All right, so.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
Here we go.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Let's just roll this on out. Let's just roll out
the red carpet in your ears, and let Brady Quinn
tell you all about how great Quinn's wins were this weekend.
All right, just go right.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
We don't need to get into that month to do
it like that.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I mean, listen, we had people out there that were
tweeting about it, saying they rode heavy this week on
your picks And what was the final tally in fifteen.

Speaker 6 (01:45):
Games based on when I chose those games and my picks?

Speaker 4 (01:49):
We were eleven and four.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
So it was a very very good week Quins Whens.

Speaker 7 (01:55):
But if you were going for that win and win
like y'all we're talking about for the million dollars and
all that stuff, you missed it about four.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Yeah, well out of fifteen that's not bad.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
I mean, I'm just saying that four causeded them.

Speaker 6 (02:09):
It did, and in fact, there were a couple that
weren't even close. Now the um votseek line, actually that
one went down to seventeen. One of the stats I
was unaware of was apparently Kirby smart in these games
versus lesser opponents this time of year, he doesn't even
try to cover like he's now fourteen and fifteen on

(02:31):
some of these gigantic spreads versus lesser teams, like this
week Georgia played Charlotte so clearly didn't cover the forty
three and a half points spread even though they largely
could have.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Cow got stomped out. Some college football.

Speaker 6 (02:43):
News there, Stanford, who's not a very good football team,
ended up pulling off the big victory in the big Game,
and Justin Wilcox has been fired as their head coach
at Cow, who's done a pretty darn good job all
things considered. Tough place to be able to coach and
get it done, but anyway, a crazy world in college football, though,
I'd say this past weekend only because the conference championship

(03:06):
weekend like picture has gotten a little bit more clear
in some ways than then in other conferences not so much.
The Big Twelve looks like it's going to be Texas
Tech BYU. There's still an outside shot for Arizona State
and Utah to find their way in, but they need
some losses in that final weekend, and it is the
Big twelve, so you never know what's going to happen.

(03:27):
Looking at the SEC, it looks like it's most likely
going to be Texas A and M playing against Georgia
when it's all said and done, Old Miss Alabama on
the outside looking in. However, that could change again if
if there's some potential losses in that final week of
games and then the one that's like the most muddy
and kind of the craziest now, especially with pitt which

(03:48):
you know patn Nordwsey said it last week when they
played Notre Dame.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
They really didn't need that game. It's was not an
ACC game.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
As long as they took care of business versus Georgia Tech,
they'd still be in the hunt for a playoff spot
in the Accampionship. And he was not wrong because they
beat the breaks it felt like off of Georgia Tech
and they are now in position to potentially play for
the ACC Championship and we very well could get a
three loss team once again representing the ACC in the
College Football playoff. But it's now down to and this

(04:18):
is wide open. That's why it's awesome because it comes
down to this upcoming week, SMU, Pit, Virginia, and Georgia Tech.
All four of those teams could very well play off
for the ACC Championship in a playoff spot.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
SMU has been playing much better football off late.

Speaker 6 (04:33):
Pit obviously big win over Georgia Tech, and then you've
got Virginia, who's got to beat VA Tech.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
I think they still get in with that win. They
might need a little bit of help.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
But Georgia Tech and Miami the highest ranked ACC team
on the outside looking in, so kind of crazy scenario
here that's going to play out this next week in
the ACC for the a SEC Championship. And then the
last thing I'll say is the Heisman conversation. At some
point people have to look at a trend and realize

(05:03):
there might be something to this. Do you know every
ten years of running back wins the Heisman, So ten
years ago Derrick Henry run it for Alabama. Ten years
before that, Reggie Bush won it, and you keep going
back in ten year increments for like sixty or seventy years.
It just so happens a running back wins the Heisman,
And I don't know that everyone's gonna say, I'm biased

