Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming up on
this Tuesday edition, we look back on Game five of
the NBA Finals, and if you believe LeVar Arrington, there
won't be a Game seven we will discuss. We're also
going to talk about the very latest out of Minnesota,
where the Vikings have never won a Super Bowl, but
(00:20):
if you believe them, they think it's happening sooner rather
than later. We've also got the latest on Micah Parsons
and TJ Watt. One negotiation feels a little different than
the other. We've got a payday in the world of
college football. We've also got the King returning to his
throne in the world of Well you'll stick around and
(00:40):
listen to that as well too, And we've got another
edition of Lee's Leftovers. We've also got another edition of
would you Rather? Pete Prisco's going to stop by, and
it's Maui Camp Day. All of that is yours coming
up next here, Two Pros and a Cup of Joe
on a Tuesday, Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Let's get this puny. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
That's good that's good. I'm with you, blocking drag.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
Momar Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you,
No Brady Quinn. So it's black and track here on
this Tuesday morning as we take it all the way
up until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific. You

and you can find us on hundreds of affiliates all
across the country.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
And we are one win away.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
For the Oklahoma City Thunder for celebrating an NBA championship.
Congratulations to OKAC for getting it done last night.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
And I think.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Noteworthy we're making progress here as far as the coverage
and development of the league because I don't have any
sort of evidence that would say that Steven A. Smith
was playing Solitaire on his phone again during the actual game,
so I feel like that's a positive development from game
four to game five. So it was nice to see
that Stephen A was not playing card games on his
(02:33):
phone afterwards.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
That'd have been an upgrade from what the audience will
be for this next game.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
I would say that'll do it Jack, you think it's
a oh you think it's a wrap? Are you called it? Yeah?
It's over all right, it's over man, all right here,
you know they said, but it.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
I know they said that whoever wins what what was
a game three eighty percent of the time wins the series.
Well that's that that percentage will be affected and impacted
because okay, see, even if they lose this next game,
(03:17):
I just I think, OKAYC is just better. They're better. Yeah,
they're better. I mean they were better coming into it.
I don't think anybody was expecting Indiana Pacers to do
what they.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Did, but they pulled out two games.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Oh wow, yeah, I mean the undertakers here, the reality
of it is is that you get a Tyrese Haliburton
with thirty four minutes and only four points. I told
you Siakam was the captain of the ship. We just
didn't know that Siakam being the captain of the ship. Well,
(03:54):
it wouldn't be enough to get the ship to shore.
They're lost. That see the name making it back. Not
out of this finals, they're not.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
So the undertakers here to close the lid on the
Indiana Pacers after a Game five loss.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
You know what the Undertaker said, what's that I'm the
captain of this ship.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Now he's the captain of the coffin. Now now you
mentioned Tyrese Haliburton. That was the big discussion. He went
down with what they're calling a calf strain early in
the game and was clearly nowhere close to being one
hundred percent, and so Tyrese Haliburton spoke about the injury
(04:38):
and playing despite the injury afterwards.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
I mean, it's gonna be a finals. It's the finals, man.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
I've worked my whole life to be here, and I
want to be out there to compete, you know, help
my teammates anyway I can.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
You know, I was not great tonight by.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
Any means, but uh, you know, it's not really a
thought of mine to not play here. You know, if
I fucking uh you know, walk, then I want to play.
So you know they understand that, and uh, you know
is what it is. And uh, you know, got be
ready to go for Game six.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
I was surprised that. I just assume when he was hobbled,
all right, here we go like this is gonna be
the end of the road. And then all of a sudden,
Indiana somehow Someway with TJ. McConnell coming in and playing
great minutes for him, ends up making that a game
and cutting the lead to two. At one point, I'm
thinking to myself, is this gonna Are we doing this again?
(05:33):
They're gonna do this again? And then ultimately they kept
turning the ball over. Okay Sees defense, which we've talked about,
which has been fantastic, UH came up big for them,
and they just hit enough shots down the stretch. Jalen
Williams was fantastic. And then you're looking at it and you're going, Okay,
it's back up to a double digit lead.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
It's just the okay See.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
He's got an accelerator that nobody else has, including Indiana.
