six to nine am Eastern Time three to six am
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio. You can find your local

show over at Fox Sports Radio dot com, or stream

(00:22):
us live every day on the i Heart Radio app
by searching f s R. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Yeah,
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio.
We need to give an update on something we were

(00:45):
having a conversation about not long ago here on f
s R. So we'll get to that here momentarily. Uh.
It is Brady Quinn Jonas Knocks with the here on
f s R. Saw your text false on all accounts,
absolute fall. Uh there, wait to wait to stir it up.

(01:05):
You do, Yeah, very good? Uh it is. We're gonna
take you all the way up through the end of
the hour. It is just Brady and I LaVar Arrington
not here, but we will take you up here on
fs are hundreds of Fox Sports Radio affiliates wherever you
are as Brady pointed out, it is Draft Day. The
NFL Draft is here. Night one of the draft coming

(01:27):
up later on tonight. We've got all sorts of stuff
attached to the draft, rumors, reports. The number one pick,
if you're just tuning in, Travon Walker, the defensive end
out of Georgia. He is the overwhelming favorite to go
number one overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Aiden Hutchinson is
the slight favorite to go number two to the Detroit Lions,

(01:49):
followed by Cavon Thibodeaux, uh and uh, and then from
there it's all right, we just kind of figure it out.
But that is that is where we're at as far
as the top of the draft goes. If any reports
come out about a a deal being done or our
team knowing they're gonna take uh, Trayvon Walker the Jags
that being uh and it's confirmed and all the reports
come out, we will let you know. But as far

(02:10):
as the betting odds go, Travon Walker looks to be
the number one pick later on tonight out of Georgia.
We were talking about the NFL Draft obviously last hour
as well, and now one of the over under picks
that we did not get to for time purposes. You know,
we're all about the clock here on this show, broadcast professionals.
It's what we do, um, the minus the l and uh.

(02:33):
And so we were discussing the draft and we were
doing over unders and we missed one that we have
to get in today because it will not apply tomorrow
when we do over unders. Uh. So we have to
I mean, this is look, these are the rules lead
to lapse sets. The rules here are Executive producer Lee.
What is the the final over under we did not
get to, which I think is really important with our

(02:55):
draft coverage. That is right because this one specifically revolves
around Pacific time, that being three to six am tomorrow
from our MGM broadcast stage where we will be counting
the over unders of number of Walk of Shames by
our MGM broadcast stage at three and a half. You guys,
three and a half, Brady, what do you think walk
of Shames by the MGM location? Hold on, how are

(03:17):
we defining this? What do you mean shoes off? That's
a that's a given, thank you. That's not one that
I would have thrown in the category. I wouldn't either.
You have to shovel. He's I don't know your shoes.
By the way, this is this is for every gender
of identification, correct, like this is not specific just one gender. Lee.

(03:42):
Why do you take your shoes off when you're hammered?
Heel's off? It's it's it's why are you wearing heels? Okay,
because I don't. I've never thought to myself, Man, I
gotta get my shoes off as I walk back to
my room through the casino, I don't know, walking barefoot
on nice carpet, which all those casinos have. It's kind
of nice. You want to put your bare feet on

(04:03):
a casino carpet? You think they're not pumping the auction
in that place and cleaning a NonStop. I mean, list
the things that I've seen. It takes more than just
a mop or one of those little handheld brooms to it.
But these are casinos. This isn't a strip club. Okay,
We're not taking a black light through a poker take
a blackjack table, stand on my clothes, hamper. I just listen.

