Speaker 4 (00:32):
Oh, come on, var.
Speaker 5 (00:37):
Right, al on right, al.
Speaker 6 (00:41):
You know I first started paying attention to this song
at Oregon volleyball games.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
By the way, they played USC last night. They did
yeah on the Big ten network. I saw it.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
How'd that go?
Speaker 7 (00:53):
Toka Ale?
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (00:56):
Hopefully that's not foreshadowing uh football game?
Speaker 6 (01:00):
Yeah, they may have different results.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
And you were there, went to the game I was.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Looking for you were? Were you barefoot on the court.
Speaker 6 (01:14):
I did no silent protest of playing my daughter more.
I'm not that type of a dad where I'd do
it every game, just every so often. Last night was
not one of those times.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
It's not one of those nights.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Hey, by the way, Uh, we're coming on close by the.
Speaker 8 (01:32):
Way, like, well they're getting beat that bad where you're like,
all right, this isn't time for protesting.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
This is just an ass kicking.
Speaker 6 (01:41):
No, it was competitive. It was competitive. Yeah, it was competitive.
Speaker 9 (01:45):
By the way, we're coming up on the time of year.
You can wear those Grinch Jordan's or whatever.
Speaker 6 (01:49):
They are as Yeah, they're Adidas. Why I sound like
the Grinch? Is that why you said that?
Speaker 4 (01:55):
No, I'm saying no because you have Grinch.
Speaker 7 (01:58):
I offended by it. I'm not I do have Grinch shoes.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
Yeah, it's just Christmas is coming up.
Speaker 6 (02:04):
Well, we haven't gotten through Thanksgiving yet. Am I supposed
to wear my Grinches?
Speaker 9 (02:07):
No, just letting you know, because it's green. You're an
Oregon like, maybe he's not a point. Maybe it's you know,
green organ Grinch like you guys, it's not the.
Speaker 7 (02:16):
Same type of green. Wow, you know.
Speaker 6 (02:19):
And then on top of that, yeah, I just I'm
gonna leave that one alone.
Speaker 7 (02:26):
I had something I was going to say.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
I could see you being like the Grinch, though, I
could see that.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
You're a mean one.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Mister vos Errington.
Speaker 7 (02:38):
You really your kids really make me sick.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
You're really gonna do this? Oh well that's a messed
up man.
Speaker 9 (02:49):
Whatever, all right, it is two pros and a cup
of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio Labaryn, Let's go.
Bar Jonas knocks with you, by the way, brought to
you by the Home Depot. Get tools to perform at
the highest level on every job without compromise when the shop,
When the shop calls, Makda at the Home Depot, when
the job calls for the best calling, Makida built to
be the best available at the home Depot. How pros
(03:09):
get more done? So we started doing this a couple
of weeks ago where we would pick and choose different
quotes from coaches in the NFL college football wherever throughout
the past several days, and we would try and decipher.
We would first play it for you and then try
and tell you what they're really trying to say. Patrick
SWEEKA has gone through and he's combed through all from
(03:33):
coaches in the NFL college football throughout the past past
several days. Here and so, Patty, what are we looking at?
Do we have any any theme music we can throw
on under the pop?
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Okay, well, well, well it is time to play coach speak. Everybody, Well,
the coaches speak, you guys speak, but your guys's answers
is what I seek. It's time to play, all right
before thank you? Thank you? All right, guys, So we
got I got five of us, five coaches to hear
(04:06):
from today. Let's go with our first one. So we
have mister Dan Campbell speaking a couple of days ago.
He wish he was making some better calls. You know what, Lorenna,
can you play mister Campbell for us?
Speaker 7 (04:18):
Please?
Speaker 10 (04:18):
Offensively? You know, three or thirteen on third down and
five on fourth down. You know, we just we could
not convert, you know, and when you can't convert, that
makes it very difficult. You know, I felt like we
gonna get a rhythm after that second quarter we started,
you know, we hit those explosives, went down, j Mos
scores touchdown, you know.
Speaker 7 (04:36):
And it felt like, all right, here we go.
Speaker 10 (04:39):
Just couldn't ever really get in a rhythm offensively. You know,
there's I mean, there's there's some calls I wish I
could have gotten back. You know, I didn't help those guys.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
I hate that, all right, And going first, here we
got mister Jonas Knox. You got to go first with what.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Do you know, let's go Jonas.
Speaker 9 (04:58):
I hate punters and I hate kickers. I will continue
to go forward on fourth down. I know the results
didn't speak well to my ability as a play caller
as head coach, but I'm gonna just have to take
the good with the bad. I'm a guy that if
I walk by Roulette wheel and I see that it's
hit red fifteen times in a row, I'm just gonna
keep pounding black until it comes up again. The way
(05:19):
I operate, That's the way I coach this team. And yeah,
we looked dreadful against Philly on Sunday Night football. But
you know what, much like any other gambler, I'll be
right back the next game, and I'll be going forward
on fourth down when all the statistics and all the
analytics would tell me otherwise, because I'm Dan Campbell.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
All right, okay, all right, okay.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
You know what, who gets to go next? Numero dose here,
mister Brady Quinn, you get to go second?
