Sports Radio eight seven seven nine six three six nine.
Your opportunity to react to the most inclusive national anthem,
humbly ever created in the history of mankind. Here is
a shortened version of the White, the Black, the Asian,
and the Hispanic national anthem. Let's go right Sunday, Come Star,

(01:27):
Come Star. He got jugging judge. I don't see how
anybody could kneel. I don't see how anybody could stay
in the locker room. I think we might have just
brought America together. It's for the start of football games.
I am play Travis. This is out Kicked the Coverage.
The phone number is eight seven seven nine six three

(01:49):
six nine. If you're just waking up with us, we
gotta loaded show for you. Jeff Schwartz is gonna be
on next. But the President of the United States, Donald Trump,
is scheduled to be with US at eight a m.
Eastern UH live on the program for his second visit
with the show. We're gonna talk about the return of
the Big ten. The White House is working. I'm told
to try to get the Pack twelve back. The Mountain

(02:09):
West is potentially coming back. All sports roaring together. By
the way, we've just tied off in the US Open.
I'm gonna be asking the President what he thinks about
winged foot, what he expects to see uh from golfers.
Tiger Woods will tee off while we are talking with
the President of the United States. That will be next hour.
If you are busy, I understand a lot of you
listen on your way into work. You can certainly make

(02:32):
sure that that you download the podcast. You'll be able
to listen to us anywhere. You can always stream us
as well. I appreciate the three D plus a m
FM stations UH that carry the show in all fifty
states were on satellite radio. But if you're going into
the office and you want to stream us, or you're
you know, not able to have a great signal from
whatever radio station you listen on, Fox Sports Radio dot

(02:55):
Com is always an easy way You can also listen
on the I Heart Radio app, but I encourage all
of you to go download the podcast and make sure
you have access to everything that we have on the
show on a regular basis. FRANKI solisaid he was gonna
stand for the national anthem if they played all of
this again. If you're just starting off your morning with us.
UH I humbly voted that the white national anthem would

(03:17):
be sweet. Caroline Uh. Roberto made the draft pick on
behalf of Hispanic people. He took the Hispanic national anthem
as wars low Rider, the Asian national anthem based on
calls that we got from Asian people yesterday, Gingham style
and the Black national anthem flow riders, apple bottom jeans.
Potentially a controversial decision there. Uh. In general, we have

(03:40):
got open phone lines at eight seven seven nine six
three six nine, and I believe we go to the
OutKick v i P line first. You can sign up
and be an OutKick v I P. All you have
to do is go to OutKick dot com, get an autograph,
copy of my book, access to our message board. I'm
actually recording a podcast with a buddy of mine UH tonight,
and we gave ten Nashville area OutKick v i P.

(04:00):
S uh the ability to come watch that podcast interview live. Uh,
so that is pretty cool. You never know when good
options are going to be available to you as a
part of being an OL kick v I P. Who's
up first, Danny G Brian in Vermont, Brian and Vermont,
thanks for being an OL kick v I P. What
you got for me? Hey, Clary major prompts for the
Big ten. I think you were probably the first one,

(04:22):
uh to be screaming loud from the top of the
hill about the big chen man. You got the presser
on your side. That's that's just amazing. But one of
the big favorite I got serious sex and Miriam my
car and show off this horrible show that comes on.
Why can't we have your show up? Buddy? Yeah? Thanks,
you know that's a question we get from a lot

(04:43):
of people. And so the Fox Sports Radio satellite radio
channel is channel eighty three, okay, UM that is primarily
a television simulcast of radio. So they put on like
Undisputed with Skip Baylor for three hours as opposed to
the Dan Patrick Show for instance, UM, and later on

(05:06):
my television show is on there in in opposition to Gottlieb. So, uh,
I believe we're on channel two oh two all three hours,
Is that right? Uh? Danny g Yeah, correct for people
out there, So the first hour and a half of
my show is on channel eighty three. But if you're
listening to us right now on satellite radio and you're like, man,

(05:27):
why do they chop it off? It's because they put
the television shows on. All right, I will tell you this.
At some point, I think out Kick will have our
own satellite radio channel and you'll be able to listen
to our show for twenty four hours a day, all
the different programming that we're creating at out Kick. I
think we're headed in that direction. But in the meantime

(05:49):
from six to seven thirty am Eastern, you can hear
us on channel eighty three, but all three hours every
day are on channel two oh two. If you are
a satellite radio listener, we get that question a lot,
And obviously the television schedule has been chopped up, so
they used to have two and a half hours of
our program because they cut back on television programming during

(06:11):
covid UH from March April May June July August, a
lot of you got used to listening to pretty much
the entirety of the show. Just so you know, they've
changed that in the last month. They expanded television programming
a little bit. That's a lot of a background, but
that's the answer. We get that question a lot. You
see that question a lot to Danny g Right. It
gets tweeted to us every day, every every day. So

(06:33):
two o two, Uh and uh, look, I want us
to have all three hours on the same channel. You
can get that at two o two. I'd love to
have a twenty four hour out Kick satellite radio channel.
And I believe that the way we're growing an out
Kick that could potentially become a reality in the near future.
Just f y, I alright? Uh? Dub eight seven seven

(06:53):
six three six nine. Who's up first? Dub Well First
is one of our favorite guests of all time. Walking
Willie to New Orleans walking Willie, my man? How are
you doing? Hey? Y'all wrong for that y'all roll? Where
you got me out of my dog castle? Mastor I'm around.
I don't think I'm thinking about the Rocky who you

(07:15):
know is buy We're in that American Uh Sam? But yeah, cool?
But I got my match. But that's what everybody, not
the new is to get up and bounce around, be happy,
be excited. That's what we're trying to do. We're trying
to unite everybody before a football game. What you're you're

(07:37):
you just turned eighty walking welly down to New Orleans.
What would you suggest, based on your life experience, would
be the perfect black national anthem? What is your favorite
song that gets you hyped that feels connected to Black America.
I had to get out of that Mattris that cancer
Mertris and that's one of the best season. Man. I

(08:01):
might be a bouncing a well. It's like I was
just so but I couldn't stand. I couldn't. I mean
I just got up and trying to take it an
You couldn't. You can't. You can't not dance to the
medley we just put together. Nobody can kneel. Nobody can kneel,

(08:21):
you know, like, this is all I did. Want to
watch the football and I do the create. I said,
you got it made, but just just telling the truth
and know if and what about it? Crazy? Keep on.
I've been new shirt, but make you that what the

(08:41):
president of you thank you for the call. Willie. Let
me know what you think from the interview. Again, the
President's gonna be on with us in about fifty minutes.
Another v I P. Who's up on the V I
P line? Shane in New York, Shane and New York,
what do you think my man play? I wanted to
talk a little Big ten football, but I'll touch based

(09:02):
on the anthems. I'm probably gonna kneel for a sweet
care Lions and I'm hing shnakey fan. I'm sorry, Ah,
that's a good point. The Yankee fans are not happy
because the Red Sox are obviously that's their anthem. Yeah,
I can see that as a Yankee fan. How excited
are you, by the way, Shane, for the return of
Big ten football? Well, if I was Asian, I'm jumping
up and down. You don't have to be Asian every

(09:22):
I think we have put together a mix that if
it came on in the club, the dance floor would befall.
That's all I'm saying, Like nobody's gonna be back. You know,
the right songs come on, everybody fills into the dance floor.
I think we've managed to put it together. Awesome, awesome,
Um Listen, man, if you look up in Wikilipedia the
term dumpster fire, you're gonna find the Big Ten season

(09:46):
filled with chaos, lies, confusion, no transparency, and politically driven. Um.
I mean they had high school football being played, but
universities with world class medical facilities for or not. Dr
Sabotage I call him from Tenth State lied about myertar
cardiitis stats. You had the A D S and presidents.

(10:08):
There was a vote, there wasn't a vote, there was
a vote, and then probably the kingpin my school, dr
um president Schizl. He did not respond to any messages
Hardball was sending him, didn't visit the facility. The players
did you the protocols in Michigan since October August one

(10:31):
has had tests with zero positive cases. So um, we
can thank the players, the families, the coaches, um, the
donors with the deep pockets that were coming down hard
on these radical presidents. We can thank Clay Travis, Donald J. Trump,

(10:52):
And I'll give some credit to Warren. He somewhat redeemed himself,
although he was kind of treated as a puppet by
the presidents. But yes, I'm be on pump. I can't
wait for October twenty four, Go Blue Baby, Thank you.
My wife is a Michigan grad, so she's excited about this,
although she pointed out that it probably means we're gonna
lose to and by we, I mean her, We're gonna

(11:13):
lose to Ohio State again. You know, the world is
upside down in when the biggest, one of the biggest
saviors of the Big Ten season is Clay Travis. I
mean that is totally unexpected. Uh, but I'm so excited
that the Big Ten eventually got it right after all
the chaos. Who's up next? Dub all right, we got
Terry in Ohio? Terry, what you got for me? Kert Martin? Sir,

(11:37):
how are you today? I'm excellent, appreciate it. All right, Hey,
couple good things. Glad you got the president back on again.
I heard the original interview. That was an awesome interview
that you did. Also, I'm glad that you got Big
Ten football back. Even though I live in Ohio, I'm
an SEC guy. I know that the SEC is the
best football conference dan down, So I don't know what

(11:59):
the Big Ten was thinking. That was kind of idiotic
of them. And also, just let's know, I believe it's
channel to sixteen is your serious channel, because I listened
to you all the time, and that's stupid. Whatever first thing,
first thing comes on, it's I have no idea what
it even is. They're silly for free empting you on
the radio, but that's up to them. So I have

(12:20):
a great show, sir, appreciate that. I think. Look, I
am uh, you know, humble. Don't ever try to bring
attention to myself the fact that this show just frankly
isn't simulcast. Now, the downside would be I'd have to
comb my hair, I might have to shave more regularly.
I don't mind sitting in my home studio without a

(12:40):
television camera on me, where I can just sit and
talk to you guys. But when you look at the
millions of people who are downloading this show on podcast,
when you look at the amount of growth that this
show has, there should be media companies lining up to
throw money at me to have make me get up
earlier and occasionally shave and uh and and put on

(13:04):
pants like they should be begging me in this day
and age, when like it's almost impossible to create an audience.
We've got millions of you out there every month a
new million of you who are finding this show and
listening to it. It's crazy to me. And now this
is one reason why I've made a lot of money
because we've created OutKick obviously as a larger brand. We've

(13:24):
got a ton of employees. Now, we've got a lot
of awesome things rolling with it. The audience is just huge.
Jason Whitlock coming on board has been massive for that.
But the reason why OutKick is such a success is
because other media executives have been not smart enough to
monetize OutKick. So I said, screw it, we'll do it ourselves. Um.
And but anyway, I agree with you. I think it's crazy,

(13:45):
like not only so it maybe to sixteen two, I'm
not sure. A lot of people tell us different numbers
to sixteen to twenty. Whole show for OutKick is on
on satellite radio. First half is definitely on channel eight three. Yeah,
we've had listeners tell us too, oh to to six
and then obviously, like you said, the beginning of the
show on Easy Solution, honestly serious XM should be coming

(14:07):
to us and saying, hey, we want to have an
out Kick exclusive channel. What can you do to make
that happen, and we could put together twenty four hours
of programming that you guys would absolutely love and a
lot of people I think would be excited to have
that option on serious XM. But that is uh and
by the way, I'm not trying to in any way say.

(14:28):
We also were on in all fifty states on three
plus a MFM station. So thank you to all the
people who carry us out there where I know many
of you are listening to us right now across the country.
Dub who's up next? We got Eric in California, Eric
in California, fire away. Yeah, I'm coming about the Black
National Anthem. Now, years ago, there was when the illegal

(14:51):
immigration topic was hot. Uh, there was a producer, a
music producer came out with the Spanish version of the
national anthem. Now, don't get me wrong, that was against
it and it was a terrible song. But then the
politician got so mad about it they passed an amendment banning,
uh the plane of any other version than English. Uh.

(15:13):
Was it the Star Spangled banner in Spanish? I think yeah, yeah,
as if I remember correctly, that's what it was. But um,
my thing is okay, Well, now that there's a Black
national anthem that apparently there is now that I didn't
know about. Well, they need to go back and and
retract that amendment because well, that's a double standard right there.

(15:35):
Well that's why we take Yeah, thanks for the call. Well,
that's why we're eliminating all double standards. That's why we
have the white, the Asian, the Hispanic, and the Black
national anthem. Not only will it be so inclusive that
everybody stands, they can also put it on in the
club and everybody hits the dance floor. It's the perfect anthem.
It's the out kick anthem. I mean, I mean, we're

(15:56):
gonna mail it to Roger Goodell and say, hey, we
solved all your anthem issue is boom, just play this
before every game. Who's up next? We got Robert in Cincinnati,
Robert fire Away. Hey, Clay, I cannot believe you. I
listened to you every morning and what you just said
proves to me that I don't know what I'm doing

(16:18):
listening to you with your bias opinions. Yeah, what did
I say? First off, that the record that you gave
for us as a black that is that is the
worst record in the world. I think one of the
greatest ever existed? What would you suggest should be the
black national anthem? Anything but what you do? Anything but

(16:41):
Apple Bottom? Do you hate flow right? Or what has
he done to you? Hey? Hey, I again once again,
let me tell you it is now. I'm I'm gonna
be like your sons today Robert is calling in. Can
I have that pribleg to be opposite or whatever you do,
because I've listened to you for the last few years

(17:02):
and you have not been anything but bias two brothers.
You think I'm anti you think I'm anti Black. No,
you don't tell me what I think. You just said
I'm biased against brothers. I don't know how the other
way I could take it. Well, you just changed what
I said. Why don't you just say what I just
said that you you you don't like Tiger, you're a

(17:24):
Tiger hater. You you meant to Lebron every night and
you got something negative. This we haven't even mentioned Lebron
on this show. Yes you did. You you've mixed him today?
What did I mixed him every night? And you always
say something negative because you said the NBA is going
down and yeah, yeah, right, because the only reason they're

(17:47):
not taking more and because of Lebron. That's a positive
thing about Lebron. And the other night you said when
those two cops got shot out in l A, Well,
Lebron always saying some wine he put up. Some need
to find that. But you know what, I put my
money where my mouth is, Robert, I gave ten thousand
dollars to l A uh police in the event they
can capture the guy who tried to execute those police officers.

(18:10):
I understand that. Well, why you had to bring Lebron
the name of a giving money. I didn't bring it up.
The l A sheriff. No, No, the l A sheriff said,
Lebron James has been so outspoken about so many issues.
I would love to see Lebron double the reward for
the shooting. Lebron hasn't said a word about the two
l A police officers who were shot, yet every time

(18:32):
there's a viral video he comments on it. I think
it's a fair question that the l A County Sheriff said,
why hasn't Lebron said a word here? That that's your
opinion and opion and then I gave an opinion on it. Yeah,
you gave you opinion. That's what you understand that's my job, right,
Like I have a radio show where my entire Otherwise,

(18:53):
we could just come on and I could be like, hey,
last night the Braves lost five one. We could just
read scores. I wouldn't give you any opinion, just facts.
But the show exists until I can share my opinions. No,
you you don't. You don't share an opinion and the
fact that it is positive because I listened to you,
and I tell you to the show if you hate me,

(19:14):
because this is no let me. Let me say this.
The time when the guy got the beard throwed on him.
You remember that? Who was that? Yeah? Now, this is
when I started listening to you. You were in New
York or somewhere on vacation. Somebody was taking your place,
and you called in and you said the nerve of him,

(19:37):
saying the guy should have a maximum sentners and he
beat up his girlfriend when he was in college, and
this and this and this. Now the guy that was
here it's your your show kept telling you he didn't
say that, he'll didn't say that his his agent said that.
All right, now, he told you that, But guess what

(19:58):
you said, Well, he shouldn't be if your agent says
something that you don't agree with and they put you
in a bad spot, then either your agent is speaking
out of turn and you should fire him, or he's
saying something that you would like to say that you
aren't willing to say yourself. Tyreek Hill wanted the guy
who threw a beer on him to be charged with assault,

(20:21):
if I remember correctly, his agent said that guy should
be charge of assault. He wanted him prosecuted to the
fullest extent of the law. When Tyreek Hill beat up
his pregnant girlfriend and didn't get prosecuted to the fullest
extent of the law himself. Now to me, that's a
pretty big hypocrisy. If I had a domestic violence charge
outstanding and somebody walked up to me and threw a

(20:44):
part of a beer on me, and I said that
person should go to jail, and I had just gotten
out of any serious repercussions because I beat up my
pregnant girlfriend or my pregnant wife, I don't think I'd
be demanding that justice be served in an aggressive fashion
on somebody for doing something a lot less significant than me.
But it's amazing is he still there? The number of
people who claim that they hate me, that listen to

(21:06):
every word that I say. Robert, you're helping. You're the
reason I get to live in an eight thousand square
foot mansion. All right, well, I'll tell you what. I'll
tell you. What if if all of me and as
out there, I mean me, is the people listening to
you tonight and what you got that clown coming on
there from the White House, the President after after he

(21:27):
comes on, I'm gonna definitely listen, and I'll tell you what.
Just put me down the call in because like I say,
you are Lebron hater, You're a Tiger hayter. And I
listened closely what you said. I want. Okay, let's take
a step back. What if I ever said negative about
Tiger Woods? What do you mean when he came back?

(21:47):
I heard you said I could probably beat him at
put put. First of all, I would love I would
love to play against Tiger Woods in a put put match,
first of all. And I do think that I could
give him a real run for his money because I'm
pretty good at putt putt. There's very few people who've
been better at putting through an open clown mouth than
me historically. Not the bragger draw attention to myself. But

(22:09):
the windmill, that's my jam. I own windmill putt put courses.
I appreciate the car Robert. I don't think that I've
ever and you're welcome to call back in anytime. I
don't think that I've ever said anything negative about Tiger
Woods on the show, not that I remember. I mean,
you guys work on the show, like am I what
would you be like? Oh, Clay Travis, he's a huge
anti Tiger Woods guy. No, no, have you? I mean,

(22:32):
can you guys even remember me ever ripping Tiger Woods.
It's the one athlete I don't remember you ripping. Yeah,
I don't know. Well, uh do we have how many
more people? Do you have? One? Last v I P?
Before we all right? Who's on the v I P Line?
It is Bennett in South Carolina. Bennett in South Carolina. Bennett,
do you well, how do you think I'd do against
Tiger and a put putt match? I think I think

(22:55):
you did way up. I mean, I mean I think
with definitely be yeah, definitely have a lot better chance
to beat him on putt putt than I would anywhere else,
although Tigers are really good putter exactly. I would think
that would be a skill, that he'd be pretty good
at put putt, but that I would play. All right, now,
I'll throw the gauntlet down Tiger Woods. You name the
time to place the putt putt location, I'm there with

(23:18):
my putter, and I'm gonna run you. I'm just calling
him out, just pointed out from from what I've been
reading going into this USA for the weak, I think
Tiger is gonna be struggling with the putter again. I
think everybody's gonna be struggling on this winged foot golf course.
The possibility, basically it's even bet right now, we're talking
about this on Fox PT Live yesterday television show cousin

(23:40):
sal I mean, the odds are that there's probably gonna
be somebody over par potentially who ends up winning this
competition because the course is such a beast. Yeah. I
was talking to a few of my friends yesterday and
we were saying that we would think the cut would
probably around seven eight over or something like that. Yeah. Uh, No,
I I think that that's probably a very good, uh

(24:02):
prediction for sure. What what do you think of our
inclusive anthem? No? I liked it. I think, Um, I
really like I really like the Sweet Carolina. I love
that song myself. Yeah, you're a white guy. Every white
person on the planet loves it. As soon as the
bump bump bump happens, white people lose their mind. Yeah,
I got um. I got to every South Carolina home

(24:24):
football game and in the third quarter they always play
Sweet Caroline and everybody's singing along. Two thousand one Space
Odyssey is a pretty awesome entry for the game Cocks too.
That's a very cool opportunity and sandstorm when they play that.
That's a great environment that you guys have in Columbia. Um,
I gotta go to break anything else you want to
hit me with. No, I was just saying, I would

(24:45):
love for you to ask the president what he thinks
he would shoot. Oh, that's a great question. Mean, that's
a great question. I will ask him. I'm gonna open
the uh, I'm gonna open the interview with him talking
about the fact that Tiger's team off in the US
open about the time we start talking and see who
he like to win the course. Uh, and also whether
he's played the course before, because I would like to
know what he thinks he could shoot. As well. Good call,

(25:06):
appreciate it. Thanks for being an out kick v I
P be sure to catch live editions about kick the
coverage with Clay Travis week days at six am Eastern
three am Pacific, Joined now by Jeff Schwartz, former NFL
offensive lineman for eight years. Jeff, have you heard our
most inclusive national anthem? I'm trying to make sure that
I can help the NFL get over their anthem controversy

(25:27):
once and for all. Somebody's kneeling for that, or they're
staying in the locker room, and I'll tell you they're
a damn liar. Uh. DJ Danny G put together the mix.
I mean, that's the most inclusive national anthem imaginable. Now.
I do think my wife pointed out that maybe we
need to have the gay national anthem. So I don't
know if we need to add like Y M c

(25:48):
A to the into that, or I don't know what
the gay national anthem is right now. Maybe it's like
Barbie World, or I'm not an expert on uh, you
know material girl by Madonna, Share something by Share. I'm
not sure, but maybe we need to open up phone
lines only to gay people and let them tell us
what the gay national anthem is. But maybe we need
that to be completely inclusive. But we're getting close. That

(26:08):
was an incredible mix um the Sweet Caroline. Have you
ever known a white person who, if Sweet Caroline comes
on a bar, doesn't raise their hand and try to
pretend like they're playing the symbols? They're like boom boom boom,
all the all the all do it Just it reminds
you of like college, like like that was like the
Last Call, I mean every bar the Last Call song, Yes,

(26:30):
just like and and here the panthers um after like
after the games are over. They used to play Sweet Caroline.
I think I don't remember, Uh we didn't. It's been
a long time as I played this year, and I
think they played that after games too. So it's just
like it's just that song brought me back a little.
That was good, all right? So what did you learn,
if anything, that surprised you from week one on the

(26:53):
field in the NFL UM. I thought that the gameplay
was better than I expected. I thought that the players
did a really good job of I know if it's
happening with sloppy shure at times, but I thought it was.
It was relatively clean. Look, it was very clear. The referees,
we're told like, hey, let's try to limit penalties. Let's

(27:13):
let's let's make sure the game moves and flows pretty well.
And I just thought it went off pretty well. The
good teams are good, right, Ravens, Chiefs, Saints, um. The
bad teams are gonna be bad, which is expected. I
just thought it was. It was better than I spoke
in the project. I expected that, you know, b y U. Navy, right,
like one team looked totally unprepared and one team looked

(27:34):
really really good and we just didn't see that. And
maybe because they all had uniform practice times. And you know,
in the end, the professionals and they understand that the
important to playing well and preparing well. And I was impressed.
It was it was it went off without a hitch.
And I credit you know, the NFL and the players
and coaches and personnel too for for you know, keeping
healthy and and playing football. I mean it was just

(27:56):
from Thursday to Monday night, I follow anything the football, right,
There was no there was no politics. Really, my time
went on Twitter, there was I didn't have to talk
about anything else. Uh, you know, the NBA had a
game six like Funday in the middle of the day.
I had no idea that that that that happened. Um,
it just was football was fantastic. Um. You mentioned the

(28:17):
lack of of calls being made from a holding perspective
as an offensive alignment. First of all, I'm sure you
love that being a change, but secondly, how does that
change the game going forward? The stat by the way,
NFL holding penalty's lowest week one total in over twenty years.
Holding calls were down seventy eight percent from two thousand nineteen,

(28:41):
fifty eight percent from the average of the last five
season opening weekends. Does that continue or is it seismic
shift like as alignment? How does that change the way
you play? Well, I men change the way I played.
But I definitely think that they're gonna they're gonna use
was back in last year there was a big emphasod
this on a holding to start the season, and I
think we see this year the emphasis and they're always

(29:04):
our points of emphasis are are offensive past in affairs, right.
I mean, it was very clear Week one they're gonna
call that UM as much as as they can. And
I would say this, you know, for for officiating, I
to this last year. I think it's truly you gotta
get rid of points of emphasis. You just have to
let the let the let the referees call what they see.
And yeah, if you want to tell them, hey, back

(29:24):
off of the holdings to make sure that that the
game goes smoothly. Good. Good that that that's a good change.
But the idea of like look for off, it's a
p I. I don't like that, um, but I don't
think it change the game very much. It's gonna ease
themselves back in the calling holdings. I mean, you know,
you don't get enough coaches to complain about it. Um.
And now that it made news the way it did,
the NFL might be like, hey, guys, you know we
call a few more this week. UM. But it made

(29:47):
sense without it, without a long training camp, without pre
there's there's gonna be sloppy technique. I do you want
to have games where you have seven holding penalties? Absolutely
not right. It's not what you want for your product,
on what you want for your fans, And so made
sense to limit those. I didn't know east them back
in as we go? Would you rather buy stock right now?
And Joe Burrow, who's only played one game, or in
Baker Mayfield who's entering his third year, they're obviously for

(30:11):
everybody out there, Yeah, Joe Burrow, Um, you know, I
thought he looked really good for his first game without
a training camp. It looks and you just said the
sathing that about Baker Mayfield, you know, his first year
in the NFL. But I just feel like there's this,
there's this uh this it's like attitude about Joe Burrow
that I really like, right Like he's you know, he

(30:31):
thinks he's good, but he doesn't really come off that way,
right Like, he doesn't come off as someone who is
like uber cocky and and it has has a great
ego and this is the opposite of Baker. Yes, but
we know that the star quarterbacks you have to have that,
right Like I would feel on if a star quarterback
had no ego, like like that's ridiculous. Of course you
have an ego, but you can carry yourself in a

(30:53):
way where you're still confident but not overly cocky about
I think Baker maysone went about the wrong way. He
got overly cocky about his success. And I don't think
Burrow is that it Burrows playing with a really bad
officive line. Um in a historically, um, you know, kind
of crappy city for football that hasn't won a lot,
especially in recent years since Marvin Lewis left, And I

(31:15):
just I think he's he's the real deal. And we'll
see you look obviously as we go. They played tonight.
The Browns have a good defense. Um, we'll see how
it goes. I think that the win the Bengals cover tonight.
I looked at the line. I'm a little concerned about
the Bengals. They're out to defensive tackles. Um. I think
that the Browns, whatever the profits for Chubb rushing yards,

(31:36):
would be a really good bet. But the Bengals are
out those two tackles. Can you come back, by the
way for a couple more minutes. I want to ask
you about the Pack twelve potentially coming back. Oh yes, yes.

(32:00):
In addition to be in an eight year NFL offensive linement.
Before that, you played in the Pac twelve at Oregon.
You grew up in l A. It looks like the
PAC twelve may actually play. Now. How wild is this
trajectory been over the past couple of months for college football?
It's been crazy. But specifically I don't want to send
with the PAC twelve is that, you know, it was

(32:21):
very clear that Big ten returned for the most part
because of the rappid testing, right, I mean, there's other
reasons besides that. I feel like if you were to wait,
the reasons why rapid testing, the alibility of rapid daily
testing was a huge reason why. And the pact all
the POW back for at least two weeks, Like they
made a deal with Cordel to get that by the
end of this month, the same time, by the way,

(32:42):
that the Big ten was receiving all the rapid testing.
And so then just literally one day we learned that
California said they can play. Organ said they could play.
The local municipalities late last night was reported especially l
A County said yeah, go ahead and practice, Like, I
don't know why they just and asked about this one
week ago. I think they were wild fire receiven before that.

(33:04):
A lot of fires didn't start two weeks ago, sort
of like, why didn't you say, hey man, we have
the test in Governor Newsom, can we play local local
leaders in in in In Allen Condon. Can we practice
the government working all along? I said, when she would
let order state playing when it was time to play
like that, that was never any questions, she said earlier
in September, like basically or organisers say instaid, I'm not

(33:27):
gonna pick them at a competitive disadvantage. So I don't
know why they waited until the Big ten basically said
we're back to even just start asking questions about why
they can't come back as well. Um, yeah, I hope
they're going to be able to play. We're going to
talk to the president about that next. Among other things,
did you ever think you met me? I don't know

(33:47):
what's it been like twelve years ago. Did you ever
think you would be the lead in to the President
of the United States on my radio show? Uh no,
I mean I didn't even know that until you said
it a minutes ago. So I, oh, no, idea better?
A better? Uh say really smart things that people are listening.
You just go find my podcast, a really good podcast,

(34:09):
a good football podcast. You can go find that everyone
listening now to the president. All right, Jeff, appreciate the time,
my man. We will talk. But did you say you
like the you like the Browns to get it done tonight?
I like the bagels. I think they're like the bagels
to cover though, but I think the Browns win. I
would look at the Nick Challi over tonight because the

(34:29):
bagels are out the tackles. Yeah, outstanding stuff. As always.
We'll talk to you next week, man, I appreciate it.
All right. Uh, that is Jeff Shorts. Sorry you just
heard me mentioned it. If you're just waking up and
listening to us right now, the President of the United
States scheduled to join us next right off the top
of the hour. That's assuming our technology actually manages to work.

(34:50):
Are you nervous at this point in time, Danny g
to prepare to again feel the call from the President. No,
at this point. He's a friend of the show, friend
of the show. Second time he's been on the show. Now,
last time we were like like a fire drill. Everybody
was nervous. Uh. Then the President. The thing that I
still think is is amazing. We have so many athletes
and so many like low level c d E level

(35:12):
celebrities who have handlers. Trump. Last time you and you
picked up the phone and the President had called you,
it wasn't like, hey, can you hold for the President
of the United States? Literally the President called you exactly
because you always see it in movies and it happens
here now, like can be like, you know, I don't
know Odell Beckham Jr. Is coming on the phone, and
they'll be like three handlers that we have to talk

(35:34):
to before we can get Odell well or after Super
Bowl victory, you are, before the phone got passed to
the coach, the winning coach, it was always like, please
hold for the President of the United States. So I'm
thinking I'm gonna hear from the press secretary or somebody
like that, and it's just Donald on his phone saying
I'm ready to go on the air alright, So hopefully
that's gonna happen. Next next segment, guest, the President of

(35:56):
the United States, joins us to talk about the return
of the Big Ten, potentially the return of the Pack twelve.
US open teeing off, We'll get into a bunch of
interesting things in the world of sports and beyond. President
of the United States Donald Trump will with us next That,
my friends, that's a heck of a good tease. I'll
see you all on the flip side here in about
five minutes. This is out kicked the coverage on Fox
