Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two Pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox. Coming up on this
Wednesday edition, the Deshaun Watson deposition not exactly a smooth
portrayal of the new Browns quarterback. We're also going to
talk about potential punishments from the NFL. The Lakers go
from bad to worse last night. We've got the overtime
(00:20):
rule change in the NFL. Did they get it right?
The Ravens owner is not happy with the Cleveland Browns.
It's the good, the bad, and the ugly and the
great Petros Papadaca stops by. All of it is yours
coming up on a Wednesday, Two pros and a cup
of Joe, Fox Sports Radio. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Yeah,
(00:44):
two pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox. Are you here on
fs are? You can hang out with us as always
on the I Heart Radio app. You can find us
on hundreds of Fox Sports Radio affiliates and wherever you
are making us a part of your when this day morning,
We appreciate you doing so. We're gonna be taking you
all the way up until nine am Eastern time, six
(01:05):
o'clock Pacific right here on Fox Sports Radio, normally known
as are You, formally known as hump Day here on
the show. But we don't hold onto things for too long,
so we moved past that and now we get back
to a regular sports talk radio show here. Uh, just
you know, playing a little grab bass here on fs ARE.
How about it, b Q careful, Uh, gotta be careful
(01:27):
with hump Day with some of the topics in the show.
You know, was that one of those moments where I
didn't think about what I was gonna say and uh
and what was coming up and kind of blew it
there or yeah, well now together Now there was no
I know, no pre planning there, all right, So let's
(01:51):
go ahead and open up envelope number one. This is
segment one of the show here and see what topic
we want to get into here on Fox Sports Radio. Oh,
Deshaun Watson's deposition. Oh my god, how about it? Deshaun Watson,
the brand new face of the Cleveland Browns. Uh, the
former quarterback of the Houston Texans. Uh. You were wondering
(02:12):
whether or not we were gonna see any of this
stuff play out. Uh, Tony Buzzby, who's these the lawyers
for the twenty two um women who are filing these
now criminal, now cibilica suits against Deshaun Watson. Uh. The
deposition video where he was being asked about the accusations
against him. It was released to Fox eight in Houston,
(02:34):
and UM, you know, doesn't really paint Deshaun Watson in
the greatest light. Not that it was planned too, since
it came from that side. But let's go ahead and
take a little bit of a listen to this. UM
here is uh, here is a snippet of it. This
was a back and forth between the person interviewing Deshaun Watson. Uh.
This was about asking him about the therapist in question
(02:54):
at the time, whether or not he found her attractive,
and then the conversation then turned to ether or not
the Houston Texans or his trainer knew about the interactions
that Deshaun Watson was having here. So let's take it away,
did you find her attractive? That wasn't my intention. I
didn't ask you what your intentions were. I can answer
that I have a girlfriend, so I wasn't my attention. Say, okay,
(03:17):
so you can't. You can't answer that because you have
a girlfriend, because that's not what I was looking for.
What did you want from her? Just a massage? Was
she a massage therapist licensed? I'm not sure, sir trained,
I'm not sure, sir schooled. I'm not sure, sir. Did
you tell the Texans you were doing that? No, sir,
did you tell your trainer you were doing that? Pretty
(03:38):
risky to go to someplace you've never been before, to
have somebody you didn't really know, you didn't know anything
about their their skill level to give you a massage. So, uh,
there's there's a little bit from deshauns a lot. There's
there's a lot there. Hey, Brady, have some respect, all right.
He's got a girlfriend, all right? Man? Downtown they just passed.
(03:58):
It was almost was the girlfriend of the room or
did he know this was gonna become public? So it's like,
I don't want to upset her with with what I
was doing the entire time. I mean, is she hanging
on through all this? I mean I'm just saying I
probably with that contract, she maybe we can be okay,
we got to get him on the other side. Oh,
(04:23):
I mean, come on, man, don't put anything past anybody. Um,
all right, so here's the one thing I would say.
She's a form of massas therapist. Maybe that's how it happened.
Maybe maybe he does want to make her jealous. Maybe
that was the one time he found the massage therapist
that licensed or unlicensed to be attractive. Now, well, I
(04:47):
was just say, can I address that? Yeah, Um, I never.
