he soon. Jonas is tremendously focused on making sure the

(01:03):
show is is the best one we've ever had. Just focus.
He's he's pretty dialed in. He has dialed Yeah, he's
down just totally focused on the show. Yeah, he made
it a point to say that did you did you
throw away a lot of scratchers? Did you just see
me throw them away? Even the tickets? Why would I
keep them? Could you go trade them in for another ticket?

(01:25):
What for another ticket? I'm telling you, dude, to re
gift them. Re gift them. They're already scratched. Just go
make someone else go. I didn't re gift them already,
what about it? But I wanted Jonas to think that
they're in the trash. Okay, hold on for a second.
What if who did you give the bur Jonas? I
mean to Lee? So what was if Lee wins? How

(01:46):
much can you win? What's the maximum? I saw eight
on there? Eight hundred bucks. I was just saying all
the money that okay, so what if Lee wins? That
are You're just like all right there you go? Lee? Yeah? Perfect.
My whole thing was I felt like, all the money
that Jonas makes doing radio, he should have just gave
me a gift. That's actually a really valid point, you know,

(02:11):
that's really uh. But he's focused on the show and
totally focused on the show, and he got one dollar
scratchers for me. You know, So, I mean I did that.
I didn't get me something. Yeah, the tequila chair, Yeah
looks comfortable. I don't buy, Yes, I don't. I don't
even buy gifts. I don't buy gifts for anybody. Don't

(02:33):
take a person. I don't care. I I get gifts
because I like giving guests. I don't care about it.
I just don't. I don't use technology like that if
it's not for football or sports. And then as it
applies to shopping, I literally do not shop. I do
not buy myself anything I do. I don't do anything.
I don't go to malls. I don't do anything. Just

(02:57):
so you know, I don't feel bad. You don't. So
you're telling me if you had a white elephant, you
wouldn't go to a sex store or pie. I had
a white Sorry, yeah, it must have missed the first
I had seen on the podcast. I had a white
elephant party at at a buddy's house one year maybe

(03:18):
two three years ago. To make something good, I just
stopped at I stopped off at uh at Starbucks because
I wanted to get a white chocolate uh seven pumps? Um? What? Yeah?
A white chocolate uh seven seven pumps or what the
white a white chocolate into my my um coffee. Hold on,

(03:39):
you get seven pumps that much sugar and crap in there,
and and yes, seven pumps and and I got, uh
whatever the dollar amount was that you were supposed to spend.
I got that in a gift card for from from
a Starbucks. That was my gift. I must be nice

(04:01):
that they got something. I mean, I know, I look,
so I made them put it in a gift like
deal because obviously in in White Elephant games, you're not
supposed to know what it is. So it was small.
So the fact that I brought it it was funny
because you have your your price limit. But everybody saw
that I brought it, so they everybody was trying to

(04:23):
get it, yeah, because they thought it was like history.
Well they thought it was like an American Express gift
card or something like that, you know what I mean,
like for more than what it was going to be worse.
I had a buddy wrapped up in a giant box,
I mean elaborate wrapping job with a bow, a can
of beans. Like like everybody, everybody was trying to get it.

(04:44):
And then up that's that's probably what makes the game work, Yeah,
but I mean, I think the same thing happens with uh,
you know, going to a sex shop and getting a
gag gi you know, all by the way, and we
keep visualizing and talking about the Just to be clear

(05:07):
in case you're just tuning in, that was a story
from earlier in the show and the podcast after the
we are done here will make all the sense in
the world that Jonas will give you all the details
of them going to the sex show. Yeah. Absolutely, absolutely,
definitely not too discreet, run out of hiding places sometimes.
All right, So so here we go. We are often running,

(05:29):
and we've got a college football national champion that's going
to be crowned in the next few weeks as we
put a bow on the college football season. Oh but
but no, you see, no, no, no, We've got ourselves
a little bit of an update because this week, UH,
college football and the the committee, the management Committee they're
calling it, they've updated their COVID nineteen protocols UH and

