Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the best of two pros and a couple Joe
with Lamar Areas and Rady Winn and Jonas Knox on
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
We want to get this out of the way, man,
it is what it is.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Everybody, What are you going to.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Do, because yeah, social media was alive and well on Saturday,
I wouldn't know.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yeah, I gave it. I gave it a break on Saturday.
He took it, took time away, took a little time
off from from social.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
Yeah, that was.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
I did not I was there. I had to watch
that in person.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
What was the crowd split?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
You see, First of all, we had more We probably
had more people there. It might have been like fifty
two fifty five to their you know, forty whatever. It
was not a lot of people there. I mean there
was like I don't know, man, I was I was

(01:06):
joking before. I was joking before the game, like this
is crazy, Like imagine being the ad of a school
like this. Like no support there was, like literally it
was such a small percentage of people supportive.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
By the way, and even the little bit of support
you're supposed to have Martin Jarman doesn't have because they're
trying to fire him. Based on everything that's transpired. So
I mean there's literally like a hashtag a campaign the
whole thing on campus.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
So well, another one probably emerged after that weekend that
that game in that venue in particular.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
Jeez man, all right, can I can I have kind
of step up the bat because you go back a'ta
be honest with you this this this actually pissed me off,
Like this game pissed me off. Now it's not for
like the personal emotional reasons that like this was one
of my favorite bets of the week. Honestly, what it is,

(02:07):
it's like there's too much potential on that team. There's
too many good players on that roster. There's been so
much money invested into that program, into Jim Knowles, Andy
Kotalnikki for them to come out and literally flop flop
like that and we can sit there and we can

(02:28):
talk about, hey, they allowed Oregon to beat them twice,
or there was a couple injuries, bullshit, Like I'm gonna
say it, that's bs to me. This has happened now
three times in the history of college.

Speaker 6 (02:42):
Football where a team that was zero to four has
been a top ten team since nineteen fifty five. Here
are the only two other times it's happened.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
Nineteen eighty five BYU got upset by UTEP, nineteen fifty eight,
Navy upset by Tulame.

Speaker 6 (03:00):
That's it. And then Penn State.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
And I think what bothers me the most about it
is and this is not like at James Franklin or
shot at James Franklin. The truth of the matter is
like there's a lot of parody.

Speaker 6 (03:14):
In college football.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Like I watched that game and I thought to myself,
all right, like, if Niko and Malaiava's not there, does
you sillly win that game?

Speaker 6 (03:23):
Probably not.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
He's that talented of a player where they can have
a few guys and they can have a stud quarterback
even on a team that's own four that again one
of the most the biggest underdogs you'll ever see, and
they can still find a way to win.

Speaker 6 (03:40):
Some of these games.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
And so it's not I guess that's surprising because of
the way college football or the direction that's going, But
it ticks me off for the players because that program,
Penn State and then just being there on campus, the
fan base, everything else, there's so much behind it, and

(04:01):
every single time they underachieve.

Speaker 6 (04:05):
Like you're You're not in the same vein of Michigan
or Ohio State. You're not. I'm sorry that may.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Come off this pass go ahead.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
It makes me so mad though, for the players because
it's wasted. Like I I you know, I know Drew
a little bit. That's a great flipping kid. And I
don't know if it's him. I don't know if it's
the offense. Like I don't know if Andy Cole Nicky
got called up to the Yankees and he forgot how
to hit like that, that happens, right, how many baseball
players we see go to the Yankees and they get
there like, yeah, they're not as good as they once were.

(04:36):
They just they can't handle that pressure of the big
stage of blue blood like that. I'm not sure what
it is at Kansas. I watched him. He's innovative, he's creative.
I watch this Penn State offensive like it stinks. It stinks,
and look back. Maybe it's just hours not as good
as I thought. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think
I am. I think I'm pretty damn good at like
what I do and evaluating teams, players, the whole whole thing.

(04:59):
And so I I sit there and I look at
James Frank, I'm like, where else do we want to
point the finger? Like, like, where else are we gonna
point it at this point because if I'm a fan,
if I'm a player, like I look at what could
have been this season, arguably rose talented team. I'm not
gonna say ever, but at least at least in the

(05:20):
last two decades, and it's all gone to waste now
because they got a really, really tough stretch. They gotta
play Ohio State in Indiana and back to back weeks.
I don't think they win both those games and that
and at nine to three they're not getting in. I'm
sorry they're not. And it ticks me off because of
what could have been for these players, what could have

(05:41):
been for some of those guys, you know, as well
as anyone LeVar guys came back, and so to sit
here and watch Jerry.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
Neuheisel, who's never called a game before ever.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
In his life two days time to yeah, by the way.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Having having trouble calling the place because he would have
his microphone up above his head because he used to
be in a position coach and.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
Talking to the players, hitting the wrong button.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
Couldn't even operationally get the plays in running laps around gymnalls.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
The whole thing was pathetic. Well yeah, I'm not usually.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Out of loss for words.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Uh, all you had to do was put a guy
in the middle of that defense that could run as
fast as the quarterback and it was never done. And
and literally, I mean there were there were mistakes the

(06:55):
the on side. Give credit to u c l A.
They they saw something and they took advantage of it
and it worked. But they came out in that first
first drive and Penn State couldn't stop the run when
they made when they were able to get ahead of
the downs and of the chains, all they did was

(07:19):
allow for the receivers to clear it, clear it out.
The linebackers seemed to be in in coverage as well,
and Nico ran. Nico ran them to a victory. And
that shouldn't When you have a team is talented and

(07:41):
as loaded as as Penn States is, that just shouldn't happen.
I'm hoping that this is a wake up call for them.
It certainly is a reality check for our fan base
because we've always taken these games for granted and now
it's like, now you get to feel what losing really

(08:03):
feels like. Like there's a disappointment when you lose a
big game and you can talk about, oh, we haven't
won the big game. We don't win the big game, okay,
but when you lose a game like that, the pain
I felt when that clock struck zero was way different
than the disappointment I felt when we lost in overtime,

(08:25):
double overtime to Oregon.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
It felt different. It's a respectable loss.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
I just didn't looking at the way we played in
that game. My most critical takeaway was we don't look
like a team an outfit that is improving. It looks
like a team that is struggling to figure out ways
to have success. And that just can't be what the

(08:54):
observation is when you're a major, major power five blue
blood program. It can't like saying, can't mention in the
same breath as some of those those teams like a
Michigan or Ohio State. It's it didn't it again. You

(09:17):
can have a bad day and and you could look
at it and say, Okay, they had a bad day.
They you know, they Cotpenstate off guard. But for me,
because I go to all of these games and I
watch it and I break it down. You know, I
don't really watch as a fan. I can't. I watch

(09:38):
as if I were coaching the game, or if I
was you know, Okay, how what are the in game adjustments?
This is what they're trying to do. They had no
real strategy, honestly, I mean, you'd have to assume it
was very, very very simple in terms of let's try
to stay on time, let's let's try to win the
early downs and hope that we can fight in the

(09:58):
later downs. They and that's what they They really did that,
I mean, they stayed ahead. We really did not slow
them down in the first half. I don't think they
punted one time, if I recall correctly, I don't. I
was in such shock. I might have missed some of it,
but I don't think they punted one time in the
first in the first half, and and so it's one

(10:21):
of those games. It's concerning to me. It's disappointing, like
you said, Q, for me one hundred percent looking at
those young men in their faces and seeing just the disappointment,
which I would say that that leads to what my
biggest concern is. You know, your biggest concern when looking
at a team with so much talent, is did you

(10:45):
lose them like that? They are they losing hope on
the season and because you saw I saw something that,
like I just did, the demeanor of them when they
were walking off of the field. Man, it just it
wasn't good.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Do you think if they if they win that Oregon game,
does that happen on Saturday. I don't think it does.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
I don't know. I don't know because I don't like.
You gotta you gotta shake off a loss, and you
gotta and you gotta have you gotta have yourself ready
and prepared to play that next week. Now, I'll be
the first one to say I won't. I won't throw
stones from a glasshouse. I mean, but it was a
different time. When I was in school. We lost a

(11:28):
hell mary last second kick, Minnesota beats us, We go
on a three game skit. We lost the next two games.
Now I think that was I think the next game
we were fighting the idea of we knew we weren't
going to have an opportunity to play in the National
Championship Game. And I don't know, no, I was thinking

(11:52):
I was talking when I was in school, So I'm saying.
I don't want to be I don't want to be
a critical person of saying that their emotions was the
reason why they lost, because I know that's how we
lost when I was in school. This is what I'm
saying the example I'm given, So I don't I don't
want to sit here and say I'm holier than that,
say no, that it couldn't have been an emotional loss
that took place. I just I just don't think that

(12:15):
they looked good coming off of a rebound game like
that should have been the game that was dialed up doctors' orders.
That's your prescription. Go play UCLA. You'll get back in
the win column. Get yourselves together, you come back, you
have you have homecoming with Northwestern, get right in that game,

(12:35):
and then then you're you're really ready for the meat
of the schedule to make the run for the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
You know.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
I just didn't feel as though this team looked as
they just didn't look like they've improved. And that that's
concerning my two concerns. They didn't look like they have
really improved as a team. And is this locker room lost.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
But that's what happens when you play cupcakes out the stretch,
which was talked about and discussed.

