Black and Drag. If you will not, yeah, why not?
Speaker 3 (01:02):
That's got to be racist?
Speaker 1 (01:04):
All right? So, the NBA Draft Night one is in
the books, and you're probably thinking to yourselves, why is
there a night too? And to that we say, great question.
Trying to figure that one out as well. Feels like
they could have dusted this whole thing in one night
and we move on with our lives. But hey, listen,
(01:27):
you know we got to stretch this thing out, gotta
space it out, spread it out, if you will, and
we get to wait and see what happens if any
noteworthy picks are made, much like Bronnie James a year
ago with the Los Angeles Lakers. So maybe that'll it
the draft.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
I mean, Ron Harper had his kid get drafted. You know,
I didn't even see his kid. Why is that? Jonas?
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Look at something else?
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Tell us, tell us what you saw when he got drafted?
What did you see? Look?
Speaker 1 (02:00):
I got an interesting text from somebody, and I don't
want to air this person out because that's disrespectful and
that would feel I feel like I'd be breaking a
code my brother Tyrone, but I didn't want to go.
I got a text earlier this morning that you know,
take a peek at Ron Harper's son. Uh, and most importantly,
(02:25):
who came up to be interviewed with Ron Harper's son
and his brother and and who his coach? Just a
rocket shop? Okay? Well, but came up when he got drafted.
That was the that was the star of the show.
(02:45):
So it's now turned into whoever is being seen with
the player getting drafted now could potentially become or yeah,
or as big of a star or more than a star,
more of a star than the person actually getting drafted.
Remember Will Levis's girlfriend at the draft a couple of
(03:07):
years ago. I don't think they're together anymore. No, they're not,
but I've seen her out in state college. But yeah
she uh yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Where didn't look like they was all like they were
still a couple.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Yeah, well so now it is. So if somebody does
more of the stories, if somebody invites you to a
draft dressed to the nines, present yourself.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
You could get discovered.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Oh yeah yeah, I mean, this is an opportunity that
much TV time, you know, like there's this is a
chance for everybody to get a get a little bit
of shine and you never know. I mean, it was
the old story from back in the day that I
believe it was Pamela Anderson who was noticed at a
game and that's how she became a star. You know, okay,
(03:56):
nice and next thing you know, she's you know, she's
a boat captain. So there's just all sorts of stuff
that could come along with that sort of notoriety and
being seen and getting that kind of a spotlight there.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
So Maria Pizarro, is that her name, Maria Pizzarro? She
was actually So what Jonas is talking about right now
is Dylan Harper. He got drafted number two overall to
the Spurs. Yeah, yeah, to the Spurs. And in his interview,
(04:35):
he was accompanied by his brother and his mother and
Maria Pizarro, who is the former wife of people may
know Ron Harper. If you know basketball won a lot
of championships, was with mj was with Kobe. You know,
he's played with some really great ball players, but he
(04:58):
himself was super dope, you know basketball player. I mean
when he was in Cleveland, he was like the Michael
Jordan of the Cleveland you know, Cavaliers. So he, you know,
Ron Harper was a dope basketball player. Anyway, ends up
marrying Maria Pizarro, I want to say it is. And
she apparently played Division one at a college in New Orleans.
(05:22):
So I guess the credit that the son Dylan gave
to his mother was basically she was his coach when
he was younger. So she got him going and got
him out of the blocks and out of the gate
in terms of the career trajectory that he was on
to end up being a number two overall pick for
(05:43):
the NBA Draft.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
Interesting.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
So she's not only a good looking woman, but she's
a fine woman, like as in she handled her business
with her kids. She raised her kids up the right
way and look at look at hair. Not only does
her kid get drafted number two overall, but in a
crowning moment of her son's career, she gets some some
(06:07):
really cool recording. She does and you ain't you ain't liing? Yeah,
it's not a lie, it's not It's not like this
is an over exaggeration, like I get out of here, this,
that and the other. She is a good looking one.
I mean, it is what it is. She became you
can see, and she became. She became a star last night.
(06:31):
That's how this works, man, like it just so the
game has changed. It's no longer just you know who's
the best player, it's he who's the best player with?
