Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is the best of two pros and a couple
Joe with Lamar Airings and Brady Win and Jonas Knox
on my radio.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Ah, good morning e Buddy Well, happy ay ay ay
uh Tuesday to all. I'm Anthony guard Gatto for Jonas
and my man. I am so puffed up. I love him.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Brady Quinn, Good morning, Brady.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Good morning Anthony. How you doing, brother, my man? I
was looking forward to this. I I love your work,
Buddy Well. I appreciate that. You know, they gave me
an opportunity to work with some folks. You were the
first name that came to mind. Obviously I've been able
to see a little bit of you as well. But
everything going on, knowing what a big Philly fan you are,

(01:04):
some of the recent events and things that come out
in the college football ap pole, I think you're probably
signing more of a Penn State fan than anything else.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
But at least if you're in PA, if you're in
pass Yeah. But when I was sitting there thinking about
I was like, there'd be no one better to work
with for the next couple of days than you, my friend.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Well, I appreciate it, brother, you are the man.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
This is the one of those great weeks where we're
getting ready for college football. The ap pole is out
and I got to pick your brain, all right, because
we're gonna play a game. I'm gonna give you. Is
it Are they too high? Are they too low? Is
it just right? And we'll get you kind of into

(01:47):
a home depot. By the way, let's talk about it.
Everyone knows first impressions start with the first coat. That's
why you could trust Kills Primers for a smooth a
professional finish. Kills Primers now available exclusively at the home
Depot if you're a pro, you know, sponsored by the
home Depot. All right, my brother, let's get started right away,

(02:08):
because Texas gets the top spot.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Arch and hook Horns.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
Yeah, and look, I think they're ranked appropriately.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Look in both the Apeopole and the college Pole, they're
sitting at number one.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
A lot of it has to do with Arch Manning.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
You talked about the anticipation of him being the quarterback
that I think everyone thinks.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
He's going to be.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
You know, his his the lineage of greatness you've seen
from paydon Eli, even if it's Dad Arch, which you know,
I've always seen highlights of Arch. I wasn't that old
Anthony to be able to watch to see our Archie Manning,
you know, playing for the Saints. But from all accounts,
and you talk to a lot of people, arch is
probably closest to his grandfather in the sense of his

(02:53):
athleticism and what he brings to the game.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
Is that fair to say?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Yeah? He could move? You know what's funny.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
When I had my son, I have two boys, fifteen
and twelve, and so I had my oldest Anthony, I
wrote a story for Esquire magazine. It was Q and
A and it was with Archie Manning because I wanted
tips for fatherhood. Yeah, and so I figured I got
to go to the master. So I went to Archie

(03:21):
and I go, all right, listen, I need tips. And
he said the number one tip was he had a
belt and it was a big old buckle on this
belt the number eight. And he said he used to
hang the belt in his room, in his bedroom so
they could see it, and anytime the boys got out
of hand, he brought out that number eight just to

(03:42):
scare him. He said, I only had to use it
one time when they they ransacked a Little League concession
stand and ate all the food.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
And that, which I mean, I'm sure there's more than that,
you know, than just that story.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
You know, like see those.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Two interat Now there's no chance that that was the
extent of what Peyton and Cooper and Eli did and
when they were young.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
They seems like there's a lot more there.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
But I digress.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
That was smart.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
I mean, you go you go to the one of
the masters and how he managed it obviously from a
young age to getting older. But I mean, look, that
has a lot to do with I think why Texas
is where they are. They're they're talented, they've recruited well,
they've developed well. They've also you know, subtly kind of
hit the transfer portal where they do have a number
of you know, stars studded players that I feel like

(04:36):
they can lean on, in particular on defense to last year,
last couple of years, that's probably been the side of
the football that hasn't been talked about as much, is
how much more consistent and how much better their defense
has been at times, Like I would have said two
years ago, probably the better side of the ball. You know,
people look at a Steve Sarkisian coach team because he's
an offensive mine and say, this guy's just gonna dial

(04:57):
up plays. There could be a high they're gonna win
a fifty four forty eight type shootout of a game
that wasn't so much the case. So I think there's
a lot of hype and anticipation. It's funny Anthony used
to ask ourselves, is Texas back because.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Everyone kept trying to procrib them to me back?

Speaker 6 (05:15):
Right?

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Every year?

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Yeah, and I still feel like though for me personally,
I'm still asking the question. I mean, their run last
year was great, you know, to watch what they were
able to do their first year in the SEC. But
I do feel like I need to see it in
order to believe it, because there's just something holding me

(05:37):
back from wanting to put all my eggs in that basket.
Even though the ap pole, the coach's poll has so far.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Well, that's fascinating. You know.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Part of me's given Arch like the benefit of the doubt.
I guess I liked what I saw. I'm curious if
you if you did too, But part of me just
extrapolates that he's going to be that great player, even
though it probably should take a little bit more time.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
No, I think you're right. The thing that stood out
to me the most though, was early on. And this
is just in comparison to who he was there with.
I remember going to see him practice, and this is
back during a period of time when he just got
there as a freshman at Texas and.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Quinn Ewers was hurt.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
So Malik Murphy, who was a really big, strong arm
you know, still still playing college ball.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
That actually a real good year last year a duke.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
But transferred.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
You know, he had a howitzer for an arm, big,
you know, a tall offlet a kid. And Arch he
was a freshman like, yes, he looked small in comparison,
but honestly, quinn Ewers was the one that looked tiny
like compared to both of them.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
Yeah, I'm looking at yours going and everyone. He was
talking about me being a first round pick.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
I go, if teams come watch and look at these
three guys, they're not going to feel that way about
it after they leave. And you know, Arch kind of
held his own. He watched his ball. He's got a
lot of a popper zip on it. As they would say,
he's a better athlete than I think people realize. You
saw I used to see when he was being recruited
some of the highlights from high school, you're like, oh, okay,

(07:04):
Like how good of an athlete is he? He can
get it done, I mean so much. So they're putting
in like a dual threat quarterback package for him, even
when Quinn Years is in there, just to get him
on the field. So I think he's got all the tools,
all the intangils from all accounts.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
Talking to Steve Sarkisian the work ethic.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
The mind behind the game, which you'd expect because he's
a manning, but also how he's approached college football at
this day and age. So I think that's one of
the reasons why people like me are like, well, if
he does what we think he's going to do and
he wants to come out after this next year, he
probably will be the first overall pick because most people

(07:43):
feel like the apple didn't fall too far from the tree. Sure,
and if the film matches it combined with upside and
that's kind of last thing is people would be like, oh,
you went like a couple of years or whatever else
not the NFL. The NFL always looks at guys like
that and says, think about what I could do with
him if that's what he's already done after a year
at college football. They look at guys and think about potential.

