couple of moments from now. It is Two Pros and

(01:01):
hour here nine am Eastern times six o'clock Pacific. Right
here on Fox Sports Radio. One of the more bizarre situations.
For those you now tuning in on the blowtorch AM
five seventy l A Sports, it's the blowtorch AM five
seventy l A sports. Uh the highs? What what the

(01:23):
blowtorch five seventy l A sports? Um? The big rig
chase apparently that's still going on. A big rig was
going from freeway to freeway. It is now, well, you
gotta break the salt down right, explain to people who
aren't familiar with the four oh five. It started into

(01:44):
two ten, and then the two ten turned into the
one eighteen, and the one eighteen turned to the to
the twenty three, which is a thousand oaks where the
eight oh five some call it. Then the twenty three
turned into the one oh one. Uh, and then the
one on one, I believe, turned into where's he like?
The five? Now, the whole thing is a mess. For

(02:05):
those you listen to San Diego, it goes from San
Diego to it does go to Seattle, Yeah, Seattle, Yeah,
so there it's uh yeah, look at you man, he's
a little uh you want to you wanna well listen
you get to t Wata a lot of places in
southern California. You know what I mean, Roberto, You know

(02:27):
what I mean. Yeah, listen, talk after the show. Um,
but it is not it is not. But um, so yeah,
they're we're still trying to figure out why that semi
is still just parked on the freeway. Now there's a standoff,
so we'll keep you posting all that. Um. The Aaron

(02:49):
Rodgers situation, many people are upset because they feel like
they've been misled by Aaron Rodgers. He tested positive for
COVID and based on the amount of time he's going
to be out, um, it would indicate that he's not vaccinated.
So of course they're they're upset because he said when
he's asked about it earlier this year, right before I
think believe in training camp or preseason, that he's been immunized,

(03:12):
which was a way of people thinking, oh, but he
might have had it right, you know, he got some
other treatment that. Look, I'm not gonna get into conspiracy theories,
but there has been something out there where there's a
lot of high, big name professional athletes who's spending a
lot of money on their bodies a year and they

(03:35):
don't want to put some generic um vacts in their
bodies like this is what the explanation I got was,
and that they are searching for like their own methods
of how to prepare their body to fight off COVID.
And so there's other things out there that, again, these
are high high high net worth individuals are finding that

(04:00):
they're utilizing. And so maybe he found something like that.
I don't know. He's got a lot of money, right,
maybe that was one of the things he did so
he felt like he was protected against it. I'm not
trying to speak for him, but that is something that's
out there. I'm talking about NBA players, NFL players. There's
a lot of that going on right now. Aaron. This
was the Aaron Rodgers sound from August when he was

(04:21):
asked about it by the media. Are you vaccinating? What's
your stance on vaccinations? Yeah, I've been any nice. You know,
there's a lot of a lot of conversation around it
around the league, and a lot of guys who have
made statements and that made statements, owners who made statements.
You know, there's guys on the team that haven't vaccinated.
I think it's a personal decision. I'm not gonna judge

(04:41):
those guys. Um, there's guys have been vaccinated contracted COVID.
So it's it's an interesting issue that I think we're
gonna see played out the entire season. Good for him
and play out with you. Good you notice something that
slight hands immunized for him, but they vaccinated for others. Right.
But the other thing you have to understand is people

(05:04):
took when he said that that he was talking from
the position of when he said I'm not going to
judge them, people took that is, oh, he's vaccinated. He's
not going to judge them for not being vaccinated. He's
just judging them. He's not judging in general. And that
was more of a statement that like when you listen
to it, you hear it, you go oh no, no, no no, no.
That's where the media got it wrong. See, the media

(05:26):
is trying to play teams right there, trying to take sides, right,
They're trying to divide this country. They're trying to make
you pick one or the other. God forbid, God forbid
you just be somewhere in the middle where you're like,
you know what, I can see both sides of it.
I don't want to pick one team or the other.
I'd like to support both. I'd like to not judge both.

