what Sesame needs you, and you know what we need
to do. What we need to have a conversation about
(01:48):
the AFC North. Okay, whatever the hell you call the
AFC North this year because it's all on the line
next Sunday Night. What a shocker. We we were on
set last night, like, God, who do you think the
Sunday night game is going to Because they wait until
the last minute to reveal it. It's like, who do
you think the Ravens and the Steelers are playing for
(02:09):
the AFC North? Based on Pittsburgh coming out and looking
awful against the Cleveland Browns yesterday and Baltimore dominating Green
Bay with Snoop Puntley on Saturday night and so now
it all comes down to Steelers, Ravens and Pittsburgh seeing
if they can do it at home with no DK
(02:31):
medk metcalflices.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
It's it's uh. He was sitting somewhere sick as hell yesterday, yep.
Because he's the difference in the game.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
They and and let me tell you something about yesterday
as well. And I mean some people said it made
it kind of apparent and evident they were more interested
and not being the record for Miles Garrett than they
were winning that game. Oh you think so, Oh, they
were more interested in making sure that they could try
(03:02):
to win that game while accomplishing not becoming making history
with the Cleveland Browns.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
It was to me, it was so evident, and so.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
When you when you look at what they did, the
one that was the most apparent and probably most egregious
is the idea of not being under center as the
Pittsburgh Steelers, like you, aligned in a shotgun formation pretty
(03:38):
much all game, Aaron Rodgers was not holding the ball
long enough to take chances and take shots to create
those big plays that help open up the run game.
They've been very consistent with how they've ran the ball
They've been very consistent on opening up and accessing the
(04:00):
second levels of in the third level of the defenses
for explosive plays based off of being aligned under center
and running the football, and that's not what they did yesterday.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Mike Tomlin was asked about whether or not they changed
the way they operated or whether or not that was
more of a focus than was winning the game yesterday,
and he addressed the situation afterwards.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
We didn't do anything against Miles that we don't normally
do against Miles. The sack records irrelevant. We got to
minimize him if we want to engineer victory. We did
the same thing last time we played him. I didn't
think he had any sacks in that game either, and
so we didn't take a different approach because of the
gravity of the record. It's just standard business when you
when you play these guys and him.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
I don't I mean, I disagree with you. You're You're
not alone, because I did see some people say that
Pittsburgh looked like they were more concerned about that than
really anything else. And listen, you wouldn't be.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
It wouldn't be so obvious if Aaron Rodgers didn't wink
at anymore whatever that was he did when Miles Garrett
came free and he just threw the ball away like
they were more like while I'll say, yes, what Mike,
what Mike Tomlin is saying is in theory, in fact,
probably accurate. But the way they handled the things that
(05:22):
they went about their business like we went about our business.
They understood the gravity of what was going on, and
the gravity of that dictated quick releases. It was the
way things were handled on the field that made it
seem as though that it was more important. And and
(05:43):
and it's interesting because just on my little thread, one
of the threads, there are a couple former Steelers on
that thread, and they immediately was like, why are they
not under center? And I was like, well, it's explain
to me what that represents to you. It is like, well,
they're clearly moving Aaron Rodgers away from the ball so
(06:08):
that he can see what's going on with Miles Garrett
and get rid of the ball quickly. You're not now,
I will say this, Well, never know, they didn't have
dk Metcalf, so they didn't you know, Valdad Scantling was
you're probably your next best option or your tight ends
the tight end, the big tight end goes out, he's
(06:30):
jacked up. Now he's got a broken arm broken on
in Washington, Washington.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
You know it just maybe there's a little bit of.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
The they did things a little bit differently, not based
off of Jess Miles Garrett, but based off of personnel.
Maybe they had to do things a little differently. That's possible,
But I just think got a first glance the way
they went about things in that game, especially offensively speaking.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Yeah, they were aware of Miles Garrett.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
And I'm gonna tell you how I know they were
aware of them because they were trying to move him around.