(08:08):
That's what everyone gets drafted off of. A lot of
people confuse that for like the resume of what they've
already done at the college level. No, no, no, no, they
get drafted high because some team sees extraordinary talents and
ability in that player and they can take them even higher,
make them even better. All the college coaches think the
guys or excuse me, the NFL coaches think the guys

(08:29):
at the college level don't know what they're doing.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
So that's the reality of it, Like, that's the truth.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Yeah, you're Although all that said, I wish Arts was
on the field in that one play last year you're
at in the shadows of the goal line. I thought
Zark should have had Arts on the field. Then, yeah,
that's a tough spot, you know. I know it's tough
though when you know when you're putting a younger player

(08:56):
in that spot.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Two, what do you say to Quinn yours and kid,
he's kind of been there through a lot of big games.
He's played well in those big games. You know, there's
there's a number of things like do you take the
ball out of his hand to It's not an easy
decision as.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Well, totally fair.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I just when you're in the shadows of the goal
line and you have that athlete, you know, bigger, you know,
instead of running at play horizontal, you got arts to
run forward.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
I mean that was my only thing. But listen, I
think the play call in general is probably what you
could pick at the most.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
You know, Yeah, all right, number two, let's get to it.
You tease it.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Penn State is number two in the country, and everyone
here out east in Pennsylvania is excited because both running
backs are back. Drew Aller is back. They went to
the portal, they got three good receivers, that's right. And
the schedule dictates where it's Ohio State and Nebraska and

(10:00):
standing in the way of a perfect season.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
This is the team that I think, and I would
just I'll simply say this, If not.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Now, then when for Penn State.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Yeah, because outside of that trip to Columbus, which they
get a bye before. And mind you, by the way,
I think their second toughest game on their entire schedule is.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
Oregon at home. Yes, they get a bye before them.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
You know, you get three layups with Nevada FIU Villanova,
then a bye before you face arguably your second toughest opponent.
So the schedule sets up extremely well for Penn State
to be prepared to beat their toughest opponents and I
think even get over that hump. So the schedule's there

(10:45):
for you. You look at the roster, Drew allers back.
He has the potential to be that number one overall
quarterback if he plays the way I think he's capable
of playing.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
They hit the.

Speaker 5 (10:55):
Portal, Harrd.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
The transfer portal was the one spot where needed to
address the wide receiver position, and they did it in
a big way. You know the paynya kid they've got, Uh,
Trebor Payne, the kid from Syracuse was highly productive. He
was going for a lot in the transfer portal. I
know that for a fact. Uh, he's gonna add a

(11:16):
huge element to this offense. You know Kyron Hudson, a
talented player transferred from Southern.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
Cal You don't see that very often.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
He's going to Penn Stake because again, a kid who
showcased ability to impact the team. He's gonna be able
to do that. And the last one was Devonte Ross,
the kid out of Troy. You know he's gonna be
able to also make his impact felt as well. So
all three of those guys I would suspect they got
in the portal ad wide receiver will impact them, help
out Drew Aller and make a big difference. And then

(11:45):
at the tight end spot, you know, I played with
Darnell with Dienkins, which is Cleil Dinkins's down, so excited
to excited to see him.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
He's gonna be really good.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
Luke Reynolds is more of that pass catching tight end
they've got that you'll see come out of there.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
Kind of replaced Tyler Warren. I do as much.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
But offensively they should be in any kodal Nikki's second
year their offensive coordinator, they should be hitting on all cylinders.
I mean, again, you pray everyone stays healthy, but there's
nothing that should really keeping them back.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
And defensively, again, a lot of guys returning.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
Yeah, that you lose Abdual Carter, but you know they
had guys who've been stepping up kind of find their
way in their return and Livemacker has always been a
strong point. You know, the second deary that was somewhat
youthful last year gets guys back. So I just I
look at this team and I say, if not now,
then when like the stars have aligned for this team
to have every shot, every opportunity that they they should

(12:40):
be able to make it past, make it back to
the semi finals and back to a nation and back
to the championship game to win it all.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
That's the team I would say. Now again, you.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Go back to the question I kind of through out
there about Texas something I'm feeling, right, A lot of
people probably feel that way about James Franklin. Hey can't
beat Ohio State, can't win the big game and all that. Well,
they can't until they do. And I think this is
the year where if you're a Penn State fan, you
should feel really good about this team's chance of winning

(13:09):
it all.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Well, and that's here is always the question about Franklin.
They say, well, great recruiter, can build the program, but
can he be a winning coach? Can he win that
big game? Like that's what follows him around here? I mean, truthfully,
if I have one quibble, it's you gotta be able

(13:32):
to trust aler and be a more aggressive offense.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
I mean that kind of out.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
They didn't even have the whiteouts last year, right, all
you had was Warren is your big weapon and your
back's out of the backfield. But now there's no excuse,
like you have to be able to give Alar a shot.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
And I think they will, you know, I think they
do have the bodies to do it. One of the
things we used to joke about, Anthony was you be
put on film and it'd be like Velcrow coverage. You know,
you're looking out there, like, is anyone getting open? Nope,
every dB looks like they're stuck on that wide receiver
like Velcrow. And it felt like that at times watching
Penn State, like they couldn't separate, they couldn't seem to

(14:12):
find guys who get open vertically. And maybe they'll create
some messhaes or some rubs to be able to get
guys underneath, you know, free or running in space. But
again that doesn't really threaten a defense, and you gotta
be able to threaten them down the field. Hudson for sure,
Pania for sure. Those those two will be able to
help out, kind of loosening up the defense a bit.
But I also think you look at the fact you're

(14:34):
able to go in and get to Ohio State's old
defensive coordinator and how that kind of worked out. There's
there's a lot more that plays into I think that
the big game as well versus Ohio State and Columbus
as to just some of the strategicy behind it, if
you will. So I love everything they've done this year.

