to you and yours all, right, enjoy curious ookey, oh no,
curious See what kind of a surprises we've got in store?

Speaker 5 (01:41):
One surprise was Disney and ABC not on YouTube TV.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
So just saw that.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Another one of those.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
Huh, another one of those And couldn't come in a
worse time given everything coming up tonight tomorrow in college football.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Turned the heart Rock into a horror house last night.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
Damn horror or or.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Horror.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
More horror than before, more horror than before. Yeah, boy,
the Dolphins are bad. Oh boy, Now you.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Weren't saying that after they beat Atlanta though, No, a't
saying that.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
And now I know why Baltimore was a seven and
a half point favorite on a short week on the road.
Now I get it. I think my apologies. I want
to apologize. Now it makes perfect sense because that was terrible.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I hate I mean, I never called for anybody's job,
but I just guess that's where I'm at, like mentally,
and emotionally right now. And I was sitting there, I
was like, Man, is he going to make it through
the night? Are they are they? Are they going to
announce sometime during the evening that that they let him go?

Speaker 2 (02:55):
And are they letting to it go right along? They
let to it go right along with him?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I be hell, who else add to the list? It
was like a blank list, fill in the blank. You
can't even be wrong. It didn't look good at all,
That's what I would say. I mean, we could go
into the details. I'm sure Q could break down the
details of what you saw, but well, I.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
Mean it look, they're they're banged up at running back.
We saw that Devon a Chang has to kind of
carry the load for them, which is not the worst
thing in the world. Everyone deals with injuries, but it's
not the best thing.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
I would say. There was a play on the fourth
and two before the end of the first half.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
What was that That play kind of epitomized what their
season has become, what they go for it.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Yes, well it's not even that's not on the same page.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
And this is something where I just kind of look
at the decision by Tua and I go that's just
not a matchup.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
You're gonna work.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
You've got Devon a Chain working against Kyle Hamilton and
a Chan who you know is a running back. He
stands at five foot nine. Kyle Hamilton's like six foot four,
six foot five, and he's actually a really good coverage player,
like he is on Baltimore and he's in that position
playing Manda man coverage with an all out blitz. So

(04:19):
it's going to force to it to throw the football
and Tua kind of lobs it to the end zone
and Devon h Chang just kind of doesn't really run
the route, but the ball should be going in there anyway,
Like this isn't like we're out in the open field
and you give him the chance to run for fifty
or sixty yards because of his speed and he outruns Hamilton.

(04:40):
You're you're too close. There's the back of the end
zone there, like none of that plays to your advantage.
And you could see Mike McDaniel's reaction like, oh yeah,
like that's.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Where you went with the ball.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
So it is truly his facial expression after because he
knew its like of all the places you're going with
the football, couldn't avoid it.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
Like, that's not that's not how the plays designed. That's
not where we designed to throw the football in this situation.
And I just that's summarizes their season so far. Like
it's it's a combination of they get things going, they
get down there, they probably could have taken three points
that in the at the end, it wouldn't matter, not
the way Baltimore played in second half. But it's it's

(05:23):
those decisions combined with just the matchups kind of who's there.
It just none of it works out, and to is
as culpable as anyone else, even though I do think
he's a good system fit for Mike McDaniel. I mean,
you watch the rhythm they get in at times, how
they move the ball, and you're like, man, this works.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
They were moving the ball. It's just there's something missing, man,
Because there's something missing with all this. They stink. There
was a there was a game a couple of years ago.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
It was a Thursday night game when Zach Wilson was
still with the Jets, and it took one play and
the crowd completely turned like, oh.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Here we go again.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
It was have been like the smallest play and incomplete
pass or whatever, and I'm watching that. I think it
was against the Jaguars, and I'm watching that going all
this team's got no shot, not that they had one
coming into the game, but the vibe of the crowd,
the energy of the crowd, every mistake, they're.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Just like, oh my god, what else do we need
to say? Yeah, worse than the second half, just like
the are cutting out a holes and popcorn. It's like
it was just it was getting all out bad.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
The missfield goal.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
You know, they're going forward on on fourth and one
and there's a procedure penalty and they come back and
and to see and then Mike McDaniel is like, I
don't know that I've ever seen him that visibly upset.
And when you get a guy like that, who you know,
walks around dressed up as a pothead even when it's

(06:51):
not Halloween hips and it looks too and you see
the emotions and just sort of the despair. It's like,
all right, he's feeling it too. He knows this thing's
coming to an end. And it just feels like that's
that crowd in the second half when it was just
looking around going what is this?