I don't think I ever had anyone who worked on
me that I wasn't well aware of. Or I guess
I should say that the team hadn't qualified in some way,
or all the players on the team hadn't qualified in
some way. Um, that wasn't licensed, that hadn't been schooled,
(05:11):
that didn't have their certifications. I mean, that's what stood
out to me is you're an elite athlete, you were
the point zero one percent of the world, and you're
you're basically hitting up Joe Schmo to come work on you.
Which is I mean, besides the kind of intimate thing.
(05:31):
I mean, especially when you're just Shawn Watson. You bring
your own house. Imagine imagine taking your car to a
mechanic who's not trained. It doesn't make sense. Well, I
don't know if he's trained or not, but he's a mechanic.
I'm pretty sure. Okay, all right, well we'll just go
ahead and get under the hood and do what you
gotta do there. Very well, that might be more of
(05:53):
like car wash, like are you a licensed trained car wash?
Very good, because I mean if you've got to be
the mechanic, that's a little bit different. I mean I
don't I don't know that. I don't know, is it. Yeah,
as are the massage therapist tuning up your body to
make sure you can perform something. I mean, let's be
(06:14):
clear here, there are different levels of massaging. Like I
think we all know that, Like there are regular massages
or somebody people put oil and lotions and stuff on
you and they just rub you. Then there's like different categories.
Do you understand there's still certifications, licenses and scoring. Yes, yes,
(06:34):
there there are, but the ones you might be talking
about are are not legal. Well, I mean sometimes it's
not illegal to give a massage and not be certified
to do it, right, I'm just being honest, Like I
know where where I'm just saying from from one perspective.
So I could try to play both sides of this.
You could get a massage from somebody that isn't certified. Sure,
(06:58):
if you want to be intimate. How there's what Sure.
The hard thing is, I don't think you can advertise
that you are a licensed or certified massage troprists if
you're not. I don't think and I don't think that
that's what he was going for. But but what I'm
saying is that and that's what the attorney was trying
to point out there. But again, he might have not
(07:20):
have been doing it for the reasons that we're saying.
He might have not have wanted a deep muscle tissue
massage where you gotta know how to manipulate the muscles
and stuff like that and get muscled deep down and
and and and move things around. Open up a window
in here place. I'm just saying, you know, he hot,
he just wants He just wanted something. He just wanted
(07:43):
some more. Well, he wanted his muscle manipulated. How do
you have massage to love muscle? Here's the thing. Here's
the thing. When the lawyer asked, are you or were
you a acted to them? Were you attracted? He said
that was not my intention. Yeah, Like, like, help me
(08:08):
understand if that's your response. You're that's already an admission.
He like, that wasn't my intention? Like, what do you
mean that wasn't your intention? Here's the other I asked you,
did you think they were good looking? Were they attractive?
You could say yes or no to it to that's
a simple like. And here's the thing, right if he
said there attractive, that's not incriminating. It's not incriminating. So
(08:33):
you're incriminating yourself by thinking that you're gonna say something
that's incriminating. She's attractive, bitch. You see this lady's face.
See why are you asking me acted you saw it?
Maybe it's a blindfold to me. Maybe maybe he's got
a ball in his mouth. I don't know. Don't you
(08:54):
can't you can't dump that. I can't dump that. Why not?
Why not bring out the gap I've just said, here's
Jonas uses that phrase all the time. That is not double.
So here's the ball washing isn't dumpable. That's definitely you say, Jonas, well,
(09:20):
I mean that's you know, that's my private life. I
don't think we need to that's my deposition. But here's
here's the other part of that. The whole I have
a girlfriend. Thing, didn't his own lawyer, Rusty Harden, admit
that stuff did happen but it was consensual. So then
which obviously the allegations are that it wasn't. Yeah, So
(09:41):
then if if his own side admitted that something did
happen but it was consensual, then do you not have
a girlfriend on those days? And again, I'm not sitting
here trying to be petty about who's got a girlfriend.
It's not my business. And full disclosure, I've been in relationships.
I've cheated in relationships. I admit it. I will acknowledge
it on the air. But the idea that he's going
to go that round here he's yeah, and he like that, Yeah,
(10:06):
thank you. Yeah, it's a real man right here. That's
a real man right here. Uh yeah. The idea, the
the idea that that he's gonna go ahead and go
that route here and it's gonna get him out. I'm
just saying, like, I don't want I don't want to
come off as like, well, you know you have a girlfriend,
you can't do this. I don't want to sit on
a high horse when this guy is trying to go
to lunch, peal to work kind of guy hard hat.