Like Indiana will make runs and crazy comebacks. But there
are times where you see the two teams and you
go there's a clear difference between the two, like a difference.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
It seems like Indiana's working harder to get things done
while okay See is just flowing through. That's what That's
what it seems like like. It seems like okay See
is like a loose number two while Indiana is a
hard number two.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
You know what, I mean, one flows a whole lot easier.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
It gets to the whole, you know, it gets to
to the bowl a whole lot easier than the other.
It just seems like the it just seems like, Okay,
C doesn't struggle to facilitate score. I don't know ASGA
makes it look easy. It just always seems as though
it's easier for them to score. Now, that might not
(06:52):
be the case to them, that's just what the appearance
of it looks like.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Yeah, and the Thunder coach, but Jalen Williams is fantastic
last night. He had forty points for the OKC Thunder. Still,
you know, nowhere close to being the favorite to be
named Finals MVP if this is a rap. But their
head coach Mark Daganaw spoke about the performance of Williams
following the game.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Great force.
Speaker 5 (07:14):
I mean that's the word, and we've used that word
with him in his development, and when he's at his best,
he's he's playing with that type of force. And that
was an unbelievable performance by him just throughout the whole game.
I mean, he really was on the gas the entire night,
applied a ton of pressure. Thought he made a lot
of the right plays, and we're gonna need a similar
(07:36):
type of approaching Game six from him.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
You know, normally on this show, when somebody's on the gas,
it means like a PD violation.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
But apparently I got you not he was on the game. Listen.
I don't know, I'm just just the context. Brother.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
I'm trying to f brother, I'm trying to figure this
whole thing out.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
It just I really really hope that we're going to
get a seventh game. I just but I'm kind of
it's not. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Not only are we not going to get a seventh
game more than.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Likely, but.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
I'll be curious to see what what the ratings are
on the game. I mean, I wonder what the interest level.
I think the interest level was probably moderate, as we
well know by seeing the fact that Stephen A, the
the expert of experts was was on his cell phone
playing Solitaire allegedly.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
What I don't know it looked like as what he
was doing.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
I mean, I think he did kind of say he
did it too during uh during a timeout or whatever.
Who plays Solitaire for during a time? It takes a
little too long.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
And then and there there was another video that popped
up of the game actually going on while.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
He was playing, So it's current you know.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Look, I mean, hey, you want to play Solitaire, that's fine.
If you get multitask, good for you.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Man, you found out to be more interesting, you know.
I don't think it was multitasking. I just think you
do things that you find more interesting. Right, Like, when
I'm doing certain things, I will go to either like
whatever I feel is, you know, kind of what I
want to do at that moment, and it's generally something
on my phone, whether it's checking my text messages, whether
(09:29):
it's checking my social media and seeing who said something
crazy on my social at any point, or checking my emails,
or just surfing, you know, just surfing the net, surfing
the web to see what's going on out there, checking
out the news, stuff like that. It's all things of interest, right,
It's all things of interest. So do you do those
(09:52):
things when you're driving a car? You shouldn't. So if
you're out there and you're doing that, I could see
if you get to a stop or a stop light
and you want to do it, but you still should
be paying attention to the road. And that's kind of
like what you should be doing if it's your job.
And you're at the game and you're watching the game.
It's kind of like driving the car. You should be
(10:14):
watching the game, making sure you had your guys on
the game so you don't miss anything. But you know, nonetheless,
he'll still be able to give us some good commentary.
I'm sure there's enough researchers, an army of researchers that'll
be able to arm him with the information that he
probably did.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Not capture with his own two eyes.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Now, he might not have got it with his own
two eyes, but it's okay because there were many other
eyes that got it for him.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Yeah, I mean listening and look, you know, it's not
like this has been an exciting NBA Finals or anything.
You know, some would argue it's been there most exciting
NBA finals we had in a long time. But I
don't know if it was anything other than solitaire, would
you have had an issue with it?
Speaker 2 (10:55):
If it was anything, right, if.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Somebody posted a pick of it being what porn or
something like that, I think I saw one what was.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
It that would befiable?
