had with the World Cup. The other the other thing
is this, The fact that guys get punished when they
cover their mouth when they're talking to UH, a player
on the opposing team, is one of the wildest punishments
that I've heard. You can't cover your mouth and talk
trash like you can't. You can't say because they you know,

they they're it's frowned upon, So you get an automatic
red card. That's crazy, like that should be? Is it
better if you say it without covering your mouth like that?

anything that you spend your money on that some people
would be like, really you spent you.

Know, you stole my answer. Yeah, there's that. It's been
what it's been? How much? I just don't I look
at it.

I go, man, seven to ten thousand dollars could pay
for a lot, and I know, look, I know, you know, housing,
everything's got up in prices, But I just feel like
that money could be invested elsewhere.

And experiences are priceless though always. You know that that
car commercial where they're like this costs a hundred, this
costs a thousand dollars, this might cost a million dollars,
But an experience is priceless. Bro A real experience, a
memorable experience that's priceless. So you know, if you felt like,

this was that moment in time for you to get
that experience, whether it was pre game like what you
did before the game, the night before, the trip altogether.
Then you get there and it's the game itself, and
then what the game was like, and then you get
out of the game and it's what it was like
after the game, and even the day after, the whole

entire trip, the whole entire experience. Maybe to them was
I mean obviously not. Maybe it was worth ten grand
to them and that I mean, that's a lot of
money for a nosebleed tings.

Look, and maybe I don't have a good grasp on this,
just because if you were to describe he you want
to go watch people play soccer and speak Spanish, I'd
be like, yeah, that's you know, my wife's cousin.

We'll be over there and at three orty stupid maybe
right in the backyard.

And guess what, it doesn't cost me seven thousand dollars.

But with that being said, I mean I've been on
a lot of different sidelines and been at different sporting events,
even music events. It's just always I don't know. I've
just never for me, I've never been into spending money though,
So I don't know. S I wear the same mess
every day, I do the same stuff every day. I

don't really do much of anything at all except work.
I'm a workaholic. So I don't know. But I will
say this, if it's something that I wanted to do,
I want to be able to do it. So if
I did want to go fly to New York and
go or go to Jersey and see the game, I
would have found a way to go. If if my

wife and my kids, if they wanted to do it,
we would have found a way to go.

I mean, what would you be willing to pay? All right? Well, like,
what would the most you would be.

Willing to pay to go to the game yesterday to
watch Spain versus Argentina.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
That's what I'm saying. I wouldn't want to do it.
At all.

What would I have to pay is different than what
would I be willing to buy.

Now, look at it like.

This, look at it, and this is some wild stuff,
because this could this is the type of stuff that
happens in my life. You want to know why a
guy like me would go broke? You want to know
how I would go bankrupt? Okay, you're saying those are
ten thousand dollars. If my daughters wanted to go to
the game and they talked their mother into wanting to

go to the game, or my son and his girlfriend
was like, oh, they want to go to the game,
and then that meant that my other son wants to
go to the game.

So three daughters, one wife, two sons, and a girlfriend.

How many is that seven? Okay? Is that seven? Yeah? Okay,
seventy thousand dollars? And I have to go and I
have to go, and I have to go eighty thousand dollars.

Not just on tickets. Yeah, so but everybody has to
fly in. So now you're talking plane tickets, you're talking
hotel rooms, you're talking food.

Yeah, that's my reality.

It's just that that's why. And we've talked about this before.
The TV viewing experience at home is so good. Now
to leave me the hell alone experience is the best thing.

Yeah, I just I don't.

I don't see any sporting event and think to myself,
I gotta be there, live bro, I be stressed.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
Out Penn State, outside of Penn State because everybody knows me.
So I get my shuttle right up to the stadium,
I get out, I go to my tailgate, I do
my tailgate. My tailgate's right there, I walk right in.
Everybody knows me. We're all family. It's simple, but for

some strange reason, when people are with you, that acts
as stressful from day one to being finished. So my
wife and kids are there, it's stressful the whole entire time.
If it's any other sporting event where I don't have
that type of familiarity and set up, the whole thing
(11:53):
is stressful hot like and I say high level is
high level.

