(01:07):
just grab mass and Shenanigans here on Fox Sports Radio Parade.
Uh yeah, well listen, Yeah, that's a good one. Wait,
what happened? We're done. We're there. Okay, a are are
you guys? Have you guys ever been in a as
(01:29):
a fan? Ever been to a championship parade? Just as? Okay,
I have because when Fox was covering the US Open
at Oakmont in Pennsylvania, about twenty minutes outside of Pittsburgh
back in the Penguins had won the Stanley Cup and uh, yeah,
LaVar and I are a die hard Penguins fans. Uh
(01:50):
and well, the only reason I win is because we
were in town for it, and and I was like,
you know, why not, I'll just go check it out.
It was so lame. I don't get it. I don't get, like,
what is the appeal just to see some guys riding
around on floats, drinking beers who who don't care who
(02:11):
you are, like it just and it was nothing against
the players, but I was there watching it, going what
is this? I mean, the bo was off the charts
because it was June in Pittsburgh and the humidity out
there is just is destroy that it was bad. But
I just I was a party. I didn't understand. So
I don't get the whole wanting to go to a
(02:32):
parade to celebrate your team, like I just don't know
what the appeal is other than I just well, I
don't want to work. And so are you making excuses
for why more Rams fans weren't there. No looks like
from other angles, it looks like they packed them into
a very very very very very very small space and
(02:53):
it looks like it's about you know, maybe people maybe
and from less than the pep probably supposedly that they
have a peppery with maybe three thousand people. It was
it's maybe it's close to something like the Pepper rally.
That one didn't make sense either. It's it's not even
at their facility, Like aren't the Pepper rallies at the
team facility usually? Like I mean the Bengals was big enough.
(03:16):
There was at the stadium, which is technically there. Yeah,
And and and isn't that where they have training camp is
at Bengal Stadium. I don't think that they traveled to
go anywhere. The only time they'll do like a family
practice in Dayton. They used to go somewhere else too.
They used to go to a small college because I
remember when I was a little kid, I went down
and saw them. That was like back in like the
Jeff Blake days playing quarterback for him. So, um, I
(03:40):
can't remember. It was a Cumberland college. Maybe wait a second,
you are a Browns fan and you went to go
see a Bengals training camp. Well, it was on the
way to a baseball tournament in Tennessee. So I literally
went to practice. I saw them for a minute, and
then afterwards basically bound and that was pretty much. He
(04:02):
doesn't have to justify his visit to I mean, exposure,
Exposure is exposure, you know what The crazy thing was
about it, though, So I'm standing there at the fence.
You see all the players going by, and you see
Jeff Blake go by, and he had one of his
kids with them, and I think I was trying to
(04:24):
talk to his one son to have his dad autographed
a baseball, right because I was going down to a
baseball tournam. It's all I had with me. The crazy
part about that is I believe it was Emery, his
son who ended up when I went to St. Louis.
He was a rookie end up playing wide receiver at Auburn.
He was like, somehow our our paths crossed again, like
(04:45):
back when I was with the St. Louis Rams and
he was there, and I remember talking about that. I
was like, holy crap, man, talking about the world's like
coming full circle and something so small. Remember, he didn't remember,
but I remember, like I remember seeing him back when
he was like a little kid like that, and I
told him that story. He was like, that's so crazy.
How many years apart was that. I'm trying to think.
(05:08):
So that would have been your seven for me. And
he was a rookie that year, so I guess we're
he was probably I was ten at the time, so
he's like three years old. Oh yeah, he wouldn't remember that.
Jeff Blake not a bad quarterback. He's probably played for
a long time in the NFL. But yeah, I just
I've never and I asked Brady this question, have you
ever been like part of a golf gallery? LaVar, like
(05:29):
gone to a golf tournament? All right, I've covered a
golf so that's yeah, So that sucks too, And I'm
just trying to figure out what's worse, being part of
a golf gallery or going to a championship parade? Can
tell you which one? Which one? Championship parade because you
can go and be douche in a golf galler gallery,
(05:50):
and it's fully expected. Everyone goes there expected to see
some d bag dressed up like to actually go play
the course, even though he's not. He's just walking and
acting like an absolute clown and probably drunk out of
his mind. So I actually think it's like it's expected,
like you go not only to like walk the course,
(06:12):
maybe go have a few beverages. There's a few party
houses on the course somewhere you go fully expecting to
make fun of those guys while you're there. A championship parade,
it's like, I don't know, I mean, you're taking off
work to do it. Probably, It's just there's a lot
that goes into it. I just think it depends on
what level. Like I can't even begin to imagine what
(06:34):
it would be like to be a Crimson Tide football
player and have a victory parade there, Like I think college,
a college victory parade like championship parade would be way
fund do they have, of course they do, yeah, but kids,
you know, I mean they've got class, they're drinking, Okay.