(10:31):
But then the other part of this, it's it's very bizarre,
is you know when you're bringing your own towel to
the to the massage um and uh and the he
was asked about that as well too. Uh And this
is how that exchange happened during the deposition with the
Shawn Watson. You don't think that's a little bit strange?
And maybe we'resking many chaining. So I mean, I'm seriously Sean,
(10:52):
you don't think that's just a little bit weird. I'm serious,
I'm not I'm not criticizing you. I'm just trying to
figure I think that's a little that weird. I mean,
who doesn't bring their own bottle of catchup to a restaurant?
I mean, I understand what the problem is. Some people
bring their own silverware to the to the restaurant because
they believe that the silverware is not clean. Those people
(11:18):
are weird though, But and and and and listen, I've
seen it play out one yeah, on on HBO boxing
the boxing deal with uh. And it's just so we
don't get in trouble, or I don't get in trouble.
It was definitely Floyd Maywether that used to bring or
brings his own silverware to to the restaurant that he's, uh,
he's eating it. But then it just made me start thinking,
(11:41):
then don't you have to bring your own cup and glass?
And now don't you have to bring your own plate? Now?
Not so to me. If you've brought your own your
own tile, towel, if you've brought your own stuff to
somewhere where that's what they're supposed to provide to you,
then you're already admitting that something just doesn't sit well
(12:07):
with you. You're you don't trust it all the way.
You want to want to make sure you have all
the evidence with you when you leave. Kind of stuff.
I mean, I used to I used to carry a
blank you when I was a kid. I used to
take the serious when I was when I think, I
think I stopped and I was like four, you know,
four years old or something like that, till they're like
ten or eleven, you know. Yeah, Look, I used to
take everywhere with me. I love that thing. I love
(12:28):
my BLANKI maybe it's like it's blankie. Maybe maybe he
still has one of those. I don't know, And there's
clearly there's a lot going on mentally with the Sean
and how he used things. I'm just saying, maybe you
know that towel is like a special towel. Maybe it's uh,
you know, like a quarterback towel. You know we wear those.
Those are special man help keep our hands dry, and
(12:49):
you know they're kind of there for style too. But
at the same time, it's kind of like your battle towel.
You know, is that after a while you can your
battle towel? Yeah, you know, I mean, I'm just saying
maybe maybe it's like it's blank of his quarterback towel
slash blanket saying tow the trainer threw in when when
Ivan Drago was about to hit Apollo Creed that one
(13:11):
had a little bit of flexibility to it. Oh, absolutely
not cutting vegetables of that. So you know he would
probably a battle axe. If you've played football, you've seen
somebody who's nice socks that can stand up on our jockstraps.
You know, certain things that can stand up on their
own after a while, especially if you played high school football.
(13:34):
Can we just call what it is he's lying? Okay,
like and I'll say you don't want to say it,
I'll say it. Shawn Watson's full of crap. But can
we take it a step further here? They're all lying, Okay,
they are all lying, Like, let's be clear here, these
were bump sessions. You slid into the d M, Like,
I'm gonna just shoot it real for you. You slid
(13:57):
into the d M. His gang, his icebreaker is give
me a massage code word for let's come smash, because
I got a girl friend, you have your life. I
don't want you, but I want you. Come meet me
here thirty minutes away, and we're gonna go do this
(14:17):
and then we're gonna be done. That's his way of smashing.
That's it, Like, that's it, that's it. That's it, Like,
do we want to get to the bottom of it.
Here's the bottom of it. He wanted to smash. They
wanted to smash. They showed up. The problem is he
showed up. If there's an exchange of payment, LaVar, they're
(14:40):
they're both guilty, right, so they should both be guilty.
