Wednesday morning. We appreciate you doing so. We'll take you
all the way up until nine am Eastern time, six
o'clock Pacific here on Fox Sports Radio. Obviously a wild
day in the NFL on the quarterback front yesterday was
Aaron Rodgers making his decision. Pat McAfee was the one
(01:25):
to uh to unveil the decision on social media. Rogers
did not actually make an appearance on the show, but
Pat McAfee dropped that one. And then it was the
Denver Broncos trading for Russell Wilson, giving up a ton
for Russell Wilson. But they have themselves a franchise quarterback
and so that whole thing is playing out, and we've
(01:46):
been talking a lot about that, um. And then look,
maybe the biggest story on the quarterback front on the
entire day yesterday was um Kyler Murray has posted his
pick cheers of the Arizona Cardinals backup on Instagram. So
everybody just yeah, I just uh, I mean, what a child?
(02:11):
What are we talking about here? Hey man? I try
to defend him. Now I'm now I'm starting to walk
back out of that me too. Now I get why
Bidwell was so critical, Like I like, oh my god,
Like if I if I was there, I trade him
right now. I trade him right now and say, you
know what, We'll take a bag of rolled golds and
some deflated footballs for for Kyler Murray based on the
(02:32):
social media behavior, pretty penny for him. I mean it's like,
what what what is he doing? Serious? Seriously, can somebody
defend him? Like? What what is he doing that he
thinks like this is gonna be him making a statement
and now all's good. I want to contract extensions and
let me put your pictures back up at least go
all the way through it. It It just to lead everything.
(02:53):
I don't understand. I can't defend him because I tried
to kind of look into the stand been made by
his agent and say, okay, kind of makes some sense, right.
You know, you you as sooner you've signed your quarterback
if you think he's your quarterback to a long term extension,
the less it's gonna be and the better you can
structure your cat moving forward and all that good stuff.
(03:17):
But then as you read into in some of the
comments that were made, I mean, whether it's his agents
saying it, which you know Burkhardt doesn't come up come
off like that as an agent. You know it had
to have been via you know, his signing off on anyway,
Like you have to own up to however your agent
represents you he's a mouthpiece for you. So that statement
in and of itself, you're going, all right, I know
(03:39):
what you're trying to say, but the way it's coming off,
you've almost like ostracized yourself with your teammates, like not
taking credit for when you lose, but taking credit for
when you win. And then there's this whole like, well, hey,
we've gotten so much better. It's just me, Like I
just it started to come off as a little bit
like exactly what the reports were after the season that
(04:01):
he was doing a lot of finger pulling at everyone
else and it wasn't him. And then even in this contract,
it was like, no, we want to restructure this deal
so you can help out build around me and pay
everyone else, but pay me first. Make sure you pay
me first. And now, looking back, when it comes off
as that, you're just going, look, I get it. He's
got leverage. You know, if baseball was playing right now,
(04:23):
maybe he'd exercised that that leverage with the Oakland Athletics,
who drafted him what number five overall or whatever. But
they're not. They're in the lockout, and so you don't
really have that card to play. And if you're going
to play that card. This is probably one of the
final times you have in your career, right, I mean,
once he gets older, it's not like we're looking at
him as being an outfielder anymore and and going and
(04:43):
playing baseball when he's in his thirties. I mean, at
least I don't. I don't foresee that happening. Wilson. Nobody's
talking about him playing baseball anymore. Remember he would he
wasn't even the close to the same player Kyler Murray.
Kyla Murray was a top ten pick that was out
Russell Wilson. I just I look at Kyler Murray and
(05:05):
it could be a I mean, it could be as
simple as I'm a guy that uses social media. I'm
from a social media era era, and and I just
I do things a lot of a lot of young
guys that use social media, you know exactly what's going
(05:25):
on in their lives. I mean, that's that it's like
a it's a public journal. You know, somebody's upset, you know,
if somebody's happy, you know, if they've they've met somebody.
You know. It's just it's amazing the phenomenon that that
social media has become. And if I were to take
a stab at saying you're saying, defend him. I'm not
(05:48):
gonna say this is defending him definitively. But what what
I will say is is, if you have a if
you have an idea of what life was like without
social media, dea this this is just it's it's kind
of comes across as unacceptable. It's condemnable in a lot
(06:08):
of ways. It's it's ill advised in a lot of ways.