(05:47):
God forbid we do that in this country anymore. Is
that possible? I feel that way about men and women,
you know what I mean. I want you to just
enjoy one another, it doesn't matter, you know, and play
on the team you want to play on. You know what.
Here's here's the that Here's the part that I have
the biggest issue with is this guy. I'm just saying,

(06:13):
here's the part that that bothers me the most about this.
Why should why should the media be asking these guys
if they're vaccinated or not? Why? Why is it there?
Why is it any of anybody's business whether or not.
Why should you have the right to be able to
ask some guy whether or not he's vaccinated. I think
Benjamin Watson said it yesterday where he said they should
have never been given this much access and given the

(06:36):
ability to ask this. So I will just put this
back on you guys. When does the NFL p A
step up and start saying, hey, this isn't the greatest
idea in the world, because I feel like they butchered
this from the beginning, and all of a sudden, everybody
else felt like they had the right to go ahead
and start asking these questions every time out. The irony
is the p A initially came out and said, whoa,

(06:58):
we got a problem. Model hands. Because the union, more
often than not, is really set up to protect the
five or ten percent, you can't protect themselves. And in
this case, you know, the way the league and the
p A went about creating the rules to come back
and play, they created and that was more on behalf
of those who are vaccinated, meaning if you're not vaccinated

(07:20):
now not not only is your team put in a
position where you have to change the way you eat,
I have to change the way your team works out,
you have to change the way you meet, You have
to change your protocols. If someone becomes positive, like your
entire team, if you don't meet a certain threshold of
vaccination status, your entire schedule, everything is is thrown off

(07:42):
and changed. And so because of that agreement, you basically
put players who don't want to be vaccinated in a
tough spot, even though the p A has to represent
and has to defend all players. That's what they're that's
what the union does, and and they subject themselves to
all of this by putting in place rules that now

(08:05):
allow us to basically say, well, Aaron Rodgers, we know this,
he tested positive for COVID. Okay, but the Packers have
already ruled him out for this week's game. I could
connect the dots here he's not vaccinated then, because if
he was, he could then have two subsequent negative tests
and still if he was asymptomatic go back to play.

(08:28):
The p A allowed this all to happen because they
didn't think far enough ahead of the potential cause and
effect of doing or or this happening with the policies
they put in place. It's I'm gonna take it a
step back because I thought that was a great explanation.
So I'm gonna take it and I'm gonna simplify it
in in these terms. How many times has a coach

(08:52):
lied to the media in an interview on a daily basis?
I mean, do we have time for he did what
I'm saying, like, let's put this in the proper perspective here,
because we can get all into the idea of what
this is all about in terms of the details of
if Aaron Rodgers said he did it or if he

(09:13):
didn't do it, and and the fact of the matter
is he's positive. Now we could get into the conversation
of why do people have to know or why why
they don't have to know? Everybody's gonna have their opinion.
You know what is fact? You want a factual piece
of information. You are getting lied to consistently every day,

(09:38):
every day. So now you want to stop as the media,
you want to take a pause and say, this lie
in particular is the one that truly offends me. Come on,
people like, let's let's let's let's put it in perspective here,
let's rerail it back in, right, let's reil it back

(09:59):
in just how many times? Like I used to listen
to when I was doing when I was on d
C and doing radio, and I used to listen to
Mike Shanahan to his interviews. I'd be like, why are
we listening to his interview? You have a better chance
of of coming up with a proper conclusion by guessing.
You can't guess, and you have a better chance of

(10:21):
knowing what the truth is because he's not giving you.
And I think their media is all A lot of
people are piste off because they feel like, oh, Aaron Rodgers, like, no,
not really, he didn't. You just didn't catch on. So
that's that's on you. I'm sorry that that you were
the guy at the end of Usual Suspects who realized,
oh my god, the dude with the limp doesn't Yeah, like,

(10:43):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Like it just the whole thing
is so. You know, there's some people that still didn't
not that he turned hey, but they didn't realize that
he was Kysler Soul safe even at the end of
the movie. Yea, they were a great movie though. If
are one of those people that didn't put it together,
that verbal was kais are so say? Let me tell

(11:04):
you right now, let me break it to you. It's
kays Are So Safe. Where did that movie come out?
Like a couple of weeks ago. It's a couple of
weeks ago, right, I think it was a couple of
weeks ago. It's got to be Brady Quinn can. I
can talk about movies from the eighties and nineties, but
when I bring it up, I get need to not

(11:24):
I I stay away from nineties movie references purely because
that's Jonas is around. Right. Once he brings in Usual Suspects,
we'll eventually get a pulp fiction backdraft, Jaws? What else
did you have? Okay, hold on, hold on, hold on now,
because because because when we get into moments like they
like I start to feel like really really really nervous,

(11:45):
and I'll be like, because it's like, he'll flip you.
Because because this is what happens, because he'll flip you.
Flip you for real. Yeah, thats ania flip you for real.
But the only the only reason I ever brought up
pulp fiction is because Brady dresses the gime for Halloween?

