are involved. We'll get to all that. There's a rumor
out there about a potential Tom Brady Sean Payton pairing

(00:21):
and what could have been for the Miami Dolphins. We've
got the latest on the Aaron Rodgers front. What the
hell is going on with Major League Baseball. We've got
somebody getting fat shamed, and we've got an all pro
version of the f s R I R. All of
it is yours coming up next here, Two pros and
a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio. You're listening to

(00:41):
Fox Sports Radio. Yeah, ah, two pros and a cup
of Joe. Here, Fox Sports Radio, Basic Business and basicly.
Uh it is LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas Knocks of
the Here on fs ARE. You can hang out with

(01:01):

and wherever you are making us a part of your

six o'clock Pacific. So welcome into your Monday. The week
starts here. Let's have some fun. What are you running
out of body parts to use? So before before long,
we're gonna have to do it. And I'm gonna have

(01:23):
to dump it, you know, we have to dump. We're
getting to the end. Well, I mean, speaking of bodies,
I know you're a little you're fighting through the pain, right, Yeah,
I'm a little sore, man, but I'm gonna save it
for the I R Are we doing? Ye? Good, very good.
I'm gonna say that I'm ice in my back right
now as we speak, a big slab, ice right on
the spine. Yeah, some work. I mean that too, Brady.

(01:47):
That Yeah, I was just telling Jonas the magic happened
this weekend. Man, I felt like I was like I
felt like I was dating again. It was weird. It
was a weird place to be. I think as good
as that once was. But I'm good as good one
as I ever was. Right, I'm as good as I
needed to be. What are you guys talking about thrust thrust. So,

(02:10):
speaking of good, the L A Rams had a pretty
good year. They are the Super Bowl champions, and there
was a lot of speculation about what the future would
look like for the L A Rams uh, and not
just whether or not um you know, anybody was going
to go through and see the timeline of tweets from
the photographer that fell off the stage at the Super
Bowl parade. But we leave that alone for now because
apparently things are good on the Sean McVeigh front. Sean

(02:33):
McVeigh looks like but with the L A Rams Uh,
he talked and gave other Rams the heads up this weekend,
doesn't plan on going anywhere. According to Adam Schefter, the
assumption is he's getting a raise. I haven't seen any
numbers that have been thrown out there. But nonetheless, the
Rams get their head coach back. Sean McVeigh is back

(02:55):
with the L A Rams as they try and repeat
a Super Bowl champions. So there, it is good for
the rap Why are people doing like a victory lap?
I told you so. He wasn't gonna leave. I was like, well,
there's a period of time where it looked like he might.
I mean, there's a reason why this thing dragged on
for so long and there is speculation about it. I mean,
it seems like there's some people who feel like they're

(03:16):
doing a victory lap the fact that he chose to
stay instead of leave. Is that accurate? Yeah, it's Uh,
there's people after the fact that are doing this whole thing. Uh.
The well, you know, it was never a believable story
to begin with, the fact Sean McVeigh would even entertain
walking away, it was laughable. It doesn't even make any sense,
all right. Why it takes along until you do it,

(03:37):
until you walk away and you do it. Let's let's
be clear here, if you're getting offered almost what he's Yeah,
so if you're talking almost three times as much as
he makes as a hey coach to do less work. Like.
He made it very clear he wants you know, there's

(03:57):
this concept of faith, family, and and your job, and
some people really kind of take that that, you know,
one of those categories or all very seriously, and sometimes
one of the categories is more important than the other.
He made it very clear that he wants to be
able to spend time with his family proud of him. Uh.

(04:19):
He wants to build a family proud of that, uh,
and he wants to be able to spend time with
that family. Gotta love that. So if he's put himself
in position where he could actually improve his pay, improve
his economic and social status by what he's doing, and

(04:42):
and now had the time to be able to spend
with with his family during the course of the week
leading up to when he has to work. Um, if
you're not thinking that he's taking that seriously, First of all,
I think it's super bright. Whether he planned on doing
it or not, it's super bright to even put it
out there and see somebody possibly bite on it the

