I guess my volume was down. My volume was a
little down. No, Am I good? Now? Am I good? Nice?
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Lavarrington?
Speaker 3 (01:37):
All right, Lavrington.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Stop Jonas.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
By the way, last night, in case you missed it,
Tuesday night maction.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
I love it, love it so much.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
You.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
Mass has potentially been the worst team in college football
this season, and it's not close. They went for a
clean sweet to twelve this season. I'm getting bludgeoned by
a foreign a boy and Green State team led by
one Eddie George is their head coach. My guy Drew
Piner at quarterback, although I'm not sure Piner actually played
(02:14):
last night. But yeah, the uh, the UMass team is
the worst football team I've seen it in quite some time.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Oh geez, really yeah, that bad, pretty bad, pretty bad.
I mean I think one of the highlights was they
showed a graphic of how Eddie George prepares his turkey
for Thanksgivings.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
That's maction, baby, Yeah, that's what maxtion does for you.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Real process, is that right? Yeah, it's a little a
little western. No, I just see likes a deep prized turkey.
But he's got a whole he's been using the same oil,
I guess for eight years.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
LeVar, mean, come on, what's happening?
Speaker 2 (02:56):
I don't know, man. It's definitely racist. Manus I used
to think Jonas was undercover, but not realize he's just
he's just out you just outright, just just blatant.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
What is what's racist?
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Amout trying to say?
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Deep fries is turkey?
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Deep fried turkey. It's it's good.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Oh there you go, there you go.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Let me tell you something.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
That's when you confirm you confirm it. When you say, oh,
I've done that before.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Listen, I've got no problem. I've got I've got I've
got no problem with you people the way you do
your turkeys.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
I've got black, I've got black friend you.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
People like however you people do it, I got how.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
You people want to do your turkeys? There you go.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
No, But he says he uses the same oil. He's
been using the same oil for like eight years, so
he keeps the same frying oil.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Every sbody stores the stores of the oil.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yeah, just stores it and it just keeps reusing it.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
So that's flavor, I guess.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Huh, Yeah, that's the MAC man. That's the way it goes.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
How how how Bowling Green doing not this year?
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Yeah, but Western Michigan won in the battle versus the
Eastern Michigan. They want to they want to hard fucking
eight and four now in the MAC.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
So kind of moving on and then we've gotta we
got to wait a couple of days to get this
more maction. They're not playing later on tonight, so that's unfortunate, upsetting.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
I look forward to it.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Man.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
It sounds and feels like like real college football, like
you hit the band in there, not pumping in music.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
You know, the fans are there because they love it.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
You know, there's not as big of an n I
l You know, the guys just playing for the love
of the game. You hear the loud speaker LeVar Arrington
on the backle, you know, like you hear that guy.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
You never hear that in big stadiums.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Is Jason Kandall still the coach at Toledo?
Speaker 4 (04:49):
He is that which has nothing to do with what
we're talking about based on last night's results.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Well, thank you for bringing that up.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
I was just mentioning it because his wife I went
to high school with. So what youre trying to say,
next little name drive what we're trying to said Johns.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
What you're trying to say?
Speaker 1 (05:03):
I was going into the vast.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Know what you're trying to say? Absolutely not. You was
the MA before it was maction.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
I was.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
I was pulling out all sorts of mactoids for you here. Uh,
to start off the show on a Wednesday morning. Okay,
but the college football playoff ranking really quick, not really
Genes's style, That's not really my style nothing.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
All right, what we got?
Speaker 1 (05:31):
The college football playoff rankings are are out and uh,
what are you laughing at.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
Send me a picture, picture, cue, set me a picture, gue,
hold on, Okay.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
I get him? Oh oh, the the disgust. Never mind.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
You guys are just class through and through. I know that,
all right, So, Brandon T. Quinn big any big gripes,
any big issues with the college football playoff rankings, which
look very similar to the ones over the past couple
of weeks based on the banks, based on the top
teams there So, any any issues, any gripes, any complaints
(06:27):
as we get right for rivalry weekend of the world
of college football.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Uh No, I've no gripes at the moment. I do
need some music though.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I feel like this.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
I feel naked right now. Should I talk about this
without having any sort.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Of music or backbed behind it? And really any music
will do. You can just hit the button for any
type of song and music and do my best, any music,
do my best to make it work, like any sound
that you could play repetitively over talking about this and live.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Music would be.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
That's kind of our go too, that's kind of our
standard go to. All right, money mark, all right, top
five unchanged in the college football Playoff. That's probably surprising
to no one based on none of those teams losing
and everyone looking pretty darn good in the top five,
but Oregon Elite frogs Old Miss.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
This is in part probably.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Due to Oregon's quality win over sc As the College
f Bball Playoff Committee woul put it last night. Not
necessarily a big jump, just one spot ahead. I think
there also might be some concern about what happens at
Old Miss if Lanne and Dean does decide after the
Egg Bowl coming up this weekend to announce he's going elsewhere.