(04:26):
I look at this Lye, and I go, I don't
know why you do this to me? I go, uh,
and and to me, I don't think that somebody taking
their shoes off is necessarily a walk of shame. Maybe
their feet are just so are so I think if
that's the prerequisite, you're not gonna get many people with
taking a walk of shame. I would I would start
there by taking the under I'm gonna take the over,

(04:46):
and uh and and and uh. Now, now that tone
in your voice means that you think I'm gonna groove
this to where I know what I'm thinking is just
like does does present company as far as people on
our count because I do know who's gonna be out there,
and so there's there's a solid chance that, let's just

(05:06):
put it this way, fifty of our show that's on
live radio and behind the scenes could be a part
of this count. So I'm trying to factor in that
the the l Brothers, Labar and Lee, Uh, they are
the party ers on this show. And so that is
a good point. Um, although I don't yeah wow, um, yeah,
I'm gonna take the over. I'll definitely take the over

(05:28):
because something tells me Lee you will have at least
a cocktail later on tonight, at least at least I'm
gonna take the over for this reason, not just because
of our present company and our crew. Mostly because there
there's there's two things that's gonna happen that are gonna
happen tonight. You'll get those fans are in Vegas that
are excited about their draft pick or disappointed, and either

(05:50):
way they're gonna be partying. So that I think that
gives you a better opportunity or chance of getting or
hitting that over. And that again, this applies of if
I'm not a steak, and do any gender right, however
you identify, applies to all of them. Correct, Okay, yeah,
I'm taking the over. I think actually they might be
easy over. And now you also to you you also

(06:12):
know this as well because you talked about how you
had some friends and family go with you to New
York during your draft and my trainer they got after
a little bit, and you know, you had somebody reading
a newspaper trying to sober up in the wait, where
was that the wagon? By the way, it was not,
it was not it was So they think the wagon

(06:33):
reads the newspaper. If your nicknames the wagon, okay, you
do not read a newspaper. You don't think the meat
wagon has opened up a newspaper like the Columbus Post
Dispatch back in the day. You don't think he's like
the Dublin Times back in the day. You don't think
he's Maybe he was looking for his own high school highlights.
When you're the schultzie, you're reading probably the Wall Street Journal,

(06:53):
and you're and you're kind of sitting there trying to
sober up and get your day stuff. But not the
meat wagon. That's not when you're that is insulting. But
you you had friends and family who went to New
York first time there and they got after a little bit.
I wonder, what are the friends and family of players
who are going to the draft think there's twenty one
of them? If I never is correct, there um friends

(07:15):
and family of those players who maybe have never been
to Las Vegas before. What are they going to do
after the draft wraps up and they look around and go,
oh my god, it's eight thirty pm local time. I mean,
they're gonna get hammered and probably blow a bunch of
money on some Yeah. I do wonder though, if they're

(07:35):
gonna make it to three am, Like that's the concern.
I think with the time difference and when the draft
starts and ends, will they make it to three M
because I think Vegas time now granted, it's like it's
it's kind of a black hole. Just you go there
and you don't know what time of day it is,
you don't know how long you've been in a casino.
I mean, trust me, I got stuck in a casino once.

(07:57):
I was so hammered. I was walking around. I'm like,
I don't know how to out at this point. I
do recall a time like that. I think I was
walking around for like an hour. Because a lot of
them connect, and so like if you have like Imber, MGM, Excalibur,
Lux or like a lot of them connect to end up. Well,
I'm just letting you know, well because I know that

(08:18):
you know, Thunder from down Under is there, and I
know you're a big fan. So that's why you know,
I just want, well, now au see chip and Nails.
You know, I like to, you know, to venture out
overseas from time to time, and so I listen. I
wanted to bring that up because I know you're familiar
with that with everything that goes on there, what the
drink specials are, But there is some that that that

(08:38):
that are attached to each other I know they called you, uh,
Timmy turnstyle and so so one of the things that
that I've noticed about Vegas is that you'll be in
a casino and in some places, you know, everything will
be really slow, but it's almost like things ratchet up
real quick there. And I don't know if it's because

(08:59):
you're you're, yeah, like it just it goes by so
fast that you like one of the most depressing feelings
is when you walk out of a casino and the
sun is coming up and you're like, oh my god,
because you see people that are older than you and
they're going to get a coffee, or somebody has taken
a jog on the Las Vegas strip, and it's like
you just start to question your decisions the night before.