(05:05):
way that Amazon did. So whether it's true all the
way or not, it's it's out there. And now I
wonder for somebody else, like, Okay, well, if you're gonna
hire me because saw mcveigh's off the you know, if
he's off the market now and you are offering him that, well, um,
what are you gonna pay me? Right right? I mean,

(05:25):
it is kind of lightning in a bottle if you
would have would would have decided to jump, right. He
just won the Super Bowl. He's you know, been incredible
so far as the head coach it almost It reminds
you a little bit of Madden. The only difference is
I think Matten even had a longer, you know, tenure
and the track record of even success even as young
as he was as a head coach. But it gave
you that feel to it. I think the interesting thing

(05:48):
about it is he's not even getting paid the equivalent
to what Amazon offered him, which was a five years,
a hundred billion. It's it's close that he got a
pay bump, you know they I think they doubled his
pay to day with l A. I just look at
this and think, all right, so he's gonna he's got
a contract to stay for another five years. I'm telling you, boys,

(06:08):
I don't see him stand that long. I think if
you're already contemplating it now, looking at the cap situation
that they're in now, I think him definitively telling everyone, hey,
I'm coming back. That may help some of these players. Now,
you know, say, okay, am I willing to take a
little bit less? Or do I want to go into
free agency and then just trying to make as much
as I can given this might be my last big contract.

(06:30):
You know, they're gonna start contemplating those decisions now. Um,
but it gives you a better chance to get Aaron
Donald back. It gives you a better chance to get
Odell and Von you know, Von Miller and some of
these other guys who were unrestricted free agents to come back.
In the case of Donald, so he doesn't retire, you know,
it gives you a better shot at that. I just
I think it's more tied to Matt Stafford. I mean,

(06:53):
those two in Cobbo Wobo or whatever the heck they
were down there, they made that decision to kind of
make this whole thing happen, and they made it happen,
and they want a Super Bowl. I think there was
there's a there's kind of an unwritten agreement or trust
between those two where I think when Stafford decides to
hang it up, I think that's when you'll see McVeigh
hanging up. I think it's that sort of relationship, that

(07:15):
sort of situation between those two. I think he's out
by I don't I don't think he's the head coach,
and I don't I don't buy this that it was
just deployed to get to the Rams to give him
a raise. I think there was more to it. I
think I absolutely believe just the timing of it, the
fact that this stuff came out before the Super Bowl.
I think he started talking out loud and he started
saying some things, talking about his his dad, his relationship

(07:38):
with his grandfather, was always away from football, started talking
about family. It got away from him and he was
having a serious discussion about it and this idea that well,
now it was never you know, nobody should have ever
ran with that story. There was nothing there. Why did
it take him almost two weeks to make a final
decision and why did he have a meeting set up
with Amazon next week? He was absolutely kicking the tires

(08:01):
on this thing. Absolutely, whether he was using it for
leverage or not, the realms were going to have to
talk to him about his contract. That's one thing not
A question I would ask you guys, is do you
think that the Amazon play forced the Rams to give
him more than what they would have offered him just
winning the Super Bowl and he's returning back as the

(08:22):
coach Um. Yes, probably, I'll say yes, because let's just
let's just be honest, fellas, all right, When when you
look at when when your a woman decides to leave
or she's trying to leave you at that very moment
is when you're throwing out your best offer, right, you
got nothing else left, whatever that is coming, whatever comes

(08:45):
out of your mouth. Yeah, like that is, but that
is the last and best office. So so pac Man,
like that is, that's the last best offer. You're gonna
be able to make it that instant. And I think
this was l A's best offer because I believe, and
I don't know this for a fact now, but I

(09:07):
think it's solely the head coach. He's now the highest paid.
Now you've got other coaches in Bill Belichick and and
Pete Carroll who they they oversee it all. I mean,
in particular, Bill Belichick wears multiple hats, and I know
Pete Carroll kind of has the power even though John
Center is the general manager. But it's ultimately Pete Carroll.
You know mcveighan's need work, you know, side by side,

(09:30):
it's two separate deals. I think he's now solely the
highest paid for a guy who's just being the head
coach and all this. Yeah, just looking at and Belichick
is what twelve thirteen million a year? Like I keep
any different numbers, I keep getting I keep getting different
numbers to where some stuff says it's like twelve thirteen,
then other people are saying that it's more so that's why,