(06:58):
I mean I just say I think think for professional
I think it depends on you know, where you're at,
Like like or who it is, Like I think the Lakers,
Like when I think back to the Lakers winning it,
I think that would be a fun huge that. I
think that would be a fun deal. Yeah, that wasn't
I think that the Chicago Bulls would be a fun
(07:20):
when they were winning. I think that would be a
fun victory parade. Um, there's just more fun back then.
Maybe that's what it is. Yeah, I mean you couldn't
get it in touch with athletes as much. You didn't
see them as much outside of TV. It's all you
saw and and again. And I think that that's why
that makes Brady stopping in Cincinnati so cool, because back then,
to see these guys up close, it was like everything.
(07:45):
It also, I think depends on the city. Like if
the Browns ever won a Super Bowl, that is going
to be unbelievable. I mean, how how long do you
think their procession would be? I think when the Calves
won it. Just think when the Calves won their NBA championship,
that sort of parade, the way that town responded enacted.
I mean, it's just it's a different feeling the Cubs
(08:06):
pro one one they short have walked. The Cubs parade
started by Wrigley Field and ended up downtown. Um, I
forget specifically where, but that was huge because it had
been you know, just just a hundred years or some
was the Penguins one you went too? Huge? Was that
well attended? Uh? Yeah, and I just didn't get it.
(08:26):
We don't care about whether or not you got it.
How would you compare it to what you saw yesterday?
I could guarantee you that there was more people at
the Penguins. Penguins had more. Yeah, it looks so, I mean,
but again, I'm a parade. People that didn't even like
hockey started liking hockey. And I made that point earlier.
You know, there was a point in time I had.
(08:48):
It's so far. I'm a righty, but I do most
things lefty. I mean, some of the most important things
I do is left handed. So I gotta I got
to hockey, got it. I got the street hockey unbelievable,
And I played street hockey because of the Penguins, and
then I ended up playing uh rollerblade hockey like I
(09:12):
like literally, I was playing hockey because of the pen.
Did you have a stick? Do you have a revolution?
It was a lefty, it was I played lefty Cohle
Revolution Stick Stick Hockey. Remember the brand, but it was
definitely the main brand that they used in in the NHL.
Whatever it was, but it was Red. I remember it
(09:33):
was Red. I did my tape job on it and
different things like that. Made sure I taped the bottom
of it. You know, when you wear it out a
little bit, you you you retool it re tape and
stuff like. Yeah, man, that's a true story. Like I
was really in the hockey because of Mario Lemieux and
Paul Coffee. Those were my guys. And so now you
(09:54):
think that there's gonna be kids in southern California, I
think I think there's going to be an impact on
Angelino's based upon them. When yeah, the ash, they might
actually once word travels back and they actually find out
the Rams won the Super Bowl and Cooper Cup was
(10:15):
not only offensive player the year, but Super m v
P meant I mean, they're certainly going to start breaking
down and identifying more talent as they do their daily
daily deals. I mean, they'll start charging for for churning virus.
They can pay for Sunday ticket next year. I believe
they're going to see if if somebody's as fast as
(10:37):
you know, one of something out in the pasture. Something
they're gonna see if they can tackle sheep and goats.
Can you buck? Can you buck a goat? You know?
How long did it take a carrier pigeon to get
from the west coast out to like, that's gonna take
at least a week? Okay, so that you gotta give
it until next week for us to see unless they
(10:59):
sent one of the speed pigeons. See see, but here's
the problem. Now they sent one of them speed. I
don't know what. I don't know what the secret post
is to get them so fast, but they'll get there. Yeah,
but he but here, but here's the problem. They can't
fly anywhere near Minnesota because when the Vikings put up
(11:20):
that stadium, birds were crashing into the into the glass
thinking that it was see through and dying there. Well.
And also I wouldn't recommend I wouldn't recommend flying over
Boisey because they'll see that turf and think it's a
body of water and next thing, you know, but they
got a flat north. They got a flat to the
east coast. I mean, look, it's not really north. I
(11:42):
mean they could just fly east and then started traveling
north and I'm I'm fair, it's going to be cold regardless.
And look, you guys gotta assume they're they're they're flying
into mid middle. Yeah. But but but I think you
guys are also missing a really important point, especially in
these time. If they're not vaccinated, they're not getting anywhere
all right, So we gotta be careful about what's gone.
(12:04):
I don't know what the laws are in Pennsylvania. I
think they're probably it's gonna be a tougher time getting
out of California. Yeah, it's a good point. Nobody breaks down.
The mask might cut down there, Okay, that'd be harder.
I just think it's a fair point. I just think
(12:25):
a good beard is a good protector from from any
type of viral germs or anything like that. Man, that's
that's why, that's why you have hair. It's like a
new home for it. Well that's that's the place where
they're supposed to live and die. Like that's you get
that hair going and and it and it blocks everything
from being able to get to you. Again, that's your
(12:45):
first line of defense. Again, points these birds should grow beards. Yes, Okay,
I mean all of this sick, very thick Beard. These
are all great points. I think. I think I think
we've really really tied a bow on the NFL season
here with our coverage of pigeons flying, speed hair, speech,
(13:07):
speed delivery. It's the communicy community. Yeah, I can't believe
he hasn't hit the button at all. I mean, Bert, basically,
it's pigeons. Listen. The way pigeons are treated in this
country is isn't just an outrage altogether. They put spikes
up on the top of you know, supermarkets, so they
(13:30):
don't Yeah, I think that is racist against pigeons. So,
I mean, you know, I feel bad for him. But
speed pigeons, like that's a whole another game. Man. They're
they're very very t get into that. Oh yeah yeah,
yeah he was. Yeah, he had clappers, you know what
I mean, like they do they pull tricks when you clap. Yeah.
(13:52):
I thought that was like that light system, you know,
kind of like clap on clap. Yeah, but in training
day they said you're clapping pigeons to notify when the
hops are nearby. That's very true. Yeah, so we're I'm
just saying like that, you know, you don't have to
just clap him to get him to do tricks. They
can follow commands and you know, try and tip you
off when the police are around. But them doing the
(14:14):
tricks was alerting people to people that shouldn't be there.
I agree, but again I'm glad you caught it. You
caught it. Clap it the things they'll do for bird seed.
(14:35):
Alright and uh and again uh. Welcome the Fox Sports
Radio folks. It's two Pros and a Cup of joetfs ARE, alright.
Coming up next, we're going to get into U a
coach in the NFL who has had enough. He has
(14:56):
had enough, he has fed up with some of the
conversation and you will hear him very frustrated. Next year
on fs ARE, be sure to catch live editions of
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn,
LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knox week days at six am
Eastern three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
I Heart Radio app Two Pros and a Cup of
(15:18):
Joe Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks
with you here on fs ARE. You can hang out
with us as always on the I Heart Radio app. Um,
So there is a there's a coaching. By the way,
later on this hour, I have heard some rumbles. I'm sorry,
I'm just saying I haven't heard some rumblings that, you know,
(15:38):
somebody who has been on this show once or twice. Um,
maybe we'll be making another appearance here on this show.
I've heard some rumblings later on this hour. Again, I
can't you know by that, but I think it's been once.
I think it's been once because he he won the
only bet he wast so you know who it is.
I just I'm hearing. I can just tell by the
(16:00):
way the temperature has changed is sort of around the
studio that it feels like somebody is is going to
be making an appearance later this So is that why
I'm so cold? Yeah, it might be. I mean Brady
was here last week. He knows how warm the studio is.
I mean it's, uh, you know, it's cold. And this
(16:21):
dude comes in with like tank tops and crop tops.
It's not the crop tops weren't crop tops. While you'd
be coming in with no like and you have your
car and again but you don't use it, and it's
like you're warm, weren't sweats. But if people knew we
dressed like slobs this time in the wine. Yeah, I
(16:42):
do ye sweat dress like a slob. Well, you're doing
TV today, star. I'm always smooth. A little bothered by
the fact that you shaved, but I'm sorry, come on,
you look good with the goate You should have kept it. Sorry,
I'm sorry. Can't you can't look too old when you
do television. Start trying to replace you with younger people. Meanwhile,
(17:04):
I don't even have a position that's even like thought
for to be replaceable, you know what I mean, Like,
I don't do enough. So you already know the next
The next step is out the door. I gotta stay
looking young man. Alright. So so uh Michael McCarthy, the
head coach of the Dallas cowb Yeah, big um Pittsburgh guy.
(17:27):
So Mike McCarthy. Uh, he finally spoke up, finally defended
himself a little bit to Jerry Jones. A couple of
weeks ago, I went on this just bizarre sort of
I'm gonna call local Dallas radio and just do a
couple of interview hits and say, uh, well, you know, uh,
Dan Quinn came back here because you know, people would
(17:48):
love to be the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys,
and he turned down at their head coaching opportunities to
be here. And if there he was, that was, that
was him at my wedding, by the way, that was
Jerry Jones was speech right there and so uh so,
Jerry Jones went on to say that if he didn't
(18:09):
have a head coach, he'd absolutely considered Dan Quinn to
be the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. It was
just very awkward, very uncomfortable. Uh. Mike McCarthy probably didn't
feel the most comfortable with some of the comments that
have been made over the past couple of weeks, and
so he appeared on The Rich Eyes and Show yesterday
and Mike McCarthy talked about the comments from Jerry Jones
and dan Quinn returning his d C. I've never once
(18:33):
felt that I was not going to be the head
coach moving forward, and frankly, I've been at this long enough.
That's that's all I'm focused on. And I think that players,
the coaches, football operations is really is my main hold.
I'm the leader of this football team and I'm about winning,
and that's that's all I've ever focused on, and that's
all I ever will focus on. Are these narratives something usual? Absolutely,
(18:55):
I've never dealt with anything like this. So I wish
I didn't have to come on here and as your
questions about it, Yeah, no, no doubt about it. I
wish we were talking about something else, but um, it
is part of our landscape. We talked about him staying here. Uh,
you know, long before he even took it, took the interview. No,
obviously when he took the interview, and then this, you know, this,
this narrative broke out. I think it's in reflection to
(19:19):
the relationship to Dan I do have you know, he
just said, hey, man, if I'm not comfortable with this narrative, um,
you know, if you really feel like I need to
take one of his jobs, you know, just be honest
with him. And I'm about winning. He's about winning, and
the best thing for the Cowboys is for Dan Quinn
to be here. So there he is. There is There's
(19:39):
a lot of ways. I mean, there's a lot of
ways you can digest that. Yeah, Jerry Jones, shut your
ass up, is what he's saying. Let me, let me
coach the team and then you just go, you know,
a lose contract negotiations at the quarterback. Again, I don't
know that that's the conclusion that's mine. That's we didn't
(20:04):
we didn't get all the quotes in there. But one
of the cool things I thought was Mike McCarthy talked about,
you know, his conversation with Dan Quinn, and Dan had
literally said to him like, hey, do you want me
to go take one of these jobs? So it takes
some of the pressure off of you. Like that real
conversation came up and McCarthy talked about it, and he said,
(20:28):
you know, if I was younger or just starting out
as a head coach, yeah, I'd probably tell you to
get the hell out of here. But he seems much
more comfortable at this point. He's obviously more established, he's
won a Super Bowl, he's made a lot of money.
Where he said, no, like this needs to be what's
best for the team, and basically like I understand the
(20:50):
hat that I'm wearing. We're being the head coach of
the Dallas Cowboys is different than anywhere else. And now
he's been a part of two storied franchises with Green
Bay and now Dallas, but the difference is the ownership structure.
Cream Bay. It's it's not the same as every other
team in the NFL, and and in Dallas it's different
because you've got an owner who's much more outspoken, much
(21:13):
more involved in probably the day to day operations than
other owners. So you know, I think Mike McCarthy basically
admitted the fact that, look, it's different, and this is
something but this is something I signed up for and
and I'm willing to say I can deal with this
as long as this is what's in the best interest
of our team. And I'll just say this, man, I look,
(21:35):
Dan Quinn isn't the coach he's got to be worried about.
It's Sean Payton. Like Sean Payton's the guy that I
think would slide in or Jerry Jones would want to
make that move for uh and and and take over
for Mike McCarthy if things didn't go well. That's that's
Milda's sense of how this whole thing would play out
if Mike McCarthy wasn't their coach after next season. Here's
(22:00):
what I'll say. I'm gonna use this as a as
an example. All Right, You ever, you ever go to
a party or or a family gathering and you're meeting
the girlfriend for the first time of your sibling, and
the sibling shows up and the girlfriend is totally enamored
(22:24):
by the brother the sibling. You're not kind of fully
fully kind of committed to the fact that, you know, like,
is there a chance that my my chick really likes
my brother? Right, But at the same time, you still
(22:44):
have that uncomfortable feeling about what what the interactions may be,
how they talk to one another, did they laugh too long?
Like I lived this because my brother was like super
cool and I wasn't. And and like three or four
times growing up, like literally my girlfriends like my brother
and they would date me to be around my brother,
(23:06):
which was y'all whack for that? If y'all listening. By
the way, I got the last laugh. Um So anyway,
so here here, So, so here's the point I'm making. Right,
If Jerry Jones started dating Mike McCarthy, and Mike McCarthy
represents the one that's in the relationship with Jerry Jones,
(23:26):
and you see how Jerry Jones and Dan Quinn have
reacted to one another and how they liked one another,
and how how that relationship is evolving. They needed to
lean on Dan Quinn this year, and they did and
they gotta win. While Wow, Mike McCarthy had COVID their
defense needed to improve, It has needed to improve for
a very long time. Dan Quinn came in and became
(23:48):
the solution to a problem that was plaguing this team
for for quite a long time. If I'm Mike McCarthy,
basically what he said in that interview was I get this.
I acknowledge it, and I even had the conversation with
my brother about this, like, look, do you want me
to leave and go somewhere else? Right, No, you don't
(24:10):
need to leave. We want you here. We're better here,
We're better as a family. We do it together. But
that seed is planted, that seed is in Mike McCarthy's head,
that man like he might like Dan more than me.
Their relationship might be better than ours. There are things
that they like about Dan that to me, they don't
really seeing me. There is going to be. And whether
(24:33):
whether I'm read too deeply in and or not, I
don't know. But for me, what I got out of
what what I'm listening to Mike McCarthy say, he's basically
giving an admission, like listen everybody's me and him acknowledge
that this is out there. This is a narrative that's
out there, and and and Jerry Jones was a part
of that, like he's the almost the reason why. So
(24:55):
it's like, listen, I'm I'm the girlfriend, like I am
the one that's in this relationship. I am the main person.
I don't want you to mess this up like I don't.
I don't want in fact, I don't want to lose
this to you. That's there, that is now there. So
now that what that makes me feel right now is
if anything goes wrong, if if the offense doesn't play
(25:19):
as well as it needs to play, if they don't
win as many games early on as they need to win,
do you not think that Jerry Jones is looking at
it that way? Do you not think that Mike McCarthy
is looking at it that way? Do you not think
that Dan quinn is looking at it that way? Do
you not think that the players, the media, the fans, everybody,
because of this narrative this offseason, everybody's going to be
(25:41):
looking at it that way. And I think that this
sets the stage for kind of some odd moments, man. Sure,
And and I think if they were gonna move on
from Mike McCarthy during the season, dan quinn would be
that interim head coach that would get that title. However,
I keep going back to Sean Payton because he's previously
been there. We know the love affair that Jerry Jones
has with a lot of his you know, offensive coaches,
(26:03):
and you know Sean Payton would potentially be eyeing that
position more so than others in the NFL. And I've
got a story that kind of relates back to why
I feel like Sean Payton might kind of slither his
way into that position. It might be laying and planning
some of those seats right now to get into that spot.
(26:24):
So in college, I had won what was called the
Maxwell Award, right it was a Player of the Year award,
and you would go to Atlantic City, UM for this
for the event, for the presentation. Yeah, there was a
it's a cool event. It's awesome time. Best part for
(26:44):
me was there, like, Hey, we're gonna fly you private
back once you're done, And like at that age, dude,
you're like, wait what I get the fly of private
play awesome? So then they tell me who is gonna
be on the plane with me. Now, granted I'm getting
ready to start preparing for the combine all that good
stuff and get ready to get drafted. Well, Sean Payton
(27:05):
is one of the coaches that's on the plane, and
then you look at I believe it was the old
general manager for the Kansas City Chiefs, Carl Oh gosh,
I want to say Peterson was his last name. I
don't think that's right. Um, but anyway, it was, so
was Carl Peterson. So they were both on the plane
with me. I feel like there was someone else, but
(27:27):
I don't know that they were affiliated with an organization,
So I digress. We were supposed to go to South
ben first to drop me off because that was what
made sense, you know, logistically it was the shortest you know,
you know trip and distance. Well, we got to kind
of talking before the plane. Then we kind of get
(27:47):
up in the air and um, you know, Sean Payton's
kind of sitting there having a nice conversation and uh
it one thing leads another and he's like, you know,
we got a time crunch. We really need to be
in Kansas City you know at this time. So forth
he's like, you know, do you mind if we stopped
there first. Now now granted, like I think I still
(28:08):
had some like finals going on. Like I was literally
flying back to South ben to take a final that evening,
and I was thinking to myself, Uh, like what am
I gonna say? Am I gonna say no to a
potential dude you can end up playing for or a
guy who might select you in the draft? Um? And
so I was just like, oh, yeah, no, man, that's
that's cool. Yeah, like it was just a camp city first. Meanwhile,
(28:31):
I'm thinking my head like I didn't think this trip
is gonna be that law. I thought I had a
little more time to study, and so we ended up
flying dropping him off, and then we you know, fuel
up quick and then get back up to South Bend
when they dropped me off, and I'm like racing in time,
just barely got there to even take the exam. But
I remember sitting there thinking to myself like, man, I
(28:52):
got swindled. I should have stood up and be like, no, bro,
I've gotta I've got an exam. And especially in retrospect
when I didn't play for either of those guys, But
I was sitting there thinking to myself like he was
so cool about it too, like the way he asked
and how he kind of planted the seed and then
kind of put a little more pressure on me about it.
And the next thing, you know, like you can feel
(29:12):
the plane turning changing course. That's like the hell, how
that happened so fast? I didn't even know what took place?
Has So Sean Payton is staring the plane with mental
mind tricks and it's going to be the Dallas head
coach after next season. I mean, I'm just saying, dude,
he's playing on. We have have been wrong in your
(29:32):
your early bold predictions. I mean you you called the
Heisman Trophy winner you but what else did he call you?
What else you call things? He got that from me?
I mean I gave him, yeah, of the spring game.
He does that with with college spring gas and that's
where he came. Sorry. I just like the Jerry Jones,
(29:58):
Like what good does it do for him to constantly
just add more fuel to the because McCarthy mentioned it, like,
you know, there's there's great for television. It's great that
that's fine, but that's what it is. That's what it is, Okay,
But how that winning you know past the second round
of the playoffs. He's not coaching thirty years. He's just
(30:19):
doing his part. If I'm sure where he's doing isn't working.
So I mean it is working from a business standpoint,
but from a football standpoint, I don't know how how
does he think this is this makes this situation any better? Like,
I don't think he wants to lose, but I think
he does want to keep the Dallas Cowboys brand front
(30:39):
of mine. He wants to keep them in people's conversation.
I know the frauds that to Philadelphia fans are thank you, Jerry.
Those are the things that to me, that's what makes
Jerry Jones such an intriguing you know, he he will
be one of the most impactful people on the history
(31:03):
of the National Football League that that we've probably ever seen,
and and deservedly so. I I agree, But again he
has you have to have thick skin, you have to
have that it factor that that Jerry Jones has to
be able to do what Jerry Jones does to pull
(31:23):
it off. I mean, you're seeing a guy who tried
to to emulate what Jerry Jones became to the Dallas
Cowboys has now had a change in mascots or whatever
you want to call it, that team named team brand,
and seemingly it doesn't look like it's going to end
well for him. So it's not a given that you
(31:43):
can step into a position like an owner of a
franchise and do it in a way where you can
tow the line. You can even your toenails, can even
go across that line at times and still be a beloved,
a respected owner, someone who who people are really really
(32:04):
you know, gravitating too. I think that that's his only
real I mean, he really wants that that that super Bowl,
But I really think that this is something for him.
This is more so him continuing to create you know,
attention on his team. I won't make some glory Jesus
welcome to the club. But all right, it just gotta
be careful. You just gotta be careful with that. Go
(32:26):
be careful that that could be interpreted the you know,
just just a little advice here, uh and it is
two pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas notchet here on. Never like
my brother being around my girlfriends after that either, By
the way, it was just not something that I was okay,
(32:47):
with yeah, you know, and and he was my big brother,
and he was like the star athlete. They always picked
him first in street pick up games. Do you know?
I was an All American and they still pick my
brother first in a street a turkey bowl, whatever it was,
street pickup game at my mom's house. I was very
(33:08):
I was distraught. I was I was upset. I felt like,
you know what, I can't I can't do enough to
get from out of this. Dude, shadow, I'm just not
happy about this. Uh, if you're wondering what the all
of ours talking about, I just thought I'd just get
that off of my chest, like have a little bit
(33:29):
of therapy. Sharing is carrying in the I appreciate everybody
you know beering with me in that moment because I
gave an example of why there's going to be a
problem with Mike McCarthy and Dan quinn. But you know,
I'm just saying I just had to stop. I had
to stop bringing my girlfriends around my brother for for
quite a long time. You know, man, we were too
(33:51):
close in age, you know, too close in age. Two
pros and a cup of jail here, you guys are
the worst. I appreciate to support, Bertso and John As
I appreciate the next live Bet Jesus is sent it
to me. Uh, not quite sure what the hell he

that two pros, A cup of Joe and a therapist. Yeah,
(35:18):
I think that. I think we need to go with that.
Oh man, you need help. Uh So we're going to
coming up top the next hour ten minutes from now.
There's a story that will not go anywhere in the NFL.
It is back. So if you were tired of this
story last offseason, it has taken a new twist regarding
(35:39):
a star player. We will get into that here on
Fox Sports Radio. So I know, uh live that Jesus
has sent out a tweet he should be appearing your momentarily.
What's even I have no idea, I mean Jesus, I mean,
I know the Winner Olympics are going on, but like,
(36:00):
why can't you if you're the Winner Olympics and you
want to actually increase the interest in your sport, why
can't you get everything on live? Like why is everything
on delay? Seemingly like like we we can't get a
single sport on live. The the Australian Open when it
when it pops up, those are on live. Uh you
know it's like the golf does that too sometimes, so
where portions of the tournament just won't be televised. I
(36:21):
don't get it, Like there's not options. You can't figure
this thing out, and there's been a lot of different
sports and things going on and you can't have it
all live at once, can't you. Well, I mean you
can figure it out. It's a winner Olympics. I mean
they've been selling us on how important the Winter Olympics
are on for years. Who's been selling us all you know,
people things, just people and things. I don't think that's
(36:42):
even close to being true. I don't know that. I've
never regarded the Winter Olympics even close to the Summer Olympics.
So uh, I'm not biased because my wife was a
Summer Olympian. But I also have always been enamored with track,
Like just watching the hunter meter like that to me
is like the greatest events in the Olympics. Yeah, it's
like Kentucky Derby. I mean, it's it's quick, it's over with,
(37:06):
but you see the best athletes, the fastest guys out there.
But did you see, uh husain Bolt when Tyree Hill
lost that forty yard dash at the Pro Bowl um
because Tyreek Hill has been trying to get a race
with Usain Bolt, and uh usain Bolt made a comment
about him losing to Micah Parsons. Sorry, LaVar, you know,
I just wanted to point that out, and Uh, I
(37:27):
would wonder had if those guys raced in a hundred
meter dash, how close could it be? Especially husain Bolt age,
like how close would that be? He's still taking the
same But I think Tyreek Hill has a better chance
at a forty. I don't think he's even coming close
in a hundred meters because he's gonna ta I mean,
he's gonna tap out top speed around like sixty. Were
(37:48):
you saying bolts like still accelerating It seems like at
that point, Yeah, I don't. I don't even know that
he would be able to get him at forty. I
think he could get him at maybe twenty or thirty.
But once you get to that, once you get past thirty,
like them first maybe five or six steps, it's over.
(38:10):
Like it's it's you saying bolt out of the gate,
isn't isn't super fast? Because of how long he is,
but he stretches out while he's he's in his drive cycle. Um,
that's why I feel like the start matters more for
Bolt in a forty than it does for Hill. Hey,
(38:30):
you guys, okay, now the lights Okay, what's going on
in here? Seriously stopped farting around in the back now, literally, Lee,
I know you like to do that, But now the
lights are out in the studio. We can't see anything.
Ferris Bueller's day Off was on TV. Yeah, it is
breezy and uh and all of a sudden, there's a
beaming down into the studio here and now a piece
(38:53):
of paper is falling down from the sky and just see.
You know this is not a radio gag. We're all
on the up and up here lights are flickering. It
is this morning, on the seventeenth of February two that
I bet Jesus proclaimed he picked to me the USA
over Great bitten, Great Britain Winter Olympics Curling. I he
(39:17):
didn't even spell amaster. Yeah. Fox Sports Radio has the