Is he going to coach with Old Miss the rest
(07:40):
of the season through the playoff? Is he going to
jump to that next school? A lot of speculation about that,
So maybe there's a thought or a concern about where
Old Miss will be in the ranking is based on.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
You know, I would find it hard to believe if
he did, But it also is gonna be hard for
him to recruit if if he's trying to win a
national championship.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
With his former team. Utah bounced back one spot.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
They had a hard five battle over Kansas State this
past week and one. However, they didn't give up almost
five hundred yards rushing to Kansas State so they dropped
out of the top twelve.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
They're now at.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
Thirteen and probably one of the biggest movers, which Michigan
up three spots number fifteen, which allows them to, I think,
be in that conversation for if they were to beat
Ohio State for the fifth straight game, you then look
at them and say, okay, they should be playoff worthy
with that resume and only two losses. SMU enters the rankings.
(08:38):
They don't even ranked now they're twenty one. It feels
like the College Ball Playoff Committee is making the case
that SMU if they win and get into the ACC,
which they.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Could, that was anaky, that was a little snaky.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
Well, the SMU could make the playoff after a ACC championship.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
So this is what they did. This is what these
rankings were last night.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
If you ever watched that like series, you got a
few episodes left and there's like those just bad episodes,
nothing really happens, and you really gotta wait until like
the last two or maybe the season finale.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Yeah, that's kind of where we're at.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
We're in that we were in that bad episode where
nothing really happened, and we're kind of setting some things
up for like a big reveal, probably in the final rankings.
I'm not even sure much will happen after Conference Championship
week unless just all hell breaks lose.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Yeah, you're almost pot committed at that point. So it's
like you just got to suffer through a couple of
crummy episodes to get to the grand finale.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
At this point, I will say this, Miami is up,
I believe, down to number twelve.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
They they switched with Utah.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Notre Dame's still at nine, and there's this big argument
and big debate about well it shouldn't head to head matter.
The committee talked about it like you don't have to
throw darts or shoot arrows at me. The Committee's talked
about this. They said, there's no doubt head to head
comes into play. And I personally believe if Miami beats
(10:08):
pitt this weekend, it's another quality win. Notre Name's playing Stanford,
it's so late at night, no one's gonna watch, and
they will most likely move up Miami again. Now, I
just don't know how in the final rankings, when neither
team are gonna play in the Conference championship weekend, how
you're gonna move Miami ahead again After that but you know, again,
(10:29):
the committee does what they want. So their explanation for
where Notre Dame's at where Miami's at is that, yes,
they played head to head. That's one game, that's one
data point. We've also watched the rest of the season,
and we feel like Notre names a more complete team
than where Miami's at. And people like my buddy bear
Chris Filica, who's a Miami lum and others who are
(10:49):
Miami lum's, they can't stand that discussion point.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
And I get it, I get it, But I also
would say.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
If you were a betting man and you had to
put your money on one of these teams to make
a run, who would it be?