(09:52):
and and none of and the coaches salaries don't count
against a salary cap, correct, No, which is why Again,
if you're an owner and you really believe you've got
a guy who makes a difference that can win, why
not pay him as much as you need to. I mean,
I don't care if it's fifteen million. If he helps
with a super well what else matters? Yeah, it's um,
this is gonna be funny to see how this whole

(10:13):
thing plays out though, when when it comes to that
roster because he him putting Aaron Donald on the spot
like that. Um, I just wonder how that landed with
other people. How would have landed had Sean McVeigh put
Aaron Donald on the spot like that and then decided,
you know what, I'm gonna go called games on Thursday night,
Because then it's just like what are you? What are
we doing here? Like I'm trying to get a raised

(10:35):
as well too, And then what do they do with Donald?
Is he is? Is he going to be compensated? I mean,
if you're compensating Sean McVeigh because you just want a
Super Bowl. I think everybody clearly understands based on how
the playoffs win. Aaron Donald is still the best defensive
player in football, one of the best players period. I
wonder what what gets done there because there's conversations about
maybe a thirty million dollar a year deal because t J.

(10:56):
Wattson Now, Uh, he just did eighteen years ago. Is
that long Yeah? That long ago, and he was the
highest page then. Now he's like, what top six, top
eight I think going into this year. So he he's
due for a bump because there's no doubt he's Again
we don't give it to him every year, but he's

(11:17):
the best defensive player in the league. Yeah, he definitely is. Hey, listen,
if they pull it together, let's see see how long
they pull it together for. I mean, we we keep
mentioning Odell Beckham. Odell Beckham isn't there's no way he's
gonna play next year. I mean it's not at the
point in time that because the injury took place. Yeah,
there's no way he's gonna play for Whoever, if they

(11:38):
were to bring him back, I think it sounds good
in theory and the nature to bring guys back. We
don't know how much von Miller has left. Like von
Miller was dominant at times during his time here with
with the Rams, but you could tell he's lost a step.
You can tell that he's not moving like like he
did for one reason or another. I don't know, but

(12:00):
I'm assuming it's because of his body feeling the way
that his feeling. And then there is the cap issues.
I mean, they're going to have some challenges in front
of them if they're planning on being the same type
of team that that was able to get to where
they you know, we're ultimately able to to get this
this season, So it'd be interesting to see how it
all plays out. Two pros and a Cup of Joe

All right's going up next. It's the biggest story of
the NFL off season and things are shaping up very
nicely for one fan base. We'll tell you who they

(12:44):
are right here on fs ARE. Be sure to catch
live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe
with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week days
at six am Eastern, three am Pacific on Fox Sports
Radio and the I Heart Radio. All Right, two Pros
and a Cup of Joe here, Fox Sports Radio of
our Errington Brady quin just a little little shot to

(13:09):
the ribs out of where I got to talk to Brady. Alright,
that's a you know, a good conversation. We will get
into that lights with me having this conversation with you.
I mean, let's I'm just focused on the show and
see absolutely a whole lot of saying nothing. Yeahs. I
was looking for more like feedback from you. You know.

(13:31):
You know, a break probably isn't the best time to
have the whole conversation. But and the fact that you
said that further confirms that I have to have this
conversation with Brady fair enough. Uh So we're coming here
in about ten a little over ten minutes from now.
There's a major story in the world of sports, but
is it. We will have that discussion and probably insult

(13:52):
some people along the way that here on FS are
before we get into the very latest on the hot
topic in the NFL, do you want to let you
know we are brought to you by indeed need to
spring back into hiring season. You need, indeed the smart
hiring platform that delivers four times more highers here than
all other sites combine, according to Talent nest, post a
job and hire a SAP visit indeed dot com slash credit.