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Yeah, I mean I might have been proud of him,
you know, like, oh, he's smutting it out, like he's
you know he's he's showing like grown man tendencies.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
You know.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
You know, guys, that's what guys do you know, they
they look at smut for some reason. Good even the
good ones. Dude, don't lie. You know your spouse might
be listening to the show with you right now. They
looked at you. Do you really do that? Just you know,
just take it. I mean, I would just take it. Everybody,
every every one of y'all have weak moments, you know,
(11:38):
I would say, even the ones that pray.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
That would say, there's a there's a clear difference between
you know, somebody on their phone playing solitaire and then
somebody looking at bounding.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Gag dot net while has never heard of it, me neither.
I was just.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
So, look, man, I think it's a positive development, but
it does feel like we're towards the end of the
road here.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
This is a nice story and not boys to men. Well,
I thought that it was.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
If you remember back in twenty twenty two when it
was Celtics Warriors, it kind of played out similar in
the sense that Boston was up two to one, they
had the game four, and we're leading in that game four,
and if they go up three to one, that's probably Curtains.
And then all of a sudden, Steph Curry wills his
(12:29):
the Warriors in a comeback. They end up winning Game
four that even the series two to two. Boston never
recovered and the series is over in six and Steph
Curry's got his fourth ring, and it does feel like
Indiana had an opportunity in Game four to take a
three to one series lead. OKC and SGA put together
a run, they even the series, and now we're starting
(12:52):
to see, okay, this is this is why there was
a difference in the quality and the odds that going
into this NBA Finals. This is why even while trailing
the NBA Finals, the thunder were still the favorite to
win the NBA Finals. You're just seeing that there's a
different level if they're getting to right now in Indiana's
not there. So it feels like we're you know, we're
(13:13):
we're coming up on the end and it'll be Thursday,
So why wouldn't we take more time to get there?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
So they took till Monday to give us this. It
would have been better if they gave it to us
on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Yeah, give us that, give us that l that give
us that kind of like not energy.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Field game, give us a give us that product on Sunday,
you know, like look at the game, You're you're having
Father's Day, you know, snacks. I guess, depending on where
you're at in the States, and see it on the weekend,
you made people like here's the thing. And I guess
(13:58):
it was good enough to watch until the end because
it was close, but still, nonetheless, it just did not
seem like it seemed like it was going to be
a very very tall task for Indiana to get ahead.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Even though they were close.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
It was like always fighting to get to get to
even you know. And so to me, how many people
really on a Monday night when you have work, wanted
to stay up and watch it? Was it compelling enough
programming to want to stay up and watch it? I
(14:43):
didn't have. I didn't I didn't have that feeling of
intensity of man like this is much c TV. But
maybe it's just me Jonas, but I just felt like
this is turned into a total dud, kind of kind
of boring, you know, a boring deal for this whole
NBA Finals.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Right.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Let me ask you this, because now that we're on
this subject, you're starting to get a dose of what
it was like back in the day to have to
stay up to watch sporting events on the East Coast.
Does it land differently being on the East Coast and
the East Coast time zone, knowing that that game started
at eight thirty instead of five thirty, Yes, there's a
(15:27):
big difference.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
Life is different on the East Coast, man, it certainly is.
It's different. I love being there, and I love the
fact that I ain't got to get up early, you know,
to come come do the show. But damn, I mean
this is early to do the show. I mean it
is six o'clock, six am. But for one, I felt
(15:48):
good getting up at the time I got up. I
felt good about my hours of sleep I got still
got me six good good which I never get. Six
hours of sleep, got me good six hours of sleep.
And I did not dream about what I was going
to say as it pertained to the NBA Playoff finals.
I just really did just wasn't on my mind like that.
(16:09):
In fact, I felt like maybe I wake up and
play Solitaire out of my sleep, because that.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Would there you go, huh, that's a good call. I'm
gonna just leave it there.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
It is two pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
So we are going to have the usuals coming up.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
Later on, We've got another edition of In case you
missed it, the Great Pete Prisco's gonna stop by. We've
got Lee's Leftovers, another edition of would You're rather an
hour two? All of it is yours here again on
this three hour extravaganza. Up next, though, there's a team
in the NFL that believes we will be super Bowl
champions very very soon, and they've never won one before.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Find out who it is next.