Speaker 3 (07:10):
What are we watching here? But on the other side
of it. You get Lamar Jackson back, you see the
difference in the team when Lamar Jackson is back. This
was a win that they needed to get. They now
keep pace and are in position to kind of make
a move on on that odds favorite to win the

(07:31):
AFC North. They're a different team, I mean, captain obvious,
they're a different team with Lamar Jackson on the field,
and I think it makes it better for them, But
it ultimately says to me, we still don't know. We
don't know if Lamar Jackson in this Baltimore Ravens team

(07:51):
with that defense, because they did that defense was not
a very different defense. I'll say this, I don't know
if it was more Miami. They couldn't finish off drives.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
I mean the.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
The turnover, but wasn't there a turno that wasn't a turnover?
They missed a field goal or was it a turnover?

Speaker 4 (08:09):
If there's anything happen in an NFL game, it happened
for the Dollars.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
I mean, I just didn't I just couldn't understand how
they could move the ball down the field so easily
and then just their drives continue to die at the
end and they kept putting it.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
They missed the field goal. That was the first one.
The first quarter.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
They missed one the first drive. I felt like they
turned it over on the first drive. But I'm a
little there's the second one. It was the second one.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Yeah, I just it's like crapping your pants for the
two hundred time. At what point are you like you
remember that one time?

Speaker 2 (08:41):
No?

Speaker 3 (08:41):
No, yeah, just kind of all blends together. That's what
that game was.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Did you you still do it to this day? Huh no,
I'm over. It's at least how long?

Speaker 3 (08:49):
How long until you stopped having accidents in your pads? Honestly? Like,
be honest, is.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
This why you don't need food? Is this why you
try to do the whole intermittent fast?

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Don't try, don't try to jog around the answer, like
when's the last time you talk.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
About your pants all the time? Much answer the question.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
And we ended up landing a depends rey for for Q.
It's good because with you what bro, they told me
they asked you to do it and you avoided it.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
I have not And I want to go on record
because I'm a professional. I think this is worth talking about.
I have not crapped my pants since wearing you'll pull
up definitely in the last year.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Okay, I mean that's that's safe. Yeah, definitely. What does
vampire s look like anyway? Is it the same as
is people s?

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Yeah? I mean is it like crap? Is it right?
Is it like little little balls? Or yeah?

Speaker 4 (09:46):
Blood remnants of skin?

Speaker 3 (09:51):
You went down the wrong road, but you asked the
question moving on, you want to just make it.

Speaker 7 (09:58):
I mean, yeah, right, that's what you're eating.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
You're using that as fuel. Why would you crap it out?

Speaker 2 (10:06):
You got to get rid of the waist, but there's
no more.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
I'm not going to do it. But Loraina does it
to me at least once a show. I'm not going
to do that. You you set her up no moment.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Surprised you want to go down the show because you've
got a weak stomach, I do and a real game.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
It's ridiculous, ridiculous, So I'm surprised you want to go down.
I'm surprised you went down that rope.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
Well, I'm just saying it's everything that could have gone
wrong and the fact that it all played out last night, like.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Do you want to hear tua? Do you want to
hear Tua post why not.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Here's a here's Tua talking about the reaction and the
vibe of the locker room post game.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
We had a pretty heartfelt conversation in there after after
the game. After that that conversation, you know, I feel
like guys are.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Going to go away, They're going to do what they
need to do.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
But when we come back on Monday, you know, we're.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Ready to work. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
He sounds like more like a coach than a player.
He's got like that coaching twain to to his voice,
like he should be a head football coach versus being
a quarterback. I don't know, he just, you know, like
certain coaches, like you know, they had that you gotta
have that that southern type of Twain.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
You know what I mean, Like it'll sound like a coach. Yeah,
he sounds like a coach.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
I like Tua, and it's sad that they're in the
situation that they're in because it looks so promising for
for a moment there. I mean, Mike McDaniel, he he
kind of evolved. He went from being like the kid
in the principal's office to like the kid that's driving
down ocean and a Ferrari and everybody's looking at.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Him, and he's now the cool kid.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
I mean, everything worked out the way it was supposed
to for a time, just doesn't say just doesn't seem
right anymore.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
I don't I don't want this to go too far.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
But remember during COVID, when there's you can get those
ppp you know, loans and all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Out during that time, you know what happened. There's some
people out there where you'd see a young kid driving
around this like ridiculously flashy, caring. You're like, what the
hell did he get the money for that?

Speaker 5 (12:20):
And then you realize the kid got arrested because he
basically put in some sort of fraudulent ppp uh, you know,
paperwork to get alone from the government.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
And it's kind of looks like that, you know, it's
kind of it's kind of like, all right, well this was.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
Fun, but didn't Josh Bellamy do that? Didn't he get
popped for that? The former NFL.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
People did a lot to not point out NFL players
because there's so many people who were not NFL players
that did it Jonas, So let's just not victimize the
NFL players.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Who did it.