(14:56):
I do think they're gonna put them themselves in a
great position to get back to It really was like
a bad you know, a few minutes at the end
of the Orange Boy. I mean, they's someone notre of fans,
So I'll be the first to tell you it worked
out in our favor. But at the end, just some
of the decision making, it felt like Penn State got
a little tight and Marcus Freeman and the fight and
Iris had.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Been there all year at times, you know, at.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
Least like kind of playing out some tight games and
making some decisions that ultimately won in the game. It
felt like, you know, that's one of the things I think,
if you're gonna be critical James Franklin is in some
of those tight games, is he making the right decision?
Because to your point about the offense, there was times
where like, you know, we were there for Ohio State
Penn State game and it felt like he wasn't going
for it when he should be. Yeah, it's like, dude,

(15:38):
you got to be aggressive like this. You're you got
to take those shots, take those moments because it's too
good defensive teams.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
So when you get there, you got to go for
a fourth.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Down, have to And that's and that's it. That's why
it's all about this year. So you say, Penn stated
to your good yeah, I actually would put them at one.
You know, I think, yeah, I think coming into the season.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
I'm just saying, if you look at what this team
looks like, what they have coming back, you can justify that. Now.
One of the things I'll say is it's a little
different from the coaches Poll. Coach Poll has my three.
You know, ap Pol has them at two. The Coaches
Poll always does. And this is this is what's great
about the Coach's Pool and you see it come out,
is they're basically telling you, hey man, we tried to

(16:25):
get a bunch of those guys that are on that team.

Speaker 5 (16:27):
We think they're really talented. That's what the Coach's Poll is.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
They either recruited them in the transfer portal or they
recruited him out of high school and they're just going, yeah,
based on the recruiting, based on what I see man,
and I think that's a pretty good staff, Like those
guys should be really good. And then the AP poll
is more of just kind of a wide thought and
you know, some of it's involved around recruiting. Some of
it's just you know, their kind of opinion or what

(16:50):
they saw him do last year, like a lot of
these other factors. The Coach's poll was always simple. If
you look at one to twenty five, they're saying to you, like,
that team's a talented team.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
That's what the ranked were.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
The ranked.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 5 (17:15):
HI This is Jay.

Speaker 7 (17:16):
I'm the producer of the Paula and Tony Fusco Show.
Usually in these promos they asked you to listen to
the show. I'm here to ask you please don't listen
to the show. The hosts are two absolute morons who
have the dumbest takes on sports, imagicable. Don't listen to
the show so it can get camp.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
The get him Paul.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Fool Listen to the Tony Fusco Show on the iHeartRadio
app or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
He's still moving.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
All right, good, good morning. It's a uh, it's a
football morning. It's in the air. We're feeling it. After
the first preseason week it was great and now we
look to week two. This is two pros and a
cup of Joe Brady quint I'm Anthony Gargan. I was

(18:06):
sitting there for the fellas and now joining us the
great Fox Sports NFL network.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
There's no one better than my man, Brian Baldanger. Baldy,
what's up, brother.

Speaker 8 (18:22):
God, Good morning to you, Brady. How you guys doing today? Man,
I'm doing well. Good to be with you.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
Doing well, Baldi. Thanks for joining us, brother, so you've gone.
It was at fourteen teams in thirteen days. Is that
the training show that I saw?

Speaker 8 (18:38):
That's what I did, Brady. I was able to do
both the Ravens and the Jets in the same day.
On a couple of Saturdays ago. I did the Jets
in the morning, then I got my little car and
head down the turnpike. And I got to Owen's Mills
to see the Ravens. So I got two teams one day.
But yeah, I went two straight weeks. Uh, just one

(19:00):
of the see camps, see these guys talk to the coaches,
and so it was a pretty good, pretty good little
stretch right there.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Nobody does it better.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Bald These breakdowns on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok. You got to
subscribe to it. It's great you're a football fan. It's
must see stuff.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
All right.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Give me, give me the three things that really stood
out for you, Baldy, of these camps, stuff that you
really liked.

Speaker 8 (19:29):
Well, I mean, you can't go to Baltimore. I was
in Baltimore twice. Actually, you can't go to Baltimore and
just not admire Lamar and just what he makes everything
look easy. And he's the best athlete on the field.
I mean, I know we know that, but when you
watch him sometimes, when you watch players practice, it's different

(19:49):
than the games. It's just more natural, it's more reactive.
It's just they're they're just out there having fun. I mean,
you can't you can't go to Baltimore not see Lamar
and just kind of marvel at his town. He's only
twenty eight years old and he's still you know, I
think he's still getting better. I think that's one I think,
you know, watching Ben Johnson coach Chicago, I talked to

(20:10):
a lot of veterans there, Montes Wet, a lot of
different guys. They they've been in the league a long time,
They've never gone to a training camp like that. His
physicals was every you know, every practice they were in
full pads, Every drill was full contact. And so I
think Chicago just at coaching. I'm not saying that they're

(20:31):
going to make a leap this year, you know, to
take the division, but they're going to be a tougher
team all the way around. And we I think we
saw that in the goal line stand against Miami the
other night. And then I haven't been to Philly yet,
but I would say the other team that that caught
my eye was just how talented the Vikings are. And

(20:51):
you know, I don't know about the quarterback yet, nobody
really knows yet, but everything around the quarterback is built
for success offensive line to depth on defense, to the coaching.
I mean, Minnesota is an impressive place to see.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
Yeah, and obviously Kevin O'Connell's done an incredible job there, Baldy,
as you know.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
I mean it in years where you're like, all right,
what's this year going to be like?

Speaker 3 (21:14):
And they go rip off?

Speaker 5 (21:15):
You know, thirteen and fourteen wins.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
Was there a player that stood out to you that
you came away thinking, like, I like, that guy's gonna
do something this year.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Like I didn't.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
I didn't think that coming into it. But he's flying
under the radar. That guy's going to do something or
be something this year.

Speaker 8 (21:31):
Well there's Patrick Paul for the Miami Dolphins. You know,
Tron Armstead retired and Miami is doing everything it can
to build a tough offensive line and to be tough
for all the way around, run the ball better. But
Patrick Paul left tackle. I mean, he has everything it
takes Brady to be as good as he wants, and

(21:53):
I think he wants to be really good. He's a
great kid. He's only a second year player. He started
three games as a rook he last year for Armstead.
But he's enormous. He's got the longest arms of anybody
I've seen. I think he has a chance to be
a really good player. His brother plays for Washington offensive
lineman for the Commanders, and Bobby Johnson, the offensive line

(22:15):
coach up there, said he's the strongest guy on the team.
I mean, they've got some bloodlines there in the Paul family,
and I would say, I mean, I know you're down
in South Florida, but that he had a chance to
watch his kid play. He's number fifty two to the
left tackle. He had a really good debut, you know,
in the first preseason game. I thought he was really good.