(12:07):
Is that even is it even still legal to say
the gimp? Like? Can you still say this? I don't
know if you can say that. Man, that's his name. Bro,
come on, man, you can't. I don't think you can
say that anymore. I don't think if you look up
as I am dB, it says the Gimp. Okay, last,
look that up at IMDb. Look up pulp fiction I
am dB, and you tell me whether or not that's

(12:29):
a slur. Bro, it's no, he's called the Gimp. Yes,
thank you, that's what I am dB. That's what they
call him. It doesn't matter. You can't say it, well, point,
you cannot say the game. I mean there's a plenty
of movies that I don't know, like Blazing Saddles. I'm
not sure you're gonna be quoting a lot of stuff

(12:50):
from that either. The point being, by the way, played
by Stephen Hibbert, who the hell's that? That's the that's
the gimp? Okay, very good, But there's no name for
the gimp. It just says the gimp. I'm just mad
that where things Well, here's here's what we can tell
you is that there's a better chance of the gimp
starting for the Packers at quarterback this weekend than Aaron Rodgers.
All right, what should make a lot of people in
the media very happy, a lot of people very bitter

(13:12):
because a little slight of hand by Aaron Rodgers back
in August after that unfortunate Yeah, that that is unfortunate. Man.
Did you guys know that that's a fishing line? What
the gimp? Yeah, gimp is a fishing line made of silk. Yeah,

(13:32):
no kidding. So basically, basically, people may mistake the word
for a slang term and meaning, but it's a fishing term.
But I think it's interesting because you know, the word,
the one word that you really can't use anymore is
a cigarette in some places a cigarette, right, I think

(13:54):
in Europe Europe, But you can't you like they're so so.
What I'm saying is, even though it's a slang to
arned for it, you can't use it. Mann. Let me
tell you something, even though you can use it to
catch you know. And that is what's so amazing. And
you can discover all sorts of things. That's a solid discovery. Yeah,

(14:14):
that is a solid point there. And by the way,
speaking of Discover, Discover matches all the cash back you
are at your credit card at the end of your
first year. It's amazing because Discovers accepted a places in
the US to take credit cards. Learn more discover dot
com slash he has two thousand, twenty one Nielson Report.
Limitations apply, all right, So how close are we on
at when it comes to Odell Beckham? Are we on

(14:36):
the verge of a move being made? Is he finished
in Cleveland? We're gonna get all the latest on that
from our NFL Insider. We'll have that for you next year.
On fs are be sure to catch live editions of
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn
LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week days at six am
easting three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the

(14:56):
I Heart Radio app Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe Here, we're gonna have the scraps coming up twenty
bedroom now on Fox Trade. Let's bring Albert Brewer and
is a gentleman, Albert Brier? Uh? I mean you talk
about a build up for an appearance, Albert, we really
put on our professional shoes for this, for this show.
Here to deliver the goods. The Great Albert Brier with

(15:18):
us here on Fox Sports Radio, senior NFL reporter for
the mm QB Ohio State alum, Friend of the show, Albert,
what's happening? How's your Thursday? Well, you're talking about delivering goods.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna have to deliver LaVar
a T shirt or something because we had a bet
last week that she hasn't been paid off. Why. I

(15:39):
don't know. If you have you need one, you certainly
have to send it. Listen, I knew I was going
to have to put the shirt on. I mean, we're
one foot out of bounds, one foot back in bounds
from you having to do it. But it's it's all good, man,
it's all good. I kind of figured I was gonna
have to do it. Beanie Wells at me to put
a poncho on in Ohio State pauncho on, And the

(16:01):
same exact thing I did to that puncho, I'm going
to do to a T shirt if I had to
do it, and I'll I'll post it, and I'm gonna
post ripping it off once I'm done. King of Mammals
was right, and I'm gonna rip that off. You know,
I'm too versus Ohio State, two on one versus Ohio State.
Me personally, i'm two on one versus Ohio State. But

