LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks. Coming up on this
Tuesday edition, we have got another scandal in the NFL
and a wild off season we are going to discuss.
We've also got one coach in the NFL who maybe
spoke a little bit too soon. We've got some restaurants shaming.
We got the NFL upset at a team in the NFC.

(00:21):
We've got more moves that need to be made for
the San Francisco forty Niners. We've also got a college
football program that is unrealistic. We've got the latest on
a potential sleeper in the NFC. We've also got some
blue blood showing off in the NFL Draft, and it's
the b Q News. All of it is yours coming
up on this Tuesday edition of Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio. You're listening to Fox

(00:46):
Sports Radio. Yeah, you know, if you were, if you
were waiting on one other item from the NFL offseason
to break, We've got you covered. We'll get into that
for you coming up here, and just a couple of
moments from now, it's Two Pros and a cup of Joe.
Fox Sports Radio, Slavar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks with

(01:09):
you here on fs ARE. You can hang out with
us as always on the I Heart Radio app. You
can find us on hundreds of Fox Sports Radio affiliates
and wherever you are making us a part of your
Tuesday morning, we appreciate you doing so. We'll take you
all the way up until night am Eastern times, six
o'clock Pacific right here, Fox Sports Radio. All right, So
this has already been a crazy chaotic offseason for the NFL.

(01:30):
I mean, we've had it all. We've had major trades,
we've had record setting contracts. We've had an owner with
a child that he didn't want to claim that story
popped up. We've had cheating allegations. We've had the game fixing,
you name it, my grandmother riding by on a bike,

(01:53):
give me a finger. Everything this NFL off season. But
if you were but if you were looking around, yeah,
if you were looking around, going you know what, there's
something missing? Hey, I know what. It is? A lengthy
suspensions suspension for performance enhancing drugs. DeAndre Hopkins stepped right

(02:17):
up to Playton, said, you know what I got you covered.
Six games? He gone. D hop is gone. Listen. Some
people call him hops some people call him hip Hop.
I prefer to call him DeAndre Hopkins. Regardless he's gone
six games. Whatever. Uh he goes six suspension. Hope you
thinking of Bernard Hopkins, the great Bernard Hopkins, great Pernard.

(02:40):
The execution. We get a round of applause. Just get
a round of applause there for one. Jettis and I
tried to distract him, trying to derail him from no,
clearly the monologue that he had brought from last night's notes.
He didn't. He can not be derailed. You know, they
have blinders on on racehorses. I'm like a racehorse. I'm

(03:03):
a racehorse from the waist up like I have blinders.
One yea? Why? I mean? Did they raise? We were
watching Chris Jones run his forty last night, found herself
watching it for the first time ever. Yesterday it had
to been the funnies I talk about performance enhancers. What happened?

(03:28):
I don't know the best part about it though, is
after he falls and then gets up and someone runs
over to make sure he's okay, is he tells the
person what happened, and and literally everyone in the buildings like,
we know, Chris, we saw it, like the earth it
moved a little, like there was a minor earthquake when

(03:50):
your elephant trunk came out of your hands. But that's
my favorite part is like he's trying to explain to
everyone else, We're like, yeah, no, we all saw it, man,
we we know exactly. It's the first time that someone
was running in their ball back thought of their pants
somehow do you think do you think, by the way,
do you think there was a first time a scouting
assistant who was there and he was sitting next to

(04:13):
a coach who had binoculars, and the coach just put
his binoculars down real fast, and the assistants like, hey,
so what do you see? And he's like, I don't
worry about it. A submarine fell on the turf, Like
do you think how uncomfortable do you think it? God
for people that had an up close look submarine? Yeah,
I would love to know if, like the NFL seriously

(04:33):
contemplated putting them in different outfits whatever for running, Like
how can we avoid this from ever happening? A kid
is there, like a unit's hard or a lee. It's hard.
We can have them where so there's never a chance
that we have an athlete who maybe maybe like that
full body suit that you see swimmers, remember that was
like a thing in the Olympics, and that got out

(04:53):
because they were like, oh it bigs sextual. It's just
that the story that keeps on giving christ Joe and
but it worked out well for him, but it didn't. Yeah,
it's too bad. So uh So now does this say,
does this make us understand why the Arizona Cardinal has
made the trade for Hollywood Brown? Maybe it starts to

(05:14):
uh starts to make some more sense there because something
was coming. They knew something was coming, and away we
go six games d hops out to start next season.
That's odd for you, it um because you know, once
this came out, you talked to some people, they're like, yeah,
there was rumors about this, but nothing nothing, nothing ever
came out like they held onto it. And that's why

(05:37):
for the NFL, you look at just getting off of
the draft and you're like, Okay, now we're gonna hit
this kind of loller downtime. Nope, they just drop another
bomb on you. And this is something that I think
it'd been contemplated for a while. I mean, think about it.
If you and Jonas can read the quote from his uh.
I don't even know what Doug Sanders refers to himself as,

(05:57):
but um, he said that the test was from no BA.
It's May three. Yeah, we can turn this stuff around
relatively quick. Test a couple of samples to get an idea,
and they're like, yeah, October's was clean, Decembers was clean.
Now I'm kind of wondering why he's being tested every month.
Is in the protocol? What's what's happening? Um? But then

(06:17):
they're like, yeah, Novembers wasn't And I'm wondering. I'm going, okay,
but that's a long time between when this actually occurred
and then when the NFL decided to make it public.
So clearly the NFL has been holding onto us, holding
on to the Cardinals new and and they make this trade,
which I would ask, why not? Deepo Samuel, And I

(06:37):
think part of the reason might be the asking price
seems to be ridiculously high for his services from the
fort and also the division aspect. I doubt San Francisco
wants to trade him in the division, but are you
there with Jimmy. Are you saying all right? Let me
just make sure I'm understanding this correctly, because I don't
disagree with you, but just so people are on the
same page here that the NFL wait and kept in

(07:01):
their holster a p e D suspension until after the draft,
a p D suspension that six months old, just to
steal another headline on a Monday afternoon. Is that what
you're saying. I mean, I wouldn't put it past them.
I mean, it does make sense why six months later,
like like why I drop it right after the season,

(07:22):
Like it does make some sense now and um and
and they haven't really denied it. So so there it is,
no more, no more. De hop there LaVar, Hollywood Brown,
your guys in there a long time. I mean I
thought it was curious to make the move because you
had so many receivers. I think that was the first
thing I thought, like, are they all going to be there?
Who's gonna who's not going to be there? But I

(07:44):
didn't think that it would be under these circumstances, you know,
And that that's kind of the thing about it. And
you know, d Hot was fighting, knows those injuries or whatever,
I mean, I don't know what it is that he
tested positive for, but it does seem to make more
sense now that that they would trade for Hollywood Brown. Um,

(08:05):
but it is a different type of receiver. So if
you're you're bringing in, you know, Hollywood Brown to replace
what you seemingly are going to lose in production from
having a healthy DeAndre Hopkins, those are those are vastly
different different skill sets or or types of football players.

(08:25):
I mean, the hop runs runs routes pretty good and
and catches the ball very well, whereas you know, Hollywood
Brown is more of like a a speech stir, you know,
a guy that you kind of want to send deep,
you know, and do different things that way. Now, a
lot of complaints that had started to be levied on

(08:46):
DeAndre Hopkins was he was unable to escape or get
away from coverage and and so a lot of a
lot of the complications of trying to deliver the ball
to him or based off of him not being able to,
you know, get free of of defenders. So, you know,
I don't know, I don't know how how this plays out.
You know, after the six games is over, do you

(09:08):
just look at it as we have, Uh, just a
full wide receivers. Um, you know, meeting room. Do you
look at it as one of these guys needs to go?
I mean, I don't. I mean, I guess it's not
a horrible problem to have that he's gonna sit out
for for six weeks and then you get DeAndre Hopkins
back in weeks seven of of the season. But you know,

(09:31):
I don't know, I'm not really sure how that one
plays out. Well, there were thoughts that Andy Isabella they're
gonna move on from him. However, now you can see
why maybe they have it at this point or if
there was one like that would be the receiver you're
probably looking at, you know, but it does make sense.
They signed back A J. Green, they Cherry for Hollywood Brown,

(09:52):
They've got ron Dale Moore. Outside of those three, I
don't know that you look at the roster wide receiver
and go, you know, like, well it's there's there's guys now,
but there's nothing after that. Really. Yeah, So I think
they'll probably end up with having five going into the
year and then maybe someone's released or not, but it

(10:13):
would depend on special teams. I think the more interesting
thing is, like what's been the Achilles heal for the
Cardinals since Cliff Kingsbury and Calumary have been there. So
think about this, like maybe they said they actually can
survive through the first six games without them, and then
you get him back and he almost gives you a
second win where like a little more energy, a little

(10:35):
more something to the season. It helps you as opposed
to last year when he gets hurt and then everything
drops off a cliff. It almost felt like with as
much momentum as they build up through the first you know,
eleven twelve weeks. So so maybe that scenario plays out.
We also don't know their schedule and what we've seen
in recent years from the NFL, they like to backload
schedules with divisional matchups. I mean sometimes literally the last

(10:58):
three or four weeks playing all divisional games. Well if that,
if that's the case, maybe this doesn't hurt you that bad,
at least within the division not having your number one
wide receiver because of the NFL schedule makers, which we'll
find out here what nine days or May twelfth, whatever
it is. So I kind of look at it and
just wonder, like how big of a loss will this be?
We know how big of a loss it was last year.

(11:20):
But with their schedule, with the way they've played in
the past early in the seasons, you know, maybe it
won't be as difficult. Maybe it won't be as bad
because they'll be able to overcome it. But but I
think it's a great opportunity for Kyler Murray if he
wants that contract extension to now be like, all right,
like we got through the first six games, I was
bawling and we didn't have DeAndre Hopkins and I'm healthy,

(11:42):
So you know how about that? You know how about
this extension now that we've been asking for for quite
some time because I've proved it to you. So there's
a there's a big opportunity there for him. The one
problem is, Uh, the Cardinals a f C opponents for
next year is the a f C West. Uh So
if they get stacked to a bunch of a f
C West games, knowing that division early on in the season,

(12:04):
they can make up ground division wise, But it's gonna look,
it's gonna look a little testy. Uh. And then the discussion,
I'm sure we'll be had. This is why you don't
give Kyler Murray a contract. This is why you are
because people are gonna focus on this, not realizing they're
missing their best wide receiver. Uh, so it'll be it'll
be interesting to see how it plays out. Usually don't
stack that many upfront, though. Maybe they're out to get Arizona.

(12:26):
Maybe they're out to get them. Maybe that's what this is.
Trying to make an example. I'm just I'm just saying,
like maybe they they're trying to make an example the
Arizona Cardinals. You've got a guy who takes P E.
D s. We're gonna lay lay the hammer down here
early on in the air. Um. All right, it is
a two pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio.
It's Lavarton, Brady Quinn Jonas knocked to the here on

Slide match limitations apply. All right, it's coming up next. Uh.
Somebody in the NFL came out very strongly with the statement.

(13:08):
Uh and upon further review, not a whole lot there.
We will get into that discussion for you right here
on FSR. Be sure to catch live editions of Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar
Arrington and Jonas Knocks week days at six am Eastern,
three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I
Heart Radio. Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox

(13:29):
Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you
here on fs ARE. Um, so we are going to
get to this story in the NFL because somebody came
out very strong with some comments and upon further review, apparently, uh,
not a whole lot going on. So we will get
to that here in just a moment on fs ARE.
This is why you never know when people are listening,

(13:50):
because sometimes people are tuning in and out, which is
why you know we'll reset topics throughout the course of
the show. Um, somebody on Twitter just sent this message
in Yeah, just waking up pretty sure I just heard
Jonas body shaming somebody about a submarine falling out of
their shorts. I'm lost. First of all, there's no body

(14:10):
shaming at all. Where's the shame there? Okay, that's a compliment,
all right, So you know, just listen to the podcast afterwards.
That like proved to you more though, that we're just
in an in a time and civilization where it's like
so easy to communicate, like I could text you guys

(14:31):
during break we can face time. We I mean, there's
all these different technological advances. Yet somehow people don't listen.
People do not listen, They do not like what on
for a second, reread, reread without tone, reread the tweet,
reread the text like it's it's crazy to me how

(14:52):
oftentimes in a world where communication has never been better,
yet like people become more divided on things because they
don't listen to each other. It's crazy. I'll never understand it.
I really won't. Here's how it sounded. No, I'm not
trying to spin this anyway, So just completely monitone. Uh,
just waking up pretty sure. I just heard Jonas body

(15:14):
shaming somebody about a submarine falling out of their shorts.
I'm lost, by the way, if you use body shaming,
I I don't think I've ever actually used it in
a sentence before. I do every day body shaming myself
every day. I look in the mirror. I'm like, you
mother effer sun up a b I would not could

(15:37):
get your own yes, like like, yeah, I do body same,
but you didn't say body shame, like as what I'm
saying is you're you're trying to motivate yourself, right, I
think when I finished talking crazy to myself, I'm like,
why am I body shaming myself? Okay, I've never used it,
just so I can use the term, though, you know,
I only do it just so I can you the term.