(22:36):
So that's the guy that caught my eye, and keep
the kids catching my eye.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Let's go quarterbacks, Baldy and some of the young quarterbacks.
Obviously we'll start with Shador. We'll talk about dark Shock.
After going through all the tape with Shad or what
did you see?

Speaker 8 (22:54):
He made really good He made really good decisions. I
mean the two touchdown throws, they're both completely different. One
he's got to really layer the throw between two defenders
that are squeezing, you know, Kate and Davis the receiver
in the end zone. It's a touch throw going to
his left. He's got a square his shoulders and it's
a tight spiral. It's perfect, you know. And then the

(23:17):
second touchdown to Kate and Davis. I mean there blitzing
right up the right in the eight gap right there
from the Mike linebacker, and he trusts the back and
come over and picked him up. He didn't panic, he
didn't scramble, He just basically parried the punch step to
his right set of feet and just threw a dart
blowing away from the defender. I mean, those were great throws.

(23:37):
And then you know, a couple of the other throws
that he did throughout throughout his you know, forty nine
snaps were really impressive. And so I thought he played
with a lot of poise and saw the field really
really well. And the accolades that he's receiving right now
off one preseason game, he probably deserves them.

Speaker 4 (23:56):
Yeah, it feels like a lot of the things that
when you watched in college and they were translatable, they
were on display in the preseason game. You know, his
poise under pressure's poise in the pocket. I love the
fact that he got out and ran more because I
always thought in college at times he left yards out
there where he'd be.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
Kind of hanging, hang and hang and hanging.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
And try to take a big swing down field and
look with the receivers he had in college, it makes sense.
But I kind of kept thinking to myself, like, he's
a better athlete that I think people realize. And at
least he displayed that ability, you know, scrambled around a
little bit. But what was your general feeling? You know,
just look at the Browns this year. I mean obviously, look,
I was drafted there before that grew up.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
A big Browns fan will always be a big Browns
fan is.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
This year because it feels like that's a that's a
place where they've got so much talent boldy. It just
comes down to like can they get someone to execute
at the quarterback splot splash? Can they stay healthy? They've
been riddle with injuries to the past couple of years.

Speaker 8 (24:55):
Well and today I always say Brady, they lost to
Martin Emerson Junior for the year. Really good corner Jim
Schwartz loves to play a lot of pressman coverage and
he was excellent at it. So they lost him through
the achilles injury the day I was there. So that
was a tough loss. You know, It's it's hard right
as you as you can imagine trying to work in
four quarterbacks and you know, Pickett has been banged up.

(25:19):
He's not going to play this week against the Eagles.
Dailly Gabriel similar type of injury to hamstring. They're scrimmaging
twice against the Eagles on Wednesday and Thursday. I'll be
out there Thursday watching it.

Speaker 6 (25:31):
You know.

Speaker 8 (25:31):
It's Flacco wants to play. He wants to play in preseason.
He says he needs a rep. So I don't know
if we're going to see him this Thursday night, but
sure it's gonna get a lot of chances. You know,
if these guys don't play this week, doesn't look like
Stefanski is gonna let them play or they're not going
to be able to They're gonna, you know men right now.
So I mean it might be just a two quarterback

(25:52):
competition right now. Maybe Shador to have a number impressive
showing against a really good Eagles team, really good talented defense.
I think we'll play some of their guys this week.
So but my general feeling is they're not in the
class of Baltimore or Pittsburgh right now, and so I think,
you know, while they might improve, I don't know that

(26:13):
the record is going to be a whole lot better.
I mean, they might win a couple more games, but
I don't think they're ready to compete with Baltimore at
Pittsburgh in that division.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Baldy Jackson Dark did some good things. I thought it
climbed the pocket. Well, what was your observations there?

Speaker 8 (26:29):
I thought he was terrific.

Speaker 6 (26:30):
Yeah, really good.

Speaker 8 (26:31):
He had a chance to play a lot and took
advantage of his time. The touchdown throw to a little
Jordan Humphrey was you know, I mean, Brady will tell you.
I mean he see that guy open now, and it
was a perfect throw on a go route and he
was under pressure. He got hit on the play. They're coming,
you know, right at him, and he stood in there,
stood tall, made the throw and it was a great throw.

(26:52):
So that you know that you always sort of looking
at touchdown throws because that's what it's about. But he
did a lot of little things. I mean, you know,
I had some quick pressure on him, and he was able
to protect the ball, get the ball out. You know,
he climbed the pocket when he needed to, like you said,
cuz under under duress, but yet still was able to
avoid any type of a sack and gain some yards.

(27:16):
And he moved the team. He's you know, they scored
on three of his drives, and so ultimately, is the
team responding to you and he did. Now, when you're
around the kid, he's he's he's a fun guy to
be around. He's got a big smile on his face.
He loves football. He's very respectful of the game, the coaches.
He's putting the work in. You know, I'm gonna go

(27:38):
see him. They scrimmage the Jets tomorrow. I want to
go up there and watch him against the Jets and
just see how he is, you know, in a practice situation,
scrimmage type situation. But you know, he caught everybody's attention
because they have a chance. They have a chance to
be pretty good. They played Washington week one. I'm not
giving Washington a complete w right now. They're gonna be

(28:00):
a much better team at every position, including the quarterback position.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
And their fronts. Legit. Oh yeah, defensive front legit.

Speaker 8 (28:08):
Man, Yeah, hey boy, just because of what they're doing
is Abdul Carter. I mean, they're moving him around. He's
a joker. He played six snaps the other day. He
won all. He won three of the six snaps. He
beat Dean Dawkins clean twice, so you know he's a
Pro Bowl left tackle. We we have a great deal
of respect for Dion, but he is he's slippery now
and he knows how he gets to the quarterback.

Speaker 5 (28:31):
Yeah, he's a special talent.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
I want to ask you about just the Saints.

Speaker 4 (28:35):
I believe you spent some time down there too, and yeah,
that's that's a team that, like, I don't.