Who are the best players hanging out with? And uh
and she gets a little bit of shine. So good. Well,
she did very well with her her ensemble selection. It
was very simple. You know, it wasn't a whole lot
(06:52):
of you know, she didn't have jewelry on or anything
like that around her neck that like was all crazy
and stuff like that. It was she was very minimal
and her approach. You know, when I first saw the picture,
I thought it was j Loo, to be honest, at first,
the first picture is that surfaced, I thought it was
j Loo, but it was not. And I don't know
(07:14):
what her nationality is. I could guess by the last name,
but I could take a stab at it. But yeah,
I mean she gave off like Catwoman vibes last night
with the outfit man.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Great call, great point. Yeah, so there you go. Congratulations.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Wouldn't be second fiddle to the people, the characters who
played cat one, No no, no, no no no, she would
be okay, she would turn down there. That's fine.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Yeah, it's been eather her based on last night. So yeah,
that is the that that's the update on the the.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Most entertaining aspect of the draft last night. You guys
are welcome. We just gave it to you.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
I mean it was a four gone conclusion. Uh Cooper
flag was going number one overall. Then after that it
was all right, anything else going to surprise us, And
then they walked.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
I was like, whoa, there you go right after so
I had to be outdone by Cooper Flag. I'm just
going to bring my brother and my mom to the
stage with me. Well why are you going to bring
your mom to the stage with you? Because she was
(08:24):
my coach?
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Yes, that's why. Now that being said, uh, we talk
about you know the spotlight. Uh, you know, players being
drafted last night in the spotlight, getting some notoriety, getting
some attention all of a sudden, becoming stars themselves. Who
knows if this is parlayed into some sort of a
(08:46):
sponsorship opportunity. Who knows if this is parlayed and you
know some sort of you know, a TV show or
a something on YouTube like who knows, like, but there's
all sort of you know, there's lots of names out
there you could call that TV show. I've thought of
the first.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
One that comes to mind for you.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Don't you know, I'll tell you during the break and
then if it's suitable, we'll bring it on the air.
But it does bring up the question of being in
the public eye and getting all of this exposure that
maybe some people don't want, and we transition that over
to somebody who definitely doesn't want all this exposure, definitely
(09:29):
wants his privacy, none other than Levar's Guy, Aaron Rodgers.
Aaron Rodgers, while speaking with Pat McAfee did point out,
as we talked about yesterday, listen, he gave his reasoning
behind why this is his final year, wants to appreciate
the ride, the journey on the way out, etc. Etc.
But Rogers also talked about the privacy that he seeks
(09:52):
upon the revelation that he is now married and as
he walks out of the NFL, don't plan on seeing
him anytime soon.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
It's a six society, isn't it. It's a six aciety.
I lived in the public, GUYE for twenty years. I
had public relationship. How did that work out?
Speaker 3 (10:07):
You know?
Speaker 4 (10:08):
I had had people leaking my home information and making
up stories that we bought a house together, people calling
the paparazzi, people you know, posting personal life on the Internet.
And where are we at in society where that's like
the norm? Now that just because I'm not selling wedding
(10:28):
photos to the magazines or leaking personal information or making
a loving post on Instagram, and look, you want to
do that, that's fine, that's your own prerogative. I don't care.
That's just not what I want to do. I don't
want to be a part of anything. I told you.
When this is all done, I'm out. You won't see me.
And I know that I've chosen to be in the
public eye for one more season. So my private life
(10:50):
is stay in private.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Well, talking about bar it's not saying what do you mean?
Speaker 3 (10:56):
And verbal? Can't you know? I know you're going to
turn in the kaiser, So say when you walk out
of the NFL, just know that's just how it works.
You're not You're not a unique case. It's it's definitely
not unique. You know. You gotta you gotta take into consideration.
Everyone is under the critical and scrutiny of the media,
(11:23):
and what can be you know, extracted from all of
these celebrities lives like it, Bro, you're not even in
the top half of oversaturated covered celebrities. That's like in sports,
you you come outside of the realm of sports and
(11:46):
you get into entertainers and actors. Man, if he thinks
he's got it bad, go have a conversation with with
Taylor Swift or Kanye West or you don't think by
the way they cry out for all of that anyway,
the Kardashians like, go check them out.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
Okay, but as far as sports go, there's not a
lot of people that are covered as much as Rogers.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
Is I mean Lebron James, Lebron James, Yeah, whose.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah? Probably?
Speaker 3 (12:27):
Is he the most covered? Is he the most covered
in the NFL?
Speaker 1 (12:34):
I would say, yeah, probably, And and you know what,
this off season.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Just stop to think about it. I guess he is.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Sanders is probably two, and those are two different.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Shador Sanders is probably number one. Actually, you think over
Rogers in terms of overly saturated with coverage, it's probably
Shadoor Sanders right now since the draft, now before the draft,
most likely Aaron Rodgers. I can't think of anyone else
(13:08):
that has been more covered. I mean I can't. I
can't think of anyone. Yeah, so, I mean, but again, listen,
this is all I'm gonna say to this. This is
a red flag. It's a wave, a big, giant red flag.
(13:35):
Why is Pittsburgh doing this? Why are y'all doing this?
This man is living life. He's telling y'all. Like just
blatantly telling y'all, I'm living life the way I want
to live life. I'm doing things the way I want
to do things. I am on my own terms right now,
(13:55):
and when you don't see me playing anymore, you won't
see me at all. I'm on my time right now.
Why why are you bringing in this guy to play
for your team? I'm sorry, Like I just got to
say it. This is a horrible mistake. It's a bigger
mistake by the day. It's a big mistake. I think
(14:20):
it's a big mistake, and it's going to end up
being a costly mistake. I don't see a magical carpet
right taking place and bringing Aaron Rodgers into your your
your team that is in need. They're in need of
a real stable situation. They need to stabilize what they
(14:41):
have going on there, not not plug gap, not not
stop gap, not not plug the hole for a moment,
Like you're taking on water on this ship. You are,
whether you know it or not. Somebody needs to be
real about it. When Steelers are taking on water when.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
They made the they chose stopgap, when they made the
decision to move on from Kenny Pickett and then bring
in Russell Wilson and Justin Fields who were making like
two dollars and twenty eight cents an hour last year,
and decided instead of just giving Justin Fields the opportunity
as the younger player to take the reins and be
(15:21):
your quarterback of the at least near future, they refused
to go back to him when everybody outside of Mike
Tomlin wanted them to go back to Justin Fields. They
continued with Russell Wilson even when they were struggling, and
then after the season they couldn't get rid of Russell
Wilson fast enough and Justin Fields reportedly they low balled,
(15:42):
and so he took a deal to go play for
the Jets. They didn't have any other options like this
just sort of worked in their favor. You always have
other options. You always have other options.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
And even go back to the Justin Fields point, if
you're building towards the future, you have a young quarterback
and Justin Fields, who was a top draft pick at
one point in his career, still has maybe a little
bit more potential in time to be productive, and you
(16:17):
drafted a quarterback that could possibly potentially develop into being
a starter for the future. Oh coincidentally, ironically, I don't
know what you want to call it, but both of
them played at Ohio State, so you have a relationship,
you have a connection between quarterbacks and them going to
(16:39):
the same school. That could be a positive if you
make it one. To me, this direction they've gone in,
it's so far off of the tracks. And listen, I'm
one to encourage thinking outside of the box. This is
way outside of the box to do this, to take
(17:00):
this chance on Aaron Rodgers. I just hope that Aaron
Rodgers takes this opportunity and does it bone Mike, Mike
Tomlin and the city of Pittsburgh on his way out.
I just hope it. I just hope he doesn't because
it just doesn't. It just seems like he's at peace
(17:22):
with where he is in life. He's at peace with it,
and so if it goes horribly wrong, it's like, didn't
work out.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
I just the lack of just no appreciation. You've got
zero appreciation. And it's not even just you know that
you're a PA guy from Pittsburgh. It's what Rogers did
for your career and for you to career. Listen, what
are you talking about Rogers got us on Netflix and
you're gonna sit here and just dismiss that as if
(17:51):
it's nothing and be critical.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Of play the real, good, right, good play it.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Aaron Rodgers is back. He was spotted, so at least
we know he's in the country. Now the big question
is where the hell was he And when it finally
does come out, is he going to get buried by
bitter people in the media that are going to be upset? Well,
I mean there's certain people who have some sort of
an issue with Rogers, but a little bit of an agenda,
if you will. That was he over there to see
(18:21):
the pyramids? Like, is that what it was? He wanted
to go inside there and see you see what all the.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
I mean, that was me saying what's all the hooplaw about?
By the way, that was me. That was my cameo
on a segment shonus knocks, I mean, seizing his his
his his clout meter.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
Listen, some people are different. Some people remember where they
came from. Other people just dismiss it and then you know,
step on things to get to where they are next
in their career.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
Like I remember, I can't say. All I can say
is thank you, Aaron Rodgers and whoever did the show
forgive my homie a little bit of shine. He is
one of the best in the business and should received
that type of credit. So I appreciate y'all taking that quote,
you know, that sound from from our show, But that
doesn't change my my thought process. That doesn't change how
(19:17):
I feel about this scenario. You ever been you ever
been to Mexico City every day? No? No, have you
ever been there? Have you driven around Mexico City? No?
Speaker 1 (19:30):
They have these big ass flag poles using ass flags.
I took it to go so No, it's the biggest
flags I've ever seen in my life.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
Jonas. These flags like they're so big and they're very
very like like just intimidating how big they are, and
they almost look like they're going to like touch your
car from where they're at in the air. They're so big,
and it just commands your attention. Just make that flag
(20:01):
red and hang it in Pittsburgh and that's your situation. Yes,
it should be one of this might this should be
one of the biggest red flag just because of what's
at Steak. I believe Mike Tomlin's situation is at Steak.
I believe the stability of the Pittsburgh Steelers as a
(20:25):
franchise is at steak. There's a lot at steak here
going into this season, and you're placing it on Aaron Rodgers' arm,
and Aaron Rodgers doesn't even sound like he even It's
like a I just want to try one more time
to see if I can, if I can have a
good season before I leave. But if it works, it works.
(20:46):
If it doesn't, it doesn't, and you won't, like basically,
if you won't see or hear from me after the
conclusion of this season. If I did horribly bad, what
doesn't matter? What does it matter? How much can it
matter to you? It's like, have you And here's an experiment, right,
(21:09):
I'm afraid of heights. If you put a line on
a floor, I can walk on that line, won't miss
a step. If you drop the floor out from that
line and it becomes a rope, like a tight rope,
I have no security or comprehension of the fact that
(21:29):
all I can walk on is this rope right, this
line that's that's across. I'll fall off on the first thing.
Then you're like one of those Willndas who didn't make it.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
You know, they always tell you, they tell you the
story about the ones who made it across. Yeah, hell
to keep having them have it the other ones, Hey,
brouh look like breadcrumbswat off a table.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Aaron Rodgers is not doing a tight rope act for
the Pittsburgh Steelers. There is no danger involved. There is
no risk there. The only thing he has here is upside.
And some may say, well, he contained his career. No,
he can't, because what he did in Green Bay is solidified.
(22:12):
So what happened in New York don't matter. And the
and the animals and the history of time, it's a
blip on the radar, doesn't matter. It's a cliff note.
Side note. Hey, and he played for the New York Jets.
His career doesn't matter because he's not trying to solidify
a Hall of Fame career when he went to New York.
He's not trying to solidify a Hall of Fame career.
(22:35):
In Pittsburgh, he has everything to gain in terms of Hey,
I did it my way. I went out the way
I wanted to go, I played the way I wanted
to play a good I had a good season, I
had a good year. Y'all take care. There's no real
connection to the Pittsburgh community. There's no real connection to
the Pittsburgh Steelers team. There's no connection to really needing
to have success. There's no real connection to being motivated
(22:58):
to go out there and ball that. There is no
real reason other than, hey, I want to do it.
Didn't have a good showing in New York. I'm gonna
try one more time before I get up out of here.