Speaker 6 (16:52):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio WIPP.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
I mean, end of the row would have been better, Lorena,
But I'm with you though, so slow though, Yeah, it's
a little depressing.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
It was like a slow burn too early in the
morning of something that we're all rady aware of.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
It's cool, it's cool. This is more upbeat? Is this
Tony Tony? It's boys to Medden, Stupid.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
You remember when they got technical about it, like, no,
it's Tony Tony tone No, it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
The funniest is when it was in the movie and
the dude said he was the fifth the fourth member,
and it was Tony. Would have questioned mark the first
three half exclamation points, just like Tony Tony Tony Tony?
Speaker 2 (17:57):
Was he white? But that would have made it better though,
it would have been great. Uh.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe Here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you
coming up in about twenty minutes from now.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
The King has returned. The King is back.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
We'll explain coming up here a little over twenty minutes
from now. But right now it is time for the
tire rack play of the day. Slashing up away from
Nemmark down the lan high out the windows, sets home,
Hi harkn your right hand layup under one ten the
pace of ninety seven?
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Is this some team something? Head through the colon game
vive Jyalen William's Massive for thirty seven.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
That is the tire rack play of the Day, courtesy
of the Thunder Radio Network. For over forty years, Tiraq
has been helping customers find the right tires for how,
what and where they drive. Ship fast and freedback by
free Road has a protection with convenient installation options like
mobile tire installation tire raq dot com the way tire
buying should be. So our friends in Minneapolis listening on
(19:00):
the Yallo Horn of the Twin Cities k fan might
have some good news for you. All right, there's a
lot of Vikings fans who have simply pointed out that
we have not won a Super Bowl. They came close
a long time ago. Some would argue two thousand and
nine was a real opportunity, and then Brett Farv decided
(19:22):
to Brett Farve it up in the NFC title game
and the rest is history. I believe that was also
was that bounty Gate. Was that the bounty Gate game?
I believe as well too. Yeah, got a little roughed
up by Levar's guy, Greg Williams and company there who
was the DC in New Orleans.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
And so.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
There's been good teams there, there's been playoff teams. There's
not been a Super Bowl champion team, but there could
be one coming very very soon. Jeremy Fowler of ESPN
reported over the weekend that the reason the Vikings didn't
sign Aaron Rodgers is because they feel comfortab with where
they're at going to the training camp. When it comes to
(20:02):
JJ McCarthy, they went with McCarthy quote because they believe
in their three year plan a young quarterback they like
on a rookie scale, so you can be aggressive with
the roster. They believe they can win a Super Bowl
in the next three years. Now, it should be pointed
out they spent the second most free agent dollars this offseason.
The Patriots were first. Similar situation, rookie quarterback going into
(20:26):
his second year, probably feeling the same way. But the
Vikings went out. They signed Jonathan Allen, Javon Hargrave, They
upgraded the offensive line. Ryan Kelly and Will Freeze are
part of the offensive line group is now as well
now coming over from the Colts, so sound approach makes
a lot of sense. JJ McCarthy might be the great
(20:49):
unknown at quarterback in the entire NFL this year because
if he can play, look at all the talent they've
got there, which is exactly why Roger wanted any part
of that to begin with, to go down the Brett
Favre trail. Yet again, based on all the weapons he's
got and all the money they spent this offseason.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
Yeah, and they get dorisaal Derrisol back healthy, they will
have one of the most it could be the most
talented skilled positions team in all of the NFL. I mean,
you're talking about Aaron Jones in the backfield, a very
(21:33):
versatile player and a lot of times people don't give him,
maybe the type of accolades that they give Christian McCaffrey,
but it's the same type of back He can catch
the ball out of the backfield. You can use them
in so many different different ways because he's such a
multi dimensional player. You look at Justin Jefferson. We all
(21:58):
know who he is and we all know what that
is is. But the idea that he has the complement
of a maturing and growing Jordan Addison is crazy. And
then to think you got you got a TJ. Hockinson
at the tight ends position. It's a very sound group
of you know, skill wise on on that offensive side
(22:21):
of the ball. And I think what you're hearing is
the idea of not panicking or thinking that you have
to go in some type of you know, different direction.