Speaker 5 (12:53):
To Vegas are the only the only example you give
is an NFL player.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
That's really countless people.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
That check was coming out. There were lines. Big Baby
Davis did it.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
I think there, Yeah he did. He did time off
of it. There were only professional athletes. There's a trend.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
There were the longest lines outside of like the Gucci
stores and Louis stores, and people was getting burking bags
and all kinds of stuff, like like in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
It was crazy.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
But don't worry. They wiped them down with sanitizer after
they and they was letting them come in there and
spend that money to knowing where that money was coming from.
Is their money. Yeah, you turn it down, their money.
They got to pay it back and take this bag missing.
We'll get it back some way, somehow, we'll get it back.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
It's all one it's all one circle. It just keeps
going around down.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
And that was the Miami Dolphins going around in the bad.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
So what I'm saying, it was like and they finally
are like, oh wait a second, this guy, he shouldn't
be getting this money.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
Do you believe that Mike McDaniels, Mike McDaniel last the
year or do.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
You think if he has another do they have any
more you know.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
In two weeks, well well not primetime, but in two
weeks they play Madrid.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
I believe that is a standalone game. Who did I play?

Speaker 2 (14:22):
I have to go back to this schedule.

Speaker 5 (14:24):
Talked about this yesterday, but Commanders, we talked about there
we go, go go cute.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
No.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
I was just gonna say we kind of touched on
this yesterday.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
It's a really tough, you know, schedule, the rest away
or not should say the rest away.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
But they're they're, you.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
Know, next so many games. It ain't gonna be easy.
And and so that's where I kind of just go.
If it continues to look really poor offensively, like that's
the thing about the you know, they play Atlanta, they
have this offensive explosure going all right, like at least
that's still there last night. I mean, the Even's defense
is struggled, and then just between the fumbles, the turnover

(15:04):
on downs, just the miscommunication with stuff, a missfield goal,
nothing could go right. And I think if you start
seeing the offense even struggle to get some points, and
that's Mike McDaniel's calling card, then I think it maybe
goes in a different direction and it would be shocked
if it wasn't after that game in Madrid, because there's
I believe, a bye afterwards, so you have additional time.

(15:27):
You've got the opportunity to prepare for a really poor
Saints team than a Jets team that's in the division
that's bad. It kind of just sets up for whoever's
next to give you a little bit of hope.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
I mean, plus you get one last trip to Spain
paid for by the team, and then you get clipped.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
You made an interesting observation and it was Jonas Jonas
Jonas shocking.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Interesting, not in a.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Great way, but you know this time you kind of
you know, the sunshine on a blind dog's Yeah, so
you said it was visible on on the coach's face,
on Mike McDaniel's face. And you know, just going through
what I just seen take place at Penn State, you know,
maybe the worst thing that he could have done is

(16:16):
not have a poker face on the sideline, like because
if you got sometimes everybody else you want to know
what the kiss of death is is when the coach
is visibly shook, when their shape shaken up. It's it's
you gotta believe that the decision makers are looking at it,

(16:38):
like the leader of the team is visibly on the
sideline shook up. If he's in I didn't see his
postgame interview, but if he's in his postgame interview and
he just looks as though he shook up, like Bro
I was with coach Coach Franklin. I interviewed him the
week before the the UCLA game, and it was just

(17:05):
I felt bad, Like he just looked like it was
starting to take a toll on him, like the pressure.
And and sure enough that next game against UCLA, the
players look the same exact way. And so when people
sit there and they say, oh, well they shouldn't have

(17:26):
did anything, or da da dae, like what like Bro,
I was there. I was on that sideline. And while
I'll be the first one to always advocate and speak
highly of coach Franklin, it's more so to me, if
you're asking my estimation on it, it's more so the
fact that him, as the leader of that team, was

(17:50):
visibly shook up by what was taking place, and the
team followed suit right along with them. So you're watched
dudes walk off the field, Dudes got their hands on
their hips like like perplexed looks it was like you
felt like something really bad was going on. Like the

(18:13):
energy and the vibe was really really the morale was low.
And I feel like I saw that on the sideline
with Mike last night.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
That is the kiss of depth.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
If you ask me, you want to know what puts
the target on you, the bullseye for management to take
action on removing you is when you look like you've
you're visibly almost defeated or defeated. I've never seen him
that upset. It looked bad, bro, It looked bad, like like, Okay,
it's a bad pass, you miss, you miss field goals,

(18:46):
you miss bad plays or bad plays happen. It's it's
a part of the game. You you buck up, you
you regroup, and you get back at it. But when
you look like the way that he looked, ultimately, that
energy is what's circulating through those players. It's circulating through
that locker room, through those meeting rooms, through the other coaches.