(05:52):
they have said that if one team is able to
play in the title game and the other can't be
is of COVID and the game can't be rescheduled, then
that team can't play. Then the team who can play,
they will win. Thus the other will have to forfeit.
So you can win a national championship this year in

(06:13):
college football without actually having to play a game according
to these protocols. And then when it comes to the
the semifinals, if one team was unable to participate, then
that team the other team will be granted the the
winning Oh yeah, the whole thing is so ridiculous. I

(06:37):
think this is the dumbest update to all this. But
but but there are probably people that are thinking, man,
this there's a real possibility this happening. First, I think
it's a long shot this happens. I think they're going
to try and figure out a way to make this happen.
But let's just play Devil's Advocate better than seven today.
Here's here's the let's just let's just pretend and that

(07:00):
this happened and you had a team either in the
semifinal or a team in the national championship game come
down with COVID and they're going to now disqualify that
team and the other one's gonna win a game without
even having to play anybody. I think it's completely bs.
I think it's crap. You've got enough options out there
to make this work, either you reschedule it, or there

(07:23):
are teams Notre Dame Ohio State. Even like the semifinal games,
those are played after the semifinal games are played before
Notre Dame's playing their bowl game in Ohio States playing
their bowl game. You can easily sub them in and
make this work. I don't want to say easily, but
you can make this work and figure it out. I
don't think it would. Are the semifinal games the same

(07:45):
as the New Year six. I mean there's like they're
like twenty four hours apart. Yeah, but they're played afterwards.
So if all of a sudden you find out so
that this happens forty eight hours before the semifinal, you
probably are going to be away like they're already playing
the Fiesta all They're already out in Arizona for that.
I just that's not a solution to the issue. So

(08:07):
you get to last year, they figured out a way
to play a game at the Rose Bull at nine
am on a Sunday. I know this because Brady, you
called that game and they can't figure out a way.
But that's what I'm saying is you reschedule. You don't
need and then plus the college rosters have a ton
of players. Everyone's active, Like this isn't the NFL. It's

(08:28):
not like where you have a fifty three man roster
and forty six are active on game, but you get
seven dudes. Hold on, you've got everyone active, so you
can move it back and figure that out. I mean,
most teams are getting boosters anyway. I don't know why
they're not adopting the same protocols that NFL teams have,
Like why would you not follow that in regards to
are all the guys vaccinated? All right? If they're asymptomatic,

(08:51):
what I'm going out there and play, Like what do you?
I have no idea why they're doing this route to
do this? Okay, no, no, you hold on, all right,
let me tell you something. Okay, this this whole thing off,
this whole thing. No. I just like when he does that,
it's funny. I guess you're cutting me off to make
one point, Like what do you You can't you just
try to say that. You're gonna have to know you're

(09:13):
gonna have other teams who are playing in the New
Year's six games all of a sudden something for semi
final games like they're already at the game site. Alright,
hop on a hop out a private you had a PGS.
You guys like to call it and figure it out,
Go chase the national championship. Tell those guys, what do
you want to swag bag from the from the Sony
seven eleven PlayStation Bowl or you want to go win

(09:36):
a national champ You know what the problem is. You
know what the problem is. You live out on the
West Coast, and you know what a wacky deal happened
last year in the Pac twelve trying to figure out
who their conference champion was gonna be? Right? Yeah, remember
remember how COVID impacted that all of a sudden you
had teams playing in the conference championship game that didn't
have any business playing in it. Okay, who won the
Who the Pack twelve championship game last year was in Oregon?

(09:58):
Didn't they win last year? Here? My here's our spots.
Who cares? Okay? Well, my point is that that legitimate
Pack twelve title game which got him got him a
job at Miami. Al Right, so this is this year.
Probably what happened when he played these games. Look at
Miami Coastal Carolina and b Y U played a game
with like fifteen minutes. Notice they got on a plane,

(10:19):
they got out there, and they played again. It was
like fifteen sixteen minutes, all right, I mean it might
have been seventeen. I mean that's fine. I think back
to the realm of reality, though, why not just reschedule it?
Thank you? I think that that seems like the most
sensible approaches. Why not just reschedule the game schedule where
you play with what you have, Like, yeah, to sit
there and say that it's COVID, you know you're going

