Big Red and old Red.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
Ass Liam Cohen about it, square it off, duvall.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
That is he's never going to live that down, is he?
Speaker 1 (02:08):
No, He's always going to be him. Yeah, I think
that's the ballast, the first win for the Jaguars.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
He could do it the way you want to do
it today.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
Huh.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
That's the first Monday Night football win for the Jaguars,
not mistaken since twenty eleven. So it's been a little
while since since they've been in the wind. Call him
on Monday night. But that was a fun game, fun
game to watch.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Hey, you loved how Lloyd ran all the way into
the end zone, even even when they tried to knock
the ball out of his hand.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Huh, held on time, didn't celebrate.
Speaker 5 (02:42):
Yeah, it was good ball security.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
How about that?
Speaker 3 (02:45):
He was digging too, wasn't he. Yep, man, he was
digging like he knew how like he ran track. He
had great form. I was proud of the linebacker last night.
Great ball security, Yeah, real, great ball security. He broke
the myth you know, the stick type. You know that
that was plaguing you know, plaguing the.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
What do you say? It was like a white guys.
How are you trying to say?
Speaker 2 (03:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
I'm just saying he broke the stereotypes, is all I'm saying.
You know, it was good. I was proud of him.
I was like, man, please don't let the ball go early.
Please please, I don't want us to be judged.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Are you guys going to uh do you do you
want me to do it for you? Or you guys
just want to apologize to the AFC South?
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Do you want to? They got a couple of foreign
one teams.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Hey, man, the big bad Wolf is dead, bro. That's
all I know. They look pretty good, which is interesting. Yeah,
didn't gone that nobody's afraid of this this Kansas City team,
Kansas City Chiefs team anymore. There's no fear factor. There's
no I hate to say it, there's no homes factor anymore.
(03:52):
They're they are going to have to win games now
from here on out because nobody's afraid of them. And
I think, listen, I think this Jacksonville team is a
pretty damn good team. I did not expect them to
be this good. I'll be the first one to say that.
For me, I didn't think that they would be at
this this record at this juncture in the season. But
(04:15):
watching them play against Kansas City, I mean, you're talking
about a team that has borderline been a dynasty team,
if not a dynasty team, and probably we're out there,
maybe they're they're they're they're their strongest with their personnel.
You know, they had everybody back last evening and in
(04:38):
Jacksonville just you know, they were better.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
I thought they were just they were better.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
I mean, if they don't fumble the ball on on
that that one goal line play. I mean it was
a close game, but I don't think that it was
super close. Like I don't I felt like they were
the better team.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
You know what's interesting too, let's go back and review
there season so far. They lost at home or I
guess not at home, they're the home team. But Chargers
week one, then what was that Mexico City?
Speaker 5 (05:09):
Where are they?
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Brazil?
Speaker 5 (05:10):
Brazil? Brazil?
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Uh, they lose the Eagles. The following week, they beat
the Giants.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
It's not really a great win.
Speaker 6 (05:19):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
They beat the Ravens at home handily, but again Ravens
are struggling, and then they lose the Jaguars. Like I
just think, what you you know, you look at like
who they who they've lost to they've beat It's like
what they haven't really beat anyone?
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Yeah, well and.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
When you look, well, all say, look, if you look
at the rest of the schedule, I mean they've got
the Raiders on there, but things pick up.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
They played Detroit next week.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
They've got the Bills Broncos on the road back to
back weeks. Colts who is Jonas pointed out that are
in the AFC South, this division that's tough. At Dallas,
Who's I think exceeded our expectation. Maybe it's been a
little bit better than way Follis has been a little
bit better too.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
I mean the only thing they have going for them
is they played the Raiders twice because they're in the
ANFC West. They showt the Titans of the schedule, but
they've got a tough, tough stretch of games and I
don't know, man, Like I'm looking through the rest of
their schedule. I think getting to nine wins is going
to be really, really tough.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
Thank I'm just calling how I see it.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
I think Pachecko hurt Jonah say, he hasn't been the same,
He hasn't been the same. Pichecko was cooking last night.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Did I say that?