Speaker 6 (13:06):
And there's a reality to it, like this is not
that Dan and age of college football anymore.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
Where you play this you know, sisious of the blind
for the first three weeks, and then you get into
some real games and you then struggle and you wonder why,
I don't know what, maybe why other teams have played
power forward programs. They were prepared for the physicality, they're
prepared for the scheme, the you know, better talent they're
playing against. Here's what I know is this Penn State program,

(13:32):
is said ceiling, and it pains me to say that.
I really like James Franklin, and I'm not like a
believer that you need to always you know, there just
needs to be changed sometimes for change's sake.

Speaker 6 (13:44):
But based on how this season.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
Is going to go.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
Nine, eight and four and it doesn't make the playoff,
we'll see what happens at a bowl game be meaningless
at that point.

Speaker 6 (13:56):
I would not be shocked if they don't start looking
looking around. I just I don't know what.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
Other direction you go, Like this was such a loaded
up all in year, and LaVar, I'm sure you know
the detail is better than I do. But you look
at the past two years, the way Michigan did it
two years ago, the High State did this last year.
This felt like that year for Penn State and they
wildly unachieved and it's literally taken them to what we're

(14:26):
going in the Week seven of college football.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
I have no response to it other than other it's
a weird conversation for me because I do know a lot,
so I got to stay away from it just to
protect my own interest in the school's interest. But it
wasn't a good look, I'll say that. And while there's

(14:51):
still time, you got to say it's it's definitely a situation.
What what did they say to coaching? Uh and in
the program you I'm not saying you lost your job yet,
but you do need to win. And I think it's

(15:14):
taken on a different meaning of winning now. So I
hope they can win.

Speaker 5 (15:20):
Look, yeah, if they beat Ohio State, you know, that
might change the perception. Can't lose the Indiana the next
week though, Yeah, I know Indiana has a I know
Indiana has a big one this week and won't find
more about them then, but I just man, that was
that was tough to watch.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Exactly confidence man like, like I'll come away from a
loss and be like, that's our It was like like
the Oregon game. It was like we had it. We
had that game, Like we had it. Defense ran out
of gas, but we had it. We could have got
that game. This game, I'm sitting there and I'm like,
oh my god, we're going to lose this game. We're

(16:02):
we're really gonna We're We're really going.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
To lose it.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
I'm really going to lose this bro. They were and
it's the manner of which some of the things happened.
Like they were on the sideline. They were like dancing,
they were throwing, they were they were like like oop,
do you and their coaches like they got their holding
the coaches throwing like they're out of bar mitzvah.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Or something like that. I don't think people listening in
other parts of the country understand how little people care
about UCLA.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
Out here.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Nobody cares. There was nobody there. Nobody cares. It's like
they are a non story.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
There was like twenty people there and they were saying
over and it was really loud. Them twenty people were
really loud.

the old peon X Petro's Good morning.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Good morning, Hello, Hello, everybody doing oh having a rough time?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Yeah? Well tell us what was your takeaway?

Speaker 4 (19:28):
Well, I mean I think that there's a couple things
I thought. I met Tim Skipper, I don't know last
year when he took over for Jeff Tedford who got
sick and couldn't coach at Fresno State, and he was
an interim there, and I thought he did a really
good job. And I thought he did a really good
job communicating. I thought he did a really good job

(19:51):
trying to keep the culture of the program going. And
you can see they're having a good year under matt Ends,
And I thought he would do a good job. But
he took over uc LA. Now I don't know what
that would translate into, but you know, just a good
job keeping the team together. Now you know his father's
not Rick Neuheisel sitting in a studio screaming and yelling

(20:13):
live on TV. So Jerry got a lot of the attention,
and rightfully. So it's a great story. And Jerry's a
good guy and we've known him for a long time.
And you know his wife was excited after the game.
But oh, you guys didn't see that video?

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Yeah I did. Nice, I've seen a lot of videos. Yes, yes,
So I'm just not going to be very loud about
this topic. That's all, no, I under.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
I mean, I think there's a couple elements here. I
think Oregon kind of beat Penn State twice. I think
no matter who you are, whether you're going all the
way east or all the way west, uh, and you
go into some weird stadium that you haven't played in
a while, with a team that it's it's not in intimidating,

(21:00):
but it's wonky for a college football team, and it
takes a while to get their bearings. But I think,
you know, you got to give Nico and UCLA credit.
They've been taking a lot of incoming. I mean, we
had a guy on just last week who's with the
team twenty four to seven, and he thought they were
going to go winless, so hell of a turnaround. I

(21:23):
know Penn State people are upset, and everybody's calling for
not everybody, but everybody's calling for James Franklin's job. But
you know, it's a different time and day and age too,
where you got to pay the players and you've got
to pay a lot of different things. It's not as
easy to buy your coach out if he's got some
giant buy out let alone come up with a bunch

(21:44):
of money to hire a new one and a new staff.
So it's unfortunate. Penn State a very talented team and
they're out as far you know the right now. Things
can change in Texas too, you know. And it just
goes to show, you know, how much talk and the
and you didn't have to look too hard to be like, yeah,
Florida's going to beat Texas. I mean, I think a

(22:05):
lot of people felt that, and uh and it's a
it's a little bit. It's it's interesting, it's great about
college football, but it's also an indictment on the way
that we hype teams up during the offseason. But congratulations,
look at you, CLA. I don't know if I don't
know how much they'll do. I mean, I don't think
they're going to the College Playoff, but certainly, and it's

(22:28):
not going to fill the Rose Bowl. They could go
undefeated and they're still not going to fill the Rose Bowl.
But it was a great day for Bruins because it's
been such a terrible year for them.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
Yeah, we could be a positive spot for them.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
I'm sorry about that, LeVar, No problem. I picked to.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
Win, yes, yes, yeah, you mentioned Texas obviously Clemson, like
three teams that you know, we we had really high
you know, expectations for aspirations.

Speaker 6 (22:58):
How you rewarded?

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (23:00):
Since out of it, you know, Penn State's still maybe
in the mix, maybe Texas too, But what do you
what's your conclusion like when you look at the landscape
at college football? Has it changed that much in the
past three, four or five years with the portld everything
else and creating more parody?

Speaker 4 (23:14):
I guess, uh, I mean look at the SEC, you know,
I mean, when was the last championship the SEC one?
Has it been three years now? And we spent decades
with just SEC teams win in the championship and people
in the South telling us all that we are all
weenies and none of us know how to play right. Yes,

(23:38):
on the South we reconnoiter football teams in a different way.
Uh they did, you know, I mean we, I mean
they literally it just means more that it's the sec
uh whatever you call it, the mantra. So I you know,
it has changed a lot. You can, I mean you

(24:00):
can be Indiana that nobody looked. I mean I remember
being young and Northwestern made a run and beat everybody
and then lost to USC Darnel Audrey, Steve Schner, Pat
Fitzgerald was the Mike backer, and you know there was
a miracle. You know, when Gary Barnett did it in

(24:23):
Northwestern was a miracle to people. I mean we're still
talking about it today. And they went all the way
to the Rose Bowl. And now maybe it wouldn't be
as much of a shock because look at Indiana's turnaround,
look at the turnaround in different different schools in different circumstances.

(24:45):
Hire somebody and everything changes, or they build an on
campus stadium like Tulane or Houston or UCF. We've seen
a lot of that over the years and as as
the game has evolved. But yeah, I do think there
is more parody and I do think that it's probably

(25:05):
a good thing. You have to build your team faster,
and sometimes people take a little time to build their team,
and you can't really tell in year one, but then
in year two they pop up and you're like, wow,
you know, I don't think that's going to happen at UNC,
but I agree with you. I think the modern and
I think look now that we've cut down the portal

(25:27):
and we're getting a little bit more uniformity, that things
will settle in. But it's been wild for a few
years and it's still a great product.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Petros the great Tim Kates, who will be on the
blowtorch Am five to seventy LA Sports after we go
off the air coming up.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
At six scams Kates and Sacks in the am.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
He did he digs confirmed that you saxs and Kates
in the AM.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
You will be at Dodger Stadium later on later on today,
So will we be celebrating a sweep? Are they actually?
Because the Panic Brothers feel like man up and vanish
like a fart in the wind nowhere.

Speaker 4 (26:08):
Yeah, the Dodgers, it's been exciting, you know when I
mean they put that Blake Trinan in the other night
and everybody almost lost their minds. But it's crazy. I mean,
working in LA sports and being and you know, do
it afternoon drive in LA for twenty years and all that,
it's interesting, you know, when Philly lost that game too,

(26:31):
just to look at the Philadelphia media and literally just
guys screaming at the top of their lungs at each other,
just absolutely unhinged, livid and crazy. And it's not like,
you know, we're the best sports town in the world
in LA. We kind of suck. But God, at least
we don't knack like that. You know, I get it.

(26:56):
They're frustrated. The Penn State lost twice, and Philly lost twice,
and and and then the Eagles lost too, So I
got to understand that there's a lot of frustration. But
at the same time, I was like, wow, these people
are just crazy. They switched to the baby blue uniforms.
So now that Philly has switched, they went to their

(27:19):
their manager, Rob Thompson, not Thomas from Matchbox twenty, but Thompson.
They went to him and told him that they want
to wear the blues, the baby Blues, so maybe that
means something. It'll be Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitching tonight. He had
a great year, not a cy young year, but close

(27:39):
really good pitcher with a lot of swagger who pitched
brilliantly last year in the in the postseason. So he's
going to pitch tonight against Aaron Nola. Dodger Stadium will
be all riled up and out for blood, so very
possible that they could get a sweep and then take
on the Brewers and we'll see what happens there. But uh,

(28:00):
it's an exciting time in town when the Dodgers are
in the playoffs. Also very difficult for scheduling.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
Let me, I'm gonna I'm gonna go back to football.
I'm gonna get out of baseball.