(09:20):
You start to question the direction your life is headed,
and you just want to escape because you smell like
cologne that's hours old, you got drinks spilled all over you,
you got a button up shirt that's now got two
buttons gone because you got after it a little bit,
and and you know it probably made a bad choice
with a slot machine, confusing it for somebody else. And
it's just I just feel like Vegas steers you in

(09:43):
the direction of bad choices all the way through. And
some of these people, friends and families of these draft
prospects that are out there for the first time, they're
gonna see Vegas, and they're gonna see Vegas during a
draft weekend, and there's probably gonna be a lot of
free booze that are gonna be handed out to some people,
and I think they're going to be in some trouble.
I think that's gonna happen. I mean, to your point.
I never went out to Vegas and still I was

(10:04):
out of college, and I remember my first tip going
out there. I'll go, this is an adult playground, Like,
that's what this is. It's built up for adults to
go and spend money and have fun. But yeah, you can.
You can do whatever you want there. For the most part,
it seems like there's not much that's that's not legal.
The most shocking thing to me was walking out on

(10:24):
the street and not having to hide my beer. I
was like, wait a second, so you can just like
wait what. It didn't like, it didn't even make sense.
And I still was like looking around, like does anybody
see me? And I was drinking. I remember I was
drinking you know those college campuses that aren't dry where
you can walk around and have a beer. You standing
at a crosswalk with a beer in your hand, think

(10:45):
about I don't think that's exclusive to Vegas. Was for me,
I never, I never had that before. You gotta understand
when you grow up on the mean streets, you know,
hard hat lunch look off for those provy ones. Is
that a titlist? Yeah, it's a look I you don't
understand when you grow up on the main streets like
that inventor. Uh it's uh three and a half it is,

(11:10):
you know, it is something you gotta pay attention to.
And uh. And when you get to Vegas and all
of a sudden you can walk around with beers in
your hand on the street. I mean, come on, man,
like that's just a different world. All to get all
the way through. So for all of you that are related,
friends and family who are making the trip out with
a draft prospect, be warned. But we have the over
on walk of shame. So come by our our set

(11:32):
at the MGM so we can win a bet here
in the air. So there's that. What are we doing?

Sports Radio, Brady Quinn Jonas Knocks with you here on

another edition of the b Q News. Always a fun
way to close up shop here on a Thursday morning.
So that'll be yours coming up a little over twenty
minutes from now here on Fox Sports Radio. Hey, by

(12:38):
the way, did you see um, Laramie Tunsel. Now you
and Laramie Tunsel have something in common. Did you know that? Yeah,
we dropped a little bit on Draft ahead. Well no,
I mean you both smoked weed out of a gas mask.
I don't know if you knew that or not. That's
as allegation then I know I haven't either. You and
I are the only two people in radio t the

(13:00):
mankind that I've never smoked marijuana before. That is not
our world. But Larrmy Tunsil who did drop on Draft
Day because a video came out of him, uh smoking,
It's just one of the most amazing things that you
need to remind people about the backstory of that, because
that's what makes it. I mean, it was blackmail, wasn't it.

(13:22):
So if I remember correctly, Uh, and why research it?
If I remember correctly, his stepdad or his mom's boyfriend
or new husband, they had had a little bit of
a disagreement. I mean, what you know? So, but like
the dynamics of the relationship to play a role in

(13:43):
all this, Like how big of a d bag does
your stepdad or your mom's new boyfriend or whatever have
to be in order to pull this sort of move. Like,
I mean, I think about, what do you want money?
Otherwise he's gonna release this photo. It's just it's ridiculous.
And so the the photo comes out of laramie tones

(14:03):
smoking weed out of a gas mask. Uh, it's just
like it's just the whole thing is just hilarious. And
I know some people who looked at it and goes, well,
he's he's got some good cardiovast, strong lung capacities. He's
like one of those altitude masks. You know, like you
want to train at altitude. Remember when people were wearing