Speaker 3 (06:40):
One of y'all said he was. I'm pretty certain it was,
you'd said Pecco. I said, Pachecko is is a is
a a really really solid piece and a weapon for
Kansas City.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
What do you mean he was cooking last night? But
what did you do he was?
Speaker 3 (06:55):
I thought Pochecko was was a very very vital part
of their offense last night.
Speaker 5 (07:00):
I don't even have forty yards last night.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
I thought he was very very effective for the team.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Are you being serious?
Speaker 2 (07:07):
I'm being dead serious. The way he ran the ball.
Speaker 5 (07:10):
Them Hunt Hunt, Kareem.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Hu No, no, no, he got touchdowns, but Pacheco was running hard.
He was getting good yards for them and critical points
in time.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Anything serious, it on good authority.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
I think you have to run for one hundred yards
for you to be cooking.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
I mean he was playing.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
He did some really good things for them last night,
and he was running really hard.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
I was actually researching, Yes, I was researching this. I
was researching this after you was watching baseball.
Speaker 5 (07:41):
He didn't even have a better average than Hunt last night.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
I was watching cooking. I was researching this.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
After the game, they called his they called it the
most impact they called it the most impactful thirty six
yards rushing in the history of the NFL.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
So to Lvar's point, I think he's onto something there
like that. Was you're being funny?
Speaker 5 (07:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (07:59):
The box score reading but let's be talking to Checko
had a really good game.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
He was running really hard.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
He was very check He's very very looks like he's
running really hard.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
That's what he's saying.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
He was running really hard, and he.
Speaker 5 (08:14):
Made a really good running hard.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Yeah, but he was effective and running really hard. I'm
telling you he made some really good runs.
Speaker 5 (08:21):
In that game on something. What are you talking about?
Speaker 3 (08:24):
No, he had three catches and they were he was
impactful with what he was doing.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
I watched the game.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
I'm glad you watched the game.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
I don't know why you're trying to judge my judgment.
I saw what I saw. I'm not going back down
no matter if you watch whatever. On this hill, I
thought looked good running the ball. I thought he was
bizarre take. I've ever heard you like I want to
diet a hill for this is great. I'm not going
to die on the hill, but I'm not going back
(08:53):
down off of it. I mean, I thought Checko did
not look like a running back that was different from
an injury last night.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
He did not.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
He was effective when and he made some some really
really nice plays for them, picked up first downs for them.
I thought he'd played he was cooking. I'm y'all, say
what you want. That's what I saw from Peto.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Do you really he had one long run for what
fifteen yards?
Speaker 2 (09:21):
It was sixteen?
Speaker 3 (09:23):
It was it was his usage and his integration in
the offense. He had some critical moments.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
Okay, do the math on that. You take away that
one run. Okay, he averaged a little over three yards
per attempt.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Okay, they were a good three yards.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
Yeah, the Holmes led them in rushing last night. Yeah,
Kareem Hunt was the actual, more impactful running back.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
Those guys benefited from the way Pacheco was playing last night.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
Yes, all right, this is a skit. This is a guess.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
It's not it could have been less than three yards
to carry. Yeah, this is you guys are being gaggers
right now.
Speaker 5 (10:04):
Yeah, I'm not. I'm not playing anymore whatever you're doing.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
I'm playing any games.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
I'm bidding serious.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
I lost the game.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
I'm not gonna sit here and keep like going back
and forth about Pacheco. I like the way he looked
last night. I like the way he played. He didn't
look like he was injured or a different running back
from before his injury.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
I thought he looked I thought he looked good. I
thought he looked good.
Speaker 5 (10:30):
So random, I'm not a random.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Well, when I when I saw him making some of
the plays that he made and was cooking in my estimation,
I thought about jonas.
Speaker 5 (10:43):
Thirty six yards is cooking. That's something.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
Hey, man, I just know what I was seeing when
I was watching, you.