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Oh all right, Patti sweet?
Speaker 8 (05:48):
Yeah, yeah, Dan Campbell was actually saying this, man, I
miss Ben Johnson.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
He was such a good coach, such a good offensive mind.
Speaker 8 (05:57):
I would not have to stand up here right now
and say that said do this if Ben was still here. Hell,
I wouldn't even had to take over play calling duties
if Ben was still So that's the reality of it,
all right. I missed Ben, missed that guy, missed that
little brainiac over there in Chicago now winning some football.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Games, so which we had him back. But doesn't seem
like that's going to be the case.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
Okay, okay, Well, you know when.
Speaker 8 (06:23):
I try to keep the soundbites shorter than what the
actual one was, Jonah sometimes gets so long winded.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
It's like you can't. You can't break down coaches speak
and talk longer than they talk.
Speaker 9 (06:32):
I mean, well you can. I mean because he was
trying to say something, But what came out was the well.
Speaker 8 (06:38):
Of all the coaches who tries to say something. I
think Dan Campbell's pretty literal.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
It's fairy does like to bite meat caps And let's
let's go to number three, LeVar. What do we got?
Speaker 6 (06:51):
Well En punch kneecaps, don't forget about and this was
one of those times that we had to punch some
knee caps.
Speaker 7 (06:58):
You know. I took the.
Speaker 6 (06:58):
Play calling duties over because I felt like we could
get some you know, some rhythm. But that Eagles front,
they sure did whoop our ass and knocked us to
the ground. And now we're sitting here and we're punching
knee caps, and so was I. And you know what,
maybe I'll give those play calling duties backs because they
knocked the rhythm out of my ass and calling these games,
(07:21):
calling this game. And you know what, now I gotta
take the blame for it. And I'll do it with
my players and my team. Next time, I'll get back
up and I'll punch them in the.
Speaker 7 (07:31):
Face, in the face, in the face.
Speaker 6 (07:37):
You know what, if you're standing up, you can punch
them in the face or punch them in the belly.
Speaker 7 (07:40):
But you know, you just say, punch them in the teeth.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
You know what I'm with this. You know what you get,
you get draw first blood. Let's go, baby, let's go,
let's go.
Speaker 7 (07:52):
All right.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
Number two, we have head coach champaigning for the Broncos.
Speaker 7 (07:58):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
He was saying, there is the right way to win
each game, Lorena, could you go to mister Bayden please, there's.
Speaker 11 (08:03):
A way to win each game and the players will
deserve a chance, uh to have that. And so sometimes
that can vary. But in a game where you know
a lot of guys were banged up and they were
fully healthy, it's a big one.
Speaker 7 (08:20):
Can we had the first part of that again.
Speaker 5 (08:22):
Yeah, I want to hear that again too.
Speaker 11 (08:24):
There's a way to win each game, and the players
deserve it.
Speaker 7 (08:27):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (08:28):
I thought maybe he just he had that post game
draft spit in his mouth and couldn't get it.
Speaker 7 (08:35):
You know, it could kick up.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
I used to not be able to say my rs.
They all came out as w'sa What did that sound right?
Speaker 12 (08:42):
Like?
Speaker 5 (08:42):
My name would be Luna, Yeah, Lowyna. My dad's name
was Juan.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
How long ago?
Speaker 5 (08:47):
Third grade? I had to do speech therapy for like
three years.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
That's a long time ago that I thought you've met
like last.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
Year's Oh no, I wouldn't be in radio if I
sounded like that.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
There's some people we've got some issues speaking.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
I guess my middle name would not be wrong.
Speaker 7 (09:05):
You guys are taking a shot at me. I was.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
You know, you know of our prove them wrong. You
get to go first on this hard.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Yeah, come on.
Speaker 6 (09:20):
What I'm trying to say is is that listen, man,
No matter what type of win we get, we're going
to take it.
Speaker 7 (09:27):
Just think back.
Speaker 6 (09:28):
I was trying to win with Russell Wilson at one point,
and you know what, how did that go? So I'm
going to take these wins the best way that I
can get. Injuries, poor play, I don't care. It's how
I want it done. That's how it's going to be,
and that's what I'm living with. And that is the
right way of winning, the white way of winning. There
(09:53):
we go, baby Cats too. By the way, with my
with my white gun.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
You know our next dub Jonas, you get to go next.
Speaker 9 (10:04):
Sean Payton is saying, does this sound like I'm tripping
on my words? Because that's what our offense look like,
and it's what it's looked like the entire season. I'm
sitting here coaching a team supposed to be this offensive
guru and we are atrocious on that side of the ball.
And another thing, can you believe that Vance Joseph was
fired by this organization and I somehow conned him into
(10:25):
coming here and being the defensive coordinator. If not for him,
we would be one of the worst teams in the
league thanks to Vance. And now I'm gonna go figure
out how I can put my rs and w's together
in a sentence next time.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
That's pretty good too, all right, Brady, let's hear it.
Speaker 8 (10:43):
Yeah, there's a right way to win these football games.
And let me just remind you. We just beat Andy Reid,
and I don't know why you guys aren't talking about
being as being one of the best coach's best offensive
minds in the NFL. Finding a way to win over
a guy like that who's got a quarterback and Patrick Mahomes,
My godagine what I'd be doing five Patrick Mahomes. So, yeah,
there is a right way of winning football games. I
(11:05):
know how to win them, even though I don't have.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
As good of a quarterback, or maybe it's good of.
Speaker 8 (11:09):
Talent like a Hall of Fame tight end in Travis Kelcey.
We find ways of winning games.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Okay, the winner of this round is did.
Speaker 7 (11:16):
I tell you all?
Speaker 6 (11:17):
I want to slap Russell Wilson in the face. I
just want to make sure I draft that point home
in this press or that no matter what it is
you think about the Denver Broncos, I still want to
slap br.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Ivar needed a second round, can need his second round?
Speaker 3 (11:31):
You know what? I was gonna I was gonna give
this point to another person, but because of the second round,
you're up to.
Speaker 7 (11:38):
Yeah up too, oh yeah yeah Wow.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
There are no rules. It's just happened.
Speaker 7 (11:46):
All this segment.
Speaker 9 (11:48):
This is blatant favoritism. Guys like Brady and I can't
get a fair shake.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
In this town.
Speaker 7 (11:53):
What do you mean?
Speaker 4 (11:54):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 7 (11:56):
What do you mean like?
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Guys like that's not a white office though, what's a fair.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
Old pe swizzy back there is taking sides.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
I wouldn't say that, but what I will say is
Mike Kafka had something to say because he was he
was asked about benching Abdul Carter for that one series
in his game. Uh, Lurenda, could you play for mister
k That was a coach's decision.
Speaker 13 (12:20):
That's something we talked about, and I want to make
sure that was my decision.
Speaker 7 (12:23):
So we'll just keep the rest of that in the house.
Speaker 13 (12:26):
It will keep the rest of that in house. Just
this was a coach's decision for me and talk.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
To that duel, all right, and the first person to.
Speaker 7 (12:33):
Go and talk to Abdul what he said, I believe.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
So if you want to replay that for us.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
It's here again.
Speaker 13 (12:40):
That was a coach's decision. That's something we talked about,
and I want to make sure that was my decision.
So we'll just keep the rest of that in the house.
It will keep the rest of that in house. Just
this was a coach's decision for me and talk to
that duel.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
So yeah, you talk to him.
Speaker 7 (12:53):
I'm not I'm not I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (12:55):
Is he saying, and I talked to Abdul or he
sent as you he's saying, talk to Abdul like as
into the media.
Speaker 7 (13:02):
You talk to Abdul.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
I heard him talking.
Speaker 6 (13:06):
I wasn't sure. I wouldn't want to take it out
of context.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
That's fair.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
That's what we're doing this entire secondent.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
Well, you know what, who gets to go first on
this is actually mister breed.
Speaker 7 (13:17):
You get to think.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
About then let all go and then let the other
two guys go.
Speaker 8 (13:23):
Then I'll go again see if I can and try
to make more of a case for my Yamn. Mike
Kafka is saying, Look, I'm young, I get it. I'm
the interim head coach. No one respects me around here.
It's like a substance teacher. No one's listening. No one's
doing their homework. So I've got to lay down the law.
I've got to set a precedent here. And the reality is,
I've got a guy who comes from Penn State, like
(13:44):
all these other edge rushers that come from Penn State,
He's sleeping, He's just laying around. They're watching Micah Parson's
lay around on a training tables. Now he's laying around
on a training table, missing walkthroughs.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
And I've got to address this.
Speaker 8 (13:59):
I can't allow that stuff that happen anymore, not on
this team, not in my organization.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
I've gonna shot a beat the head coach somewhere.
Speaker 8 (14:05):
I've interviewed for jobs, and I can't let this guy
sleeping wherever he wants mess with that.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Okay, Okay, I like that. You know what, Jonas, you
get to go next.
Speaker 9 (14:18):
I mean, apparently this is a trend. As pointed out
at Penn State, Michael Parsons sleeps on a training table.
Abdul Carter sleeps and misses an entire practice or meeting.
It's disgusting. And by the way, check the guy's stats.
I'll bench him if I want to bench him. He's
got half a sack.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
This year.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
That sounds like a circumcision gone wrong.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
Next question, all right, I like that one, LaVar, You've
had time. What is your answer?
Speaker 6 (14:48):
Well, I'm sure Abdul doesn't wear turtle. Next, I'm sure
he's good on in that department. But I will say this,
the line of reasoning that coach brought to the table
for this discussion point was purely set forth by him
to Abdul Carter. Listen, the Penn State and Indie Lions
(15:09):
have been referenced multiple times in these these interpretations. Here's
the real one and here's the correct one. Their team
stinks this year. Yeah, struggle, they weren't they weren't good.
They're not in contention for a playoff bid, and yet
we were able to do that last year.
Speaker 7 (15:28):
Now, I was a.
Speaker 6 (15:29):
Part of that, and right now I'm hurting. I'm hurting emotionally.
There's a little bit of physical in that. I needed
a little bit of recovery time, and you know what,
Coach gave it to him. We had the conversation. In
fact that rest time actually carried over into game time.
He actually needed a little bit more recovery in time
(15:51):
to heal from what's taking place in State college, and
that was the discussion that was had, but would not
have gone over well with the media and New York
as we all know, their sharks in the water when
things take place in New York City.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Bang bang, You know what, Vard, that was a very
well thought out, concise, precise answer and I love it. However,
the winner is Jonas Knox for this round of talking
about Jonas the circumcision comed That's exactly what wanted for me.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
Yeah, half sack.
Speaker 5 (16:23):
You should have heard Patty's scream when you said it.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Oh god, it was he got a circumcision comment.
Speaker 6 (16:29):
Only Jonas Knox will get away with a circumcision reference
to an explanations got too much?
Speaker 4 (16:36):
Oh man?
Speaker 3 (16:37):
Well fair number four here, guys, we have a respite.
Speaker 7 (16:42):
On last break st he had to come up with
some material.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
So Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, uh was you know what?
Talked and reacting to the whole face spitting thing with
Jamar Chas and Jaylen Ramsey Lourena. Could you play Tomlin's response.
Speaker 6 (17:00):
I have no message or someone spits in your face,
do what comes natural?
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Yeah? That was just blunt with that, and you know what, uh, Var,
you get to go first? On this one.
Speaker 7 (17:10):
What a bomb bomb? Bum bum b bumm bom bomb.
Speaker 6 (17:15):
A This man never troubles no one, but if you
trouble this man, it will be a bom bomb.
Speaker 7 (17:25):
What a bom bomb?
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Do?
Speaker 7 (17:28):
What comes natural? There you go?
Speaker 6 (17:31):
If you know you know, if you know you know that,
if you know you know, shock a demon's baby.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
If you know you know Freddie and you know what
I know that, you get to go next.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
That's right.
Speaker 8 (17:43):
Uh, Mike Tom said, whoop his ass. Do not let
another man spit on you. It's as simple as that.
I guarantee you behind closed doors you would have whooped
his ass through that next time.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
Oh spicy?
Speaker 7 (17:57):
What if Jamar Chase can whoop him though?
Speaker 2 (18:00):
Nah, Joe Rams got to.
Speaker 7 (18:02):
Reach on him.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
That's fair.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
Well, you know who's got the reach here? We got
Jonas Knox.
Speaker 9 (18:08):
Well, I mean, we're looking at a guy from Cincinnati
who spit on another man. And if you've ever been
to Cincinnati, you've been a skyline chili. There's a lot
of people spitting out the food there. I don't blame him.
I understand what disrespect And whether it's this gold Star,
whether it's Scout Lions, it's brutal, and I can understand
where he comes from. That being said, my guy had
(18:28):
every right to punch him in his face.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
Oh you gotta give him that houck dude that night.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
Thank you, Lorena. Well the winner of this one. Honestly,
this one was actually really close. But we do have
a winner, and it is the vampire himself. Mister Jonas
talking about put.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
That in your pipe.
Speaker 7 (18:47):
It's you're getting you were close.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Come on, Brady, I know you got in you.
Speaker 8 (18:52):
I'm not happy about Patti Sweet disrespecting Skyline Chili like that.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
I just I've never had to expect. I just thought
it was funny.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
It's runny.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
Fair Well, I'm running. You've never even had it.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
I have clown in a can. It was sent to me.
It was sent to me in a can, And.
Speaker 8 (19:12):
Which is not having it then, because you've never actually
been there, so you wouldn't know if it's runny.
Speaker 9 (19:16):
Then I've had Skyline chili in a can and it sucked.
Speaker 7 (19:21):
Had such a strong opinion about chili.
Speaker 4 (19:24):
I just made chili.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Then that's like saying you can do.
Speaker 8 (19:27):
That's like going to Carbones and you're like, you know what,
I had their chicken pearl I thought the sauce was
kind of off, and then like getting that the bottle
or like the cannifit at home.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
You're like, oh, it's exact same.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
No, No, it's not a fair compr.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
We have it is one hundred. How is that any
different than what you're talking.
Speaker 9 (19:43):
About a fair comp because I've actually have never been
to the restaurant, but I've had it in the can exactly.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Yeah, Oh my goodness. All right, we have a final
one here, guys. This is either for all the marbles
or Brady finally gets on the board and we have
a stalemate between var and Jonas. So we had Lane Kiffin,
old Missus head coach, and he was asked, you know,
if there's anything going on since he's looking around possibly
he said, there's no ultimatum that he's giving to his team. Lourene,
(20:11):
could you play for mister Kiffin.
Speaker 7 (20:12):
That's absolutely not true. There's been no ultimating anything like
that at all.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
And so I don't know where that came from, Like.
Speaker 7 (20:18):
A lot of stuff that comes out there. Like I said, man,
we're having a blast. I love it here.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
And that was mister Kiffin, and you know what, to
plead his case here Brady, you get to go first.
Speaker 8 (20:31):
Yeah, coach is saying, look, I heard that Wolves just said,
and I think Scotline Chili is great.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
I think Jonas Knox is a d bag.
Speaker 8 (20:39):
He should probably go to Scoutline Chili if he actually
wants to taste what it tastes like, instead of just
referencing out of a cant like all these other LSU
people who I'm not going there, all right, I'm standing
old miss going to Florida be either way. I've had
Skyline Chili and it's delicious, and Jonas knock is a d.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
Bag, scathing I like it. You know what, Jonas counterpoint,
you get to go next. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (21:03):
I'm not going to be attacked, all right. I'm not
going to be attacked by boosters. I'm not going to
be attacked by people wanting more nil money. And I'm
definitely not going to be attacked by somebody who's trying
to pound the table for Skyline Chili. They're a cabana
boy for Skyline Chili for some ungodly reason, and it
discussed me. So no, I won't take any coaching job
in Cincinnati. I won't take a coaching job in Baton
(21:25):
Rouge but yeah, there's been some ultimatums.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Okay, our final word.
Speaker 6 (21:33):
I don't give a damn about Skyline Chili. I don't
give a damn about Ohio in this scenario. And I
damn sure don't give a damn about no deadlines or ultimatums.
Speaker 7 (21:45):
I'm laying kiffin.
Speaker 6 (21:47):
I've been left on a tarmac before, jobless. Hell, I've
been left by the person that was supposed to love
me to most in life.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Oh No, I've gone through a.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
Whole lot in my life, and you know what it's
led this. It's led to me being on top. And
ain't nobody, and I mean nobody gonna rush me to
the decision that I make. So if there's any offers
out there for me, get at my agent. Oh miss,
(22:18):
you want me to stay, get at my agent. Press
conference is over, Lane is.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Out, and with that, the concessions are in, the voting
is in, and the winner. By the way, this gets
three points. I just threw that in there because it
was so fiery and inspiring. I'm just giving three points
because we have a clear winner here.
Speaker 14 (22:45):
Brady quiet, but three points for it was fiery, it
was inspiring.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
First blood, It hit me in my heart.
Speaker 5 (22:59):
Is this a suck up here?
Speaker 7 (23:00):
You know it was not.
Speaker 8 (23:04):
You're not a part of the fine system, Laurna. Do
not try to pull Patty Sweet into this, all right?
There for many reasons.
Speaker 7 (23:11):
There's it was very Jonas Knox like, I'm just saying.
Speaker 8 (23:14):
Well, first off, he lets you go a second time
and then gave you the point.
Speaker 7 (23:18):
That is true.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
That is true.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Okay, it is true.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
There are no rules.
Speaker 7 (23:22):
I didn't hear me. You don't hear me, beef Witing though,
you know what I mean, l A. You know you gotta.
Speaker 8 (23:29):
Trying to to like dis a place they've never actually
been to.
Speaker 9 (23:34):
I've had something from the place you have, not something
in a can is not really from that place, from
like a factory, a mass produced. I know who Jeffrey
Dahmer is. I don't need to meet his parents. I
know where he comes from. I know where that can
have anything to do with. I know where that can
came from.
Speaker 7 (23:50):
It's very dark, very vampire like.
Speaker 9 (23:53):
By the way, every Olympic dream starts with the first glide.

(24:15):
it be known, letting it be known they are staying
put in the world of football.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
That'll be yours right here on FSR.
Speaker 6 (24:21):
Well, all right, speaking of staying put, you know what
you're gonna want to do. You're gonna want to stay
put for a little bit of food, especially if that
food is some Louisiana hot sauce. That's right, everybody, listen.
The food tastes better, the drinks are colder. The hot sauce, well, yeah,
it's hot, and it's good if it's original Louisiana hot sauce.
(24:46):
Because nothing brings the heat like your team getting that dub,
and nothing brings the flavor like that bold, handcrafted kick
straight out of Louisiana. It's a kick of peppery peppers,
vinegar and salt that our Louisiana flavor masters have been
blending perfectly for almost one hundred years. It'll turn every
(25:07):
good meal into a great meal, and every great meal
into a party. On your plate, wings, nachos, burgers, don't matter.
You hit it with that Original Louisiana has sauce. H
after a Sunday win and suddenly it's unbeatable, like a touchdown.
Dance on your old tongue, and hey, if your team
(25:28):
didn't pull off the win, it's okay. Pour some on anyway,
it'll help ease the pain. That's what we call a
victory formation. For your taste buzz, that's original Louisiana Hot Sauce.
That's Louisiana Hot. Buy you soon.
Speaker 12 (25:45):

some rumors that potentially he would be on his way out,
you know, maybe heading back to the NFL, might to
kick the tires on some potential interest there. Desmond Howard
kind of through out there that don't be surprised if
the Texas job is open after this season. So Steve Sarkisian,
(27:54):
the Texas head coach, decided to address those rumors with yesterday.
Speaker 17 (28:01):
I'd like to comment on something before I get into
our team, something that has been bothering me now over
the past few weeks, and that is people reporting or
insinuating that there's a possibility I could leave the University
of Texas and that is absolutely false and untrue. I'm
not going anywhere. Never do I do this because I
(28:23):
never want to be a distraction. So I never addressed
these things. But at this point now I feel like
that is important that I do do this because it's
important for our team.
Speaker 7 (28:32):
It's important for our university.
Speaker 17 (28:34):
I've had no discussions, not with my agent, not with
the university, not with any other school, not with any
NFL team about ever going anywhere else.
Speaker 7 (28:44):
I came here to win championships.
Speaker 17 (28:46):
So moving forward, when some Joe Blow decides to put
something on social media out there, we all don't run
with it like it's the gospel.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
Can we all agree on that on this call.
Speaker 17 (28:56):
And if you have a question about my future with
the University of Texas, ask me on one of these calls,
ask Krystell Connie. He'll be more than happy to take
your call so that we can set the record street
so we can focus on our football team, which is
really what we should be doing.
Speaker 7 (29:13):
Tell Sark, do you think he's talking to Desmond Howard?
Speaker 9 (29:19):
Well, he wasn't the only one who you know, kind
of speculated there would be an opening there.
Speaker 7 (29:23):
You can't call him any Joe Blow. I mean.
Speaker 6 (29:27):
That's a little bit misplaced, but I mean I get
I get the you know, enthusiasm about the approach to it.
I mean sounds like he's emphatically saying that he is
a Texas getting Longhorn coach, and he said, what a
pretty like stand up guy, right like he I don't
feel like that.
Speaker 9 (29:47):
Mean, Desmond said something on the lines of, don't be
surprised if the Texas job is open at the end
of the season, so whether he fired, whether he moves on, whatever.
But you know, there was that, and there was the
other report that came out a few weeks back about
you know, him potentially looking or having interest in other
jobs or maybe going back to the NFL rather so
(30:12):
been some stuff out there, but.
Speaker 7 (30:14):
I mean it could have been Jonas, honestly.
Speaker 4 (30:18):
I mean I do have that kind of pull, like there's.
Speaker 18 (30:20):
You know that, yeah, but maybe, I mean, at least
he you know, at least he's letting everybody know I'm
not going anywhere, like, look, this is this, I'm here
to stay.
Speaker 9 (30:32):
And he's not, you know, wishy washy about any of it,
and he's just letting it be known like I'm your guy,
and I'll be over that.
Speaker 8 (30:38):
I wish, I wish there was an easier way or
better way of doing this for coaches. Because oftentimes, and
this happens in the NFL too, when we hear rumors
or different things, they immediately shoot it down. They turn
it right back around and do exactly what was reported.
And I'm not saying that Steve Sarkasian is going to leave.
Was there's someone who inquired or reached out when that
(31:00):
head coaching job or vacancy came open, it's not, you know,
impossible think that that didn't take place.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
So I think it's a lot about the messaging. And
I understand, as.
Speaker 8 (31:14):
You know, head football coach of a college team, it's
much more difficult to handle these rumors because you've got
a roster of players that can pick up and leave
in the transfer portal if they want to, or if
they feel like you're not being genuine, if they're concerned
about that, because you're always recruiting, no matter how good
(31:34):
you are, no matter what point of the year you are,
you're always recruiting. It's either the next class. It's either
the guys who are current currently on your roster. It's
either looking at guys who are about to be on
your roster to the transfer portal or through maybe you
know a kid joining your team. Who's leaving, you know,
from another team that just got their coach fired. There's
all sorts of circumstances. It's not like that in the NFL,
(31:59):
where when you're a head coach you don't have to
be as concerned about what you're saying to retain your
locker room, your players. That is the life you lead
in college football, so you have to be very careful
about what you say, how you say it, and also
at times you got to put yourself in a self
position because you know, could he turn right back around
and end up leaving.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (32:20):
I just was listened to a podcast the other day
where a player at Cincinnati was talking about his experience
with Brian Kelly. When Brian Kelly ended up leaving to
go to Notre Dame, lied straight to his face.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
I mean, I'll be honest. I remember when I was
in high school, I'd.
Speaker 8 (32:36):
Asked my high school to coach a coach at the
time my sophomore year, Hey heard these rumors.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
I heard you going to this school. You know his
exact quote to me.
Speaker 8 (32:45):
And I'll never forget this because I've gone over with
my best friend, my wide receiver, and we were both
curious to see what his response was going to be,
because you know, we had a good connection. We knew
we were gonna have like something special that another head
coach was going to inherit. And when we went in there,
(33:06):
his wife goes, yeah, he's upstairs, hes painting in the bedroom,
which usually you know you're tan to sell a house.
More often than not, you're gonna fix some things up
before you put on the market. Now, as a sixteen
year old kid, I'm not overly wise to that, but
I'll never forget him looking back at me up on
the ladder, why he's painting a wall, saying, son, you
(33:26):
take those rumors, you put them on a shelf.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
I'm like, all right.
Speaker 8 (33:31):
And then literally the next week you end up taking
a job at a different high school. And I just
thought to myself, like, all right, I mean, now, maybe
they were going to push him out, maybe they're gonna
fire him anyway, who knows.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
But at the end of the day, I.
Speaker 8 (33:46):
Just I've never felt confident in being able to truly
read into a coach's words at a college or high
school level, because the roster could be somewhat transient, so
they kind of have to lie to you in order
to keep you. That's just the world they live in
and it's an unfortunate reality to it. But you know, look,
(34:06):
if if Sark went to go coach for the Tennessee Titans,
for example, I wouldn't blame him for it. I don't
think he's going to I don't think he's going to
be their guy or he's leaving, But I wouldn't blame
him if that's what you want to do.
Speaker 6 (34:18):
This is an age old discussion of the trust factor
with coaches. I always say, don't you can't trust a
coach at the end of the at the end of
the day, you can trust what they bring to the
table as to what they're.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
You've been a coach, so you can admit that.
Speaker 7 (34:35):
Sure, sure, I mean you can.
Speaker 6 (34:39):
You can look at it from the pure standpoint of
a coach will always value building their own value and
protecting their interests within a situation. And if that means
that you know, I'm going to bench you or I'm
(35:00):
not going to play you, or I'm going to go
get a different job based upon what that opportunity presents,
that's what that coach is going to do. And I
remember learning that at an early age as well, Like look, man,
a coach, a coach is there to coach. If there're
anything more than a coach, that's a bonus. But you
(35:22):
can't hang your hat on the fact that every coach
is going to be like your father. And I think
a lot of times that's how athletes treat coaches like God,
it's like my second dad, or it's the dad I
never had, or anything like that, and they have to
assume these roles that don't fall under the parameters of
what the.
Speaker 7 (35:42):
Coach actually is to be.
Speaker 6 (35:47):
The coach is there to teach you the scheme, teach
you the game, show you, I mean some of them
show you the fundamentals, and you go from there and
that's it. You know, if you go to extra male
and you you able to get something more out of
a coach, and you hear about the best coaches being
those figures that hold integrity and hold you know, the
(36:09):
passion for the game and be person of service and
all those things. That's generally I mean to me, that's
that's someone who has chosen to go above and beyond.
But outside of that, a coach is going to do
what's best for a coach in the profession of coaching.
Speaker 7 (36:27):
It's a reward driven.
Speaker 6 (36:30):
It's a production driven industry, just like it is for
the players. If you don't produce, you're gone. If you produce,
then you're able to stay or you're able to build
up to a better job.
Speaker 7 (36:42):
That's just the nature of the business.
Speaker 9 (36:44):
Do you think it's an easier conversation to have though,
if a coach says to a player, upon further review,
I am going to leave because now he could just
take him with him, you know, like, you're not selling
these guys on come play for me, Come play for me,
and then two years later you're out the door and
they're stuck. Now it's more of a hey, listen, there's
an opportunity. I know I told you I was going
(37:04):
to be here long term, but this opportunity opened up.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
But it's not you. I want you to come with me, Like,
wouldn't that make the conversation.
Speaker 6 (37:12):
I'm curious to see how many players go to Virginia Tech.
I'm curious. I'll be curious to see when this I
don't know.
Speaker 7 (37:27):
I think there are elements at play right now.
Speaker 19 (37:30):
There's some hesitation there almost like well, yeah, and we
don't have time for it because we're up against it,
but I do think it warrants a conversation at some point,
like and it's not worth it until we get to
that point where they can actually transfer and what in
about two weeks or whatever that timeframe is.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
But it will be interesting to go back and kind
of look at.
Speaker 8 (37:51):
And probably not even for a year or two from now,
but to look at like what how Penn State handled
it and whether or not that was the right way
of doing it, like firing James Franklin when they did
instead of waiting for the season, and then him going
to you know, Votsak and how that impacted the roster,
and then you know when they got the new head
next head coach, and how he was able to build
a back up, like all those things are are kind
of big questions.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
Speaker 6 (38:14):
Yeah, and it's it's spicy. It's spicy business and you
know what, oh I mean, it's so spicy. I could
throw some original Louisiana hot sauce on it because well
it's the perfect balance of peppers and vinegar and so wings, nachos, burgers,
coaching jobs. You can hit it with anything, Tailgate food,
you know that bold handcrafted flavor of the original Louisiana
(38:37):
Hot sauce. That's what you need. That's Louisiana Hot. Make
sure you bat you soon.
Speaker 9 (38:42):

And it's called our Express Pros Pro the Week and
the Pro the Week Ghost Two three.
Speaker 21 (39:35):
Receivers left, counting the tight end.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
One to the right man.
Speaker 4 (39:40):
It's a tontal screen.
Speaker 21 (39:41):
Ty Johnson threw a holding up the sideline forty thirty
five thirty.
Speaker 4 (39:45):
It's a foot right sweatye.
Speaker 21 (39:46):
Ten five touchdown time Johnson Mercy fifty one yards to
PAINTERRT three receivers to the left, Cook to the right
of Allen and the shotgun here on second four. Alan
back to pass now going to tuck it and run
as he's looking for the end zone and the searge
pushes him in for his sixth touchdown of the season.
Speaker 4 (40:10):
For the game.
Speaker 21 (40:12):
He is a beast for a Capitol b He is
a story machine. He's unbelievable. He has tied his career
high in a football game with his sixth touchdown.
Speaker 9 (40:25):
Bill's Radio Network on the call. That is your Express

That's www dot expresspros dot com. Congratulations to Josh Allen,
(40:45):
your Express Prospro of the week. By the way, Josh
Allen one more rushing touchdown and he will break Cam
Newton's record for most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in
NFL history.
Speaker 4 (40:58):
Up fing top quid, oh.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
Top gun it, top gun it.
Speaker 8 (41:03):
And by the way, I think he's got a lot
left ahead of him if you really think about that.
For how prolific of a passer he's been, he's equally
bit a ridiculously dual threat quarterback at least running football.
Speaker 9 (41:14):
You know, he's got forty one more rushing touchdowns and
Lamar Jackson. It's crazy you got to say about that, Var.
Speaker 6 (41:24):
I'm just letting the music ride. I mean, yeah, just
let y'all have y'all's moment.
Speaker 7 (41:29):
That's all.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
It's up.
Speaker 7 (41:31):
Var. No, I'm not a hater.
Speaker 6 (41:33):
Y'all want to top gun it, top gun it, y'all
want to.
Speaker 7 (41:37):
Y'all go ahead and do it. Oh, do it, you know,
do what y'all need to do. All right, I'm with you.
Speaker 6 (41:44):
Put the books up, Jonas, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (41:48):
Patty sweek and did it passing.
Speaker 5 (41:51):
You can't see me anymore, Jonas. But I also did
it just so you know.
Speaker 4 (41:56):
Ye, Lorena is not happy with the camera set up.
Speaker 5 (41:59):
I can't make eye contact with Jonas anymore, all right?
Speaker 7 (42:02):
Why is that?
Speaker 2 (42:03):
That's why was it necessary?
Speaker 4 (42:05):
You're not missing much.
Speaker 5 (42:08):
We use it for cues, you know, like you know,
when you got to play a sound bite or something,
you know, he looks at you and goes pop like
fire it. I can't even see it anymore.
Speaker 7 (42:16):
You need to play top gun.
Speaker 5 (42:17):
Well yeah, he said top gun gonna you know.
Speaker 6 (42:20):
Yeah said that quite a few times.
Speaker 5 (42:24):
You say, how fast I was on that poll to
that trigger?
Speaker 2 (42:26):
You were? You were? You were quick on the trigger there,
but you were in his eyes.
Speaker 9 (42:29):