(16:24):
that doesn't even matter point and he wouldn't. I was
gonna give you a point and you wouldn't take. Yeah,
that's all right. I just can't believe we can't beat him. Man,
It's like, dang, It's like, why can't we put James Franklin.
James Franklin is the master of muddying up that game
and making it ugly and uncomfortable. Good, And for one

(16:46):
reason or another, he's only been able to win once
in that one. Yeah, don't say lucky. We blocked that,
don't you take and put luck in our one time
that we were triumphant against them. I just think that's crazy,
crazy man. Britt Proud did a nectellent job as well too.
They just I love watching that guy every year, every year,

(17:11):
no matter how good our offense is, Like that dude
has a way of just making the game money and ada,
and yeah, I mean like, I don't know, how is
that guy not gotten the head coaching job somewhere? I
don't know. I'm glad you unless Albert Speaking of ugly,
things have gotten ugly in Cleveland, what the hell is

(17:32):
you want on right now? All Beckham and all that.
You know, what's what's interesting about it? Brady is like, I,
you know, haven't talked to a couple of coaches over
the last few days. Um, they didn't see coming at all.
And you know, I once said to me, He's like,
I'm surprised, but maybe I shouldn't be. He's been good
in the building for the most part. Now, I mean,
are there are questions about his production, whether he's lost

(17:54):
this step as competitive level, Like, there are those questions,
but just as far as like what sort of guy
he's been, he's been totally fine and so um, you know,
the post from his dad and and the post from
Lebron James, like all of that, like I think from
the perspective of the Brown staff sort of just came

(18:15):
out of nowhere. And um, you know, I I Baker
Mayfield in my understanding with blindsided by it too. So
uh you know, I I can tell you that yesterday, Um,
you know, Wednesday morning, as you guys know, is sort
of the set the table meeting when coaches are a
dressing the players, and um, Kevin Stavansky basically his message
to the team was to be prepared to go the

(18:37):
rest of the year without Odell Beckham. Um. Now it
doesn't mean he's off the team, but you know they're
exploring what to do about this because um, I it
sort of came out of nowhere for a lot of guys,
and um, you know, they had had like some trade
talks the very end, right like right up against the deadline,
in the aftermath of those posts and um, some of

(19:00):
the things that were happening and just just after that,
but uh you know, like obviously like they were in
a very difficult spot, like at that point it was
impossible to get anything from him, and so now they've
got a decision to make, and it's gonna be do
we try to get him back in the fold, um,
do we suspend him for four games and risk what
might happen on the back end of that. Do we

(19:20):
try to come to some sort of agreement like the
Texans have come to with Um with the Shawn Watson,
where you know, he collects his money, but he really
isn't part of the team for the rest of the year.
Or do they cut him? And if they cut him,
you know, obviously there's the risk that it's gonna come
back and bite you because if you cut him, what
if he winds up on a team you're competing against

(19:41):
in the a f C for playoff positioning. You know. So,
because of the timing of it, because it came out
of nowhere, the Browns are in a really sticky situation.
And it's amazing, you know, Kevin Stefanski and Andrew Berry,
you know, effectively over the last twenty one months have
found a way to kill the circus um that has
sort of engulf Cleveland Brown's organization over the last twenty years.

(20:03):
And now it very much seems like the circus is
back in town. Albert. What is the feeling from people
you talked to around the league on where Odell's at
as a player now, because it's I mean, he started,
you know, every game and a season once in his career.
We talked about earlier, just the a number of hundred
yard receiving games he's add in Cleveland versus what he

(20:24):
was doing in New York. It just feels like we're
a ways away from him being that elite wide receiver.
So when we say he could come back and bite him,
is the opinion around the league that he's still got
that capability or has he seen his best days? You know,
he hate to like write anyone off, right because I
mean I was covering New England when people were doing

(20:45):
that with Randy moss Um, and they traded for him,
and all of a sudden, you know, he had the
greatest season of receivers ever had in two thousands and seven.
He was around the same age as Odell, you know,
and he'd had injury problems too and everything else, and
so he hate to write him off. But I mean, Jonas,
You're right, like it's been a while since he was
that elite guy. You know, he had three yard seasons

(21:08):
of his first three years in the league fourteen, fifteen,
and sixteen, and he hasn't even hit eleven hundred yards
since he's had a ton of injury issues. He's classed
with two separate quarterbacks. Um yeah, I mean I I
think I think what what you what you saw? The
value as far as the value like that that the
other team has put on him, Um was manifested on

