Speaker 2 (01:35):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Morning, Yeah, great intro.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Yeesh rip it right right from the start, man banging it.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
Man started ripping, ripping in a riding, clanging and banging,
clanking and banging.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
We got to volume three of the College Football Playoff
Rankings release last year, Brady Quinn, anything jump out to
you or is this more? Things are going to change
over the next couple of weeks and then we wait
and see what the final result is as well.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
For all you fussy Miami Hurricanes fans. It feels like
their committee is starting to respect what the Hurricanes have done.
They're inching closer. The gap has, you know, basically short between.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Miami Notre Dame.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
So my guess is at the end of the season,
head to head play will come into play. If both
Miami and Notre Dame finished for the tennancy record, and
this is assuming Miami doesn't make the AEC Championship game,
which they are on the outside looking in, that they
will leap frog Notre Dame, then they'll both probably still
make the College Wall playoff. But the interesting thing about

(02:45):
that would be it might be Georgia Tech and UVA
playing for it. That's the most likely scenario. There's a
number of teams that are still in the mix. SMU
very much still in the mix. In fact, I think
based on the scenario that I saw UVA, who I
believe plays next week, that's the that's really the big

(03:06):
weekend that matters the most. But if like three separate
teams lose, So if for example, PITT loses this week,
which they could versus Georgia Tech, if Duke loses as well,
and then one other I think SMU, then UV would
automatically be in the a SC.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Championship game, so rather unlikely, but could happen.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
And then Georgia teches has to be pitt and they're
basically in the a SC Championship game. So the reason
why I bring this up is because those teams are
behind Miami. I believe last time I looked, and the
uh they would have, you'd think they'd leap frog at
the end, but the ACC would would be hoping they
get two in which you know, again Big twelve ACC,

(03:49):
They're all they're all biding for playoff spots at this point.
With the SEC, who has nine ranked teams inside the
top twenty five, Big ten, s six and then so
on and so forth. But SE's gonna have a lot
of two lost teams that feel like they deserve a
shot to be in the playoff. And that is the
concern for every other conference aside from the SEC, is

(04:11):
that that strength of schedule, when you have ninety teams
ranked in the top twenty five, those teams are playing
a lot more ranked games, and the committee gives them
the benefit of the.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Doubt, how all right, and and listen, and.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
In technical terms, them playing those ranked games make a
lot of sense because they're bigger schools, they're you know,
they're part of the SEC. I just wonder, and my
question becomes in that logic, are you missing a team

(04:47):
that's deserving of being in the playoff based upon what
their circumstances as a program are. Like, it's easy to
say you should be playing against bigger opponent, but if
you're a smaller school, you don't really know, you know
what you don't know going into things, right, you may
have a really good team and your team is doing

(05:10):
what it was supposed to do or doing something that's extraordinary,
and they're having this amazing run, and yet it's still
not good enough because oh, well, this two loss team
over here, they played a harder schedule, you.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Know, and like that's a hard one that found a second.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
So the one team that I believe is not being
respected for what they've done so far this year is
James Madison. James Madison, they play Washington State, I believe,
this weekend, and then they finished versus Coastal Carolina. They're
most likely going to be a twelve to one conference

(05:48):
champion at the group of sixth level, right, there'll be
a group of six level conference champion winning the Sun
Belt at twelve to one. They're not even ranked right now,
which last time I checked, unless they moved him in
at the you know last night towards the back end, No,
they're not. And if you look at the extended rankings,
which with the viewers don't always get this, but they're

(06:11):
far enough back where I don't even know if they
beat Washington State this week, if they'll finally jump into
twenty five. So that's an example of a team that
could potentially be representing the group of six, which are
smaller schools and and you know, smaller conferences, but instead
they like Tulane Tulane B Duke Duke has that outside

(06:33):
shot of being an ACC champ, but at least a
decent ACC team. There's just there's other smaller schools that
they like in that spot. So that's an example of
what you're talking about. The reality is this, and we
watched it last year. When you look at the big
ten in the SEC, it does feel like there's a
gap there whtween from those you know, two conferences to