Speaker 3 (11:01):
Because I know it wouldn't be Miami, not the way
that scene plays.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
M I just I don't know.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
I don't get the If we're going to go back
to games that took place in week one, then why
should anybody schedule any difficult appoint opponent in week one
if they're just going to be judged judged the entire.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Year for it.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
And it's not like Miami's run the table or has
one loss, They've got two losses, And has anybody seen
Louisville lately, it's not exactly like their losses are against
the top one and two teams in the country. So
the whole and I was telling you this a little
bit before the show, there's going to be a gripe
against Notre Dame anytime there's an opportunity to get it
(11:41):
because there is an underlying jealousy against Notre Dame. There
just is, and that's that's always going to exist.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
There's a lot of support for Notre Dame too.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Of course, but they're one of those.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Victim well, but there's a lot of Notre Dame fans,
but it's were everywhere.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
But they're one of those brands. It's like the Yankees. Yeah,
people love them and they've got that national, national notoriety,
but there's also a lot of people that want to
see them lose and a lot of people that are
bitter that they've been able to do the independent thing
and nobody else has really been able to maintain that.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Well, that's true, that is true. Yeah, And I mean, listen,
independent it's a hard that's a hard road. It's a
hard road. But they you know, they've they've navigated well,
I don't know, they start slow for some reason or
I don't even know that this year you would consider
it slow because it's a quality opponent that they were playing.
(12:36):
But they lose early. Maybe that's a better way of
putting it. They lose early, and then for some strange reason,
Notre Dame never slows down. They they they start slow
like locomotive style, right, like, uh, you got to put
the coal in or put the wood into the locomotive
like they start too too true. And then by the
(12:57):
time you get mid seasons like true, true, true, then
they you know, into the season, they moving. They do
it every year. I don't I don't know. I don't
get it. I wish we knew how to do it.
But anyway, that's uh.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
It right now, it's a little late in but you're
kind of doing it.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
It's a little late that they're starting to pull it together.
But you know that's that's it is what it is.
It is what it is. So but listen, Notre Dame
has put themselves in position to be in the conversation.
So I don't I don't feel as though that should
be you know, too much up for debate. They got
(13:34):
the guys that are in front of them. They have
the schedule that that would you know, call for justify
what it is that they have going on. So and
I don't know much about Louisville to be honest, I
didn't even know if they were good this year. Are
they good?
Speaker 4 (13:49):
They were competitive earlier in the season. Now they've kind
of fallen off.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Yeah, I don't. I don't. That wasn't up on Louisville
all like that.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
I mean, nor Mosk got heard at quarterback that they've
had some issues there.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Yeah, do you guys think and you kind of mentioned
this that Ole Miss should be, for lack of a
better term, punished if lane I would agree.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Which is interesting because why wouldn't you didn't we had
that conversation about Florida State when the quarterback didn't play.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Yeah, that's a player. That's the quarterback as opposed to
the court.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Who's more important the coach or the player? The player?
No way?
Speaker 4 (14:29):
The player, without a doubt, no way, the coach. Well,
that's fair, that's fair. Michigan some of the biggest games.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
They had, they had a whole entire season like that.
What what what wasn't it like a six game suspension
like they had like six games? We're talking one game
if Lane Kiffen opts out and well, the playoff the playoffs,
so all right, not one single game, but it's the playoffs,
(15:06):
so it is a single game. All I'm saying is
and in a one game and in a playoff scenario,
I think the head coach is more important than the
player than a single player. I do know, I do. Yeah,
especially yeah, especially Lane on that island.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
Now reality is here. Here's what I say.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
It's Charlie West Junior has been a ZOC for a
long time. Like that game is gonna get called offensively?
How that game is gonna get called now? He didn't
mess with the defense.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
So I just it's a good it's a I mean,
it's a solid theory. I just think in this scenario,
if Lane Kiffin steps away and isn't the head coach
and the team anymore, I think that that should play
a part. That should play a part, just like if
(16:00):
a player was opting out.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
I think it should play a part. It should be wayed,
it should be taken into consideration.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
It's just me.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yeah, but then you're punishing the players because their coach
is leaving.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
So okay, so you punished the you punished the players
because one of their teammates got hurt.
Speaker 4 (16:21):
What's the difference, Well, he's not on the field with this,
It's not on the field to actually impact the game.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Oh god, all right, okay, moving on, Moving on, a couple.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
Of the pieces of college football news worth recapping. Eric
Morris HW to Oklahoma State. And there there's a reason
why I bring this up because I'll say, Eric Morris
coming from North Texas, it's not that big of a
deal necessarily in the.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Minds of people across the country. But what a lot
of people don't realize is a lot of these.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Coaches are getting hired with the anticipation that they're bringing
their quarterback with them. And I believe it's Drew me
to maker the quarterback who's.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
I don't even the maker.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
Yes, I don't even think he played quarterback in high school.
And he has been absolutely phenomenal as a freshman this year.
He's complete over seventy percent of his passes, over twenty
five touchdown passes. He's been incredible. And so there's a
thought now that for a lot of these programs, when
they're hiring a head coach, expect them to bring their
(17:25):
quarterback with them. And that's one of the thoughts too
behind Lane Kiffin and his decision. As we bring Lane
back up, if he goes to LSU, is he bringing
Trinidad Chambliss? Is he targeting someone else? So a lot
of moving parts because there's a thought I'll just throw
this out there. If Lane does level MESSI goes LSU
(17:46):
as is there's a huge off from the table that's
been reported. I have heard that it actually would be
a different quarterback than he'd want to take. To tell
us you, potentially his name Manning No with the last
name Williams, and he happens to play on the Pacific Northwest.
Because there's a thought that that Florida job has ties
back to Jed Fish and anyone who knows Jedfish knows
(18:09):
that he doesn't mind jumping around every two three years.
So there is some musical chairs going on there. But
keeping ony on Oklahoma State. Eric Morris is a really
good football coach. He's spent a lot of time at
Texas Tech Lubeck. He knows the Big twelve well. And
if he brings Drew mess Tomaker, who again is just
(18:30):
a freshman a couple of years from now, where We
talked about him the first round of the draft. Keep
an eye on that young man. And then Jim Moore junior,
who's leaving Yukon taking the call out of stage job,
which is interesting because he's built Yukon up the first
time and maybe football history at Yukon. They've went back
to back nine and win seasons. He's done so man,
(18:51):
just I mean incredible. You can't overstate how well he's
done there considering they've been mole eligible three of those
four years. I mean a Yukon a place who's been independent,
who's really struggled and financially like they don't have much there.
Joey Finiano's quarterback has been phenomenal this year too, so
I would not be shocked if you don't see again
(19:14):
a team a quarterback who ends up rolling with their coach.
So he said he's a senior, though I don't know
if he has he might have one more year of eligibility,
but he finally threw his first pick of the season.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
But he's been phenomenal. So anyway, it's your college football
up date.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
They've just been amazing. He's a right update. They've been awesome.
I'm so proud of them.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Well, they would probably beat Penn State at this time.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
No, they wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Actually, they're actually really good, can.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Aculate. We actually played pretty well last weekend. I mean,
I'm just saying, and it was against some pretty decent
Oh they're backup in I get it. But but you
know what, Yeah, you know, beat them up pretty good.
So we're on a two game run. Take that. Well
that here's here's what we'll do that you can't.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
But they've got one late game left to be forligible,
so we'll see because then we can maybe watch both
in bull season. Right, but I mean, Yukon is already there.
I'm not sure if Penn State is going to get there.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
What you're doing, I know what you're doing. I know
what you're doing right now. It's just nice little.
Speaker 4 (20:27):

Speaker 4 (24:21):
Yeah, bah damn bada, come on now, Mark, what's she
doing with them this morning?
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Mark?
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Mark's old school like that, dude.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
That's the old school pop blocking. Yeah, that's the hardcore
battle dancing back then. That's how they They ain't fight
with pipes and poles and chains and stuff like that.
They just used to dance. You know, this was battle
music right here. Huh uh Yeah, two pros and a
(25:01):
cup of Joe here.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
Fox Sports Radio LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you.
Coming up a little over fifteen minutes from now, we
are going to have another edition of In case you
missed it. Right now, though, it is time for the
tire rack play.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Of the day.
Speaker 4 (25:13):
Leper shoot a sixties percent Lakers sixties four percent.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
I'll just let the de fact Lucas got more. Luca
now with twenty four in eleven minutes.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Nobody else in the game has double figures.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Who has twenty four?
Speaker 1 (25:31):
Lakers TV from Spectrum Sportsnet on the call, Luca finishing
with forty three points, thirteen assists, nine rebounds. Not bad
for some fat ass that the Dallas Mavericks couldn't wait
to trade. That is your tire rack play of the
Day for over forty years, ty Rack has been helping
customers find the right tires for how, what and where
they drive. Shift fast and freeback by free Road has
(25:52):
a protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation
tire rack dot Com the way tire buying should be so,
as it turns out, we asked Dean Blandino about this
and he was correct. Spitting on somebody is the same
as a nut shot in the NFL Trayvon marrig Well,
(26:14):
he was suspended one game without pay for that nut
shot that he delivered to Juan Jennings on Monday Night
football for the Panthers. The best part is he's going
to appeal it.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
Now.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
We had this discussion about Jamar Chase when he spit
on Jalen Ramsey. What exactly is your argument here?
Speaker 2 (26:32):
You appealing?
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Yeah, when you can clearly see him take a shot
at the guy's balls on television.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
I mean, social is unforgiving anymore too. By the way
they capture this, I don't know how they be getting
these angles where they get it close closed up and
close up and zoomed in. He I mean, he uppercuted
that man in his jangles unapologetically. I don't I don't
(27:00):
get to I don't get an appeal. I don't get
that at all.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
I mean possible explanation for why he would do what
he did, because, as you point out.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
For those who haven't seen this video, it is clear
as day he was going.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
To punch him closed fist, not a flick, not a
backhanded t bag you know, tap. No, he closed fist, uppercut,
punched him right to the groin.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
I mean it looked like he connected to like you
connected on that.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Like lifted him off the ground. He made such contact
you candim that mass Nuts was screaming that one at.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
What happened hurts.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Yeah, I'm just I'm trying to figure out because it
it's Derek Brooks and had.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
The hurt bed to you. We're looking for that man.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Who are going to hear the appeal? How long is
the appeal process? How long? Like what are we talking
about here? Is this like a fifteen to two seconds?
Speaker 2 (28:12):
Yeah, no evidence, Yeah, this one won't be long. I
just wonder again, when they're appealing, are they appealing like
for a lesser of a penalty, or are they appealing,
you know, to try to say that they didn't mean
it the way that it was being being judged. That's
(28:35):
what I wonder, because this you can't be trying to
say you're innocent in this situation, Like there's no way
even the spinning one that was appealed. Is this just
a formality? You just got it, you have to appeal it.
Like are you doing it to get a lesser of
a fine? That's what I wonder in the details. Are
you doing it to get lesser of a penalty?
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Well, I mean, he's you know, suspended one game without pay.
I don't know like what portion of that paycheck he
thinks he's going to.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
Get back, Like he just never know, you know what
I mean, I don't know. I don't know how that works.
But maybe that's what it is that he's appealing.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
Though, I also would think that maybe his argument could be, Look,
it was a punch. It's not as painful as like
a backhand flip. Like if you backhand flip somebody, there's
a lot of coverage.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
There, No that hurts.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
That hurts more than a punch just does.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
That's not no way a backhand flip.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
A backhand flip just like one of those like you're
just like smacking them backhand.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
That when I get back in studio, we're going to
do a demonstration and see which one hurts more.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Okay, but only yeah, okay.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
An upper cut punch or a backhand flip.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Okay, you know what's interesting? Hold on, hold on all right.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
Maybe he's feels so emboldened to talk this way about
a nutshot because he actually paid off that bet that
he owed for Tony Romo.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Maybe he finally paid it off, and now he's like, yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
Go ahead, go ahead, and there just bone. Yeah, yeah, perfect.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
I'm not gonna get taken out of context one time
on this network and then people got to play the sound.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
I wasn't here for it, So I don't you know
that's y'all's thing. I wasn't. I wasn't around for that.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
That's your thing now, buddy, because.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
You would have had to you. You gotta pay up,
like when you when you make a bet of significant
amount and portion in terms of what you're you're wagering,
you gotta pay like if it's a and I mean
I'll go as as much of saying even jerseys and
stuff like that, you gotta wear something. Then I don't
(30:45):
know if me and Q did something for the Notre
Dame game. I don't know, but I just know, guys,
we're Jerseys stuff. I don't think you glad we didn't.
I'm glad. I was very confident that we would win. Yeah.
I was like felt like I was protecting you. You know,
in the situation. I was wrong. It was wrong.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
What was the bet between you?
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Guys?
Speaker 2 (31:07):
There wasn't a bet?
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Are we sure?
Speaker 2 (31:10):
I'm almost I don't know. Anyways, we know you had
a bet and we know you didn't pay off the bet.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
That's that's, by the way, gets ten million dollars a year.
I'm getting a sex change. I can't there you go.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
I think Jonas paid it off.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
Punching, Yeah, do whatever you want.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
Time and place and by the way, look around. I
was ahead of my time.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
You know. There's these kung fu dudes that like kick
each other that like that and get hit with logs that.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
I've seen that and they show like how how not
allowed to hurt?
Speaker 2 (31:47):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (31:48):
That can't be.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
Real, right, it's real, it's real. It is real.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
But how do you lose how do you lose feeling?
Speaker 2 (31:55):
Down there? Enough?
Speaker 4 (31:56):
Because I think they learned how to remove them from
hanging and they're able to actually, you know, hold and
suck them in and hold the stance is what I think.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
It's like a whack them mole. They just suck them
up inside and they.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Suck them up bruhick.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
Have you seen have you seen what they'll do to
train fighters. They'll train their shins. They'll take a stick. No,
they'll take a stick and they'll they'll just run it
down their shin constantly, So you lose this feeling and
your ship.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
Can you do that, that's called grasping.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
So you can't do that with your ball bag, I
would assume. So there's got to be some optical illusions
for those guys that are that are efforting that, or.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
They just aren't endowed. Maybe I don't know, maybe you
have to be born into that to be able to
to practice that discipline, because I know, I ain't see
no no brothers doing it, man. I ain't see no
black folks doing it, man. I only, well, what's that
supposed to be? Does? Maybe that's just it. It just
is not possible for that discipline to apply to a
(33:08):
brother shoe.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
I don't mean to go off on a complete tangent
of social media stuff that you come across.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
And see what he said there, So he did.
Speaker 4 (33:19):
But have you seen the guys who act like they're
using energy to like strike people and all that.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
Have you guys seen that stuff? Wait?
Speaker 4 (33:26):
What Yeah, it's it's like the stupidest content out there.
But these guys act like they they move energy in
their body to then like strike someone like very easily
or simply.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
I did see that, and he taught his pupil. It
was I believe he taught his pupil and then she
just multiple did it and then he passed out. She
hit him with so much energy that they had to
catch him.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
Yeah, really proved.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
She hit him. His body went lifeless. They had to
catch master. Master was falling to the floor. They had
to catch him.
Speaker 8 (34:06):
They was wiping his face. He started started sweating profusely.
Finally when he put that energy on him, Doug, it's.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
A funny video that I do. I do recall that. Yes,
I've seen that she hit him with that energy build up. Boy,
if I could learn that, bruh. Imagine if somebody like
Miles Garrett or Michael Parsons or somebody learned that transfer
and of energy like that, and then you just come
off on the pass rush and you hit him with
(34:38):
that energy and they just dropped just three hundred pound
or just drop bloom. You know, then chip blocking wouldn't
wouldn't even matter anymore because you drop dang.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
I imagine Jonas is rushing off the edge doing all that.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
Yeah, that would be interesting.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
I'd get there.
Speaker 2 (34:55):
It'd be interesting to see like a guy built and
look like Jonas being able to like just own dudes
on the field. That would be interesting. Yeah, so that
supposed to me.
Speaker 4 (35:06):
I'm just saying, you know, I wonder what Jonas would
have liked his trash talk would have sound.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
You know, you can't you can't envision one hundred and
eighty one pounds flying off the edge just lighting side.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
I can not your one hundred and eighty one pounds.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
Yeah, I think I weigh more than DeVante Smith for
what it's worth.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
There you go, it's a wide receiver. Yeah, yeah, different.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
All right, Well I do know this.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
Haim Moore, Pinkston, same team. Who you think who you
think is that one? It's pretty close.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
You think your If your nickname is the Slim Reaper,
you probably are even skinner than what a show is
on the media.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
Gad and By the way his diet. He eats garbage
if like Davante Smith has talked about it like he
doesn't like he's like we're talking fast food like constantly
and gets big poor. He just doesn't gain weight. He's
been the same weight since college. There's been no he's
a good player, but you can just eat whatever the
(36:09):
hell he wants and then not get fat. Apparently he's
gifted like that. He's probably a great skater as well too.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
Yeah, what do you say like that? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
I feel bad for you, guys if you missed me.