(10:42):
to forfeit. You can't like, nah, cats worked too hard.
They worked too hard to get to that place, you
know how, you know how much has to fall in
place for you to be able to get to one
of those four slots. I just don't I don't think.
I don't find it to be you know, since Bowl
to just sell Yeah we're going to d Q the

(11:02):
team and and you know, like that's not what sports
is supposed to be based on, and that's not what
it's about. That's why I said this is a long
shot that this even happens, But just the idea that
this is even on the table, I think it's crazy.
Nobody's intentionally going out to get COVID al right, Like
I I know that, I know that it might become
as shocked to some people, But kids that are trying

(11:24):
to win a national championship aren't going, you know what,
I'm gonna go get COVID. Like if you don't just
get it at bars or restaurants, Joe Burrow, you don't,
just like it can happen anywhere. There's protocols in the NFL.
Guys are getting popped with COVID all the time. The
idea that you're going to punish these guys with something
like this or even have it on the table, I
think it's ridiculous. I I just I don't like that idea.

(11:44):
That's your best point is your essence, second best, and
my original one was the best. If I had to
stack him, I would go that one second. You know,
I'm just saying, I just feel like you are, you are,
in essence, punishing them if it's the case right, like
you're you're punishing them for essentially something that's out of
their control. You know, if they're vascinated, they're doing all

(12:07):
the right things, they can still get it. And and
that's what doesn't make any sense to me, is move back.
And for all the people who are gonna well, you know,
you got the Combine, you have all these other things afterwards,
the Senior Bowl. Everyone's gonna be understanding of Hey, I
wanted to play for a national championship. I chose to
wait and go play whenever they were schedule it too,
to go play for national championship. Like, no NFL team

(12:29):
is gonna hold that against them. If they're not going
to participate in the Combine, then for it. I mean
all that stuff, like none of that matters. You're like, yeah,
it was playing for the national championship. Sorry, I didn't
have a chance to go play the Senior Bowl, or
I didn't have a chance, you know, to go work
on my my start for my forty yard dash. So
I'm gonna do it my pro day. Like everyone's gonna
be understanding of that. Yeah, it's uh, but then you
know we are we are fast approaching here. We're gonna

(12:51):
have a you know, a college football doubleheader on New
Year's Eve. Then we're gonna have a national champion crowd
after that. I don't think either one of these games
or situation and to get pushed back. I think they're
gonna You best believe football is way different than any
other sport. You best believe they will have their teams
on lock down. And I mean when I say lockdown,

(13:14):
they will be locked down. They're gonna be monitored there.
There's not gonna be no no freebees. If you go somewhere.
Y'all going as a team. We want to go see
a movie, We're going as a team. And I guarantee
you they're not only going to have the people that
that are the grounds crew of that that cinema do it.
They're gonna have their own grounds crew going there and

(13:36):
do it. Hey, bro, that's what I'm telling you. Now
you're laughing. We're talking about millions upon millions upon millions
of dollars on top of the idea of being able
to play for the national title. They will be under
lock and key for the rest of the rest of
the way, the strength coach, serving popcorn, tearing off tickets

(13:59):
that they go to be here, Bro, it's going to
be at at a nauseating proportion of management of this
these young men's time. It's two pros and a cup
of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio, brought to you
by nitz can happen easily. A few drinks become a
few too many, It's time to go and youthing cauld
call him for ride home. Now. It's the worst gonna
happen to get pulled over, you lose your license, you
told her your car, you kill someone, drive sober, or

(14:21):
get pulled over? Paid for by NITZA. What happens moving
forward with a quarterback who finds himself in a very
very interesting spot for one franchise. We'll get into that
next for you here right here on Apasar be sure
to catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup

week days at six am Easter three am Pacific on

(14:45):

Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks with you here on FS are
UH coming up later on this hour, We're gonna have
the News with Brady Quinn. Uh and UH could be
a very holiday friendly edition of the news. Yeah, there's uh,
there's there's not really any holiday stuff going on. There