(14:16):
So the latest on the Aaron Rodgers front, Well, there's
a there's a there's a couple of angles that we
can take on this. The first is, uh, David Baktier
is the latest to to get his contract restructured. There's
also a report from Rob Dmowski, who covers the packers
for ESPN, that the expectation is that Davante Adams is
going to get franchise tagged. Um, there's still time to

(14:37):
work out a deal, but there's a deadline to get
the tag done, so they, you know, try and get
that done and then maybe work on a long term
extension with Adams afterwards. And then there's the Diana Rasini
report that came out that Aaron Rodgers wants to be
the highest played, highest paid player in football by a
wide margin um, to which Pat McAfee reached out to

(14:59):
Aaron Rodgers for information on that and he called it
categorically falls. So we've got all sorts of false reports
and things that are happening in Green Bay as we
wait for Aaron Rodgers to make his decision with the Packers. Interesting.
Can I just say this, I think the idea that
Aaron Rodgers wanting to be the highest paid player in
the NFL, whether it's true or not, I don't really

(15:19):
don't care. But doesn't he have the best case of
anyone in the NFL given what he's done the past
two years? Like when you're the back to back league
m v P and I don't care what your age
is because this isn't gonna be a Patrick Mames ten
year deal. It's probably wouldn't be more than maybe four UM,
depending on how they structure it and if they were
gonna put on some avoidable years like they did with

(15:42):
Drew Brees, so you could spread out that signing bonus
um and wouldn't hit the cap as big. You know,
what does it matter if you're paying him fifty million?
He's been the best player in the league the past
two years. So would you say you have all of
the rationale and everything to justify that is the fact
that the guy has been in everything you'd hoped you
would be the last two years. I just I don't

(16:04):
even know why it's a story. It's like I just
kind of go, yeah, I probably should be right. Why
is this a big deal? It's it's very difficult to
ever and ever is a long time. It's very difficult
to ever be the best at the pro level consecutive years.
It's like you're you're probably more likely to get struck

(16:28):
by lightning. You're probably more likely to win a four
hundred five hundred, six hundred million dollar lottery than it
is to be in the position that Aaron Rodgers is
sitting in today. So when I look at what this
scenario plays out, green Bay is in a winning situation

(16:53):
if they can figure out whatever it is that they
figure it out, and Aaron Rodgers is still a Green
Bay pack her. If Aaron Rodgers, after being a consecutive
back to back league MVP, is not back with this team,
I don't care how you slice it. I don't care

(17:14):
how you put makeup on it. I don't care what
you you thought it was. Interpretation wise, it was a must,
it was an assess I don't care what you categorize
it or deem it as it's a loss. Green Bay lost,
and green Bay will have to live with whatever it
is that comes with that. And and that's the bottom line.

(17:37):
If you trade in this scenario, there's a possibility that
you can say, Okay, we got this amount of of
draft equity out of trading him, and it can justify it.
It can justify it depending on who's willing to give
up what they're willing to give. But I still think
it's a loss in the end. If Aaron Rodgers is

(18:02):
not a green Bay Packer next season, well, listen, I
think we're gonna get the announcement outside of retirement. Yeah,
there's that. I think we're going to get the announcement tomorrow.
I think it's happening tomorrow. That's what Jonah said, even
on the under he did. I just I think it's
gonna go down that way. I just wait what Lavart's
high over. Yeah, so I don't think it will be resolved. Yeah,

(18:24):
so then it's not gonna happen because Um, yeah, he
is good. Dominated Yeah. Isn't it nice when, like, you know,
your teammates like give you compliments and stuff. In't that nice? Leavar?
But it's just kind of like Aaron Rodgers, right, it
just is what it is. Yeah, No, it's nice when
they give the complex. But there's something that then become agitators. Right,

(18:45):
there's something that uh you know, go out and call
him selfish, which again, which the irony and not just
to throw this out there. I mean, look, I don't
have a bone and to pick with the whole thing.
But a guy and Greg Jennings who left to go
make more money, which is kind of funny, right, Like,
wasn't that how he ended up leaving Green Bay? Wasn't
that the whole point? And he's gonna then condemn a
player who's back to back m vps, who if even

(19:08):
if he wanted to be paid fifty million, which supposedly
isn't true and by the way, I don't think it
is anyway, because he turned down more money before last
year that was widely known. So if it wasn't about money,
then why is it about money now? Again? So even
if that was the case, it wouldn't matter, but it
is hilarious that someone would call it another guy what
he did the exact same thing and when elsewhere. So