(06:53):
the big twelve ACC.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
And if people want to argue that it's.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Fine, I mean, you have your teams like Texas Tech,
who looks to be one of those teams that that
can contend. But I don't know about Utah. I don't
know about some of these others. I know Arizona State
they played Texas tough.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
That's great. They stawt a lot, losing at the end.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
But like SMU, that was an awful showing last year
versus Penn State bad bad and and and if we're
being real, you know, Penn State probably looked at that game.
I was like, all right, yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean,
it's it's not a it's not a matchup that you
saw and you go, man, Now, if I said Penn

(07:31):
State's playing Old Miss.

Speaker 6 (07:34):
Different challenges the year before, prior to the adopting out,
it was a different circumstance. But still, I mean, yeah, yeah,
I think people would have been nervous to see an
Old Miss.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
You know, I hate using I hate using the explanation
of well, Vegas the betting lines, because because then people
would just say, well, then why did they play.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
The games in the first place.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
If you're always going to use who's going to be
favored using Vegas betting lines, then what's the point of
playing the games anyway? And I understand that, but there
is a really unequal playing field for some schools, especially
smaller schools that don't play as many conference games, that
don't play as many tough schedules. I mean, James Madison

(08:18):
lost to Louisville by fourteen, So if you really take
into account like where that sets up, I mean, Louisville
is a good ACC team, They're not a team that's
going to be playing for their conference championship. They can
play spoiler at best. So the committee's have been tasked
with putting the best twelve teams in the country together
to play off for the national championship.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
And I think using the eye.

Speaker 5 (08:41):
Test, as much as we hate it, there's also some
times where you go, yeah, I get that, like some
teams are playing much better at the end of the season,
and they look to be one of those twelve best teams,
and we'd like to see them playoff at the end
of the season.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Two.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
By the way, Miami is a three to one underdog
to make the College Football Playoff right now, So they're
sitting at a plus three hundred undraftkings.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
So you've been after they have left uh efforting?

Speaker 4 (09:12):
Yeah, because they have pit they have Pitt in two
weeks and then they've got We've got this week.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
So I mean, I know, I know Notre Dame they're
at von Tech this week.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
Vote that's right, Yeah, I mean they they they should
win those games, right, So if they do win those games,
I mean, how does that that?

Speaker 3 (09:37):
I don't know, should that bode well for them?

Speaker 4 (09:40):
Yeah? Yeah, I mean I've said this all along.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
I do think they head to head to all come
into play at some point, especially if they're playing good football.
And you also have a couple of common opponents that
both Miami and Notre Dame played. You know, Miami played
NC State, they played at home, as did Notre Dame.
They played them at home, and you know, Miami beat
n C State forty one to seven. It's a much
bigger margin than what Notre Dame beat NC State by.

(10:04):
So when you start comparing some of those things NC
State Notre Dame, you know, thirty six to seven, so
not quite as much. But if you watch that game,
I mean, it was a it was a one score
game a half for Notre Dame. It was a much
tighter game than the score looks like at the end.
And then you know, you look at the pick game,
you'll have that game to compare against one another, so
there are some comparables. I do think if Notre Dame

(10:26):
played Miami today, they would beat them. You know, after
you you know, it was the opening game of the season,
on the road, freshman quarterback, first start, the whole thing.
I think Notre Name is a different team now they've
proven that, But you still have to give Miami the
benefit of doubt. They won that game when they played.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
I hate seeing so many three loss teams, But I
will say, on the flip side of it, when when
you look at it logically, I want to see tougher
games earlier in the season. I want to see tougher
games through about the season, and if you're risking three
losses based upon taking those those tougher matchups, which I

(11:10):
think have made college football super entertaining. I think this
season has has been one of the best seasons, you know,
in college football history, just based upon to me, the
excitement of the amount of teams and the amount of
time that they have had to be eligible to make

(11:34):
this college playoff.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Yeah, so you can hear the excitement. I can hear
how excited you.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Are about it. I'm pretty excited about it.

