Breer here coming up just a couple of moments from now.
He's got a lot to discuss, lots of news and
notes from around the NFL.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Until we get them. Have you have you guys ever?
Like I got to pack up for my trip this weekend,
and I like, I really take pride in what my
sneaker game, like how it is. Have you ever found
yourself in a sneaker dilemma? Like I'm looking at while
I'm doing the show, I'm looking at my sneakers and
I can't decide which pair I want to go with
(01:57):
this weekend? Have you ever had that dilemma?
Speaker 5 (02:01):
And your as a forty year old man, now I
have not. Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
So you're trying to say, kids, do that what was
the what was the message or the meaning behind what
you just hit Brady Quinn.
Speaker 6 (02:17):
No, I'm just saying I don't work. I've ever dealt
with that in the forty years of my life so far.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
How many pairs of sneakers do you have you?
Speaker 5 (02:26):
I would say probably too many?
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Really, Yeah, I bet you AB has got a strong
sneaker game.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Man. Can I tell you what I do?
Speaker 4 (02:37):
I bring.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
I bring one pair and it's black, and that's your whole.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
But that's outfits to the same outfit.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
And I don't give myself options to have a dilemma
about is what it is. If you can't make a match,
you can't make a match. So I look at it, okay. Plus,
the shoes take up way too much room, so if
you're you're not gonna want to check it back what
I'm looking at, you know.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
All right?
Speaker 3 (03:02):
So that being said, we now welcome in our guy,
albu Preer, Senior NFL Report lead content strategist for the
m MTV. You can get them on X at album
rear a B. Good morning. Do you have a shoe
dilemma when you travel at all?
Speaker 7 (03:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (03:17):
Sometimes I do.
Speaker 7 (03:18):
I mean it's it's just like that, which wuch which
one of you guys brought that.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
Up how I'm having a shoe.
Speaker 7 (03:25):
So checking a bag is usually the biggest problem is
they take it.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
You getting good sales service is the biggest thing. We're
all right, you're good, Now, you're good. Now go ahead.
What we're saying checking bags is what we heard. Go ahead.
Start from there.
Speaker 7 (03:48):
I mean the shoes you can.
Speaker 8 (03:52):
If you want to.
Speaker 7 (03:53):
If you don't want to check a bag, then that
becomes a real problem, right, Like so it's how many
days you're going away for and then like how many
pairs is you pass?
Speaker 8 (04:05):
If you aren't going to check a bag, that's right.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
So you know how I've I've figured out that if
you get a a shapeless backpack, like it doesn't have
like the panels and all that stuff, and it's just
a bag which straps on it, I put my sneakers
in there because I wear thirteen So I put my
sneakers in the backpack, right, and and the carrier I
(04:32):
put my clothes in the carry on whatever. Yeah yeah, okay, yep, yep, yep,
I put yeah, man, yeah, just giving you a little bit,
you know, I can I can fit about three pairs
of thirteen's and the little backpack that I got and
then it works.
Speaker 8 (04:48):
So right in there.
Speaker 7 (04:52):
That doesn't mess with them though, Like you don't have
to scrutch them in there to screw them up.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
No, nope, I put them in there and then no
works out because it's just a it's a loose it's
a loose bag, you know what I mean. It's just loose.
So stack them on the bottom, stacking on top, put
that thing on your back, and get going. You did
what I'm saying, there you go. That's how we make
it work. Speaking of getting going, Uh, what's your what's
your take on tonight's matchup the throttle between Arizona and Seattle.
(05:22):
Q seems to think that the Seattle Seahawks are heading
towards a playoff bid birth and going to win the
West and possibly when the NFC better than we.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Expected this year, right.
Speaker 6 (05:40):
Apparently according to LeVar, which sounds like revisionist history. But
I mean, I said, I don't think anyone thought they'd
be two and one by this point.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
Sam Donald's playing as well as he has the past.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Couple of weeks.
Speaker 7 (05:52):
All right, Well, first of all, I do think like
my one to one, what's your plan there?
Speaker 8 (05:57):
You know, LeVar would be dress shoes.