Speaker 5 (10:49):
Were seeing thirty six yards. That's a lot of production.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
I mean, when the production is specified and intentional, it's
it's pretty good.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
I mean, it's about what Saquan's averaging a game this year.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
Well, I mean, y'all trying to be funny, not that anyway.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Anyway, I did, where do you go to Rutgers.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
Anyway?
Speaker 3 (11:16):
You know, there's been a lot of things said about
what Kansas City could or couldn't be, may or may
not be. What they aren't is intimidating. That's that's just
That's ultimately what it comes down to. I don't really
know what Jacksonville is. They play some some hellified defense.
(11:37):
They do play defense, and I know they were highlighting
the fact that the secondary is very, very physical. They
are physical. It is a physical group. I'm not sure
what they are. I don't know if their record is
really who they are. I mean there, they've aren't. They've
aren't where they are. They're four to one, but I'm
not sure about them. I'm not sure their Their offense
(12:01):
sputtered at times, and I thought that they could have
been they could have been better in some spots. But
I mean, nonetheless, they were able to win the game.
And like I said, I thought they were the better team.
I didn't think that they just pulled the game out
because it did get interesting at the end. I thought
that they were the better team last night over the
(12:21):
Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
You want to hear Liam Kohne, mister du Baal talk
about the Trevor Lawrence play, gets stepped on scrambles, make
something of it and scores the game winning touchdown for
the Jaguars last night. Here was the Jacksonville head coach.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
Was going through your head on that last throw it away?
Speaker 6 (12:42):
No, I mean because you know when he got stepped
on and he's coming out of it and you're like,
oh my god, throw it away so we could have
another down.
Speaker 7 (12:51):
Man, What an individual effort.
Speaker 6 (12:53):
I mean, obviously a tough moment where I can only
imagine where he was at in that moment on the ground,
but to get up, break what three tackles or whatever
it was, two tackles and shed some dude off and
go running in the end. I mean, that's an unbelievable
individual effort. Yeah, we'd love it to be cleaner and
(13:14):
just making a nice executed play, but at the end
of the day, it's about winning. And I'm proud of
the toughness that he showed at the end of that game.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
You know, he reminds me of Nick Sirianni. He's got
kind of this quirky confidence. He's not no no, But
my point is he's Italian. Well, I mean, listen, you know,
I mean not everybody's perfect, I guess, but I look
at him and I go, that's a guy who people
(13:43):
criticize the hiring because of his dubal stuff, and like,
all right, this is off to a bad start, just
like they did the same thing with this is this
is this is off you, this is off to a
bad start. And then he goes out there and he
just does it a little bit differently. He's getting into,
you know, fights after the game with Robert Sala. He's
(14:04):
just he's got this gregarious sort of personality to him,
and I just wonder how many people saw this in
Jacksonville after the Duval comments and just assumed, here we go,
this is another goofball who's going to get a job,
and he's going to be out in two to three
years and Jacksonville is going to recycle coaches. He's probably
the coach of the year in the NFL right now,
(14:24):
like he's probably.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
I'd probably put Shane Steignen up there too, but I'd
also say this. I mean, what he's doing is tapping
into a roster that's had players in a particular quarterback
that people have felt really good about for a long time.
I mean, this is finally, I guess the staff of
the group that's able to maximize Trevor Lawrence, get the
(14:50):
defense to play at a higher level.
Speaker 5 (14:53):
I mean that's what this is found a running game.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
I mean, yeah, I meant to stay healthy and stays healthy.
Speaker 5 (15:01):
I think that will be part of it.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
But he's found balance.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
He's definitely created balance with that team and there's a
belief you could see like they were ready to compete again.
I don't think this is a bad Kansas City Chief team.
That's the crazy thing about it. I do not think
this is a bad team. I just don't think anybody's
afraid of them anymore. And so when they got to
play head up, head up, I mean they you know,
(15:24):
that was a major, major mistake, you know, with that interception,
a timely mistake with the ninety nine yard interception return.