If you're from the social media era, it's just what
it is. It's just communication. It's the way you're expressing yourself.
And and and so when I look at this, I
don't want to look at it with a disconnected lens.
(06:28):
I think that he's just he's showing his emotions on
his social media. He hasn't said anything that would, for
me make it damning towards him. He hasn't done anything
that would make it damning. But it does make it
a little bit more complex because you're you're dealing with
(06:49):
guys that may not be in that that that mindset,
that that frame of mind of what social media represents.
So to those who don't really put too much into it,
it's not a big deal. The fact that he like, Okay,
coach GM, get their contracts. I'm gonna put my pictures
back up. You know, these dudes is signing and I
(07:12):
would like to sign, but maybe I'll continue to play.
Maybe he's hearing the advice. There have been a lot
of guys on in media that have spoken directly to
Kyler Murray while talking about Kyler Murray on shows. Maybe
he's listening. Maybe this is his attempt to try to
make things better. There's a whole there's a merit of
(07:32):
things that it could be. But one thing I'll say
is the one one thing people have said that has
been pretty consistent is he shows immaturity and and and
this was a nail. This was a nail move. So
I would I would label it as an immature decision
on his behard. Look, it's not the biggest deal in
the world. I mean, it's harmless. He's you know, on
(07:54):
social media, and he took his pictures down and then
put him back up, and but it just it's at
least a little bit of a warning sign, right like, Hey,
this guy is a little you know, like like this
is where his head's at when it comes to this stuff.
When things don't go his way, he's gonna he's gonna
act out with little you know, a little childish things
like this on social media. It's just I can't imagine
(08:16):
in a football locker room. Obviously you guys would know
better than me. I can't imagine that players see this
stuff and go God really telling you Late ninety kids, man,
late ninety kids to present day kids are just different.
Due there are some old souls still in the NFL. Yes,
there are, there are, there are plenty of them. But
(08:38):
a lot of these new school dudes are different. And
when I say, like, bro, I've been coaching for it
was over five years now, and I've been I've been
mentoring forever. I've watched the evolution of how guys are.
I've watched it like we're in a day and age now.
(08:59):
Like I'll tell you a funny story. So I was
I was at a When I was at Polly, we
had we had real close group dudes Like Thursdays would
be uh the freshman or VARs JV playing whatever, and
we would eat and watch the game if they played
at home. And I remember the one day we were
eating and we were watching the game and I'm looking
(09:21):
at the like the guys were all sitting in the
end zone behind the end zone watching the game, And
as I'm scanning over them, I see R two and
you guys would know that they both played Major Division
one football. They're on their knees and they're like nose
the nose and they're hugging, and I'm looking at them
(09:42):
and I'm scanning over and I see it, and I
keep scanning and then I come back and I'm like,
w t F, Like what are y'all doing? Hey, what
are y'all doing? Like what is that? Like, well, you mean,
coach normal, just normal, Like could you imagine being in
the end zone on your knees, knows the nose, hugging
(10:05):
you're one of your best butts? And then like the
early nineties, like that would be weird. And I can
tell you all the things that you would be called
if you were doing that. They're just so like, dudes
these days are so different, Like and it wasn't like
it was like on no soft served type stuff, but
(10:27):
maybe it was soft. They weren't soft on the football field.
I'll tell you that they were definitely ballers. But they
just weird. And that's the only way you can explain
it because you don't. You don't understand the line of
thinking that these young dudes be having man like late nineties,
like like literally he was born in nine seven. It's
(10:48):
like right around that time the evolution of how dudes
are it just started to happen. They're hard to understand.
And that's what I would chalk this up to. If
you've been around dude, you've been around prospects and I was.
I was around Kyler Murray when he was still in
high school. I was still coaching under armor game when
he was there. And my fact, it might be this
(11:08):
hoodie that I have on today that was his year.
They are just different dudes the way they came. Like
like me and Brady are talking right now, right like
we do a show together. We could be cool. I
saw t O the other day. We're talking, we're doing
a show and they're interviewing me, and we're like, super cool.