(15:06):
is some creepy stuff. I'll say that from some of
the stuff I was able to research, like why Santa
Claus white elephant? Uh, Santa Claus? Why do why elephant?
Santa Claus? Shopping? Some people, you know, kind of make
them different. Over. I was just gonna say, I grew up. Yeah,

(15:31):
I grew up. My best friend, my best man at
my wedding. His family came from Nigeria, and I remember like,
and it never dawned on me, but when I first
went over to their house and I remember seeing like
they're like Christmas displait, I was like, oh, well that
makes sense. Like I grew up a little different. It's
gonna class a little different to me. I was like, oh,
all right, I get this. Brady would have been crying

(15:54):
that they're Santa Claus photos should like always Yeah, I
felt I felt more comfortable. You know what I buy that?
Actually I do buy that from you. Chats might not
know that, but the phrase as dude, I've experienced it

(16:15):
first days. Yeah, I mean you weren't there, of course,
but but you know what we get it. I get
I'm gonna get you a pass on that last one.
Next one we do though you Yeah, yeah, I appreciate.
By the way, how how are looking? On the the
A lot of scratcher update Legal lap War. He won
eighteen bucks and two scratchers, so basically even out on

(16:38):
the twenty Apparently apparently Jonas got what he wanted, Brady,
he got somebody to sympathize with him on the Twitter.
We're talking about you know how much of a victim
he is, of course of the show are you talking about?
I don't know. I didn't look at it. I just
was listening to what you said. I don't know. I
just know what you're sad. You should have got LaVar anything.

(17:00):
I don't know. I don't know. You know what, whoever
you are, you could kiss my ass? Can I say
this about Jonas? Jonas is a very very difficult guy
to get a gift for because he's very particular, like
trust me, like he doesn't eat food really like for
those who don't know, I swear to you he does
not really eat food. And he like even like I

(17:20):
remember once I think I got you a pair of
kicks one time for your birth there or something. But
you're very particular about the shoes. You get the size
and all that. You just got to get some yoga pans.
Hold on a second. You you got me, You got
me a pair of shoes. I wear them all the time.
They're great yoga pans that I've ever seen. The only

(17:41):
thing you've ever sent me of is a picture of um,
you were wearing a pair of crocs and you had
to watch on in the photos. Yeah, and that was it?
That that that is a good point. Yeah, and Wire,
you know what, could you bring that photo up? He
could say that. I definitely can't. Yeah, there's I could

(18:01):
definitely bring that up. And I believe that's when I
was playing for the Jets. I believe that's why. Then. Yeah,
well I couldn't find my wranglers. You know, I couldn't
find my wranglers. So I went with the quite possibly
the best ever skit on Saturday Night Live was the
Wrangular open fly jeans when they just went after that

(18:24):
whole thing. If you have a moment right now in
your day, go look up Wrangler open fly jeens skit
from Saturday Night Live. That was one of the most
well done skits ever coming off the Brett Farve, just
so so uncomfortable all the way through. By the way,

(18:49):
do you think it's okay to drive stone The druth
is your reaction times slow way down. When you're high,
you not only put yourself in danger, but everyone around you.
Stopped kidding yourself. If you've been using marijuana in any form,
do you not get behind the wheel if you feel different?
He drive different, Drive I get a d y paid
for by NITZA. Alright, what is what is Jimmy Garoppolo's future?
All right? Because obviously he's gonna be featured tonight. It's

(19:11):
gonna be featured tonight against the Tennessee Titans. A little
Thursday night footballs you get ready for a holiday weekend.
What the hell is this future? Because I mean I
think everyone just thought the assumption was, well, you know,
Trey Lance are going to slowly integrate him into the
offense and he's gonna be the quarterback of the future.
But Garoppolos played pretty well there. There's the team is

(19:31):
as a whole is playing better somewhere else. I mean,
they're just gonna walk away. Can I ask you guys this,
Like he's a winning quarterback, like when he's healthy, let's
call it whatever you want. I know, because he plays
that system, everyone considers him a game manager. I'm just saying, like,
look at the two years he's been healthy for the