Speaker 4 (28:12):
But that's fair. I'm not you know, I am considered
one of the foremost baseball experts on the West.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
I think that's a car super dope with it. I
just it's just not my cup of tea. That's all
not about you, Just more about me being able to
ask you, you know, a better question that than if
I were to try to ask you about baseball. But okay,
I was I was curious like this this past weekend
in college football, you are seeing, you know, you are

(28:40):
seeing things like what happened to Penn State take play
or what happened for uh U c l A take place.
You're you're seeing upsets take place. I mean in our
day and in our time, upsets took place as well.
I can remember app State, you know, Appellation taking on
Michigan and beating Michigan And.

Speaker 4 (28:59):
That was the very first game in the history of
the Big Ten Network.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
How about that? I didn't know that?

Speaker 4 (29:05):
Was it?

Speaker 2 (29:05):
Really?

Speaker 6 (29:06):
Yep?

Speaker 3 (29:06):
But but can.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
You like Carissa Thompson on the sideline?

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Oh, wow, she's she's climbed pretty high since since then.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
She used to work at HR. I remember that.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
Wow. So what do you how does how does today's
because I seem to feel like this new college football,
this era that that has now been ushered in, I
believe is just as exciting as the nineties. I mean,
I thought the nineties were a pretty exciting time in

(29:40):
college football. How do you see like where you know
college football is currently in terms of competitiveness?

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Well, I think we you know, it's hard to say
because the game has changed so much. So, you know,
stuff that we used to do to each other or
have done to us is totally different. And you games play.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
Hundred g's if you do what we used to do.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Yeah, and and and we would didn't have one hundred
g's to give anybody. I mean, you know, we didn't
get paid. So I mean, I think the coaches have
a much tougher job building the team together, you know,
and kind of molding and welding the team together, because
we used to do it in a much different way.
We used to do it kind of in a trial

(30:25):
by fire and by being in the same recruiting class,
being in the same dorm, you know, being in the
same classes, being together. Now they do it by going
on river rafts and bowling and team building exercises because
the team's not really together like they used to be.

(30:48):
But there's a thousand ways to do it, you know.
There's there's all kinds of different ways to build your team.
There's all kinds of different ways to put it together.
And I mean, I look at I have Cincinnati week,
and I'm looking at Cincinnati and I'm.

Speaker 6 (31:03):
Like, oh, you're a football team, by the way.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
Maybe the most underrated in the country, you know right now.
I mean, they have a beautiful offensive line that they've
kept together. They have two tight ends from Ohio State.
They have a cornerback that they got from Indiana. They
have you know, two transfer running backs that are physical
as hell and angry. They have one of those. They

(31:26):
poached one of those j Norvel receivers from Colorado State,
which everybody does because he's so good at finding him.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
You know.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
They have another guy from some Lynnfield or some weird place.
I mean. So they've found big time players from big
time programs, big time players from smaller programs. And they've
you know, people like the center that they're that as
their captain and maybe best player on offense. You know,
they've they've cultivated and it's been there forever, and recruits

(31:56):
people and loves the plays. You know, all of those things,
you know, come together and you have talent, you have
some camaraderie, and you have good coaching to keep them
together in Scott Saderfield and you have something good going.
And they weren't very happy with him last year, were they, Brady? No? No,

(32:20):
I mean, you know, this is taking this guy a
year and now he's got Cincinnati playing at a very
high level. So you know, you just it's so individual.
You really have to look at a team, talk to
the coaches, see how they're made up, see who's been
there for a while, see who they brought in. And
then there's also the two elements. Do you bring in

(32:41):
a guy from an Ohio State who maybe hasn't played
as much and isn't happy that was a five star recruit?
What's his attitude going to be like in a smaller place.
You know, some people bring in guys like that. Some
people say, well, who's the best player at New Mexico State,
Let's get him. You know, who was the best leader
at Elon, Let's get him, you know, and and and both.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
Have worked about the running back from San Jose.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
Yeah, yeah, he's mean as hell.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
Yeah, well that was about him a little scataboo.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
Uh that was San Jose. He came from Sacramento Scataboo.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
Yeah, But I'm talking about the kid that place for
San Jose State right now.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
He's switched Steve Steve soo.

Speaker 4 (33:26):
Oh Steve Soda. Well, I haven't watched as much of them.
I know they have another good receiver, and last year
they led the receiver that led the country. I love
I love San Jose State, but I haven't seen him
this year.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (33:38):
Okay o, wait, so you're going to nip Are you
in a Cincinnati this bekend?

Speaker 4 (33:42):
Yes, if you know there's hell yeah, I'm not very
happy about it having.

Speaker 5 (33:47):
Have you been there to call a game though, Petrick,
I've never been to the dude. I'm telling you that
place rocks.

Speaker 10 (33:53):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
I'm looking forward to being there. It's one of the
oldest college football as you know, I just don't travel
very well.

Speaker 5 (34:00):
I know, but that this is gonna be a great game.
And I'm just telling you the environment there is awesome.
That fan base is. It's one of the most underrated
because everyone's like, oh, they go to pro team there.
I'm telling you those kids that community shows out like
they just love ball, doesn't matter if it's pro, college,
high school, whatever. So you're in for a great time.

Speaker 4 (34:19):
The standing game last year, and I'm looking forward to
being there and seeing the team this year.

Speaker 5 (34:25):
That's good, You'll get there. I'm gonna switch gears a
little bit. This is gonna be more off the wall
question and I'll give you the backstory on the other
side of this. But if you're at a funeral and
there happens to be just a fluorescent thong poking out
showing do you look I mean, is it like a
car accident you can't help?

Speaker 6 (34:45):
But now look at that, how do you handle that situation?

Speaker 3 (34:49):
No, it's a question though, I mean California never did
a question.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I'm looking at that. I mean,
I'm not going to be like, yeah, am I outside?
Do I have my sun glasses?

Speaker 9 (35:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:07):
You got liquor store Loaks'.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
That was did you hear the A that I gave
you costco?

Speaker 2 (35:20):
Let's hear it? Come on, it's too late now it
seems like it.

Speaker 11 (35:26):
Oh no, so Petros, But yeah, no, I guess uh
so the backlogy and it's not like you know, I'd
go full missile lock on whoever. Yeah, the backstory to
all this is we're giving Jonas a hard time how
we never get together, and he's basically using the death

(35:47):
of his mom her funeral as the last as the
last time he invited us to do something.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
Together alone time that.

Speaker 5 (35:54):
He's and then and then this came up because one
of the family members may made had a fluoresce and
fall on.

Speaker 4 (36:01):
Yeah, well that's guys, you know, a whale tail.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
It was, which was really hard to not look at
in the moment, especially as she was like popping up
and down on the casket, which made it again like
it was like one instance where it like breached.

Speaker 6 (36:15):
It was like, no, it was.

Speaker 5 (36:16):
It sounds out. Yeah, there it is again. Okay, it
was hard not to notice it.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
It was.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
It was what all we're gonna have said to you
guys all my costco host.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
That's not I would love them.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
Oh gosh, but yeah, that's unfortunate. But you guys do
get together, you know on other occasions, you know, super Bowl,
super Bowl, that's.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
It, you know, like occasion occasion. I mean you could
throw in when we when you know, the Graduate Hotel
loved us and gave us an opportunity to do a remote. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
They moved on to Joel Clatt and Gus Jenny Taffy.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
On the bigger, better things, I mean outside of Q
obviously you know it is what it is. Petros, Uh,
maybe you could advocate for his Petros. I know, I
don't know, Thoms you got it that I could use
the truck, uh, Joanas definitely could use a pickup.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
Yeah, Petros, My Tacoma's approaching three hundred ninety thousand miles.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
Let me know, I'll send you over to your other
California Toyota dealer. We make it easy.

Speaker 6 (37:24):
If I was to look for that dealership, how would
I find that dealership? Petros?

Speaker 4 (37:29):
Which dealership?

Speaker 6 (37:31):
The wolf? The cat?

Speaker 4 (37:33):
Oh, Felix, the cat, that's the slick chef Felix Chevrolet Cadillac.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:38):
Yeah, on the corner of Fingaroa and Jefferson.

Speaker 6 (37:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
You see that big black beautiful cat. You know that he's.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
Ready to go, black beautiful cat.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
He's got a finger pointing a yeah, beckoning you to
come in for some great deals. Yet he's got his
hand on his hip because he's comfortable with his sexuality. Yeah,
he's bent at the knees as he's ready to pounce
on you with a great deal. Cat.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
He's talking about that black cat.

Speaker 4 (38:06):
Yeah, big black beautiful cat. Felix Chevrolin cadialect Felix Cat.
The sign is a local landmark.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
In the city of Los Angeles, like the donut.

Speaker 4 (38:16):
Can't tear it down, Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (38:19):
Yeah, Petros, I know obviously you're going to be in Cincinnati.
I don't know if you're going Skyline or gold Star,
but you're probably gonna want to pair that with Lebron's hennessy.
Your thoughts and that does a taste.

Speaker 4 (38:33):
Oh Lebron's new hennessy. Yeah, a lot of people thought
he was going to retire.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
I mean, the big announcement, the big unveil yesterday.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
Could they get Jim Gray to sit there with him?
Who is that?

Speaker 6 (38:45):
I just by the way, like, I'm not sure what
was worst.