Stressiety, dude? Yeah, like trying to get in they bro.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
That's why my favorite sports venue is Wriggley Field where
the Cubs play, because the public transportation you can I.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Know the red line, I know where to get on.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
It drops you off literally right across the street from
the from the stadium.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
And if you have you.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Know, anything with you, if you if you have a kid,
and we took my son when he was real young,
we had a stroller with us. Literally there's a stroller
check right around the corner from the ballpark. Because it's
in Wrigley Fields in a community, like it's in like
a neighborhood, so it's so easy to get to to
navigate around you go to some of these other giant

stadiums like so far, like some of these massive stadiums.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Yeah, man, it is.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
It is anxiety and being at your tailgate and being
at your tailgate. That was easy because it's right across
the street street and and like literally right across from the.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Main And when we had to leave early to.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
Go back to the airport right there on the road
to go the straight, the shuttle took us right there.
So that's ideal. But those my people that I had
that came.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
And got you. Yeah see yeah bruh, they went straight.
They came.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
They because it's there's a barricade, like the ground raises,
like you can't get.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
Past this unless you're with the school.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
And then that barricade comes down and they'll come in
and they'll get you.

But there's up with us that thank you, it took
you straight straight to the Airport's super easy, easy button.
That's why I don't do not nowhere else. I don't
do nothing anywhere else. I love my people, man, they
love me.

But the problem with a lot of these new stadiums
is they're so difficult to get in and out of
us that I think that that's the other part that
people don't factor in is Man, there was a preseason
game a Niners was not it was Rams. I forget
who they were playing in a preseason game. Parking was

one hundred dollars for a preseason football game. And that's
not including what it is to get into the stadium,
to be able to navigate through La in traffic, and
it's just the whole thing's a pain in the aird.
That's why when they see these prices, people are paying.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
I went to a Rams game when Jay Loketto was
playing for Arizona and he invited us, and I was
it was super stressful. Yeah, it's just just crazy stressful.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
So when you bring up the point that, yeah, you're
talking ten thousand dollars a ticket. You're not factoring in
how many other people are going with you, the flight
to get in all of I don't understand when these
stadiums continue to get built. I don't understand how there
isn't more of an emphasis on, Hey, how can we
make this an easier experience for people to get in

an ad of Look, Dodger Stadium is awesome. Dodger Stadium
is a pain in the ass to get in and
out of. Like, and that's why when people criticize Dodger
fans and they say.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Well, you know, you you arrive late and you leave early.
You kind of have to.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Like if you if you're working or you're trying to
get something done, by the time you get on the
road and you're stuck in traffic to try and battle
stadium way to get to the to get to the ballpark,
it's a pain in the ass. And then to get
through it, they should build it in the sky, just
less traffic. Build it in the sky, or build it underground,

you know what I mean, Build it and then you
can part you know, and then it's like you got
to go into it.

So it's kind of not the same.

But That's why people stay home and watch games. That's
why if you have a good TV setup, if you
have if you have working through my head right now,
you have a good If it was in the sky,
they would wouldn't be able to breathe. It'd be like
playing in mau High if it was underground. Does it
really make it easier to get into it? Probably not,

by the way. You know, the older I get, the
more I understand the man cave because there's something so
safe about it.

Yeah, and comfortable, and it's exactly how you want it.

And it doesn't matter where it is.

Like you say man cave, like you could turn your
garage into a man cave. Like my next door neighbor
has a man cave where he's got his weights in there,
he's got his music in there, and he's got his
TV in there, and he's got this thing. We ended
up going and getting some because you see him. I
drive by, I see him. He just sits in his
driveway just rocking. They got these like beach seats that

are like rocking chairs. So now I got I got
me a couple, Like I'd go down to the beach.
I just be rocking like a motherfucker.

Like, why do it now?

Man? Would I be watching the games, I'd be watching.
I'd be sitting there watching them games. I'd be rocking
like crazy. Bruh. There's something about rocking yourself that totally
like satisfies whatever it is I got going on.

experience as good as the at home or close to
as good as the at home experience.

the prices they do to go to some of these games.

but the nfl PA they have figured out a solution
because you know, they're not happy about the fact that

the World Cup had all these great grass surfaces that
they were playing in.

So the nfl PA they launched a social media campaign
with the hashtag worth the cost, with numerous players calling
for natural grass to be installed in all stadiums instead
of turf.

So I'm sure that's going to get it done. I'm
sure that'll that'll be the one that convinces owners. It's
that that big social media campaign they came up with.
Sure that'll be the one. Okay, it's all right man,
all right, guys, how about the next time you're you're
trying to get a new CBA or you're trying to
you know, argue for something, how about you do it

then and don't take to social media before were then
you know, like like if they're going to stand your ground,
stand your ground with the negotiations, not on social media,
because the owners don't give a crap, they don't care.
They're not they're not reading your social media thinking, you
know what, we've got to go ahead and put natural
grass in, because those guys took to Instagram and TikTok

to let us know they're not happy. Like it just
it feels like you're you're you continue to go down
this road and it's not going to fix anything.

think it hit him in the lake, right, and that's

what cost him his life. And that was what's crazy.
I think that was almost twenty years ago now at
this point. But so when you see these athletes where
you know, home gets broken into.

And we talk, you know, Joe, take that lightly.

It just it's almost it happens so much now that
you're almost burglars cowards. Ye, so more often than not
they know you're not there, and and God blessed them
being cowards, because you wouldn't want a Sean Taylor's situation.

Like even if even if the report came back, robbers
go into the house, Saquon and family are there, Saquon
whoops their ass? Like do you understand, first of all,
that's you're already impacted, whether you were there or not
when somebody breaks in that Like, I wouldn't even go
back into a house. You break into my house, I'm

not even I don't even want to live there anymore.
But that's why I got I had big dogs on everything,
like I have big dogs everybody always.

Why you get such big dogs. Why don't you get
like a lap dog.

I get big dogs because to me, cowards are are burglars.
And if you have a dog that will crush your
arm if you come in there and bite.

then you know, we got to take it from there
and figure out what happens from there. And chances are

Not only is the cameras on your house catching catching
the people that are going into the home, but there's
other homes that are catching what's going on as well.

They obviously by the time they got called, they had
taken off, uh, And they're trying to work to see

have a ring community, Like my wife is a part
of a ring community where they post like suspicious people
or this, that and the other. And one thing I
love about you know, like in my community growing up,
snitching you don't you don't. You don't snitch like somebody

does something. It's like street politics, like we're gonna handle
it out in the streets.

In the life I live now.

You you walk on the street and you've never walked
on that street before.

You see all my neighbors. They all look at ship.
That's what they should do.

had emergency vehicle. Even on me, I got an emergency.
They thought my house was on fire and we were
just on our rooftop lounge with a fire pit, but
they thought the house was on fire.

Kat walk up down the street that they don't look familiar.
You'll see a cop car. Literally two three minutes later,
you'll see a cop car. Good, I'll know where I
came from. But I will say this. I will say this.
You might not see a cop car come, but you
will see the cousin and the uncle or the nephew.

They might they might pop.

Up because you know the other part of it, and
they might pop up. So they you know, attempted burglary.
It doesn't happen.

It's like, oh you know they those guys ran off
and you mentioned I wouldn't even go back into the house.

You got to think his wife and his how many
kids to say one? Does he have two kids? I
want to say he has one, but one on way?

halving kids in that happen. Those kids are gonna be traumatized.

Oh yeah, Now in every shadow, every every noise, you
hear everything.

Yes, because because a couple of man, if they understand it,
if they understand, they're old enough to understand it.

some way, somehow I went in there and I think
my dad had ate a piece of it. There was
like two pieces left, smashed them and I ain't think
nothing of it. But I left the box with no

pizza in it in the refrigerated such a tease.

I go back to my room. My dad would have
lost it. I hear him going down the hallway.

I'm like, oh, I left his pizza empty in the

fall in So we ran into the kitchen. We had

and were standing there with our hands to our side.

don't even like that type pizza. So I just went straight.

because he was last, he froze up. Because it's like, well,

Waimo locked two fifteen year olds in the vehicle until
authorities showed up. The camera inside the car caught the
kids drinking alcohol and shooting what seemed to be a
gun out the window. So when they pulled over, they

told the kids that there has been a technical difficulty
with the cars, and then they realized it was actually
just a stall for the cops to show up. They
only had little waterbead guns, it wasn't an actual gun,
and the boys were released to their parents.

is this, The fact that guys get punished when they

on the opposing team, is one of the wildest punishments

red card. That's crazy, like that should be? Is it

that money could be invested elsewhere.

And experiences are priceless though always. You know that that
car commercial where they're like this costs a hundred, this
costs a thousand dollars, this might cost a million dollars,
But an experience is priceless. Bro A real experience, a
memorable experience that's priceless. So you know, if you felt like,

this was that moment in time for you to get
that experience, whether it was pre game like what you
did before the game, the night before, the trip altogether.
Then you get there and it's the game itself, and
then what the game was like, and then you get
out of the game and it's what it was like
after the game, and even the day after, the whole

entire trip, the whole entire experience. Maybe to them was
I mean obviously not. Maybe it was worth ten grand
to them and that I mean, that's a lot of
money for a nosebleed tings.

Look, and maybe I don't have a good grasp on this,
just because if you were to describe he you want
to go watch people play soccer and speak Spanish, I'd
be like, yeah, that's you know, my wife's cousin.

I'm a workaholic. So I don't know. But I will
say this, if it's something that I wanted to do,
I want to be able to do it. So if
I did want to go fly to New York and
go or go to Jersey and see the game, I
would have found a way to go. If if my

wife and my kids, if they wanted to do it,
we would have found a way to go.

I mean, what would you be willing to pay? All right? Well, like,
what would the most you would be.

Willing to pay to go to the game yesterday to
watch Spain versus Argentina.

What would I have to pay is different than what
would I be willing to buy.

Now, look at it like.

because this could this is the type of stuff that
happens in my life. You want to know why a
guy like me would go broke? You want to know
how I would go bankrupt? Okay, you're saying those are
ten thousand dollars. If my daughters wanted to go to
the game and they talked their mother into wanting to

go to the game, or my son and his girlfriend
was like, oh, they want to go to the game,
and then that meant that my other son wants to
go to the game.

So three daughters, one wife, two sons, and a girlfriend.

seventy thousand dollars? And I have to go and I

Not just on tickets. Yeah, so but everybody has to
fly in. So now you're talking plane tickets, you're talking
hotel rooms, you're talking food.

Yeah, that's my reality.

It's just that that's why. And we've talked about this before.
The TV viewing experience at home is so good. Now
to leave me the hell alone experience is the best thing.

I don't see any sporting event and think to myself,
I gotta be there, live bro, I be stressed.

Out Penn State, outside of Penn State because everybody knows me.
So I get my shuttle right up to the stadium,
I get out, I go to my tailgate, I do
my tailgate. My tailgate's right there, I walk right in.
Everybody knows me. We're all family. It's simple, but for

some strange reason, when people are with you, that acts
as stressful from day one to being finished. So my
wife and kids are there, it's stressful the whole entire time.
If it's any other sporting event where I don't have
that type of familiarity and set up, the whole thing

is stressful hot like and I say high level is
high level.

Stressiety, dude? Yeah, like trying to get in they bro.

That's why my favorite sports venue is Wriggley Field where
the Cubs play, because the public transportation you can I.

Know the red line, I know where to get on.

It drops you off literally right across the street from
the from the stadium.

And if you have you.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Know, anything with you, if you if you have a kid,
and we took my son when he was real young,
we had a stroller with us. Literally there's a stroller
check right around the corner from the ballpark. Because it's
in Wrigley Fields in a community, like it's in like
a neighborhood, so it's so easy to get to to
navigate around you go to some of these other giant

stadiums like so far, like some of these massive stadiums.

Yeah, man, it is.

It is anxiety and being at your tailgate and being
at your tailgate. That was easy because it's right across
the street street and and like literally right across from the.

Main And when we had to leave early to.

Go back to the airport right there on the road
to go the straight, the shuttle took us right there.
So that's ideal. But those my people that I had
that came.

And got you. Yeah see yeah bruh, they went straight.
They came.

They because it's there's a barricade, like the ground raises,
like you can't get.

Past this unless you're with the school.

And then that barricade comes down and they'll come in
and they'll get you.

But there's up with us that thank you, it took
you straight straight to the Airport's super easy, easy button.
That's why I don't do not nowhere else. I don't
do nothing anywhere else. I love my people, man, they
love me.

But the problem with a lot of these new stadiums
is they're so difficult to get in and out of
us that I think that that's the other part that
people don't factor in is Man, there was a preseason
game a Niners was not it was Rams. I forget
who they were playing in a preseason game. Parking was

one hundred dollars for a preseason football game. And that's
not including what it is to get into the stadium,
to be able to navigate through La in traffic, and
it's just the whole thing's a pain in the aird.
That's why when they see these prices, people are paying.

I went to a Rams game when Jay Loketto was
playing for Arizona and he invited us, and I was
it was super stressful. Yeah, it's just just crazy stressful.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
So when you bring up the point that, yeah, you're
talking ten thousand dollars a ticket. You're not factoring in
how many other people are going with you, the flight
to get in all of I don't understand when these
stadiums continue to get built. I don't understand how there
isn't more of an emphasis on, Hey, how can we
make this an easier experience for people to get in

an ad of Look, Dodger Stadium is awesome. Dodger Stadium
is a pain in the ass to get in and
out of. Like, and that's why when people criticize Dodger
fans and they say.

Well, you know, you you arrive late and you leave early.

I think that was almost twenty years ago now at
this point. But so when you see these athletes where
you know, home gets broken into.

It just it's almost it happens so much now that
you're almost burglars cowards. Ye, so more often than not
they know you're not there, and and God blessed them
being cowards, because you wouldn't want a Sean Taylor's situation.

Like even if even if the report came back, robbers
go into the house, Saquon and family are there, Saquon
whoops their ass? Like do you understand, first of all,
that's you're already impacted, whether you were there or not

back into a house. You break into my house, I'm

not even I don't even want to live there anymore.
But that's why I got I had big dogs on everything,

And if you have a dog that will crush your

Not only is the cameras on your house catching catching
the people that are going into the home, but there's
other homes that are catching what's going on as well.

They obviously by the time they got called, they had
taken off, uh, And they're trying to work to see

or this, that and the other. And one thing I
love about you know, like in my community growing up,
snitching you don't you don't. You don't snitch like somebody

it out in the streets.

You you walk on the street and you've never walked
on that street before.

You see all my neighbors. They all look at ship.
That's what they should do.

had emergency vehicle. Even on me, I got an emergency.
They thought my house was on fire and we were
just on our rooftop lounge with a fire pit, but
they thought the house was on fire.

Kat walk up down the street that they don't look familiar.
You'll see a cop car. Literally two three minutes later,
you'll see a cop car. Good, I'll know where I
came from. But I will say this. I will say this.
You might not see a cop car come, but you
will see the cousin and the uncle or the nephew.

They might they might pop.

Up because you know the other part of it, and
they might pop up. So they you know, attempted burglary.

You got to think his wife and his how many
kids to say one? Does he have two kids? I

halving kids in that happen. Those kids are gonna be traumatized.

hear everything.

Yes, because because a couple of man, if they understand it,

two three pieces left of that pizza. For some reason,
some way, somehow I went in there and I think
my dad had ate a piece of it. There was
like two pieces left, smashed them and I ain't think
nothing of it. But I left the box with no

pizza in it in the refrigerated such a tease.

I go back to my room. My dad would have
lost it. I hear him going down the hallway.

I'm like, oh, I left his pizza empty in the
door opened.

Nobody answers. He's like, get up, get up, everybody up,
fall in So we ran into the kitchen. We had
to fall in line. So it's like we're like Drillzard
and were standing there with our hands to our side.
Who ain't my pizza? Looked at Pooh like Pooh, it's

like that. You know, I'm not eating your pizza. I
don't even like that type pizza. So I just went straight.
I'm gonna repeat what he said, and I'm gonna say
it's quickly shot. Nope, you know I wouldn't eat your pizza. Eric,
the baby froze. He froze up. He froze up, and
because he was last, he froze up. Because it's like, well,

how am I supposed to answer? Both of them just
said they didn't eat the pizza. He's doing the math
and I didn't need it, but they're saying they didn't
need So he looked at my dad. He was like
I ain't needed but my dad looked at him like
you paused, like there's too much time in between you.

this stuff.

Well, I saw this cool Waymos story the other day.
You know how much I love our weymos God, so
uh they're actually cracking down. Two weekends ago here in California,
Waimo locked two fifteen year olds in the vehicle until
authorities showed up. The camera inside the car caught the
kids drinking alcohol and shooting what seemed to be a
gun out the window. So when they pulled over, they

told the kids that there has been a technical difficulty
with the cars, and then they realized it was actually
just a stall for the cops to show up. They
only had little waterbead guns, it wasn't an actual gun,
and the boys were released to their parents.

Also, if you bring like a water pistol into a weymouth,
they'll shut it down.
