often than not, so he knows exactly how far he
can take it.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
How many times is he going to flail his legs
and arms out jack somebody?

Speaker 2 (12:25):
He jacked dude up in the face.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Mike, and then look around and go watch you play
good defense against.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Me, slap It's every game.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
It's been going on for a decade, every game, and
then they love him for it.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Like you get to the end of the game, you
see all the guys hugging on him and stuff like that,
and I'd be like, I'll see you in the tunnel player,
like all that actually you did? You're doing on his court?
I want to see if you a real tough guy
for real. Didn't Tristan Thompson go after him at a club?
Did he? I heard about that. I think I heard
something like laugh or want no smoke in the club.

(13:02):
Can you look that up? Just another Tristan Thomas Caribbean.
I'm pretty certain he's just making sweet anyway. I'm sure
he sounds like Mike Tyson too. But I'll say, you know,
with with Draymond, he is he serves his purpose, man.

(13:23):
I mean, he was trying to hit some timely three pointers.
Couldn't do it, could make them. I knew.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
I knew they were going to win the game when
he hit the first three, Like, okay, it's that, that's
time of night.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
How what was he won? One for what on the night?
One for that was the only one he probably that's
all he needed. Oh my god, he is not very much.
I mean he played, I don't know. I think he
scored the first five points. I was like, yeah, they're
good at this point. I think Draymond is the spirit
animal that drives them. I agree with with that assessment.

(13:57):
I think the sentimental value that Draymond brings to the
table is way more valuable than the tangible skills and
the what you got, what you got, Lee, what you got.

Speaker 6 (14:09):
I'm reading up on the fight at an l A
nightclub in twenty eighteen between Trists and Thomson and Draymond Green.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Well, what were the details I'm coming up on it.

Speaker 6 (14:19):
Uh, Delilah's Delilah's Uh.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
Yeah, oh yeah to your table.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Yeah. They got a magician there in the center on
top of the Yeah. All I know is neither wanted them.
Wanted no smoke in LA with Willie Mack though, I'll
just say, yeah, they don't want that. That's that real pressure.
Is that the same place? No, I don't know. I
don't know. It's possible. I don't know where they were

(14:53):
long and strong all I must just stop.

Speaker 6 (14:58):
Everyone says it was a sucker punch by Top said,
but nobody had phones because it was a lebron party
where everyone's phones are taken away.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
And I think, which is similar to a divvy party.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Right, yep, very yikes, they're going to take your phones away?

Speaker 3 (15:12):
Was let's not let's not misinterpret that where they take
your phones.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Was there was there, baby oil there Jesus, it is
going all the way all right there, Hey listen, let's
swim in the mud. Give me a snorkel. I'm in
let's go. Okay, twenty five K per slat player.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
And I think, by the way, I think that fight
was because of something Draymond said during one of their
finals matchups or something like that, when Golden State and
Cleveland played each other.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Like I'm telling you there had why wait so long?
There have been plenty of times just I'm telling you,
cats go right in the tunnel because more often than not,
you know, guys meet up with the families. That's my
homie from college. Da da da. Let's go get some
Some places have tailgates for you after the game. You
go get some food. Talk da da da be where

(16:13):
you get on the bus, gotta go fly out or
whatever it is cats really be meeting now. Probably Q
has never been a part of seeing or witnessing or
understanding anything like this because quarterbacks are a little different.
They're a little bit more elevated than we.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
All the hell. That means I've been in clubs witness fights.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
No, No, I'm talking, he does. I'm talking when the
game is over. When the families are meeting, they're actually
be dudes that be like be rolling on one another.
I remember having I will I'll leading with the person
nameless and I don't even know why I even was
there to be a part of this. I was moral support.