(19:29):
Greg Jennings, anytime I've talked to him, he's been a
super nice guy, like super cool guy, and and so
I don't have anything bad to say about him, but
there is something between him and Aaron Rodgers. And I
think if if the story is correct, there was a game, uh,
Greg Jennings last year in Green Bay. There was before
a game, Rodgers was having a conversation with Greg Jennings

(19:53):
and another team, a player on another team, and he
threw something out like, uh, you know, hey, Greg, you
should go there next year. And Greg Jennings took offense
to that because he thought, well, why wouldn't you want
me back here? And so then it just sort of
started this weird dynamic. And Greg Jennings has been one
of these guys who's been very outspoken, but like the

(20:13):
whole calling somebody selfish off a report that we don't
even know if it's true, Like if that's a direction
we're taken with this stuff, Now, what the hell else
are we hearing that that that's not accurate? That people
are are are running with and calling name or name
calling guys based on a false report that Aaron Rodgers
has denied himself. I think I think the worst part
about it is when you have guys who are former

(20:36):
teammates that get credibility that have no credibility with exactly
what I was about to say, Like, that's what burns
me about it is when you're talking about someone who
they had a fractured relationship at the end, there's no
relationship there now, and yet he's gonna be the one
that comes out and speaks and makes news. But that's
how media works. We all know that if if something
happens with the team, and that has been something that

(20:58):
I've always tried to maintain and stare clear of, is
when something happens, it's like when Marty Schottenheimer passed away,
everybody was calling, can we do an interview, can we
do an interview? Gotta die this down and the other
and they you know, the moment somebody it has some
type of a connection or a relation to whatever it is,
that's the biggest story that's out there. If they're an analyst,

(21:20):
if they're if they're in media, whatever it may be,
that's who the media is going after to have ah
an interesting uh you know, comment or or interview about
what's taking place, because we seem to think that they,
you know, they know more than than what everybody else does.
So in this case, I mean, he gave his opinion,

(21:41):
and that's I'll say, you know, in media, that's also
a part of it, especially depending on what type of
media you're in, the forum that he's in. When he
was on First Things First um is its opinion driven
and and you know he can have his opinion. Have
you been on that show before? Yeah, And I've worked
with Greg extensively. Like dude, he is a good dude,

(22:01):
and he's a solid dude. And and and for what
it's worth, that was his take on it. That's his
take on it. And I just think that that's kind
of you know, how it works. But but with that
being said, you know, I kind of feel like maybe
sometimes we get a little pot up and and sometimes
the opinion maybe a little bit too strong, and it

(22:21):
can be looked at as there there might have been
something personal connected to that, you know. And I debated
Greg on on Aaron Rodgers in terms of going going
back to Green Bay versus leaving and although I feel
like my reasoning is sound for why I believe he
will return to the Green Bay Packers, and I've maintained

(22:43):
that from day one. Is is that I'm now in
position where I can't really debate Greg jennings Um on
it too much because he's a former teammate. So if
whatever he uses, I don't have his intimate knowledge of
the workings inside the building as he may have. Even
if it's inundated with or or it's outdated by new

(23:08):
hires and new people, it's still a team he played for,
and that makes it different. I I get that, but
you know how this works, I mean, and it ends
up being sometimes you get too close to a situation
or there's too many emotions involved, so it clouds you're
thinking and judgment. Right. That's why consultants exist because sometimes
you've got people working within the company, they get so

(23:29):
fixated on certain things or can't make the right business move,
and they need someone coming in who's got a fresh
set of eyes, who's got no emotions connected at all,
and they just come in and say this is how
I see it, this is what you need to do
in it want to be profitable or have success. And
that's again, I think sometimes people just get too close,
or as you said, they let some of their their

(23:50):
personal vendetta's or motivations behind it, you know, fuel some
of what their actual saying. The idea that Rogers and
I've never met Aaron Rodgers, I have no idea if
he's a good guy or not. I know Brady has,
I've never met him. But the idea, the idea that
he's you know, selfish or not a good guy, or
some of the other conversations that have been out there,

(24:11):
like the fact that his teammates, guys like Randall Cobb,
Davante Adams, uh and guys close to him speak up
as much as they do about how good of a
dude he is. Tells me we a majority of people
have no idea what the hell they're talking about. Like,
they're not around him, they're not in that building. They
have no no. Not one teammate came out and aired