(19:54):
majority of the season and even just the games he plays.
He's a winner, he's accurate, he's he's smart, he's a
good decision maker. He's not a guy who's gonna throw
a ton of picks. Now, he may not be able to,
you know, buy time and create and all that, but dude,
he gets the job done. Like I I just, uh,

(20:14):
it's I don't want to make this comparison because I
feel like I get absolutely lamb basted for this. But
it's almost like kind of like in Green Bay with
Jordan Love, like you almost might he might need to
be like Trey Lance needs sometime. He might need to
be there for a couple of years before Trey Lance
is ready and you're able to pay off that draft pick.
And maybe I'm in the minority on that. And and

(20:36):
obviously Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Garoppolo two completely different quarterbacks.
I mean, one, you're considered one of the greatest talents
of all time. No one's gonna say that about Jimmy Garoppolo.
But what he's playing, man, he wins. And that's the
only thing I can say for that. So I just
I don't know what the year he's having that you're
just gonna give up on him contractually. What what is
the effect of them moving on because I lose track

(20:59):
of these because there's a different quarterbacks with different situations.
Matt Ryan's got one to where they're kind of tied
to him. But Garoppola, they can get out of the
deal after this year, right, Yeah, I believe that's the case.
I think he's got one year left on it, so
like next year as be his last year. And I
think the dead cap is really really minimal, so if
they wouldn't have cut him, they could and it would

(21:20):
almost be nothing. I think it's like a little over
a million. And then, um, I want to say, like
his I mean, his soundly is pretty reasonable for a
starting quarterback who's playing it at his level. Let's say,
I mean a guy who I think you considered in
the top half the league, and I think he's he's
helped him to this point. And then other thing that say,
outside of George Kiddo was the best tied in the league.
I mean Deepo Samuel is fantastic. But we're also talking

(21:42):
about the way they use him as a running back.
It's not like you know they're there. You know, he's
highlighted as much in the passing game he is. But
you know, Bren and I you there's I'm not sure
what's what's been going on there. I just they could
do to have a little more around him. I think
at least a throw too. Maybe maybe again, maybe I'm
in the minority with that opinion, but I just I

(22:03):
think he when he's healthy, he's a winner, and he's
done a hell of a job. I don't know that
you just want to move on from that and start
over with Trey Lance and maybe go through some of
those growing pains, Like I think Kyle Shanahan and John
Lynch have lost enough where they probably don't want to
have to continue to keep going through some of those
tough lessons or years with a young quarterback. Yeah, but
sometimes I think you gotta rip the scab off. I mean,

(22:25):
it just it is what it is. With this one.
I love, it hurts, but it's kind of cool to
watch what happens. I prefer to let it heal. But again,
I mean, you know, a teacher, you're kind of soft.
I mean that's fine, just come from that software at life.
I think it's a gift giving practical. It's more practical
to let it stay there in hell. But sometimes you
gotta just rip. How about this for you? How about

(22:47):
you gotta rip the band aid off? How about that?
Let's rip the band aid? Really, I don't really do
band aids. I'm on match around. I mean I wrap
gifts right now about Sometimes you gotta wrap the gift,
give paper off, like right, Lance is your new your
new gift. Sometimes you just gotta rip the paper off
and reveal what it's going to be. And it might
be a good gift, it might be a bad gift,

(23:09):
but nonetheless it's the gift that you have. Scratching was
scratching it off make more sense in this analogy. Sometimes
you gotta scratch scratch it off, and you just don't
know what's gonna be underneath the scratch off flakes. And
more often than not, though here's the key to this one,
you're generally disappointed. Ye, You're generally disappointed what you're scratch off.

(23:30):
So I'm just saying I'm not trying to say that
Trey Lance isn't gonna be what they need him to be.
But we're gonna find I would assume we're gonna find
out sooner or later. I think he's definitely going to
get more the benefit of the doubt to play sooner
than than Jordan's love will. That's a great analogy though,
because literally, you know, you gotta scratch off, rip that,
rip that off, and if he goes in there, you

(23:52):
may be disappointed where or you find out much like
your scratch offs, you have to go back and get
another one. They have to go back on the draft.
I see what you did that, Yeah, I mean his
his scratch off may reveal tickets. You know, although I
would say this, you know, having a mediocre quarterback is
better than having no quarterback at all. You know, we're

(24:13):
keeping the gift giving theme here. Yeah, you know, you're
just giving us some real jewels. Just you know, my
my personal problem. He tries everywhere. Very good point. You
objected a lot of places to two pros. That cup
of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio, brought to you
by Nitsa. Do you think it's okay to drive stone?