But the interesting thing about this is to pay him
pay them. That's not what the allegations. They're trying to
prove that it wasn't consensual. And I know what they're
trying to prove that, and that's where that's where it
becomes interesting to see if this ever, you know, go
(15:00):
was anywhere. We didn't have the clip because he pleads
the fifth and I can't remember my question, Oh you
want to hear that? We we do have that. Here
was that exchange from Deshaun Watson at the deposition. So
what I'm trying to figure out, Mr Watson, is why
you would post something on Instagram suggesting that you were
in New York City when you were instead in Houston
(15:24):
getting a massage. On the advice of my lawyer, I
asserted my rights under the Fifth Amendment. Yeah, if I
rehearsed that, I wouldn't be able to say that. If
I had rehearsed that, I would have messed that up
in real time. Well, he's a trust me when they
prepare you for a deposition, not that I've been. I
used to um intern for a law firm back when
(15:46):
I was in college, and I remember that was the
most fascinating thing. And I remember watching um the lawyer
that I was interning for prepare clients and and go
over in time and time and time again. It's a
very intricate a process and trust me, you know, and
you are coached how to say that exact response on
(16:07):
anything that could be incriminating in any such way. And
it's it's look, the entire it's the whole legal system
to me is all fascinating. But what I what I've
always gleamed from that was that's where you usually find smoke.
But in the legal system, it's hard to prove that
there's a fire right in criminal cases. Now in civil
(16:29):
it becomes different, and I think in this case, I'm
not even sure the civil system will be able to
punish him in any way. I think it's gonna end
up being having to be the NFL and whether or
not they ultimately take what is becoming public and continue
to investigate because all all these uh, all the women
who have alleged this have been coached and told not
(16:50):
to talk to the NFL. Yet they have not talked
to the NFL yet. Once the civil portion of this
is over, whether it's a settlement or not, if they
were able to talk to the NFL, if there's a
settlement note nondisclosure agreement, they will you know, probably speak
their piece and whatever they're gonna say, and then it's
gonna be after Roger Gerdale or the NFL Front office
(17:12):
and how they're gonna handle this. It's two Pros and
a Cup of Joe here on Fox Guilty. You want

That'll be coming up about twenty minutes from now. In
another edition of incase you missed it, we are going
to hear from you know, potential uh bad news and
a peek into the future in the NFL as somebody
could be in trouble here in just one moment, do
you want to let you know? We are brought to

Blade Razor brings noticeably smooth shaves with six stainless steel
blades for swift hair removal and a lubricating strip that
(19:00):
keeps things smooth. Dollar Shave Club raisers are sold at
Dollar Shave Club dot com. Or in stores. Um, all right,
so we mentioned the you know, what's the NFL's plan
as far as with the old Deshaun Watson stuff. Now
the uh, snippets from the deposition have come out. Uh,
you know, people are asking whether or not he's gonna
miss any time. Roger Goodell was at the league meetings yesterday, UH,
(19:23):
answering questions about a bunch of stuff, everything from dance
Dan Snyder to Deshaun Watson, all the good stuff, the
positive stuff in the NFL these days. And he was
asked about after talking about the timeline, saying there is
no timeline for Deshaun Watson and whether or not they
make a decision on his status for this upcoming season. Uh.
He was asked whether or not they would be talking
(19:45):
to Watson or his accusers and what happens next. That's
up to the investigators. They will make the determination of
when to do that and who to do that with.
We will seek to speak to everybody who can give
us a perspective and try to get to the bottom
of and in the facts, We've been very clear with
every club the personal conduct policy is something that's very
important to us, and so the personal conduct policy does
(20:08):
not need a criminal violation to be a violation the
personal conduct policy, so they recognize that that's something that
we're going to pursue. So there's that um in essence,
he's not missing any games, right, I mean, that's that's
where we fall on this, because the more this has
talked about, the more I feel like to Brady's point,
uh in comparison to Bob Kraft and everything else, to
(20:29):
go along with it. Unless de Shan is Adam and
he's got to prove his innocence, I just don't see
how he misses games this season. I don't think it's happening.
I mean, I think if he settles, there's no chance,
which you've got to think at some point even I
mean again, I'm not trying to play like an ascertainty here.
I just you have two hundred thirty million dollars of
(20:53):
guaranteed money sitting out there for you. The only thing
that could disrupt that is if some thing fell under
the player conduct policy that the NFL found out about
and suspended him and could avoid that. Now, I again,
I haven't seen the contract details to see if they
had carved out any claused and changed it in regards
(21:15):
to this specific situation where they would, you know, deem
him still able to earn that money or to have
that money be guaranteed because the Browns signed on knowing
what he was going through at this time. I don't
know that, but I would think, just settle whatever it is,
(21:35):
settle and then move on because whatever amount of money
it's gonna end up being. And and maybe again, maybe
Tony Buzzby isn't gonna let these girls do that, or
they I should say, let them, they have the choice to.