As it applies to what you had on your roster
at the quarterback's position is because they've done such a
great job of building an offense that you can take
(22:46):
a ton of the pressure off of the quarterback based
off of one having a very very strong offensive front, obviously,
but two having a running back that's a competent running
back that is the number one safety blanket. A tight
end and a running back for a quarterback, whether they're
(23:09):
young or whether they're old, whether they're a game manager
or they are a game changer, those are still the
two safety blankets that are very very positive for quarterbacks,
the running back and the tight end. And JJ McCarthy
will have both of those. And again I think we
(23:33):
have to look back to the fact that JJ McCarthy
was actually the starter of this team. He was marked
enlisted as the first guy before his injury took place,
and that's very critical and crucial to the conversation because
if he wasn't that guy, I think there should be
more conversations surrounding, you know, the idea of can this
(23:55):
team be as good as they were last year? But
jonas they found success with Sam Darnold, they didn't feel
the need to pay Donald the large amount of money
and allow for him to go. That was I think
has been the consistent conversation point as to what this
confidence level of what JJ McCarthy brings to the table.
(24:18):
But again adding to the conversation, the idea of JJ
McCarthy was the guy that was in front heading into
the season. It was an injury. It was not that
he was outplayed. There's no concern in him being outplayed
because that's not what happened. It was the injury that
set him back, and now he's back, now he's healthy.
(24:41):
I think that they're pretty excited about what they have
because JJ McCarthy has never given them any indication that
he isn't going.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
To be the type of quarterback that they need.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
And it also speaks volumes of the fact that not
only did you know Caleb Williams that it's documented, it's
truthful he wanted to go play for Kevin O'Connell like
he wanted to be a part of that based on
their meetings, and Aaron Rodgers wanted to be a part
of pairing up with Kevin O'Connell like he's got a
great reputation around the league. One of the other stories
(25:13):
going into the draft that JJ McCarthy came out in
was JJ McCarthy also had felt like he had a
rapport with Kevin O'Connell and that was a place he
wanted to go. They love the idea of going there,
and so to your point, it's not like this is
just well, this is so foreign to them and you know,
maybe they can work to get No. Clearly there was
(25:34):
an idea that they could work together, that they could
build on something. That's why Minnesota drafted him, and that's
why there was such excitement going into the building. So
we've seen enough from Kevin O'Connell to know that all right,
offensively quarterback wise, I'm not concerned about that. The other
advantage Minnesota is going to have this year is Brian Flores,
who was interviewed this crazy He was interviewed for jobs
(25:57):
this offseason. But he's coming back. So there's continuity there.
And we've talked about it on the show before. Part
of Philly's decline after they went to the Super Bowl
was the fact that they were losing coordinators. Minnesota doesn't
have that issue. Kevin O'Connell's still running the offensive side
of things. They've got Brian Flores back for more. And
on top of all that, there's a lot of question
(26:19):
marks in the NFC North. That's a great point zone.
I don't know what the hell the Bears are going
to look like with Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson. Speaking
of coordinators, the Lions just lost both their coordinators, and
then you've got the Packers. There's probably a lot of
people looking at how the season ended for the Packers going.
(26:39):
I mean, we assume Jordan Love is going to be
the guy, but he got hurt early on in the year.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
He looked a little banged up later in the year.
I think a lot of.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
People looked at the Packers season last year and felt
a little bit disappointed based on how they looked at
the end of the season and going into the playoff game.
So to me, Minnesota being able to drive them.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
Which is the same conversation point for minute, right, Yeah,
but you got two marror image teams and one has arguably,
maybe not even arguably clearly has a better personnel in Minnesota.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
Yeah, So that's a valid point what you're making.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
And then also we do have for anybody that's into
the conspiracy theory aspect of the NFL, for anybody like
Robert Stack and our friends at Unsolved Mysteries, there is this.
Lee de Lap has done some research on a topic
that we've thrown around a couple of times, which is
the Super Bowl logo color scheme and what it could
(27:36):
mean for the future of the Minnesota Vikings. Lee, what
do you got for us here? Can you explain the
story and the information behind this maybe conspiracy theory?
Speaker 7 (27:47):
Well, yeah, as many know, when the NFL changed these
Super Bowl logos to a more colorful, city themed based logo.
This was back in twenty twenty two, the first one
being Super Bowl fifty between the Bengals and the Rams.
That logo, of course in La featured yellow and orange,
and of course we had the Rams versus the Bengals,
(28:08):
So that traveled into the next year where we had
the Eagles versus the Chiefs.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
In Glendell, Arizona.