(16:56):
But we went and stood outside their locker room door
and was waiting for the smoke. And we would have
got hurt because it was two unless that the other
dudes was like, I'm a pro, I'm not getting involved
in this whatever, Da da da. I will say it
was the Ravens, though, I will say it was the
Ravens that and I mean it got pretty interesting. It

(17:21):
happens quite a bit, though, Man, I'm telling you post
game fights in the tunnels or or or scuffles and
and and dust stuff. They happened more often than people think.
I'm I'm just telling you do some crazy stuff like
like spit at me or anything like that, Like we
gotta get it. I'm sorry, on on manhood, on my name,

(17:45):
we gotta get it. I'm not I'm not walking away
from that on mine, on mine, on him, we gotta
get it. I don't care. I don't care if you
spit by accident something like that. We gotta get it.
What about gleeking, Nope, there's any type of Yeah, you

(18:08):
guys remember that, and people are really good at it too.
You remember that. Yes, I know what gleeking is and
people are good at it all right.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
So for people that are not familiar with gleeking, back
in the day, you used to be able to take
your tongue and push it towards the bottom of your
tongue towards your top teeth, and you could shoot saliva.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
I could only I could only do it if I
ate like something sour or something like. I couldn't. I
couldn't do it on like.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Yeah, it's like, uh like some long lost reptilian sort
of g you have from back in the day where
people could just start gleeking, gleaking for whatever reason.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Gleeking and blowing bubbles. Never been able to do those things.
Can't do it, Like dudes could blow bubbles. I never
understood that with gum or No, we're just they're they're
they're just what they got. They could blow bubbles. Never
understood it, like off their tongue. Yeah, I don't know
what type of germs or whatever it is. You need

(19:06):
to be able to to form a bubble in your mouth.
But anyways, that's off the beaten path. Ass can get
beat after games based off of the stuff that Draymond
Green does. And I'm just so blown away that I've
never heard of more scuffles with him post game. He must,

(19:27):
I mean, he must really kind of be that dude
to them basketball players, man, because you can't do like
he kicked the man in his head in the one
game he kicked his head all the way into the ground,
into the court and then looks like what happened. I
don't know what happened. What happened, Like, i'mna show you
what happened, you, so pitch show you what happened.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Something tells me if he does that with Anthony d Or,
it's there's gonna be ah, you think you're gonna go.
I just think I think he'll he'll let it be known.
He's not gonna just look around at the ref for
He's gonna let it be known. He'll he'll talk about
a post game like he's not gonna be shy about it.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
For whatever reason, they allowed him to push Lebron James.
So I just feel like anybody can get it especially,
And and don't you think the referees would kind of
be excited to see somebody actually hittingim back. I mean, honestly,
it'd be the Anthony Edwards beat a hitt him back,
and they'd be like, we're gonna let that one go,
Like what we didn't see it? They had the nerve

(20:29):
to flail his arms to him, be like, where's the foul?

Speaker 1 (20:32):
Listen, draam, and he followed through I don't know what
to tell you, simple flailing.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
What did you say? Did he punched you in the
in the doll? Like where when let's go to the replay. Nope,
don't see it. That's amazing, man, Paul on out of
the side at this point, you're like, all right, that's
just he's grandfathered in.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
He could just do it. Ever he once it is

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here, come
it up.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
We are going.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
We are going to celebrate one of the great moment
what we've seen in quite some time in the world
of sports out of be yours here a little over
fifteen minutes from now, you know, as we sit here
and wait, as we sit here in wait to find
out whether or not Aaron Rodgers is going to sign
a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Until that story is resurrected,

(22:18):
the story that keeps on giving in the world of
football and beyond is Bill Belichick's love life, so much
so that Peter King, former NFL reporter, was on with
Richard Ditsch and had this to say about Bill Belichick,
the situation and his sit down interview with CBS.

Speaker 8 (22:38):
This is a guy who owned every room he ever
walked into, and now she's got a twenty four year
old muse telling him what to do or telling or
trying to control situations that quite frankly, she has nothing
to do with, or should have nothing to do with.
Bill's got to get a hold of himself here, He's

(23:00):
got to get a hold of this situation. This is embarrassing.
How about Bill Belichick, to promote a book, goes on
Sunday morning television with a sweatshirt on with a hole
in it.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
So that from a fashion icon Peter King talking about
Bill Bellichi.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
What does Peter King know? I mean, stude built this,
stude build up a reputation for being well known for
basically speculating half the time, stretching the truth the other half.
And he's out of the game now, So what's the
point and why does he care? Like, like, why can't
you let Bill Belichick who's worn a hoodie a cutoff

(23:46):
hardy a cut hoodie to some extent his entire career
as a coach, And so what do you want to
do have him dress up in a shirt and tie
and a jacket.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
He doesn't even know the context of that interview.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Half the time, you know, these coaches are either like
coming out of the office or coming from a practice
or something else that was going on. I mean, so,
was he upset that he didn't wear a students high
for it? I don't really understand, considering he probably doesn't
know all the details. Yeah, he's speaking on it once
again because oh I'm Peter King. I'm Peter King. Okay,

(24:24):
I got no beef with PK. But what I will
say is he does come off like a tool.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
It was a toolistic approach because she had everything to
do with it. If the guy didn't double down on
questions on asking about her and their relationship within the interview,
which they are well within their rights to be able
to respond the way that they want to respond, how
can you say she has nothing to do with it?