The Browns were really trying to move him around, and
they were like they were just so focused and dowed
in on. But you know, Miles Garrett has never sacked
Aaron Rodgers. He's played against him, I believe three times.
He's never sacked them. So there is that. So I
(07:27):
will say to maybe Mike Tomlin's defense. I mean, they
did play them once this year already, and he did
not get to Aaron Rodgers in that game either, So
three times.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
You know how in college football there's this conference pride,
which I always find odd because you're rooting against these
teams the entire time, and then when your team's not
in it, all of a sudden, it's SCC or it's
Big ten or whatever. It's like, you know, these are
your rivals, but you're supporting the conference the bigger picture.
(08:00):
I guess if you were one of those people with
the AFC North and you're all about supporting your AFC North,
you want to see it rec you want to see
it do big things in the postseason. If that's the case,
you definitely don't want Pittsburgh getting in because they are
one and done. If I've ever seen it, Baltimore feels
(08:22):
like their ceiling is higher now, whether or not Lamar
Jackson plays and what the hell's going on with that
and all the reports from the Baltimore Sun and whatnot.
But Baltimore at least feels like you watch Derrick Henry
and it's like, damn man four touchdown on the ground.
That's not sustainable. Yeah, And it just it feels like Baltimore.
(08:43):
And this isn't just because you know, I'm pot committed
because they were my Super Bowl pick before the year,
and so it keeps the hope alive. I recognize neither
one of these teams has lived up to their expectation,
especially Baltimore. They've both been disappointments. But if you're one
of those people that's like, all right, but which one
could make noise in the postseason, I think it's the Ravens.
(09:03):
Pittsburgh looks like every other Pittsburgh team that's been to
the postseason the last ten years, one and done. And
what yesterday showed me is, yeah, man, this DK Metcalf
stuff was maybe a lot bigger of a deal on
the field than what people wanted to make it out
time you knew it. They just they looked lost. There
was no There was just nothing.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
They have no difference maker, nothing out there on the edges.
And it doesn't you can't open up and access a
defensive secondary if you don't have one guy that commands
a double team. You gotta have one that commands a
double team. You have to. If you don't have one,
then those guys that are out there being single covered,
(09:48):
you had better be able to win win your matchups.
And again, like they were able to get the friar
moof a few times, but it just wasn't, you know,
it just wasn't as wide open a an offensive days
as you have seen in the past few weeks.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Like this is what it looks, and look, a lot
of this stuff is going to change. There's different scenarios
and whatnot that we can get in throughout the course
of the week. But as it stands right now, this
would be your four or five matchup. All right, let's
just say Pittsburgh wins next week. Let's just say those
are the types of games they win. And by the way,
they're like, this is what the betting market thinks of Pittsburgh.
They're a three and a half point underdog at home
(10:33):
against Baltimore and we don't even know if Lamar Jackson
is going to play. That's what everybody. So if you're
a Steelers fan and you get sensitive about this, that's
what that's what they think about your team. But this
would be your first round matchup if you're Pittsburgh. If
you were to win next week and you're hosting a
playoff game, you get the Houston Texans have fun with that.
(10:54):
As of right now, that's where we're at. That's the
four or five matchup. Go and get out of that one. No, no,
and I gonna get out of that one. That's that's
a nightmare. Like if you if you thought Cleveland was
getting after Rogers yesterday, what do you think Houston's gonna
do that?
Speaker 2 (11:11):
And they've come on at the right time. Yes, they've
definitely started to They were still kind of like that
hot and cold type team. They've really kind of they've
they've turned it on for certain Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
I just I look at this and I go, Baltimore
feels like the one of the two that you could go,
all right, maybe that's a sleeper. I just don't see
anything from Pittsburgh.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
I don't see I feel the same way about Baltimore Personally.
I feel I feel as though Baltimore this year more
like I thought they were eliminated from the playoffs. To
be honest with you, they they've been a very, very
average team this year. They've been a very average team
this year, and I guess they're rewarded in the sense
(11:56):
that it's been an average year for the AFC North. Yeah,
and and so they're in the position that they're in
to get in by winning the division. Uh, but I
don't I don't listen. I asked this the other week
and and you guys got all weird and Clammy, I
guess because Harball isn't you know Mike Tomlin?
Speaker 1 (12:18):
You know?
Speaker 2 (12:19):
But I compared the two and said, why should we
be looking at Mike Tomlin any differently than the way
we're looking at at Harball? Why should we be looking
at Harball any differently than the way we're looking at Tomlin.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Because he's white?
Speaker 2 (12:32):
There you go, Yeah, I'm glad you said it.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (12:38):
I feel like Baltimore has hit their ceiling and and
if I'm being honest, there's a chance that Lamar Jackson
hit his There's a chance.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Oh did you see the uh the article that came
out in the Baltimore Sun. Lust But I'm surprised it
didn't get maybe because it was a holiday week. I'm
surprised that it didn't get more maybe more attention or
more run then.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
But I've been saying this for a little while. Now,
Why isn't Harball on the hot seat in Baltimore?
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Do you want to hear some of the quotes about
Lamar Jackson here? So this was from Mike Preston of
the Baltimore Sun. Quote the breakdown of an NFL player's
body is natural, but Jackson could help himself. He doesn't
need to be up late at night playing video games
or falling asleep in team meetings. He needs to train
more around the castle instead of only attending mandatory mini
(13:36):
camps where he disappears after one day. A major problem,
a lot of it is on the Ravens, is that
there are team rules and then there are rules for
Lamar Jackson. That's why Baltimore practices in the heat of
the afternoon instead of in the morning. Once the Ravens
become critical of Jackson, he becomes more withdrawn. It's a
shame because Jackson isn't a mean spirited person, just an
overgrown kid and an adult's body. It's clear that coach
(13:58):
John Harbaugh has become tired of Jackson, even though he
builds him up after every game. He has to or
Jackson will go into his self exile. Boy, that seems
like a fun relationship. And I'll say this, I reached
out to somebody who would know a little bit more
about this and close to that situation than I would,
(14:19):
and they said that there's one hundred percent validity to
all that. So it does feel like if Baltimore doesn't
get in the conversation you're having about John Harbaugh is
a real one. And I don't know if this is
a either or you got to keep one or the
other because that relationship has run its course. But it
does feel like this game Sunday Night there's going to
(14:39):
be some changes. Like whoever loses this game on Sunday Night,
there's going to be some changes. If Pittsburgh loses, that
could be the end of Aaron Rodgers. If I re
betting right now, that's probably it.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
I feel like, I feel like when you look at
the Lamar Jackson situation, it it's not going to be
an easy fix one way or the other. If it's
as if it's what it sounds like and what you're
you know what you just read, and if it does
(15:12):
have validity to it, it's not an easy fix. And
you look at it from the standpoint, it's not easy.
If you hadn't noticed, it's not easy to find quarterbacks
that can impact your team. That's one, And how much
time does a coach get with that changing of the QB.
Then two, you have a quarterback that at times flash
(15:35):
is brilliance, two time MVP and and has shown the
ability to be hid and shoulders better than everybody else
out there on the field.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
But then you look at.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
The shortcomings when the games are on the line and
they really matter, and listen, some of that is not
at the field of Lamar Jackson. Not to blame him
for some of the things that have happened in playoff games,
but nonetheless they happened. I think what brings to life
(16:12):
the real life concern of this situation, or if those
quotes are real, if those are the things that are
going on, you know, at some point players start to
look at it from the standpoint of maybe we have
a whole lot more to do with this ship running
(16:33):
smoothly through all of the moments that y'all have, with
what y'all got going on. And if that is the case,
if that becomes more of a pronounced situation, then that ultimately,
which has been the same conversation we've had about Tomlin
and Pittsburgh. If you're doing things that have led to
(16:56):
consistent shortcomings at a certain position and it's led to
the team maybe their ultimate demise each season, then you're
talking about, oh, has he lost the locker room? And
then I would ask the same question about horrorball in Baltimore.