Speaker 5 (28:39):
Know if there's any less buzz about where they're at
right now.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
It feels like but but it feels like, uh, maybe
Tyler Schuck will be the answer, at least based on
some preseason I know he struggled a lot in camp,
at least leading up to the first preseason game, but uh,
kind of came out on the other side. I'm not
sure if there's an answer there a quarterback, But just
overall thoughts on the same this season with what you
have seen so.

Speaker 8 (29:02):
Far, Well, I did the the buzz is Keller Moore. Honestly,
Brady like that guy is. He's just a sharp, sharp coach.
They had one hundred and twenty six. I can't even
believe I'm saying they had one hundred and twenty six
play scrimmage. The day I was there, it was a
Sunday and it was in It wasn't the soupy conditions

(29:22):
that were used to seeing in New Orleans that time
of the year, but it was hot. They ran one hundred.
They ran two plays, two games of plays. I still
behind wow Kell the Moore. He called every play for
two hours and fifteen straight minutes. I watched all the
quarterbacks play, and Shuck impresses your Brady from his size.
I mean, he's every bit of six'. Five he's got

(29:43):
a good, arm and he can. Move he can really,
Run so just the tangibles are there now the decision.
Making he saw the pick six the other. Day you,
know it was a lazy, out you, know kind of
prescripted to, throw and he really telegraphed, it you, know
and he got he got it. PICKED a lot of
corners would love, to you, know get a throw like

(30:04):
that thrown. Out but then he came right back to
next drive and he'll Hit Milton tipton on a touchdown,
throw which was. Beautiful so he didn't hang his head
and he didn't you, know going to the dumps after
the pick. Six he came right. BACK i Think he's
gonna be Their day one. Starters it's just there's nothing
Against Spencer. Rattler he just doesn't Have he doesn't have

(30:26):
the size And i'm gonna have the movement That Tyler shuck.
Has they booked about the. SAME i Know spencer played last,
year but he only PLAYED i think four. Games they
weren't very. Good all the receivers were hurt at the.
Time the offensive, Line brady will be, good Uh Kelvin
Banks woga like they're gonna be good up. FRONT i

(30:46):
think they're gonna be able to run the. Ball, okay
they got speed at. RECEIVER i, MEAN i think they're
gonna be a little bit better if the quarterback play
can be improved a little bit right. Now AND i
don't know That Tyler shuck is the long term answer
Or spencer Rat learn. Is i'm not sure if any
of those guys. Are but they're gonna be a little bit.
Better if they stay healthy up, front they should be

(31:08):
a little bit better than they were last.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
YEAR i do Think hellum knows this is a tear
down like, that this is what it. Is that they're
going to go through some some real growing page before
they can turn this thing.

Speaker 8 (31:19):
AROUND i don't know how he. Looks he's a very
positive guy and the guys do listen to, him and
he's not like but he's not like this phony like you,
know he's not a rob row guy at. All he's
just very dogmatic about what he believes. In AND i

(31:40):
think he's got a good staff and SO i think
everybody's looking to him to, see, if you, know they
believe in what he is saying and what he's teaching
him right. Now and so maybe there's growing pains. There
but at the same, time the team is followed with.

(32:01):
YOU i, MEAN i just see anybody laying down on
one hundred and twenty six place. SCRIMMAGE i, mean they
knew what they were in. FOR i, mean that's that's
not easy to. Tell you. Know some of the Veterans
Tomorrio davis Or Cam jordan like this what we're doing,
Today but that's what they. Did all.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
Right let's stay with talk About Kelly. Moore let's go
to the defending Champion. Eagles they dodged a bullet Landed.
Dickerson there was some real scare as to what was.
Wrong at first they thought it was the ankle and Maybe,
Achilles Liz Frank.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
Then it was the. Knee it turns out to be a.
Meniscus they're.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Hopeful he plays that, huge great offensive. Line he's a big,
stalwart big piece of.

Speaker 8 (32:43):
It Because landing is always. Hurt he's always. Hurt if
there's just nothing, new the guy just plays through. This
though he played hurt At. Alabama he's played hurt his whole.
Life like he's played with broken fingers and he's dislocated.
Elbows like it's just he's just a big old country.
Boy you, know give, him give him a room to go,

(33:06):
rebuild like he's. Fine you, know the guy could build.
Anything the guy who's gonna be eating you, know hot
dogs on the, sideline he's gonna be out. THERE i
believe he's gonna be out There week one against The.
Cowboys if he doesn't play The, cowboys he's got ten
days to get ready for the next. Game he's gonna
be out. There it's just it's just who he. Is, like,

(33:26):
yeah it's a, stare but he's not gonna miss a
lot of, Games.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
Hey, baldy last one for. Me curious about The jets,
again new head, coach new. Quarterback a lot of talent
though throughout that. Roster what do you see from The
jets this.

Speaker 8 (33:39):
Year i'm gonna see him, Tomorrow. Brady you, know it's
interesting Under robert. Style i'm not here to throw him
under the, Bus. Brady but they never had any officials
out at, practice And aaron, Like Aaron glenn's, like we're
not doing What The jets led the league in penalties
last year and penalty yards and penalties they were. Atrocious

(34:02):
and they had a couple of the other nights the
other day and he was going ballistic on the. SIDELINE
i think they're gonna be better for that. Department they're
not gonna beat themselves as badly as they did last.
Year the offensive line played very well up. Front Joe
tipman went from center to left guard the other. Day
he looked really good at. Guard member looked. Good. UH
i think they're gonna be able to run the ball pretty,
good you. KNOW i think what we saw From Justin

(34:25):
fields is what we're gonna. GET i don't think he's
gonna wow you with a lot of great decisions in great,
touch but he's a great. Athlete he's gonna make the
throws that are. There and then, DEFENSIVELY i think they're
gonna be really. SOUND i don't think they're great. DEFENSIVELY
i don't think they have great depth on the defensive.
Line But Jermaine johnson coming, back if he's really, healthy

(34:47):
it's gonna help them a. Bunch BUT i think they're
gonna be you, know they'll probably compete With miami for
that number two position in THE Afc.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
East right, now all, RIGHT pauli H, Cowboys what in
the world is happening down?

Speaker 8 (35:05):
There, well it's what usually has, happened you. KNOW i,
mean they Don't Michael parsons has been the best player
since the day stept on the field four years. Ago
and for them not to recognize that and not get
the deal. Done When Miles garrett gets his done And
max gets two of his deals, done he's got Two
max contracts since he's been there in The raiders, stinks you,

(35:26):
know and have him. Bad for them not to recognize
that About micah and just take care of him is
kind of ridiculous to. Me BUT i don't. Think you,
know they won seven games last year and they were
really an injured, team losing a lot of good players
too much of the stretch they look like they look
like the third best team in the division right, now

(35:48):
and a team that will struggle to get over five
hundred at this.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
Point, wow what do you think? It shot in the.

Speaker 8 (35:54):
HUMMER i Like brian. PERSONALLY i don't know. THAT i
don't know he's gonna be like as a head, coach
but he's been solid as a, coordinator AND i like
his acumen and his belief, system AND i like the
way he. Coaches you, KNOW i, mean he's not his
father by any, stretch but he's learned a lot from his.

(36:14):
Dad SO i would say, that you, know he's he's
got to give him a chance to go see what
he can do right. Here but you, know it's about
control down there In, dallas And jerry wants to Control.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Brady baldy AND i live near each. Other, right there's
no better house Than baldi's. House it's like out of
like This huskin. Countryside he's got like a green. House
he's got this big pool and by the, way there's
always people at the.

Speaker 8 (36:44):
Pool.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
Yeah, right this is the greatest. House he's got a coy,
pond like you governed his.

Speaker 4 (36:51):
House hold on, BI i have TO i Have that's
WHERE i have to inquire a little bit deeper here
about the coy pond because var who usually is on the,
show he had a coy pond back when he was
With washington and unfortunately there was a storm.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
The you, know they didn't have a.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
Generator the generator and went out and allus koi pon
koy up dying in the coi. Pan, now the problem
is he hit a coy pod inside his, House, Baldy
so you can imagine the STENCH i.

Speaker 3 (37:23):
Smell which, Which, look where's your coy?

Speaker 8 (37:28):
Pon, yeah my koi pond is in the back of
my back, garden, uh next to my fire pit back.
There the koi is not getting inside the. House every
once in a, while you, know every once in a,
while a blue heron will come down and you know,
attack you, know a koi. Fish i've got these nets

(37:49):
up that you, know kind of prevent. That so a
koi will die for different. Reasons BUT i would never
ever put a coy pond in the house for that.
Reason but this this, year the cooi look. Fantastic they
bred over the. Winter they're getting. Big. Uh there's a
bunch of different colors out there right. Now i'm going
back to WHEN i hang up, Here i'm going into

(38:10):
the back to check it out and just see how
they ben Since i've been In la the last four.

Speaker 3 (38:14):
Days your? Home how are you be home?

Speaker 8 (38:17):
For i'm here to see these scrimmages AND i gotta
go back To la On. Friday oh, man.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
He's my it's my. Escape pause, Ball. BRADY i was just,
say where's the?

Speaker 5 (38:28):
Invite?

Speaker 3 (38:29):
Ball do you gotta get the?

Speaker 8 (38:30):
Man, well he, said he's had some moments over. Here
we've done a co few things in the.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
Backyard you're in the best brothers all, right, yeah, man
all the, dude it's like to playboy manson and, LISTEN
i live A monday.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
Life.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
FATHER i coached, football, basketball, baseball right, Like i'm just
and so it's eight to go Over baldy's. House and you, know,
well and you can always.

Speaker 5 (39:04):
Live viciously through live vicariously through exactly.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
Exactly be sure to catch live editions Of Two pros
and A cup Of joe With Brady, Quinn LeVar errington
And Jonas knox weekdays at six a. M eastern three
Am pacific.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
With a lot of fun talk to. College, now let's
look SOME.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
Anfl Pete prisco TERRIFIC nfl columnists FOR Cbs sports and
analysts FOR Cbs sports H. Q you can check them
out At PRISCO cbs joins.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Us that's all a LITTLE Nfl, Petey good. Morning what's up?

Speaker 6 (39:41):
Guys how are you?

Speaker 3 (39:42):
Good? Brother good, bro long. Time good to talk to you. Again.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Man, uh let's get right to it With look at
let's look at The.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
Browns look at your. Door they're In philly this.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
Week they're, here uh WHERE i am for a little
uh uh joint pro practice with The. Eagles flacco is
going to get the, uh you, know the most of the.
Reps saturday's the. Game where should? Door?

Speaker 3 (40:09):
Now depth? CHART i know they're banged up a little
bit down.

Speaker 6 (40:13):
There, well if they're, HEALTHY i think he's still. FOURTH i,
mean here's the thing about. Preseason you put him into a,
game and, look he did some good, things he did
some bad. Things it was it was pretty. Good but
if you're going to go, say well he should be
number two, now then you just discount everything that's gone
on from the time he was drafted to that game

(40:36):
and that makes you, say, Well Kevin stefanski must be
an idiot then And Kevin stefanski is not an, idiot
and neither are the offensive. Coaches SO i think we
get too caught up in what happens in a preseason
game when you're playing against Guys vanilla's scheme. GUYS a
lot of those guys aren't even going to be playing
anymore after after a couple of, weeks and so you

(40:56):
can't just discount the work that's happened.

Speaker 8 (40:58):
Already.

Speaker 6 (40:59):
Now having said, that if he goes and gets to
work this, week impresses with the ones or, two's and
then you move him up a little, bit then you, Say,
okay well let's see what he does this week in the.

Speaker 8 (41:09):
Game BUT i think to just.

Speaker 6 (41:11):
Put him as the number one or number two quarterback
after one preseason game is.

Speaker 4 (41:15):
Absurd you, Know Anthony pete AND i have worked together
and then hl a kind of for a long time.
Now and one of the THINGS i know About pete
is this is you didn't like how he came into the,
stadium did?

Speaker 5 (41:24):
YOU i know you saw it on social.

Speaker 8 (41:26):
Media.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
Yeah it definitely. Bothers you don't act like it didn't
bet he did, It Brady, Brady.

Speaker 6 (41:32):
That stuff doesn't bother. ME i just i'd look at
it and now to the point, where, okay come in
any way you want. TO i, mean and, again it
makes it about, himself but it. Doesn't it doesn't bother.
Me it never had.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
On hold, on hold, on hold. On you're only saying.
This you're only saying this because it went.

Speaker 4 (41:47):
Well if it didn't go, well that you would definitely
be pointing that out AS i always got a big
boom box and some dude caring a was it a,
STAFF i don't even know what that guy was caring.

Speaker 6 (41:57):
With that was a, team that was one of his.

Speaker 8 (41:59):
Teammates, mean what what the hell is he? DOING i,
mean you should.