Maybe he's you're trying to, yeah, strongly urged them not
to because he knows what's on the other side. It
just it doesn't make sense to me to keep carrying
(21:56):
on with this because every step of the way, from
the press conference now to the depositions that are starting
to become public, it's gonna look bad for him. And
I mean, there's already other owners who are looking at
this side eye, and we'll get into that. But I
I have a hard time believing there's a zero percent
chance he will only because at some point there's gonna
(22:20):
be some damning, incriminating information that comes out and it
may not be enough to prove him guilty in the
court of law, but it may it may be enough
to get him suspended and potentially lose out on some
of that guaranteed money has got within his contract. I
just fund it to be complex. It's a complex, complex
(22:40):
scenario because basically, what what Deshaun Watson is doing is
he's saying no matter how uncomfortable the conversation, maybe if
if it's if it's something that he's not going to answer,
he's going to exercise his Fifth Amendment right one to three.
He's not gonna answer anything that's going to take him
(23:03):
down a road that would put him in position to
not stand on the side that he thinks he's on,
which is he doesn't think he's done anything wrong. And
and again there's a strong possibility, like we're focused on
what Deshaun Watson is saying, I think as as you
(23:24):
focus in on what he's saying in these depositions, I
think it ultimately again I was, you know, saying it
in a joking manner, but in all serious of nature.
If if you guys came together, and I don't know
what the conversations were, but if those conversations lad to
you guys meeting the way that you did. That's two
(23:47):
people meeting and whatever happened, it happened. You're talking about
me and Brady when those people discuss what they discussed
in the inbox. I must assuming that there were more
than one conversation that took place leading up to it.
Probably was a phone call or there was text messaging.
(24:09):
I you know, I'm I'm assuming that's what would have
taken place. So in all of those interactions, if you
guys end up in the same place at the same time,
doing the same things, at some point there has to
be a conversation of what was the intent of the
people that were showing up with Deshaun Watson. See it's
(24:32):
easy to say, Okay, DeShawn Desaun, Deshaun, Deshaun is wrong, DeShawn, this,
Deshaun is lying, Desaun, DeShawn Desaun. But but we don't
put a name, we don't put a face on these
other people. And everybody's like, oh, look at the numbers,
Look at dudes. Deal with girls, girls deal with dudes.
If we're looking at it in those terms, see, it's
(24:54):
it's like we're trying to keep it in in a
realm where we know that realm isn't isn't what it is.
We know that something was taking place between these two people.
Now the whole discussion point of whether it was mutual
or not, I understand that that's on the table, and
and and but for Roger Goodell in the NFL to
look at this, this is gonna be hard for them
(25:16):
to look at whatever it is. That said as saying
that you have to definitively, you know, put this guy
like you gotta suspend him, you gotta you gotta reprimand him,
you gotta punish them for what it is. I think
that's going to be difficult for them to do that. Also,
a five years ago, I think he gets suspended. I
(25:36):
think he's put on the accept list forget about that already. Yeah.
And I don't even think they would wait around for it,
because they would be try and be as proactive as politics.
That would have happened long before now. That would have
happened long before now, That would happen last year, not
not where we are. Remember the Dalvin Cook domestic violence
stuff that was nothing, that happened nothing, And we were
(25:57):
asking the question like wow, he's playing like uh, like
these are bad, Like some of the photos that were
out last year, Like we were watching and think, okay,
like they're just gonna let him play like that, because
I think we just assumed. I mean, look, Ezekiel Elliott
domestic violence there there was no real I don't think,
I don't know that anything came of that, but he
still got pop. It was at six games for that.
Like you go back in time, if this were back
(26:21):
in the day, five six years ago, he's already either
getting suspended or put on the exempt list or why.
But because they wanted to. They wanted to be proactive
and show that they caressed as to try and be
a make good to the way they handled the Ray
Rice suspension, which is only two games when they saw
the video before the video was released, they had access
to the video, and people asked the question, you're gonna
(26:42):
suspend him two games after what you saw on that video,
And they tried to and try to make good with everybody,
and then they went over the top and overcorrected it
with other suspensions afterwards. There you go. So, so the
justification was to clean up how they handled things, not
not what what was really taking place. You saw Ray
Rice assault that woman. There's no gray area there there's
(27:06):
there's no there's no room for any type of interpretation.