Speaker 7 (28:14):
That logo was turquoise, kind of green, turquoise and red
of course, foreshadowing the Chiefs versus the Eagles. Next up
we had Chiefs forty nine ers that kind of played
into the Vegas logo as well. It was more purple,
so people were expecting the Vikings at Ravens. That year
there was a big year. Everyone was expecting this theme
(28:34):
to keep going, and of course, the Chiefs did win,
so it did continue to go.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Last year, it kind of fell off the rails a
little bit. We were in New Orleans. The logo was.
Speaker 7 (28:45):
It definitely had the Chiefs colors in it, but it
didn't really feature the Eagles colors.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
So that's where it kind of fell off.
Speaker 7 (28:51):
But then we looked to this year's Super Bowl in
Santa Clara, super Bowl sixty. We've got the Golden gate
Bridge with blue skies in the background, some mountains and whatnot,
but basically a purple underneath forest. And so many people
are looking at this thinking the theme is going to continue,
that the Vikings are going to make it there, possibly
against the Bills, unless it kind of flips around and
(29:12):
you're looking at say a Lions Ravens super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Yeah, well, I mean that's ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
Well, it's not going to be the Lions. We can
that's ridiculous logic.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Well, but let me back up the not going to
be the Lions point because no team that's ever lost
their coordinators the previous year has made.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
It to a Super Bowl. The following year.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
So the Lions, they haven't made it to Super Bowl
with the.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Let's keep that one in mind.
Speaker 8 (29:38):
But so, so you're not you're not buying the long
windy road of conspiracies about Super Bowl logos, and now
this could favor the vikings here.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
The script is being written as we speak. It's a
cute insertion by lead the Lap. It's cool. I'm not
offended by him doing it.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
I'm not offended by this this approach Lee for seas Oh.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
Oh, I like that. That could be a new segment.
By the way, is it really super Bowl sixty? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Lee has way too many segments right now. I don't
foresee there being another lead lap segment.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
I mean, look a dude, I think there is.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
I would say purple and blue are the most dominant
colors in this logo, like if we're being fair.
Speaker 7 (30:33):
Here and yeah, and if you if you look closely
at the Lombardi Trophy, it's got reflections of blue and purple.
But it's the blue at the top of the ball
that wins. So whoever, it's going to be either the
Lions or the Bills that wins the Super Bowl this year.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
Okay, so you think it's gonna be Uh, that's the
only teams that could be. So you're thinking Bill's vikings.
Speaker 7 (30:52):
I'm thinking I'm thinking Bill's vikings all and I'm taking
the bills little stuff on Diggs bowl.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
All right, then maybe he can roll up on the
water there since it's since it's in the Bay area,
on the S S two c's imagine that step on.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
He's like, hey, you guys, miss me.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
He rolls up on the S S two C him
and his brother and they got they got, they got
girls twerking.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
Have the girls twirking?
Speaker 3 (31:18):
They all they got to do is be spectators and
be present, I would assume.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
By the way, lead the lab.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
For those of you that are just tuning in, found
a video online yesterday of a woman tworking on a
boat and she didn't have legs.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Okay, wait for the new one that's coming shortly. In
just a moment. The woman didn't have legs and was
twerking on the edge of them.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
I don't know, imagine imagine getting grinded on by your
carry on luggage.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
That's what it looked like. Can that fit up here? Yeah?
We got room. Oh man, you guys got issues. Man,
really poisoning. My almost just sent this to a family
(32:09):
group text. I'm glad I fixed that. Here you go,
one coming.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
I'm just trying to think, is there any Oh no Jesus,
Oh no no, I can't do this.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
I've seen this one before, very flexible. I can't do this.
Speaker 7 (32:30):
I'm going just one's courtesy of Todd.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Oh my gosh, that's very disturbing.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
It is, Todd. Uh you need you need.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
Something beyond health, like you need like euthanizing or.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
Something to that. Like they just need to end it
for you, my god. Like it does not.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
There needs to be no continuation of any hours, minutes,
or seconds of what you got going on. I'm just saying, oh,
this is I'm just saying because as I'm looking at this,
look this one, this one right here, I'm really gonna
(33:15):
do it, you know, like like I'm really gonna I
can only tell you what Todd was thinking, what he
was looking.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
Oh my god, you guys got issues, man. He looked
like floor mats with smiles. By the way, Uh, just
do a little little heads up here for those for
those of you wondering about the Vikings potentially being a
(33:52):
Super Bowl champion.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
Thirty to one.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
It pays out right now courtesy of our friends on DraftKings.
Thirty to one is the is the the out there
for the Viking?
Speaker 3 (34:01):
So am I wrong for thinking that the New York
Giants could be a dark horse in the NFC?
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Maybe that's the blue I could be.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
I'm telling you, there's something about New York the Giants
that makes me feel like their defense is going to
be nasty. Their defense is going to be nasty, and
I believe that they have enough offensively to be competitive,
(34:41):
like very competitive.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
You think they can make the playoffs? Yes, okay, let
me find this for you real quick here, because there
is you can bet on certain certain odds here on
teams to make the playoffs. The New York Giants to
make the playoffs right now, courtesy of our friends at DraftKings. Efforting, efforting, efforting, efforting,
(35:08):
Bear with me here, Where the hell are the Giants?
Speaker 2 (35:11):
I have their division?
Speaker 1 (35:14):
The Giants are plus six point fifty to make the playoffs,
So that's a decent payout there. They're one of the
teams lowest on that list though there next to the Browns.
They're second to last, so there's a lot of pessimism
on the Giants. But if you are, if you buy
into it, Bar, there's a decent payday for you on
(35:35):
DraftKings plus six fifty.
Speaker 3 (35:37):
I'm just I'm just telling you it might not be
Super Bowl, but it is going. I think you're going
to see a dramatic improvement from the New York Giants
this year. I mean they you know, their back their
backfield isn't you know, it's not a bunch of names
(35:57):
that you would probably know and Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary.
You know, they got Cam Skattaboo, who I'm really kind
of excited to see if he gets some opportunity to
get some burn and what that looks like. But let
me tell you something they have. They they got elite neighbors.
(36:21):
You know, they got Jalen Hyatt, they got Slayton, they
got Darius Slayton, they got Warnell Jones, like, they got
some players on this offense. And I'll tell you what
they are. This is a team that I mean, they're
deep at tight end. They can this is a team
(36:42):
that can make a serious a step forward. They could
take a very definitive step forward. If I'm just thinking
about teams, this totally came from thinking about teams that have.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Blue in their uniforms.
Speaker 3 (36:55):
Yeah, yeah, I mean if you look at the other
teams that have blue on the NFC side, I don't
I think they they match up fairly well against those
other groups.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
The Rams might be sneaky too.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
The Rams are going to be good the Rams. I
don't know that that's going to be sneaky though. I
think everybody expects the Rams to be, uh, you know,
doing what the Rams do.
Speaker 1 (37:16):

he will be returning for the twenty twenty five Nathan's
Hotdog Eating Contest, saying that any sponsorships he has with
plant based meat products, well, plant based products has no
way conflict with Nathan's, which is the only hot dog
company he's ever worked with. He says he's also going
to be aiming to break the record and put down
(39:10):
eighty hot dogs this year.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
Oh my god, it's a lot of hot dogs.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
I ate a lot of wings yesterday, man, and my
belly feels so swollen.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
How many wings do you have? Do you think.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
If I'm let's see, like twelve, it's not bad.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
No, that's reasonable.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
I was at Zimbie's yesterday, shouts out to Zimbie's, Home
of the LeVar Allen.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
Shouts out to Angelo, Yeah, I had twelve. Now, did
you go flats or I do both? Drums? I do both? Yeah,
I like both. I like both.
Speaker 1 (39:49):
Rob Parker's a bit of a douche when it comes
to wings. It's got to be all flats.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
I know. Yeah, some people, some people prefer one over
the other. Not not really me. I don't know. Yeah,
I don't. I don't get it. It's meat.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
It's from the same animal, agreed, It's being fried, it's
being seasoned the same way. Just you know, a bone
in or bone out. I mean, I'm all the way
bone in. Pause, I'm bone out. But we know, we know, we.
Speaker 2 (40:21):
Know I'm married. What else we got, guys?
Speaker 7 (40:24):
In case you missed this, Angel Reese is looking to
profit off of her trolls. You know, she leads the
league and rebounds usually her own, and so that is
uh donned me bounds. Well, she is a trademarked me bounds,
or at least filed for a trademark me bounds, me bounds.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
What a league