When you retire, we we create a different bond. It's
like we talked to each other, we're nice, we're kind
(11:30):
to one another. But when we're playing, it's like, dude, work,
we could be cool. I say, what's up to you?
Good to see you. Data da dap you up, but
you don't really be on the like real cool type stuff.
All these dudes are cool with one another, so you're
not going especially not especially, not like before or maybe
(11:51):
after the game tap each other up. But like it's
you need a cooling off spatial awareness, man like, until
you're both gunne done. Like there's always that bitterness, there's
always that rise something there and and and I'm with
you because like even like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning
think about this, And we got a sneak peek because
of the flake Gate, right we started to see some
(12:13):
of the correspondence, but Tom and Peyton aren't even It's
not like Peyton sacking Tom or Tom was sacking Peyton
right like, but it was like they had this heated
rivalry that they probably both in there in a way
conjure up in their head or just because of the
legacies and all of that. But each of them, I
don't think liked each other. Like I'm pretty pretty certain
(12:36):
it's safe to say that they really didn't like each other.
They might be cool with each other now that they're retired,
but when they played, it wasn't like that. And and
that's how it always is like, there's those guys that
you either played against or competed against that you just
you weren't friends with, especially while you were doing it.
(12:57):
Now after the fact, you can be cool. There's still
a little something there, though. I think for the old
heads they different. They're different now. Everybody's best friends, everybody
follows each other on social and social media. Different. To
Brady's point on the deflateate stuff, it was the emails
that got released where Tom Brady was talking with somebody
else and uh, you know, just pointing out how many
(13:19):
more Super Bowls he had with Peyton Manning, like that
came out. Yet everything you see publicly was, hey, these
guys seem to be on good terms, But even back
and forth in private correspondence, he's you know, talking about
and how much more successful he was in Peyton Manning.
The rivalries are good, That's what sports are not nowadays.
It's just different. It's just so different. Okay, So do
(13:42):
you think though that this was caused a little bit
by the NBA because the NBA was the first league
that I can recall shifting and these aren't nineties babies,
right like Lebron is is my year. We'll both I
believe eight four if I someone there. But we're in
the same class in high school, That's what I'm saying that.
(14:03):
And when when you're talking about one of the greatest
of all time, like up with Jordan's, up with Kobe,
up with whoever else you want to throw into that conversation,
like he's the one they started creating these these you know,
whatever you wanna call it, these super teams. But he
did in Miami, and you could say that, hey, may
the Celtics did it before that with Paul Pierce and
(14:24):
Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen, But it was it was
to me the NBA that really started this because I
think younger generations saw that and thought it was so
cool how they all played together and all of it,
and that was neat. But then it created this like, oh,
it's okay to like go and win a championship with,
you know, with some of the other best guys in
(14:45):
the league. Like you don't want to be just you know,
by yourself on an island trying to win and do
it all yourself, Like that seems impossible, It seems too hard.
I'd rather team up with other guys where it's easier.
And go win. Like I feel like that was the
momentum behind this which really started what in the early
like two thousands and all that, and and spare me
the whole conversation about the bulls. Everyone wants to act like,
(15:08):
but what do you mean to look at the whole famers?
Do it with Scottie, Pippen and Michael They drafted Pippin
after they had drafted Michael, Like that whole thing was
assembled to come together. I'm talking about when players choose,
when they choose to force a trade or in free agency,
get out and go team up together, which is what
happened with Boston, which is what happened with Miami, which
(15:29):
is what happened with some of those examples of teams
that were able to win championships. Like to me, that
started this whole idea that it's okay, up to all
partner up with other guys and go in and we're
all friends. Yeah, like that that's where it started from me.
Now it evolved like it absolutely was guys like Lebron James,
(15:49):
even guys like Ocho Sinko, like the the influencers that
came into social media that made social media take off
the way that it did. The tone was set. But
even from that, the evolution of it, like these young
dudes and young chicks out here, it's just a total
evolution of what that start was. And I'm telling you
(16:12):
they weird, man, It's the only way you can explain it.
Like I'd be on the field, I'd be in the
weight room, they'd be doing stuff. You'd be looking at them.
You'd be like, bro, why are you so weird? Man?
You're weird. I'd say it every day. I find myself
saying it every day. I'm I'm teaching one of my
babies how to drive right now. Um, and he I didn't.
(16:35):
You know, he's not my natural born kid, but I'm
teaching him. You know, he's driving the school stuff like that, right,
And just the conversation that I gotta have, Like the
way the minds are shaped. They are way smart. It's weird.
They're not wiser than us older dudes. They're way more
They're way smarter, they're way more aware, almost like aliens.
(16:58):
They're weird. And and and Kyler Murray just might be.
You're seeing what the new iteration of young dudes, how
they are, how they react, and how they do things.
You can't explain it with sensible old school logic. Otherwise
you're like a fossil, You're like a dinosaur. These new
(17:22):
era dudes are just weird. They're different dudes. Shouts out
to y'all, love y'all and appreciate y'all, but y'all are weird. Man.
So it's uh, it's just bizarre. Just the whole passive aggressiveness.
It's just weird. It is. Uh. Two Pros and a

thanks man, no worries. Hey, I appreciate it a long long.
People don't understand how hard those long reeds are. Man,
here we go. You gotta be a real pro to
get through them joints the way you just did. Yeah,
shouts out to Vegas. How about that's out the Fox
(20:10):
Sports Radio. Uh, speaking of Vegas, you want to talk
a little gambling here, a little a little bit, and
that's what we do on this show. All right. So
you guys are degenerates, Well, not not so much, Brady,
But Brady is a degenerate conversationalists of of gambling while
you are just all the way amble. Yeah, that is correct. Yeah,
he definitely He's no Calvin Ridley, that's for sure. Did
(20:33):
you see the videos that everybody's been posting up where
he looks like you can roughboard touchdown and then all
of a sudden he tries to make a move to
make somebody miss Can I just say this in defense
of Calvin Ridley, I don't know that that showed me
anything like Tyreek Hill does that almost every time he
catches the ball to create separation. Um, do you know
(20:55):
who posted that video? By the way, I don't know.
I don't know. I think there were no OUTO my
and know what, you're right Avocado posted, Yeah, you're right.
Here's the problem. You got a little bit of flak
for that too. Yeah. It might have gotten taken down actually,
and and and should have because some points you got
(21:17):
to realize you can't just do any old thing, you know,
if you're gonna be reckless. Like the problem is people
think that they know what a fix looks like in gambling,
and they don't. It doesn't, it doesn't. He's not out
there trying to you know, take away yards because he's
got money on on the Atlanta Falcons or some other team.
Like the idea was a zero zero point in the game.
(21:39):
It's just so dumb about the time people. People just
people just throw the first half. Did you notice that
they were all in the first half. No one's looking
at the clocks that downs and distances. It's not blue
chips all right, where where a guy's fixing games and
throwing the ball away on purpose. And we've seen examples
of that in college basketball where there was some stuff
(22:00):
back in the day where a guy legitimately with shaving points.
It's a little bit harder to do in a scoreless
game on you know, second and eight or whatever it was, like,
unless he's live wagering the game. And if that's the case,
he really is a degenerate gambler. I mean, what are
we talking about here, Like, I just people throw this
crap out there and it doesn't make They don't know
(22:21):
what they're talking about. They have no clue what an
actual fix looks like. I thought about this though, all right,
you guys tell me if there's not something to this,
so you know, you can bet on professional wrestling, right,
A very clear, and you've done it. Because you've done it,
I am I am going to bet on WrestleMania. I'm
telling you that right now. It's coming up next month.
I'm gonna bet on WrestleMania. If you knew what the
(22:46):
result was going to be in your match, wouldn't you
make a phone? I knew there wasn't going to be
a TUPAC deal, and I knew that fifty cent was
going to be on the halftime show where they were
wagering that stuff, weren't there. Yeah, So like if we're
we're really talking about the fixes in and insider trading
(23:06):
and look a lot of this stuff, do you avoid that?
Because in my mind, I'm sitting there like, man, what
do I do with this information? They'll they'll put a
limit on it, so it's a profit. So like it's
like the National anthem, the length of the National Anthem.
Security guard could be timing it and letting people know,
or people could be timing outside the stadium. They'll put
a limit on how much you can wage your on it.
So like, I mean, that's one thing, but if you
(23:27):
if you were a wrestler on that roster and you
knew or you were a writer on that rocket. You're
the one who's going to win, and I know I'm
gonna win. Yeah, Like, wouldn't you like cousin? Yeah, like, hey,
just see you know, in case you happen to be
on your phone later, I'm hearing this might go down,
you know, I'm just just I might do a supplex
at at minute one oh seven. I don't know that
(23:50):
it's that in depth. Hey, at the two point two
minute and eight second market, I'm going to do an
elbow drop atomic elbow got smash my head in the
turn buckle, So see if you can get some action
on that. So I just wondered if that was ever
you know, contemplated by anybody. But I'm certain that somebody
getn't done this. But I'm not going to go on
(24:10):
social media and put together a video montage of you know,
all the you know, turnbuckle smashes to try and make
a claim that there's six going on. But again, you know,
chatter there, especially when you're speaking as a former player. Yeah,
but every former player doesn't really acknowledge it all like that.
But more that have done more than what that former players,
(24:36):
you know, we leave that one alone. Back away from
that all right, So we are going to get to uh,
there's a would ever come for me? There's a peak
into the future of the NFL. We're going to get
to that here. Uh yeah, who who's coming off to?
I mean we just we just aired him out a
(24:57):
little bit of you know, I wonder if he would
come for me on on social I get my followers
up though, because I would make it a show. I'll
tell you that. Yeah, that would be some fireworks. I've
eaten some popcorn. The problem this is like I don't
I try to not really get involved in all that
stuff because you here's the reality is, you can't win
(25:18):
on social media because you have everything to lose and
a lot of the people who are on there have
nothing to lose, and so it's you you can't win
like literally, like they can do say whatever they want.
It's all about your reaction and how you respond. So
that's the tough part. But when you're going up against
someone else who's got a blue check mark, you know
(25:40):
they're gonna try to, you know, spat back and forthward,
and you know how in person it would go entirely
different way. Yeah I was sunny, Yeah in both places.
So we know, just so we're clear on that. Wait
from any smoke ever, like a type, any type anything? Yeah,
(26:02):
you got it. The nicotine, Yeah, the street walk away
to join walked away from nicotine smoke, I will admit that.
But the scar smoke scar smoke up taking that smoke? Ye?
But what about that hot boxes being smoke? That van
down the street. I'm not going to deny that. What
about that? About that? I'm not going to tony about smoke?
(26:25):
Hook in the blowfish? Who in the blows? All right?
It is two pros and that that cup of Joe. Fox
Sports Radio LaVar Harrington, Brady Quinn Jonas knocks it here
on FS. Are you got problems? All right? Coming up?
You are so thrown You're like those new ages weirdos man,
I'm telling you you are a new age. Don't don't
(26:46):
say I'm not Kyler Murray not gonna erase my social
media and so you don't even social media outside of
Twitter doing the show? Please? All right? Yeah, we're about
two and a half minutes time. Jesus, that's all. That's
all your consumption habits are you know? Thank you, thank
(27:10):
you for rounding up by the way, all right, coming up,
two minutes from now, we're going to have another edition
of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly here on
Fox Sports Radio. All right, So the a f C
Odds are out the a f C champion next year,
we've got to this. According to Fox bet we've got
the Bills sitting at one at plus three seventy five. Yeah,
(27:34):
we've got the Kansas City. The Bills become such a
betting favorite, Like, I don't I don't get it, you
know what, pet I think people look at Buffalo like
an NBA team. You know, Milwaukee always like like it
was like you get one step closer. They was documented
during the Michael Jordan, that fake documentary The Last Dance,
when they talked about you got to get past the team,
(27:57):
and it was like the Pistons had to take it
one series and a time, and every year they got
a little closer and a little closer, and then we
saw Milwaukee who got a little bit closer, and then
they finally want a title. That doesn't happen in the NFL,
like a lot of times teams go to the postseason
and they disappear just because they were in close games
against Kansas City and they lost that game all of
(28:18):
a sudden, Now Buffalo is just gonna gonna miraculously be
back there again. And this is a foregone conclusion. I
just I don't understand how this works. I don't understand
why I agree with you. The Bills are, all of
a sudden the team to beat. I would still if
you line them up right now, I'll take Kansas City
over Buffalo right now. I'm sorry. I just I don't know, man.
(28:39):
It's it's maybe it's a division. I mean, I maybe
that's that's what they're looking at Miami. Uh, you know,
obviously the Jets and then New England. You know that
could be up in the air. Uh. And does New
England have an offensive coordinator or a defensive coordinator as
of right now? They don't. They don't like to name
them sometimes, Like I remember when Charlie Weiss left to
(29:02):
come to Notre Dame. I don't think they named Josh
McDaniels the play caller, but he was the one doing it.
It's like, you gotta earn it, you gotta earn that title,
because remember what was it Brian Flores calling the defense
to one year, but he didn't have the d C title.
He was the de Coordinator of the year. They played
the Rams in the Super Bowl, right, But did he
did he actually have the title? There's one year where
(29:22):
he took over. I don't know that he had the title.
I don't think so. But he was calling the defense. Yeah,
which is why I think he got the job was
after that Super Bowl and what they did Rams of myous.
It's kind of hot. Like I'm trying to scout a
team and I don't know who the hell is calling
the place. It's kind of kind of mysterious. Yeah, I
think I think I like that. I think I kind
(29:42):
of like it. Yeah, that is hot. Maybe he's just
trying to deflate people's egos so they just do their jobs, yeah,
or that there is that. How do we feel about
the How do we feel about the the The Denver
Broncos plus seven hundred to come out of the a
f C their favorite, Denver, followed by Cincinnati and Baltimore.
(30:03):
How are we feeling about that? Denver plus seven Peyton
they didn't get their pains first year right when he
came in two thousand twelves to Denver, but they did
his second year, So I don't know. I mean, I
would I would lay a little bit on that. But
I also think you might want to give it a
year for them to kind of, you know, develop the
(30:24):
chemistry with one another. See I think that I kind
of like Denver to win the a f C West
right now, sitting at plus two oys plus two twenty
five plus two fifties something like that. I think I
think I would put money on Denver to well Casey
to win the a f C West. Give me a
vampire LaVar talk about something like, Okay, I'm gonna talk
(30:44):
about you looking for the information. There there even money.
Casey is even money at plus a hundred, so a
hundred to win, a hundred for Casey, followed by the
charge of Chargers. I like the Chargers this year. I
think this is a year they take a definitive step forward.
They got a lot of talent. I like the Chargers. Now,
(31:04):
are they still going to be going for it on
every fourth down? Why does everyone hate on Brandon's just
busting balls? I just think it's funny. It's Justin Herbert.
If I if I had Patrick Mahomes or Justin Herbert,
and I'd be yeah, I'll do it. I'll do the
same thing. I'm gonna give them every opportunity to go
convert on a fourth down. God that divisions and man,
when the Raiders trade, When the Raiders trade Derek Carr
(31:27):
for Tom Brady, my god, that's the greatest quarterback division
in the history of the NFL's actually that now the
Raiders are giving up five first round picks. Well, actually,
now that you think about it, it's not like their
first round picks have really worked out well for them
in recent years. I mean Cleveland Ferrell didn't work out,
Rugs not there. Remember the clear mac one that that
(31:48):
they traded him away. I mean that's yeah, I mean
maybe they should think about trade await at first, there's
one market where you would think that Deshaun Watson could
actually get in there and it not be tremendously intrusive
to the people that are around there because they're interested
in a lot of other things. It would be Vegas. Yeah,
(32:09):
that would Vegas. It's a very like that's a real
point that that's that's maybe the last place he should go.
There's not there's Yeah, there's a lot of things that
like listen, they call it since city. I mean, that's
that's what's known for I just think that if you're
Deshaun Watson, that's one of those places where you can
(32:30):
navigate and actually probably be able to rebuild your Oh
you can shoot, I mean you could shoot a Newsy there.
I'll just say that there are probably a lot more
people in Vegas than any other market that would be like,
(32:51):
you know, I'm not going to judge Deshaun Watson for
its translation. It's a zero judgment. I may have been
I have on some things that I shouldn't have done.
All eyes are gonna be on DeShawn Watson maybe doing
something right now that if you got to Las Vegas,
if you got to Las Vegas, you can order a
bloody mary uh, a side of potato skins and get
(33:14):
exactly what Deshaun Watson was shopping for the past couple
of years. Like it's I get it that it's normal
and that's standard operating procedures. But there's gonna be all
eyes in DeShawn Watson anywhere he goes is going to
be a problem, right stick. I just don't think it's
gonna be a It would not be as big a
problem in Vegas. And here's the thing, assuming that on Friday,
(33:36):
these things get dismissed in a way. That's that's an
ability to claim public justification that I did not do
this Like I I can. I can move on with
my life because from there on out, if it's if
it's a if civil suits, you know, go after that.
If there are um, you know, agreements, you know the
(33:57):
whole what is that called? You know the settling, settling
out of court deal. Um, if those things happen, he
can still yeah, right, well it's four or forty four
my brain locked up. Here's the thing. There's plausible deniability
and and him moving forward. If Friday is this isn't
(34:19):
going to trial like this is done. So you guys
handle what you want to handle over here. But as
far as legally speaking in terms of like criminal wise,
this is out the door. Deshaun Watson is able to
move on. I think Vegas is something to think about.
Now you got Deshaun Uh who else my brain is?
Herbert Russell Wills? Are you looking at my phone? My homes? Now?
(34:45):
You really got a serious quarterback deals in the video
from your boat. I totally were. I was on like
training wheels trying to get through that. Let it's two

there's some bad, and then there's some downright ugly things.
(36:57):
It's type four good bad, and I lead a lot.
What do we got? Who's got one? This week? As
we do every week, we start with the good. That's
for Brady this week? How about this one? So Mike Williams,
the wide receiver for the l A Chargers, you'll call.
He had a fractured net come out of Clemson. There's
a lot of speculation as to whether or not he'd
(37:18):
be able to play, how long he'd be able to
play all of that. Just inked up an extension there
with a charge I believe sixty million in total value,
forty million guaranteed upfront. Good for Mike Williams, he's he's
making some money. As we just heard in our little
intro song, LaVar, let us know what was bad. I
would just keeping consistent. We had this going on earlier
(37:39):
in the show. We talked about weird ass young boys
these days. I'm going with Kyler Murray. It was bad, Kyler,
it was it wasn't in good days. You should have
done something different. I know it's an olive branch you're
trying to offer. I know you're trying to make it
seem like it's a Kumbaya moment. And I love you guys,
and let's fix it and let's work it out. Just
next time that you don't feel good about it, keep
(38:01):
your pictures up. Then you won't have to put him
up again. Right, if you stay ready, you don't have
to get ready. That was bad, Tyler, But I still
Jonas what was ugly. The ugly was some of the coverage,
and he takes on the Calvin Ridley situation. Some of
these nimrods who cover sports for a living, who are
out actually defending Calvin Ridley saying, well, they have a
(38:21):
partnership with gambling companies. Why shouldn't these guys be allowed
to play that Nerds, losers, geeks, pip squeaks, guys that
have no idea what they're talking about. Stop sticking up
for a guy. He made a mistake. He made a
dumb decision. I don't care that it was fift dollars.
You can't bet on NFL games. He's an employee of
(38:43):
the league. It doesn't matter if he was away from
the team. It doesn't matter that you bet for the team.
Pete Rose is one of the greatest baseball players of
all time, still not in the Hall of Fame because
he bet on games. You can't do it. Stop defending
the guy. He made a terrible mistake. Awful awful takes
out there that change. Come on, man, I don't care
(39:07):
if it was one dollar. Don't you bet on them
games if you And by the way, Petros Papadakas is
going to join us next hour. Something tells me that's
gonna be a doozy. We gotta get his thoughts. Active
warning for Tornado, so it must be a day, yeah, Calamari,