(05:26):
to whatever. Jeremiah Love is the best player in college football.
He should win the Heisman this year. You know, I've
heard all sorts of different arguments against well, look what
you did versus the top the first two opponents. I'm like, well,
first off, you know, I understand they lost those games.
He barely touched the football in the Miami game, So
I don't know why you're holding that against him. The

(05:47):
Tech sanam getting, he had over one hundred and forty
scrimmage yards two touchdowns. That's pretty damn good in the
game that Notre Dame probably should have won. And then
the rest of the season, he's budgeting teams. I mean,
he had eight carries for one hundred and seventy one
yards and three such stuns this past week. Like, I
don't care what Syracuse is like for eight carries to
have that sort of production every week, if there's some

(06:07):
sort of highlight reel play, I just it seems very
clear to me he's the best player in college football.
He should win the Heisman. And he's been sharing carries
like That's another thing that's interesting when you look.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
At how like what his workload's like.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
He didn't play any of the second half this past week,
so that there's times where he's sharing carries throughout the
course of the game, where on other teams his stats
would be even that much more.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
I just I look at and think it's it's.

Speaker 6 (06:39):
Probably gonna go to a quarterback, because that's what we've
done without award. Fernando Mendoz is the betting favorite. Julian
Sayin's up there now too. But there's not a better
player in college football than Jeremiah Love.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Yeah, but is Fernando Mendoz have been so good that
you just ignore what Jeremiah Love has done.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
I would say to Fernando Mendoz's credit, he's gotten you know,
a couple of different instances where he've had he's had
Heisman moments, right, you can't deny him. You know what
he's done in happy valid like that final play was incredible,
The drive was incredible, him throwing a pick and then
responding an organ you know, very similar fashion like he

(07:16):
and he does have a statistical argument where he's been
really efficient, really good this year, you know now, and honestly,
he's been one of the biggest reasons and they're a
really good team. But he's been one of the biggest
reasons they've been as good as they've been. So, you know, again,
as Jeremy Love the best player? Yeah, now will he
get the award? Probably not because we tend to again

(07:36):
give it to quarterbacks, and especially quarterbacks who are you know,
on an undefeated team ranked number two in the country.
But I think there's a big time argument to be
made for Love and what he's done. And this is
just like a Notre Dame bias take. This is like
watching all these different running backs. There's no one else
I watch, and it reminds me of Reggie Bush like

(07:59):
and when when touched the ball, you felt like every
single time he had a chance to score.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
And that's how it feels like when you watch Jeremiah Love.

Speaker 7 (08:08):
So I praise this, I'll tell you that. I mean,
you pulled five out of your hat and make that comparison. Listen,
I've seen them. I've seen them play. I've seen him
play in person too. He broke my heart, you know,
with a bum knee. Yeah, Listen, I've watched them closely
for for multitude of reasons. Obviously, Jay One is a

(08:31):
former Penn State running backs coach. So I've been watching
the running backs pretty closely this year for it for
Notre Dame, because since he's gotten there, and you know,
there's multiple guys on the team that that I have
relations to, so I've watched them and.

Speaker 5 (08:49):
Yeah he has.

Speaker 7 (08:51):
I mean, you guys called Ashton Gent last year and
said watch how special he is, because going into the season,
I wasn't really paying attention to an Ashton and Gent.
This year I was planting paying attention to uh, to
Jordan's well, not Jordan Love, but Jeremiah Love.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
And yeah, I mean he's uh.

Speaker 7 (09:11):
He does bring a lot of skills set, he brings
breakaway speed. He is elusive, but he's pretty strong. It's
interesting because he's probably in some in some regards, he's
probably a stronger runner than than the comparison to to
Reggie Bush. You know, Reggie was elusive, he was slippery,

(09:32):
he had coast to coast speed, but you know the strength,
you know you went with with Lyndale White for for
the heavy heart hart yards that was needed for for
you know, for an offense. Then they're deep in that
running backs room. I Notre Dame, but Jeremiah Love can