(14:24):
those during the pandemic when it first came out, people
were wearing those altitude masks. Think at know, this will
protect me. And uh, here's the best part about it,
by the way, because I've actually used those for a
little time before and I was like, this is stupid.
All they're doing is restricting your ability to breathe there,
and it's it's it's not safe, like you end up

(14:46):
getting like deprived of auction. You'll get headaches and stuff
from it. Some people passing out, and then other people
didn't realize, hey, there's no filter. It's just it's a
smaller hole for your breathe through than your mouth and nose,
and so it's not doing anything just at me from
spreading COVID. It's like, well, COVID could kill you, yeah,
so could not breathing that could also kill you. So
I have fun with the the Altitude mask. But Larry Tunsil,

(15:09):
so the the gas mask picture video whatever it was,
came out and I guess it was his mom's boyfriend
or stepdad. They had some sort of an altercation and
this was his way of getting even. Uh, and so LARRMYE.
Tuncil ended up dropping in the draft. He goes to
the Dolphins um and look, he's had a pretty nice career.
I think he negotiated his contract with the Houston Texans

(15:30):
if I'm not mistaken. But now he's also trying to
profit off the gas mask situation. He's got an n
f T coming out, a one of one n f T.
He's actually not profiting off of it. He's taking the
proceeds and he's given the chairs. See I thought a
portion of the proceedure going to charity. Yeah, I think
a portion. But again, I don't think he's profiting off

(15:52):
I think he's trying to make good on all of this,
and he's trying to help basically trying to help change
the stigma around mirror wanted. So he's helping out those
who have been convicted of h I believe, crimes involving marijuana.
And it's going to a nonprofit involving that. So I
don't know how much he's taken off. I think he's
trying to give a bunch of the charity. I mean

(16:13):
he should give, you know, like instead of taking away
the stigma of marijuana, I think the stigma and gas
masks should also be counted here. I mean, we can't
overlook the stigma a gas mask, because I felt like
it was kind of insulting to portray gas masks like, oh,
they don't serve a purpose? When do they absolutely do?
Just you know, they serve multiple purposes. And I feel
like he got a took about the desire by the

(16:35):
way of like you needing to get baked so bad
you go find a gas mask to go get high,
Like I just that's a whole another level, right, Like
like there's like sneaking to go do something so like
your parents or someone doesn't see you, and then there's
no full fledged going on. Amazon buying a gas mask
you can smoke with. There's just another level. Well, it's

(16:56):
just it's stages, you know, like when you first drink.
The first thing you drank, it was like, oh you
had a beer. It's like oh man. And then the
next thing you know, you have too well well yeah,
but again zemo was hot back hot back then, and um,
and so you start off low. Yeah, but uh, mickeys

(17:16):
never Mickey's that's what you start with. Mickey's yeah, Mickey's
forty and then just see what happens after that and
graduate up to a steel reserve and then just there's
you know, just all the stuff that's on the bottom
of the shell for under three dollars at a seven eleven.
That's where you where you look at. And so you
just you gradually start to venture out into other and

(17:39):
other territories. And now you look back and you go,
remember when I started out and eating just one beer?
And now you think about all the progressions. Laramie Tounsil,
where did he start? Was? It was? It just did
he did he just smoke like a blunt? Or did
he just smoke weed out of an apple? Like? Like,
what are the stages that you get to a gas mask,
Like what's this age right before a gas mask? You

(18:01):
know what? I don't know, more like the joint the
size of a Christmas trip. Yeah, and that's what I've
always wondered that, Like where where did he go from,
you know, to get to the gas mask? Just that journey.
I would love to know if he could take us
behind the scenes on that, But who knows, maybe we'll
make an n F t off that. Uh and uh,
you know, trying to donate that to a chunity somewhere,
all right, So congratulations to a Laramie toun Sol. He's

(18:24):
moving on with his life. Uh, and that that regrettable
moment at the NFL Draft. Speaking of the NFL Draft,
don't miss two Pros and a Cup of Joe tomorrow
morning live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, fresh
off the first round of the draft. That's LaVar Arrington
and I will be broadcasting live on the casino floor.

The more you do, the better it gets. With MGM Rewards, Dyne,
stay play, earn on all of it. Visit MGM rewards
dot com for more details. Subject to earning and redemption
limitations applicable. There's certain purchases and in certain states. How
about this. The Arizona Cardinals Brady Quinn have picked up

(19:30):
the fifth year option on quarterback Kyler Murray, which means
he is set to make twenty nine million dollars in
three So Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals are paired
up together for another couple of years, except for the
fact that there was a report that came out a
couple of weeks ago that said Kyler Murray is not

(19:51):
going to show up and play for the five million
dollars that he is due to earn this upcoming season.
So is Kyler Murray going to get a long term
deal from the Arizona Cardinals. Before this, two or three
moneys are going to be due to him? What are
we saying? Okay, so do you want to have the
dorky conversation or do you just want to slap it around? Like?
What what do you want to do here? What do

(20:12):
you think? Um? Probably not the dorky conversations. I don't
think we get much accomplished, much accomplished. Let's go, let's
slap it around. I don't really have an option that's slappy.
Sundays were a thing here for like five six years
on FSR. Let's do they were? They were? Um, so
here's this thing right, like there's like a present like

(20:34):
there there's there's only you know, there's only so far
people are willing to do certain things. Okay, it's it
works the same like, for example, there's only so many
drinks you're able to have before you kind of say.
I know what happens after I have won too many
drinks in Las Vegas. I fall off a cliff. I
black out. I've been there to help, like make sure
you have to get back to your hotel room because

(20:56):
you all of a sudden started slurring and other things
start happening. So it's like I've seen it before. So
you've set a precedent in your life where anytime you
go out or go to Vegas, you cut yourself off
at a certain amount of drinks, usually two or three
year lightweight that that happens. It's similar with the Arizona
Cardinals organization where you don't want to have to negotiate
with a player when he's got two years left on

(21:18):
his deal, because once you do it with one player,
you have to do it with every other player. And
so a lot of organizations will say, we will worry
about this when you've got one when you're one year
out for free agency, to give you an extension. And
so it's not even so much that it's it's you know, hey,
how's he played? Where's this team at? Because by every metric,

(21:41):
for the most part, you would say Caylin Murray has
been improved, the team has been improved there on the
right trajectory. So it's really more about the precedent. I
think with Steve Kim in the Bidwells, the organization that
they know if they do it for Kyler Murray and
Eric Burkhard, his agent, the Floodgates open, and it allows
every other player to make that claim and try to

(22:02):
get that as well, so that becomes difficult for them.
That's the first thing. The second thing is there's probably
some concern where they say, look at Baker Mayfield, look
at some of these other contracts or examples of players
Carson Wentz, Jared Goff who you know. In the cases
of those two players, they were extended and then I
don't think they even made it five years with each

(22:23):
of those organizations. They ended up moving on afterwards. So
I think there's some thought and concern too. And then
you look at Baker Mayfield, who's you know, heading in,
you know, to his fifth year and they picked up
his fifth year option. But they're saying, yeah, now we
don't want to sign him to an extension. We we
go and trade for Deshaun Watson. We signed him to
a big money deal. So I think there's some thought

(22:43):
or concerned there too that after year four is maybe
more of the the judgment point on Kyler Murray and
because they don't want to get stuck into a long
term deal like you know it was with Wentz or
it was with Jared Goff and have to worry about
moving them. So I'm sure it's the second thing they're
concerned about, which you know, it's a legitimate concern, But

(23:04):
I don't know. I don't think it's I don't I
don't think it's as realistic as what they're making it
out to be. I think Cala Murray is a franchise quarterback.
You do, you have to curtail the system to his
skill set, sure, but his skill sets pretty darn special,
especially when he's able to get out in the open
space and run with a football. If you're a bad
football team and you're picking number one overall and you

(23:26):
hire a head coach and you draft a quarterback number
one overall, and you improve every single season and you
just made the playoffs and that guy's a two time
Pro Bowler and a Rookie of the Year, what am
I missing? I don't like, Like, what do you? That's
so it goes back to what we said after the
season when you had Michael Bidwell, the owner who was

(23:47):
critical of where they were at, and he was upset that,
you know, two division rivals were competing in the conference
championship game. Dude, do you remember where you were? You
were picking number one for a reason if you told
the Jacksonville Jaguars last year, have you told them, hey,
you're picking number one overall. But here's the thing. We
got a brand new head coach and we got a
brand new quarterback. Three years from now, you're gonna be

(24:08):
in the playoffs. Every team with elite would sign up
for that. Yet in Arizona there's just this question about it.
And I don't understand. I don't know what they're waiting.
I don't I don't know what the issue is. I
really don't. I don't know either. I don't know if
it's that they're playing within the division where you've got
you know, other teams who've been to a Super Bowl,
won a Super Bowl more recently, obviously the Rams. Then
you look at San Francisco, then you look at Seattle. Um,

(24:30):
not not as quite as recent, right, I mean the
last time they were there was eight years ago. But still,
I mean the Cardinals are looking at saying, man, it's
has been a while, and we feel like we've got
a roster that's built to win. Now we need to
see those results. But uh, look, I think ultimately it
will end up working itself out. Um, it's just you know,
some of these contracts, the moneys that are are thrown

(24:50):
at these players, it's too much for them to say no.
I mean, even in the event of Deebo Samuel, you
know he wants to play for a certain average annual salary.
If I'm a player and I'm in his shoes, I
don't care about average annual salary because that's spread out
over the life of the deal, and it doesn't matter.
I want to know how much you're willing to invest
into me, meaning how much you're willing to give me

(25:11):
guaranteed an assigning bonus up front. That's where I know
your get your commitment to me is that That's where
I know if you're willing to guarantee me, you know,
eighty million, sixtymail, whatever it is for for a wide
receiver that's competitive with the market. That's what I care about.
I'll worry about years three, four, and five of my contract,
you know, after the next couple of years. Once I
get that sixty million upfront guaranteed in the bank, you know,

(25:34):
then I feel more secure things because the rest of
these contracts are all fluff. If you're Kyler Murray right now,
you're looking at the team saying Okay, I'm getting five
this year. You picked up my option that's now fully
guaranteed once the extually, you know, exercise the option, which
they did. That's thirty four million dollars approximately. So there's
the starting grounds for what you're gonna negotiate into the

(25:55):
framework of an extension. For the first couple of years.
They've already got it fact turned into pay him thirty
four million, So you better believe that's the floor of
the negotiations. And then you start working off of two
franchise tags after that to create what would be like
a four year extension ballpark floor of that that that discussion,
So that's where you start. You know, those numbers start

(26:16):
to escalate pretty quickly, and that's why I just have
a hard time believing that he wouldn't take whatever the
Cardinals will be willing to offer him. I think the
hard thing is I don't know if they're going to
offer him anything, because they might. They might keep coming
back to him and saying, like, look at Lamar Jackson,
that dude doesn't want to even talk about a contract
extension because he's so obsessed with winning a Super Bowl
and he's a year before you like if anyone should

(26:38):
be getting one, he should be. He's already been a
league m v P. He's already been the playoffs, winning games,
Like if anyone should be, he should be. And he's
too obsessed with winning a super Bowl. So I do
wonder if there's the precedent they're concerned about what else
they're seeing in the quarterback market, but also with you know,
maybe how they feel like he's handled himself this offseason,
if that's been a de herrin to them as compared

(27:01):
to maybe how Lamar Jackson's got out handling things. By
the way, Brady, do you remember what you did, uh,
the night before you got drafted? Do you remember where
you were, like specifically night before you got drafted? Yeah?
What's that? Two thousand seven April? So we originally I
had a couple appearances, Like I said, you know, it

(27:22):
was different back then, right because you had Monday through
Friday that was all different marketing events and different things
you're going to because the draft was over the weekend
all day Saturday Sunday. Now it's a little more broken up,
which I actually loved this format. I wish it would
have worked out that way, um where it would have
just been on a Thursday night. You have a little
more time to absorb it and relax. Because when we

(27:42):
got drafted, I was like shipped off immediately to go
pick up Joe Thomas and it head into Cleveland and
then we were in a rookie minicamp like that next week.
I remember how this all kind of broke down and uh,
not having really the opportunity to go walk for graduation
and all these other things that other other kids were
able to do. Um. But the night before we had

(28:03):
gone to an appearance and I think what we're talking
about that's with LaVar. I think that was where like
Fat Joe was performing and it was just like it
was just it was a crazy atmosphere, which you know,
my grandma wasn't gonna be able to handle that. You know.
My parents saw that were like this is a little
much for us, son, and I was like, okay, Grandma. Yeah.
We ended up finding i want to say, like an
Irish bar, and we literally just took over the back

(28:25):
of it and we probably sat there eight you know,
had some beers and just laughed and like talked about
you know, talked about old memories and everything. Just getting
to that point so it was. It was one of
the cooler moments. And it was really the first time
where like I was able to kind of just let
loose and be around family and friends and loved ones. Uh.
The night before you got drafted. I remember this because
I watched you get drafted in a hotel lobby. The

(28:49):
night before, I was at a Gwen Stefani concert with
my girlfriend at the time because she loved Gwen Stefani
and I was surprising her for her birthday. And um,
I got absolutely mangled. I mean because I mean I
had no interest in being there, so I just went
double fisting beers at Universal Amphitheater. Uh. And I don't

(29:11):
even think it's around anymore at a Universal City Walk Burno,
it's not around anymore, right, you know? Oh my Gibson Ampathy.
I got hammered. And then I remember sitting down at
the kind of hungover at the at the hotel lobby
the next day, and that's when I saw you get drafted.
How about that night before the biggest night of your life?
And uh and your radio wife later on in your life.

(29:34):
Was that a Gwen Stefani concert? How about that? I'm
glad someone was getting hammered. Yeah, I wish, I wish
I could have could have claimed that. And then by
the time I got drafted, as long as it's so cut,
maybe would have been sobered up by that. I mean,
I guess, and I think there was what's the what's
the Cowboy bar? That was there burn Oh um, there's
also one on Sunset. Lee probably knows this, Yes, of

(29:57):
course you know it, of course. Yeah. Saddle Ranch was another.
And remember we went there pregaming and I probably had
like four or five beers there as well too, just
got buckled and then watched my soon to be radio
wife get drafted by the Cleveland Browns the next day.
How about that? Uh comes full circle? You know it

(30:17):
does circle definitely does. Go ahead and give it to me.
What a great draft is? Wall to wall Draft talk

It's like no doubt, thank you, Okay, Yeah, thank you. Well,

You don't know would it tell you when your relationship ended?
But as soon as you decided to go to Gwen Stefani,
tell me about it, and also my comments the following day,
which I'll tell you off the air about the NFL
draft and just what the scene is probably like for

(32:52):
some of those guys after they get selected that high
in the draft. Um, she didn't take too kindly to um,
you know, but you know again your point on the
relationship dead man dead man Walking. It was over not
long after there, But who cares? All right, We're gonna
be back tomorrow six am Eastern time, three o'clock Pacific

(33:15):
live from Las Vegas covering the NFL Draft. Even missed
any of this show, you can check out the podcast
at Fox Sports Radio dot com after we go off
the air. But right now, it's time for something we
do every single day. It's called this. Let's go to
the news desks. Here's Brady Quick. Hate to see it,

(33:36):
hate to do it. But a New York City pediatrician
spent the COVID nineteen pandemic complaining online about her grueling
twelve hour days in full ppe on the front lines,
only to have it revealed that she's actually a a
school doctor and she works nine to five and not

(33:56):
even close to that. Dr Risa hoshino A written emerged
as one of the pre eminent physician influencers on social
media platforms, claiming all of this, Um yeah, meanwhile they
find out she's in New York City public school pediatrician. Alright,
So so she was saying twelve hours a day, but
actually it was a nine to five job. Now, can
I I'm just throwing this out there. Maybe she meant, um,

(34:21):
nine am Eastern to five Pacific, which would be eleven hours,
So maybe that gets us closer to the eleven hour
or the twelve hour mark. She just confused on the
front end the time zones with the back end, and
maybe that's where you know this this confusion came in. Yeah,
that's a good point. That's a common, uh, you know,
common mistake. A lot of people started out talking about

(34:43):
their Danny East Coast and finished specific time because that
makes sense. Yeah, a lot of a lot of sense,
I think. Uh. I mean, you know, one of the
many during COVID. It just took advantage, you know, I
just well, it's uh, I mean, who is the was
it Josh Bellamy of the Bears? Uh? He would play

(35:03):
for the Bears, the Jets, the Dolphins of them not mistaken,
didn't he? Uh? He used like some COVID funding ump
to buy a jewelry and a bunch of stuff. And
I think he's doing time. I think he got got
put away for that. There are a number of people
who fell into that category. I remember seeing a rapport
I think we actually this on the Peak You News

(35:24):
at one point about a guy who bought a lambeau
with it with his PPP funds, and they were like, yeah,
not what they're intended for. They're supposed to be, you know,
using them for your business or your company that's having
a hard time surviving through all this, So I believe
he faced some jail. Tak It just never ceases to
amaze me how many scumbags there are in the world.

(35:46):
It really is amazing to how many scumbags there are
in the world. And every time I think all right now,
I'm not gonna I'm just more and more impressed by
their ability to cut corners and screw people over. Really,
I mean, it's kind of human. Yeah. Well, let's let's
get an update from the Johnny Depp Amber Yeah court lawsuit.

(36:08):
Though the most recent happenings. Um, I guess well, I'll
put it this way. Johnny Depp is keeping himself entertained
h during what has been a heated defamation hearing against
his wife Amber heard. We've talked about it at length,
but he's been keeping himself entertained by drawing intricate portraits,
portraits on post it notes. Apparently a a a TikToker

(36:35):
was able to kind of catch him while drawing this
sketch on a post and note. It appears to be
a doodle of a woman, although it still remains unclear
based on the video, but in the video, Depth's attorney
takes out aside glasses to get a closer look at
the artwork from Depth, whispers in his ear, and then

(36:56):
after examining the courthouse drawing dep s, attorney nods approvenly
and holds his hand to his heart, then points at
his client. Meanwhile, Depth smiles ste proud of his posted portrayal.
Didn't he lose a finger? How? Yeah, that was yesterday's news.
How's he making art without a finger? But then again,

(37:17):
he was Edward Scissor Hands, so I feel like, you
know his you know, maybe he's a method actor and
he felt like I gotta lose a digit but still
get creative, much like my character at Edward Scissor Hands.
There's other sketches of him coloring, and he's not just drawing,
he's been coloring too. That's that's uses a form of meditation,
I guess for some people. Yeah, that's uh, that's I

(37:39):
mean the whole thing straight. You remember that one time
we were doing a show on Sunday nights, Uh, and
you said, um, you got a physical from Edward Scissor Hands.
Remember that he didn't actually never happened was human fecal matter.