I mean at least you showed up.
Speaker 3 (37:48):
Why would you feel bad if we missed you.
Speaker 9 (37:50):
I see my exes, my mom and it really breaks them.
So yeah, I don't want to do it to you, guys.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
I mean I got oh see.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
I get it then, and I'm trying to be nice. Yeah,
I know, it's a nice. At least she showed up, though.
Lorrain is nowhere to be found.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
It's crazy.
Speaker 9 (38:04):
Day before too, still a workday, guys, Come on, I'll
be here on Thanksgoving. Anyway, some news in the NBA.
They're unveiling new courts. They have veiled new courts for
the NBA Cup. Have you guys seen them?
Speaker 1 (38:19):
Yeah, a lot of pain. So it's receiving they did.
Speaker 9 (38:23):
They did something similar to it last year, but now
they have like they're very different in terms of very colorful.
So the Minnesota tember Wolves have a very neon green one,
or the Lakers have a very yellow one. If you
look it up, you'll see them. They're not that great.
They have fallen victim to a lot of criticism from fans.
But just recently, actually tonight, after his forty three points
(38:46):
young against the Clippers, Lucas said this.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
Which is the courts. It's just slippery. It's dangerous.
Speaker 9 (38:56):
So not only does it look bad, they also suck
and they're dangerous. So how do you guys feel about it?
They're slippery, but they they suck to play on. Yeah, okay,
but he said they're slippery. Adjust the courts please, it's slippery,
it's dangerous.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
What do you guys think? Oh, I mean it's you know,
any anything to adjust the court, anything to for an
NBA player to bitch, Like that's really the whole goal, Like,
anything to complain about so they can take a couple
of days off what you're doing there.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
I think everyone's low management.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
Any excuse.
Speaker 4 (39:33):
I think if I think if we're really like, if
we actually cared about player safety, we probably would have
subjected football players to playing on I don't know, AstroTurf
back in the day baseball fields where you've got like
the diamond slash in a portion of the field and
the rest is like the grass, right. Like, there's a
number of things that I think we've done throughout the
(39:55):
course of time in the NFL, uh and even other
you know, professional sports that was didn't really care about
player safety. And it feels like the NBA has fall
in that same exact direction, like, let's not worry about
you know those guys out there slipping, you know guys
who are large, flying high through the air.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
Let's not worry about that.
Speaker 4 (40:15):
Let's just go ahead and paint the floorest because the
fans and everyone really likes them. I didn't give two
rips about whatever the court looks like. I just want
to watch the games.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
How bad? How bad was astro turf to play on?
Speaker 3 (40:29):
I mean, I thought it was terrible.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
It was fast thought the way.
Speaker 4 (40:36):
That makes me feel really old because I look at
like other dudes who played on it like more than
I had to plan.
Speaker 3 (40:41):
I only played on a couple of times.
Speaker 4 (40:44):
But that makes you feel old when you tell dudes like, yeah,
I played on astro Turf, Yeah I did.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
It was at the end though, I mean, but I
was fortunate enough to play on Three Rivers Stadium astro
turf for one of the last games.
Speaker 4 (41:00):
I believe we lost, but some'theless I played. I played
on Pittsburgh Steel or Astro Turf as a pro, So
that was cool. I got to I got to feel
what it felt like to fall on that ground, and
you know all that good stuff and get to burn.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
It's the turf burns that's the worst, by the way.
I mean when you fall on that concrete and carpet
and you slide for like five six yards and you
start to realize that if you go any further, you're
going to light up like a match going off of
a matchbook strike strike strip. But yeah, astro turf was
a thing.
Speaker 1 (41:35):
Audrey Dawson when he played in Montreal at old Olympic Stadium. Uh,
he basically like, if you like, wrote a cheap check
to the Cubs to come play for them, even though
they were awful, because the amount of damage that the
astro turf did to his knees running on that plane
in the outfield, and he just wanted to get to
(41:56):
natural grass.
Speaker 2 (41:57):
That all makes sense now, Yeah, so not a.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
But listen makes sense. Not too many public complaints, unlike
the NBA, where you know anything, do anything to gripe about, they.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
Will, so it all makes sense.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
Jonas, I agree,