(19:08):
Like it looked like looks of desperation, disappointment, maybe maybe
giving up. You know, I don't want to say quitting,
but man, like, hey, can it get any worse than this?
You know, like when you feel like you've hit rock Bottom.
Can can it get any worse than this? I don't know, man,
That to me, that could be the observation that really

(19:31):
really is the kiss of death for him and his
coaching tenure at Miami.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Yeah. Not great, not at all.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
It's not great. But that also depends depends on multiple things.
But let me tell you something about Depending. The Prostate
Cancer Foundation there to remind you that helped us a
long game, and screening for prostate cancer is easier than ever.
Simple blood tests can lead to better treatment options and
better outcomes.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Learn more at depend dot com. By the way, things
are bigger than football, man. Yeah, make sure you get
your booty checked out. Man, honestly, that's right. It spread
those cheeks, yeah, spread them on. Make sure you can
keep spreading them, you know, because if you don't get
them spread it for one time, then something else going
to creep up, and then you don't want that.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
You don't want to get that tip drill Go ahead, man.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Good point, go ahead. Yeah, that is a that was
a really really good music video.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
By the way, I.

Speaker 5 (20:22):
Was just telling this story last night. I don't know
how we got on this story, but so it was
my sophomore year of college.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
I want to say, maybe.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
Junior and my TV parents came up or bt bro,
my parents came up, and I think like they they
got me a hotel room, which yeah, we got they
got a hotel for themselves and got me a hotel room.
And so like that Saturday night after the game, I'm like,
I wake up and the TV's on and it's playing that.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
I believe it was Nelly, right, So.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Yeah, but you could only play it after dark.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
And I'll say the lyrics, I believe I can say
this at this hour and I can say this, but
I believe it was something along the lines of it
must be your ass because it ain't your face, I
need a tip drill. Yeah you could do that. Interesting,
but that's what they said that that was the lyrics.
And I never heard the song.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
Before, you know what, And it was probably the video
truth was wild.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Like I was looking at the ass in that video.
It was like it was soft core porn. It was.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
It was literally it was wild for b E. T.
Young cut well and that was I was like, it
was cut. Are they allowed to do this on like
cable television at this hour?

Speaker 2 (21:38):
Now everybody does it now? Now it's right, But that
was some years ago.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Yeah yeah, oh yeah, man, that was tip.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Drills, b us because it ain't your face, and he
was right, and it's okay. I couldn't go back to sleep.
I was sitting there. I was like, man, this is wild.
Am I missing out on tip drills? Like what's happening
right now? Your ass out does your face? That is?

Speaker 3 (22:02):
That's an ass and you got to give that ass respect.
That's all right, it's all right. Many dudes will tell
you if your face is average, but you got a
banging body, you're gonna get You're gonna get away with it.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
You just can't have both be jacked up.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
If your if your botty, if your body's jacked up
and your face is jacked up, like me, like me,
I deal with that. If you if you jacked up
that way, you had better have a great personality and
you have better hope that people are okay with getting
to know you before they have to judgement.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
If yours, your ass better be getting than a plus.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
You know, raise like most kids today don't even know
what a tip trill is.

Speaker 5 (22:40):
You know, it's it's a damn shame. Dang you use
that vernacular. Well, what's the cringe. You were saying, that's cringe.
Like these kids don't even know what a tip trill is?

Speaker 3 (22:52):
WHOA Okay, then, well I do know this. You know
about the hollerino. It's a football Friday, all right, okay,
turn it on.

Speaker 8 (23:00):
There you go, Friday, tip drill, come a drill, barn,
tip drink, tip drill.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Start Friday's tip drill Friday, start tip drill Friday.

Speaker 8 (23:20):
Somebody was watching the game and the strip.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
There's no one the tip drill, the tip drill, the
tip drill.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
What tip drill for rill? Wat tip drill for rill.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Tip drill, timper day, tip drill, tipper home, clamm it.
Keep A's name out your f and mouth tight.

Speaker 4 (24:02):

Speaker 6 (24:58):
I'm going to win. It's Quinn's all right.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Quick recap of Week nine in college football. Let me
tell you something.

Speaker 5 (25:05):
I got some teams that really aren't trying to help
me out here, all right? Iowa State collapses versus BYU
bet throws a pick six, another interception the fourth that
one doesn't cover. Apparently Minnesota decided not to show up.
I would just kick their ass. Can these West Coast
teams play on the East Coast. I don't know, don't
ask UCLA. They sure can't show up and do it.

(25:28):
And what about my guy Alex Golish in USF up
thirty one seventeen into the fourth and they collapse, giving
up seventeen points to.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Lose thirty one thirty four. Yeah, so two and.

Speaker 5 (25:41):
Four last week, rough week twenty one, twenty nine to
two on the season.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
You know what that means? More bets?

Speaker 5 (25:48):
All right, there's only one way to get out of
a hole, and that's uh, well, it's you can't you.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Can't keep digging.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
No, you actually try to find a way of just
churning butter and getting up out of this thing.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
It starts off in the big ten. I use headed
out to Maryland.