I got married, I'm in love. I like going into trees,
Keebler elf trees, eating Keebler products. I like doing what
(23:18):
I do. I want to go see some pyramids here
and there. I've done that. Okay, boom boom boom, but
I'm gonna do me. I'm gonna do me, and you
get that for one year. Red flag, Sorry, but I'm
not sorry. That's a hell of a red flag. That's
(23:39):
his red flag is red flag gets.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
By the way, speaking of red should be pointed out
the great Ryan Music producer for The Herd Fox Sports
radio member is listening to the show and he threw
and we were mentioning players that get covered a lot
in the NFL. He mentioned Travis Kelsey. So that's another
one that need some coverage. But I still I would
Lean Association, Yeah, I would Lean. Roger Rogers and Shadoor
(24:05):
Sanders feel like they've taken the cake this year, this
offseason for sure.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
So Travis Hunter is in the conversation. He's in there. Yeah, potentially,
potentially he's in there.
Speaker 1 (24:18):

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Here, Carlin. Hey, make sure Colin jumps on this red
flag thing, man, Just make sure he has the deats
on that red flag. Bro.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
By the way, did you know Colin got drafted last night?
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Who?
Speaker 1 (24:49):
Colin Coward got drafted last night? I mean, according to
according to ESPN, Colin Coward was was drafted last night.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Lebron James, I mean, Bronnie got drafted last year.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Just kind of an interesting moment.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
Anything's possible, man, I mean, did he get drafted to
the Lakers I'm well, I mean, let's you know, take
a listen. So the Portland Trailblazers select Colin Coward here.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
I mean, look, ah, uh, Malie Andrews does a great job.
She does a great job. Cedric Coward was the was
the name we were looking for. Look, it happens.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
But but Colin got a little little a little low.
That's that's dope. That's dope.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
I mean, it happens, that's dope. I understand, you know, yeah,
that's dope. I'm sure if people people have mistakenly called you, uh,
you know, a different LeVar, like LeVar Ball or something
like that, I'm sure that's happened.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Lamar Jackson ruined my life. So anytime people address me,
they call me Lamar first, and then they try to
act like I didn't hear it, and then correct it
the second time around, like they make it a point
to say my name very quickly. He's ruined my life.
(26:18):
It's just so people know, Lamar Lamar Jackson. If you're
hearing this, you ruined my life, man, because all I
hear is Lamar. I get Lamar every single day of
my life.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Yeah, I get Jonah Jason. The in laws call me
yon Joe.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
Somebody called you Joe the other day. I thought that
was pretty funny.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
The in law's call me yonas so Jonas.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Well, that's correctly, that's correctly said. Though the Jay is
you know.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
You brought up Mexico City earlier. I just jogged my
memory to think about it. They could call you Hoonus too,
you know what I mean? But Jonas is is? I mean,
I feel like that's acceptable, That's not cat Well. Coming
up next here on Fox Sports Radio here on Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe featuring Lamar and Honus,
(27:06):
we are going to a new one.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
That's the new one. We are going with you.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
We are going to tell you how the future might
get a little bit tricky for one negotiation in the NFL.
That's yours here on FSR.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific

App Hi, This is Jay. I'm the producer of the
Paul and Tony Fusco Show. Usually in these promos, they
ask you to listen to the show. I'm here to
ask you please don't listen to the show. The hosts
are two absolute morons who have the dumbest takes on
sports imaginable. Don't listen to the show so it can
get camps.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
Get him cool. Listen to the Paul and Tony Fusco
Show on the iHeart Radio app or wherever you get
your podcast. He's still moving.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Two pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here coming up in
about twelve minutes from now. We will close up shop
on this Thursday morning with another edition of Lee's Leftovers
that will be yours here on FSR. So we were
talking about this collusion unveiling that took place where Pablo
Torre got ahold of these court documents and a detailed
(28:23):
potential collusion in the NFL amongst owners not wanting to
hand out guaranteed contracts. Mike Floria was also part of
this process. But now is the next phase on what
the fallout could look like, and according to multiple players
who routinely interact this According to Mike Florio, players tell
(28:47):
PFT that multiple players have begun to inquire regarding their
rights and regarding their options, both as to the league
and as to the union, and one source with knowledge
of the collusion Grievance told Pro Football Talk that Chargers
quarterback Justin Herbert would be the perfect plaintiff against either
entity because of the exchange between Chargers owner Dean Spanos
(29:08):
and Cardinal's owner Michael Bidwell between the two owners regarding
the contracts given to Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and the
one that they gave to Kyler Murray. So that's why,
you know, we talked to Albert Breer about this earlier
and basically asked him, you know, what does this stuff mean?