Speaker 6 (42:02):
Be worried about your own. Stuff, yeah from that, STANDPOINT i,
look is it over the? Top, probably but they look
at the look at the way THE nba players come in,
now AND i, mean give me a, Break it's just
part of the. Process, now Old pete might, have you,
know ripped out the shreds and now and now just
go play, football all?

Speaker 3 (42:21):
Right all? Right all?

Speaker 4 (42:21):
Right so that being, SAID i want TO i want
to ask you about some of the other rookies BECAUSE
i know you're a tough greater on these. GUYS i
watched Cam warden kind of felt similar to SHADOR i
thought he did some good. Things there are some things he's,
like all, right you, know all the guys feel like
they're holding onto the football a little bit too, long
even like first read timing routes not going to ball
out fast. Enough but again it takes, time, right they're still. Learning,

(42:45):
well what do you see from Cam Woard does it
give you any optimism or hope for The titans this?

Speaker 6 (42:49):
SEASON i, mean there was you're, right there were some
really good throws in, made but he held on to the.
Ball and, again open in THE nfl is different than opening,
college and you know that break you play the, position
you've got to get used to. That AND i think
even in a preseason game where the speed isn't close
to being what is in the regular season, game it's
different and so you've got to you, gotta you, know

(43:09):
turn it. Loose when when a guy's open in THE,
nfl it's different than being open in, college and so
you've got to get to the point where you understand.
That AND i think right now they're looking for wide
open guys and that's why they hold the. Football but,
yeah he made a couple of good. Throws you, know
he made a couple of decisions that were you, know
he should have been picked off on one play on the.
Sideline it was a terrible, throw you. Know and then

(43:30):
you go To Jackson dart he did some good things
and and but, again you're playing against guys that aren't
going to be in the. League you're playing against vanilla.
Defenses there's not a lot of.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
Complains you're, right you're spot on about the whole preseason.
Thing you're, right it. Is and he, calls this is
what we.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Have we're going to blow it out proportion because this
is what we see and we're conditioned to discuss, it
and we.

Speaker 3 (43:56):
Will blow it completely out of.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
Proportion that me ask you about what's going on In minnesota,
though all, right what's really going on.

Speaker 3 (44:03):
WITH jj and that?

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Team he's got, everything a, defense incredible offense around, him
AND o, line a great.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
Coach what's help with the?

Speaker 8 (44:14):
Quarterback, WELL i was a big fan of the quarterback
coming into the. League i'll be honest about you about.

Speaker 6 (44:20):
IT i THOUGHT i thought he was. OKAY i was
concerned about him in THE. Nfl, again he can move,
around he's, ATHLETIC i don't think he's a great, passer
AND i think there's concern about. Him AND i you,
KNOW i had heard that a couple of weeks ago
from somebody in the league that told me that The
vikings were concerned about his accuracy more than. Anything and

(44:41):
if you look at his first throw of the, game
it's a. Completion so you look at the play sheet
and you, go, oh, oh he completed a throw to the.
Outside not. Bad but then you look at it and
it was like a foot Behind Jordan, madison who made
a great catch to pull it in and make it a,
Completion and so you look at it and, go that's a.
Negative and So i'm worried about the accuracy of. J. J,

(45:03):
McCarthy AND i think from what you hear around the,
league The vikings are a little concerned about it as.

Speaker 4 (45:07):
Well, YEAH i think that's one. Thing just watching some
of the snaps and watching even his throwing. Motion you,
know it's IT'S i don't want to get into dissertation about,
this but you, know nowadays they kind of teach more of,
this like kind of not.

Speaker 3 (45:19):
Side, arm but it's definitely a lower arm.

Speaker 4 (45:21):
Slot and the problem is you can't you got to
be still able to like articulate your arm high, low
all these different things like a.

Speaker 5 (45:27):
Shortstop you, know you got to make.

Speaker 4 (45:30):
It don't have a number of, throws and they don't
teach that. Anymore so his specific MOTION i think could
can lend up you end up having some.

Speaker 6 (45:36):
Issues PE's it's not a pretty, motion is?

Speaker 8 (45:40):
It brady?

Speaker 5 (45:41):
MOTION i won't say.

Speaker 3 (45:43):
THAT i won't say.

Speaker 4 (45:44):
THAT i mean he's he's throwing how he's been, taught
and that's very similar to a lot of kids.

Speaker 3 (45:48):
Nowadays it's just the arm. Slot it comes out so much.

Speaker 4 (45:51):
Lower and with all THESE i, mean guys are only
getting taller and longer up, front you, know so guys
don't even have to get home anymore to affect the.

Speaker 5 (45:59):
Pawer so they just got to stick their arms.

Speaker 6 (46:01):
Up and he had a ball, tip and he had
a ball tip the other.

Speaker 4 (46:03):
Day i'll he'll have a number of them. TIPS i,
mean if he keeps the armslot down low as it.
IS i want to ask you about The. Giants want
to ask About Jackson dart another another rookie, again kind
of same. THING i know you had a nice touchdown,
throw but some things, TOO i think you still got
to develop on what'd you see from?

Speaker 3 (46:22):
Him does he give you any? Hope you think he's
gonna beating out your, Guy Russell.

Speaker 8 (46:24):
Wilson, WELL i don't think he's going to beat him.

Speaker 6 (46:27):
Out but The giants are in a tough situation right
now BECAUSE i think you, know the coach needs to,
win THE gm needs to, Win so in their, mind
you start out the season With Russell. Wilson but the
reality is you drafted that kid to be your, future
and the sooner you play, him the sooner you get
to your. Future SO i think they're caught between the
two of. Them, personally if it were, ME i would

(46:49):
Play jackson. DARK i would get on with. It you
know HOW i feel about, That. BRADY i think you
find the, guy you draft the, guy you play the,
guy and then you get on with, it and then
you're sooner rather than later finding out if he is
your long term, answer because if he's, not then you
got to go back into it in a couple of
years and get another. One SO i think The Russell
wilson playing it all does is delay the, inevitable and

(47:11):
as a veteran's, quarterback if You're Russell wilson and you
know that kids standing, there and you go out in
the field and you, have you, know a quarter of
terrible throws and then all of a sudden you start
thinking about. It you have another quarter of terrible. Throws
they might make a, change and you know that in
the back of your. Head it's hard to play sports that.
Way and that's WHY i, think ULTIMATELY i Think jack
And dart will be the starter at some point this
season when who knows. THAT i would probably start the

(47:32):
season with him because of the, future not because of this,
year but because of the. Future.