Speaker 5 (26:02):
Who anyone who's been listening to this knows they are
my cover team of the season. They're five to two
against the spread this year. And here's an interesting little
note about Indiana. Indiana is why I played two games
on the road this season, barely beating Iowa, if you'll
recall that game was tight till the very end of it,
and then obviously a great win over Oregon.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
The best win of the season.

Speaker 5 (26:22):
But they're averaging only twenty five points per game on
the road. They're averaging over fifty at home, and also defensively,
they're giving up over twice as many points on the road.
So I think Maryland at plus twenty one at our
good friends at DraftKings keeps this one within the number.
Better team than people are giving Maryland credit. But I

(26:43):
still think I you obviously wins. Indiana wins this one,
but I do think Maryland gets the cover. So take
the points. Next up, you will see headed to Link
and the take on the newly extended Matt Rule.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
And the corn Huskers. But I'm laying the points here, folks.

Speaker 5 (26:58):
You will see minus four and a half coming off
the buy too much power, too much talent on the outside.
I don't think this one's even going to be close.
Next up in the SEC, we just talked about him,
Clark Lee and Vandy. They head to Austin take on Texas.
There's some uncertainty about whether or not Arch plays in
this game. Whether he does or doesn't, it's been a
gauntlet for Vandy.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
To get through.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
They lost to Bama a few weeks ago, had their
big wins over LSU and then Missou at home. Now
they go back on the road to Austin. I think
that Texas defense keeps Pavia in check. You lay the
three points with Texas there, and I also think Arch
probably ends up playing this game even not, I think
Texas is going to be able to run the football
and take care of business. Next up the U, They're

(27:40):
headed to Dallas to take on SMU head coach RT Lashley.
For SMU a former m assistant, and he's going to
know a thing or two about what he's going up against.
And this is an SMU team that can get after
it with their pass rushers. The problem they're going up
against one of the best offensive lines in the country
in Miami, and SMU is actually the worst defense in

(28:00):
the ACC, given up over three hundred yards per game.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
I think Carson Beck has a field.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
Day and that pass rush for Miami gets after SMU
lay the ten and a half points with the Hurricanes.
Next up a battle in the AAC. One of the
most fun teams to watch. If you have not watched
North Texas find a way. This offense is so much fun.
It's the number one scoring.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Offense in North Texas in the AAC.

Speaker 5 (28:26):
They can absolutely put up points, and they put up
a lot of yards through the air. Their quarterback, Drew
Messtamaker one of the best stories in college football. I
don't think you can started varsity his senior year. He's
a converted athlete into becoming a quarterback. Through over six
hundred yards last week. Navy, well, they're the twelfth best
pass defense in the AAC. They're gonna have some matchup issues.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Lay the seven points with North Texas next up. I
used to call it the biggest cocktail party Georgia, Florida
in Jacksonville.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
I think they did away with that for some reason.
But the play on this one's actually not one on
the spread. It's actually on the under of fifteen and
a half. Two good defenses. I think it's gonna be
a lowest scoring affair between these two, both them allowing
twenty or few points per game. So take the under
of fifteen and a half there in Jacksonville, and next

(29:17):
up Notre Dame laying twenty eight and a half, headed
to Boston to take on bc. BC stinks. It's a
rivalry game. Notre Dame is going to continue to impress.
Just lay the points all right, just lay the points
in this one. Next up in the ACC CAL they're
hosting Uva, who has been playing with fire the past
four games, all one score games. Uva just kind of

(29:38):
hanging on to that chance of playing in the ACC
championship game. I think Cal justin will Coxy a more
of a defensive mind. I think they keep this one
close again, East Coast team going all the way west.
Col's getting five and a half. Here go with Cal
the five and a half points. I think another tight
game for UVA and dare I call the ups that outright?

(30:01):
And then finally the big one, Ohio State hosting Penn State.
Penn State obviously a shell of itself. Look, this Ohio
State team has been really really good against the spread
this year. There's six and one. I also love a
low scoring game here. I think if you look at
what Penn State's done the past couple of weeks, trying
to run the football against Northwestern Iowa, probably limiting the
amount of touches this Ohio State offense gets. But the

(30:22):
spread is nineteen and a half. Sorry Vart, you gotta
lay the nineteen and a half points here. I just
think Penn State's gonna have a hard time scoring versus
Ohio State, and I think Ohio State's gonna make enough
big plays to cover that number.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
So they're your picks for week ten.

Speaker 7 (30:39):
Whens, Whens.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
They're welcome to I guess I can open up my Saturday.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
Then I go sit on the beach.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
Well, you're not coming to the game. I mean that
kind of gives us some indication of this.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
You know, that's not why I'm not coming though. Oh
that's not what come saying.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
I did.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
I did want to, and I almost did, but I
just need to stay in this.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
This weekend it was twenty one, so there was twenty
one and a half. It's gone down to nineteen and
a half.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
So I wonder why that is.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
A little more optimism there for for Penn State.