But I thought that was more about that kid's will
to get to the end zone than it was anything else,
because you could almost stop them, see if you could
live to fight another day, but he wasn't going to
be denied that touchdown LB's.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
So I thought last night's uh drive by Trevor Lawrence
to go ahead, there's there's something to be said for that.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
You know, he hasn't had many of those moments.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
And to be able to do that the way he did,
I just I thought that was a big moment for him.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
Now maybe you guys don't see it as much that.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Way, but you know, I'm just going to disagree with you,
just to disagree though.
Speaker 5 (16:10):
What you can, because you already talked about it. But
checkout thing which was bizarre.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
But no, but like think about it, most most of
the most teams. When Kansas City goes up twenty twenty four,
there is under two minutes. That was like, that's been
the Steve Spagnola, Kansas City Chiefs, Chris Jones.
Speaker 5 (16:29):
They find a way of closing out the game.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Yeah, like they find a way of closing out that game. Like,
oh no, Kansas City did what they did at twelve
play drive, right, they come back, they take the lead.
Speaker 5 (16:39):
And by the way, it's not like that you need
a fueld goal, you need a touchdown.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
And I just I look at you know, look and
obviously help when Butler h Harrison Bucker kicked it out
of bounds, right, so that gives them good field position,
which gives you a little momentum right off the bat.
But I also go, all right, just gonna go down
and a touchdown And and this like, when's last time
you could think of Trevor Lawrence bringing this team back
(17:05):
in a game, and especially versus a good team.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
The playoff game against the Chargers.
Speaker 5 (17:10):
That's the last time, which was what two three years ago?
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Yeah, yeah, it's been a while. It might have been
longer than that, right, Brandon Staley was the coach. That's
all long ago.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
That's been.
Speaker 5 (17:19):
Yeah, So I just I look at this and I
go all right, it's a big moment.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
That's just for the win till LaVar's point about maybe
where Kansas City's at, but just you know the perception
of this win.
Speaker 5 (17:32):
But also for Trevor Lawrence, it's a big step.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
A lot of people have questions about what he is,
what he's not. You know, if he can still be
the guy everyone thinks. So for this team to be
able to do that, that that stood out to me
like that that's meaningful. I think in the bigger picture
of the perception of Trevor Lawrence, if he can be the.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
Guy everyone thinks he's going to be and get the
job done, and he did last night.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
I mean if ESPN could you know, get the camera
off and when he's about a knuckle deep, just definitely
had him up in.
Speaker 5 (17:59):
His big nose.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
I was just hulking, put his fingers in his mouth. Man.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
I was like, please don't eat the please please, Trevor,
please don't get it out of there, Get out.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Of there, please get out of there.
Speaker 8 (18:12):
May day apart apart, I was like, who's operating that, bro?
Speaker 2 (18:19):
Come on, he looks so majestic and stoic. Camera three,
stay with it.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Then then his nose just went right on up his
finger went right on up and I was like, oh.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Man, like, what a bount back here for Trevor Lawrence.
I started thinking to myself.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
I was like, man, yeah, I used to have a
ton of sniping boogers in my nose on the sideline. Man,
that was always a thing, Like I'd always end up
in the camera with boogers in my nose.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
A booger dude.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Man, So I was always like, I was always messing
with my nose.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
They caught that man in a compromising position. Man, I
didn't like it.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
People still blow snot rockets.
Speaker 5 (18:53):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
I still do that now.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
Yeah, what are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (18:56):
I did that yesterday, So dah, I'm not judging. It's fine,
why not for me?
Speaker 1 (19:01):
But do you not if I need to, if there's
nothing nothing to blow my nose with, Yeah, it's got
to happen, you know, I'm just curious.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
I'll just do it to do it sometimes because it
just makes sense.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
You're you're really not going to raise your son, right,
That's the problem is you asked that question because you
go in the baseball.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
Field, You're probably like, oh, let.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Me get you a tissue, let me get you a
tissue real quick, hold on.
Speaker 5 (19:24):
Let me, hey, he has anyone got a tissue? We
got a tissue out there for my son.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Let me go hand brush your where you stand. It's
not accurate.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
Make sure I get the little handheld h sweeper so
I can make sure your space is.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
I tell him to blow his nose on another kid's jersey. Oh, well,
there you go to.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
When he gets to five, I'll teach him snot rockets.
And when he gets to six, I'll teach him to
you know, if he's got to, you know, pull some
other shenanigans like there's there's stages here. There's a process
to all this, all right, there's a method.
Speaker 5 (19:55):
Many Yeah, tell me about parenting pow.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Yeah, huh, don't worry. You'll get there one day. Man.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
I got faith, by the way. Uh, I got a
son living with a with a girl. So you know,
y'all get on my level. Yeah, y'all get on my level. Damn,
he lives with his chicken. You know what comes next?
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (20:21):
Yeah? Are you ready for that?
Speaker 3 (20:24):
Brou I mean he's responsible, so it won't be too soon.
I don't know that I'm ready to be a grand dad.
I'm a great I'm a great uncle though one of
my nieces had a kid. Getting old, Man, I'm getting old.
You also got a dog that's hopping fences. Now. I
can't believe the dude is going to it's too it's
(20:46):
to our yard. It's still our yard that he's hopping into.
But there's a low retainer wall where there's little dogs
down there that be barking at him. And I think
he's gotten tired of them barking at him. And now
that he's marking. So now he's got that big he's
going over the gate.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
They'd probably been busting at falls about the skunk yelling
the same sense to skunk. I'll tell you that he's

Is it too soon? My bet? My bet?
Speaker 5 (22:59):
I am no.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Don't you touch it? Don't you touch it? That's just
what I was thinking in that moment. This was playing
in his head.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Wow, all right, so uh so we are going to
uh touch it. We are going to uh to have
a conversation about a coach who apparently everything is on
the table in the NFL. That will be yours here
and just a couple of moments from now. But right now,
it's time for the tire rack play of the day.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Dropping is the home Fires Middle.
Speaker 4 (23:33):

Speaker 3 (23:41):
Blowing up to.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Down?
Speaker 5 (23:49):

Speaker 5 (24:20):
Oh, series, No, you know what he's doing. Now do
you notice it?
Speaker 4 (24:24):
What he's differentiating the by position the guys across the goal.
Speaker 5 (24:29):
We don't have conversation.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
We don't, we don't take the don't lightly at all.
Speaker 5 (24:34):
Guess what you don't?
Speaker 4 (24:36):
You're right LBS and I would say most defensive players.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
Yeah, they really appreciate the opportunity score.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Even though I think that was the LB that What
was that? What? What position was the guy? I did that?
Speaker 5 (24:48):
Markt is a running back.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Running it back?
Speaker 4 (24:50):
Okay, all well where's.
Speaker 5 (24:58):
Yeah that's what I thought.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Yeah, he did go across that and that's like a
low key, good little robbery t c U s m U.
Speaker 5 (25:06):
Fun to watch those two schools.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
Well, now that I've watched land Man, I feel different
about Texas Christian University?
Speaker 5 (25:13):
Do you yeah?
Speaker 2 (25:14):
I do?
Speaker 5 (25:15):
Well, how do you feel about Texas Tech then? Because
they kind of hype up tech.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
And that show was it Texas Tech or Texas Texas Tech?
Wasn't the kid? Was it the kid that was dating
the daughter?
Speaker 3 (25:25):
He was going the second kid, not the first one,
because first one was on Alabama, right, yeah, the second
one it was Texas Tech. Okay, right, yeah, okay, yeah,
well yeah, I feel different about Texas Tech.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Now.
Speaker 4 (25:38):
Well, I mean, given what they're doing this year and
how much money they put into it, not a suppress.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Yeah, well, I was just talking about the people who
inhabit the land, you know. Oh right, pretty good. Look
that's what show man. It was a good show, really was.
I'm going through through land Man withdrawal because I I splurged.
You know, they already binge watched. Oh yeah, when I
start something, I go in to finish.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
I don't, I don't halfway it. I'd like to watch
the whole thing.
Speaker 5 (26:12):
I get that.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
And you know, speaking of that, if you didn't watch
the entire Lions Bengals game, you would have missed potentially
a great finished for the cover. Even though that wasn't
the case. Jonas I know, is really riveted by the
end of that game. You got close, did Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:28):
They did get close, and that I was just asking
for a little bit of fight, a little bit like
show me something. Never the Bengals don't get lit up again,
and they don't have much.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Yeah, that's not much.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
I mean, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, There's just not much
to expect out of these teams without they're fearless leader
in charge.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
So Jamar Chase made a comment after the game where,
you know, it's hard to get stuff done when everybody
knows what we're doing, kind of you know, basically calling
out just sort of the woes that they've had on offense,
even though their defense doesn't look all that hot either.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Zach Taylor.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Zach Taylor, the head coach, spoke about decisions being made
at the quarterback position.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Let's take a listen. Do you see Jake starting on Sunday.
Speaker 11 (27:15):
We'll see where it goes. You know, I think I
got all personnel decisions. We got to evaluate it. Jake's
been very accountable for how the game went for him.
I've got to be accountable for how the game went
for me as well. And so we'll continue to progress
here through the days.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
So Brett never a good response.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Brett Rippin, that was the other quarterback on the Cincinnati roster.
And look, Brady's brought this up a couple of times. Now,
just make a call to the Giants let's get Jamis
in there and let's start slinging it. At this point,
what he got to lose, like, just get in there
and start throwing the ball around.
Speaker 5 (27:49):
And that makes too much sense, buddy, That's not how
the NFL works.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
Dang.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
I'm just saying, like these sorts of things should have
been done weeks ago. And I'm not sure if it's
a big because you know, they don't want to take
on his contract, which his contract is not that expensive,
or if it's a matter of just yeah, the onesie
they want to make sure that still stands in the spot.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 3 (28:15):
Pregame is probably the reason why he's still starting. We
will not say whether he is starting or not until
right before game time.
Speaker 5 (28:26):
You know what you're talking about?
Speaker 3 (28:30):
He can't complete a pass, That's just what I do.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
He looks better than the second half. Okay, with the
game out of reach.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
It's never good when a coach answers a question are
you starting with? I have to evaluate and we'll make
those decisions.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Bang bangs, Is that what you're talking about?
Speaker 3 (28:54):
I mean, okay, and it ain't what I'm not talking
I'll tell you that the handwriting is on the wall.
Didn't they ball do that before, right before they.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Pinched for us? Yeah? Like it just make those decisions Wednesday. Yeah, well,
you know, we just got to look at it.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
That that.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
I mean, it's just one of those things. That's that's
the handwriting on the wall. Like that's the kiss of
death if you hear that. And it's not just quarterback,
that's any position, but more so quarterback of course.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Yeah. Man. Yeah, anyway, so funny you need help, bro?
What are you talking to help? I'm trying to research this.
Speaker 8 (29:31):
I'm just trying to talk about some sports man putting
on games.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
Yeah you are, And I'm not mad at it. Not mad.
Speaker 5 (29:39):
Have you played all the sound yet?
Speaker 2 (29:41):
I don't think so. Well. I mean the other one is.
Speaker 5 (29:43):
We always have it, we never play the sound well.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
You know.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
The other one is, this is Zach Taylor talking about
play calling duties, Like, what are you willing to give
up play calling duties?
Speaker 5 (29:54):
Given your comments yesterday?
Speaker 10 (29:55):
Did you want to ask was there any considerations about
play calling duties?
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Is that so something that you're going to retain.
Speaker 11 (30:00):
I'm still going to retain that move before it was
that even a conversation that this did you?
Speaker 5 (30:03):
How much you think about.
Speaker 4 (30:04):
That at all.
Speaker 11 (30:05):
I've kind of always gotten into that. You know, I
rely on our guys on offense as well. There's a
ton of input there, and those guys do an outstanding
job adjusting as the game goes, giving me the information
I need. I rely on them as much as I
think any play caller in the league replies on anybody else.
So I feel very comfortable. It's a fair question. We
scored three points in three games in the first half.
(30:27):
I totally understand that. But right now, that's it's going
to remain the same.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Why would that change anything? And and you basically play
calling duties. Yeah, well why would that would? I mean,
look what it did for you SLA this past week.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Oh god that I don't go We got more time,
we got I say it, I'm leaving.
Speaker 5 (30:51):
I'm going on.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
I'm all right.
Speaker 5 (30:53):
I mean now he's now he's upset.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
Is it because Jerry Newais is white?
Speaker 5 (30:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Racist?
Speaker 2 (31:01):
And don't leave. It's not as much fun about you here?
Come on, man?
Speaker 4 (31:08):
Is it because he had two days to prepare or
maybe he'd even call a play on that fourth down?
Speaker 2 (31:13):
All right, fine, we'll talk about the Mark Sanchez. I'm
about to go. That's all a twists.
Speaker 4 (31:22):
Nay, before you do, let me tell you about depending
the Prostate Cancer Foundation. I'm sure you really want to
talk about that before a prostate cancer reads. So I
want to make sure everyone knows that we're here to
remind you it's a long game and stop, dude. Screening
for prostate cancer is easier than ever a simple blood test.
Speaker 5 (31:44):

Speaker 4 (31:45):
It can lead to better treatment options and better outcomes.
Learn more at the pen dot com.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
We're not laughing, not to read, I promise at you.
Speaker 5 (31:54):
I'm laughing at you.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Why are you grunting? Were you doing wind sprints or something?
Speaker 5 (31:59):
Is megan?
Speaker 2 (31:59):
The Your boy was making what he was walking on?
That's that walk? Were you just doing wind sprints outside?
What are you doing? Ah?
Speaker 1 (32:07):
Wow?
Speaker 7 (32:09):
What I gonna dude?
Speaker 3 (32:10):
Oh should be funny though it really should be funny.
But he was walking so casually, man like, Hey, bruh,
you leaking out?
Speaker 2 (32:22):
You leaking brah?
Speaker 5 (32:23):
Why are you walking like that?
Speaker 3 (32:26):
You walking like you're looking for something late night place
they eat food.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
Meanwhile, ET's in a hospital. Bruh. He jacked him up.
It just ain't no good man.
Speaker 3 (32:38):
Did y'all see it? Keep to leave talking about it.
And I remember one.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
Time, man, I was gonna say, like, somehow keep to leave,
like tells a story about beating up a cab driver
because he was drunk. He was like, man like, dude,
that's no, that's not good either.
Speaker 5 (32:54):
Like you're not painting yourself in a good light because.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
You're like, yeah, man, I got drunk one time up
punched a cab driver in the face.
Speaker 5 (33:02):
It's like, well, okay, that's stupid.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
I mean, you do know the story about his brother.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
Oh yeah, I would just stay away from certain things
if I was a kip to leave.
Speaker 5 (33:13):
He don't care.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
He does not care.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
Like, hey, listen, man, let me just tell you, you
gotta be serious about these things.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
And I'm gonna have a serious moment with y'all.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
Sometimes you go on the road, but you you get
things done on Friday, but.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
You ain't got nothing to do on Saturday.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
He was ratting the mouth me guts me and guys
just get faded at the bar.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
I got faded at the bar, got to the got
to the cab. I was loud.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
He said I was too loud. I said shut up.
He said, now you shut up. I said, all right,
next time, I'm gonna bust you in your mouth. I
got back on the phone. He turned the right and
shut up.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
I took off on him.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Sometimes you just these things happen. When asked about a
police what do you remember? I don't remember much. I
just remember.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
Getting out of the car and the and the cat
driver was upset with me, said.
Speaker 3 (34:12):
They asked Mark, what do you remember? And he I
just remember grabbing the window and trying to climb in.