Speaker 6 (11:40):
Excite Well, listen, we were a part of it last
year and so and you know, all roads led to
us being in the same state, same city, same place.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yes, they ended up having the same.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
One of the greatest moments I've ever witnessed of one
LeVar Arrington.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Yeah, some people would say battled third verse, not like this, right.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
All I know is I walked through the doors and
I see a man, yeah, almost accosting another man to
get up off the couch because you can't sleep there.
And as this man rose up, it almost looked like
a gigantic t rex looking for his next prayer.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
And he started to shuffle left.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Right, left, right, left right, and you could hear it.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Yeah, but did you see did you see the chain
on that bad boy?

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Though?

Speaker 5 (12:35):
Yeah, he was wearing a chain. But as he shuffled
over left, right, left right, the docs he saw his prey,
that one Jonas knocks and I ate him up.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Yes he did.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
By the way, do you see somebody from the committee?
I forget who it was. I saw this last night
on Twitter or x.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
They said that Oregon is still getting credit for the
Penn State win, even though Penn State is falling off
because they're they're factoring in where they were at.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
In that moment.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Even though Penn State I think won their first game
you know, last week since that.

Speaker 5 (13:19):
Yeah, but again to their point, their starting quarterback, it was,
you know, James frankl was the head coach. The entire
thing was was different than what it is now. Like
that's understandable. Yeah, that's understandable. It's no different than looking
at teams who were battling through an injury at a
certain point. You know, I think when you take that
into account, you have to look at some of that,

(13:40):
you know what that was that team playing with their starter,
their backup quarterback, where some of their top players out.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
All that stuff.

Speaker 6 (13:46):
Matters, but it does it does hurt. It does not
help your cause when a team knows daves like that.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
So it just is what it is now.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
You mentioned Ole Miss earlier go far. So there is
a story that we discussed about the ultimatum that was
put out there. Reportedly, there was this ultimatum they told
Lane Kiffin, did old Miss Brass, Hey, you got to
the Egg Bowl, make a decision. We want to know
whether or not you're going to be here, whether or
not You're going to take some job elsewhere. So Lane

(14:20):
Kiffin was on the Pat McAfee show yesterday starring aj Hawk,
and he addressed the rumors that there was an ultimatum
put on him by.

Speaker 7 (14:29):
All miss That's absolutely not true. There's been no ultimating
anything like that at all. And so I don't know
where that came from. Like a lot of stuff that
comes out there. Like I said, man, we're having a blast.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
I love it here.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
So d hold on, hold on, hold on. Yeah, we
cut that short. He had the running back Lacey in.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
The room with him.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
He's like a running backs right here with me. He
calls me, He's like, come on over. He calls him
over into the shot and they're like both said there
kind of talking and hang out. He must have been
just meeting with him, So it's kind of a wild scenario,
just you know what exactly had going on at that
point in time of the day. But he's he feels
like a very open and honest guy about what's happening now.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
ESPN reported that their athletic director Keith Carter, has asked
for a decision by this upcoming weekend, so not the
egg Bowl weekend, which would be the following weekend, but
this upcoming weekend. So it feels like there's mixed messages
that have come out to where he's saying there was
no ultimatum, but ESPN's reporting there has been an ultimatum,

(15:30):
and it seems like they're looking for answers here as
quick as possible.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
So, well, it's not like that came out of nowhere, right.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
Did somebody just like want to make up a rumor
that there was an ultimatum given or a timeline given?

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Is that how?

Speaker 4 (15:43):
I mean, it's not how it really works. People don't
make up stuff. I've heard it from somewhere, and.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
By the way, I don't there's not a knock on
old miss. I can understand their thought, like, hey man,
we want to know whether or not you're you're here
for the long term or not. I just look at
it and I go, well, this kind of sucks for
the players there because they're in contention to maybe win
a national championship. They're in the college football playoff as
the stands right now, they've got a game left in

(16:08):
the regular season, they're in their bye week, and instead
you know, resting up and getting ready for you know,
the finale and to go on and do big things.
They've got to wonder whether or not their coach is
going to be around by this weekend.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Well, think about it this way too.