(16:00):
You know, never any body shaming in my vocabular's just
body slamming, all right, Yeah, yeah, I remember had a
guy tell me that Chris Jones when he fell on
the ground like he was body slamming. I had a
guy tell me I gained weight years ago, and uh
I never thought it was body shaming. He was right.

(16:20):
I was fat. I needed to get back in shape.
As long as I've known you, Jonas, you have always
been a skinny, feeble looking man. Thank you very much.
I you know, it's compliments like that that make me love.
Moments after six am Pacific time, I got to tell
you st Jonas, and in public outside of being in

(16:43):
the studio and I gotta tell you he's how was that? Uh?
You know he trying of moves like a serial killer man.
Like you know, it's like he's there one moment and
he's gone the next like and then like you just
see him floating like you'll see, you know, like in
the movies, you see like a crowd of people and
then you see the serial killer just floating and you

(17:05):
see their head. You can only see their head moving
and like in between the people and the crowd. It's
kind of like Jonas. I thought we would like have
a drink or have like some appetizers or something like that.
Jonas was there, Like Jonas appeared, and he'll let you
look at his site profile for like a good like
thirty seconds. It feels like, you know, a hundred and

(17:28):
twenty seconds, but it's only like really like a thirty seconds.
And then he turns his head to look at you.
It's really it's like kind of creepy. Hey did he
do what I what I said he might do where
he like finds you and just like staring at you.
Oh yeah, he did it. He did the stair. He
did the stair and then he was gone. But then
he was gone. You know, you're looking at something, looking

(17:49):
at the real deal. Hey, but here's what's even more
interesting than Lee was gone. I'm just saying, here's why
did they both disappear at the same time. I'm just
trying to figure here's the real story. I didn't want to.
LaVar was so focused on just the NFL Draft in
that casino and just the draft alone, that I didn't

(18:12):
want to take him away from. There were some hammers,
and I will say that the hardware store, there were
some hammers in there you definitely could build stuff with. Yeah,
there were some tools in there and the toolbox. Yeah,
they're they're uh, they're sure, we're yeah, yeah, just amazing.

(18:32):
Can we air something out here? Here? He goes, just
because Lee's a part of this, they were it out, LaVar.
Where did you eat during your time in Vegas? Were
you able to get a good meal in I mean,
Vegas is known for having some amazing restaurants. Yeah, I
don't remember the name of the places we went, you
know they were booked, but yes, yes, they were good. Right,

(18:53):
it was good food. Yeah? Uh, Jonas and Lee, what
did you guys decided to go to dinner? We found
a very fancy um uh Latino plays on. As we
walked down Las Vegas. It was called well it was.
I mean, it's a it's a it's a place you
guys have probably not heard. I'm not familiar with. It's
called Margharitaville. Jimmy Buffetts Margarite, thank you. That was my

(19:20):
first reaction. For Jonas, who doesn't travel much. He really does. Yeah,
that's where he ate in Las Vegas. Like he's there
for one good dinner, one nice meal. Always he's away
him and Lear there. You figure they go out grab
something nice, they go to Margharitaville. You guys got the
top golf after No, he did. Here. Okay, here here's

(19:42):
the problem. Oh man. Lee and I Okay, Lee and
I were walking down and we were looking for a
place to eat, and I said, hey, isn't there isn't
Margharitaville like right over there? And LEAs like I think
it is. And Lee's got good stories from Margharitaville because Lee,
you in your buddy. It's like an ongoing jokes. It's

(20:03):
a lifestyle, man, Yeah, it's an ongoing joke. And so
I guys ordered food from there. We got an appetizer. Appetizer, No, no, no,
we got an appetizer. Um, I mean Lee, uh, Lee's
eyes were working. Um a lot of a lot of
um you know what Lee's interested in? Was there? Um
you guys can figure that out story for the break.
But you know, we just we were there and we

(20:25):
wanted to sit outside. It was the sun was going
down and we wanted to overlook. Yeah, it's just so
much going on there, man. I just I don't know
how you can do that. That's that's just too much stimulation.
That's why we needed a secluded secret place that not
a lot of people have heard of called Margaritaville. So
I just you know, some people wanted to go to logo.
I was like, no, some people. I mean it was