Speaker 7 (05:59):
I thinks she might be a little tough in the
backpack because you don't all lose his shape.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Right, that's true. No, that's true. If you're going hard bottoms,
that's a little different, right, right, right, all.
Speaker 7 (06:08):
Right, Yeah, I want to make sure we got that
that that perfect. Seattle's played really well, Like I think
the guys in that locker room would tell you that
they feel like they should be three and oh based
how they based on how they lost that first game,
and they've been relatively dominant since. And I think you know,
a big piece of where Seattle is right now is
(06:29):
you know, I sort of you've done similar to Green
Bay coming into the year where they've drafted pretty well
the last couple of years.
Speaker 8 (06:35):
And they've got like a they've got like a good.
Speaker 7 (06:38):
Core of of of of young players where I think
the biggest question was can those guys elevate to being great?
Speaker 8 (06:45):
Right? Like, so it's guys like.
Speaker 9 (06:47):
Charles Cross and Jacksonson, then Jigba and Kenneth Walker, and
you can throw Sam Darnold into that crew to you know, defensively,
Byron Murphy, can he can he find another level?
Speaker 8 (06:58):
Reek Wolling, Devin their Spoons.
Speaker 7 (07:00):
So you know, you can go down the list and
look and see. Yeah, over the last two three years,
they've drafted really well. Like they've got a balanced roster.
There aren't a ton of glaring holes. They had to
take care of the interior of their offensive line. That
was really the big thing this off season. They drafts
Gray's Able in the first round. So you know, I think,
you know, really the question was, can this this crew
(07:23):
of good young players find you know, two or three
or four guys gonna be real corner stones for them?
And I think you started to see that happen. You know,
Smith and Jigbis been really good. Cross I think was
already in an all pro level. Witherspoon looks like he's
a foundation.
Speaker 8 (07:39):
Piece for you.
Speaker 7 (07:40):
You know, Walker had the big run at the end
last week. I really like where Seattle is. That was
two weeks ago, Againt Fittsburgh's I really like where Seattle is.
And so you know, tonight they've got a chance and
a standalone game to really kind of show themselves to
a national audience.
Speaker 6 (07:59):
I'm sorry, ahead, Yeah, you got it, you got it.
Speaker 8 (08:06):
Ab.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
I was going to ask you, Brian da Ball, how
much of the decision in New York to go to
Jackson Dart had to do with his job security.
Speaker 8 (08:15):
I don't think any of it did.
Speaker 7 (08:17):
Now, I'm not saying that's not like a long term
like singing that like he's looking at like, of course
you're not human if you're not you know, if you
were him and you were, that wasn't at least in
the back of your mind. I think Jackson Dart emerged
in August. It's probably the best answer at quarterback then.
(08:38):
And I think there's some degree they want.
Speaker 8 (08:41):
To protect him.
Speaker 7 (08:42):
Early in the year, they knew they weren't going to
have Andrew Thomas for the were first week or two
of season of left tackle.
Speaker 8 (08:47):
That's a big deal.
Speaker 7 (08:49):
And so you know, it was about keeping your word
to Russell Wilson, you know, and keeping your word and
saying he was going to be a starting quarterback, you know,
and then also like making sure you're putting your young
quarterback in the best position to succeed. But this is
a guy, like if you went there in August, I'm
telling you guys, like if you want, I guess like
they would all say, like, you know, don't tell anybody,
because they didn't want to make a big deal out
(09:11):
of it, like but don't tell anybody, but like we'd
be good with putting Jackson Dart out there. Now he's
checked every box. He's better than we thought, like all
of that stuff, Like you heard all that stuff in August.
It was just, I think as much as anything else,
it was like, okay, like how do we sequence this?
And you know, they they get to zero and three,
(09:31):
they've been really bad in the red zone. They've been
really bad on third down. Russell Wilson himself as numbers
are dreadful in those two areas.
Speaker 8 (09:38):
So it sort of gave them the opening. But I
think this is the way it was going based on
the way to the summer went.
Speaker 6 (09:43):
So you're expecting a bit of a bounce, like they'll
be able to win some games, they'll be able to
make some.
Speaker 8 (09:47):
Moves here, Well, this gets was really tough.
Speaker 7 (09:51):
So that's the other part of it, Like right, like
so you know they that division, the NFC S they
played the NFC North and they played the AFC West.
So I mean, if you look at it, Brady, I mean,
I don't have in front of me, but I think
it's it's really easy to get to your get yourself
to to won't hit their schedule right Like, So, I
(10:13):
don't know if it's going to result and all of
a sudden them being the playoff hunt, but I do
think you'll get a little bit of a bounce on offense,
like I think they'll have a little bit more like
I think at this stage of his career, Russell Wilson
is pretty limited. And I think you saw that last
year in Pittsburgh and like, to me, like the real
tell was and Russell. You know, like Betett was a
(10:37):
good guy in that bit for five months. It really
kind of brought it to the quarterback room that we needed.
I think he did a lot of things to help
Jackson dark trying to create a healthy environment in that
room at the beginning and said, like a rookie going
into a room with some Jameis Winston, what's that? But
(10:58):
actually the minders the last few months. But you know, again,
at this stage, I think sawl like kind of target
like he's a limited player at this point.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
All right, again, should we let's let's try Yeah, let's
let's let's reconnect that.
Speaker 5 (11:20):
That's right, guys, we should We should probably reconnect here,
don't you think?
Speaker 4 (11:23):
Yeah, you know what, Q, I think we should try
to reconnect them. You know I'm going to agree, you agree, Lorrain,
and we should try to reconnect. Yeah, let's just reconnect
with them.
Speaker 6 (11:32):
I mean, there's a project that he comes out in
the woods. If he goes outside, his dogs will be
barking it. It's a real conundrum that Albert's face was
this morning.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Are you saying he doesn't live in Harlem? He's not, like, hey,
he doesn't live over there?
Speaker 4 (11:43):
They said that that is the woods.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
I know this is not just a game. It's a
once in a generation event. The Harlem Globetrotters one hundred
Year Tour could be a part of a legacy that
never stops be there when history is made. The Harlem
Globe Trotters one hundred Dear Tour get your tickets today
at Harlem Globe Trotters dot Com.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
All I can't. I tried.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Try blowing in, but mister Stix is looking at me
like hey, brouh, Like can you stop trying to sleep
over here?
Speaker 10 (12:17):
What?
Speaker 5 (12:18):
All right?
Speaker 3 (12:19):
So what do we got?
Speaker 4 (12:20):
All right?
Speaker 3 (12:20):
So we got as back, we got you.
Speaker 8 (12:24):
I'm back, I'm back. Yeah the center, I want that side.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
Yeah, you sound way better. But we're the dog. The
dog attack you. Yeah, the dog. You know, sorry, but
you do sound good? A B. Can I can I
throw this one out at you?
Speaker 2 (12:40):
A B.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
We've been talking about well we brought it up to today.
Where did the Michael Parsons tribute conversation come from and
would it be appropriate at this point in a player's
career having the situation play out the way that it
did in Dallas, where you would actually acknowledge or do
(13:02):
a tribute to the player before the game.
Speaker 7 (13:06):
Well, I actually thought, like, the most interesting thing. I
don't know if you guys saw what he said the
other day, that's the most interesting thing was that he
couldn't get his money back for his suite. I want
to know how that conversation went.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Like, Yeah, that's great, go Jerry, go Jerry. I did
not I did not see that. But that's kind of wow.
That's a little petty, that's pretty pads up.
Speaker 7 (13:27):
That's why I don't buy a suite.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
Then, yeah, you go week to week with that. That's
a bad business decision.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Telling Albert difficult in the locker room.
Speaker 5 (13:39):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (13:40):
I would have thought it would have been a nice
olid branch. If you'd just give him given him a refund,
that's the sweet and he probably doesn't need anymore.
Speaker 8 (13:46):
But that's just me.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
No.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
I put some strippers in there every single home game,
and that they show.
Speaker 8 (13:54):
Out, that's a good call.
Speaker 7 (13:56):
That's a good call.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
I get that work off this.
Speaker 8 (14:07):
I used to live there.
Speaker 7 (14:08):
I used to live there. There'd be lots of options
for that out.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
There you go, see there, you go, yeah, mus be there.
You know, in the background, you'd be making a frame.
May mean, why not, you know, let's just have all
the characters there. I forgot what the question is now,
isn't it Is it an appropriate conversation to do a
(14:34):
trick video for somebody like Michael?
Speaker 8 (14:37):
I think, I think all this is so out of control.
Speaker 7 (14:39):
Guys like I like, I don't think in this situation
he would really ever see that at fifteen twenty years ago,
nor would anyone question it. But now it's like every
time a guy leaves a team, there's like a thank
you collage on Twitter, you know what I mean. Like
it's like, thank you to this guy who spent like
three weeks in the practice guys, and we don't need
to do that every single time it always gets me.
(15:00):
The ones that always get me are the ones where
there's been like a like a like a twelve week
contract dispute and the two sides haven't talked in six
weeks and then all of a sudden, the guy's gone
and it's like thank you so, and so it's like
come on, like we're not about yeah, tell you know
what I mean, Like, no one video, No one thinks that, like,
(15:22):
no one in their right mind thinks this ended ended
on great terms. So like I actually think it would
be more weird if there was a tribute video. Then
there is no one right, Like this didn't end on
great terms. Now he comes back and whatever five years
and now all of a sudden, he's, you know whatever,
(15:44):
three time defensive Player of the Year and they do
a little tribute vine for him. Than fine, But I mean,
like this thing, I mean, the wound is still open,
you know.
Speaker 8 (15:53):
What I mean?
Speaker 7 (15:54):
Like this, I mean, clearly there was no will. Clearly
it didn't end. Well, why do you have to pretend
that it is? Like I don't know, like that's just me,
but I just think we've got way overboard, Like in
these sorts of situations with like you know, a month later,
pretending everything was okay.
Speaker 6 (16:09):
It wasn't, Albert, I want to switch gears and talk
about the Tennessee Titans.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
You know, Brian.
Speaker 6 (16:17):
Callahan not calling plays feels like this as a last
sttch effort with maybe some of the pressure that's on
him right now and the lack of performance from the
team at this point.
Speaker 5 (16:29):
Is that how you see it?
Speaker 7 (16:31):
I mean, it's definitely on the hot seat playbook right
like is you know, it's it's one of those things
you see, Yeah, Like I look like I think this
is sort of a response to the game management questions
that have arisen in Tennessee over the last couple of weeks.
You know, I think it is a little weird, like
(16:51):
going to your quarterbacks coach rather than your offensive coordinator.
That said, you know both Martin gree does have play
calling experience where Nick Hole, the offensive coordinator doesn't. And I, like,
I do wonder this part this, This is the one
thing I wonder about it, Like, I is this is
this a response to something that's a real problem for
(17:12):
them operationally or is this a response to the public
narrative that's out there, And like I think if it's
if it's a response to the narrative, that's not a
great sign. If this is something that they feel like
it's going to be constructive for cam Ward, for the
people around him, you know, then fine, and let's see
how it plays out. You know, I I thought Brian
(17:33):
Callahan was and you you were with him in Denver,
I think right when he was really young, Brady.
Speaker 5 (17:39):
Yeah, yeah, I used to hang out, used to go
to snooze and get breakfast.
Speaker 7 (17:42):
Yeah yeah, yeah. So I think Calli's a really sharp
young coach. I think he I loved the hire of
him in Tennessee a year and.
Speaker 8 (17:50):
A half ago.
Speaker 7 (17:51):
I just still think he's got great potnchal this move, like,
I'm just interested to see how it plays out and
and and whether or not it results in a smoother
game operation, because whether it is about the public narrative
or not, you would make a move like this because
you feel like some of the big pictures that aren't
(18:11):
being taken care of.
Speaker 8 (18:12):
And we'll see if that looks better.
Speaker 7 (18:14):
And again, like part of the problem is the roster
is still so far away from from being the type
of team that can keep for a playoff spot. Like, like,
I don't know that we're going to see it in
the wins and losses, so you're gonna have to look
a little bit deeper to find I think the progresses
they make.
Speaker 6 (18:33):
You know, through a move of this, the wolf happens,
which is one of the reasons why I wonder why
he's going to that. I mean, ownership had to have
known it was going to take him a while. It's
going to take the roster a while to get where
it needs to be. And this feels like something you
do when you feel the pressure, you're on the.
Speaker 7 (18:47):
Hot seat, and he's already gone through general manager change.
Speaker 4 (18:51):
Right Like.
Speaker 7 (18:52):
That's the other part of it is that place has
been such a wreck over the last three years, and
you go back to, you know, firing on Robinson, you know,
which was you know, felt at least like a reaction
to the A. J. Brown trade, and that was in
mid season. You don't generally fire your general manager after,
you know, a game in the middle of November. I
(19:12):
believe that was a Thursday night game November, but that happened.
You got fired the day after a game in November.
Then you know, you you you hire a GM, a
new GM, you pair them with your existing head coach.
Then after that year, you fire your head coach, then
you have a new head coach come in, and then
you fire your GM coming out of the head coaches
(19:34):
first year. So this thing has been so sideways for
the last three or four years. I think I think
they need to I think they at least need to
give the set up they have now time, you know,
But this, I mean part of the problem here, Brady,
is that the owner's not there every day. You know,
the owner is in and out. The owner lives in Houston,
(19:55):
and so like, is she listening to the narratives and
not really having a full grasp of what's happening in
the day to day operation.
Speaker 8 (20:04):
Is the day to day.
Speaker 7 (20:05):
Operation away is set up now smoother than it was before.
There's just so many issues that are I think existing
and that that that that are sort of the rest
that a piece of the rest of the last two
or three years. But I think if you're the owner
in this case, you do have to give it some
time to work itself out. Otherwise it's just going to
(20:25):
be in this perpetual cycle of just getting rid of
the last thing that went wrong.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
Albert Breer with us here on Fox Sports Radio. What's
going on in Atlanta. It feels like, you know, OC
is now being brought down to the sideline. They fire
their wide receivers. Coach Raheem Morris is talking about, well,
Michael Pennix is our starting quarter. It just feels like
a lot through three weeks. What do you what do
you make of the situation there?
Speaker 7 (20:53):
Well, that's what it happens when you lose thirty to
nothing to answers or whatever it was, right, So, you know,
I like, I think, you know, I like, I like
I look at like some of the moves Raheem's made
over the last couple of years. And again this is
another one I thought was a really strong hire. Like
I thought Raheem should have become a head coach way
but again way before, way before it happened, you know, like,
(21:16):
but you lucky fired his defensive coordinator he brought from
the Rams with him after year one, from Jimmy Lake
to Jeff Ulbrick. And now you see some of the
moves on the offensive side of the offensive side of
the ball to try to get the young quarterback going,
you know. And they're another one where you know, okay,
you had an existing general manager who's now inheriting a
(21:39):
head coach. So I think it's just a matter of
getting all these things aligned and being where they're at
right now, seeing some of the young talent, they have
some of the big decisions they're going to have to
make on some of those players. Do you pay them?
Speaker 8 (21:54):
Do you not?
Speaker 7 (21:56):
It's I think there's a lot riding on on on
how Michael Pennix plays right now. And you know, they
did so much to get the quarterback position right. And remember,
like the Kirk Cousins money, that's money out of the
owner's pocket. And you spend the first round pick on
top of that in the quarterback. And if you've got
(22:16):
the guy you invested forty five million dollars a year
and on the bench, and you've got the guy that
you spent the eighth overall pick on not playing well
and throwing a pick six in that game. Now, all
of a sudden, you know we're talking about a bigger
picture question, which is what direction are we headed in?
And you know that can affect again the other young
(22:38):
players in the roster who are coming up for contracts.
What do you do with Drake Lynd and what do
you do with de John Robinson? You know it affects
guys in that staff that had already had With some
of those guys going out of the door, they've got
one of the longest playoffs drafts in the NFL now,
believe it or not. And you know, certainly, I think
there's gonna be a lot of eyes internally ne externally
(23:01):
on what happens at the quarterback position going forward because
they spent so many resources to get it right, and
as that group didn't get it right, somebody's gonna have
to answer for it.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
All right, ab before we let you go, the big
question I think a lot of people want to know
is do you feel like in Seattle this weekend that
old one that Ohio State will have beaten Washington by
more than eight and a half points. When it's all said,
that's a big one, I have to.
Speaker 7 (23:28):
Say, yeah, tough because that number came way down, right,
wasn't it like it is, yeah fourteen or something?
Speaker 4 (23:33):
Right?
Speaker 8 (23:35):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (23:35):
That was the like look aheadline I think before the season,
and so some books like kept it or something, but
as soon as it opened, it kind of drastically came
down and.
Speaker 8 (23:44):
The Washington quarterbacks really good, right.
Speaker 6 (23:46):
Brady demon Williams Junior is really good. You know, he's small,
but that dude can absolutely sling the rock. And he
is a little playmaker too. Man, he is a tough kid.
Speaker 4 (23:58):
Boston is really good playmaker. That's little or is he
a little playmaker that's in a little body.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
I don't know even how to answer that.
Speaker 6 (24:07):
But Boston the receiver could be like wide receiver one
Jonah Coleman at running backs really good like that.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
That seems solid, that seems slid all.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
Right, well, but he is a little dude though.
Speaker 8 (24:19):
I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go with us.
Speaker 7 (24:22):
I'm gonna I'm gonna go with r bel Reese to
uh as a quarterback spy here. I think we'll be
able to get after him. Some defense is played great
under Matt.
Speaker 8 (24:32):
Patricia's for three weeks.
Speaker 7 (24:33):
I think that's fair, right, So I'm gonna go with
the ten for the buck eye. I think jet Fish
has done a really good job, or seems that way,
both of Arizona now Washington, so center respect for Jed
the job that he's done out there. But I'm gonna
say that I'm gonna say they cover just by a
little bit. We'll give me ten point went out there.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
You go.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
Wow, all right, well done. Albert Brier f with the cover.
Get him on to that. Albert Breer, Senior NFL reporter,
lead content strategist at the mm Q.
Speaker 7 (25:00):
Be by the way, guys, anything anything, anything I can
do to help in actual of ours? Michael Parsons sweet plans,
all right, we got you.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
We'll we're gonna hit you up. And because we're going
to execute this, you know, we won't make them.
Speaker 7 (25:13):
Might there might be some establishments down there. Down there
I'm aware of that he might be able to recruit
at him.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
All right, all right, We're all right.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
So there he is the great Albert.
Speaker 6 (25:24):
We don't make a dance broadcast live from Michael Parsons Sweet,
why not make them dance?
Speaker 4 (25:32):
Let's let's go.
Speaker 5 (25:33):
I mean, if he's got it, if he still, let's
go broadcast one our radio shows from that.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
Fans will make them dance. Why don't we do it
for the game?
Speaker 7 (25:40):
Now?
Speaker 4 (25:40):
He goes and plays in.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
By the way, You know, what is that too soon?
We're imagining? Uh yeah, you think we turn around time
on that? You think we would get there coming up
pretty quick Sunday night? Who knows you heard that.
Speaker 6 (25:53):
At some point this season. We don't need to go
for a game he's at I think that's the whole joke.
We go for a game he's not at.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
All right, Okay, yeah, let's do that.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
Nobody's using it, why not?
Speaker 4 (26:03):
All right?

you at USA Fencing dot org slash try Fencing. That's
USA Fencing dot org slash try Fencing. We are gonna
(28:31):
have the leftovers coming up here in about ten minutes
from now. Ye you know yeah, trash talk is always
a good thing. I do it all the time. Well,
I just wonder if there's a.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
When trash comes out of your mouth dance other people's
ears damn, and they'd be like, dang, that's trash. What
about Luke.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
Donald, the europe Rider Cup captain who decided to give
it him passion speech, but it didn't land really well
with the Americans who were in attendance.
Speaker 13 (29:03):
We didn't come here just to be a part of
the show. We came here to earn our place in
Ryder Cup folklore. We're not just playing to win. We're
playing for each other and for every young golfer back
home who dreams about one day representing Team Europe. We
know it won't be easy winning away never is. Only
(29:23):
four European teams have done it before, but that's the
beauty of sport.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
The toughest roads lead to the greatest rewards.
Speaker 13 (29:31):
We are fueled by something money cannot buy, purpose, brotherhood,
and a responsibility to honor those who came before us
while inspiring those whose time is yet to come.
Speaker 4 (29:46):
Damn did he have doctor Seuss write that? Damn? I
will not have green eggs in alm. I am sale,
I am I will be part of the folklore of
green eggs in the hair. Like what he was really following,
like a cadence on what he was saying, right, I mean,
(30:06):
I get what he's saying, and I don't think there's
anything wrong with it, you know, And we should have
been a little bit more respectful towards towards his speech,
because I mean, would you want the Europeans to come
over here and just lay down and let the Americans
whoop on them. Or would you want it to be
a competitor, a competitive Ryder Cup, right? You want them
(30:27):
to come in feeling that way. Correct?
Speaker 6 (30:28):
Well, given the history of World Wars, I mean, they've
always needed our helps, there's that, but I would generate
I would generally just say that. What we didn't get
out of that was the discussion about kind of money.
It's been a hot topic with this. So the US
players decided to take a two hundred dollars stipend or
(30:49):
excuse me, jesus two hundred thousand dollars stipend to play
in the Ryder Cup, which they've all talked about.
Speaker 5 (30:55):
They're going to donate to charity. So there's roughly about.
Speaker 6 (30:59):
I think half of mill so they're gonna be donating
to charity, and so they're not really accepting any of
the money from this. But the European players decided not
to take any sort of stipend. So the conversation about
the US players going and playing for money and the
European players playing for something bigger than that, playing for pride,
(31:19):
playing you know, playing for all those in the background,
not necessarily just for the dollars. That's become a bit
of a hot topic, which I do think if you're
looking after the US standpoint, it's like we could get
two hundred thousand dollars and then donate it on a
charity where we can go whoop your ass and look
good for donating charity.
Speaker 5 (31:37):
I think it's kind of a win win, isn't it.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
Dang, whoop your ass? Or we could just take that
money in make them bands that will make them dance,
bands will make them dance.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
I mean, it does make the event a little more
interesting though, Like if we're going that long.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
There ever been strippers at a golf golf outing?
Speaker 3 (31:58):
Yeah, I don't if they work though they don't work, No,
I'm not. I don't think they're like on the clock,
but they probably attend.
Speaker 14 (32:03):
I'm sure people bring strippers all the time.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
Yeah, to the golf, to the to the golf outing.
Speaker 7 (32:10):
M Okay.
Speaker 4 (32:11):
I'm just saying I think that you make them, you
make them dance with that that two hundred bands that
you're getting, you know, that's donating to charity for certain,
that's that's a charity. Indeed, Now, is that tax right
off able when you tip strippers when you make them
dance or is that taxable fees?
Speaker 8 (32:30):
Man?
Speaker 4 (32:32):
How does that work?
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Why you said disrespectful to the writer?
Speaker 4 (32:35):
Coup? What you mean.
Speaker 8 (32:38):
What?
Speaker 3 (32:38):
You try to represent the country and you're bringing up strippers?
Speaker 4 (32:42):
Strippers not representing the country. Y'all tripped out? Man? You
know what, forget about it? You know what, I just
out find some friends and and not my my baby bros.
That y'all. You know, I forget about it. Never mind. Well,
I can't believe you. I just thought I can't believe
you are You're still talking about strippers? What's today Thursday?
Speaker 5 (33:07):
Yeah, you got problems.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
Dang, that's Jonas that got problems. I'm just joking, you know.
I'm just having a good time with it.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
I haven't been a strip club in at least a
month and a half.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
It's been a while for me. I ain't gonna lie.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
Yeah, you never went to one in Louisiana though.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
You know that's interesting that you would go to Spicy uh,
because you know whatis Louisiana hot sauce? Uh? The original
Louisiana brand Hot Sauce, by the way, is the perfect
balance of peppers, vinegar, and salt. Y'all. So you could
throw it on your nachos, your burgers, your wings. Apparently
(33:50):
Jonas is throw it on your clam chowder. You did
hit any tailgate food or any type of deal you
feel good about with the bold hand active flavor of
the original Louisiana sauce. That's Louisiana hot Bay you.
Speaker 3 (34:07):
I'm telling you, man, on your clam chowder, it's good
soup season coming up. You know, it's officially fall soup season.
Clam and chowder eater you have, yeah, all right.
Speaker 4 (34:19):

Hi Jonas high bar Hi Brady all right, hyah, okay,
So I don't know if you saw this. It actually
it literally made me squirm and a little like scream
because I can't handle pain like this. I don't know
if you saw. David Frye from the Cleveland Guardians got
hit in the face by a ball going ninety nine
miles an hour.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Yeah, terror scooble.
Speaker 5 (36:28):
Oh that man, he knew, he knew, right what happened.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
I would have dropped so fast.
Speaker 5 (36:36):
Yeah, that's that was ugly.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
That was tough.
Speaker 14 (36:39):
According to UH injury reports, he's expected to be out
six to eight weeks. But I don't know if your
face can grow back that fast, like the bone has
to restructure, right.
Speaker 3 (36:48):
Well, I mean he's gonna miss the postseason grow back?
Speaker 5 (36:52):
What does that mean?
Speaker 3 (36:54):
It's it's not a lizard's tale. You know, it's just
gonna He's gonna have to be on the men for
a little while. But you know what, Hey says a
lot about the Guardians. Didn't keep them down all right,
Taking ninety nine wearing it in your face and still
coming back and winning that game, and they've got first
place in the Central Now epic comeback. That's how it's done.
Speaker 10 (37:16):
Good for them.
Speaker 3 (37:18):
What else we got?
Speaker 13 (37:19):
All right?
Speaker 3 (37:19):
I saw this yesterday as well.
Speaker 14 (37:21):
There's sneak previews of Jordan Hudson on the cover of
US Weekly magazine alongside her new man. I'm gonna say now,
but he's he's kind of old. Whoa, I didn't mean
it like that. They've been together a minute, yeah, Bill Belichick.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (37:35):
So this issue is actually supposed to come out October sixth,
and it features the headline Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson
inside the coach's twenty four year old girlfriend's world.
Speaker 3 (37:45):
What do you think that consists of careful wording? There
shopping it.
Speaker 4 (37:49):
Is careful wording. Yeah, I was right there with you,
Jonas had it went over a couple of people's heads,
but it might have, but it might have landed.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
I don't know, you know, I mean the they're just
going for.
Speaker 14 (38:09):
It, huh, like she's she's just she was gonna be
on Dancing with the Stars and she turned that down.
Like this she's getting along.
Speaker 4 (38:16):
Was she a star before she met Bill Belichick.
Speaker 14 (38:18):
No, she was a cheerleader.
Speaker 5 (38:20):
Well she was, wasn't she Miss Rhode Island or something
like that?
Speaker 14 (38:25):
But was she a star?
Speaker 4 (38:26):
That was right?
Speaker 5 (38:28):
Well, I mean she was someone I did pageants too.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
That doesn't make me a star.
Speaker 5 (38:32):
No, okay, well you were you Miss Rhode Island?
Speaker 4 (38:34):
Which one was it?
Speaker 14 (38:35):
I haven't even been to Rhode Island, so no, but
I was almost Miss Douglas County.
Speaker 3 (38:40):
She was Miss Coos Bay.
Speaker 11 (38:41):
Big deal.
Speaker 5 (38:42):
Yeah, it's kind of a big So you almost won
the county.
Speaker 14 (38:44):
Here you go, and you know, out of Douglas.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
That's that's not saying much.
Speaker 4 (38:49):
I mean, but at least she compete it in almost
one though.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
You know.
Speaker 4 (38:53):
Yeah, good times. Okay, let's move on.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
I'll bet you win now.
Speaker 14 (38:57):

Speaker 5 (39:09):
It's done.
Speaker 3 (39:10):

Speaker 5 (39:14):
I don't want any part of this.
Speaker 14 (39:15):

Speaker 5 (39:16):

Speaker 4 (39:17):

Speaker 3 (39:25):
This has been a great Left I think it's been phenomenal.
Speaker 14 (39:29):
The microwave.
Speaker 7 (39:30):
Keep some of those top right right.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
What do you mean by today, Jonas?
Speaker 4 (39:36):
What does Jo mean by that,