(21:31):
Tuesday afternoon, and that like if you think about it,
like so when Stefon Diggs, Uh, when Stefon Diggs, you know,
shorter of showed his displeasure in Minnesota, Um, a couple
of March goo right like like like I think this
was about eighteen months eighteen months ago. Um, the Vikings
suddenly got calls and that's how the Bills things sort

(21:51):
of happened, was that they were getting calls and you know,
all of a sudden, now like you know, the momentum
for a trade picked up really really fast and the
deal got done and that didn't happen here, you know,
And and teams are aware of what's happening with star
play across the league. And I think the value of
Odell Beckham sort of manifested on Tuesday that way, and

(22:12):
that like if there was this, if there were teams
across the NFL, that we're really putting a great level
of that on him as a player. Andrew Barry's phone
would have been ringing off the hook on Tuesday afternoon
with teams trying to get him out of there, and
that didn't happen. So again, like, I hate to write
a guy off because I've seen it before where it
goes the other direction, probably not seeing the same way

(22:34):
he was three years ago. I'm gonna jump into this
Henry Ruggs conversation. It's it's a horrific happening, and the
more details that comes out, it gets worse and worse.
Is this is I mean, you know, obviously you want
to say this and all sensitivity and as it applies

(22:55):
to there was a life lost, Families have been impacted
and affected by it. Is Is this is this bad enough?
What are you receiving? Like in terms of initial thoughts,
in terms of what Henry Ruggs is future will be.
I mean, we've seen this happen before. We've seen it,
you know, things where guys may have to go away

(23:15):
for a little while and they've had the opportunity to
come back and play. What's your initial take on this? Yeah,
my initial take on it well obviously, and I you know,
I appreciate you saying that well before the first part
of that LaVar, because I do think, like you know,
we may football takes a back seat here, right, but
he is a football player, which is why we're talking

(23:36):
about it. And um, you know, I I like, I
think that that's really gonna be sort of up to
the judicial system, you know. And he's twenty two years old,
so I mean if he goes to jail for say
five years for this or ten years for this, I
think those are two different things, right, Like, So if
he goes to jail for five years, he's twenty seven

(23:58):
when he gets out, and then maybe you know, he's
got some time as a player left. He goes to
jail for ten years, then we're talking about something else entirely.
And um, you know, we've seen guys go to jail
before and come out and play again, you know, And
I mean Dante Stalwarth's you know, accident, it wasn't the
same as this, um, but you know, like there are

(24:19):
some parallels there, and he came back and played um,
you know. I mean, obviously, Michael Vick, I think that
would be the one that pops into everybody's head, and
that he wasn't He went to Leavenworth, you know, and
he came out a few years later and wound up
playing again. So, um, you know, I I think really
as much as anything with our this isn't gonna come

(24:39):
down to anything the NFL does or anything any team does.
I think this is gonna come down to, you know,
how his situation plays out in the courts, and how
long her sentences and whether or not, you know, when
he gets out of prison, presuming he goes to prison
and he deserves his day in court like everybody else, um,
you know, but like when he gets a presuming he

(25:00):
goes to prison, when he gets out of prison, like
how long, how how far down the line are we
and is he still at an age where he can
get himself in shape to play again, which again is
secondary of so many other things now, But I think
the answer to the question really kind of lies in
the hands of the judicial system, not any anybody involved
with football. Albert Let's switch gears talk about Aaron Rodgers

(25:23):
the Green Bay Packers. I'm a little concerned here. You
might be one of those media members who's really offended,
really offended by the fact that you weren't tempt abreast
of Aaron Rodgers vaccination status, and so maybe this comes
off as a surprise to you now that he's gonna
be out this week versus the Kansas City Chiefs. You know, Brady,

(25:45):
I uh, honestly really offended. I'm not offended. I'm not
offended that I don't know right right, but I do
think I will say this. I think I think like
and and again like, I'm not casting judgment on anybody's voices,
and we can argue till we're blew in the face
about the rules here, the facts. All right, this is

(26:05):
a bigger problem now because there was the effort to
keep it secret then it would have been if Aaron
hadn't gotten out there and misled people in August. I'm
not offended at all. I don't like like, I don't
necessarily think that I need to know. But you know,
I'm just thinking from a team perspective here, and I

(26:26):
don't think the teammates are gonna hold them holds against
him either, because my understanding is like this topic in
locker rooms over the last three or four months. It's
kind of fit into the category like religion, family, money,
like you you just it's a third rail thing, and
unless somebody brings it up to you, you don't bring
it up to other people, right. So I don't think
his teammates are gonna hold it against him, but I

(26:47):
do think that there is this is to some degree
a bigger deal now because it was kept secret the
way it was, And like, if Aaron had been more
upfront about it to begin with, it would have saved
him and other people a lot of trouble here where
it would have made for a couple of uncomfortable days
in the summer talking about it. But then it's sort

(27:09):
of over and done with and everybody knows what it is, right,
And like, that's where the Colts are with Carson Wentz,
That's where the Vikings are with Kirk Cousins. That's where
the Ravens were with Lamar Jackson before he got vaccinated.
That was the deal with cam Newton, right, And so like,
I'm not offended that I don't know, but I do
think that the fact that this was kept secret has

(27:29):
now because a bigger problem and not just for Aaron Rodgers,
but also for the league and for the and for
the Packers than it would have been if he had
handled it, say, the way Kirk Cousins handled it, the
way Carson Winz handled it, the way Lamar Jackson handled it.
I have a follow up to that, but I want
to ask another question on top of that, because I

(27:50):
guess they're pretty much related. I mean, don't you assume
that that Aaron Rodgers has to go through the proper
protocols within the team if he doesn't have the vexs,
So you'd have to assume that that his teammates are
aware that he isn't vaccinated because he has to go
through the proper protocols of a player that doesn't have

(28:11):
the VECs. That's first and foremost. So let's let's dispel
that myth as if nobody knew. Let's dispel that right, Okay,
all right? Then the second gut gut no, you're right,
you're right, no, And I think we should be clear
about that, like everybody knew, and um, you know, I mean,
it's pretty I mean, I guess impressive that they were
able to keep it quiet as far as long as

(28:33):
they did, because there are a lot of people who
knew um in that building. Um, it's not hard to
tell who is and who isn't um. You know. I
think where Aaron did things differently was the forward facing stuff, right, Like,
So there are a couple of things, Like I think
not wearing a mask on the sideline was obviously one
in the preseason games because we saw there on deck

(28:56):
guys wearing mask. And then the second piece of it
was the press conference, is right, the Packers actually put
all their unvaccinated players on zoom um. And so like
there are interviews of the media the unvaccinated guys, those
were done over zoom because it was better than having
to get in front of the media with a mask on. Well,
Aaron didn't want to do that. And so like they

(29:20):
broke rules there and so like there are certain ways
that they I think mislead people. But like as far
as like what like the people in the building knew, Yeah,
I mean everybody knew it, and to my understanding, like
behind closed doors, Aaron like followed all of the rules
to a t. Now, the second part to this question

(29:41):
is Aaron Rodgers has been so strategic and how he
positions himselves the things he said that first interview coming back.
I don't have a problem with him being being deceptive,
because everybody's deceptive that that does interviews. So I don't
have a problem with him being deceptive. He didn't break
any laws. But the question now becomes in his his movement.

(30:05):
I believe the methodical um things that he's done has
been to give himself more of a voice, more of
an opportunity to stay in Green Bay when this this
season comes to an end. I feel as though a
moment like this totally could derail his credibility in the
sense that now we don't know if he's posturing, if

(30:29):
he's leveraging, is he genuine, Like what type of impact
does this have on his future? Yeah, I mean, I
guess you're talking to his credibility, And I honestly think
like some steps have been taken, and I think Matt
la Floor has done a brilliant job as far as
just balancing like the two sides of this, the front

(30:50):
office and Rogers, and like kind of finding a way
to maintain his relationships with both sides, and you know,
like in the earn error trust really and you know,
like Matt's done a lot of things that I think
show them like sort of like that emotional intelligence, right,
like where like, for example, like Randall Cop coming in,

(31:11):
Like a lot of coaches wouldn't like it if a
player forced another player onto the team, right, which is
what Aaron did with Randall Cop. But Matt was smart
enough to look at it and say, this makes my
quarterback more comfortable, which is gonna make my quarterback better,
which is gonna make my team better. So I'm gonna
find ways to get Randall Cobb involved. Right. So that's
one way that I think that Matt la Floor sort