Speaker 2 (47:35):
Yeah and if you're if your ownership, don't you got
to look at how they finish and wait it on
How dart looks the last quarter of the, season and
if there's an, uptick then your answers made for. It
then you Keep dable BECAUSE i Think. DABLES i still
Think dabel's a good.

Speaker 3 (47:52):
COACH i do.

Speaker 6 (47:54):
TOO i Think dabel's a, good good, coach good offensive.
Coach and if you have a guy and you find
out you Have, dart And brady knows, This if you
If darts the, guy and you realize, that why do
you want him to start all over again with another
off system another offersite. Coach and so if there's some you,
know rhythm there between the two of, them then make him.

(48:14):
Stay and So i'm with you on. THAT i think they.
Have but they have to find out what he is
and if he's their, guy AND i think that to play,
HIM i.

Speaker 2 (48:21):
Agree i'm with. You, uh let's look at THE. Nfc
brady brought it. Up anyone who's the biggest threat to
The eagles Green?

Speaker 6 (48:32):
Bay, wow The Green Bay Packerson AND i Love.

Speaker 3 (48:38):
GOLDEN i thought that was a great pick.

Speaker 6 (48:39):
Up he hasn't dropped the pass in the entire training. Campus,
UNBELIEVABLE i, mean And i'll tell you. What the DAY
i was, THERE i was there for two. DAYS i
want two days of. Practice he made a catch in
the back of the end zone where he just it
was like a vacuum sucking it.

Speaker 8 (48:53):
In he was like.

Speaker 6 (48:54):
Extended AND i talked to him about. IT i, said you,
know and one of the reasons That i've noticed all
around the WHEN i see these young receivers WHEN i
go around the, league their hands are. Amazing you. Know
back in the day it Got bobbo or. Something early
on they played so many seven and he talked about
this so many seven on seven camps growing. Up you,
know back in the, day you would have none of.

(49:14):
That you'd play out sports in the. Summer, well now
they play seven and seven year round and they learn
to catch and their hands are, incredible and so he's
he's going to add a big time threat to their.
Offense watson needs to be, back And i'll tell you
what he's running. Already i'm like some of those guys told,
me they, said it's hard to bleep that he even
tore that. Thing they don't think he. DID i mean he,

(49:35):
did But mack like he, did and so he'll be
back sooner rather than. LATER i think that The Jordan
love played all last year. Hurt people don't realize, THAT
i mean until late in the, season but he was
hurt all. Year heard in the, beginning got dinged up
again during the, scene didn't practice a. Lot he's a
guy that needs to. Practice he's healthy. AGAIN i think
they're going to be good on really good on, offense

(49:55):
AND i think they've added some pieces on. Defense there's
still some concerns the quarterback. Position you, know They hobbs
is banged up right. Now as a concern BUT i
do think that defensively they'll be, better AND i think
they're gonna be really good on. Offense.

Speaker 4 (50:07):
Pete last one for, me, BROTHER i want to ask
you about preseason records and if they, count because when
you kick a seventy yard field, GOAL i feel like
that should count as AN nfl, Record Although i'm not
quite sure on.

Speaker 3 (50:22):
This do we? Do we know the answer to, that,
like does it don't? Count So little's kick doesn't?

Speaker 6 (50:27):
Count doesn't? Count has, No it's as if it never,
happened and you, know look it's preseason. One if a,
guys oh stop.

Speaker 3 (50:34):
Man it was four yards further than than you, know
the historic. Law it's.

Speaker 5 (50:38):
Ridiculous those unbelievable.

Speaker 6 (50:39):
Kick by the, way have you ever seen that? Kid
he looks like he's fourteen years.

Speaker 4 (50:43):
Old, yeah that's What i'm. Saying even more, so let
the kid have. It it's like you're taking away the
kids home run.

Speaker 3 (50:49):
Ball.

Speaker 6 (50:49):
Pete, yeah, well look it's a it's a great. Kick
but what about if you make one in practice from seventy?
Yards you that count? Too is a record?

Speaker 4 (50:56):
Break, no but we've got, officials we're counting, that we're keeping,
score we're out the wheel witnessed.

Speaker 6 (51:01):
It all, right how about a a in a joint
practice where you have? Officials should that?

Speaker 4 (51:05):
Count, no because we're Not first, off that's not take
is not. Filmed it's not a. Statement it's not the whole.
Thing LIKE i think it should.

Speaker 3 (51:12):
Count it's.

Speaker 6 (51:12):
PRACTICE i think it should.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
Count but you know he does Now i'm with it, Open,
YEAH i mean, okay.

Speaker 5 (51:20):
Okay so hold on real, quick real.

Speaker 4 (51:22):
Quick if you get if you, okay this is for
both you, guys then if you get a hole in
one on a par three, course does it count as.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
A whole in?

Speaker 5 (51:29):
One?

Speaker 3 (51:30):
No, okay all, right at least you're. Consistent at least
you're reponse.

Speaker 6 (51:35):
Rady you know what it does now, though by making
that kick anytime they're, across.

Speaker 3 (51:39):
Like everyone's going to try it Now yeah, no, no
not just going to try.

Speaker 6 (51:43):
It but In, jacksonville every time they go, across they, say,
okay bring them, out bring them. OUT i, mean you,
know you gotta be careful with that because sometimes you
over overkick it and ruins everything else that you're trying to.
Do because he's such a he's a great. Kicker that's
one thing they have In.

Speaker 8 (51:56):
Jacksonville.

Speaker 6 (51:56):
Damn they probably have four for. Four, yeah he's a great.
Kicker the punters are, great and then then the deep
snapper is one of the best in the. League they
have great special. Teams so they got that going for.

Speaker 4 (52:06):
Him that's, it that's that's all going for.

Speaker 6 (52:11):
Him, no THEY i, mean but you know, what you
know HOW i feel about special. Team but if your
special teams are, good it's not to. Happen but, no
they Have they have a lot going for. Him but
their defense was terrible the other. Night and again Though
Anthony kepanelli is a good defensive coordinators to show a
bunch of different, looks either be exotic Like Brian. Ploys
do you know what he showed the other?

Speaker 8 (52:30):
Day?

Speaker 4 (52:31):
Nothing, nothing, Nothing, yeah that's, yeah gots, yep that's, it right, on,
