Speaker 3 (01:54):
Good morning, Hey, hey.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
It's good morning for most you know. Yeah, maybe not
so last night. Who you had yesterday?

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Oh well, if you're a rams good morning, you're probably
still snoozing.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
Enjoying the win.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Yeah, there's the boy that was a beating that was
not great, the sort of flailing Tampa Bay Buccaneers and
the LA Rams, who are the Super Bowl favorites, and
Matthew Stafford just out there dealing.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Ramm it.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Oh gosh, yeah, I can't understand how I would be
an Opher on the day, Like, there's.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
No way, Yeah, you got one.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Is this based off of the point spirits or is
it based off of the choice.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
It's both. It's point spreads and depending on if you
want money line, then just the choice.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Yeah, I know the choice, but I just don't see
how it would have had to have been the point spirits.
That jammed me up because I was picking the teams
that one, Like, I mean there was.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Easy, Yeah, you got the Rams. The Rams won, but
the Eagles didn't win. They lost out right to the Cowboys.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Uh, the Steelers, you know, they didn't win.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
They didn't win. But that wasn't all the games.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I mean the Chiefs didn't win. Yeah, excuse me. The
Colts did.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
They did win, they did win. Yeah, I had the
Colts win in that game. Money line, Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
That was good. I was on the right side of.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
That bed had the Bengals, and the Bengals ended up
losing by six, which unfortunately, but I took the points
on that right, right, But the Patriots won by six.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
I had the Patriots losing.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
No, you had the Bengals and the points with the points.
But yeah, the Patriots they covered the spread. They won
by six. I was five, yeah, five and a half.
Go figure. I was on the right side of that
bet too, but go ahead.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
Go these days.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
That line was a five and a half when we
picked it. Yeah, Bengals Patriots.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Yes, I don't know why you do this. What do
you mean you're a part of this.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
All because Joe Burrow.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
There was a thought that Joe Burrow was gonna play,
and so that it moved up to seven and a half?

Speaker 3 (04:17):
All right, got it?

Speaker 5 (04:20):
All right?

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Well, I will say this hare and my takeaways. My takeaways.
The Rams are really good. The defense looks like they're
they complement the Rams offense very well. The Philadelphia Eagles

(04:41):
offense is going to be a that's going to be
to their detriment like they're they're in question.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
The Chicago Bears.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
I can't believe our team that you actually have to
talk about in the terms of potential. They potentially could
be a problem heading down the stretch. And could be
a problem in the playoffs. It's pretty interesting, man, n't
worry about that?

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Why is that?

Speaker 1 (05:11):
I just did injuries? They're just not Yeah, I don't.
I don't think there's there's a lot.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
They find ways to win. Man, They're continuing to find
ways to win. I feel like that was a quality victory,
Like was how do you how do you not measure
that as like why would you say you you don't
have to worry about them, Like I think you certainly
have to worry about them.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
I think you're bearing the lead rain I hit it
today is really about one story, and only one story.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
I was getting there.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
That's right, you're right, yeah show yeah, yeah, that's perfect.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
The first win. It feels like in Forever versus the
Las Vegas Raiders, I was a chip Kelly to get fired.
It's all about Shador Sanders Baby in his debut dropping Dimes,
speak on perfect timing.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
I didn't win that, bar bar speak on a Q Yeah,
not winning that bet. We didn't.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
We didn't actually pick that.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
We didn't bet on that one, okayiod games Oh because
I because I actually said, I mean in the promo.
You can hear it in the promo you can change
everything with the Raiders. It was perfect time.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
And I mean, dude, they give up ten sacks. I
mean I.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
Just look, I was seeing ghost.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
It's yeah, I was gonna say. It's not all on
Chip Kelly. He gets the bulk of the blame, gets
fired after the game, But I mean the offensive line played,
the protection, the lack of guys getting opened. Obviously the
Browns have one of the better defensive fronts too, so
it's a combination of everything. But I look at that
and say, that was one of the more awful offensive
performances we scene. And again Chip Kelly takes the blame

(07:02):
for it, and he gets fired. But you know, missed
some throws too. Everyone pitched.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
The whole.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
But this doesn't matter because it's really about horrible hor
check that watch bark. This is about share what you
what you know about wearing that?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Hey man, it's perfect time and hell yeah he delivered.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Daddy was there in the stands.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
You know you want to you want to hear a
little post Yeah they're not the season anything. Do you
want to little post game?