(31:33):
of created the opportunity for them to continue the relationship
beyond this year. On top of that, you see the
way they're more aggressive and going after players. Now it's
not just Cobb. They took us swing at Jalen Smith,
they went and got Whitney merciless. They've done some things
that they wouldn't have done in the past. So you know,
I think that there's all these things that have been
done where it's like, okay, like maybe the relationship continues

(31:55):
past two. I think internally they're okay, right, Like it's
what that's the way I'm getting to that is like
I think that internally they're okay this though. I think
it's going to test a few things, right because I
think that like when you look at where some of
the rules were broken and everybody is sort of complicit
in it, right because the Packers knew the rules, the

(32:15):
league knew the rules, Aaron knew the rules. I think
when the finger pointing commences on this, because it's going
to start at some point, who's back to the Packers
have right and the Packers going to depend themselves where
the Packers going to close ranks with Aaron Rodgers. I
think the way all of that, I think the way
all of that plays out could certainly have an effect

(32:38):
on what happens in February and March when we're figuring
out whether or not Rogers is going to be on
the team in two So that part of it, I
think could play some sort of role in whether or
not Aaron Rodgers remains with the team, because again I think,
you know, in a few days, in a week, whenever
it is, why the league is going to commence some

(33:03):
level of finger pointing here, and it's just gonna be
interesting to see where the Packers come down on it.
Get him on Twitter at Albert Breer. Albert always appreciate it.

of the Scraps. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you
the twenty year veteran a Fox Sports Radio, the one
and only Eddie Garcia. Well, thank you, Jonas, and a
little extra scrap from me from the world of hockey.
We've had a big trade in the NHL this morning,
the Buffalo Sabers sending Jack Eichael to the Vegas Golden

(36:20):
Nights for two high draft picks, prospect Peyton Crabs and
Alex Tuck. Huge trade. Big deal for Buffalo is a
ship off a disgruntled and injured star for pieces that
should help him in the future. Jack Eichel is a
good player, a really good player, but he's gonna have
disc replacement surgery in his neck. So and Vegas is

(36:42):
a team right now they are hurt and they're adding
another hurt player and they're looking to win now. So
when he's gonna be available, I don't know. But for
the Buffalo Sabers, who are really in a rebuild mode,
they get a lot of great pieces. We'll see how
Jack Aichle, how he can come back from the surgery,
and once he comes back, how he'll play on a

(37:03):
team with a lot of high expectations. So so he
was piste at the way Buffalo had handled it because
he wanted was he That was the story we talked about.
He was electing to get a surgery. He wanted to
get surgery, and they didn't want him to. Yeah. Yeah,
he wanted this surgery that had never been performed on
a hockey player before. It has been performed on other athletes,
but the Sabers were weary of it because a hockey

(37:23):
player had never had it, so they wouldn't sign off
on it. And he wouldn't go along with their treatment,
so they were at they were at an impasse. And
now he'll be able to get the surgery he wants,
uh and Vegas has approved that. So we'll see how
he recovers. And he was their team captain, right, he
was their captain, number two overall pick in the draft
back in Maluse. The Melussa on that team, right, the

(37:45):
Golden Knights, do they no, no, no, no, no, but
but you yeah, that's that's the yard thing right there. Yeah,
a little buffalo saber actually have something to do with that,
that team. But that's that's just you know, there's a
blue man group. You ever know, there's a lot of

(38:07):
a lot of people in Vegas that could could have
some steak in the Golden Nights. So we at Lacy.
You know, they get a guy who's not going to
be available anytime soon. Is there any chance he's gonna
be back this season? Or no? I mean, I don't know.
First of all, the surgery has to go well, and
then he's got a rehab from it, right, and that
all has to go right. So I don't I don't
know if they're gonna happen this year or not. One thing.
LaVar is right. The family does own a minority steak

(38:31):
in the Las Vegas Golden Nights bill Fully. Bill Fully
is the majority owner. It's seventy of the team that
just happened to be out to dinner with the malouse
before night's game. You know, I was just gonna let
it rack. I got your back, I got your back.
Appreciate we're all. We can all learn things. Yeah, it's

(38:53):
all good. Yeah, we can things. You know why. It's
because LaVar is azer a Pittsburgh Penguin. Get get a
pop after this. How was that a hockey game last night?
That's right? Oh yeah, your brother in law play Jack
play Yeah, there went no tea. They lost. It was
a hell of a game, though it's not a fun
long as it was a hell of a game back.