(24:51):
And then secondly, she's clearly been put in a situation
where she's helping maybe build his image and this new era,
this new day and age. I mean, maybe that is
the reason why he deals with her, is that she
sees the world differently than he does. He's in college,
he's coaching college guys. Now he's not just coaching, you know,

(25:15):
pros anymore. He's coaching young men. And for what is
worth you happen to be dating a young woman, a
younger woman. There are things, there are elements, whether people
want to acknowledge it or not, that are to the
detriment of older people as it applies to the relative
relativity and the relating with younger generations of people. So

(25:40):
at the end of the day, there's something about her
other than the what people would say the obvious, that
really really is attractive to him. That's his business, that's
her business. And at some point you got to get
to a place where you move on from trying to
kind of delve in and and dig into the men's

(26:01):
personal business. But that's what we do with our celebrities, though,
I mean, that's a part of it. They did it
with Tom Brady and Giselle as well. I mean they've
been successful, They've done a lot of winning, and I
mean that's it, it's a part of it, I guess.
I mean didn't Robert Craft. Robert Kraft married a young
lady too, Like I think she's like twenty years some

(26:22):
something crazy younger than them as well. So maybe, you know,
maybe it's a thing from you know, the Patriots. They
like younger women's.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
Man. There's this report from page six over the weekend
from the New York Post that said that his girlfriend
forced her way into the Dunkin Donuts commercial. I guess
during the Super Bowl. Now, I don't even remember the
commercial that well. I was more focusing on the Rocket
mortgage commercial.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
You want to know why I remember from the commercial?
By the way, though, Well her, why why?

Speaker 4 (26:53):
I'm just saying, like, trust me, I don't I don't
think the people at Duncan were like, oh, yeah, we
don't want her in this, like get her out of this.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
She should be a part of this, all right.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
They're pretty pretty sure.

Speaker 4 (27:05):
The director was like, oh, you want to be in too, Yeah,
we'd love to have you, Like yeah, but sure, of course,
come being the commercial.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
It's ah, I did see it, I don't recall it.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
I don't know if I don't know if you have
to see the commercial to kind of understand where I'm
going with this.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
One. She doesn't.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
She doesn't, she doesn't even speak. She's like pumping her
fist in the background, and she's hot.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Who cares like this? This whole thing has been so
blown out of proportion, really has, And I think part
of it is because people think that now now we
see who Belichick really is.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
No, you just you're still bitter or pissed about whatever
he did in New England and they had success and
they were dominant, and so now we got to turn
this stuff up like I'm more I swear to god,
I'm fascinated to see how it works at North Carolina.
That should be the story, like, how's that gonna work
at North Carolina? How is how is he gonna work
work at that level? And instead, you know, you get

(28:02):
inundated with all this crap about his dating life and
him dating some girl who's fifty years younger than him.
God bless him, he was able to pull it off.
There's people in their mid twenties who couldn't pull her off.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
And he did. So interesting. It's par for the course nowadays,
is it power for the course?

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Yeah? It is, because there's apparently there's nothing else going on,
So that's the that's the storyline we gotta we gotta
track Bill Belichick's love life.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
I have to be honest with you, this is a
credit to the players, all the players in the league
right now, some of the players outside of the league too.
But this is the time you hear some guys get popped.
You know, they'll getting some off season activities that some
stuff goes on.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
They've given us no material basically, I mean.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Pretty much, pretty much.

Speaker 4 (28:47):
I mean, I'm pretty sure Mike Florida Pro Football Talk
used to have a like a day's since getting.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
Someone getting arrest, encounter or tracker. So so that's out there.
Although notes ever called Mike floora out on how messed
up that looks. But yeah, that's like a thing.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
So credits credits all the players, all the former players,
not creating any drama, or at least not as much
drama as maybe we're.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Accustomed to in the off season.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Also, it does go to show you though, this is
what the NFL has lived on in the off seasons
for the past few years, and it was Aaron Rodgers,
which you're still living on a little bit of it
with Aaron Rodgers because he may come back to play
and come to come play for the Pittsburgh Steelers. But
that's the other side of this conversation is if you

(29:33):
really pull back the curtain, that's what the drama in
the NFL has been about for the past few years.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Leverage the Sanders family a little bit there, Sprinkle a
little bit of Sanders in on the recipe. But you know,
I don't know, man, Yeah, I think a lot of
this is based off of a little bit a tad
bit of jealousy too. You know, some of these people
be acting like all high and mighty and righteous about
out what they got going to be.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Like Peter King.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
I mean, I don't want to you know, I ain't
gonna take no direct direct aim at anybody. But I'll
just say this.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
I mean, we could play back to sound if you want.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
Oh no, I mean he took direct shots, like I said,
I'm not It could apply. It could apply to Peter King.
Some of these people. He's got a hole in his sweater.
Thanks Pete. Send your GQ cover come out. Some of
these guys are really great at their jobs because they

(30:31):
don't want to be at home.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
I'm going back here at I've heard you say this before.

Speaker 4 (30:40):
But maybe by the way, the best part, the best
part about LaVar's I'm not gonna take a shot any
any guy. But I'm also gonna say they're all for
fathers and they don't want to be at home with
their family.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Shot, and I'm gonna deal with you, and I'm gonna
let everybody like you know, praise you and talk about,
oh my gosh, you're the wife of this guy, and
this and that, and he don't even want to be there.
They don't want to be at home, They don't want
to be around their spouse. And while you're looking at
it like, oh, he's so dedicated to the job. He

(31:17):
pulls out his mattress and he sleeps under his desk
and he stays, he burns the midnight oil. Ain't enough
football in the world. Ain't enough football in the world
for you to be doing all that. Take your ass home,
Take your ass home and be a part of your
family unit. If you think for two seconds that if

(31:39):
any of them dudes was dealing with that Bill Belichick
is dealing with right now, that they staying over time
all the time, you're kidding yourself. I got a reason
to go home, and it ain't just my kids. I
ain't just staying because of my kids and some of
y'all out here. Y'all, if y'all listen to our radio

(32:00):
show while you're preparing for you know, OTAs or preparing
for coaches meetings, you know what I'm talking about. And
a lot of y'all got side chicks because your wife
just doesn't do it like your wife doesn't do it
for you the way that your side chick does. So
you got a side chick. So stop judging this man

(32:20):
for doing what guys have been doing and our profession
for many, many, many moons. Back to Abraham Lincoln. Wow,
which I won't even go there on one from what
I read on Yeah, yeah, I mean he had a
side piece too.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
He did.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Yeah, yes he did. Okay, Wow, share the razor, all right,
leave that man alone.

Speaker 8 (32:42):
Man.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Let let Bill Belichick be great man, just because just
because you upset at what he gets to look at
versus what you look at. You looking at the floor,
he's looking at at that and in between, he's in
between the ceiling and the floor. He don't he don't
even have to drop his eyes. He's his eyes are
right where they need to be. You down now at

(33:04):
the knee level, at the ankle level. Why do you
ever wonder why you don't see very many pictures of
old school coaches with their wives. Why not they don't
like them? Damn.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
I love the fact that you skip the guy actually
taking a direct shot and you just decided to take
a direct shot at all the current coaches out there.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
No, I ain't gonna say current coaches, because some of
the current coaches have gotten on board. Like some of
these dudes got some like they did well. Like it's like,
I'm gonna do well for myself. I don't I don't
have to settle nobody. I'm going to I'm gonna get
me a real good looking wife, my missus. Hey, some

(33:56):
of these cats, like coach Saban, I'm pro proud of
his wife. She calls him daddy and he calls her mama.
And I'm sure they'll be very, very pleased to know that.
Those are the memories that people take away from when
they're around the saving family. There's some of these dudes
out here. Coach I just interview Sark Coach Sarkejan did well.

(34:20):
There's some guys that really have done well in the
category of choosing. You ain't gotta choose low. You ain't
gotta go low, everybody. You can't have your cake and
eat it too. It's the dumbest saying ever in the
history of dumbest sayings. If I'm gonna have a cake,
I'm gonna eat it too. I am why i'ma have
a cake and I eat it. You can have your

(34:41):
especially as a coach. You know how much influence you
have to throw around. Look at what Bill Belichick just did.
He threw around all that influence and landed a dime.
Don't be upset that that man did what you wanted
to do. And you gotta go on your your cell
phone or or act like you looking at play somebody
walking your office. You gotta minimize the screen and go

(35:03):
back up to the diagrams of plays where the red
line is stuff like that. Stop it, y'all, stop it.
You're looking at her like, why can't you work out
why you don't go to the gym anymore? Wait? Did
you ever go to the gym? Cannot be the vandicamps man.

(35:28):
You never asked me to do yoga?

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Well, hey, I know this happy Mother's day, just had
a time. I just want to get that out there
for everybody.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
Got kids. He don't even gotta go there. You know,
he ain't even got to deal with it. He already
got his kids. They're probably older than her. I'm gonna
have my fun. Go ahead, Bill, I'll ride with you.
How support to Bill?

One point six second one that Winnipeg is tied.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
It at three. Jets Radio Network on the call.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
That was the tying goal in the third period with
one point six seconds left for Winnipeg. They went on
to win it in double overtime. That was a Game seven.
They will advance in the NHL playoffs. That is your

Speaker 9 (38:32):
In case, quite a weekend for Leads in the EFL Championship.
They have now been promoted after winning the championship taking
home the title.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
Congrats to Leeds. I know we got some uh some
fans here on the shows, Nato ra what is this? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (38:51):
I call what you one?

Speaker 2 (38:53):
English Football League?

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Every day we we're all going say we love your leads. Lads, lads, huh,
come on, let's go who huh?

Speaker 2 (39:07):
I mean lads, lads, lads, lads, lads interesting.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
Ging together?

Speaker 2 (39:17):
Interesting. We're really going to celebrate them, Yes, really? Oh yeah,
who are they?

Speaker 4 (39:24):
It's a well, they're now an English Premier League team.
They just got promoted the championship.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
They screwed over, they screwed over Plymouth Argyle.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
Yeah is that who a was?

Speaker 2 (39:36):
Plymouth Argyle completely completely robbed.

Speaker 4 (39:39):
A goal in the ninety first minute by my new
Solomon for the season. After Burnley took care of Millwall,
they won via tiebreaker in gold differential for the top
of the table.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
So huh, big time win, big time win.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
Unbelievable. Oh yeah, well we're just gonna sit here. I
know Leson do it.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
Lee's been rudin. He's been drinking rooting for a while
during those games.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
Yeah, we're going to get to that, aren't we. I
mean drinking and rooting.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Wilfred Nanto in the fifty third minute, I thought it
was just going to finish. I thought it was just
going to be a one one one one draw draw.

Speaker 4 (40:15):
Yeah, then they would have lost the championships. That's why
the goal by Solomon in the ninety.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
First was huge.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
Jeez.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
And look for all Leads fans out there, all those
who have endured what has been kind of an up
and down tumultuous.

Speaker 3 (40:27):
I don't know, past couple of decades. This one went
our way.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
What what's the NFL comp? What's an American team comp
that people can relate to?

Speaker 3 (40:39):
No, how do you get the Bills?

Speaker 4 (40:42):
I would say the Bills like a like an unbelievable
fan base, and they've been so close, so close, but yeah,
I'd say the.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
Bills, Hey, Bills couldn't get it done? What are those tailgates?

Speaker 1 (40:54):
Like?

Speaker 4 (40:54):
I mean, honestly, I don't want to go as far
as Dallas because Leads has had their moment and throughout history.
But that might be a little too much because Dallas
is such a huge brand and I don't think they're
the top brand. But the Bills I think might be
a good comp for them. But they obviously are owned
by majority by the San Francisco forty nine ers h

(41:15):
and now that.

Speaker 6 (41:15):
They've been promoted, they could face off against Liam de Lap,
who plays for the Premier League.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
Liam Liam de Lap, Liam de Lapp. Awesome, awesome? Does
he look like you? I was watching a serial killer
show on Netflix this weekend and oh god, I almost
took a snapshot and sent it to y'all, Like it
looked like Lee, is it?

Speaker 3 (41:36):
Jack?

Speaker 2 (41:36):
The Daniels, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
Stupid, so stupid, stupid.

Speaker 2 (41:46):
They got problems, bro,