And that came out after, right, they had already made
their decision and their judgment, and that came out after
and they got that horribly wrong. So if you're using
that as the catalyst of how you're moving into the future,
that's not fair to anybody else that that is on.
(27:27):
What if they are on the other side of it,
Like what if what if in some case there is
a a young a young man, a man that is
on the other side of it where they're not guilty
of what it is they're being accused of. Well, hold on,
Ray Rice. Wasn't Boston anyway, No, No, well it was
because they issued out the if I recall it before
(27:51):
they saw the video, correct, and then they started backpedaling
or trying to fix it after they saw the video.
There was the thought that they had seen maybe seen
the video, you oh, but they didn't think it was
gonna become public, and then once it became public that
it looked like it wasn't enough. Now, the difficulty and
the complexity of that scenario was, you know, it was
(28:12):
his I think now wife. Back then I think it
was his girlfriend. Now wife, and she never pressed charges.
So from a legal standpoint, nothing really occurred or took place.
But from a societal standpoint, we all knew what he
did was wrong, and that's where I think you can
draw a comparison not to the action, but to what
(28:34):
we're talking about here. So from a legal perspective, Deshaun
Watson hasn't been convicted criminally, there hasn't even been enough
evidence to take it to trial criminally, and potentially civil
as well. We don't know how this is gonna shake out.
So there's the instance where you saw a player who
got suspended probably still wasn't enough, but never ended up
(28:56):
playing again, so it didn't matter. But now you've got
another player as twenty two different allegations, and I think
we can all agree what he did was wrong. Now
we don't know to what extent because we don't have
a video, We don't have all this mounted up like
evidence where people people can view it and they can
choose to feel about it however they want. But I
(29:16):
think we all can admit like there was some some
stuff that was going on that was dirty here, that
was wrong, no matter how you want to view it.
So that's the complexity to me that the NFL is
gonna have to deal with and decide how they want
to handle it. And as I've said before, if I'm
Deshaun Watson or his team, I'm saying to the NFL,
(29:37):
you had an owner that got off scott free for
doing something similar, So how are you going to suspend
me just because there's more allegations? Like with the owner
we had video evidence well, and that was a that
was a location that that to me the largest, the
(29:59):
largest indictment and that scenario is that was a location.
That was what that place was for where that took place.
That was a place or cones of Asia sounds like
a nursery to me, a garden. It certainly was a nursery.
You know what happens, you know what has to happen,
all right to have a nursery. I wasn't one of them,
(30:25):
by the way. Wasn't there a golfer who was also
involved that was named in that in the ches? Was
that the place that they ended up having to throw
out some of it because the cops were going in
and they were enjoying some of it too, that they
were they were like, oh well, it's kind of tough
to convict when like they were there that far, you know,
(30:47):
they probably want to. I can't remember if it was
that specific location or another one, but there was there
was a lot to it where like the people who
were investigating, the police behind it, they were partaking and
it was like, you know, we needed to confirm this
was happening. We didn't know you to actually like finish
the job. By the way. You know, it's so funny
about the coverage on that whole thing when people are like,
(31:08):
look at the timeline. It was right before the a
f C Championship game. What is he on special teams?
Of course? Like what does that matter? Who cares? When
it was like he when he he was nervous, all right,
he had to go and get rubbed out a little.
The information that you guys have read on the the
defendants putting uh not the defendants the is it the
(31:30):
defendant accusers? Accusers? Okay? Were those from the lawyers or
was that like under oath? Like what were those the
details on the ad that were being read the you know,
the testifying of of what what they felt, the deposition
of the ladies know there their side of the story.
(31:50):
You can find it I saw on Redditt told me,
was that who was that from? Who did those interviews?
What's the source of those interviews? I think that was
them talk into the Was it the Houston p D.
I think I think it was them talking to the
to the police department and giving their account as to
what happened. Just tell you the fact of the matter,
(32:11):
that he's willing to do these depositions and wants to
prove his innocence. I'm wondering how he's he they're probably
viewing the deposition against them is going to be damning.
The deposition when they have to do the depositions, the
things that they're going to have to say under oath
are going to be damning. Why why else would you
(32:33):
do this? Why else would you subject yourself to what
this is and not just one other women with you?
And that's the strength of any sort of action like
this when you have that many others. I'm saying, for
Deshaun Watson, why would you? Why would you do this?
Well know, and that's that's you know, you'd have to
ask his his legal counsel. But the reality is, I mean,
(32:54):
think about some of the headstrong decisions he's made. He's
chosen not to play for a team, which he's never
really come out and said the exact reason why he
had fallen out with cal McNair after signing already a
big contract and playing under that contract. And so you've
got to think that he's he's of the presence of
mind where I don't know that this is exactly what
(33:17):
his legal team would want in a perfect scenario, he
might be the one who thinks that this is the
best way to go about handling it. And as I
said earlier, I think the more he puts himself in
the public eye with all this stuff that's coming out,
the worst that looks for him. Two Pros and a

night and are now eleven in the West, just out
(35:45):
of the play and position. LaVar called that, man, So
now we should be conserned. Ain't gonna make it. I mean,
Anthony Davis is going to come back for the end
of the season, right, I mean that that would be
my assumption, doesn't That's a great, great statement. This matter
(36:07):
for Lebron's legacy because he's played so far into I mean,
he's was it how it was nineteen seasons? Uh? Twenty?
I think so twenty. I mean, are people judging him
now for his team's success on what they're able to
do or is it more of just getting to those
(36:27):
all time records like scoring, etcetera. You think they're looking
at well, I think he's The debate has still been.
He doesn't have more championships than Jordan's so I think
that that's what people are looking at. Every season gone
has got to be a harder, harder chance for him
to get it. I don't know why we feel the
(36:48):
need to debate like Jordan or Lebron. I I just
I look at Lebron, I say it's one of the
greatest time. It's a compliment. It's a compliment, but like
you're not gonna be no one was better at Jordan's prime.
I mean, I totally agree, but there are a lot
of people that would vehemently disagree with that. Well, and
those people I think at a wake up call during COVID,
when you actually saw the Jordan documentary, you're like, Okay,
(37:10):
this guy was a different breed. He was like a
lot of those people who have that opinion, they try
to look at analytic or stats because they never actually
watched Jordan's peace. See. I think that Jordan is still
playing at such a high level that even though the
Lakers stink, and they do, I mean, yea, even though
the Lakers stink, and they do stink. The fact that
he's playing at a high level. I don't know that
(37:31):
he's going to be judged for this era of Laker basketball.
But the reality is, Look, they're potentially going to miss
the playoffs two out of his four years there. They
lost in the opening round last year and the one
the title they did win was in the bubble. But
it was. It wasn't this started look a little horse.
It was, though, I mean on the list, I mean,
(37:53):
I don't know. I think that was a lot of
l A teams apparently benefited during Can you believe that
anyone else win, Roberto? Can you did anyone else win
a championship? Unbelievable? And then and then on the back end, uh,
you know l A was shut down for a lot
longer than everywhere else. But you know there's that which
means they were healthier than everyone else. That's right, they were.
(38:16):
They were. That's right. They had their mask on and
we're holding the breath when they didn't have them, no
cases anywhere? Absolutely what else we got, you guys, In
case you miss it. Tiger Woods and his son Charlie
flew out to Augusta yesterday and played a full practice
round with Justin Thomas, a full eighteen holes. All right,
so he's back, isn't he? Is he bad? Tiger's back?
(38:39):
Is he passed? Unbelievable? I mean Tiger watching. Yeah, it's unbelievable.
It's been over for so long. A right, he's gotten one.
I will say this, he won one more major than
what I thought he would. I thought he was watched.
He lost his superpower, man, I thought it was watched. Yeah,
he lost his superpower. It is. It is funny how
(39:00):
the superpower. It's going to be interesting to see if
Deshaunt Watson can play still because he's seemingly he's gonna
lose this superpower too. What do you mean? I mean
he has comparable He has a girlfriend, that is true.
I mean Tiger had a wife. He was a little
bit first. That a relationship problem. If if you can't
admit that someone else is attractive or good looking, that's
(39:21):
something weird. You know, there's a deep issue with him
and his girlfriend. I tell, hey, listen, if there's an
attractive person in front of me, I'll say, I'll tell
my wife is she attractive? Like good? I'm not going
down that road. I would say what you are, but
it would soft. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports
