(00:25):
Fox Sports Radio. And this is a man who was
all of a sudden turned into an expert on women's gymnastics,
none other than Brady Quinton. I would not say that
by any means. Let's just peel back the curtains here
for for one second. You You're like, I can't find
betting odds on women's Chimnio. I literally pulled up three

(00:46):
different sites. I was like, here you go, their heavy favorites.
They're they're minus three fifty two minus six fifty on
the rest of the field. And they obviously didn't come
in as as number one seated if you will, because
of how prelems went. But I gave you the odds
they should win this thing. All they really need is
Simone just to do her things. As long as Simone

(01:07):
performs well or I should say, better than she did
in prelimbs. They'll be just fine. So so that's who
my my money's on. Uh, simone money Biles being able
to bring home with victory for you, is your wife
piste off at us? She mad we annoy her? Then
what you do you you tend to annoy a lot
of people. But she was she was actually very appreciative

(01:29):
of the opportunity to come on and talk about some gymnastics. Yeah,
I remember this is a little this true story. We
had your wife call in. For those of you that
missed it, you can check out the podcast afterwards. A
Brady's wife. She's awesome. She joined us. A former US
Olympian gym gymnast, you know, a silver medalist back and

(01:50):
I think two thousand eight if not mistakes. Yeah, I
have enough for a little research. Um but damn right,
still got enough alright, So so she joined us. She
joined us, uh last hour and you know, just sort
of talked about you know, the the the scoring in
the in the gymnastics and sort of how this stuff

(02:11):
all goes along. But she joined us years ago on
our Sunday night show. Uh, she was at the there
was a Dolphins game that was taking place. I think
it was Dolphins Raiders, if I'm not mistaken, and she
was actually at the game because some friends went to
the game, and so she decided to go. You and

(02:31):
I were on the air, and I said, hey, it
might be kind of funny for her to call up
and be our live reporter from the Dolphins game in
in South Florida. And so she calls up and you know, we're,
you know, doing the typical what we do, and I
sort of I sort of threw out at her and
I said, hey, so when did we start drinking here?
And she was kind of like, you know, I'm driving,

(02:52):
and it was kind of you know, she she just
wouldn't really commit to, you know, having a cocktail while
we were on the air, only to find out it's
because she was pregnant. Again, I had no idea, no idea,
but otherwise I wouldn't have gone there with her on
that interview. So I was just glad that she decided
to agree to come back on. There's certain things you
can't tell everyone, Jonas, So sorry privilege to that knowledge

(03:13):
that at that time she was for a significant period
of time. I just only to find out and that
was my first thought. Side note, al Right, side note
for all for all those you know husbands or to
be dad's out there who rag on, who rag on
their wife or their significant other that drives their drunk

(03:36):
butt around for almost nine months while they're pregnant because
they really can't drink. Okay, all right, you're an a hole. Okay,
like you've had all that build up time, all those
free rides to pick you up from the bar, from
the golf course wherever you're coming from, have a little respect,
all right, change some diapers, all right, put the baby

(03:57):
to bed, help out a little bit. Okay, Yeah, I'm
saying yeah. And if you ever wondered which portion of
the show Brady's wife was listening to, guaranteed it was that,
which is why he laid it on extra think to
open up this hour here on Fox Sports. I'm just
trying to make up, all right, for all these yeah, yeah,
all right. Let's get into a very interesting situation in

(04:19):
the NFL, Michael Thomas in the New Orleans Saints. I
can I ask you this though, before you get into
whatever the hell you're gonna say, have you ever been
in a situation where you're contractually obligated to do something,
but you know it's not going to be in your
best interest, Like it might be in the company's or
your teams, but it might not be in your best interest.

(04:41):
Have you ever been put in that scenario? Not not
as Fox Sports Radio, that's what you're getting at. I'm
not going down that well, I know I wasn't. I
wasn't getting at any specific thing with Fox Sports, right,
I'm just saying, in your life, have you've been in
a scenario where you've you've got to do a portion
of the job that really doesn't benefit that you, it
only benefits them basically, Yeah? Oh yeah, yeah, many times. Absolutely.

(05:05):
I feel like a lot I think that there's a
lot of people out there who probably can relate to
what Michael Thomas is kind of going through right now. Like, granted,
up get he gets paid a lot for what he does,
but there's probably a portion of him that's being asked
to do things that are better for the team than
it is for himself. I mean, he's going now into
a period post a Hall of Fame quarterback where he's

(05:27):
only known thousand yards seasons for any season that he's
been a part of where he's played at least fifteen games.
Last season was not one of those seasons. He came
nowhere close to the mark that he kind of set
for himself in two thousand nineteen. But that's what he's
got on the horizon. He's got a quarterback in Jamis Winston.
He's trying to get back to what the perception of

(05:48):
him is. What he got in the league, a number
one overall pick, and he's got Taysom Hill, who I
think we found out last year really can't throw the
football effectively, which I don't know why it took us
last year to figure that out, because he came into
the league as a quarterback, and then teams have made
that decision and kind of figured that out. So that
those are his two options currently. You know, Ian Book,
who's a rookie, could step into that spot. Maybe he

(06:08):
takes over. But now Michael Thomas finds him in this
you know, in this position where he doesn't have Drew
Brees storm the football anymore. It's an entirely different animal
now behind center, and I think that changes his perspective
of how fast he wants to come back and play
this year. And so he is, uh will begin this
season on the publist. So he's going to be out

(06:29):
until week seven is when he can return. And you
know there are other players who are going to begin
this season on the publist. But where this gets interesting
is this is all based on the ankle injury he
suffered last year. And there's a report that came out
over the weekend from Nick Underhill of New Orleans Football
dot Com who said that Michael Thomas met with specialist

(06:53):
to get the treatment done and and to go ahead
and get the ankle injury taking care of in the
office season, and then he was supposed to come back
and and see them and go through a lengthy treatment
plan because they felt like that would get him better
prepared for the season. And then he never showed back up.
So when he got to the Saints, they were taking

(07:15):
a look at the ankle and realized this thing is
still banged up and in bad shape, and then he
decided to get the surgery. And I would imagine that
the Saints probably aren't thrilled about this whole thing. And
I would also imagine, just from the outside looking in,
and based on previous stories that came out of New Orleans,
that they had been kicking the tires on on a

(07:36):
potential trade that maybe he wasn't the happiest guy in
the world being there with the New Orleans Saints, that
that Michael Thomas just probably looking at this going all right,
how the hell can I get out of here? Like
I like this feels like the beginning of the end
of Michael Thomas in New Orleans, And it feels like
both sides are going to split at some point because
it just feels like the relationship has reached its end.

(07:56):
So let me put it this way, Sean Payton wants
to win a ball games and he's gonna do what
he needs to do in order to win those games.
Do you think he trusts Jamis Winston to throw the
football anywhere close to what Drew Brees was doing throughout
his career or close to what he was asked to

(08:16):
do in Tampa when he turned the football over thirty times. Right, Yeah,
I look, I think that. I think the plan is
probably a heavy dose of Alvin Camara this upcoming season. Well,
I think it depends on on who's a quarterback. If
it's Taysom Hill, no doubt, it's a heavy dose of
tastes some heavy dose of Alvin Kamara, and then you know,
probably a stable of backs running the football. To be

(08:39):
quite honest with you, it's probably gonna look closer what
the Baltimore Raven's offense looks like. More run heavy, more
run first. The passing game will be built off of that.
If it's Javis Winston, probably more playing from the pocket.
He he's he wasn't drafted to be as the number
one overall pick a running quarterback. He's capable, and we've
seen his drill work. I mean, god knows, he's trying out.

(09:00):
They're moving around with the football and avoiding his dog
or whoever's dog that is in his backyard. He's trying.
But the question really becomes, if you're Michael Thomas, are
you gonna get targeted? For example, two years ago a
hundred and eighty five times. There's no chance, dude. The
guy caught almost a hundred and fifty footballs and and

(09:21):
confort over yards. Like I'm sorry, you're that's not happening again, man,
Like not on not on this team, like, not not
on this roster. Not not the way I think Sean
Payton looks at this and says, this is what we're
gonna have to do in order to win. So I
think he might be looking at now with Drew Bring
being gone and saying, look, maybe I need to slow

(09:42):
play this thing. Maybe I can kind of figure out
a way to get an exit. Very similar to what
another top wide receiver in the league. Now all you know,
older and age, but Julio Jones did last year with
the Falcons kind of had what was a hamstring injury
and then it just wasn't really there for the for
the rest of the season, knowing probably what was coming

(10:02):
at the end of the year. And I'm not trying Look,
I'm not trying to claim because I think we even
talked about it last year at times, and I'm not
trying to say, well, you know, Julio Jones was faking it.
I'm not. I'm not going there. He's the guy's a
Hall of Famer. It did seem like maybe maybe he
wasn't as available as he possibly could have been had he,
you know, a pushed through the injury a little bit.

(10:23):
It just felt like every time he was out there,
they would they would go to the sidelines and Julio
Jones is on the sideline nursing that same injury, and
it just felt like that injury took a long time
to heal. All right, I'm not I'm not saying that
he was, you know, doing anything intentionally, just maybe he
wasn't pushing through it like he possibly could. And so
when you hear what do you mean? This is what

(10:44):
I think is fascinating about this story. What do you
make of Michael Thomas handling the injury this offseason the
way that it is being reported now? Like is it
reminded me of Scottie Pippen in a contract dispute with
the Bulls. He waited, He waited to get it all right,
and he did it in a manner in which I

(11:05):
mean granted. In Scotty's case, he won a new contract.
Michael Thomas is fine um at least in that regard
to the best of my knowledge. But he waited for
whatever reason, even he's disgruntled or doesn't want to be there,
whatever the case may be. But it didn't make a
whole lot of sense why he waited. Now, you could
look at an example of the Dolphins and Ryan Tannehill,
where their doctors initially thought when he had a partially

(11:28):
torn a c L that they were going to be
able to rehab and he was gonna able to wear
a brace and he'd be able to make it through
the following season, only come to find out later on
that spring that he's gonna need surgery. You know, he's
gonna need to repair the whole thing, and they essentially
took away the chance for him to play that following year. Now, granted,
it's not like the Dolphins doctors or medical staff has

(11:50):
been an issue in the past. Come on, come on,
that's why he left you, which is weird now because
we're talking about a team losing Drew Brew. Reason that
the Dolphins could have could have had we play that
I digress. Um, you look at that medical situation and go, yeah,
that that obviously impacted Adam Gaze's career. The Dolphins that

(12:12):
year a team that had at one point, you know,
when you think about it, there are a playoff team.
People tend to forget like they were a ten win
team went to the playoffs. But it was Matt moorey
started that game in Pittsburgh who got decapitated by Bud
Dupree if I'm not mistaken, in that playoff game, and
somehow came back on the field, which we're getting off
with a big tangent here, but I will never forget

(12:34):
that concussion and health and safe thing paramount in the NFL.
I literally looked like he lost his head. I mean,
I'm just it was like a Halloween trick. I'm not
really sure how else you describe it, but um that
I mean, that was the year where think about, if
he gets the surgery, Tanny Hill can come back and

(12:55):
actually play that following year. Who knows how different that
goes for the Dolphins, maybe even in Hill in Miami.
Maybe maybe not. Maybe it's ultimately was gonna end the
way it was gonna end. But I'm just saying, you know,
sometimes you get those medical opinions from a medical staff
where they want to be patient with it, they'd like
to avoid surgery. Maybe the player feels that way, and
then they get to a point where they go, Okay,

(13:15):
well let's just get this thing fixed and move forward.
That might have been at play here too with Michael
Thomas h He's Brady Quinn, I'm Jonas Knox is out
kicked the coverage here on Fox Sports Trading Yes, And
if you're not familiar with the hit on um Matt
Moore in that playoff game from back years ago with
the Miami Dolphins. Just go ahead and look, Matt Moore
hit by Pittsburgh Steelers. Uh, and how that guy was

(13:38):
cleared to come back in the game is one of
the great mysteries in the history of the United States.
I mean, you can talk about UFOs Bigfoot, Uh, you
know the jfk assassination. I would put number four. How
Matt Moore was clear to come back into that game.
That That's what I'd like to know, is how he
was clear. But you can find that to go check
that out if you'd like. Here as a Brady Quinn

(13:59):
and I reminisce about layoff games from several years ago.
All right, coming up next year on Fox Sports Radio. Though,
there is another story in the NFL. Uh. Somebody is
not happy players started showing up looking a certain way.
And it is not the most thrilling piece of news
and imagery that we can talk about in the NFL,

(14:19):
and the NFL p A is speaking out about it.
We'll get into all of that for you next year.
It's out kicked the coverage Fox Sports Radio. This this
is out kicked the coverage. Do not go anywhere. It
is Radio gold. In fact, some have called it the
fastest growing game show in the history of sports talk
radio eight seven seven nine on Fox. If you want

(14:43):
to be a part of it eight seven seven six
three six nine headliner Lie coming up ten minutes from now.
We're looking for two participants. We're looking for two brave
souls who want to be a part of this fastest
growing game show in all of sports talk radio. So,
Brady Quinne, hope you're ready for a little headline or
lie coming up ten minutes from now. Oh, I'm ready,

(15:03):
but very similar to to was it last week we
did this. I don't feel great about my headlines or lies,
but we'll see. I mean, a lot of it comes
down to, you know who we've got as a contestant.
You know whether or not they can help us out,
and uh, you know, give us a little bit of
a lift if you will in handling some of this well.
But you don't need to be great, because I'm so
bad at this and every partner I get is so

(15:25):
awful that I end up losing anyways, So you just
needed that. Sounds really nice for whoever's gonna call in
and wants to participate and be on your team. Tough
Balls perform better like listen. Look, this is no longer
Sunday Night. This isn't this you know, I know you
used to the weekend sports talk radio Brady Quinn. We're
not We're not playing in the minor leagues, right, So

(15:45):
you need to Arians right now, just like throwing some
players on the bus before you guys go on your
Super Bowl run damn right, and I'll find you fourteen
thousand dollars if you don't have your masks on on
the spot. Fourteen grand according to Bruce Arians, who was
very very adamant to people, uh, you know, wear their
masks if they're not vaccinated. That Bruce Arians, Which, by

(16:06):
the way, we do we have any sort of an
explanation as to why Bruce Arians looked like he was
filming a red lobster commercial at the White House? Anybody, Yes,
it was actually the lack of circulation being able to
run from his his lower basically from his neck down
up to his head. See, he had his his shirt

(16:26):
was too tight, his tie was too tight, and there
really was a lack of circulation. So the blood started
the pool I think in his face and his head,
which is why you saw that that beat red color.
It was the lack of circulation. It looked like he
had been laying in a tanning bed since nine is
what it looked like. I couldn't tell if it was
because he also had like a red suit on, and
you know that could kind of make you look a

(16:47):
little bit redder. I guess whatever, whatever it is, how
got to the White House? Thought ye do that? Yeah?
I agree. Listen, he's one of the are the all
time grades. I mean, you can't have him on for
a of interview because he curses too much, but it
is it always fun to see what b A is
guy working and got cooking up there. So again headliner

(17:08):
Lie coming up five minutes from now eight seven seven
ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven six three six
nine Here on fs are So you got a J. C.
Trader of the NFL p a UM apparently not happy
about these wrist bands that players have have got on.
Brady Quinn, They're they're not happy. I think Naji Harris

(17:31):
was one of the guys of the Pittsburgh Steelers who
was wearing one UM and uh and J. C. Trader
was not happy about that. Uh, you know, talked about
they want better communication all the way through, need to
all stick together and work together. Um, how does the
nfl p A let this happen? Like why did they? Like,

(17:52):
I'm just I'm trying to walk out, Like what do
you mean? How Like these guys are starting to hear
about I give you fine fourteen tho dollars for not
wearing my mask and and literally J. C. Treader had
to come out and go alright, guys, uh, this isn't new.
It was in the collective bargaining agreement last year. It's
just we all wore masks because we didn't have a vaccine.

(18:14):
You know. Now there's a difference between those who are
vaccinated and those you aren't. And then how you can
be punished if you're not wearing your masks. So it's
it's not like how it's the fact that this has
always been the biggest issue for the nfl p A,
which is the players Union is communicating to players and
players giving a crap about their work conditions, like they

(18:36):
don't care, they don't read the details. They need to
be told every little thing, and it's not until it
actually impacts them before they start to notice. Like I mean,
I don't think Zeke Elliott even knew or had any
idea you could be fine fourteen thousand dollars upon entering
training camp if you didn't wear your mask properly or
at certain spots, if you weren't vaccinated. Like that was

(18:57):
news to him. That was news to a lot of theirs,
because again, they just they don't care to to look
into these sorts of things. It's not what is most
important to them. For a lot of these guys, the
most important thing is training, execution, competing, being able to
make the team, being able to excel the work conditions,
and all the other stuff that that all comes. It's

(19:17):
it's an afterthought, it really is. Yeah, I just I
don't know how it gets to this point. And that
was I remember when the cb A, the new CBA
was agreed upon. I think even Aaron Rodgers was one
of the guys that was vocal about it, saying, man,
did anybody act Did you guys actually take the time
to read through this, like, like how does how do
they expect to get They can talk all they want

(19:38):
about let's get everybody on the same page, but if
you can't even get guys to read the fine print
on the stuff that's sent out, that that's that's in
regards to their union. I mean, how how do they
expect to ever get this whole thing figured out? It
just feels like after the fact, the nfl PA comes
out with strong words and strong language, but it's like, dude,
this would have helped weeks ago, Like this, it to

(20:00):
help months ago if you were to let everybody know,
or everybody would have been made aware of it. So
I just I thought it was the timing of it
was a little interesting. It feels like after the fact
they're always the first ones to speak up when this
should have been done way beforehand. No, to your point,
it should have been. There was no reason. It's it's
not like this has changed drastically in the past, you know,
a few months, whereas last year again completely different animal Like,

(20:21):
we were learning more about the virus, we were learning
more from data and science as to what the working
conditions were gonna look like, how we're gonna go about
handling this. All those things were changing, right because the
NFL had the advantage of looking at other professional sports
leagues when they came back and and kind of you know,
changing or or navigating what was Corona a year ago

(20:42):
different than everyone else. So a lot of things were
changing week by week. That's not the case now. You know,
everything that's happening right now, for the most part, has
should have been in place for the past month or so,
if not more, And this all should have been communicated.
It's not like we didn't have an off season where
guys were there. Person they were and so it should

(21:02):
have been very easily explained to them then what the
working conditions were, then what they're going to be once
they come back for a training camp. There really shouldn't
be any confusion. But again, uh, this has been a
frustration for me for a lot of other players with
the way that the Union operates. And I hate to
be overly critical or harsh on them, but the truth

(21:23):
of the matter is they take out I forget what
the what the amount is per year per player, but
it's like fifteen grand year for your union dues. Maybe
more like I remember when I was playing, it was
ten and we used to always say like, hey, here's
here's your free ten tho dollar T shirt because for
about of the guys, of the guys who were in

(21:44):
the league, you're getting a T shirt in your locker
and you're probably not gonna be working with the union
at any point until after you actually retire, if you
happen to be uh, you know, vested veteran, meaning you've
played long enough, which the average career span isn't long enough,
but you're lucky enough to play long enough, then you
get some of those post career player benefits. So you're

(22:04):
paying into this whole thing, you know, fifteen thousand whatever,
nineteen thousand whatever it is now, and then what are
you really getting out of it until after your career
if you're so lucky enough to be able to accomplish that.
And so I think that's the frustration from a lot
of players is you feel like you're paying a lot
and not necessarily while you're playing, getting the type of communication,
getting the type of of of I don't want to

(22:26):
say service, but getting that back from your union like
you should be in this instance. Yeah, it's just it's amazing.
It seems like with the NFL p A, they always
discover everything after the fact, coming up fifteen minutes from now,
we have got some bad news. It is a there's
a major major sporting event that just got dealt a
bad blow. But there's a way you can take advantage

(22:49):
of it. All you have to be is anti American,
So that will be come up on Fox Sports Training.
It's one hell of tea, that is what the hell
of it? Hey? Am I lying? Am I lying? I've
got some insided You're not lying? There's an opportunity here. Yeah,

(23:11):
So some inside information on that coming up minutes Russia. Okay,
here we go fifteen minutes from now on Fox Sports Radio.
Right now, though, it's time for something we do on
the show called This New Turn. Is it a headline
or is it a lie? Let's go to the news desk.

(23:34):
Here's Jonas Knocks and Brady Quinn and here we go
headline or lie? Here Fox Sports Radio, Brady Quinn and
I have got headlines. You tell us whether or not
it is an actual headline or a lie, and we
will meet our contestants here. Let's first go all the
way out to Hawaii where Tony is listening here on

(23:55):
Fox Sports Radio. Tony, what's up? Run? What's happening? Are you?
Mr Marx? How are you? Sir? Well? I'm good? Uh?
And Tony, I gotta ask you? Are are you there? Yeah? Yeah?
What is it? So it's right now one thirty in
the morning in Hawaii. Correct, what part of Hawaii are you?
Are you on the island of Oahu? Yeah, I am.

(24:16):
So that means you're listening to the Blowtorch Fox Sports.
Fox Sports Hawaii are great affiliate there. You have to
introduce it that way every time. What do you mean,
what did I do well? You mean when I'm talking
about Yeah, the blowtorch Fox Sports. Yeah, that's what it is, man,
our great affiliate in Oahu. So you're listening to the right, Yes,

(24:39):
the blowtorn good and there it is the blowtorch. Brady.
You see everybody? Does? Everybody? All? Right? To Tony? You
can team up with Brady Quinn or you can team
up with me. And when which do you prefer? I'd
like to see my man, Tony, you and I You
and I did see that one coming, ye coming cracking

(25:00):
a ConA big wave and just and just taking home
with w here all right, So I will be teaming
up with Tony in Hawaii. Let's go out to Milwaukee,
Title Town where Neil is listening here on Fox Sports Radio. Neil,
what's happening? What's going on? I'm I'm so stoked to
get picked my Brady. Yes, sir, Hey, let me ask
you this, Neil, Um is true. We heard that Janice

(25:23):
came into a bar that you work at. That's right.
He came into a place called Barnacle Buds right after
the parade. Uh, my son was busting and I barked
him there on the weekend. So yeah, yeah, it was
really cool. What was he drinking? Um? I didn't serve him,
so I don't know, but I guarantee you you probably

(25:43):
ate for free. Okay, well you should, I hope. So

he's good. By the way you talk about bitter, you
talk about a bitter guy bad. It's like shocking the
tantrum that was being displayed on social media by Florida.
I didn't think adults through tantrums. And then then I
found out who Mike Floria was. Yeah, that that is
a good point. All right, do here we go Neil

(27:44):
and Milwaukee Brady's partner Neil Headline or Lie, A female
corrections officer in Missouri with the last name Shank, was
busted for an inmate and intimate relationship with an inmate.
Live this one. This is gonna be a quick exit,

(28:06):

Jimmy and Phoenix where you calling from? Man? Good for you.

(28:52):

yesterday as Iran has agreed to have just four players
on the court at all times in their next game.

(29:16):
Good point. Alright, alright, see basketball neal most basketball man,
Pop'll stake that live. All right, Here we go Tommy
headline or lie in his In his memoir, Hunter Biden

the headline that came so easy to Tony. Have you

(29:45):
read the Why did that come so easily to you? Yeah?
I don't know. That is just I'll just ask you
if you read it or not, because I don't know
that most people would would know that. But Tony, you were,
you were, You were that one man. You sniffed that
out in a hurry here for you, all right, don't

(30:06):
call me, call me that you disrespect Tony. Here all right,
Neil in Milwaukee, here you were, Next up, Brady Quinn's partner,

Brady quinn a just a raucous show here. Things have
been all over the place. Uh. And coming up next

(31:53):
breaking news in the world of sports. We will get

(32:39):
I'll kick the coverage here Fox Sports Radio. He's Brady Quinn,
I'm Jonas Knocks. This is fs are coming up top
the next hour. We will get into a little hypothetical here.
Uh could we see a changing of the guard, a
power shift in the National Football League and it only
takes one move. We will get into that your top

(33:00):
next hour here on Fox Sports Radio. But right now
we do want to turn it over to Eddie Garcia
for some breaking news in the world of sports. Breaking
news from Fox Sports. Yeah I'm interested in what Brady's
wife might have to say about this news. But some
breaking news from the Olympics where American star gymnast Simone

(33:22):
Biles has withdrawn from the team. Just gymnastics competition. She
apparently was injured attempting a vault. UH. She left the
competition area, returned a little bit later. Apparently her foot
is wrapped up. But she is out of the team
competition for the US. UH in the team gymnastics competition.
And that's uh, that's our best gymnast. So that's that's

(33:45):
not good news. Yeah, it's it's bad now I'm hearing otherwise,
it's not necessarily an injury, UM because she's still planning
on competing in the individual events that she qualified for
UM in prelims. So whatever the quote, if an injury
or not, my understanding is she's feeling a lot of
pressure UM, which is which is a little bit I'm

(34:06):
not gonna say odd. I mean, look at the Olympics,
it's a huge event, but even more so for her.
Even though she's accomplished so much, she's the most decorative,
she's the best ever. UM that the tough thing is
it's her last one. And I think that's where she
kind of probably is feeling the pressure of the finality
of all this UM and so I you know, it
sounds like she didn't have a good warm up and

(34:27):
she was battling a lot of a lot of that
mentally and so the landing on the vault definitely probably
added to it. But word is that that exact landing
she had when she actually competed was the same way
she was landing that vault during warmups, and so there's
something kind of else set play here. Either way, it's
a bad sign for Team USA. Yeah. By the way, hey, Eddie,

(34:48):
get a kick out of that. Uh Billy Blowhard over
there thinks she's got insiders like sources when it comes
to US Olympics gumnastics talking to some people over into Yeah, yeah,
sure you are. You are all right, So give me.
I hate to do this on the air. This, this
is rude. I hate to have to do this on
the air. So just give me one second. I hear

(35:08):
on Fox Sports Radio on Russia. Sorry, what's going on?
What are we talking about here? I'm looking Russia in
the lead right now. I as as you don't know
what's funny about this. You know what's funny about this
is people will gamble against their favorite team. Okay, they will.
They will do that gamble against their favorite team, but

(35:31):
when it comes to the Olympics, they will not gamble
against their country. Even though at this point, given how
good Simone Biles is given. How big of a deal
this is. It hurts team USA. I don't know that
many people are gonna bet against against the USA. I
don't think many people are gonna take rush even though
they again they were leading kind of coming into it. Uh. Second,

(35:53):
I think there are plus odds plus was a four
D and something like that. Yeah, it was they were
significant underdogs that And look, your wife Alicia came on.
If you missed that, you can check out the podcast
Brady's wife, Alicia Sacrimony. She's a silver medalist in the Olympics.
She knows her stuff, and she said, look, the US

(36:13):
should take take control of this thing and they should
be okay. But that was before this whole Simone Biles
story comes out. And and I guess on the NBC broadcast,
what are they saying it's a mental issue, that there's
something going on, like psychological and you you mentioned that.
So now you probably are looking around if you did
have money on the US. Uh, you're probably scrambling going

(36:34):
all right, when's the first NFL preseason game? Like what
am I? Like? Now you're trying to figure out how
you're gonna get that money back? So I mean, they're
they're talking a lot just about pre limbs, and some
of her posts to social media afterwards talking about feeling
the weight of the world on her shoulders, and and
I gotta be honestly, that was one of the things
I talked to my wife about, is how she she's

(36:54):
the advantage, Like Simone Biles is so good, She's so
good at this sport. He's the difference maker where no
other country has a chance because she's that much better
than everyone else. Her start values are that much higher
than everyone else. And so not only is it obviously,
you know, for her and the rest of the field,
but it's also the way she's able to lift up

(37:14):
team USA. Now she's got to take on a different role.
She's gotta become that leader. She's gonna become almost that
kind of coach, if you will, for these girls for
the rest of the way. But it's it's troubling because
if you look at the Olympics, there's like certain sports
we expect to win. Women's gymnastics is is kind of
one that we've taken for granted because how good Simone is.
Men's basketball is another one. They've obviously had their struggles

(37:37):
it's it's been an interesting Olympics so far for team USA. Yeah, man, listen.
Uh look, but you know the good news is the
NFL is right around the corner. Brady Quinn. That's good news, alright.
So if you lost your ass betting on the US
UH gymnastics team, don't worry about it. Now the Hall
of Fame game, we got over unders win totals NFL next.