Speaker 5 (31:18):
Maybe maybe, Yeah, there's a there's always a lot of
line movement between like Thursday night and Friday morning. You
know that that Indiana Maryland spread that maybe moved half
a point, USC Nebraska moved a point and a half,
ut Vany moved half a point.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
I'm trying to think of some others I do respect
and like the approach. You know, last week didn't go well,
f it double it up and.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
This, well, do you ever play craps? It's kind of
a betting intensive game. Man. You get down, you just
gotta gotta keep betting more.

Speaker 5 (31:50):
It's just the we're doing volume here, though not not necessarily,
you know, dollar amount putting volume.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
And this feels like this is the week that will
determine whether or not this is a a season in
the win column or maybe not for Quinn's wins. This
feels like this is a real typical.

Speaker 5 (32:05):
Oh, we got some others. I mean I may bet
every single game coming by my week. You know, by
week twelve of college football.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
That Indiana Maryland game is going to be a fun
game to watch. You're gonna learn a lot about what
type of team Maryland is. I think LOCKX does an
amazing job and they love their quarterback.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
Yeah. Defensively, I always felt like butt Zone two was,
you know, if you could disguise it right.

Speaker 5 (32:33):
Maryland does too defensively. I was watching some of their game,
some of their game tape, like earlier this week, with
the shell of it. If you can disguise pre snap
it always will get quarterbacks, in particular because you're always
trapping too, you know, so you get those quick throws
because you feel the pressure. And then you've got a
corner who's just sitting kind of waiting, watching, baiting you
to throw into that. And I don't know, it would

(32:55):
be interesting to see how how I you if IU
runs the football.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
That's where you know, I think Marylyn can have some issues.
You can't.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
You got to stop the run for some mendoza and
then try to take your chances that way.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
I think it's going to be a fun weekend like
this is that Rubber meets the Row weekend of slate,
slate of games. I mean, we're going to obviously have
rivalry weekends coming up pretty soon as well. But I
just think that's some some teams this weekend there their
seasons are going to be defined one way or the
other this week When do you think Hawaii you might

(33:31):
make it into Quinn's wins for the first time ever?

Speaker 2 (33:34):
It may come down to the last resort. I put
it that way.

Speaker 5 (33:37):
I trusting, I'm not I'm not avoiding them because I
don't want to pick them. I'm avoiding them because I
don't want because I don't want you to have to
talk about Hawaii blah blah blah.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
I mean I just no one cares. No one cares
about your Hawaii rainbow.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
Wards Tokyo to Huh, we can say Matsuyama. I believe
I pronounced the last name correct. Might have butchered that one,
but uh yeah, he probably did. Yeah, he guy has
missed kick.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
You want me to talk about field You want me
to talk about field goal kicking?

Speaker 4 (34:05):
I mean I would say the quarterback there, but he's
you know, there's there's been some issues there.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
But they're in for the Mountain West.

Speaker 5 (34:16):
They got absolutely their doors blown off by Arizona earlier
this year. I remember that they're their Their best one
was the win over Stanford, which, mind you, it's tough
watching those Stanford games because they keep showing Andrew Luck
on the sideline as the general manager. And last week
there it was seven seven versus Miami and then Miami
just beat the crap out of them, and I just

(34:38):
keep going like, ah, maybe you don't show him quite
as much, you know, like this isn't this isn't where
they'll be and give him like three or four years,
they'll be in a better spot. You know, that's the
But also, why is he gonna lose this week?

Speaker 6 (34:50):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Well, probably not the Santase, probably not to San Jose State,
but they'll they'll lose. They'll for sure lose at UNLV.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
And I don't know, Ken, I want to correct myself there,
Matsuzawa one more time.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
I'm sorry, Ken, say Matsuzawa the tokyo.

Speaker 4 (35:07):
Yeah, his celebration after he makes a kick is the
Otani swing. I'm telling you, man, keep an eye out
for Hawaii and our friends.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
Uh listening on.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
By the way, LeVar, did you notice how Jonas likes
to bring up my my college record. He didn't say
anything about the NFL where he's you know, he's sub
five hundred.

Speaker 4 (35:27):
Hey, I'm supportive. I don't kick a man when he's down.
I support you. I actually, what do you mean? I
actually bet a lot of the game's Brady picks. I
support my friends.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific.

Speaker 6 (35:49):
Five lines, not those kind of lines, five picks, five spreads.
Time for picks against the spread.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
All right, Bursch, how bad are these guys? Last week?
How bad? Was our record.