(09:53):
make tough runs too. In between the tackle runs. And
that's what I really like about him is his ability
to be able to He's like he he doesn't go
down easily, and it's not because he's just got good balance.
I mean, he's a pretty you could say he's an
explosive power back, which is you know, usually you don't

(10:13):
get so many dimensions to just one, you know, one
style of back. But I wouldn't say you're being biased.
Is I guess ultimately what my conclusion would be. And
they would be easy to say that you are being biased.
But I mean, while I'm not a fan all like that,

(10:33):
you know, just because it's Notre Dame and I just can't.
You know, our guy just broke broke the all time
Russian record in state college this past weekend. You know,
I am biased. I am biased towards k Tron. Yeah,
k Tron and Nick Singleton and congrats to k Tron.
But but I will say, as a fan of football

(10:54):
in general, you know love is he is a beast.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
I'll give him not here's a beast.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Not for nothing. Former guest of this show as well too,
That's true, Jeremiah.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Yeah, we haven't had on any Penn Seer remix.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
Can I give you, Can I give you an absurd
stat for the games game this past weekend where they
just wipe the mat with Syracuse seven to seven.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
They didn't run an offensive.

Speaker 6 (11:19):
Play, and they were up twenty one nothing within about
a little more than five minutes of the first court
they game. I don't know how many people watch, so
let me just let me just explain what took place.
All Right, Syracuse started off with the football. They threw
a pick six, all right, John Strowman, I believe had.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
A pick six.

Speaker 6 (11:38):
They get the ball back, they get a punt. It's
a block punt return for a touchdown. They get the
ball back, they throw another pick six. Notre Dame ran
five offensive plays in the entire first quarter.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
It was thirty five nothing.

Speaker 6 (11:56):
That's how big of an ass kicking that game was
for a lot of people who are like, what is
happening over there? And this is not like a Syracuse
team that I understand. They've struggled this year, especially since
Steve Vangelli, the former no Ordity end quarterback, got hurt.
But that was an avalanche that I've never seen to
start a game before.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
That was absolutely absurd.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
The other stat and I texted Brady about this because
I can't even believe this is real. Kansas State ran
the ball for four hundred and seventy two yards against
Utah the end.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
But against Utah, against Utah who like probably predominantly plays
post I safety, extra kind in the boxes stop the run.
And on top of that, there were ken say was
a seventeen and a half point dog. It's ridiculous. I mean,
obviously they still found a way of losing that game
even though they had no business. Devin dan Pierre just
put that team on his back to come back and

(12:56):
win that and keep Utah's hopes alive. And look, I'm
gonna say this, and I don't care if you saw
fans get upset by it.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
This is that's not a playoff team. I'm sorry.

Speaker 6 (13:05):
Like, I know, there's still technically in the hunt for
the Big twelve and the ranked high. They don't have
that many quality wins and it's just kind of like
we talked about the Chargers, like, don't want to see
him the playoffs. I don't want to see Utah in
the playoffs either. I'm sorry. So there's that, Well.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
There is that.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
You guys said, uh, Nebraska was was that? Was? That?
Was that Tom Selleck you had on set for big
new kickoff?

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Brady? Was that was that?

Speaker 6 (13:34):
Jacob was Jacob Rodriguez, that's the linebacker for Texas Tech's.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Got a sweet stash.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Yeah, he does hell of a.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
And uh beat Nebraska?

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Who rule? They're playing with their backup quarterback. I mean,
I know you guys are too got to.

Speaker 7 (13:52):
Play the games and we are playing with our backup quarterback.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
How was the scene there college?

Speaker 6 (14:01):
They were really excited about that this morning, very excited.
You seem very excited about it.

Speaker 5 (14:08):
I was.

Speaker 7 (14:09):
I mean, I was happy to see let's do really
well for certain. And it was a game where it
was like you're looking at it like, all right, Matt
Rules coming in here with you know, with his team,
and there's obvious conversations about, you know, if Matt Rule
would be pursued or even brought in as the coach.

(14:30):
You know, Nebraska steps up and does does what they
did with the extension. So yeah, it was a and
I got a chance to see him and talk to
him too about the way.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
So that was nice.

Speaker 6 (14:39):
Let's let's go ahead and throw this question out there.
Did did you guys kind of dodge a bolt then
by hiring him, because I feel like you'd be hiring
someone who might have a ceiling too, like if you
felt like you moved on from James Franklin. And I'm
just I'm looking at what's transpired that Nebraska.

Speaker 7 (14:55):
I mean, since I always have to throw that out
at you guys, like and that you know, at you
in particular honestly Q like well, because I you know,
I like your opinion, but you know, she was kind
of like really an expert on this type stuff and
not no offense, bro, Just you know, don't take offense

(15:16):
to it, because I don't want to put you on
the fine in fine court, you know what I mean,
Like stay focused here, but you know I try to
stay out of the conversation for a few different reasons.
But after this weekend, right like after all of the
hype and the conversations that have taken place for the

(15:41):
favor of Matt rule, you asked the question you just asked,
which is a legitimate question. I would add to that,
in looking at where the talent pool of coaches are
right now that would be available to bring into Stay College,
what is what would be you or approach or what

(16:01):
would be your thought process, because you know, the the
rally cry, you know, and the kind of the support
for you know, the current inter Realm head coach there
has gotten really loud, and a lot of people make
the argument based off of saying, you know, are you
going to be able to go out there based off

(16:21):
of what you just said? Logically, is there a coach
out there that's an upgrade from from James Franklin right now?

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (16:29):
I think that's the hard part is if unless I mean,
there's a few different ways of looking at this, if
you feel like Terry Smith is really building that much momentum,
who's a pen stator who understands the landscape, and you'd
like to go with him during you know, for maybe
a year or two get a sense for where you're headed.
I mean, look, the buyo wasn't as big as you thought,

(16:51):
so you didn't have to lose quite as much money
in that respect, and so financially speaking, like you weren't
taking hit LSU's gonna take, you know, l who's gonna
take a fifty.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
Four million dollar hit?

Speaker 6 (17:00):
Yours could have been with forty nine, So financially speaking,
like if you wanted to go with Terry Smith in
the next year, the next that's that can work. The
problem is if I was recruiting against Penn State, I
would be able to recruit against that only because you know,
what type of strong, long term commitment are you going
to give Terry Smith? You know, do you believe in

(17:22):
him that much off of a short term interim stint
who's been with the program for a long time. I mean,
it's no disrespect to him, but there are there was
also a lot of other names that.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
Were thrown up there.

Speaker 6 (17:34):
You guys are thrown up, Urban Meyer people thrown up,
you know, Lane Kip people throwing all kinds of names.
You know, the Penn State fan base and alumni is huge,
and so they're with the highre there has to be
some element of satisfaction to the fan base. Like Brent
Key to Georgia Tech head coach. If he goes and
wins the a SEC Championship and goes and ends up

(17:56):
playing the playoff, that'd be great, But unfortunately it doesn't
look like after this weekend that's gonna happened.

Speaker 8 (18:00):
Now.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
You know, Eli Drinkwitz has done a great job in Missouri.

Speaker 6 (18:03):
That's maybe he would make about there, but well, he's
the betting odds on favorite. But you know, we we've
talked about Brian Harline. You know, he would be a
guy that would make a lot of sense, a young,
up and coming coach who obviously has been able to
recruit a position that Penn State's desperately needed. Now that
isn't what I feel like the Penn State offense needs

(18:24):
to become, but that's what how some people feel. You know,
Bob Chesney, he's the head coach down at James Madison.
James Madison is a damn good football team. You look
at what Indiana just got in Kurt Signetty, who was
you know, previously at James Madison, and look where that
program's at. So maybe you look at Bob Chesney and
say he would be making a lot of sense to
come up here and then be able to do what
he's done at James Madison or throughout his career forgets

(18:46):
Penn State. To me, it's kind of all over the board,
and only because it's it felt like it's dragged on
for so long.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
So that good.

Speaker 7 (18:58):
Because now the conversation is being made as if there
wasn't a plan that was was connected to you know,
the departure of James Franklin.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
That's what it feels like.

Speaker 6 (19:10):
And it feels like there was a plan though, and
that plan might have went out the door when a
couple of different.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Guys extension with an extension.

Speaker 6 (19:17):
Yeah, yeah, so and that's fine, right, Like that's gonna happen.
There's gonna be guys who are looking in and said, rather
stay where I'm at. You know, I think with what
where a Matt rules at at Nebraska?

Speaker 4 (19:27):
You know, it maybe.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
Feels more appreciated there, whereas if you go to Penn State,
you're immediately expected not only to win, but win those
big games that James Franklin couldn't like. That's the reality
of the decision that a lot of people who are
looking at the Penn stage job have to make, is
can I go in there.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
And can I win those big games immediately?

Speaker 6 (19:46):
Because otherwise it's gonna be the same narrative that James
Franklin battled And it's not an easy place to recruit
to only because you're damn airport. And I will keep
harping on this point. And I had a conversation with
Erbin Meyer about this, and we both agreed that would
literally be one of the first things I would do

(20:06):
as a head coach at Penn State. I would lobby
my ass off to extend that runway and happy value,
allow bigger planes to get in and out of that thing.
So our teams not driving to Harrisburg, so people coming
from long ways away aren't having to fly into Harrisburg.
You know, more options, more opportunity to get players there
and their families in a much easier capacity. Like people

(20:28):
don't think that stuff matters. It a one hundred percent matters.
Kids can't get there if they can't find a way
of flying there for a recruiting visit. So I know
you've probably sat there and said, like this is like
you're overblowing this.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
It is not.

Speaker 6 (20:42):
I've talked to numerous coaches about it, and that is
the one thing that people always come away and say,
tough place to get to. So it's a tough place
to recruit.

Speaker 7 (20:52):
It's never been relevant until now, is what I would say.
It's never been relevant because more often and then not,
the players that are playing for Penn State aren't coming
from places where you need to fly in from far away,
and so but nonetheless it is a conversation and it

(21:13):
is something that has been talked about, you know, in
terms of what that looks like.

Speaker 6 (21:19):
For if you guys need to bring me on to
help lobby the state of Pennsylvania to whoever, I will
gladly jump on board to this because I'm so passionate
about it. For your fans for college football like it.
I know it sounds like a weird tangent to go on,
but I swear to you, like even the local economy

(21:40):
will be impacted by this and will benefit from this,
Like there are so many things that you can point to.
It's wild to me that a school as big as
Penn State, that has as much money as Penn State does,
has been blind to this.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
It's like everyone just kind of.

Speaker 5 (21:54):
Goes, I'm blind to it, not blind it.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
Okay, then here's what it says.

Speaker 6 (21:59):
Then make the change, Like you moved on from James Franklin,
move on to the dinky airport. You got d put
some of that NIML money into your damn airport because
that's that's what it needs.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
It is that's the university.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
Either that or keep the cafe open longer than an
hour and a half throughout that.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
Just so you know, Jonas can make movies up.

Speaker 7 (22:17):
They make it from uh you know, they they cook
it to.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
Order, by the way it does.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
Why was James Franklin fired? Was he fired because the
fan base was calling for it? Or was he fired
because they just thought that he had lost the locker room?
Because if what you're saying is correct, that hey, listen,
I'm curious see how many players who loved James Franklin
follow him to Virginia Tech. Then it feels like there

(22:46):
was a bit of a reaction to the fan base
that was not pleased with this performance in Big Games.

Speaker 7 (22:52):
I don't think it was fan base driven at all.
I wouldn't say it was fan base driven. I think
it was driven off of where this program is going,
what what the expectation that's being brought to the table
and and being being you know, I guess endorsed and

(23:13):
and and that I guess a very very aggressive way
by by our a d and they it was a
it was a far departure from what what direction this
this program was supposed to be going in.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
I'm sorry, right, but whoever they hire, if it's about
you know that they thought that there was going to
be somebody else that they were looking at it as that's.

Speaker 5 (23:40):
What makes this whole. That's why I asked the question
to Q.

Speaker 7 (23:42):
And that's why I think that makes this a complicated conversation,
because again, you you have an idea of what what
direction you you're probably thinking you want to go in
when you pull the trigger on making that move.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
And but I think.

Speaker 7 (23:57):
There's a lot of pressure that comes with that that movie,
because there literally are only two to three teams that
James Franklin couldn't be.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
So and that's why I wonder, so, now, if there's
two other candidates.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
You can't recruit like they can you damn Airport.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Let let's like, let's say it's it's Mike Elcho and
let's say it's, uh, it was Matt Rule. So basically,
what you're saying is, whoever you hire next, it's going
to be at best your third option.

Speaker 5 (24:26):
I don't know that to be true, well, but it
could be true.

Speaker 7 (24:31):
And and and to that point, even if it is
the first option, what is that What is that coach
bringing to the table, You know, that's different than what
Franklin brought to the table. What's interesting is is the
amount of criticism and scrutiny that was going towards James Franklin,
and then the the amazing amount of support and backlash

(24:53):
for Franklin being removed. It was so bipolar. Is very
interesting thing to watch how it all played out. And
then now you know there's the whole A lot of
the lettermen, like a ton of the lettermen, and a
lot of people that support Penn State want Terry Smith
to be the coach. But I'm just wondering, if you're

(25:17):
the ad and you have to make this higher, are
you are you making that higher based off of what
you said? Q Like you give it two years to
see what the landscape is? Die Like, No, it's not
give it two years. It's it's a win now mentality.
And if you're and if you yeah, and if you
make a decision like getting rid of James Franklin, why

(25:37):
wouldn't you give it two more years with James Franklin
If you're going to see what the landscape is versus
move on from James Franklin, You're bringing in a new
apparel partner, you have all these different things taking place
with the school. You don't want to just have a
hire where in two years it's like, yeah, we hired
him to buy time, to bridge the gap to a

(26:00):
better coach, Like Terry Smith is a fine coach.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
Terry Smith is an.

Speaker 7 (26:04):
Even finer man, by the way, and I'm a big
fan of him as a person and as a human being.
But from a from the business standpoint of it, if
you're taking a critical look at what takes place next,
I feel like there's a this is a hard position
to be in because what coach are you going to

(26:25):
get now? Not really one of those coaches that you
name really to me, moves the needle. It doesn't really
move the needle.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
That one for you. If you're willing to listen, God,
John Gruden.

Speaker 6 (26:40):
I would hire this, sure, John Gruden, and I would
give him a six year deal. Let him build this
thing up. The dude loves ball, loves coaching ball. He
would be different. He would be amazing with the media.
He would bring buzz, he would bring outside the box.
Thinking he's been out of enough to watch all this.

(27:00):
So I sit there and I look and I just say,
at this juncture, people can say whatever they want to
criticize this, But John Gruden, That's that's who I would
look at trying to bring.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
In Hm, damn right.

Speaker 7 (27:14):
I won't respond to that because I don't you know,
I don't know how to respond to it. But it's
an interesting that's an interesting a super Bowl man like
he's he's got a lot of and it's like, you
look at what he's done to rebuild kind of his
brand on social media and all that, and.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
Just I just I look at that.

Speaker 6 (27:31):
I've like, PennState would have so much buzz around them
if they did bring back Gruden, and and think about
how awesome.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
That would be to have that dude speaking about your program, I.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
Mean, and also what he would do to develop like
the young minds there in State College, much like Sesame
Street did. Because Sesame Street helped raise all of us.
And now it's our turn donate this holiday season at
sesame dot org because the world needs Sesame and Sesame
needs you. Two Pros and a Couple show here on

and subscribe. So we mentioned a little bit about the
AFC North. It's kind of underwhelming this year. The Baltimore
Ravens are now back in first with their win and

(29:43):
the Steelers loss. Elsewhere, the Bengals and Browns are tied,
and yet for some reason, Bengal fans really believe that
they actually have an opportunity at this thing. They don't.
Joe Burrow is uh, they don't TBD for Thursday, whether
or not he's gonna be able to give it a go.

(30:04):
I think most people thought that he was probably going
to play this past week, but you had a couple
of full days of practice and then they decided he's
not ready to go. So maybe on a short week
against Baltimore coming up on Thursday, maybe that was the
plan all along to bring it back out there. But
I just think that Cincinnati, and I think their fans
live in an alternate universe where they look at that

(30:26):
and say, even though we've got the same record as
the Browns. We could still make a run at this thing.
It's over. Enough's enough. We stop with the Shenanigans here.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
I mean, I know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 6 (30:40):
Sold a shot because I got my guys shouldre in there,
just first win.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
That's a good point.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
Just say it. If you're gonna say Cincinnati has.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
A shot, in check your risk.

Speaker 4 (30:53):
Come on, bar what you can't tell me Cleveland has
a shot.

Speaker 8 (30:56):
Yeah, yeah, Cleveland's and the races because it's timing. The
timing is right for them to make a rush.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
They got your door, Sanders. It's perfect time.

Speaker 8 (31:08):
He throws the ball against the Raiders, perfect time, some
bombs away in perfect They guess they can't hold him down.

Speaker 5 (31:17):
God's on his side. They gonna make a run. They
gonna make a run.

Speaker 8 (31:21):
They got a defense and they're gonna make a run
on offense.

Speaker 5 (31:26):
Defense.

Speaker 8 (31:27):
He's gonna be the coach of the year because the
turn around it's gonna be in your ear. Yeah, it's
perfect timing.

Speaker 5 (31:36):
It's perfect timing.

Speaker 8 (31:38):
They got mouths care and Dorsanders prime time was there
in the box. He was cheering them on. Because it's timing,
perfect timing. It's the Cleveland Brown. It's perfect timing.

Speaker 5 (31:56):
You all see it.

Speaker 3 (31:57):
I know, but I mean, at least it at least
they're realistic about where they are, Like they just understand that, Yeah, whatever,
we'll try sh it or And you know, we got
a great defensive player. He's a generational talent. But you know,
we're looking on to next year and the Bengals are
still rolling out this whatever thought in their mind that
they're going to make a run of this thing. If

(32:18):
it's a two team race, it's Baltimore Pittsburgh. As we
mentioned earlier, hopefully Pittsburgh grabs a wild drest.

Speaker 7 (32:24):
One got a spring to acl the other one got
a high ankle sprain.

Speaker 5 (32:29):
But they go win the race. Somebody going win that race.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
Though, Yeah, underwhelming.

Speaker 7 (32:36):
That's not impressive, is that the North It's not impressive
at all. Man three win teams, still in the run,
still in the seat of opportunity. That's just we were
having this conversation what three weeks ago, four weeks ago,
talking about the Baltimore Ravens, like and the odds were
in favor of them winning, and look where we're at

(32:57):
right now today.

Speaker 5 (32:59):
The Baltimore Ravens are number one in the AFC North
with six wins, that is I don't know.

Speaker 7 (33:08):
I think that's an indictment on that that division and
for it to have so many strong coaches, that is crazy.
That's crazy to me.

Speaker 4 (33:18):
They've won five in a row.

Speaker 6 (33:19):
They get the opportunity to down talking about Baltimore to
play Cincinnati, the potential with Joe Burrow, maybe he's able
to steimy this five game win streak. If not Burrow,
if he's not back, obviously Flack will go. But then
even Rogers. Maybe Rodgers will be back for their game
against the Steelers, which you think by and that game
is December seventh, he should be back by then, you

(33:41):
would think.

Speaker 4 (33:42):
But it's it's.

Speaker 6 (33:43):
A string of three divisional games in a row, now, Snaddy, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati,
and that'll largely dictate I think what ends up happening
in the division, because at that point in time, I
think we'd have a pretty good idea if Baltimore is
going to win the division at.

Speaker 7 (33:59):
That point, So yeah, I just Baltimore is going to
win the division. Yeah, and then it just is what
it is because nobody else is good enough to do it,
and they they're not even really good enough to do it, honestly,
and they're just going to be not good enough to
do it better than the other ones that aren't good
enough to do it, which as wild.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
We just got to get Pittsburgh in over Jacksonville or
the Chargers. That's really the whole goal here, and I
think as a community we should come together and try
and make that happen, because this is about entertainment and
the Chargers and the Jaguars are just not entertaining. Sorry
to Pete Prisco, who'll be with us here in about
twenty minutes, but it's just not the case. We need
some entertainment, man, We need, we need.

Speaker 6 (34:41):
I'm not sold that Houston can't make a run by
the way as a wild card.

Speaker 4 (34:44):
They look good and I think they would their fun.

Speaker 7 (34:47):
To watch, and they were good without their starting quarterback,
like that was an impressive victory without their starting guy,
and they look like they're going in the right direction.
I just I feel like these these big name teams
are like kind of coming up, like checking off the
disappointment box, man, Like I want to see guys like

(35:07):
really start to dominate, and we're looking at teams that
just aren't necessarily you know, what are the bills doing?

Speaker 3 (35:16):
Man, I would rather watch my wife have an affair
than see the Jags in the playoffs. I'm not kidding.
I mean.

Speaker 5 (35:28):
That's pretty extreme, Jonas, It's not that extreme.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
Do you see that game yesterday?

Speaker 7 (35:32):
They're brutal, not the game that the watch your wife
have an affair or whatever. Oh I almost cursed on
on radio. Wow that one almost People are not Lorena.
There is a Lorena Lorena that was that was not

(35:54):
Shador Sanders, Like, that was not a door Sanders the moment.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
It's just the whole thing is spicy.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
Man.

Speaker 11 (36:04):
Uh, you know I can kill y'all free, but god
dang that that just took place. Okay, well, yeah, if
you want to talk about spice, like, let's talk about
my people.

Speaker 5 (36:21):
Louisiana hot sauce. That's right.

Speaker 7 (36:23):
You know, when you talk about some Louisiana hot sauce,
you could throw that on anything you tailgate food because
it has that peppery peppers type of deal. You know,
it's satisfactor factory for your tailgate food.

Speaker 5 (36:37):
It's always funny. You can tell when I don't have
my script in front.

Speaker 7 (36:40):
Of I got caught off guards. No, no, it's good.
I do have it, but it's just so funny. How Yeah,
that was how Larina, that was interesting, all right. That
just kind of threw me off, caught me off guard.

Speaker 5 (36:59):
Anyway. The Hot Sauce is perfect.

Speaker 7 (37:01):
It's great balance and you can hit any tailgate food
with it, all right. It's a bold, handcrafted flavor. Make
sure you check out the original Louisiana Hot Sauce and bad.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
You so damn right.

Speaker 3 (37:14):

What do you think Pete Prisco is gonna have a
red ass about most today? Like if you had to
guess knowing him, it's a tough one.

Speaker 6 (38:42):
Probably Daniel Jones will somehow knock him, even though he
played well yesterday. That'll be on the docket Jones Atlanta
and the Falcons. They won, But he'll knock cousins. He'll
probably take a shot at Tyrod Taylor Becau. Remember he
got the start for the Jets, but they didn't make
a difference for their offense.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
Yeah, there's gonna be plenty to choose from because there
were some bad performances yesterday. So the Great p Prisco,
our resident red ass is yours to kick off our