Speaker 6 (16:25):
You know all these other coaches that were in demand,
what happened they were given extensions like maybe maybe my
man laying Kippin is sitting there like hey man, like yeah,
I acted like y'all want to know what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
I'm under contract.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
Well, I think I think there's one in place, but
that wouldn't be announced until he makes a decision if
he's staying or not he stays, Okay, Yeah. I think
what's interesting about this because there might be a job
or two that comes open. There's some people speculating Florida

(17:07):
State where they come open at the end of the season.
That would add to that list. To me, it's about
is Elaine potentially being patient because he's looking at the NFL.
You know, people tend to forget he he did have
a short stint he did with the Raiders a time ago.
It was extremely short. He made it through one season,

(17:28):
then four games I think the next before it was fired.
And you do have some some jobs open that I
think whether it's Tennessee, whether it's the New York Giants,
that there might be some teams that are interested in
and maybe giving him another shot. He's had a lot
of head coaching experience between the Raiders back into what
two thousand and seven, two thousand and eight that you know,

(17:49):
Tennessee granted only for a year, USC Florida Atlantic, Old Miss.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
I mean, he's a different.

Speaker 5 (17:54):
Guy, and maybe there's an opportunity or someone some people
are talking to him there, you know, telling him about
what he thinks. You know, maybe there's an opportunity to
be patient and wait for some of these NFL jobs,
and he's able to do that by continually to be patient,
let the season play itself out. You know, to your point,

(18:14):
he's got a chance to play for the College wall playoffs.
They're almost assuredly going to be in. They play Mississippi
State next week in the eight Bowl, and even if
they don't make the SEC championship game, which it doesn't
appear they're going to, they would still get in with
their current resume. So they're going to be a playoff team.
They're gonna have a chance to play for a national championship.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
There's no reason to maybe.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
Rush this outside of if you're Old Miss, because they've
got to potentially go find a new head coach and
that might have been something that didn't dawn on them,
you know, coming into the season, and now is drastically changed.
But I do wonder how or if the NFL angle
on things is playing any role whatsoever. And him waiting,

(18:54):
and this isn't just about him his family and him
deciding between LSU Florida and Old Miss. This is more
really about him potentially looking at trying to get to
the next level. Maybe he's a coach that saying I
don't want to have to deal with the NIL stuff
anymore and all that, I'd rather just go to the pros.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, and his former quarterback sitting up there in New
York looking for a head coach this offseason.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
So there you go.

Speaker 6 (19:16):
I would Old Miss really do if they if they
self imposed, uh you know, a due date for him
to make a decision.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
What are you going to do?

Speaker 2 (19:26):
They can fire them, what are you going to do?

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Like, I'm not ready to make a decision yet.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
You're fired, Okay, you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Yeah, I don't see I don't see it playing out
that way.

Speaker 5 (19:39):
So even then it's it's like it's like you know
you it's one of those threats that you know there's
there's nothing behind it, right.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
I mean, it's almost like when.

Speaker 5 (19:47):
You're a parent you've got kids and you like you
threaten the kid looks at you, well yeah, but they're
like they're not. It doesn't work anymore because the problem
is they know they're at a certain place where like
you can't really discipline on them if you want to,
and they know it, so like they kind of look
at you and and Jonah's is gonna get there at
some point, and I don't know that your son's there
quite yet. Your kids will get to an age where

(20:11):
they become very aware of the safe zones of where
they can be, where they can be disciplined, and where
they can't.

Speaker 6 (20:16):
I mean, var tell them, oh, man, look my three
two ones used to be three two, wouldn't even make
it the one. Then they get a little older, then
it's like three.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
Two. Then they get a little older, then it's like
three three two. I said too, one and a half.
I said, I said too, you get the one.

Speaker 6 (20:54):
And they were still coming now to day with the
last one at ten years old It's it's it's really
just like if if my voice inflection isn't like for real,
for real, like for some strange reason, his voice sounds
like he is really really upset, then you know she doesn't.

(21:16):
It doesn't. It doesn't work. That's the point. At some point,
you know, the whole then you get you better get
over here type type talk that it doesn't work.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
It doesn't work.

Speaker 6 (21:28):
So ultimatums nah, it just seems like that's that's empty
calories for old miss right now, you know, because they're
they're sitting there.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Like three three.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
By the way, I also feel like it's it's for
like relationships that aren't gonna last, like if old missus
Gami lank if an ultimatum now and they don't think
that this is gonna come up in the future.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
It's a great point.

Speaker 5 (21:53):
That's just like if you hear a couple you know,
you're talking to him, they're like, oh, yeah, he gave
me an ultimatum.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
It's like, yes, it's probably gonna work out, Like, well,
let's be real.

Speaker 6 (22:01):
It's just that whole point, like can't guys just jump
on top of extensions now, like if they really wanted
to there's a coach that a school really wanted an extension.
I mean, are you are you legally off the off
the table for how long?

Speaker 2 (22:20):
Like?

Speaker 6 (22:20):
Is there an extending amount of time or come back?
There's always going to be a buyout, right, yeah?

Speaker 5 (22:27):
Well correct, But if you look at the James Franklin situation,
James Franklin had to actively be searching for another job
and then technically not get it if he was going
to get the full payout from Penn State. So that's
why the settlement only ended up being nine million because
of what he was offered. Is now the head coach
of Virginia Tech YEP. So if you Craft, like Pat Craft,

(22:50):
did the contract right, you can mitigate some of what
you're going to be, you know, putting out there now.
If you're someone like he date.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
The contract, I think that might have been Sandy Barrow.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
It might have been before him or someone but either way,
oh yet credit for it. Now if you look at
Louisiana a different story. You know, Brian Kelly's coming for
all fifty four million, every single dollar, and I'm not
sure if he's gonna get hired or not. I think
I think, I do think Brian Kelly is a good coach.
I know it did not work out at LSU and

(23:24):
maybe he had a ceiling both at LSU and Notre Dame.
But I do think he's proven he can coach at
smaller schools and be able to get the most out
of it. But maybe he doesn't want to anymore, at
least it sounds like it from some of the reports
of what was.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
What do you mean him and his family is done winning?

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Well?

Speaker 5 (23:42):
Yeah, I mean a lot of things going on there,
but a lot of a lot of fine wide and
golfing going on.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Okay, Well, it is two pros and a cup of
Joe here on Fox Sports Radio. We know that, and
we also know that at Home Depot. Makita tools at
the Home Depot are built with precision, without shortcuts, designed
for the toughest job, just the choice for pros when
the job calls for the best colin Mkida built to
be the best available at the home Depot. How pros
get more done. So we will have the usuals coming
up later on. We've got another edition of in case

sure you check out Over Promised and also Uncensored by

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Fox Sports Radio, Levi Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with
you here. We're gonna have another edition of In case
you missed it coming up here in about fifteen minutes
from now. But right now it is time for the
tire rack play of the day.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
Great store opportunity.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
You tell them a little Luca Magic, a lot of
Luca Magic.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
There, Lakers TV from Spectrum Sportsnet on the call.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
That's your tire ract play the day.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
For over forty years, Tirerack's been helping customers find the
right tires for how, what and where they drive. Shipped
fast and freedback by free Road, has protection with convenient
installation options like mobile tire installation. Tire rack dot Com
the way tire buying should be.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
So, hey, can I make an announcement?

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Please do? Here we go?

Speaker 5 (26:35):
Okay, because I noticed something yesterday and I'm hoping this
is true, but they announced that Southwest is going to
end the wheelchair first boarding after quote years of abuse
where some flights saw one hundred plus requests. And I

(26:58):
gotta be honest with you, man, I've flown that airline
a decent amount and it is absurd what some of
you dirt bags are doing out there, Okay, trying to
make a case just so you can cheap out and
board first that you need to be wheelchair ridden. I mean,
it's either one of two things. Either you guys are

(27:20):
some dirt bags, or God's working in mysterious ways, and
somewhere somewhere thirty to forty thousand feet up in the air,
maybe close to Heaven, you're getting touched and you somehow
find the ability to walk after I watched you in
this parade of wheelchairs get onto a plane and then

(27:40):
miraculously find the ability to walk as you deeplane and
get off.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
Maybe it's maybe it's the peanuts that they throw at
you at the pretzels. Maybe it's the coffee on Southwest.
I'm not sure what it is.

Speaker 4 (27:53):
There's some alick, sir, that fixes your ability to walk.

Speaker 5 (27:57):
But this has been a long time coming, and I'm
I'm so thankful the airline is wised up and so
starting with their new boarding system on January sixth of
twenty twenty six, you dirt.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
Bags no longer can take advantage of this, and I'm
thankful for that, all right.

Speaker 6 (28:16):
I wonder if they keep the stats on the amount
of people like they did they gave, like I think
they said, like it was in the hundreds, you know,
like per perf I don't know. I don't know if
it was per flight when I read it perflight, Yeah,
it was per flight.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
That's crazy per flight one hundred people requesting that is crazy.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
I wonder if that stat will dramatically grow go down.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Do you have to like show proof that you're in
a wheelchair to get wheelchair access. So I could just
show up in a wheelchair and be like, put me
on first.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
What No, it doesn't work that way.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
But you still you gotta X rays of your spine. Seriously,
we need to see you get up.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
No, the airline is so afraid to say anything. If
you basically make the requests like, they will grant.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
It for the most part.

Speaker 5 (29:03):
Yeah, and there'll be some people with the airlines who
try to deny this. I've watched some people who have
requested it walking in there. They had no they're just fat.
Let me just put it that way. People can get
upset with me saying this, but there was no need
for it. In fact, they should have they should have watched.

(29:25):
That's part of the issue is they're not walking away
and I don't.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
I really don't care if people get upset with me
saying this. And don't get me wrong, there's some legitimate
CAS's no doubt about it. But I would say the
lion's share of requests that go into Southwest are all
to cheat the system. Because if you if you made
handicap boarding after that first wave of round up group

(29:51):
over here, if you did it between the A and
B boarding, you wouldn't see as many requests, and I'm
a little bit surprised that. You know, again, the boarding
process wouldn't work as well that way for how they've
done it, but it would be an interesting little case
study to see. So I'm sorry to interject that into
the show, but I just I couldn't be any more

(30:12):
excited to see some of these dirtbags finally get caught
for what they've been trying.

Speaker 4 (30:16):
To pull the whole time.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Now, I did see an article and maybe you can
further explain this one. So Southwest ends its wheelchair boarding
advantage January twenty sixth, But the airport vip line skipping hack.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Isn't going away. So what's that about? What is the
vip line skipping deck?

Speaker 4 (30:35):
I don't know. I don't I use TSA pre or clear,
I don't do whatever.

Speaker 5 (30:39):
Like you would do something like that, you'd be like, oh,
that's right, maybe I need to Yeah, I maybe I
need to go in priority boarding or whatever.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
Yeah, you're one of those guys.

Speaker 5 (30:47):
Because you travel enough, you're gonna say you have TSA
pre two times you traveled.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
Now that's that's inaccurate.

Speaker 5 (30:54):
I've traveled Okay, twenty twenty five, you have flown to
New Orleans, which is a round trip, counts as one trip.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
You've gone to Chicago. I think you've gotten to Hawaii.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Uh yet Hawaii.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
Also the Orange Bowl. We did get orange for Houston,
Houston for the event.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
That's probably about it.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
And I think there was one more oh Vegas for
the Pacquia fight. Yeah, I mean they don't even count
as a flight. You can, so you flew six times,
six times.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
Okay, they might have.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
Been missing one there, but yeah, we'll give it a
place of a half dozen.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
So and by the way, that's that's a big year
for you. You know, Chicago Super Bowl, the semi final
was out.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
Of the ordinary.

Speaker 5 (31:40):
We won't be going there this year. I mean, if
you really start breaking this thing down, I mean I
shouldn't say we should, we won't be. We probably will
not be. I would imagine. I don't think I'm gonna
be able to get Yeah, I don't think I'll be
able to get you to come to a Notre Dame
playoff game.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
Oh, I see what you're saying. Wow, you you went.

Speaker 5 (31:59):
You went last year because we were it was Penn State,
Notre Dame you're not gonna be able to go this year.
It's just Notre Dame, you know.

Speaker 6 (32:04):
Well, I mean if we were doing an activation, I'll
be there. Okay, I got plenty of reasons to cheer
Notre Dame on too. By the way, I got a
nephew on on the team, that's true. And my baby
Bro is the quarterback legend of the team. Like I Bro,
I used that every day.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
You know, Jimmy Clawson.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
Nope, no Brady Queen.

Speaker 5 (32:29):
But in all seriousness, Jonas, you flew six times, varflies
six times. We're halfway through college football. Like, you can't
claim you're some like you know, I foil all the time,
do I?

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Well, that's why I asked the question, do I or
do I not have TSA pre check?

Speaker 11 (32:46):
I do do therefore, thereforement therefore I'm not one of
those scam artists who is traveling, you know, a few
times a year and they're trying to VIP hack themselves
up in line.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
Yeah, but clear has nothing to do with the Southwest line.

Speaker 5 (33:03):
And by the way, like there's no VIP. But like,
if you don't have pre TSA pre or clear, you're
most likely this doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
You're the boarding. The security process is not gonna be
fun for.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
You, by the way, isn't it? Traveling in the airports,
especially recently a real pain in the ass. I haven't
done it because I've been boots on the ground.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
I did it all last week.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
I had no issues.

Speaker 4 (33:25):
I swear to you.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
I did it last week. And I had to miss
a day of work, so we had.

Speaker 6 (33:33):
I don't I don't be on missing, but I ain't
get back until crazy late off of a delay, and
it was because we couldn't they didn't have enough crew
members for I guess traffic direction, so it ended up
being like I don't know, like thirty thirty some thirty

(33:58):
five forty planes that were in front of us because
there was like just a stack up and a build
up of traffic, and so you do the math on that.
It came out too roughly. They waited six minutes after
every takeoff, and we were like thirty five in the queue,

(34:20):
so if you do the math on that, and that's
after we were able to get on the plane. So
luckily it wasn't for a connector luckily it was the
last flight of the day and we were hitting our
final destination. Otherwise we would have never made a connector
if we were connecting, like there were many people on

(34:40):
that flight that missed, like connecting planes to Hawaii or
like I think France, like some people were going to Europe.
It was kind of bad, kind of stunk. But you know,
it has struck, It has shown its face for certain
But I heard things are back to normal now though.
That's that's the word on the streets. You know, it's

(35:03):
back to normal. Yeah, yeah, don't be afraid. I didn't
have any issues yesterday. I got in late, but I
didn't have any issues coming to Eugene yesterday, So it's good.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
There we go.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Yeah, so a nice little travel update here from the show.
It is two pros and a cup of joe.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
Here on get job.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
Ten dollars for what.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
Well, we will push this to the next segment. We
will hear Levar's case and I will make a judgment.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
Then that'd be ten dollars.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
By the way, Well, I'll update in next segment. We'll
talk about.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
This what a joke.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
We are brought to you by the Home Depot.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Get tools that perform at the highest level on every
job without compromise. When you shot Makeita at the Home
Depot and the job calls for the best cal on
Makita built to be the best available at the home depot.
House Pros get more done, and yes, apparently I'm gonna
go broke on this show by the end of the show,
but we'll get into that for you next year and
another edition of In case you missed it on FSR.

Speaker 8 (35:58):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here coming
up top next hour. A little over ten minutes from now,
We're going to get an update. We're going to talk
Hall of Fame. We got some potential Hall of Famers,
some future Hall of Famers. All that'll be yours here
again a little over ten minutes from now. By the way,
it reminded that this show is sponsored by DraftKings sportsbook

(36:30):
and official sports betting partner of the NFL and NBA,
and right now use the promo code two Pros to
claim your special offer at DraftKings again, that's promo code
two pros at DraftKings.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
The crown is yours.

Speaker 8 (36:41):
Sometimes you can't get to everything in the world of
sports or entertainment.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
Good thing.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
The guys are here to bring you in case you missed.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
It, And for that we turn it over to our
executive producer, the one and only Justin Cooper.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
You do know you're not getting off of the hook, right,
no good Hooper is going to be a part of this,
just in case you missed it.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
Does Coop have to be no offense? Coop, he's a witness.
I'm not even I'm not even sure what the ten
dollars things about. Well, he was asking, he was asking
what that was on the rundown earlier.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
Yeah, so let's yeah, let's just fully understand what's happened here.
We have put in a fine system. It's been there
for a while, but it's been a little fugezy. So
we've added some some protective measures for the integrity of
the court. And as of right now, I have been
fined ten dollars for the Micah Parsons crotch talk back

(37:34):
earlier this month, All bad LeVar has been fined ten
dollars for reminiscing and also self proclaimed comments.

Speaker 4 (37:43):
Then you've got Jonas.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
Jona's up a thirty dollars mind actually thirty five now
for multiple things. He was a weenie during an Albert
Breer interview, a little passive aggressive sarcasm earlier this month,
and then Dean Blandino guests suck is how we describe it.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
Sucking up to a guest is what that means.

Speaker 5 (38:03):
Now, Jonahs has appealed these fines, and here's the issue
with the appeal. When you appeal the fine, if it
does not rule in your favor, you incur another five
dollars fine. Otherwise, you know, Jonahs would just would be
appealing all the time. So Jonas, you could decide whether
or not you would like to appeal after we make

(38:23):
a decision on this ten dollars fine that you could incur.

Speaker 4 (38:26):
But understand there's there's ramifications that come along with it.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Well, thank you for letting me know what my rights are.
What are the basis of the fines? Just just be.

Speaker 3 (38:40):
Specifics.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
But I can't be a smart ass.

Speaker 1 (38:42):
Apparently I'm not letting he gets sensitive sometimes inaccurate.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
I'm a smart ass.

Speaker 1 (38:49):
They don't know my sense of humor because it's on
another level and because of that, I get punished for it.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
So so being a jerk is basically the Yeah.

Speaker 6 (39:00):
We just spent the last segment part of it talking
about Southwest and how they're going to stop letting people
use wheelchairs board. Jonas starts talking like he's this avid traveler,
don't I said, Brady? Brady. Brady called you on it.
Brady called you out on it, and since he got
all sensitive.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
Who cares?

Speaker 6 (39:22):
And at the end and at the end of the
conversation you said, uh, at the end, I do have
a pre check, a TSA pre check, which I do, okay,
but you were making the point to drive the point
home to us that you do have a PreCheck and
that you travel, even though Q said you don't travel much,

(39:43):
you don't need it.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
Your wasting money. What so when we're going to.

Speaker 6 (39:48):
Break you go and that'll do it for our update
and breakdown on traveling, which we know you don't travel.

Speaker 3 (39:57):
So you were being passive aggressive, particularly saying like.

Speaker 6 (40:02):
Since I don't need a TSA TSA prepass, we'll let
LeVar and Brady give you guys the update. And your
update has now been given to you and we're going
to break that's ten dollars, because that's.

Speaker 9 (40:14):
His passive progression.

Speaker 2 (40:16):
That's ridiculous past.

Speaker 4 (40:18):
What's your defense, what's your defense?

Speaker 1 (40:20):
My defense is I do have tsa pre check. I
don't know what that has to do, not in question,
but go ahead. I don't know what that has to
do with me saying, well, that'll update us here on
our travel issues or whatever I said.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
At the end of the segment, we.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
Were getting the break that was clear, that was clearly
passed the aggression.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
Here's here's the other issue here that needs to be
planted out.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
The only way that you're careful that you're going to
get this money is by somebody actually trying to physically
take it from me, and that can't happen on this
show because there's nobody in this studio right now that's
going to come get this cash.

Speaker 3 (40:52):
The Pans super

Speaker 6 (40:53):
Bowl Pals, that's a Pan set super Bowl that's twenty
dollars