Speaker 5 (38:48):
Petro's this one or the fact that he's like making
a playoff.

Speaker 6 (38:53):
The first one was an absolute disaster.

Speaker 5 (38:56):
Yeah, like one of the worst, one of the worst
public press, whatever you want to call him ever in
the history.

Speaker 4 (39:01):
Him into more of a villain. And before that, you know,
he was the most liked player in the NBA by far,
And when he did that, it kind of started the
story of the anti Lebron fan. And it is interesting
because it doesn't seem like he has a great you know,
between putting his son on a team and all the

(39:23):
other things that we've seen and dealt with with Lebron
for years, it doesn't seem like he reads the room
very well. Telling everybody you invented Taco Tuesday, telling everybody
you invented speaking in a barber shop, and you know,
now mocking. Well, I don't know if he's mocking what

(39:45):
he did before. I don't know. I just I don't
think he knows, or maybe he does know how polarizing
he's become, especially with Laker fans. But the riding's on
the wall with the Lake. They're done with him. You know,
he'll be there, but they've they've you know, they've moved on.
They've signed Luca to a long term deal. At media day,

(40:10):
everybody was talking about playing with Luca. Nobody was really
talking about playing with Lebron, and uh, you know, there's
always something he does to bring attention to himself. Story
comes out about Luca, So Lebron releases a workout video.
You know, it's just it's it's gotten pretty tiresome but
also relatively predictable. But good for him. You know, he

(40:33):
needs the money.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
I caught it. I caught it. We always appreciate it.
When do you still when do you travel at this
Cincinnati Friday morning?

Speaker 4 (40:46):
If there's air traffic controllers, I don't know. I'm very
upset about it. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
Yeah, And it's a new Eastern time kick, so you'll

Speaker 10 (45:36):
In.

Speaker 2 (45:37):
I can't even say it all sorts of Buckeye apparel,
We'll put it that way. In watching a mechg Buka
and Jackson Smith and Jigba put on a show in
Seattle last week. Abeah, good morning.

Speaker 13 (45:52):
Shut up Brian Hartline, right like that?

Speaker 10 (45:55):
That was that was something else.

Speaker 14 (45:57):
It was like, I the crazy thing is neither of
those guys or really ever the number one receiver at
Ohio State.

Speaker 10 (46:06):
But there they were both number one receivers in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (46:10):
Damn right, yeah, damn right. So Aby, I got to
ask you something else you're familiar with, and it's not
it's college related, but you've been around and covered him
for a long time. Just the mess that's going on
with Bill Belichick at North Carolina, the different reports he's
on his way out within two weeks. People aren't happy
there and then they released a joint statement last night

(46:32):
from people you've talked to around the NFL or even
in college circles. Was there any expectation that it was
going to be this bad with Belichick?

Speaker 13 (46:45):
No, I mean I don't think.

Speaker 14 (46:46):
I don't think I thought it would be that bad
like this, you know, I mean, like this really does
feel like Irban Iron Jacksonville.

Speaker 10 (46:52):
You know, Like and I I.

Speaker 14 (46:55):
You know, I think there was a feeling that maybe
it wouldn't work, And there were some moves where you said, okay,
like I'm not sure exactly what they're thinking. Was that
one and then there was like, you know, I.

Speaker 13 (47:10):
Think the normal like who does this guy think.

Speaker 10 (47:14):
He is with some of the you.

Speaker 13 (47:16):
Know, with the with and I think, like maybe.

Speaker 14 (47:18):
More Michael Lombardi, like the way that they were talking,
you know, about their program. But I don't know that
anybody thought it would be the abjecent disaster that that
that that it's been to this point. You know, I like,
I think there was a feeling that, you know, at
the end of the day, regardless of how weird some
of this stuff looks, you know, both on the field

(47:40):
and off the field, like that he would be able
to coach his way out of it to at least
a level where they would look decent on the field,
and and that hasn't been the case obviously, And so
you know, I think a huge reason why it is
like a lot of the infrastructure he had New England,
you know, and guys like Nobody's you know, a lot
of people out there haven't heard Ernie Adams, Bearsgerian guys that.

Speaker 10 (48:03):
Were really you know, a huge part of like the operation.

Speaker 14 (48:06):
There and making sure the train was on the track
so Bill could do what he's really good at at
the highest level. A lot of that isn't there, you know,
in North Carolina.

Speaker 10 (48:16):
A lot of those people aren't there. And his network
isn't what it was.

Speaker 14 (48:19):
Ten or twenty years ago, just as far as filling
out his staff, and so.

Speaker 10 (48:24):
The guy suddenly forgot how to coach football.

Speaker 14 (48:26):
But clearly like the operation that he's set up isn't
isn't even close.

Speaker 10 (48:32):
To what he had even five or ten years ago
in New England.

Speaker 5 (48:36):
So what happens next, I mean, let's say, either at
the end of this year they agree to go their
separate ways, does he does he find a landing spot
somewhere else in the NFL or is it probably more TV?

Speaker 14 (48:47):
Yeah, I think it sort of depends on on what
he's willing to do, and you know how badly he
wants to stay in coaching, Brady, I I don't think
anybody's gonna hire him as a head coach right now.
I'd be surprised anyway, It only takes one, you know,
that can happen. But I'd be surprised.

Speaker 10 (49:08):
If he got hired as a head coach by any
NFL team in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 14 (49:12):
So, you know, then it's all right, well, are you
willing to be an assistant? Will you be a defensive coordinator?
Could you be a senior defensive assistant? You know, maybe
you'd be you know, a front office, you know, executives.

Speaker 13 (49:28):
Somebody is there is there something you're.

Speaker 14 (49:30):
Willing to do where you aren't necessarily in charge? And
I don't know, you know what I mean, Like, I
don't know what the answer to that is. So, you know,
I think whether you know or not, he winds up
in you know, in coaching or the media. Next year,
we'll really ride on how badly he wants.

Speaker 10 (49:47):
To get back into coaching, because I.

Speaker 14 (49:49):
Think the ship has sailed on some sort of perfect situation,
you know, presenting a self for him.

Speaker 10 (49:55):
In the NFL.

Speaker 13 (49:56):
But if he does want to go coach somewhere, if
he does want.

Speaker 14 (49:59):
To go help out on a staff, you know, obviously,
I think any coach, I think a lot of coach
in the NFL would think he could bring great value, you.

Speaker 10 (50:08):
Know, in a certain role.

Speaker 14 (50:10):
And so you know, are you willing to do that
if you're him, are you willing to subjugate your ego
and be going to go go and be.

Speaker 10 (50:14):
An assistant somewhere?

Speaker 14 (50:16):
If you are, then you know, I could see, I
could see there be an opportunity for him.

Speaker 10 (50:20):
But I don't think it'll happen as head coach.

Speaker 3 (50:23):
From one head coach to another. Jonathan Gan and he
was fined by the team one hundred thousand dollars, Like,
what do we know the the justification for it? I mean,
I get that it was I mean, listen, coaching conduct
and player conduct and all those things. I get it

(50:46):
that that there's a premium that's placed on it. But
was this worth one hundred thousand dollars?

Speaker 4 (50:54):
I don't know.

Speaker 14 (50:55):
I mean I was able to do a little, a
little digging on this. It's funny because I think, you know,
like we're all sort of a different era, you know, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (51:07):
And we had that conversation. I mean, you can speak freely.
I mean, guys got hit back coaches like they got
dog cutsed out. The language they hear from a coach
is crazy to the way they communicate with players. Sometime
I didn't.

Speaker 10 (51:21):
I didn't. I didn't play at the level you guys did.

Speaker 14 (51:23):
But I sure got my face mask strapped when I
was a kid, and you can't do that anymore, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 13 (51:28):
Like, So you know, I think it's I think you're right.

Speaker 10 (51:32):
Like LeVar, part of it is generational.

Speaker 14 (51:35):
Here's I thought this was an interesting nuance, all right,
because I was doing my podcast yesterday and I was
sort of wondering about this. So I found some texts
and I got an answer. Jonathan Gannon showed the team
the Ady Mitchell play from the week before the Colts
play in a team meeting last week, and I.

Speaker 3 (51:53):
Think I told you Gody said that he did it.

Speaker 5 (51:58):
I said, that's why he was probably so emotional about it,
because it's like.

Speaker 10 (52:03):
A parent freaking showed you this.

Speaker 6 (52:05):
Yeah, right, but it's it's it's like.

Speaker 5 (52:06):
A parent, you just told your kids that, and then
another one goes into the same exact thing. You're like,
what do you understand about this? Like that is what
makes you I rate as a parent, as a head coach,
probably as an employer, like it doesn't matter. Like that's
where I could understand it, because I was like, I
guarantee every head coach in the NFL showed their team

(52:27):
that clip of Ady Mitchell right.

Speaker 14 (52:29):
Right, So that's exactly what it was. So I was
funny because I said that on my podcast, right, So
we were we were on there yesterday, me and Connor
Or and I said, you know what I bet this is.
I'm like, the one thing would make me understand this
is if he just showed it to him. And I
was like, wow, we're while we're recording. I just said,
you know, I'm going to find out right now. And
so sure enough, somebody somebody there responded to me one

(52:54):
thousand percent we showed it to him lastly, so and
apparently this is the sort of thing that like, I
guess that coaching staff has harked him with the guys,
like you know, so that's exactly what it was. And
like that, and to me, like that part of it
makes it understandable. And I think you're right, like Brady,
you can relate it to being a parent, right, like

(53:15):
if you just told your kid to do something and
then he goes out with his buddies and does it
that night, Like how much more angry are you going
to be than if it just happened in a vacuum,
you know what I mean, You're.

Speaker 10 (53:25):
Going to be pissed.

Speaker 14 (53:26):
So I think that that was sort of the emotion
that that that's what brought the emotion to the table
there and I and I know and I know Gannon
felt you know, terrible about you know, putting his hands
on the guy. But like, I also think there's a
level of like we just went over this, you know,
and I think that definitely brings some context a situation.

Speaker 10 (53:46):
And look part of it too.

Speaker 14 (53:48):
I think this is, you know, this is an underrated
piece of it, And I think it relates to a
lot of.

Speaker 10 (53:52):
Different like things in the game.

Speaker 14 (53:55):
Just the fact that we have cameras everywhere, we see
things that we didn't see twenty and thirty years ago,
you know what I mean. So there's stuff that happens
on the sidelines where where tempers flair, and you know,
just because of you know, the technology involved, the fact
that we like everybody in the stadium has a camera
in their pocket.

Speaker 10 (54:14):
You know, we just see way more than we used
to see.

Speaker 14 (54:18):
And you know, sometimes in a in a violent game,
there are some things that happen that there. You know,
people probably don't you know, aren't ready to to to
recog with you know, so I don't know.

Speaker 10 (54:30):
I tend to think it's not the biggest deal in
the world.

Speaker 14 (54:33):
But you know, when you when you when you lose
the way huh yeah, I mean it.

Speaker 3 (54:39):
Feels like, how's that justifiable? Man?

Speaker 2 (54:42):
Like that?

Speaker 10 (54:42):
It feels very excessive to me.

Speaker 14 (54:44):
I would agree with you on that, like, and I
just and I also think like it's I mean, look, man.

Speaker 2 (54:50):
Like.

Speaker 14 (54:52):
You want my personal opinion on it, guys, Yes, yes,
we need to We need to stop calling everything assault,
all right, Like this isn't assault. Like the guy's wearing pads.

Speaker 10 (55:02):
He bumped him and he like he like just.

Speaker 13 (55:05):
You know, kid him in the It's not the same
as winding.

Speaker 10 (55:07):
Up and hitting someone, you know what I mean.

Speaker 14 (55:09):
Like, and it's just like I think, like sometimes we
get so overly sensitive about these things.

Speaker 10 (55:14):
It was an emotional situation. It was diffused.

Speaker 14 (55:17):
Afterwards, the coach felt, pad I don't think we need
to punish things, but I mean the problem is is that, like,
you know, everybody's got a camera in their pockets, so
we see more stuff and then be everybody's got like
this forum on social media to have an opinion on it,
and so public, you know, like this public sentiment that
people who don't understand what's actually happening down there. Public

(55:39):
sentiment gets you know, spun out of control, and then
you know, some team executive feels like they have to
do something about it to.

Speaker 10 (55:45):
Calm the water.

Speaker 6 (55:48):
It's weak.

Speaker 5 (55:50):
Yeah, they're weak, a bunch of idiots on social media.

Speaker 10 (55:55):
I would tend to I would tend to agree with you.
I would tend to agree.

Speaker 2 (56:00):
Have made it in today's era.

Speaker 14 (56:01):
Probably, Yeah, I don't. I don't know.

Speaker 10 (56:03):
I don't know what he would have I don't know
what his way he would have have worked.

Speaker 14 (56:07):
But I think that would go for a lot of guys.

Speaker 10 (56:08):
I mean, that would be I mean.

Speaker 3 (56:10):
Was a face mask grabber, huh? Coop Coop was a
face mask grabber.

Speaker 6 (56:16):
Joe Paul was a face mask grabber.

Speaker 3 (56:18):
Joe Paul was a face mask grabber. I mean we
all like a coordinator was.

Speaker 10 (56:23):
I can't imagine.

Speaker 2 (56:24):
I can't imagine.

Speaker 14 (56:26):
I can't imagine Anyboddy who plays football at any level
in the nineteen nineties did not have their face mask
grabbed by a coach at one point, right.

Speaker 3 (56:35):
Yeah, or slacked or your helmet slack.

Speaker 2 (56:38):
What about the if they've got the long, the keys,
the key chain.

Speaker 3 (56:43):
Yeah, I had my whistle coach the whistle.

Speaker 10 (56:45):
I had my coach.

Speaker 14 (56:46):
I had my coach once telling me I'm the dumbest
smart kid he's ever met.

Speaker 5 (56:49):
So oh dude, Charlie used to tell me that like
every week.

Speaker 10 (56:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (56:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (56:56):
The Browns we talked about it earlier. Where are they at?

Speaker 5 (57:01):
I mean it feels like they're making moves but getting
rid of flack. When I get it, he wants a
chance to play. If he's going to be doing this, Bengos,
give him a chance. He wasn't gona get.

Speaker 6 (57:11):
That in Cleveland. He's not there to babysit.

Speaker 5 (57:14):
The cornerback moves is Stefanski film. The Heat is Andrew
Berry film The Heat.

Speaker 6 (57:19):
Where We at?

Speaker 14 (57:22):
Yeah, I mean I think, well, I think this is
very clearly a retooling year for them, and they don't
want to call it that, but it would have probably
helped him.

Speaker 13 (57:31):
If somebody could just say it to me, like that's.

Speaker 14 (57:34):
The Travis Hunter deal, you know what I mean, Like
trading out of the second overall pick was like one
player isn't gonna fix where we're at. Like we've kind
of that core that we've built, you know that that
made the playoffs twice is aged out to some degree,
still have some pieces left.

Speaker 10 (57:49):
Even though these guys gots that Garrett word or getting
older Buttonio. Those guys are all getting older.

Speaker 14 (57:55):
And because we you know we forked over three first
round picks for to Shaun Watson, we don't have young
talent coming up on our roster. So now's the time
for us to start to get younger in as many
places as we possibly can.

Speaker 10 (58:08):
So you know, you you.

Speaker 14 (58:10):
You trade for Texon Campbell, who is under you know,
who's who's who's under contract for the next few years.
You go with the rookie quarterback and like I think
you look at their draft class this year guys, and
I I just you know, if we can put the
stores thing aside for a second, like I you know,
I think Mason Graham and Carson Schwssinger and Quinn Shawn

(58:31):
Judkins and Harold Finn and Dylan Sampson, like they they
hit on a bunch of guys and they've got two
first round picks next year. So I think that's that's
really the the context of the whole thing is like
you're moving off with Joe Flacko because Joe wasn't going
to play anymore this year for you for you, right,
and like a lot of the things that you're doing now.

Speaker 13 (58:51):
Are centered on how do we get younger?

Speaker 10 (58:54):
How do we invest in our young guys?

Speaker 14 (58:56):
And you know that's sort of where they are now
going forward, is is you know, like how like, yes,
we want to try to maximize what we have with
with Miles Garrett and Denzel Ward and those guys.

Speaker 10 (59:09):
But like, because we've got.

Speaker 14 (59:11):
This thing kind of we we we we've run it,
we've run the course with the with the core.

Speaker 10 (59:16):
That we have, we have to get a lot younger.
And that's happening. And I don't think.

Speaker 14 (59:21):
They're a quarterback for twenty twenty six is on the
roster right now, but they're going to get a look
at Dylan Gabriel and.

Speaker 10 (59:27):
See where that goes.

Speaker 14 (59:28):
And I wouldn't be shocked if at some point we
see de Sean Watson out.

Speaker 10 (59:31):
There, you know just what we might, Yeah, we might.

Speaker 14 (59:37):
I think that that cec LeVar and I keep doing.

Speaker 13 (59:40):
This is not a shot at Shador.

Speaker 14 (59:42):
I think that will depend on where she door is, right,
Like that will depend on developmentally, like and I think
he's worked hard, you know, but like that will depend
on developmentally, like where he is and if he's ready
for that, and you know, like at the end of
the summer, he wasn't ready to play to start an
NFL game, and like, so he's got to personally get there.

(01:00:05):
If he gets there, then I think, yes, they will
want to take a look at him by the end
of the year. But that's up to him, you know,
And so we'll see whether or not he makes it there.

Speaker 3 (01:00:15):
Abe, I got one last quick one for you. Perty
still isn't practicing, Mac Jones is gaining momental and popularity.
How does this all play out? I mean, obviously, the
contract is the contract for party. I guess it's simple
and easy to say he's going to get it when
he comes back, But you got to believe brock Purdy

(01:00:36):
will be under the gun when he gets back based
upon if mac Jones can continue to play out the
level he's playing.

Speaker 14 (01:00:45):
Rock party to the quarterback there, you know, and like
he's played really well the last.

Speaker 10 (01:00:50):
Couple of years. I don't know, like he necessarily has
gotten the credit.

Speaker 14 (01:00:54):
For playing as well as he has, you know, I know, yeah.

Speaker 13 (01:01:00):
I mean, like when you consider the circumstances, Brady.

Speaker 5 (01:01:03):
Man, I think I get that, but like at some point,
you know, you always have to consider the circumstances, right,
Like no one like no one really like cares about
in the end, right, I mean I.

Speaker 14 (01:01:14):
Think that.

Speaker 13 (01:01:16):
Like last year, all right, no Christian.

Speaker 14 (01:01:19):
McCaffrey, Deebo was out of shape, like Brandon, I you
cares of a c L.

Speaker 5 (01:01:24):
I mean, they just they It sounds like a lot
of normal football teams that deal with injuries.

Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Albert, did you just fat shame Deebo? Samuel? You can't
do that in today's culture.

Speaker 10 (01:01:35):
I know, I gotta be, I gotta be.

Speaker 9 (01:01:36):
I gotta be careful about what what I say in Washington.

Speaker 14 (01:01:40):
I mean, you guys are big, you guys are big
whistleblowers and that stuff, right, especially me on saming for
certain Yea, I see what you're saying, Brady like like that,
like you know, when you get paid that way that
you need to be able to you need to be
able to let people up around you. And that's definitely
part of the Mac has played well.

Speaker 10 (01:02:02):
I think Mac has a.

Speaker 14 (01:02:03):
Chance to become another one of these stories like a
Daniel Jones or a Sam Darnold or a Baker Mayfield.
And I think Baker's probably taken it to another level
now or Baker actually, I mean, Baker's playing like one
of the five or six best quarterbacks in all football now,
you know. But I think that that's sort of where
he's at. And you know, like that this has been
a great opportunity for Mac to you know, to to

(01:02:27):
to show the rest of football like that that that
that that that he can still play, you know, and ultimately,
I you know, I think it's going to be brock
Party's team.

Speaker 13 (01:02:36):
But you know, it definitely does put a put a
little like heat on.

Speaker 14 (01:02:39):
Him, even if it's not coming internally, like you know
that you got to keep playing at playing at a
very high level, and it does highlight I think the advantage.

Speaker 10 (01:02:48):
That Kyle Shanahan.

Speaker 14 (01:02:50):
Gives quarterbacks like that even when like and it's not
perfect for Mac now either. By the way, there's no
i Uk out there. You know Ricky Pierce, Saul, He's heart,
you know, quick.

Speaker 10 (01:03:02):
Kittles out of the lineup.

Speaker 14 (01:03:03):
So it's it's definitely not perfect for Mac either.

Speaker 13 (01:03:07):
You know, I think it.

Speaker 14 (01:03:08):
Does put that like little like subtle pressure on on
on Brock where it's where it's like Kyle Free is
a great situation for you know, it's quarterbacks almost regardless
of who that quarterback.

Speaker 10 (01:03:18):
Is, so you better take advantage of it.

Speaker 2 (01:03:20):
Uh Alberbrea with us year on Fox Sports Radio. Before
we get your thoughts on the big Game this weekend,
did want to commend you on the exclusive details you
gathered on the broadcasting switch in Indianapolis. Uh, A lot
of it. I don't know where you, I don't know
who your source is on that, but it felt like
some accurate reporting by you on uh on Brady, Yeah,

(01:03:42):
that was a tough one to dig into.

Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
I uh, I was.

Speaker 14 (01:03:46):
I was particularly proud on the the sprinter band detail.

Speaker 10 (01:03:49):
I thought that was a good one. I know you
guys enjoyed that too.

Speaker 4 (01:03:52):
It was good.

Speaker 6 (01:03:53):
I mean it helped that's for sure.

Speaker 13 (01:03:55):
It's riding in style.

Speaker 10 (01:03:56):
It's riding.

Speaker 5 (01:03:58):
I feel like it was like the Madmobile. Like I
was just watching film the entire time.

Speaker 6 (01:04:02):
It was great.

Speaker 4 (01:04:02):
Is that like the do you have that out?

Speaker 14 (01:04:04):
So, like you know Philip Rivers had one of those
when he was like Communitian from San Diego to La Like.

Speaker 5 (01:04:10):
Yeah, it was it was like plush, like a two seater.
I got too many kids. I know he has a
bunch too, but he had his, like so it was
set up so you just lay there and with all that,
I've got a bunch of like pilot seats and a
couple of benches and all that, so I could take
the kids and family everywhere. His looked like it was
just for football.

Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:04:28):
His had like his had like it was like almost
like a theater in there. It felt like where you
watch Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:04:33):
Yeah, I mean I've got series in there so I
can watch tape. But it's not it's it's not like
build up like a theater. No, it's more like it's
the real purpose for it was like for our family
and our kids, soccer tournaments, everything else, lacrosse and all that.

Speaker 6 (01:04:46):
So that was more of the uh got the rationale
and buy it.

Speaker 5 (01:04:49):
Just it just so happened that I've been able to
drive to a lot of games and it's helped. And
then obviously in this case, like it really helped being
able to sit and have someone else drive while you
can watch film for three hours at a pop and
really kind of digest some things.

Speaker 14 (01:05:03):
So work with your limits for like, like, all right,
so how far before.

Speaker 10 (01:05:08):
You before you're getting on a plane.

Speaker 14 (01:05:09):
Then are you like, are you going to Champagne this weekend?

Speaker 3 (01:05:12):
In it?

Speaker 5 (01:05:14):
Yes, I will every so basically anything that's like what
I look at is if I was to fly to Champagne,
it would take me six hours.

Speaker 6 (01:05:24):
Between driving to the airport waiting the flight.

Speaker 5 (01:05:27):
Yeah, you know, taking either a car or then taking
a commuting flight in. So it makes sense to drive
because you'll be able to beat that. So as long
as driving beats flying, I'll drive every time because I
can work more during that time.

Speaker 10 (01:05:39):
That makes sense.

Speaker 14 (01:05:40):
It's like taking the train in the Northeast then basically
exactly where exactly Yeah, okay, And by the way, you
just mentioned how many kids you have.

Speaker 5 (01:05:49):
I know he's got more, but I don't think they
could fit in the one I saw he's the daddy.

Speaker 13 (01:05:54):
No no, no, no no no no no.

Speaker 14 (01:05:55):
But but I'm just saying, like, and then you like
almost dismissed how many Philips has, Like you do not
have Philip beating that department, Like that's right, no, no,
but I don't.

Speaker 6 (01:06:03):
But but what I'm saying is his van didn't look
like it was outfit for his family. It looked like
it was just made.

Speaker 14 (01:06:10):
I actually did a story in that van, and like
that was like a it was it was a football.

Speaker 13 (01:06:14):
Yeah, it was like a.

Speaker 14 (01:06:16):
It was like a legitimate film room in that Vand
because it was like a he was going two hours
like every day commuting from San Diego to Orange County.

Speaker 6 (01:06:23):
Yeah, I remember that. I remember that.

Speaker 5 (01:06:25):
That's what I'm saying, Like it like this was not
the intent for the purpose of the van, like I'm
not scared of flying or something like that. It just
worked out this way with how some of the trips
and how our travels been.

Speaker 6 (01:06:36):
For Big Noon, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
Abe uh speaking a Big Noon, it's about that time.

Speaker 4 (01:06:42):
Do you know.

Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
That at the end of the festivities in Champagne this
Saturday that the Ohio State Buck Guys, your Ohio State
Buck guys will have beaten the fighting Ali and I
by more than fourteen points.

Speaker 6 (01:06:57):
Well you're not going, are you, Albert, because otherwise you
the bush. I'll be a little scared about this.

Speaker 9 (01:07:02):
I'm not what I said.

Speaker 6 (01:07:03):
You're not going to it, are you?

Speaker 14 (01:07:05):
I thought I thought, I I thought I I thought
I shed the label of being the mush because.

Speaker 6 (01:07:09):
Of Oh, just because you went to the National Championship game.

Speaker 10 (01:07:12):
No, no, no, no, no, I was in Texas.

Speaker 14 (01:07:17):
I'm on two game winning streak.

Speaker 6 (01:07:19):
Now, yeah, you were at Texas. That's right, you were
at Texas. I remember that. Yeah, sorry, I forgot. That's
all done.

Speaker 13 (01:07:27):
I think we cover lots of respect for Brett.

Speaker 14 (01:07:29):
BioMA in the program at Illinois. But I would say
this is let's go thirty one to ten.

Speaker 13 (01:07:36):
Does that sound good?

Speaker 14 (01:07:37):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:07:37):
Okay, that's a cover.

Speaker 6 (01:07:39):
That's a cover.

Speaker 10 (01:07:39):
All right, Let's go thirty one and ten.

Speaker 2 (01:07:42):
All right, So there we go. That's the Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:07:44):
I'm not going to say anything last time. By the way,
I picked in this game.

Speaker 5 (01:07:47):
Got a lot of flak from Illinois fans because I
picked a cover by by USC.

Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
But well, all right, so there he is. Albert Breer,
Senior NFL reporter.

Speaker 10 (01:07:58):
Is your second.

Speaker 5 (01:08:00):
Yeah, let me just make this announcement too. The state
of Indiana take some of your damn tax money and
put it into your infrastructure on your roads. Okay, it
is like riding horseback across the entire state of Indiana.

Speaker 6 (01:08:15):
All right, put some damn money in your roads, Indiana.
It's awful.

Speaker 5 (01:08:21):
You literally know, as soon as you leave the state
of Ohio and as soon as you enter Indiana, it
is like riding horseback.

Speaker 6 (01:08:29):
So awful.

Speaker 2 (01:08:30):
There's not a lot left when they're trying to they
spend it off protecting grease truck drivers. So brus right,
isn't that where Jesus.

Speaker 5 (01:08:42):
Is well, not in that part seventy West or seventy
I should say when you're going through Oh my goodness,
and every.

Speaker 6 (01:08:49):
Truck driver out there is driver right now knows it too,
because I.

Speaker 13 (01:08:52):
Was actually thinking about it.

Speaker 14 (01:08:53):
I was actually I was actually thinking about those roads
when when Flacco got traded, because I guess they sent
a driver.

Speaker 10 (01:08:59):
He didn't fly from from Cleveland Cincinnati, which makes sense.

Speaker 15 (01:09:01):
That makes sense too, because I don't think they're directed
right right right, But that also meant he probably drove
by the hell is real sign, which I believe is
seventy one Combus and Cincinnati.

Speaker 5 (01:09:12):
Right, that is correct, You got that right? The hell
is real sign is there? There's some other landmarks on

Speaker 16 (01:13:17):
All right, guys, come on, all right, So we got
NBA guys. So in case you missed it, Yannis Antoon
Tokompo has been in a lot of trade rumors, you know,
just for the past literally ever last couple of years.
So this one's new where Well, he's saying that I'm
locked into the team right now for the Milwaukee Bucks.

(01:13:38):
But he did say he revealed that his mind could
in fact change. He's gonna give them six or seven months,
and he feels if the team is not hitting that
direction by that point in time, he may start looking elsewhere.

Speaker 5 (01:13:53):
So what would we call this like the spring sweeps?
The spring Sweepsnow, I just.

Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
It's always something like there's just always something like nobody
nobody's ever happy. In the NBA, they're always is alway
about the next move. What's the next move? What's what
are they going to do? Is with the salary can tracks?
I'm just come on.

Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
Man, they got all the leverage, you know. I don't know.
I don't know what six months means. I just know
that Milwaukee is they they gone, they go. Well, you
got the Brewers, they had their they had their opportunity
and they had their moment in time.

Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
You got the Packers, Yeah, I mean they I'm.

Speaker 3 (01:14:41):
Just saying for the Bucks. They they were able to
bring a championship there. And Jan has had a great
run of being the m v P in the league
and has established himself as as a max contract guy.
So he's done everything he needs to do. But Milwaukee
they done. That's that's a rap on them being a

(01:15:02):
competitor of contender. It's a rap.

Speaker 4 (01:15:05):
All right.

Speaker 16 (01:15:06):
We got one more here for you guys. So we're
gonna stay in the NBA. So All Star Game do
we have to? I guess. So in case you missed it, guys,
the NBA will still not move the All Star Game
out of l a uh, you know, with the whole
because it's going to be in the Clippers stadium, not
the Lakers side.

Speaker 2 (01:15:24):
But with the whole Clipper.

Speaker 16 (01:15:26):
Investigation going on, they're not moving the All Star Game
out of l A. They're going to keep it there still.

Speaker 2 (01:15:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:15:31):
Wait wait, so they're dividing up for the All Star
Game the side of that arena.

Speaker 16 (01:15:35):
No, no, no, I'm saying the Clippers Stadium, the new
the new Clippers into it.

Speaker 3 (01:15:41):
It's better than crypto from what I hear.

Speaker 2 (01:15:45):
I mean, it's supposed to be the problem. Real nice.
I'm not a big fan of the You walk in
and there's facial recognition when you walk into a like
a mini mart inside the stadium, and you.

Speaker 6 (01:15:54):
Know, why don't you like that?

Speaker 3 (01:15:55):
It's just it's very invasive. What you're trying to hot, Yeah,
trying to nobody's database. You you, I mean, there were
no databases when you came to the Earth trying to
hide vampire.

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
Hey, why you're sweating me, bar. They're going to be like, wait,
sweat a couple years old.

Speaker 17 (01:16:18):
Find a warm man you find along, listen closely, U.

Speaker 3 (01:16:36):
Turn the man.

Speaker 4 (01:16:41):
Who there? It is?

Speaker 3 (01:16:44):
Camp Scataboo is a simple kind of man.

Speaker 6 (01:16:47):
Wow, all right?

Speaker 3 (01:16:49):
Simple?

Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
And by the way, the man Camp scatterboo up top,
Brady up top.

Speaker 3 (01:16:56):
Think that one, y'all. Don't get him.

Speaker 2 (01:17:00):

Speaker 3 (01:17:02):
He's light skin.

Speaker 9 (01:17:04):
We're back far.

Speaker 2 (01:17:05):
You can't stop us.

Speaker 4 (01:17:11):
Why I didn't say that?

Speaker 3 (01:17:14):
Who said? Why that was you?

Speaker 8 (01:17:17):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:17:18):
Yes? Why?

Speaker 3 (01:17:19):
Why?

Speaker 2 (01:17:22):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe? Here
on Fox Sports Radio, didn't.

Speaker 3 (01:17:27):
We claiming Q two?

Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:17:31):
You can't have any type of real reason? And we're
gonna say, no, I didn't.

Speaker 4 (01:17:36):
Come.

Speaker 2 (01:17:36):
Why man, you can't have Brady we got you can
go up top with Q. Now, come on, you can't
do too many Now we need no, no, we need
like an actual somebody we can rag about there stop. Yeah,
we gotta go way far back, not that far.

Speaker 5 (01:17:59):
My dad's name, Tyrone is Tyroad.

Speaker 3 (01:18:03):
It's there. I'm just telling yah.

Speaker 2 (01:18:07):
All right, Well, then you know, at the very least,
can we can like like give us Ryan Clark at
least if we're gonna do this trade like, let's do
it like we're gonna make this happen.

Speaker 3 (01:18:17):
That's where you're gonna do. That's what you go. That's
where you gotta go with this.

Speaker 2 (01:18:23):
By the way, here on Fox Sports Radio, we are

Speaker 18 (01:19:07):
Yeah, good job, bar Yeah, you are an inspiration to all.

Speaker 3 (01:19:11):
Yeah, I appreciate it. Five young men that are in
need of some real direction. And they're doing a fundraiser
and I'm going to go speak to the children. They're
going to do some skits and stuff like that, and yeah,
it's good stuff. You know, you know I love the kids.
You know you gotta get back.

Speaker 6 (01:19:31):
So yeah, well, well don't take that too far.

Speaker 3 (01:19:36):
Oh you want to see, you're one of us. I'm
telling you you one of us, Brady, you one of us.
They should have named you Tyrone Quinn. That's what they
should have did. Tyrone. Middle name should have been Jerome.

Speaker 2 (01:19:58):
W were you were you guys, Levarn Did you bring
this up?

Speaker 4 (01:20:06):
So?

Speaker 2 (01:20:06):
Is it true? Dylan Gabriel was almost named after Brady?
Is that? Is that a true? Wow?

Speaker 3 (01:20:11):
That's a true story.

Speaker 2 (01:20:12):
That's sweet.

Speaker 3 (01:20:13):
They named all their kids after football people that they
really really like, really were big fans of and they're
a big fan of Brady Quinn and almost named Dylan Brady.
That's awesome, man, it's a true story. That's gotta be
a dope feeling. Man on God, it's got to be
a dope feeling. I've had and dogs named after me.

(01:20:36):
Any cats never heard of him?

Speaker 5 (01:20:40):
See when someone comes up, they're going in my cat
after you, I'm like, thanks.

Speaker 3 (01:20:46):
I will say kind of. I don't want to be
disrespectful to to the family. There is a family that
kid LeVar Keys. He's actually a five star, four star
receiver that plays at his name. He's going to Penn
State next year. Hell yeah, there, you disrespect him. So

(01:21:07):
hopefully if he becomes like a super superstar and all
American and makes all these big plays like we'll have
this conversation a few years later and be like, yeah, man,
you know, but no, not to take it off a queue.
I think that's pretty cool day, right, Get come on,
let's do the FRI.

Speaker 1 (01:21:28):
Five lines, not those kind of lines. Five picks, five spreads.
Time for picks against the spread.

Speaker 2 (01:21:37):
Man, I love spreading them. Ian Roddy, what are we
what are we looking at from last week?

Speaker 18 (01:21:42):
Here are uh starting with Actually, let's let's update last
week's scores Week five.

Speaker 2 (01:21:50):
Jonas. Unfortunately you went one.

Speaker 9 (01:21:51):
And four LeVar.

Speaker 6 (01:21:53):
That's classic Jonas.

Speaker 2 (01:21:54):
Yeah, yeah, LeVar, four and three. Brady, you went foreign two.
Didn't I do that the week before?

Speaker 4 (01:22:01):
Two?

Speaker 3 (01:22:02):
Or no?

Speaker 6 (01:22:02):
Yeah, Jonas, you're not good at this.

Speaker 2 (01:22:04):
You went three and two the week now, three and
two the week before? Correct? Oh yeah, we talked about
this earlier this week. Yeah, one and four.

Speaker 3 (01:22:11):
But this was a curious That was a curious week.
Though this past week there was some there were some
curious games. But you know, we'll do better this week,
just like see and I mean on a down we
were still over five hundred.

Speaker 6 (01:22:23):
Just so you know, by the way, just to me
as far as you and me not you.

Speaker 2 (01:22:27):
And just to clear this up for people listening, just
for people, just for people to understand this that are listening.
If you're wondering, how, Hey you guys picked five games. Hey,
you guys picked five games. Why Why does Brady have
a four and two and LaVar are four and three? Well, yeah,
it's easy because they they nickel and diamond and go
money line to get extra credit points. They're the kiss

(01:22:50):
asses in class at one extra credit.

Speaker 5 (01:22:52):
But ian we also lose too if we lose it,
So we basically doubled the value of a money line pick.

Speaker 2 (01:23:00):
By the way, I don't.

Speaker 6 (01:23:02):
By the way, Jonas, what.

Speaker 5 (01:23:04):
Are you talking about. I did all the accounting. I
did all the accounting. Trust me, everything's up to date.
It was not when it was not when Lee was
doing it. I can promise you that there's some fuzzy man,
but it's it's good to go now. The issue is
because of this, and Jonas is staunch in not wanting
to pick ever a money line, we now have to

(01:23:26):
go basically off.

Speaker 3 (01:23:27):
When he did it the one time you were out
he paniced and did it?

Speaker 2 (01:23:30):
You know, Oh did he Yes?

Speaker 13 (01:23:32):
You did?

Speaker 3 (01:23:33):
Yes, back to the picks, Yes you did. Brady was
off and you did a money line. Pick. I was
in state college when you did it. I remember when
you did it. Yes, you did. You participated, and once
you participate, you cannot use the reasoning that you're using.
You you were not resistant to it. You did it,
not good at it. So now you want to.

Speaker 6 (01:23:55):
Did do it? He did do it.

Speaker 5 (01:23:57):
He took He took the Chiefs money line in Week
two when the Eagles went to Kansas City, that's.

Speaker 6 (01:24:02):
When he did it.

Speaker 2 (01:24:02):
Yes, now there you go.

Speaker 6 (01:24:05):
I mean, are you sack of.

Speaker 4 (01:24:08):
Just do it?

Speaker 2 (01:24:09):
Who cares?

Speaker 4 (01:24:10):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:24:10):
If you if if you guys really want me to
go there, because I don't think you want that smoke.
If I start going money line, it's over.

Speaker 3 (01:24:20):
Okay, that's already started going money line.

Speaker 2 (01:24:24):
That's like giving a grizzly baronoozy. You don't want that.
That's bad.

Speaker 3 (01:24:29):
I don't think they can shoot it. But all right, let's.

Speaker 6 (01:24:32):
Let's let's get the bigs.

Speaker 9 (01:24:34):
Yeah, all right, Week one, Broncos Jets.

Speaker 6 (01:24:38):
What do you got, Joe?

Speaker 4 (01:24:38):
Know what I meant?

Speaker 2 (01:24:40):
What's the line on this ian? What are we looking
at here?

Speaker 18 (01:24:43):
Yeah, Broncos are favored by seven and a half, seven
and a half points here.

Speaker 2 (01:24:46):
This is the London game. By the way, keep that
in mind. I'll take the Jets getting seven and a
half neutral site, Denver's feeling themselves.

Speaker 3 (01:24:55):
I'll take the Jets.

Speaker 9 (01:24:57):
Knocks Loucks.

Speaker 2 (01:25:01):
LaVar, Oh, take Denver to cover.

Speaker 9 (01:25:05):
It sticks picks.

Speaker 2 (01:25:08):
What do you think?

Speaker 6 (01:25:08):
There's a big number for me.

Speaker 5 (01:25:12):
And it's like, I don't know, man, I'm not sure
what to think of the Jets. They just have not
been good. I think this Denver team is underrated. But
I hate I hate a seven and a half line.

Speaker 3 (01:25:25):
I don't like it either, But the way the points.

Speaker 6 (01:25:28):
On Denver, I don't feel good about it.

Speaker 9 (01:25:32):
Whens wins.

Speaker 2 (01:25:34):
Thanks just been so bad.

Speaker 3 (01:25:36):
They've just been so bad, all right?

Speaker 9 (01:25:42):
Next matchup Seahawks and Jaguars.

Speaker 18 (01:25:45):
The Seahawks are favored by a point and a half,
though Jacksonville is the home team.

Speaker 2 (01:25:49):
What do you guys think it going.

Speaker 6 (01:25:50):
To make sense?

Speaker 2 (01:25:51):
It does?

Speaker 4 (01:25:53):
It does?

Speaker 3 (01:25:54):
Money line in Jacksonville.

Speaker 2 (01:25:55):
I'm taking Seattle. If somebody knows something knocks, Yes, that.

Speaker 6 (01:26:01):
Doesn't make any sense to me. Line.

Speaker 2 (01:26:10):
Hell yeah, it's a one and a half point spread.
We can't get extra credit points for that?

Speaker 3 (01:26:16):
Why not.

Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
Do I just I took I took Seattle minus. I
I it's a point. There's got there's gotta be out spy.
There's got to be a line in the sand where
you can't do money lining.

Speaker 3 (01:26:33):
It's called you're it's called you're the underdog.

Speaker 2 (01:26:36):
Why that's the line?

Speaker 3 (01:26:37):
And that's the line in the sand, Jonas, they're the underdog.

Speaker 5 (01:26:42):
I'm taking line doesn't make any sense. I'm laying the
point a half with Seattle.

Speaker 6 (01:26:47):
Here.

Speaker 3 (01:26:49):
How about that when this morning with Brady's pick again,
do it again?

Speaker 10 (01:27:00):
Do it.

Speaker 6 (01:27:02):
Twins?

Speaker 3 (01:27:02):
When it really is good? I mean when, by the
way that was that's a flattering dip.

Speaker 2 (01:27:07):
But by the way that was live, do it live?

Speaker 5 (01:27:13):
Alright, let's get to the forty nine ers said Buccaneers.

Speaker 18 (01:27:20):
Buccaneers are the home team, they're favored by three points.
Exactly what do you guys think?

Speaker 6 (01:27:25):
Is it Mac or Purty?

Speaker 4 (01:27:26):
This week?

Speaker 6 (01:27:26):
It's Mac Jones?

Speaker 4 (01:27:27):
Right, Mac, it is Mac.

Speaker 2 (01:27:33):
I'm gonna take Tampa Bay.

Speaker 9 (01:27:36):
Knocks locks, Var.

Speaker 11 (01:27:42):
I'm gonna take Tampa Bay stick what up?

Speaker 3 (01:27:46):
Sticks?

Speaker 5 (01:27:48):
Yeah right, I'm gonna take Tampa Bay too.

Speaker 2 (01:27:57):
Twins when.

Speaker 3 (01:28:01):
So much longer than that? Wait, wait, hold on, pause,
I didn't mean it that way.

Speaker 6 (01:28:06):
Next, it's dropped so much.

Speaker 2 (01:28:09):
It always is so much more time. I just got that,
all right, Next matchup.

Speaker 9 (01:28:17):
Lions and Chiefs.

Speaker 18 (01:28:19):
All right, Chiefs are at Arrowheads, so they're the home
team and they're actually favored over the Red hoigh Lions.
Right now, Chiefs are favored by two and a half points.

Speaker 2 (01:28:28):
What do you think, Jonas, I'm gonna take Kansas City,
take Cancas knocks looks Detroit. Everyone's all man Detroit.

Speaker 4 (01:28:35):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:28:35):
They don't need coordinators. They got this whole thing figured out.
They've played a bucket of vomit so far. That's their wins.
When they play good teams, they lose like Green Bay.
It's gonna happen again this weekend. I got Casey.

Speaker 3 (01:28:50):
Money line.

Speaker 9 (01:28:53):
Sticks picks on who.

Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
Yeah, let's go Detroit.

Speaker 3 (01:28:56):
What do you mean on who? Detroit? Stand up Detroit? Baby?

Speaker 6 (01:29:07):
But I don't know, go.

Speaker 3 (01:29:10):
With the bag of vomit.

Speaker 6 (01:29:12):
Now, I'm gonna go with Casey. I'm laying a two
and a half here.

Speaker 9 (01:29:17):
Twins wins.

Speaker 2 (01:29:19):
Detroit really played nobody.

Speaker 3 (01:29:20):
I'm really I'm really going to take a very very
nice commanding league or I'm going to go down S's Creek.
This is my this is the week. It's going to
go one way or the other. It's all good though.
I'm willing to take the risk. I feel confident, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:29:42):
Final Final matchup.

Speaker 9 (01:29:44):
Bears in Commanders.

Speaker 18 (01:29:46):
Remember this is the Monday night game. There's a Monday
night doubleheader. This is the second of the two. Commanders
are favored by four and a half points.

Speaker 2 (01:29:54):
What do you think, Jonas? This is tough for me, man,
This is real tough because I'm like looking at the
matt Chefs and the splits and all that stuff, and
I'm like, ess Us, I'll take the Bears knocks locks.

Speaker 6 (01:30:14):
Why do you take a money line?

Speaker 2 (01:30:17):
Have you seen the Bears?

Speaker 3 (01:30:19):
I mean, if you're taking them on the point.

Speaker 2 (01:30:21):
Talk, I'll give you the four points, please be.

Speaker 3 (01:30:26):
So they're still going to lose, Yeah, more than four.
I totally disagree with you. Not only are the Beers
going to lose, they're going to lose by more than four.
Give me the almost.

Speaker 2 (01:30:39):

gonna say, give me the command give me the Commanders.
They'll cover the sticks picks. Almost said skins, though almost,
I'm not. I'm just saying, gosh, I hate staying that

I'm just saying, Bears coming out, Bears coming off of
bye week, getting there, getting a lot of guys back
healthy on defense. Jayden Daniels, not one hundred.

Speaker 3 (01:31:21):
You know what does that mean? Just like letting you
know we've already made our picks. Like if you change it,
are you trying to convince yourself that you're you're correct?

Speaker 2 (01:31:31):
I'm good with my picks. I feel five and oh.

Speaker 3 (01:31:34):
I think the Bears had their opportunity of beating them
last year and they blew it this year. Not so
much they got they lose by more than four. Okay,
that happens. You made your pick, if.

Speaker 2 (01:31:49):

could take it? We are going to all right, you
guys are out of control.