(24:34):
him out for his stance on COVID not one, or
being vaccinated or immunized. Not one guy, even though everybody
on the outside said, oh, it's selfish, he's putting his
team at risk. What if they lose a playoff game?
Because of him. Except like all that, not one person
within that organization, and you knew they all, they all
knew what his status was. Not one guy came out
and buried him, And that told me everything I needed

(24:55):
to know about him. Okay, let me ask you this question.
All right, did you guys all see the suit he
was wearing the NFL honors man? All right? Does that
look like a man who's trying to flaut with a
bunch of money and stuff like that when you're wearing
that sort of suit out there? Yeah, it was something comfortable.
Like what what cologne do you think he used? That's right,

(25:18):
that's right, bet, your assid was stets It's the first
thing I thought of. I was like, that looks like
somebody who sprayed stetson on. In fact, not only did
he sprayed it, he sprayed it in the air and
did a pirouette into the stetson before he walked on stage.
All he needed was a broach about stetson, because we
actually used it as a prop on our Saturday college

(25:38):
pregame show, The Big New Kickoff and all that. I
opened that thing up because I hadn't spelled stets in
a long time. This is pungent. Like, if you're wearing that,
I'm not gonna disrespect it in any way you deal with.
And well, I was just saying people are gonna notice

(26:00):
and they're going to be able to smell you. Like,
whatever it is you're trying to cover up, you will
cover that smell up with stetson, that cologne of alcohol.
If they lit a match, you might catch on fire.
Are you guys? Cologne? People like, do you spray coloone?
I do too, And I think it's kind of outdated
because everybody has the body spray approach. I'm not one

(26:21):
of those. Actually. Cologne, Yeah, it's more like oils. It's
like scented oils. I'm like essential oils type. I feel
like the Terry Pittsburgh of you. It's kind of like
next level, like boogie it is, no it is, but

(26:41):
but he is. He did just take a shot. I
will CoA side. Hey, I will coaside on that one
because that is so far away. Come on, man, essential oils.
I got you ran away from from a dog. I
ran away from a dog, and that's how you knew
you can play football. And you're that too, man. Yeah. Man,

(27:04):
it works very well and it works very well too.
I don't tell that, but like, what are we doing
right now? I'm just telling you the way it comes
off of your body when you're moving to some curls
during the break push up. I'm just trying to put
you guys up on a little game here. Like you
you want your chick to be into you a little
bit more? Roll it on, bro, The pheromones is what
you're saying. I'm just telling you, listen to your boy.

(27:27):
We need a I think we need got to have
all the secrets looks back there out getting rolled on today.
I can already tell what the looks on him and
leaves face. Somebody's gonna need something totally not into that. Lead.
Lead is more into like the grimy, funky type deal.
He wants to smell like grass and dirt and stuff. Well,
there's certain people that just don't like to put anything on.
They just like their smell. They just like to keep right. Yeah,

(27:51):
yeah it was him. Yeah it was the deodorant, none
of that stuff. I don't know about that. He's down
there in Austin, Texas, run around trying to bring the
long It's back. Which they are they back? Are they back?
Of course it's a new year, sweat and mat and light.
Didn't smell. But but that's he's created that Stetson approach,

(28:13):
Like if you smell Matthew McConaughey, you expected that and
you anticipated and that's that's kind of what McVeigh did
as well. You know, he's generated the the idea that
I could stay or leave, and if he leaves that
you were expecting it. Hold on a second, Roberto, did
you add something to the chamber on your fartboard? Is
that a new one? You have sounds? What at the end? Yeah,

(28:43):
that's more air to the other one had more to it.
There's more substance. Oh my god, just how yeah? How
many do you get? How many? That's it? Yeah? I
would have thought there's like six. Yeah, there's more of
the Yeah, but I always go to the two that
I have. Go to that first one again had a

(29:04):
little bottom to it. You ain't got it anymore? Where
is it? Yeah? That one? That one is more? Yeah,
that was picture this. That is a long day of work,
all right, and you had some You have a spicy

(29:25):
Italian sub at work, right, you get home, you crap, crap,
open a few cold ones, put on the game. And
now you've got some really nice spicy wings you're starting
in those. And then here's the bit you pass out
in the couch al right, game sover you wake up
around I don't know, even thirty, and that's when that

(29:47):
sound comes out. That one, to me says there's action
that is immediately following. Now, yeah, that other one, Now
go to the first one that's more offive, that's offensive
to the room. Yeah, that one going to get into
the air as people are going to be like, what's
going on. I'm not comfortable with the way it's smelling
in here. But that that that other one that there's

(30:08):
action that has to fall and and followed by a
fast walk to the restaurant because you're not quite sure
if you can keep what you have on any longer.
After that, Bro, that's like action you got, It's ready
to go down. It's two crows and a cup of Joe,
literally twelve year old to doing a sports star radio show.

(30:32):
All right, coming up next. Uh, there's a a story.
I mean, is this actually a big deal? We will
address it. It's supposed to be a major deal. We'll
have that for you here on fs are for all
the latest, So from around the world of sports. A
man who also has his own farboard, the great Eddie Garcia. Yeah,
I've just got one though, I mean, can we hear it? Okay,
now that one is even worse that one. That one

(30:56):
is probably have to throw away whatever it is that
was underneath that. That one's got to go. I mean,
we we need to ask Lee about this. He's the expert.
You will not reuse those. It's all about that SPD
dude silent. But he doesn't. He doesn't want any type

(31:18):
of anything. He got them Assassin warrior flagellations. You're brewing.
You're something's brow, isn't it. I can tell me that
the firelight other than we let off we let up
the fire alarm. The fire alarms are going off. I
mean the alarm is off, but the lights are still flickering.
And it's one of their that's done this well, the

(31:41):
alarms are going off. As far as the start of
the Major League Baseball season, yeah, you know what. Uh So,
the owners have said that if they don't agree on
a new collective bargaining agreem with the players by today,
that they're going to start canceling regular season games. There
is a report that the week of the season is
gonna be scrapped by Tuesday. Now there are some reports

(32:03):
saying that maybe with doubleheaders that if they could agree
to something soon that that could be avoided, but uh,
there are all the reports are that they are still
after seven straight days of negotiations, far apart on any
kind of a new new deal being reached. So it's
not looking like the start of the season for baseball
will be We'll be on time as far as some
NBA games. Note, we had the Jazz over the Suns

(32:23):
in Phoenix fourteen. Phoenix is still at league best forty
nine and twelve, but now one and two since injured
point guard Chris Paul went down for likely the rest
of the regular season. Seventy six or two and oh
with James Harden in the line up to beat the
Knicks nine, Harden had a triple double twenty nine points,
ten boards, sixteen assists. Joe Wan beat thirty seven points,
including twenty three points from the free throw line for Philadelphia.

(32:45):
Mavericks are down twenty one on the road, rally all
the way back for a one oh seven, one oh
one win over the Warriors. Luca done thirty four points,
eleven rebounds. Pelicans go to l A embarrass the Lakers.
Pistons on a buzzer beater, beat the Hornets one seven
twenty six College basketball four ranked teams in action. One
upset Maryland beating number twenty two Ohio State sixty. We

(33:05):
had number fourteen Houston meeting s m U s sixty one.
Fifte ranked Illinois one at Michigan nine, number twenty one.
You kind of winner at Georgetown six seventy seven. Coming

Good thing, the guys are here to bring you in

(35:14):
case you missed it, And for that we turned it
over to our executive producer Lee The last Berto, What
do you watching? Roberto might be wanted the weirdest movie
watching dudes of all time? Some guy getting bathed, I

(35:34):
mean weirdly, oddly bab oh man. Now you've never been
hungover before? Alright, fair enough, that's that's fair, all right,
all right? What do we got Fellas? Major League Baseball
in the players Union are not close to a new
labor agreement, but the two sides will meet again to
Monday in Florida. What's been agreed to so far universal

(35:57):
d H a draft lottery for the bottom six teams
each year in any rookie of the Year winner or
runner up will be credited with a full season of
service even if they didn't play the entire season. But
there's still there's still far apart though they are still
fully honest question, do you guys care? Okay? Because I

(36:18):
just do. Maybe maybe I'm numb to it, but it
just seems like baseball, Oh, there's always some sort of
an issue, Like when there was the COVID stuff, they
couldn't agree on what they wanted to do. There was
ninety four, which you know, piste off a lot of people,
the strike or the lockout, whichever one it was. But
it just feels like baseball has been down this road

(36:39):
so many times before that I'm like sort of numb
to it, like, okay, well, I mean we're gonna have
a season. It's just like figure this out. No, no
one's gonna spoil the golden goose to that that extent.
The reason why I don't care is because when you
ask will there will be a season, Well, when you
got a hundred at sixty two games, I think you
can miss a few will be okay like that. I

(37:02):
just I don't care for that reason. If this was
a season where you only play fifty. That's a little different,
Like you can't really afford to miss as many in
order to accurately figure out who are the best teams
to be playing off for a playoff in the World Series.
So I don't care for that reason, Like I don't
care if they missed thirty forty games, I really don't.
I feel like a hundred hundred plus games is still

(37:24):
plenty to see who is the best and who needs
to go play for the World Series. So for that reason,
I don't care. Otherwise I would just ask this, it's
unique because the players have all the power like every
other you know, maybe the NBA as well, but like
outside of the NBA and Major League Baseball, the players

(37:45):
have all the power, like it's the owners who are
frustrated and and it's it's so different to look at
it that way. So maybe that's why I don't care
as well either, because I'm just like, well, whenever the
players want to concede or want to come to agreement,
will eventually come to the table. Now, Brady, you have
you already started to purchase or Cleveland Guardians gear your
stuff like Jersey's hats, maybe a beanie for the you know,

(38:06):
Chili time in Florida, Like, what have we got there?
As far as guardians worst name for a professional sports?
Are you guys so bad? I command I was just
about the Guardians there. Yeah, I think commandos is better.
I think yeah, yeah, I think so man is commanders.
By the way, just if we're being like, yeah, I

(38:28):
think we've made the Commandos, which I think would be
better than commanding. It should have been the Cleveland Spiders. Yeah,
back in the day. What was the other option from
the Cleveland What were the other names that got shot
down in Cleveland? They should have stolen their Triple A team.
They should be the Cleveland like Bison or something like that.
But they said the story behind the Guardians is like
something about the bridge, right, like guardians. Gargoyles. Yeah, the gargoyles.

(38:51):
I kind of like that because I'm a gargoyle fan,
you know, I am, I am, I am, actually I am.
In fact, if I could be a gargoyle, I would
want to be one. Are gargoyles real or is it
like the chupacabra. I wish I could. I wish I
could be a guardian. That's there the same A guardian

(39:11):
and a gargoyle and the same. Didn't you just hear
what Brady just say. I think I think they're like
these gargoyles that are on the specific bridge that this
city is ghostbusters, Like there's like like figurines that come
to life. The way was awful. Well all the last
one that came out, he didn't like it. That was good.
I thought the last one that came out was good,

(39:32):
was good, was like the original. The one previous was awful.
But you know, we're not trying to offend people. We
totally derailed. Sorry, sorry, problem, you guys got forty seconds
lead you guys. There's a Mardy Gras float that's gone
viral depicting a fat Zion Williamson with a jersey that
says one ton. He's also got a foot long a

(39:53):
foot long sandwich in one hand cache and the other
in a cast onto the foot. So that's a Marty
Garras flow. That's fat shaming Zion. Yeah, I wonder why
once out of town. Can't imagine, I have no no
clue I would want out of town Tan Williamson. Milk
can expire real quickly, man. I feel bad for him
just saying it could go bed and a heartbeat hopefully
gets a food for It's just like, I don't know,

(40:15):
you're a class actor. ROBERTA was that on a Bert?
Robert Florence is that of the room. There is just
a house classy individual. His zion is the last really

(40:38):
interesting college basketball player correct as far as like you
would turn on a college basketball game because you wanted
to watch him, And then what are we to three
years later and it's like they're making floats fat shamming
him at Mardy Gras. That'll happen here. I mean it's
pretty simple. Yeah, and stop beating you know, the story
continues to grow. That's that's what How could you not

(41:07):
for me? There's still a lot of meat on that
bone right A. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports
