Speaker 4 (01:02):
I save that one for today. I didn't want to
send that on a Father's day.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
No. Check what Lee found?
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Am.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
I don't know if this I don't know if this
woman was on the the S S two C with
Stefan Diggs. But uh, Lee found found a woman dancing
on a boat somewhere on the water. And I just
felt like there was a couple of things missing from
the from the video that we saw. Come on, what
(01:38):
did you hear me out.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I don't see this. I don't see that.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
After Jonas's now hear me out.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
I don't see what you're talking about.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Here. I'll help you out, yeah, Lee, So so what
what do you what do you want to hear out?
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Lee?
Speaker 3 (01:57):
How do you want to explain this whole new.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Meaning to the word spinner?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yep, good call. That's a good call. I will figure
out a way to get a get LeVar up on
game when it comes to uh, it comes to the lease.
Lee's late is fine, but we'll just put it this way.
Social media is a wild place at times. The things
that you see with the invention of the camera phone
(02:27):
and the camera video completely over.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
It's a scary place, bro it is. It's a scary
place because people are really people are really out here
to get you. You know. I was talking to my son,
like these younger dudes and younger people out here, they're
understanding it. They're starting to understand it more now as well.
(02:53):
It's it's like you can't. It's so interesting. It's like, Wow,
technology opens you up to this brave, new, interesting world
of entertainment and education. You have so many things right
at your fingertips, like immediately, like things that that you
would have never dreamed of or imagined of when we
(03:15):
were growing up. And for all of the positives that
are connected to all of this this technology, I mean
the the scary things of it, the scary parts of
it are crazy because you know, I did this thing
on on and just to test my theory, I did this.
I did these social media posts same days they were,
(03:38):
they were weeks apart, same exact content, same exact pictures,
same exact It's the same exact thing with the same
message on both of them, except one starts with it
starts with a very very dark type of narrative. The
(03:58):
other one goes right into positivity right from the jump
it's positive. From the other jump it's negative. I got
almost seven hundred thousand views. I got crazy, crazy amounts
of comments on the one that starts off dark and
(04:20):
not positive before it gets to the positive, and people
are like, not even putting in context. You know. So
both had the same message, and but the context was
maybe it was taken out of context because of the
way one of them started. It's the same thing with
(04:43):
everything that's going on with all of this technology, right,
context can be lost, So quickly, and to think if
that context catches on, you could get canceled, like and
I don't know, and you don't know if there's any
coming back from that, because companies aren't going to invest
(05:06):
in somebody that's uninvestable, and and so you put yourself
in so many like there's there's so many things that
you have to be aware of in today's like technology
in this culture, because people be really out here to
get you, Like they'll see something and they'll take that
and they'll use that and they'll try to use it
against you, which is pretty evil. Like I feel like
(05:29):
social media is truly exposed how evil people truly are.
Like you don't have to be a flat out like
criminal to be an evil person, like some of you
people out there, y'all are some evil hearted people.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Men.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Well it's crazy.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
It's the old adage. Yeah, there's a hammer. It can
be used as a tool or a weapon. You go,
how do you choose, Like, which which end do you
want to go with? I mean that's gees, that's just
that's that's the way it's into. So yeah, it's it
is a wild place, especially right now in today's climate
with all the other stuff going on, so tread carefully.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Hey, but with that being said, But with that being said,
lead the Lap definitely needs to stay the hell away
from from anything that could be taken out of context,
because it really is within context. No, I haven't I
don't know what you're talking about. I haven't seen it.
Just click the link. I don't see it. Just nothing
(06:29):
came through. You're talking about what you sent with the
line on the top of the cocktail.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
No, not that you're old and I want to make
sure this.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Yeah, that's all I see. We're just gonna take our
time make sure I see it. Yeah, I didn't get it.
I can't see it.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Well, I do know this. It is two pros and
a cup of Joe. Here on Fox Orts Radio. It
is black and Drag. Here Jonas Knox or Arrington taking
you all the way up until nine am Eastern time,
six o'clock Pacific. Now, somebody who's always in the news
because he's a member of the Dallas Cowboys. He's a
quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys is one Dak Prescott. And
(07:16):
Dak Prescott was asked over the weekend, Hey, listen, what
about winning a Super Bowl? What about winning a Super Bowl?
How would you feel about that. Let's take a listen.
Speaker 6 (07:24):
I want to win a championship, the legacy, the things,
whatever comes after I've finished planning, we'll take care of itself.
Be damned if it's just for my legacy or for
it's for this teams, for my personal being and for
my sanity. Yeah, the legacy will take care of itself.
I have to stay with my feet.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
On, all right.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
I'd like to defend Dak Prescott here just for well,
and I want to just be clear about something. He's
never going to win a super Bowl, Like that's that's
not happening. Okay, So look, but well I'm just I
just I just I just want to I just want
(08:03):
to make this point. Like listen, He's like, so those
dreams are done. It's like I really wanted to play
in the NBA when I was a kid, and then
I realized.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
I was white.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Yeah, it's like you know what I mean. Like then
all of a sudden, I cleaned my mirror with some
windex and I was like, oh damn, I got no shot.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
It's like, although you got a white boys ball, like
you guys a white boys.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Yeah, so I can assure you there was no white
boy ball in my backyard. That one happened at your house.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
So I just sort of realized, Okay, well is what
it is. So let's try and find the positives. So
Dad Prescott's never going to win a super Bowl with
the Cowboys. It's never gonna happen. And I say this
is somebody who was actually in recent memory picked the
Cowboys to win a super Bowl. It's over. That ship
has sailed. You can't even that ship is so far
gone you can't even see it if you look out
(08:59):
far enough, binoculars, whatever you want to use. It's over.
But there is a positive to all this, all right,
because I feel like their best chance to win a
Super Bowl is twenty sixteen. That was his rookie year.
That was Zeke's rookie year. Everything was set up for him.
They had a home game in the playoffs, they had
the Packers, and Mason Crosby and Aaron Rodgers and Mike
(09:20):
McCarthy ruined all that, And that was really their best
chance to win a super Bowl. We've seen what's happened since.
But here's the good thing. Legacy or not. If Dak
Prescott plays out the remainder of his deal with the
Dallas Cowboys. By thirty five years old, he will have
earned around four hundred and thirty six million dollars in
(09:45):
his career. The Super Bowl can kiss my ass. The
Lombardi Trophy. Hey, you guys have fun with that. I'll
take my near half billion dollars in earnings as a
Dallas Cowboys quarterback. And I'm good with my I see, like,
forget about super Bowls. The guy's already won. He is
already won. He is good to go. Deal with the criticism.
(10:07):
He's just gonna keep cashing checks for the rest of
his life.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
You know, I think once people comprehend and realize and
I listen, I understand this whole fear market value deal.
We had the conversation about Hendrickson and him getting compensated
more but based upon his ability to get to the
quarterback and lead in the league in sacks. But just
like in this scenario here, what you're talking about, you
(10:34):
start to realize when you're not playing the game of football,
there's very few of us that transition into another gig
that pays the amount of money you make playing the game.
And I mean, like you could be you could be
making really really good money in your post career life,
(10:58):
and it doesn't compare to what you were making when
you were playing playing the game of football. And so
to me, it's like when all else fails, I'm not
wasting a year. It's just me just just on the
other side of knowing that. And listen, I like to work,
so it's not that I need to. It's like, I
(11:18):
just like to work and I like doing media. But
still the idea of being able to generate, make a
lot of money, do well for yourself, and a profession
that you're in. Man, the lowest paid cats in the
league are highest paid cats in regular society. The lowest paids,
(11:40):
you know, the minimum wage guys are They are pretty
well compensated. It's not crazy money. But when you hear
money like this, what Dak Prescott has made and has
been able to able to earn, you know, it's just
you're proud of the fact that athletic ability can actually
(12:04):
lead to you generating that type of income. And I
take that at face value. I say, when somebody's able
to get to a contract like that, it would be
nice to have a legacy where you're remembered as a
Hall of famer or one of the greatest ever. But
make no mistake about it, Like you said, Jonas, I'll
be just fine hanging out poolside, beachside with my toes
(12:29):
in the sand, doing what I want to do if
that's what I so choose want to do, you know,
in my post career or even during my career. So
you know, it's a lot of money and there's a
lot of reasons to be happy even if you don't
get to the pinnacle of the sport.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Like, think about it this way. So he's thirty five,
we'll just fast forward. He's thirty five years old and
some Jay off in a Cowboys jersey starts, you know,
given him the business talking about, oh, you never won
a Super Bowl. You were disappointment. We should have done more, this, this, this,
(13:09):
and this. Like if you're Dak Prescott, you just look
at this guy and go, dude, I'm not even forty
yet and I've literally got four hundred plus million dollars
in the bank. By the way, that's just career ating,
salary wise, endorsements, marketing. And he's a Cowboys quarterback. You
know what that means. On the back end of his career,
(13:30):
we've seen what's happened with Cowboys quarterbacks going into broadcasting,
former Cowboys players going into broadcasting. So this idea of well,
you know, his legacy and what does this mean for
Dak moving forward? The reality is they're not winning a
super Bowl while he's there, and I don't put that
necessarily all on him. There's a lot going on. There's
(13:53):
always chaos. It seems like there's always dysfunction, the way
they handle the McCarthy stuff, the way they handle some
of their other contracts. If you're Dak Prescott, Okay, sweet,
I didn't want a super Bowl. Okay, you know what
a so so? Nick Foles has won a super Bowl.
All these other guys that want a super Bowl. I've
never been to a super Bowl. Okay, cool, I'm fine.
(14:14):
If I want to, I'll just go buy a super Bowl. Okay, Look,
maybe I'll never go to the Hall of Fame. I
could probably buy the Hall of Fame if I wanted to,
I could probably buy.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
I can't your point, to your point, there's probably more
than enough dudes you could shake a stick at and
they would trade the Hall of Fame for Dak Prescott's
earning one. Hey, do you still want to be in
the Hall of Fame, or would you trade it for
(14:45):
four hundred million. I mean, how many of them dudes
you think are in the Hall of Fame. That'd be like, uh,
take that bus, melt it down, shove it up your
you know what, I'm taking the money, you know. And
there's some guy, now listen, there are some guys that
are truly prideful. And there's not a price tag. You
(15:07):
can't put a price tag on accomplishment. You really can't,
especially when it's it's something that you've done in your past.
So there's something to be said about living in a place.
And I know this because I'm in the College Football
Hall of Fame. There's something to be said about creating
(15:28):
a legacy, creating memories that your family that you will
never meet in the future. You'll never meet them. You
will be long gone, you'll be far gone from here,
but somebody will be saying, that's your great great great
great granddad. You know that that was he did this,
He did that. So to me, there's value there. But damn,
(15:51):
four hundred million, let's not get news for you. I'm
gonna have to think about it. I'm gonna have to
think about it like, hey, great great great great great
great born grandchild. Just know, great great great great great
great granddad was really good at football. And if you don't,
don't worry about it. But you know that that car
that you're driving, that Tonka truck that you have, that
(16:14):
came from the trust fund from your great great great
great great great great granddad. That set it up for
somebody that was along the way along the line to
getting to you.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Listen, I don't look, I don't know my great great
great granddad. I never met him. He might have been
an alcoholic. I have no idea, but I know this,
but if he was a Hall of Famer, I'd be like, man,
that's awesome. Can I get a hundred bucks I get
Can I get some cash? Please? You know I'd like
to pay my bills, Like, can I get some money?
(16:44):
So yeah, I just I think sometimes sometimes and and
to your point on this, I think sometimes we get
lost in this. Well, he's got to he's got to
win this. He's got to do that first. It's like, no, man,
like the idea that you can play a kids game
and walk away from it, hopefully with all your faculties
(17:04):
and with the amount of comfort that you're able to
live with, not only for you, but all the people,
everybody in your orbit, all the family members, the people
that struggled with you coming up. That's a win, man, Like,
that's your super Bowl in reality. As much as people
don't like it, that's what it is in my mind.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
You start to realize that when you're not making it anymore.
Every once in a while, I'll be looking at my
my like my check stubs and stuff like that, I'd
be like, WTF. I remember a time I looked at
that stub and I just kept going zero zero zero
(17:44):
zero zero. Now it's like there, damn, that's it. That
was it. That was it?
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Hey, this printer run at ink. Okay, it is Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you coming up next here though,
as somebody was surprised by something, and they're surprised because
one organization in the NFL is added again, we'll explain
right here on FSR.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here coming up a
little over fifteen minutes from now. It's a Monday tradition.
It's called the FSRR. That'll be yours here again on
Fox Sports Radio. We're reporting any issues, injuries, ailment from
a long weekend for the crew. That'll be again yours
a little over fifteen minutes from now. Now. We discussed
(18:53):
last hour the positive news out of Cincinnati, in which
Jeremy Fowlers report warding that Trey Hendrickson and the Bengals
have resumed talks again. All right, communication had been broken off,
and apparently communication is now on again for the Bengals
and Trey Hendrickson as they try and figure out some
(19:14):
sort of a way to get a deal done. As
he is looking for a contract extension he'd like to
be paid. Now he is not alone. He also joins TJ. Watt,
and he joins Micah Parsons. But the subject of this
segment is TJ. Watt, and this is kind of interesting.
Brooke Pryor, who covers the Steelers, for ESPN. She was
(19:37):
on SERIOUSXM recently and had this to say, quote, I
think what the Steelers were not anticipating is how serious TJ.
Watt is about being at the top of the market.
And I think at that point too, they weren't necessarily
anticipating that Miles Garrett was resetting the market in such
a big way. So there's a couple of things here. One, LeVar,
(20:00):
if you're the Steelers, how could you not expect the
T J. Watt would want to be at the top
of the market and get paid. Isn't this how this works?
Like you, like everybody, that.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
How it works. I mean, Cleveland continues to give people heartburn.
Is what they're the best and and and and at
least they're good at something which is making players very
very wealthy and irritating and pissing a lot of other
(20:31):
organizations off with what it is that they're doing. So
I don't know, it's it's a it's an interesting deal.
You got to be aware of the fact that certain
things may happen when a year ends, a football season ends,
and you're going into that that offseason, that new league year,
(20:53):
and guys get paid, and you know, the positions and
you have an idea sometimes of the players that are
going to do it. And so to me, it's interesting.
You know, you have Hendrickson, you have T. J. Watt.
They both have something very common or incommon, I should say,
(21:13):
about the two of them. And you know, I just
don't understand why people aren't really taking a good, long
heart look as to what the real reason is as
to why they're not getting paid.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
The part about the Browns is hilarious.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
You didn't catch that. Yes, I was joking. I was
not being serious. I was I was joking, but I
thought you I gave you a lobber. But well, anyway, I.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Don't know like the part but you mentioned the Browns
giving heartburn. They're and I don't know if they're intentionally
doing this, but their ability to put teams and organizations
in such a difficult spot by the money that they
(22:00):
pay out and you said at least they're good at something, Yeah,
they're really good at it. They're really good at giving
a quarterback a guaranteed contract that nobody has been able
to match, nobody's been able to come close to, and
made things difficult. They're they've given Miles Garrett the type
of deal. And not only did he appreciate the contract,
(22:21):
he didn't even participate in mini camp. He was like, yeah, listen,
I'm going over to Japan with my girlfriend. Like you guys,
do whatever you need to do. We'll be ready for
the season. And so now you've got the Steelers, You've
got the Cowboys, You've got the Bengals that are all
looking to get paid. And there's probably, as you mentioned,
owners that are looking at the Browns going again again
(22:45):
with this you're setting the you're setting the market where
it is with this contract, and now we've got to
match that. And look, we discussed it at the time
with your guide Deshaun Watson getting the getting the con tract.
He got the most vocal owner and the most vocal
voice of all of them to criticize the contract was
(23:08):
was Bishemi not Ashmy? Why am I saying it's a Bashadi?
I just called, by the way, the Raven's owner was
not putting a woodship or at the end of that movie,
that was Steve bmi Vashadi who basically said, if we're
going to give a contract out like this, are we
sure we want it to be this guy like we're
(23:28):
sure that this is the guy that we want to
give the contract to. And so now you've got another
team in the division and the Steelers that are looking
at the contract given out by the Browns again much
like the Ravens did, and they're going, wait, so now
we've got to match this. And I don't think that
there's going to be a trade, but there's some people
(23:49):
that have thrown out the possibility of like, hey, you know,
maybe what could you get for TJ.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
Watt?
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Like what could you get for that. I think they'll
ultimately get something done, but it is wild to think
that the Browns continue to do this and put everybody
in a difficult spot when trying to pay their players well.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Playing well puts organizations clearly apparently in a difficult spot
as well. And so there's something to be said about
that is that you're talking about guys that are playing
at the highest level and you don't get a long
shelf life in this sport. So when the market is
(24:30):
set and it's reset, guys are going to intensely and
aggressively go after those market values, even if they have
time on their their contracts. Now, for Michael Parsons, it's
just to me, it's a matter of time that's going
to happen again. My biggest question is how close will
(24:55):
it be to Miles Garrett or will he surpass Miles Garrett.
I would not be prize if Jerry Jones makes Michael
Parsons a higher paid player than Miles Garrett. Do you
I would not be surprised.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
If you're TJ Watt, you want to pass Miles Garrett? Correct,
Like I want to be paid more than him if
he signed his deal?
Speaker 1 (25:17):
What's what's what's the age comparisons? TJ's a little older
than than Miles correct.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Yeah, a little bit. Let me let me look that up.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
I think I think he has to be realistic about its.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
Garrett is pretty Did they come out on the same draft?
TJ's a year older at thirty, Miles is twenty nine.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Yeah. I mean that's not a big enough discrepancy to
use against TJ. Watt as a reason to not pay him. So, yes,
he is going to want the same amount of money.
I mean, he's been more productive than than Miles Garrett,
I believe, just off the top of my head during
the course of the time of his career, and for
what it's worth, the Pittsburgh Steelers don't win when they
(26:04):
don't have t J. Watt on the field, and so
he's not only productive statistically, but his impact goes far
beyond just the statistical categories. They win games when t J.
Watt is on the field. So it's the influence, it's
the presence of t J. Watt that that ultimately is
a very very valuable asset to have on your team
(26:27):
as well.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
Yeah, they were in the same draft, so that's.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Like, well, hell yeah, he wants the same money.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
Yeah, that's why would he was why the Steelers surprised, like, wow,
we didn't we didn't anticipate he was playing on resetting
the market. What do you mean? That's how this works.
That's that's why people rushed to get early, because they
don't want to have to deal with the amount of
money you're going to pay on the back end. That's
that's just the way this this stuff operates. I and
(26:55):
I can't imagine. I don't do you think, so I'm
trying to figure out Rogers showing up in Pittsburgh. Do
you think he got any sort of an understanding or
thought of like, hey, don't worry about the TJ. Watt stuff,
we're gonna get it taken care of. Do you think
they had any sort of those discussions, because why would
(27:16):
he want to go there if they're going to be
less than by potentially not having TJ.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
Watt.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Do you think any of those conversations came up or
is he still too new to have have those those
discussions there with the steam is who too knew Aaron Rodgers? Like,
do you think he talked with the organization.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
I don't think he's going part. I don't think he's
a part of those type of conversations. No, Aaron Rodgers
is there to play a season and he's got a
He's at a point in his career where he has
to worry about and concern himself with how he's going
to play and what that's going to look like. That's
(27:54):
enough of That's enough of a focus for Aaron Rodgers. So, yes,
it's too new and not not worth it? Like what
does that look like? Yeah, I'm gonna come in when
I come in, you know, sign me, when you sign me,
like it's going to be around this time. I'll be
there ready for the mini camp. Oh yeah, by the way,
(28:15):
make sure you have TJ. Watt signed make sure you
get me Dk Metcalf, make sure you get me Davante Adams.
You know, no, that's that's not what he's doing. That's
definitely not what Aaron Rodgers is doing. And that's definitely
not the position that he is in. But and and
for what is worth you know, TJ. Watt is a
(28:37):
very well respected player on that team, just like a
Cam Hayward. You know those types of guys. They're they're
tenured guys, they've been there, they're leaders. They can handle
that on their own. That's a that's a conversation that TJ.
Watt can have himself with people in the front office
at at for the Steelers, and he can also have
(28:59):
his agent be very very involved in having those conversations
as well. I don't think he needs there's no influence
coming from Aaron Rodgers that's going to make the situation
different for TJ. Watt.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
And by the way, you mentioned it, TJ. Wats had
a better career than Miles Garrett. I mean it's close.
I mean, but like both are you know, both have
had great careers, But he's had a better career than
Miles Garrett.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
I mean yeah, And I mean and he hasn't slowed down. No,
he hasn't slowed down. That's the thing about it. It's
not like it's like, oh he's aging da dada, that
and the other. He has not slowed down. His production
is still there and defensive ends if you if you
learn the techniques the way and you master the techniques
(29:45):
the way that TJ. Watt has, you know, those things
don't go away for a while. You can he could play.
He could play another five, six, seven years at a
high level just based off of his ability to execute
the fundamental strategies out there on the techniques out there
on the field. He's he's a highly skilled player. And
(30:08):
it's becoming more and more and more of a trend
to become those type of players. And it's really fun
to see. It's really fun to watch. But make no
mistake about it. I mean guys like TJ. Watt, Guys
like Maus Garrett. I mean you mentioned Michael Parsons, you
know that whole, the whole, Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware,
(30:30):
a generation of guys, the Aaron Donalds who trained with
rubber knives and stuff like that to learn hand to
hand combat and leverage and stuff like that. It's pretty
wild and it's pretty cool to see how the game
has evolved to such a skill level and how it
works when you're actually watching guys I know how to
(30:53):
execute it that way.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
By the way, that draft class, here are some of
the names in that draft class twenty seventeen. Obviously Miles Garrett, TJ. Watt,
Christian McCaffrey, Patrick Mahomes, Marlon Humphrey, George Kittle, Cooper Cup,
Trey Hendrickson, Deshaun Watson was in that draft class. It's
(31:18):
kind of a okay, yeah, there Worthy. There's a noteworthy
draft class there in twenty seventeen. A lot of people
were critical of it because, you know, there were some
of the guys taken at the top who kind of fizz.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
Did Deshaun Watson go number one?
Speaker 3 (31:34):
No? He went God? Was he ten? I think he
went ten?
Speaker 1 (31:39):
Miles Garrett went number one?
Speaker 3 (31:40):
Yeah, Miles Garrett went one, and that was Trubisky went to.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
Wow, yeah wow?
Speaker 3 (31:48):
Leave him alone?
Speaker 1 (31:49):
All right? Where's Trubisky?
Speaker 3 (31:51):
Uh? Is he still in Buffalo? Is he backing up
in Buffalo League? Can you give an update on Mitch
Trubisky's whereabouts? I believe he's in Buffalo. I think he's the.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
I thought he was hanging with Jay.
Speaker 4 (32:02):
He is with Buffalo Dan and Mahomes was taken before
Deshaun Watson.
Speaker 3 (32:06):

the FSR IR Report.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
Alright, who's got what? Lee? You want to take center stage?
Speaker 4 (34:04):
Yeah, I had an eventful weekend, so to speak. I
went to an Angel City soccer match over at BMO Stadium,
the Angel City Football Club, the women's soccer club. I
think they were playing South Carolina and they lost the game.
But what I also was lost was my debit card.
I lost my debit card somewhere between the first beer
and the second Margarita lost it in there somewhere, So.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
That was a bummer. That was a bummer.
Speaker 4 (34:30):
Also, I dropped one of my drinks. But the security
was helpful enough to say that we got you. They
bought me another drink, so that was nice of them.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
What are you, Edward scissorhands? She can't hold onto your stuff?
Well I was, I know, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
I might have had one too many somewhere in there.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
By the way, that this isn't the first time you've
lost your card. Didn't he lose your idea? Or was
that Iowa Sam who got his stuff stolen at an airport?
Speaker 4 (34:53):
Iowa Sam had his stuff stolen. I had my wallet.
I lost my wallet a few years ago.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
That was a bummer.
Speaker 4 (34:58):
Lost everything in that wallet, I mean, backpack stolen. Yeah,
losing the debit card sect. And then I think I
picked up a bug. I definitely love a hot Doug
(35:20):
And I think I talk about it. God be sick,
because I'm getting sick right now.
Speaker 3 (35:23):
It's oh my god. Yeah yeah. Lee. By the way,
is Uh has got the chills?
Speaker 2 (35:28):
It is Uh.
Speaker 3 (35:29):
It looks like I think he's about ready to to
Tracy Morgan It somewhere in the studio.
Speaker 4 (35:34):
I want I want to I'm wrapped up in Uh
in Lorena's Barbie blanket right now.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Yeah, yeah, not feeling.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
We're certain of that.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
By the way, can I can tell you something here.
I mean I I caught a little bit of heat
for this. So it's it's a little bit of an
ir story. Proud father moment for me over the weekend,
and I know, you know, being Father's Day and all
that Saturday was my son's final t ball game of
the season. He had a couple of balls that haven't
(36:08):
landed yet, so he was great. And that was and
you're probably thinking, ah, so that's that's the proud Father's
Day moment of the weekend. No, no, no, it's this.
So my wife is Mexican for those that are that
are not aware, and Mexico was playing a big Gold
Cup game. She is you said, you don't like that
(36:31):
drop anymore, right, It is.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
Not that one.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
She's Mexican. I don't understand. But so there was a
big soccer game over the weekend. It's so far out here,
and it was Mexico versus the Dominican Republic. And so
we got back I.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
Was about to say something that would have been taken
so wrong.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
Go ahead, I don't worry. So we we get back
home and you know, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and my son,
without being prompted, began rooting for the Dominican Republic just
to piss my wife off. He's four years old, four
(37:18):
years old, and oh my god, I'm so proud though.
Oh like he's a Knox. Yes, yes, I told me.
There's nothing better than rooting against the team that somebody
else wants to win. There's nothing better. It is the
best thing in the world. And so he's rooting for
and I remember, and my wife tells me, she handle it.
(37:41):
She tells, she's like, Bud, you're you're half Mexican. No
I'm not. I was like, hey, listen, man, like, so,
so we were rooting for the Dominican Republic. They lost,
of course, but uh but yeah, that was that was
a proud moment for me. Forget the T ball stuff.
I mean, you know, he did he did what he
did there. That was a proud moment for me. But
I'm the one who caught the heat for it, because
(38:02):
she's like, where do you think he gets this from?
Musta go? I'm not room for the Dominican Republic. I
am now now that you say that. But yeah, it was.
That was a fun moment for all involved. Uh, Lorena,
you got anything for the weekend?
Speaker 1 (38:15):
M not?
Speaker 3 (38:16):
I had a great weekend. Yeah, oh I did have
a bad corn dog.
Speaker 1 (38:21):
She was thirst trapping wild doing corn dog reviews.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
Well, you know they didn't serve me bad corn dogs.
I wouldn't have to do reviews. Wait what wait what
you were thirst trapping on corns?
Speaker 1 (38:34):
Trapping, thirst trapping wild orm reviews. That's right though,