(24:34):
The truth is your reaction times slow way down. When
you're high, you not only put yourself in danger, but
everyone around you. Stop kidding yourself. If you been using
marijuana in any form, do not get behind the wheel.
If you feel different, you drive different. Drive high. Get
a d U I paid for by NITSA. We're gonna
have the news with Brady Quinn, Uh coming up. That
was that that wasn't a drop? Was not appropriate? Really

(24:59):
not so tell me if that was in the law
and Dad and law got that. Uh. And now we're
gonna have the news with Brady Quinn coming up here
at less than fifteen minutes from now on Fox Sports Radio. Earlier,
we did another edition of over Unders Over Unders by

(25:20):
the Way, presented by Draft Kings sports book and authorized
sports betting partner of the NBA. Download the Draft Kings
app and use code two pros to get in on
the action. The Browns and the Packers were were featured
in that. In that over underbet, we had ah the
quarterback number for the Cleveland Browns. The over under of
the starting quarterback number was six and a half, right Lee.

(25:43):
That's when we went with which is you know saying
that Baker Mayfield still has not cleared UH COVID protocols.
They're optimistic, but I mean, Brady, we could be seen uh,
possibly another dose of Nick Mollins on the road at
lambeau Field coming up on Christmas. There is that possibility
still out there? Is there that possibility there? Are you

(26:04):
sure about the positive? I mean there's you know, they're
saying like he's not been cleared yet. Are slim regardless
regardless of who's playing, their chances are slim. So it's
kind of like, do you want to have somewhat of
a better chance or not so much of a better chance.
Either way, you're gonna leave, You're gonna lose either way.

(26:25):
It feels like a pretty grim outlook for them. Well,
I think I think Aaron Rodgers and Lambeau Is is
one of the toughest tasks that any player, any team
is going to go up against. So that's especially this
time of year, and we don't even know the situation,
like how much practice time he'll be able to get
if he does even start and play. So it's gotta

(26:47):
be tough. I know, Kevin Stefanski's back, they brought him
off the COVID list. It's gotta be tough for them
to sit there and basically watched last week part of
their destiny or what you know, what the season could
be gotta be taken from them. As good as you know,
Nick Polton, Nick Mullin's played in that spot. It's just
it's gotta be tough to sit back and watch that. Now,
facing the schedule they face, here's what I would. Let's

(27:10):
just say, worst case scenario. Worst case scenario, Baker Mayfield
doesn't clear COVIDE protocols. Like I said, they're optimistic. It
hasn't been official yet. They're going to find out more today.
The game is not for a couple of days. But
let's just say he doesn't, and the Brown's going to
lose this game and they missed the playoffs. I mean,
I hope people keep that in mind when they start
to rewrite and recap the season for the Browns and

(27:32):
Baker Mayfield's performance, because you know how this is gonna go.
People are just gonna, oh my god. I mean, this
team was this and that, and they didn't make the postseason.
Like Baker Mayfield didn't go out and like we said
with the college football stuff, he didn't go out and
willingly get COVID. He got pop for COVID. He missed
a game, possibly two games down the stretch. Tough situation.
I just hope we keep that in mind in discussing

(27:53):
the Browns after the season and don't just look at
it like an abject failure the entire year. I hope
we keep that in mind because they're getting screwed here.
So an apologist, I'm just saying it's it's the box
score readers. You will see some people who you know,
not much like the interception with Jalen Hurts, right, like
mamb we talked about that, really really did you go
see the interception? So there will there will be a

(28:15):
category of people who I do think they'll look at
the season if it ends up, you know, not being
what last year was. And Sam was a step back here,
it was a bust or whatever the case. Maybe he's
playing banged up, and I think that's the frustration about
it is, you know, we we see the narrative all
the time like everyone's playing banged up. Yeah, but not
everyone's job is going to be as impacted, you know

(28:35):
that the same way depending on the injuries. And he's
he's been trying to fight through all this and and
obviously COVID end up coming at a really unfortunate time
for him and their team. So I look at and
think there there probably will be a degree of that.
I'm still maybe one of the few that thinks he'll
get that long term deal. I think they llaw from something.
It just depends if he wants to agree to it,

(28:55):
because it's not gonna be a market resetting deal in
my opinion, like at least not after this season and
everything else. I think he may have to play this
thing out like Kirk Cousins or Dak Prescott if he
truly wants to get that big deal, that second contract
like he's looking for. I mean you think so you

(29:16):
do you believe they're going to give him a contract
this year? Like if you're betting, you think they're going
to give him one this offseason. But it's not gonna
be what he wants. Well, that's that's I mean, what
is he gonna do is say no, I'll wait another
year and then and then try and redo this thing again.
Here's the other side of wanting to wait to get
more is what if you have a injury riddle consecutive season.

(29:43):
It's like, do you take the bird in hand even
though you know that there's a better looking bird that's
in the bush and He's going to have to really
think long and hard about that, because this is truly
where business prowess comes into play, like is it is
it more of are you going to take the gamble
and bet on yourself? He said that this year, coming

(30:05):
into this season, I'm betting on myself and for what
it's worth. He's been He's been banged up really badly
and and it has impact. I called one of his games.
It has impacted the way he plays. They're running backs
have been banged up. It has impacted the way they play.

(30:27):
It's impacted the way he plays. So you gotta ask
yourself the question is the risk worth the reward at
this point, And that's gonna be only a question he
can answer him and his family, but that is that
is going to have to be the discussion that takes
place with the people that he trust the most, because

(30:50):
that's not an easy decision to make. You know, you
go get injured again, or you have a season like
you're having this year, the value could could actually fall.
You could continue to lose value in terms of what
you you made, leverage as as as a long term
contract or even being in the same market that you're in.

(31:11):
So you know, I think that that's something that he's
gonna have to to weigh out. But it's not going
to be an easy decision to make. And uh. And
so we will get to see whether or not Baker
Mayfield is on the field come Christmas. That is a
one thirty Pacific four thirty Eastern time kickoff their Browns
and Packers. Also in over unders, we've got a Davante

(31:31):
Adams pick we want to throw in there as well too,
A leie what we got on on Davante Adams for
a little over under action receiving yards ninety one and
a half for Davante Adams, I'm taking over on that.
No faith in the Brown secondary, huh. I just have
faith in Aaron Rodgers. Yeah. Um, I'm gonna say, I'm

(31:56):
gonna see the under I think Denzel Award has been
pretty good this year. Huh. You know what, you know
what I'm gonna I'm gonna go it all right now,
he just insult me. I'll take the under. I'll take
the under league alright, just switched it on the fly
right there. I'll take the bud on Twitter better believe it.
That's how that works, by the way. On Twitter, over

it can happen easily. A few drinks become a few

(33:25):
it is time for something we do on the show
called this. Let's go to the news desk. Here's Brady Quinn.
Al Right, Brady Quinn with the news channel ten b
Q News. What do we got? Let me ask you this.
Are you guys pretty particular about your chicken wings? Yeah?

(33:48):
I don't like slimy wings. All right, Well, here's what'll say.
Taco Bell has announced that participating restaurants across the nation
will soon be the dusting off an entirely new food segment.
If you will chicken wings free single week in January,
Taco Bell would be putting its own spin on chicken

(34:10):
wings and basically, Taco Bell released a statements saying, hey,
we've tried different things before, like our nacho fries, so
don't be scared off. Come try some of our chicken
wings that participating restaurants, you know, always say I get
nervous when when teams start using trick plays too early,
you know what I mean, Like, it says to me

(34:30):
that there's something that isn't right. You know, yeah, that's
you know, I don't know. You can't win straight up, Like,
so you're you're not gonna win with tacos and you
know case of dias and burritos. What I don't get.
It's like, does McDonald's up chicken wings? They have, I believe,
well chicken nuggets. They have had chicken in the path.

(34:52):
I think I could be wrong, I don't know, but
that's what I'm saying. Like, what other fast food restaurant
like Taco Bell or if you would said mc donold's, Wendy's.
No one else has chicken wings, So why are you
venturing into that realm? I mean, if you got a
deep fry or all you gotta do is throw them
things right on in deep fry. But it just doesn't again,

(35:12):
and marketing and branding strategy is is everything. Identity is everything.
You're going away from the identity of what your core values,
of what your your restaurant is, what your spot is.
I think that that's a bad move, but I mean
they might be good wings, so you know, I mean,
I mean KFC might start making burgers. You know who knows,

(35:34):
you know, they do chicken sandwiches. I mean that's that's
a little bit, but that's sandwich. It's a little bit
more relatable than Taco Bell going that chicken. I mean,
you know, Jack in a Box does have talk. Jack
in the Box came out the gate and said, we're
doing everything. Yeah, that's Jack in the Box. Like whatever
you're Jackie's throw it in the box, like I hear you,

(35:56):
you know, I mean they had all kinds of different
French fry combinations. That's what you you expect if you
don't expect that, we expect a certain thing from Taco.
By the way, has anybody ever had jacket a box
sober Nacho supreme? Like about it once that I definitely
wasn't sober. Yeah, Like, I don't recall ever having jacket
of box sober ever, not one time. Also, since we're

(36:19):
all the subject of fast food, there is a difference
between Carl's Junior and hard He's correct. I'm telling you
Carl's Junior think Hardy is better? Really? Wow, you think
Carl j is better? What's the difference? It's just about it.
There's a little about it. Just it's you know, it's
one's east coast, one's west coast, or just someone like

(36:40):
they both have a double Western bacon, but western bacon. Yeah,
but there's something there. I'm telling you, there's a different
taste to it. I don't know what it is, just different,
it is, yeah, it is different. Come on. You have
you ever said at an Airbnb? Yes, now you good?
Good experience or bad experience? My most have been good. Okay,

(37:02):
all right. Well, one young woman who was recently visiting
New York City, she discovered that her hotel room, which
she booked through an Airbnb, literally shared a window with
a Japanese restaurant. Like she opened the window up and
instead of looking out onto the city, looked directly on you. No,
not even into the restaurant, directly onto another table. There

(37:24):
were two other people sitting there right on the other
side of the window. The only thing was they couldn't
see her because of the reflective coating on the coast.
Kind of creepy. That's great, man. I don't know how
that's creepy to me. I mean, it's go ahead, like
some people want to wake up, they want to look
at the ocean. You gonna wake up and look at
like some price. Come on, man, what if they were

(37:47):
doing some things that was just meant for them to
be exchanging and sharing in that moment and you're sitting
there watching them behind the interrogations. You know, don't get
you know, don't get a nab by by the you know,
getting the interrogation room. They were in the interrogation in
the restaurant. You gotta build around for your surroundings to
tell you're out in public. Just keep it going, keep cool. Yeah,

(38:11):
whether they was having a moment, yeah, look at me.
What if what if she was pleading to him to
look at her? I mean, are there people who get
really excited watching the people eat? You know, maybe that's
the thing. I'm a people watch her, but that that's
a little bit too two people who watching watching and stuff.

(38:31):
You know, there's a fetish for everybody. There's somebody who
gets aroused watching the Nathan's Hot Dog eating contomes. And
that's that's that's where I'm just saying. So there was
a park in St. Paul, Minnesota. They had a scale
back their holiday lights because of squirrels. Had these squirrels
literally true through the wires last year and the vendor

(38:52):
refused to put them up because the cost and the
headache that they called. So we got some squirrels that
are basically impersonated the grist. The squirrels were getting damaged
and they didn't do it. Squirrels are rats with better hairlines.
There's there's there. Rats with hairy tales. I hate them.
I hate them getting gate. Fox Sports Radio has the