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Very very very very relaxed, very calm, cool and collected.

Speaker 7 (07:46):
I'm not gonna lie feel very relaxed, very relaxed, And
half of that comes from preparing, studying, and knowing I
got got on my side. Everybody's not in the best situation,
but it's no excuse. You go out there and perform
like there's no.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
Choice, in no question. Nobody cares. If this is when
we could prep who cares? You know?

Speaker 7 (08:06):
So a lot of people want to see me feeling
it ain't gonna happen. You know it ain't gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Check your watch, Bar, check that watch.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Far go down swinging, baby, yeah, or go up swinging?

Speaker 8 (08:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Yes. They A lot of people don't.

Speaker 9 (08:26):
Want to see me telling me happen, and they want
to see me fall it ain't happen. And I throw
these balls, they catch the ball, We win the game,
We WoT the wall. They want to see me Bailly,
it ain't gonna happen. What they say. They want me
down there, they ain't gonna happen. I got God on

(08:46):
my side, it ain't gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Yeah, let us see you're coming around, bar. You wanted
that guy cut, you wanted his.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
I wouldn't have been surprised if it happened, is what
I said. I'd say that, but it's good. I mean, listen,
by the way, perfect timing. You had to be done.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Are we done with people thinking that the Browns are
trying to set him up to fail or or did
the brown set him up the film? He just he
overcame it.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
Yeah, with that before Actually it was stated by people
in the media that he was facing a In fact,
it might have been the odd couple that said it.
I forget who it was, but you know, basically said
he set up for a lose lose situation. Now, does
that mean that lose lose situation is connected to the
Browns setting him up? Maybe maybe that's put to bed,

(09:40):
but just best believe fellas the first opportunity. People get
to blame it on something else other than it's going
to happen if you're a fan and that's that's that's inevitable,
if you're around.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
With the Browns.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
If you're a fifth round pick and you get to
start in the NFL, I don't know that seems like
a win for me. The It doesn't really seem like
a lose lose lose situation, like if you if you're
on the roster with an opportunity to climb up the
depth chart and start a game. I don't know how
that's how that's a loss for anybody. I don't know
how that's him being put in a bad spot. I
didn't get it. I don't understand that. But yeah, I

(10:17):
think Brady labeled it perfectly when we were talking to
Albert Breer, like it turned into a culture war, Like
just the whole thing's bizarre.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
It really is bizarre. It's like there's like people who well,
it's like they they feel like the whole world is
against them. And I don't know if it's because some
of the stuff he says that lead you to think that.
But let's just get a few things straight, all right.
He was much more prepared for this game as he

(10:48):
should be. Why he probably got every rep during the
week because he's now in a starter's position, and he's
comment about, all, we got one week to prepare. Oh yeah, dude,
that's how the works. Like you'll get one week next
week to prepare for that opponent two, Like you don't
get a buye before you play everyone in two weeks
to prepare. So it's it's a bit odd always how

(11:12):
the narrative from him from everyone else comes out like
when you're a backup, you don't get any reps, you know.
And so last week when he went in there and
people go he wasn't prepared or to put him in
a position to fail. Every single backup in the history
of football is put in a position to fail because
you don't get any physical reps whatsoever. No starter is

(11:33):
given those reps up and you're expected to go in
there and play at a level as high as the starter,
and it's impossible because you literally don't get any of
those physical reps. It's all mental reps. It's all going
through the script of practice every single day during the
week and then dropping back and throwing the routes against
certain defensive and defenses and imagining in your mind what

(11:57):
that was, and then going through the rhythm of that,
like that's what you do to prepare. And so then
when you become the start and you have one week's time,
that's what it is. Like, my man, I found out
Monday night, Monday night that I was gonna have to
start and play on a Thursday night game. I had
one day a practice, all right, And like I was

(12:17):
never complaining about first start for Cleveland, Like that's life
in the NFL, so I would say this, he looked
much more prepared. I mean, look, the Raiders are atrocious,
doesn't matter. They're an NFL team. They got the win.
I got Tommy Reese, their play caller, did a very
good job of making them feel comfortable. Mixed in a
lot of screens. His first touchdown past was a screen,

(12:39):
and there's nothing wrong with that, all right, when you
can give a quarterback the opportunity to get some easy
completions and allow guys to get runs after the catch.
He made a great throw on the deep shot down
the field that helps set them up for a touchdown.
So it's it's good to see that. Now there are
some plays where you go, okay, there's some work to do,
but he's a rookie and he going to improve. The

(13:02):
question becomes they get a win, all right? If they
win again, depending on how long Dylan Gabriel's out, will
Dylan Gabriel stay out because Beau Stefanski already said that
when Gabriel's healthy, heels come back and be the starter,
which if Shador wins two in a row, there's some
momentum building there, like, do you think they're still gonna
stick with that. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
It's a great question. And again, if he's out this weekend,
like okay, they have what the Niners coming up, that's
that's a little bit of a more difficult game, but
it's a winnable game.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
I don't see the Niners being.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
Crazy hard to deal with at this point, but that
would be a quality that would be a quality win
if if this word decision to be made and they
were playing against a team like Tennessee. I don't think
if it's a two game stretch and it's the Raiders

(14:03):
and it's Tennessee, that you make the decision that it
is shador to stay in there based upon wins. I
don't look at those as you're a part of quality wins.
I think the forty nine ers being the next test
up if they win against the Niners, I still think
it's a quality enough opponent where Stefanski has to have

(14:25):
the conversation of who's going to be the starter. You know,
Dylan Gabriel didn't separate himself in any type of manner
that would say he has to be loyal to him
in this scenario, and Stefanski has his own ghost that
he's running from in this scenario. He's underpass Russia attack, right,

(14:48):
so he's fighting to see if he can maintain his
job position and title with the Browns as well. So
it's going to be a real decision from Stefans. It's
not going to be, oh, well, we're going with Dylan Gabriel,
he's our starter.

Speaker 5 (15:04):
He's coming.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
No, if he wins against the Shador Sanders wins against
the forty nine ers, if he's indeed playing, then yes,
that is going to be a conversation changer. It really
will be, because I would assume if he's if they're
going into the Titans game, why would you pull Shador
Sanders out if he's on the two game run and

(15:26):
that rule that one win is a legitimate win.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
You know what's great about the conversation, though, none of
it matters because they're drafting a quarterback next year.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Anyways, it doesn't matter. Literally, do whatever you want. I
mean that both there.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
You can say that the problem is that class is
just it's not looking like it was before the season,
and so you're probably good. Fernando Mendoz, who's looked as
one of the top the top quarterbacks. I think Dante
more the way he's played, he would be the guy
that I'm not sure what advice people are giving him
the quarterback of Oregon, but I love his tape, Like

(16:01):
if he came out, I think he would be the
top overall quarterback, and just having the chance to talk
with him, seems mature enough to be able to handle
the moment and everything else that comes along with that.
But some people feel like he should even go back
depending on how this season finishes out. So it's gonna
be interesting to see what that class looks like because
I think everyone assumes that. But if you don't have
a guy you love and you're in that position, I

(16:25):
don't know. I mean, you're gonna be forced to take
someone that you're not overly excited about. Why not give
this whole thing another year see what happens.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
According to DraftKings, the number one pick odds, ty Simpson
is just ahead of an end.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Which he's a first year starter from Alabama and he's
done a good job there. But I mean, I just
you know he'll be a part of that mix too.
There's some concern, man for a lot of these guys
who are draft eligible who have the ability to come back,
and there's guys who aren't draft eligible, that they have
exhausted their eligibility and they have not looked like well,

(17:01):
I think a lot of teams that hope they look
for this season.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Miles Garrett is unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
He's five away, five sacks away from the single season record,
and he just continues to do it every single year.
He's going to be a first ballot Hall of Famer.
And whatever argument there was about who's the best pass
rusher in the NFL, that's over, Like it's not even
like that, that's not even a discussion anymore, not.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
Saying something because Mike is a beast man. He's a beast.
He was impacting the gang too.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
There's a lot of other guys that throughout there for.

Speaker 5 (17:36):
Mic right, well, a lot of other guys.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Well, I mean, like what had all.

Speaker 5 (17:42):
White white guys that is that?

Speaker 4 (17:49):
You know, I was paying attention to that yesterday and
and some for some strange reason, why did I think
y'all would bring that up today? Like Hutchinson, he's back,
he's healthy, he's doing a whole lot of commercial he's
getting sacks.

Speaker 5 (18:03):
Yeah, y'all, you two we are on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
You know, that's what some.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
People say, so, wait, you want us to overlook some
of the other guys who've got sacks because they're white.

Speaker 5 (18:15):
Non racist.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
I think you guys what I think y'all hype it
up a whole lot more because.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
You just say, okay, you didn't let me finish, like
Brian Burns is obviously up there in sacks this season,
like he's done a good job. Like not white, but
he's up there.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Okay, what you're up there? You bought it. You bought
a couple of moments.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
You bought a couple of moments to be able to
switch it up and throw out the ones that you're
thrown out right now, that's fine, that's fine, But I
know what y'all was referencing when y'all did that.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
Don't don't try to switch it up.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
A little more.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Sorry about that. You know, we're trying to celebrate whatever
wins we can get here.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
This doesn't really make any sense. We started the conversation
off about how great Miles Garrett is. Jonas happens to
recognize it for some reason.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
Who, by the way, knock somebody out over him feeling
like he was called something that was out of his
whole you know, Yeah, situation.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
I was just trying to acknowledge the fact that I
think TJ. Watt just had a sacked last yesterday that
surpassed is it JJ?

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Yeah, JJ calling that game.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Oh yeah, that's what I thought.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
So they knew it was coming, of course.

Speaker 5 (19:24):
Well, well it's all good.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Well I do know this.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
We're brought to what do you know, get tools that
perform at the highest level on every job without compromise.
When you shot Makeita at the home depot and the
job calls for the best calling, Makita built to be
the best available at the home depot, how pros get
more done?

Speaker 3 (19:42):
All right, So we're going to.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
Have the use what's the season record, by.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
The way, twenty two and a half?

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Believe twenty two.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
I think that was TJ.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
Wall right, Like, like Miles Garrett can shattered that record
this year, right, Yeah, he's five away at eight. Yeah,
he was doing five in the game. Six games to go.
Yeah he should be able to Wow, he shouldn't. That's
pretty interesting. So he's on a historic run.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Defensive Player of the Year odds he's a minus eight hundred,
so that's over as well too. So great year for
Miles Garrett. Awful year for the Brown perfect time and yeah,
he does have perfect timing. By the way, we will
have the usuals coming up later on. Pete Prisco is
going to stop by an hour three of the program,
and he's always fun to have a conversation or two with,

(20:29):
depending on which quarterback he wants to air out. We're
also going to have the leftovers. Who've got our FSR IR,
We've got in case you missed it, all of it
is yours here on this three hour extravaganza up next.
Though somebody saved their season potentially in the NFL yesterday.
We'll tell you who that is right here on FSR.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
But right now it is time for our tire rack
play of the day. Winston pumps his right leg, takes
the snap play fake. They run an hand around for Rowshowsky,
who's gonna throw it, but there's no He does throw.

Speaker 6 (21:55):
It down the weft side line for Winston, who makes
the captain of fifteen James.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
For the touchdown.

Speaker 6 (22:03):
Holy cow, oh Showsky with a touchdown past double all people.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Jamis Winston Giants Radio Network on the call.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
That is your tire rack play of the Day.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
For over forty years, ti Rak has been helping customers

Shipped fast and free back by Free Road has a
protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation, tire
rack dot com, the way tire buying should be.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Jamis Winston out there dealing and still losing.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
Almost pulled it off.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Yeah yeah, he looked good man. Yeah, that was fun.
A couple of fun plays in there. Kafka kind of
losing things up there on the offense. It was nice.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
And then you had the Kansas City Chiefs saved their season.
They figured it out, they pulled it out there against
the Indianapolis Colts.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
It looked bad for.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
A while, trailing by eleven with about nine minutes left,
and somehow, some way of the Kansas City Chiefs have
their season and we'll march on trying to make.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
A run of this thing.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
I have no idea, no idea why the Colts stopped
playing like drop eight coverage. You know, they were only
rushing three for a majority of that game and just
dropping guys out, keeping a spy out for Patrick in
Casey left the pocket. And then it just so happened
when the Chiefs started to come back, like they start
changing things up, getting more aggressive, playing more man, and

(23:27):
then the big plays started to come. I just it
was so odd to me why the Colts felt like
they needed to do something other than what they'd been
doing their entire game defensively.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
And it's a good team, but those are the things
that you know will cost you and in the end,
and you can't make you can't make those types of
errors where you're giving a team like the Kansas City
Chiefs an opportunity to be able to eke a victory out.
And it's you know, it's it's one of those things

(24:02):
where the Colts, whatever it is that led to them,
you know, losing that game, they they need to they
need to figure it out. I mean, they got blanked
in the fourth quarter, and and and that seemed to
be where Kansas City kind of spat up on offense.

(24:24):
You know, maybe it was the desperation. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
It definitely seemed must must win, must must get it
done for the Chiefs. But I don't know.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
I still I didn't come away from that game feeling
like Kansas City. It just I know, I know, we
feel like with the weapons that they they have, that
this this should be a team that's probably better than
what they they are, what they're showing, and yet they're not.

(24:56):
I just don't I know we talk about how special
Patrick Mahomes is, but I feel like the gap is
closed and it's closing on Patrick Mahomes as well.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
I don't I don't know that his reign. What do
you mean, what's that?

Speaker 2 (25:14):
And I said, what do you mean, like the gap
or like, what do you mean by that?

Speaker 4 (25:17):
Like in terms of how much better he is than
other quarterbacks in the league. Like, I know, he's he's
a special dude, but this offense, it's it's not this
is this is now a second year where this offense
isn't very impressive.

Speaker 5 (25:39):
I'm not blown away by it.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
And maybe that doesn't mean anything because I'm not an
offensive offensive savant or anything like that. But I'm just
not blown away once again by what this offense presents
and knowing, you know, Patrick Mahomes being who he is
and having a reputation they just play in the Super Bowl. Okay,
I get it, but I just don't. I'm not blown

(26:03):
away by this Kansas City Chiefs team anymore. And I
think the gap of what Patrick Mahomes as a player
represents in terms of his dominance of how good he is,
I think it's closing. As a matter of fact, I'm
not so sure. I mean, I would say Matthew Stafford
is the best quarterback in the league right now.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
I mean maybe not overall. Maybe you don't look at
the overall body of work. I get that, ex picks.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
I'm just saying I don't, damn, I don't know that
I look at Patrick Mahomes as being the best quarterback
in the league right now.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
I don't know. I mean, maybe that's how landish to say,
but I don't feel like it is. Well.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
I mean, look, Josh All won the MVP last year.
I think matt Stafford, to your point, will win the
MVP this year. He is playing the best football of
any quarterback I think in the league. I also think
it would help if Mahomes was throwing to Devonte Adams
and Pookakako and all that. But I digress. Look clearly,
you know, ever since Tyreek Hill left, their offense has

(27:07):
looked different. There's been times where they I feel like
they've been able to He's been able to have those
big years. Twenty twenty two, I think he threw for
over five thousand yards. You know that was an outlier,
but teams just aren't gonna let him do what he's
done in the past and chuck the ball all over
the field. It's just it's not gonna happen. And it's
one of the reasons why I bring up the whole

(27:28):
drop eight coverage because in that that's the case. It's tough.
You know, it's gonna be tough to go throw the
football and create the big plays and have that sort
of productivity. It's it's why I kind of keep going
back to they need to run the football. Now, I
will say this, it looked like they made a much
more concentrated effort at running the football yesterday. I mean

(27:48):
Kreem Hunt alone had thirty carries over one hundred yards,
which you know, again that was I think a little
bit by design because of what the Colts were giving them.
Like if you're gonna lose, the Chiefs lose to with
someone else than Patrick Mahomes beating you now ultimately ended
up being you know, Mahomes, you know, finding away there
in the second half when he needed to. But I

(28:09):
still look at what the Chiefs were attempting to do
and think, Okay, they're on the right track and realizing
that he can't be everything for this offense and expect
them to win every single week. They got to have
some help. You know. The Chiefs defense stopped Jonathan Taylor.
They put this thing on Daniel Jones, so I thought,
you know, played well to a degree, but when they
needed some stops, they couldn't get him. So I just

(28:31):
this to me is the difference between a team that
has been there, done that understands how to go win
those tight, tough games and how to how to you know,
understand how to come back in the fourth quarter and
be able to win that game in overtime, versus a
team that's, you know, having success this season that was
a bit of a surprise, like it's still learning how
to win some of those games on the road in

(28:52):
different ways.

Speaker 5 (28:54):
Do you think they would make the playoffs?

Speaker 2 (28:56):
The Chiefs?

Speaker 5 (28:57):
God, I hope.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
So yeah, I hope. So I don't want to watch
them the crap that we've got right now.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
And I'm gonna take this up with Pete Prisco because
I know he's a Jaguars guy. Yeah, They're tough to watch, man,
It's just I don't want to waste my time watching
the Jags in the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
No offense to our friends in London.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
First in the Chargers in the division. Yeah, I'm sorry
and upset some Chargers fans and that they're tough to watch. Man,
It's like every week it's a roller coaster. Who's going
to show up? I mean I would I would rather
trust Patrick Mahomes Andy Reid in the playoffs and this
Chiefs team than a Chargers team that got bludgeoned by
the same Jacksonville Jaguars team that Jonas is talking about.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
So the Chargers and Jaguars have the five and six seed?
Can we swap them out for the Steelers and the
Chiefs get Rogers and Mahomes in the playoffs?

Speaker 5 (29:45):
Mean that, like, who's NF is clearly the stronger side
this year? Correct? Would y'all say that?

Speaker 2 (29:53):
No? I mean, i'd say, you guys think.

Speaker 4 (29:55):
The stronger, the stronger AFC teams are the stronger ones.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
Okay, what are you saying? Like the top two teams
I think are obviously the Rams the Eagles. You know
they lost yesterday. I'd still put them up there.

Speaker 5 (30:08):
I think they're concerned. I wouldn't put them.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
Who else are you putting up there?

Speaker 5 (30:13):
For the nisty in the NFC?

Speaker 4 (30:15):
I mean, if you're if we're taking a critical look
at them. I'm I'm gonna say to Rams, I'm gonna
say the Rams, and I'm gonna say the even though
they're not even number one in their own division, I
say the Packers. I think the Packers are legitimately strong

(30:37):
and what they're going to bring to the table, and
I think they'll end up a top of.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
He saw.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Listen, Mike is on the side of the ball. That's
the best part of that team. Because the Packers offense
is whoa sometimes it's.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
At times, but so is the Eagles. So is the Eagles.
But okay, but to that point, are are you believers? Like?

Speaker 5 (30:59):
Are we believes? And the Bills.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
Okay, So there's questions I think about a lot of
those teams, right like Bills.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
You get asked that question about the Ravens, that question
about the Tolts. The Ravens have limped into the number
one position, the A F s nor Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
But there's still a lot of they've limped. The Patriots
are good football team. They continually impress.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
I'm just not buying the Patriots like I think it's
a magical run. I think it's an amazing run for
for uh, for Rapes, I'm just not I'm not buying
that stock, not for this season, I'm not.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
I mean, I didn't list many teams in the NFC
besides the Rams, I.

Speaker 5 (31:38):
Know, after I started trying to look at them.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Right, yeah, I would say we're where the NFL looks
like there's a ton of parody and outside of a
maybe not even a handful of teams. I don't know
how you can feel overly confident about any of these
teams once we get in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Like New England's the one seed in the a f
C and all credit to them, they've won nine straight
games and that's nothing to kind of fart at.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
But well, LeVar just farted on him.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
I'm just not buying their stock, that's all.

Speaker 5 (32:13):
But they look good.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
I mean they look good, the way they're winning, the
way they're playing. I mean, I just don't buy it
for this year.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
I feel like the Browns aren't mathematically eliminated.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
They I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
Yeah they could make it, really yeah, they could make
a run. They can make a run.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Baby, they're so far away.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
Hell no, I don't know away.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
Check your.

Speaker 5 (32:38):
You can't gonna keep him down. He ain't gonna fail.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
He got those bagets around his neck.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
It's perfect timing. It's perfect timing. It's perfect timing. It's dang,
they get that bad. Yeah, it's perfect time.

Speaker 5 (33:00):
Check your time piece, Dan, it's perfect time.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
But I also know, man, Yeah, I don't. I don't
know that that's actually gonna happened. But there's a lot
of periods. It's a good thing for the NFL. I
thing like you'd probably be only shocked if the Rams
lost at this point in the season, Like if the
Rams weren't playing in the NFC Championship Game.

Speaker 4 (33:21):
I would be shocked if k C doesn't make the playoffs,
if the playoffs started today, They're not in right, No,
that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Plenty of time left.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
Casey's sitting in the ten seed.

Speaker 8 (33:38):
You mentioned them that nobody wants to see.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Yeah, nobody wants to watch either.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
Coop, here we go the.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
Bronx, watch out dark Horse.

Speaker 5 (33:51):
Your Broncos.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
They're going to have the number one seed first round.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
By Yeah, what was.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Your you had an issue with Sean Payton? What was
your issue with bo Nicks? He doesn't let him, he
doesn't cut him loose. Wasn't that Bobie bo Yeah, Like.

Speaker 5 (34:13):
What exactly do you mean by that?

Speaker 8 (34:15):
Like he's got him, you know, kind of just calling
a bunch of screen passes, like let's let it rip.
He's had issues throwing the ball down the field though, correct,
that's been.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
That's because Troy Franklin just drops a bunch of balls.
The problem.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
They are on top in the West though, I mean,
it is what it is. They're the team. I just
think this is interesting year, man, because I don't look
at the Ravens as being a good team, and yet
they're up top in the in the AFC North, which
is crazy. I don't even like the AFC North this year.

(34:55):
And then you look at the other the Bills. The
Bills are losing momentum. Like I feel like they got
a hole in their balloon. I don't know what it is,
but they just don't look good to me like that.
That looks like that's a team on the blink. And
you go down the list of them. I mean, the
Colts gave one up to it. They had it, they
had it what they needed and you could keep talking

(35:16):
positively about them, but they didn't win the big game.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
That's a big game.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
Yeah, they needed to do that. I think to make
you feel more confident about them.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
Probably it would be nice.

Speaker 4 (35:26):
It would be nice for some of these teams to
not have those those you know, breakdown meltdown moments where
you could definitively look at a team and be like.

Speaker 5 (35:36):
Yep, this is the team.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
I don't know that there's one team that you can
sit there and say, I mean, listen, the Rams did
what they needed to do on national television last night.
A lot of people got an opportunity to see why
people are talking so highly of Matthew Stafford and even
the team altogether. I mean it looked like that. I
mean it was such a celebration. I mean, you had
the Aaron Donald bobblehead night. Aaron Donald looked like everybody

(36:00):
his uncle, even if you're older, even if you're older
at anyway, like you just look like he's everybody's favorite uncle.
They they look pretty impressive, like almost like like that's
the team. You say, Okay, they're going to make a
real run for it this year. But the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker 5 (36:17):
That was that.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
I feel like the Eagles are hard to watch, like
they have a good defense, and I enjoyed watching their
defense play.

Speaker 5 (36:27):
Away that game.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Last yesterday. I mean the sequence where Dallas got two
fumbles back to back and got nothing out of that,
Oh God, was a surefire sign that they should have
The Eagles should have won that game or found a
way of winning that game. The fact that they didn't
after Dallas could not figure out a way of getting
in the end zone and neither and neither of those
two drives, I just I don't even know how you

(36:51):
Calvis are so lucky.

Speaker 5 (36:54):
Listen.

Speaker 4 (36:56):
I don't know how you don't have a more dominant offense,
which they've been good, they've been good. I just don't
understand how you don't have one of the most dynamic,
dominant offenses when you have Dak Dak Prescott, which I
think Dak plays really really good football. But then you
you're talking about Pickings and lamb as your your receiving corps,

(37:21):
and you got like a couple other receivers that are
pretty good too, But those two in particular, I mean,
those are bona fide ones, bona fide ones, and big plays.
I mean, obviously Pickings made the big play at the end.
I got a question for Blandino on that that play.
If y'all don't take it first. But I just, you know,

(37:43):
to me, I feel like the Cowboys should be a
better team, but they're not. They're not a better team.
They're not a reliable team. And it's not a team
that to me, you should you should buy the stock.

Speaker 5 (37:58):
It's not a stock buying team.

Speaker 4 (37:59):
So I just I don't know, man, And I don't
like the Eagles like I love their defense, but I
think the cracks and their offense the warts as you
have said, Jonas, Yeah, yeah, they're showing the warts on
this offense are shown.

So apparently we have some some drama to report here.
Jordan Hudson is apparently suing Pablo Torre. According to an
Instagram post that she made on Sunday, she just said ps,
I'm suing you and then put Torre's handle in her post, Paublo.
Torre responded back on x a different platform and said, Hi,

(39:51):
I assume this means you're declining my invitation to be
a guest on the I guess this podcast. So I'm
not sure what grass she has to sue. Oh well, I.

Speaker 4 (40:01):
Mean, anybody could sue for anything, but I just was
wanted curious as to did she cite a reason, state
a reason why suing.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
She did not?

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Okay, she's just gonna sue Pabulatory for not liking him
or something.

Speaker 8 (40:15):
I mean, you know she's he's constantly reporting on her
and the U n C and I mean slander.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
I guess, I don't know what the I'm with her.

Speaker 5 (40:26):
I'm here.

Speaker 4 (40:28):
Oh well, there's other opportunities for other people to do
that too, with recent.

Speaker 5 (40:34):
Uh social posts. I mean, I was just saying that
slander is real out here. Man.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
That's a fair point.

Speaker 4 (40:46):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (40:47):
I donnother quick story for you, uh Metal World Peace.
Apparently our aka run our Test is getting into the
fighting game. I did not know this, but apparently he's
a a fight manager. He just signed a rising boxing
star named jordiil Booker, who won his twenty fourth fight
by knockout in August.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
Brady, what are your thoughts on this?

Speaker 5 (41:09):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (41:10):
I'm not falling for this trap. I just said nice,
I'm excited about it.

Speaker 3 (41:14):
Eat that.

Speaker 2 (41:15):