I don't I don't know, I don't remember. That stuff
is powerful, bro, Whatever it is these cats be on
when they be acting out, that stuff be powerful, bro.
Speaking of yeah, haang, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 1 (34:36):

The guys are here to bring you in case you

Speaker 1 (35:57):
And for that we turn it over to our executive
producer in today, the one and only Bree Mirore.
Speaker 12 (36:03):
Good morning, Good morning, guys, happy to be here morning.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
What's up all right? What you got okay.
Speaker 12 (36:10):
So Mike McDaniel, you know, the Dolphins are one in
four and after that really really embarrassing loss to the
Carolina Panthers twenty seven, twenty four, he was asked about
his meeting with owner Stephen Ross and this was his response.
Speaker 13 (36:24):
He was really frustrated at the Uh, you know, just
like he's as as I was. And you know we
talked about the the challenge ahead to get ready for
the Chargers and uh, that was kind of the extent
of it.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
Dang was he I was? Was he.
Speaker 5 (36:48):
He's back?
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Bar Look, I gotta stop, Mike. I'm making a que uncomfortable.
But he does throw pin state at me. So I'm
just throw which it is not like they're connected. I mean,
you're not connected to do and I'm just saying Mike
sounded like he was off.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
That ooh ooh, we the real Mike with Daniel's back.
Uh he's back.
Speaker 5 (37:13):
What sounds like he's not gonna be back for long
the way that meeting went.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
I think Schefter said on uh.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
I think it was Pat McAfee's show starring AJ Hawk
that Uh, there's been no talk. They're nowhere close to
making a change at coach in Miami that that was
the report from Schefter.
Speaker 5 (37:34):
Well, yeah, Chefter's never made inaccurate report.
Speaker 3 (37:37):
No, no, no, oh, Mike, you got Mike.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
You gotta do better than that, my guy.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
You can't have the whole world looking at your team
struggling and then you sound like you struggling to even
get a sentence and a thought together and out your mouth.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
That's that's a bad look, just.
Speaker 3 (37:59):
Saying like you totally got totally was fumbling on what
he was thinking of the feeling.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
Sorry, Nick Sable will be there next year, so don't
worry about it. He's already done that, been there, done that. Yeah,
what else? Bree?
Speaker 12 (38:11):
Okay, So the Chargers have obviously kind of struggled the
last few weeks, and so it was seeing Justin Herbert
kind of like, I don't know Joe all and I
forgot the other tackles name they got hurt?
Speaker 2 (38:22):
Yes?
Speaker 12 (38:23):
Oh yeah, they just he just got paid.
Speaker 5 (38:24):
Okay.
Speaker 12 (38:25):
So he's on pace to finish his sixth season with
six hundred and twenty five total hits. Can you guys
guess the other quarterback that was sacked five hundred and
eighty times before he retired in his six year career.
Speaker 5 (38:38):
Ooh, Car, Car, probably.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Right, it's actually Andrew Luck. Oh that's a good one.
Speaker 5 (38:45):
Oh, Car got hit more than anyone though.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
Yeah he did. Car, Yep, don't. I don't tell you
from Salamad.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
And he's got strong thoughts on that, does he Well,
he just said, was there's a lot of times that
we got dinged for sacks when he would run out
of bounds behind the line of scrimmage.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
He goes, yeah, that's probably true. He also, I mean
there's also look, quarterbacks need to get rid of the football.
There's all that I've told you guys before. PTR Protect
the rating. These cats like they're taught now at a
young age not to throw the football away.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
You're rating, that is cool.
Speaker 4 (39:16):
Protect the rating so you run out of bounds, take
a sack or you know they do that down.
Speaker 5 (39:21):
I had a kid, it's a wild dude, his.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
Quarter It hurts the team, but his quarterback coach told
him it was the right thing to do. I said, well,
so did your quarterback tell you you'll be on the bench.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
You ain't got to worry about no quarterback rating. Get
on my level. Hey, don't listen to them