I mean, now that we know, because look, the NFL,
(29:29):
you know was I mean, they got away with it.
But once these documents came out, you see the details,
the conversations being had. It's a bad look for the NFL,
bad look for the NFL owners. But then the conversation
turns to what does this do moving forward? And so
we asked Albert Breer earlier what does it mean for
a guy like Lamar Jackson and others following this release.
Speaker 6 (29:51):
I think sometimes players don't fully recognize the power they
have and especially the quarterbacks. And it's it's that's an
interesting thing because in a situation like this, I think
it does illuminate that the only way that everybody's going
to get a full guarantee contracts is if the players
are the most leverage exert that leverage, right, And you know,
(30:13):
like I think the owners have kind of gotten around
the play the quarterbacks setting a standard for full guaranteed
contract by just throwing more money at them, Like, hey,
we would rather pay this guy sixty million dollars a
year and have the last three years of the contract
non guaranteed than pay them fifty million dollars a year
(30:36):
fully guaranteed all the way through, in part because we
don't want to set the precedent that we give full
guaranteed contracts for our other players. Right, It's how much
stomach do you have to go through with it? You know?
And it's easier for guys to do that in their
third fourth contract because they already have the money in
their pocket, you know. So maybe I mean Lamar had
pushed for it the first time, which is why it
(30:57):
took a while for them to do the deal. Now
that he's got his extra money and is talking maybe
he has more stomach to do it. He's in a
unique position where he could really press them on it
and go to war with them on it. And they've
already used one franchise tag on him, so he forced
them to use that. So like he's got a tonnel
average right now.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
So that was Albert Brier talking about the potential of
Lamar Jackson maybe holding the Ravens feet to the fire
when it comes to trying to get a guaranteed contract
moving forward.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
I just at the first time around, you know, and
they were willing to let him go. And at the
end of the day, I mean, it all makes sense
what ab said, But I mean Jonas, Jonas, if the
Baltimore Ravens don't want to guarantee his entire contract, they
(31:51):
are going to franchise tag him, and they are going
to exclusively franchise tag him, and they're going to allow
for somebody to come get them if they want to
come get them, and nobody's going to come get them,
and then he's going to be forced to negotiate the deal.
I just don't think there's any way around it. There's
(32:12):
no way around it. And what's crazy is is if
if Lamar Jackson were to say, you know what, then
I'm going to sit out. You sit out, they will
eventually replace you. You'll play again, because he's too much of
a talent. But I do believe that we have been
(32:38):
shown repeatedly, over and over and over again. The NFL
train only stops. It only stops, but it goes, It
picks up, it drops off, and then it goes to
the next stop. It picks up, it drops off, and
it goes to the next stop. This train has never
(33:01):
been stopped by any one player, coach, owner, fan, media concussions, CTE, bankruptcy, abuse, murder,
drug trafficking, whatever you want to throw in there, this
(33:25):
train does not stop.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
To your point on that, And this is I think
probably the most important part of this discussion. Kind of
underrated several drug trafficking situations in the NFL through the years,
which really don't get talked about enough. Who was the
Who was the Sam heard? I think Sam.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
Heard Dallas cowboy right the receiver?
Speaker 1 (33:46):
Yeah, Sam heard?
Speaker 3 (33:48):
They were both they were were they both cowboys? And
I think say it was it Nate Newton Newton.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
I don't want to I don't want to recklessly speculate
and anybody a drug trafficker if they're not, you know,
that's the last thing we need on this show. But
I'm just heard that heard. I'm sure uh Sam heard?
Did uh?
Speaker 3 (34:08):
I think he's keep the party going on with Dallas?
I mean Greg Hardy, you know right, ray Rice.
Speaker 1 (34:18):
It's just, you know, the part that makes the whole
thing fast.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
Lewis in there for most beloved celebrated players, like was
connected to a murder, Like it doesn't stop.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
The part that makes this fascinating to me is that
it's not as if there's never been a guaranteed contract
handed out in the NFL. It just happened to be
handed out to a weirdo who then proceeded to not
play well and not play that often. It's like that, so,
all right, you tell us, show us that you can
(34:52):
do this, uh, that you can play at a high
level if we give you a guaranteed contract, show us
that it's gonna work out, and then we'll consider this
down the road. And they're like, all right, this is
our friend, Deshaun Watson. Let him be the first. And
it's been a disaster, an absolute disaster.
Speaker 3 (35:10):
And so I mean that's could have been the worst
outcome for players. Oh my god, Ever, you couldn't have
woke up from a bad dream, a nightmare and said
this is how the first major, major, large, big ass
guaranteed contract.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
It's like the first time you convince your parents to
let you stay out late. It's like, hey, can I
please come home.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
After midnight and you wrecked the car.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
It's like, all right, this one time, all right, But
I'm telling you, if you come back late, or if
you come back drunk, this is never happening again. And
you're grounded for the next month, no problem. Not only
do you come back late and you come back drunk,
you come back late and drunk in handcuffs, with wounds
all over, booze all over your breath, like just awful, awful,
(35:58):
first time out to show that you can do it,
and then it's going to work out well for everybody.
And there's probably owners that are looking at at Jimmy
Hasm going thanks, dude, appreciate you, like thanks for putting
us in this spot. Now we've got to answer these questions.
And this is the exhibit a of why we don't
hand out guaranteed contracts in the league. Just wild Man

What do we got?
Speaker 1 (37:47):
Guys?
Speaker 7 (37:47):
We were talking earlier about rats getting a bad rap.
Maybe the most vilified animal out there. Got me thinking,
you know, there's obviously other candidates out there. There's sharks, spiders,
even pigeons. You know, I've talked to you guys about
my pigeons that lived on my patio and that they
just had a new couple hatchlings. Well, I think I
(38:09):
screwed up, you guys, because I had been putting feed
out there for the mama and papa, and then I
realized that the babies, after being hatch have gotten into it,
and now they're too fat to fly. You realize that
they don't eat gin, Yeah, they got they got into
the liquor cabinet a little bit. So now they've just
been stumbling around on the ground unable to fly.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
And I got ready to get a cat or something.
Speaker 7 (38:33):
Yeah, basically, and basically, Now I got bird crap all
over the place because they they had kept it in
the nest and now it's just everywhere because.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
They can't fly. They'll be up out of there soon.
Don't worry about it, especially those coyotes you hang out with.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
Oh yeah, and coyotes. Yeah. I saw a coyote in
the parking lot yesterday, our parking lot. Yeah, I seen
them there.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
No, Now, I got a security.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
No, it was a coyote. It was a cayota. I've
seen him. I talked to him. I was like, are
you a cayota? He said, yes, I am all right.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
Well carry on letting you guys know. I see one
in the parking lot. I'm stepping on the gas. Not
my problem, Not my problem.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
Why one cayota ain't gonna take you down. Man, You
just have a conversation with him. It looks at you.
You look at it. You talk through the eyes.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
Gotta let him know, man, gotta let him know.
Speaker 7 (39:29):
What else were you gonta avert the eyes? I don't
know if you guys caught this. Stefan Diggs renting out
a castle for Cardi b over the weekend. She had
told him that she'd never been able to visit a castle.
She always wanted to. So in France, he uh, he
rented out of castle.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
Man, why you surprise? You mean to tell me that
Prince Tuccy can't also be romantic as well too?
Speaker 3 (39:53):
They living it up, aren't they not? Go? Do you
think around with that that wealthy as young lady?
Speaker 1 (40:01):
Hey, do you think that there'll be the only two
in the castle or you think there'll be more people
there he brought.
Speaker 3 (40:08):
I would assume that, Well, it's a castle. I mean,
castles are meant for a whole community of people, you know,
corks and all that stuff, So advisors, hand of the king,
all that stuff. Slaves, you know, all damn the dogs.
Why not just game of throne? It just all the
way going. Well they call slaves to surfs and dentured servants.
(40:31):
I get it. But there there's you know, the nobility.
What is the scale rules?
Speaker 1 (40:38):
Yeah, come on,
