with Wes Borland, who's the guitarist for Limp Biscuit, and
he said they are the biggest now that they've ever been.
All of these bands and acts from like twenty five

Touring ha hurt Limp Biscuit in the Wow. Well, I say,
like all the name I hadn't even heard, but all.

Of these acts have now started to tour again and
they're selling out arenas all over the world there and
making a fortune because that's really the only way you
can really make money, that was by touring. Coop, you
know what I'm talking about. I saw Limp Biscuit for
the first time like two years ago, really awesome. It

Badass, Like that's crazy two years ago, Like he was
relevant two years ago.

It's like they're looking around going, yeah, we don't know
what happened. Even said the interviews, I don't know why.
He's all just all of a sudden, which just became nostalgia.
And for you know, nostalgia's pop back up and people.

He sure is, and that's somebody is the one and
only Lebron James. Yeah, that's right, Lebron James. Yeah, the
the pride of Akron, Ohio, who has moved around in
all sorts of different places all throughout the last twenty

plus years to.

Well Cleveland, yes, Miami, right, Cleveland.

Yeah, well two, so let me say two different places
outside of Cleveland, So Miami and La So three, three teams.

All together, I mean, you know, and and by the way,
Lebron James and uh, you know Brady Quinn who supports
and uh and pounds the drum for Ohio. It should
be pointed out, Lebron James grew up in Ohio. Cowboy fan,
Yankee fan.

So that for all, for all the that I get,
for all the grief that I get, that's a guy
in your own backyard that cheering for the Yankees and
cheering for the Cowboys just want.

To be It is interesting you bring this up only
because of your fandom for the Penguins, the Celtics, the
Chicago the Chicago Bears. For a guy who never grew
up anywhere other than California. So I'm not sure why
you are pointing, you know you're you're putting Lebron James
and across.

How's that doing at the top, Just saying it feels
like feeling something changed recently and all of a sudden,
there's there's no music at the top of the charts.

Well, there's really no more rap music, so the genre
has changed now. Rich Paul was talking with Max Kellerman
on their podcast about the because there's people are waiting
around going, hey man, what's what's going on here? Are
we going to get this done? When's he going to
make his choice? When's he going to make his decision?

The Miami Heat actually had a little bit of an
issue to where somebody on their social media team or
you know, their streaming team, accidentally sent out a link
to a Lebron James presser set for July twenty seventh.
The Heat had to come out publicly and say, well, no,
that was a mistake. That was they were just in
preparation in case Lebron does join the heat and it

was a mistake and it went out whatever that means.
But Rich Paul, his agent, was talking with Max Kellerman
and the discussion became what's taken so long? And the
teams that they've heard of heard from that want to
know is there anything they can do to try and
move this over the goal line.

The commissioner of the league is saying, hey, you do
have just as you've mentioned, Rich, this enormous influence on
our TV schedule.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
There are people waiting you.

Isn't there is a case there that he does.

Need to I saw Adam in New York and we
discussed it, and like I.

Said, it's still his choice. So if he doesn't really know,
I can't rush it.

So right now he gets aware of this that he's
not there.

Yet and we're not gonna be rushed. It doesn't matter.

I don't want to sit here and sound I just
say we're not going to be rushed.

It is his choice to make, and when he makes
the choice, he's making There's been several people to call.

And say, hey, Rich, is there anything more.

We should be doing, we could be doing, And my
answer is no, we don't need you to go above
and beyond about anything.

We understand it. It's clear all the messages have been.

Said, they want to send me floor tickets. I can
see what I need influence, we get it.

And again there's roster spots.

Does not feeled right If they want to feel their
roster spots, we're not saying don't feel your roster spots.

So that is the the very latest as they take
their time and to milk this for all it's worth.
Lebron James's final free agency decision of his career.

So what do you guys think he's contemplated right now?
Sounds like Miami.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
I just don't think that gets him there though not
so much where, but like what like like what's making
the decision for him?

Speaker 3 (09:35):
I think that he's I think he probably has a
at least an idea it's you know, one or two teams.
It's Miami or Cleveland most likely. And I don't know
that this is necessarily a family decision. I still think
he's a little bit shook by the fact that the

Lakers decided we're going in another direction and you can
go figure this thing out on your own. I think
I think his expectation was that, of course they would
want me back, of course we would do this again.
For for all everything we've heard he likes La, he doesn't,
you know, That's why this story came out. Stay in
La traveled a Golden state back and forth for games

up in the Bay Area. I think that he's, you know,
maybe that's why he's acting out and doing, you know,
whatever he's doing publicly and behaving the way he's behaving.
I think he's trying to sort of gather himself because
I don't think that he really wanted this to be
the direction he was taking this offseason.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Lebron has always been a leader. So taking the reframe
of of how I took it in context of the question,
I would say a say, a voice, some autonomy within
within the organization and the team that he goes and
plays for. I think that that would be a driving

for worse because I I would ultimately think that the
team he chooses in his mind, he believes what he
brings to the table mentally and experience wise, would most
likely be a major factor and a difference for that
team's level of success. So I think his motivation would be,

I'm going somewhere where my voice is respected, where me
being here is respected, and and I'm.

Able to have a say.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
Which there's that's I would assume that's only going to
be a small amount of teams that would be available
to him where he could just come in and have
the Lebron Lebron presence.

Yeah, does that make sense? Yeah, no, it definitely makes sense. Yeah, Brady,
there could be some other stuff. Yeah, yeah, I just.

I don't know too deep.

I guess My point is this is you've been in
the You've been in this game for so long that
at this juncture, is it just about winning championships. If
that's the case, you know, there's probably two, maybe three
teams you're looking at right now that you would be
contemplating between and some of the and some of the

pieces With Cleveland Miami, you've been there, You've won championships there.
So I do wonder what the attraction is to both
those spots.

Speaker 6 (12:38):
Is it the familiarity.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Is it the fact that you feel like what they
have on the roster, and that's that gives you comfort
in being able to make it through the East is
the east and not having it to the west, which
I think we'd both agree when we're talking about this initially.

Speaker 6 (12:53):
You know, San Antonio is one of those teams.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Okay, See he's one of those teams that they might
look at them and maybe they're not even in the conversation,
but they're definitely tough to have to beat to get through.
So as you looking at the east thing and this
is the easier path, or does he look at someplace
like Golden State like you're saying, Jonas and maybe he
wants to stay in la and commute however that would work,

but also there's something that could be refreshing, something that
would be you know.

New and different.

But to the LaVar's point, I mean, he just you know,
I wonder how deeply he's getting into this situation.

You know, it's definitely starting to bubble up. Oh gosh,

heat to a title contender. I just think that there's
there's other things that that may may influence his decision.

I just don't it's coming to the back door, even
like the the way he wants to do it, because it.

Feels like he's being more you know, front facing, though, I.

be a free agent this offseason?

Huh? Well, I mean because he still has a kid
in school, is what you're saying. Well, I think that
he's going to have to like is the family traveling
with him or aren't they like staying put because one
is in school?

Maybe I think that this was the first time in
his career that somebody told him we're moving on, dude,
We're going in another direction. We're going to hand the
keys to the franchise over to somebody else.

How how many years has he been playing? Twenty nine
something like that?

I mean, if at this point in your career somebody
said they're moving on from you and you're still a
top ten player considered in the league. I wouldn't take
too much offense to that, especially after I just carried
gasses in in the playoffs. I wouldn't take too much
offense to it. I just wouldn't.

Also, do you think that he's like what would be
rich Paul's talking about he's going to take his time,
going to take his time, but they're all about you know,
the buzz, the marketing, the you know, the promotion of
this whole thing. Try I think he's really taking his time. Well,
but training camp starts what this weekend? Right, Okay, so

once the nfls gets here in training camps going on,
I feel like this maybe should have all been handled
and sorted out, you know, earlier, because I don't I
don't think it's going to have the impact that maybe
they think it's going to. It's not gonna be. I
don't think they're looking for an impact. I think really no,
they're always looking for I think he's looking for it too.

He's already impactful. He saw those pictures. Always go for
an impact. So I mean, if you're gonna you know,

you guys had a chance to talk about I have.
It is Spain plays like a style of soccer that
I like, for the outsider, is not very entertaining to
watch because they just possessed the ball and they're they're
going to do that and they're going to take it
away from you, and they're going to hold the ball
the entire game and try to wait for those you know,

handful of opportunities they get to go score and ultimately
they ended up, you know, winning. It was helpful they
had to play against ten men. But you know, that's
that's that's a style. You know, there's there's many countries,
many teams out there that that's their whole goal is
finding that kind of leading that possession, trying to find
ways to find creases in the defense to take their

opportunities on whether it's transitions or set pieces, and that's
how they go about doing it.

But it is the same way. The problem is Italy
just never makes the World Cup, so you know, doesn't
work out for him.

Well, And you have to have a dude, you know,
you have to have a score. I don't care if
it's you know, Messi or Holland or you know Ronaldo
or you mean, like you you have to have a
dude who's going to draw attention. I mean, and that
goes for every resport, right, Like, I think that's how
we look at it, Like the Knicks winning Jalen Brunson
was that dude.

That makes a huge difference though, in particular in soccer,
because you only get a handful of opportunities and that
guy he has to be able to either create them.

And if you don't have that guy, it becomes a
really tough watch because you know you're gonna have some
opportunities and you just have guys who can't figure.