(17:18):
If Indeed, Lamar Jackson is somewhat hitting a plateau in
his career. Maybe I won't go as far as to
say his ceiling, but it's possible he could have hit
his ceiling.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
And look if he did reach his ceiling, Damn, that's
a high ceiling. I mean he hit a high ceiling.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Yeah, but if your harball, how do you handle this situation?
And if you're handling it the way that this article
is saying it, then you're running the risk of losing
your locker room. When if you're not running it that way,
you're running the risk of losing your quarterback. Which one
is worth it?
Speaker 1 (17:51):
They look pretty damn good on Saturday Night, Like that
didn't look like a team that was like f this guy.
And I'm not Look, I don't. I don't want to
pick sides because I love Lamar Jackson. He's one of
my favorite players in the league. I think he's been fantastic.
But I have noticed, and I think a lot of
people have. Damn, he misses a lot of time. And
it's either he's sick, or he's this, or he's and
(18:12):
it's those like those quotes from that article. Those I'm sorry,
I those quotes like those quotes from the article stays
up too late at night playing video games, they falls
asleep in team meetings like those aren't just generic, you know,
(18:35):
painting a broad picture type of quote. Those are specific,
which leads me to believe this got out because somebody
wanted it to get out, because maybe somebody's tired of
the fact that he is sick all the time, that
he can't stay healthy, that he doesn't practice full weeks,
that he's missed like seven straight Wednesday practices, and everything
(18:55):
that comes along with it. And so yeah, maybe it
is to the point to where it's reached its ceiling,
and it's a really high ceiling. And people can say, well, yeah,
but you never won a Super Bowl. Man, not everybody
can win super Bowls, Like it's really hard to do.
Not everybody can do it. There's a lot of great
quarterbacks that have gone through the history of the NFL
(19:17):
that never won a Super Bowl or never even got
to a Super Bowl. I just I think that this
game coming up on Sunday night for the loser, there's
going to be changes based on how this season is
look for both of them. And the one that's the
most interesting is the one that we're talking about, Lamar Jez.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
I thought I've always thought it was the most interesting one, honestly.
But I will say Pittsburgh is a super Pittsburgh is
the more discussed topic.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
It's the more talked about topic.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
But I feel like they both are in the same situation,
and I feel like both conversations are conversations that probably
will be ensuing.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
It's not going to be ignored. I'll say that. I
don't see it.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Being a it goes and and listen, Jonas, It's not
over after that game. If they go in, whoever doesn't
make it in right because whoever loses, basically they go home.
Yeah they're done. Yeah that's an issue. But then the
next team is going to go in and what if
they are one and done team.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
So and that's why I look at Pittsburgh and I
go they feel like a one and done team. Who
would let me ask you this, if it is, you know, Houston,
Pittsburgh or Houston. If it's Houston versus the AFC North
winner in the first three, who would you trust more
in that game against you? I don't trust either one
of them. I would trust Baltimore. Why because it's the
same team because they can run the ball and the
(20:46):
Pittsburgh and they've got a mobile quarterback to get away
from that Pastwsburgh doesn't have a mobile quarterback. Why not?
And you don't know you don't because he's white? No,
because don't no, Just go with that, please, LaVar Arrington says,
Pittsburgh's quarterback is not mobile because he's white. Run for
that anyway, tag Ryan Clark, if you because.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
That's a good one. I was joking everyone, because they'll
they'll pick that up. Of course they'll run out in
Pittsburgh too. About everybody has a sense anymore. I was joking.
I mean Aaron Rodgers, I don't care if he was black.
He's old as hell and he can't he can't run anymore.
I mean that that one pat he went back for
(21:31):
the past and tried to run for the first down.
It was like two yards to get the first down.
And his mind said, you can go fast like the
old Aaron, but his body was like, I can't go
fast like the old Aaron, and his legs started spinning
real fast and he just fell down like missed the
first down, didn't get it anyways. I knew he was
done at that, but this is a bigger question for
(21:53):
Lamar Jackson and where do you go from here? How
do you view Lamar Jackson moving forward. One, if they
were to lose this game and not make it to
the playoffs, is it just off season, let's see what happens.
Or Two, they make it to the playoffs and it
isn't the type of playoff run that people were hoping
(22:15):
for from the Baltimore Ravens. I don't have confidence that
either one of these teams can do well in the playoffs.
So it's almost like you got a big ass scab
on it, and one is going to get the scab
pulled off next week, well, this week, another is going
to get the scab, which which one is more painful.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
I'd rather get the.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
Scab pulled off now, Oh yeah, just get it out.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Of the way.
Speaker 4 (22:38):
Ye have.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
At least she get to the playoffs. It's you know,
it's fun.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
These are two teams that have not had losing seasons, which,
by the way, I do believe if what are the
Steelers right now?
Speaker 1 (22:52):
The Pittsburgh Steelers' efforting, efforting, efforting, The Pittsburgh Steelers are
nine and seven, Okay, so they'll still end up with it.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
But the Ravens for eight and eight, Yeah, they could
be an eight, So they could be an eight to
nine team. I'm just saying I think either way there's
going to be a tremendous judgment if a team makes it.
If one of those teams makes it, to which one
will make it to the playoffs and they're not competitive
(23:21):
in the playoffs, I think that that's more damning than
missing the playoffs against a divisional opponent that historically, you
guys have been the top and the crest and which
you are because you're playing for the divisional title. So
I would rather lose that game than losing the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Honestly, I know it's going to be a tough road regardless.

just sort of the win and get in situation they
(27:39):
find themselves in. There's another division where it's the same thing.
It's the NFC South, and so you've got the Panthers
and the Bucks who are going to beday.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
I mean, they took it on the chin yesterday, but
I mean it's a it's a vastly improving team.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Tampa Bay is a Nosava good God, that is. And
I can't wait to have that conversation with Pete Prisco
who was ball washing the Bucks because he saw him
in training camp during his tour and was talking about
all how great they are. They've completely melted down, they have,
and now for some reason, they still find themselves in
(28:16):
an opportunity to win and get in next week. While
hosting the Carolina Panthers, Baker Mayfield spoke about that opportunity
yesterday to have a chance at home to get into
the playoffs and win the division.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
Wouldn't have it any other way, And obviously the things
leading up to it, yeah, we'd love to change them,
but still have a chance playing for the division at home,
and I'll get this.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
Group ready your way out bullets now.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
And kind of pullows out of lives and that's all
right with me.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
They've lost seven of eight, like it's an epic slat man,
and outside of them being at home, that might be
the only reason why I think they could get it
done if they had to go to Carolina.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
I don't think they get it done. I really don't.
I don't know that they can go into that weather,
under that type of strain and stress and pull the
game off with the way they've been playing, I.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
Have no idea, but like and I know this will
probably be one of the games we picked later on
and right now, Tampa's a three point favorite on DraftKings.
I have no idea we picked last week? Right?
Speaker 2 (29:23):
How do how do we do, Patty? How how were
our picks last week? I'm pretty certain I was pretty strong.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
I don't it sticks. I feel like I was pretty strong.
I mean, I know you picked the money line for
every single game. Yeah, yeah, yeah, So how do I
do y'all know, way to do a deep dive on
the research? And I did this money line up?
Speaker 2 (29:46):
I figure, I figure at this point in the year,
a lot of teams that should be favored to win
aren't being favored it because it's it's kind of too
hard to do it at this point. So I feel
like the money line picked is the safest way to
go right now. I mean, think about it. I mean,
who was picked to who were picked as favorites this
(30:09):
this past week?
Speaker 1 (30:10):
Did I am I seeing this correct? Did I push
on four games? Knocks? It doesn't even make sense. I
don't listen. I have no like, let Brady do the
math on this stuff. He'll he'll geek out on all this.
I have no idea that you guys threw in money
line as an option and it completely ruined poison movement.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
By the way, four and six, Okay, it's not good.
Should have been way better than that.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Well, I mean I think Tampa was.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
Trying to catch up on that. Yeah, I was trying
to catch up. I mean money line, and it just
it just gives me that that double my two for one,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (30:52):
Can I ask you a question. Look, I want to
be clear on this because I don't want to be disrespectful. Okay, okay,
because I the one thing I never do is say
somebody should be fired or call for somebody's job. I've
lost my job. It sucks, it's it's never a good thing.
I've lost my mind. I don't I don't care. Yeah,
it sucks. But I just want to ask you this,
(31:14):
based on how they've responded it, and by them, I
mean Tampa Bay, based on how they've responded since Todd
Bowles called him out the way he did. What does
that tell you about that situation? That they can't do
any better than what they're doing. But because I don't
think that it's they don't want to do it you
(31:35):
get called out, I don't think they're they're not doing
it because it's like, yeah, we're gonna we're going to
prove to Todd Bowles that we can be worse than
what he even thought we were. Like, I don't.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
I don't think they didn't take the challenge on to
try to turn things around. I just don't think that
they've been able to. I think that that's just what
it's been for it's not capable just not going their way.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
That's a problem, Yes, that's yes. And when you have
that type of a skit, it leaves marks. Oh yeah,
when you have that type of a skit from like
where you were at, like they were at the top
and they went down, I mean it was fast, like
you know, like, it leaves mark. You know who had
(32:20):
a kind of a similar fall in the middle of
a season, Philadelphia, And that was a team that had
just gone to a super Bowl and there were people
talking about Nick Sirianni losing this job. Yes they were
so I just wonder, and Albert Breer brought this up
as being a possibility a situation to watch. I just
wonder if we're seeing potentially the final game of the
(32:43):
Todd Bowles era in Tampa.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
I think if they make it to the playoffs, it's
a bigger conversation, you know what I mean, And not
in a bigger conversation as a negative. I think it's
just a bigger conversation in terms of you have a
little bit more ammunition. They won the division, they went
to the playoffs, but they did have a very very
serious concerning skit a slide during the course of this season.
(33:10):
Now are you basing this off of because they've had
a ton of injuries that they've had to overcome this year,
a lot of guys in and out of the lineup.
You got aging roster in some regards, but you still
have to be measured and judged off of the roster
that you put together.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
And this is a team that was playing very well.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
For quite some time and have now found themselves in
a position where they could actually lose the season.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
You're going to whoever wins this division, you're going to
be hosting a playoff game, and you're going to get
either Seattle or San Francisco, and.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
You're probably going to go home, just like we just
had the same conversation about Baltimore and Pittsburgh. But with
that being said, the playoffs are the playoffs, and in
a one game tournament, it's it's hard to say that
you can see exactly what an outcome is going to be.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
You're you're gonna get somebody from the NFC West, and
I don't care if it's the Niners, the Seahawks, or
the Rams. Either one of those teams is going to
open up this AFC South winner or the NFC South winner.
Whoa there, they're going to be I'm telling you, like,
(34:36):
this is so that's why I'm looking at this. It
reminds me of the AFC North where I'm looking at
it going sweet, you won the division, you get a
home playoff game. That's awesome. The fans will be excited,
you know, and you know people will You'll get to
sleep in your own beds and then that'll be it.
That's that. Yeah, that's it. Like I just I don't
(34:59):
I don't see it. And so, yeah, we're gonna get this.
And the fact, by the way, that this game is
being featured on Saturday as opposed to you know, like
NBC basically said, all right, so we can either have
Aaron Rodgers versus potentially Lamar Jackson on Sunday night, or
we could get the Bucks and the Panthers. Yeah, we'll
(35:20):
take Pittsburgh Baltimore in that matchup. And I'm with you
and you said this at the jump. I like Carolina
because I like the story. Nobody expected them to be here.
Everybody expected Tampa would have already wrapped this thing up. Yes,
so it makes me want to see Carolina pull this off.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Carolina is not a team to sneeze at anymore. They
almost who was that they played Seattle? Who did they
go on in Seattle? They almost pulled it out.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
Yeah, and they didn't play well on offense at all,
and they had a chance. They almost pulled it out.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
Man, it's not a bad team out It's a very
And I'm not feeling like I shouldn't believe in Bryce
Young either. I feel like he's coming along undersized, looks
like a little boy out there. But nonetheless that they
look like a better team, more more competitive, and more
(36:15):
interesting to watch. T Mac is a superstar in this
in this league. It's that'll continue to go up. There
are there are? I mean, it's a it's a pretty
decent team personnel wise. Looking at them, and listen, Tampa,
(36:36):
Like I said, this is a team that I didn't
know how good they could possibly be this year. They
came out the gate and they were proving you guys
right and maybe possibly proving me wrong because I didn't.
I just think that they're kind of aging. And I
don't know that you can continue to get it done
(36:57):
with Godwin. You could get it done with with Evans
and and and listen, you got a couple young ones
out there to go with them. But yeah, but I
just don't. I don't know that they have it offensive
line wise, I don't know that they have it. And
defense has been good at times but has been questionable
(37:20):
at times. So when you're looking at the overall I
guess picture of this Tampa Bay team where I'm at
right now, I'm more of a question mark on them.
An incomplete versus book is out, Like I don't know
that the book is out that maybe they come back
(37:40):
in this next game and they look, they show glimpses
of what they could possibly be, and then boom they
get into the playoffs. Maybe they get hot. And this
is uh, and this is a trivial conversation. It's of
no consequence, or it could be what maybe we're thinking
it is.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Which is what do you think is bad? Is gonna go?

Speaker 2 (39:32):
I got locked out of the house taking the trash
out from from Christmas, and let's just say I was
less than presentable to be outside and had to figure
out a way to.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
Get back into my house. What are you wearing nothing?
What do you mean? Damn? I was just running it out.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
You know, I sleep naked and no matter where I'm at,
because I get really hot.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
You're looking at me like that? Are you looking at
me like that? Jonas like you can't look at me
like that? After I said, I'm not sleep naked, but
that may be uncomfortable.
Speaker 2 (40:11):
Anyway, I was taking the trash out him and the.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
The combination pat locked the door and and so I
had to go. I had to choose one way or
the other. Do I go through the backyard. I could
be seen, I could be made so the neighbors can't
see you if you're a certain part of the certain
part either way.
Speaker 2 (40:36):
So I had to to figure it out. But that
was it was an ir moment. It was pretty intense.
I ended up going to the window hollering, you know,
and and got you have some assistance to be able
to go back through.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
But even that was a little bit.
Speaker 2 (40:51):
Uh. You know right, yeah, I mean that's like that
what I was just taking the trash out, you know,
like something like like has to be addressed so quickly,
like the the I had wings and the wings were
there overnight, you know how it has that and it's
(41:12):
like I got to run this out, like you don't
even think about it, just jumped up, run it out.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
You know. I'm by myself.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
I'm on the couch by myself, you know, in my blanket,
I'm wrapped up and everything. So it ain't like I'm
just like you know, but yeah, it worked out. But
it was just kind of like, yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (41:28):
Was a little chilli out for that too. It felt
good to me. You know, I'm fat, so you know,
you're a little thicker than I am.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
Not sure you go, so it cooled me off a little.
I mean, you know, like I ain't afraid of the
work though. I'll tell you that I was out there.
I was out there. I would naked.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
I mean, do you know how many there was probably
a neighbor looking over there going They probably had like
a camera, they got a camera that probably looks over
he honey, they got a batting cage over I said,
oh my zillo
Speaker 4 (42:03):
H.