Speaker 10 (36:03):
Well, everybody did poorly last week. Jonas, you went one
and four, LeVar, Brady, you went too and four. A
couple of games you guys were unanimous on that didn't
go your way. Everybody was on the Cowboys plus three
and a half against the Broncos that that did not happen.
And everyone was on the Commanders plus twelve and a

(36:24):
half against the Chiefs and that did not happen.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
So that's too bad rough week.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
That's okay, that happens. Wait, so, Bursch, how's Jonas doing
for the year. Bursch, Well, overall.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
Jonas is twenty and twenty two.

Speaker 6 (36:39):
Knox locks.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
LeVar.

Speaker 10 (36:43):
LeVar is twenty eight and twenty five. I'm still about
five hundred, yeah, and Brady is thirty two and fifteen.

Speaker 6 (36:53):
Quinn swear you'll be a winner.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
That's a lot.

Speaker 10 (36:57):
Yeah, it's a six eighty one win percon. She's very strong,
she said, ye whoa.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
Well there, the nickel and dime money line approach is
paying off dividends.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
All right, let's see how we're doing this.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
Just better, pick better. Stop being a looser. Yeah, just
pick better, bro.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
All right, let's get to our first matchup.

Speaker 6 (37:22):
This week, Viking said Lions.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
That's right.

Speaker 10 (37:25):
Uh, the Lions are favored minus eight and a half
at home here, Jonas will start with you.

Speaker 4 (37:33):
I'll take the Lions. JJ McCarthy's back. Uh, not that
you know. Well, look but he hasn't he hasn't played
a lot, and so there's health, there's rust. I just
I feel like Detroit's kind of on a little bit
of a heater here, and so I'll take I'll take
the Lions here the knocks locks What is it again, burs?

Speaker 3 (37:56):
It's an eight and a half, the Lion's favorite eight
and a half, eight and a half. Where are they
playing in Detroit?

Speaker 2 (38:02):
In Detroit?

Speaker 3 (38:05):
I'm gonna take Vikings on the points as it did you.
Is there over on this or something? Or are we
are we just going to picks? I forget, I'm mixing
them up here. It's picks against the spread. Yeah, so
I'm taking Yeah, I'm taking the Vikings.

Speaker 6 (38:20):
A minute, it sticks picks all right?

Speaker 2 (38:26):
Number looks too big to me. Maybe they're factoring in.

Speaker 5 (38:29):
JJ McCarthy first start a little concerned divisional game with
that number being as big as it is. But it's
making me lean towards Detroit. So I'm gonna lay the
points with Detroit.

Speaker 7 (38:42):
When's Whens?

Speaker 3 (38:44):
What is that a dropper?

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Lorendo? Okang, do it live baby, We'll do it.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
Wow, We'll do a laugh.

Speaker 10 (38:52):
Okay, all right, Next one here, coltsit Steelers. Colts are
the road favorites here minus the three, Bolt's favored by three.
Brady will start with you.

Speaker 5 (39:06):
The defense has struggled for Pittsburgh. Too tough place to play, though,
I don't know the Colts a dome team an into
our team. I'm gonna take the three points in Pittsburgh.
I know they've struggled defensively. Offensively, though, I think we'll
be able to make enough plays to cover this number.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
So I'll take the three points in pitt.

Speaker 10 (39:28):
Twins wins, LaVar, how you feel it going.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
I'm going to money line the Steelers sticks picks. I'll
take Pittsburgh plus three.

Speaker 4 (39:45):
I think Mike Tomlin and Tara Austin have basically called
out the defense for the final time. The problem there
has not been anything on the offensive side of the
ball for the first time in a long time. Everything's
been about the defense. I think they rally, I think
they respon. I think They're probably still gonna lose this game,
just not by more than two and a half.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
Knocks locks, all right, next one up.

Speaker 6 (40:11):
Here, Falcons hit Patriots.

Speaker 10 (40:16):
Patriots favored at home minus five and a half. LeVar
will start with you, Patriots favored minus five and a
half at home.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
I'm gonna take the points with with the Falcons sticks picks, Brady,
how are you feeling.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
I'm feeling like New England is a team that var
has underestimated the entire season. Didn't didn't think they would
finish well right now, They're one of the top teams
in the f C. Drake May is playing an MVP level.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
Quick question though, can you can you win the MVP
if you're not throwing for over three hundred yards? It's
kind of an interesting stat.

Speaker 5 (40:55):
But I believe I'm gonna lay the five and a
half points with the Patriots here at.

Speaker 4 (41:00):
Home, all right, Jonas, I'm gonna take Atlanta plus five
and a half. I see this as a potential bounce
back spot. They can't possibly be as bad as they
were against Miami last week, and I'm gonna work under
the assumption that Michael Pennix Junior will be back in
the starting lineup for them. So I'm gonna take the

(41:22):
Falcons getting the.

Speaker 6 (41:23):
Five and a half knocks locks.

Speaker 10 (41:28):
All right, Game four, Chiefs said Bills. Yes, well we're
doing that one too, So yes, Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (41:39):
Oh wait, it's this one.

Speaker 6 (41:41):
Broncos at Texas.

Speaker 10 (41:43):
There, let's see Broncos at Texans. We'll save the Chiefs
Bills for last. Texans favored minus one and a half
at home. Jonas, we'll start with you.

Speaker 3 (41:53):
I'll take Houston. I think they're going to go two
in a row here.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
I'm not completely sold on the Denver Broncos, like a
lot of people are, but I think Houston is gonna
uh for some reason. I liked them last week against
the Niners. I couldn't even pick a reason why. And
I'm gonna go the same route this week, and I
believe the line is the same one and a half.

Speaker 3 (42:12):
I'll take the Texans at home.

Speaker 6 (42:14):
Knocks.

Speaker 2 (42:15):
What is it again?

Speaker 10 (42:17):
It is a Texans minus one and a half at
home against who against the Broncos.

Speaker 3 (42:23):
The Texans, I don't understand how they're favored it in
this game at home. I'm obviously I still don't see
how they're favored it. I'm going money line with this
one as well.

Speaker 6 (42:34):
Yeah, half points, give them the money line?

Speaker 2 (42:39):
So what at some it's a one and a half?

Speaker 3 (42:42):
What are you complaining about it?

Speaker 2 (42:44):
Then you do it? Right? What are you complaining?

Speaker 3 (42:45):
What you complaining about it?

Speaker 2 (42:47):
Extra?

Speaker 6 (42:47):
Why?

Speaker 1 (42:48):
Why?

Speaker 2 (42:49):
Why should you get why?

Speaker 6 (42:52):
Why?

Speaker 2 (42:53):
It's a one and a half point spread? Okay, they're
they're an underdog, right.

Speaker 6 (42:56):
And you do it?

Speaker 2 (42:57):
Then stop picking Houston.

Speaker 3 (42:59):
You're you're saying we're sub five hundred to whole underdog?

Speaker 2 (43:06):
Yes or no?

Speaker 4 (43:07):
You're getting an extra point for a one and a
half point underdog?

Speaker 2 (43:11):
Are they the underdog?

Speaker 3 (43:12):
Jonas?

Speaker 4 (43:13):
All right, Well, when you guys are ready to take
the training wheels off, let me know.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
We'll go right. Yeah, yeah, we'll go together, and you'll
still be a loser.

Speaker 5 (43:21):
I also go Denver money line here, mostly because Jonas
is being a whiny bitch.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
There you go, you little whyo bissy day Jonas. It's
not like it's only a one way street. Yeah. I'm
not some candy ass gambler. I get the real just
a terrible gambler.

Speaker 3 (43:41):
All right, Well, let's see what happens with this last one.

Speaker 7 (43:44):
Hit the button again, Lorena Chief, said Bill.

Speaker 10 (43:46):
Well, then guess what. This is a one and a
half point spread as well. Chiefs are favored on the
road at minus one and a half in Buffalo.

Speaker 5 (43:54):
I'm gonna start this off. Give me Buffalo money line.
Take that, Jonas another one and a half points spread.

Speaker 7 (44:02):
Twins wins, Yeah, LeVar, you can.

Speaker 3 (44:11):
I'm going to take the Chiefs to cover man sticks
picks I'm trying to get. I'm trying to climb back
into this thing a brush.

Speaker 4 (44:19):
I'm a real sports better, all right, not like these
phonies and frauds that I work with.

Speaker 3 (44:24):
I'm a real sports better. Give me the bills on
the money line.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
Lost.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
There you go, give me.

Speaker 2 (44:31):
That extra credit.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
Finally decided to join the party. Huh all right, good
for you, all right now because of that?

Speaker 2 (44:38):
Yeah yeah, probably Yeah, that's some death sentence for them now,
thanks Jonas Tang. Well, there you go. Jonas has picked
the money line before you mine.

Speaker 3 (44:51):
The Bears had the money line before. Yeah, didn't work
out for him, or maybe it did that ever since no,
he lost he lost it.

Speaker 2 (44:59):
That was an I'll find it.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
I was misquoted.

Speaker 2 (45:02):
Okay, Well, there you go.

Speaker 4 (45:03):
Because remember some of the accounting was a little off
early in.

Speaker 2 (45:08):
The it wasn't off. It wasn't off. It was just
the way Lee did it.

Speaker 4 (45:14):
Yikes, all right, it is two pros and a cup
of joe here on said so LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jones.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
The money line the Chiefs over the Eagles in week
to week two.

Speaker 3 (45:29):
It was a one naf point spread in that game as.

Speaker 5 (45:31):
Well, same exact spread that right now also spreads really
get you. He also lost that one along with you, LeVar,