(20:48):
only you and you and Jonas. By the way, by
the way, this this also and we do that behind
closed doors. Here's the other thing. This coming from a guy,
Brady Quinn, who we were at the super Bowl in
Atlanta together and he's like, hey, I gotta take through
this a really good Chinese place and then we end
up a p F Changs. Alright, So so the idea

(21:08):
that Brady's above is the idea that he's above this
is We're gonna make fun of anything you can say.
It was Ted's Montana grill. Well, but where we actually
met up and we had Sam Adams seasonal logger, which
was fantastic. We had after one, no, he had like

(21:31):
he might have had like six or seven, and then
we were, yeah, we were in some bood. I think
you were in the zone. Finally, dude, good story, kept
hogging the waitress and so this this crew from CBS
got pretty upset about it, Amanda blonas she was with
her camera crew, and then they literally said to us, hey,

(21:52):
can we borrow her for a minute because me Brady
and his wife who by the way, his wife still
had her luggage from the plane, just didn't even aither
to go to the room. It started boozing. Uh and
then you know, we got after it a little bit here.
But same team that one time, that one time you
can breag huh. All right, oh man, well that that's

(22:13):
pretty cool, you know. I just I will say that
actually that night bucked a lot of trensfer jonas he
had more than two beers. I watched him eat a burger.
He actually must have been a false false I didn't
need a burger because the kitchen had already classed. Now
the kitchen already that's not true. No, she didn't. I

(22:34):
met you guys. She did, she had a burger guaranteed.
No she didn't. I probably I met you guys there.
Trust me, you came before she did. I think I'm
a more credible source than you are. I'm a more
trusted source. I don't know that, but looky story, I mean,
you know, I just we already sounds more believable. We
had some you know, we had it. We had a
good time. And especially what you lose your credibility of

(22:57):
saying that you were looking for fine dining and ended
up at mark Ritaville. I mean, that's okay. First of
all that was described. I'm not trying to like, not
not body shame, but like restaurants shaming. That's exactly what
he's doing. It's just you're in Las Vegas, like it's
it's there's a lot of good places. Go to Margaritaville anywhere.
I agree. And guess what, Lee and I one of

(23:18):
the nights there, went to Tap Sports Bar, the phenomenal
sports bar inside MGM. Are friends in MGM and it
was great. It was a great time. Usually have done
that the entire time. Well, I mean, I've got a
dad's one of my buddy's dads. We were going out
to Vegas one time. It's like, oh, you gotta stop
by Magiano's and we're like, huh Like Maggiano's, you know,

(23:39):
the Italian restaurant, Like yeah, they got them everywhere. Why
would I go to the one in Vegas and that's
the best. I'm like, what do you mean, Like it's
a it's a chain restaurants the same. It doesn't matter
if you go to Vegas or it's all the same.
Like we want to go somewhere else, like go to again.
By the way, I'm going to a Jimmy Buffett concert
in Vegas in October and I will be going back
to that execut you know what? Good for you? Talks done?

(24:00):
Stay with it all right, don't let them trying to
steer you in there like like bouncing line. I just
told you guys, when Lee strikes back, Huh, Jimmy Buffett,
what are you gonna do when Jimmy Buffett passes? Like?
What happens that? Jesus? What are we play? I'm asking
the questions, We're gonna ruck Jimmy Buffett for like a
week straight. I mean, what are we playing pine pine

(24:22):
box derby here? I mean, what are we doing here?
Like the best thing is drink is is Hugh Jackson's
allegations that that's a great point. That is Mr Transition
himself speaking of pine boxing. That Marguerite Villing. Some people
call him the Bruce Jenny Hey. That was That was

(24:44):
LaVar Be like, we need to get to the topic.
We we do and we will get to that topic
here jin just for all the latest from around the
world of sports and Teddy about that. What's up? We
got some playoff actions, lenb a little NHL will start,
of course on the hardwood, where we had two more
series openers in the second round and both the home

(25:06):
teams won this time as opposed to the other night
with both the road teams. One Heat took down the
seventy six one oh six to ninety two, Tyler Hero
off the bench twenty five points, bam Ou to Bayou
twenty points, twelve rebounds, and the win for miamis they
grabbed the one. Seriously. Philadelphia, of course, did not have
star Joel and Bean. He's gonna miss at least the
first two games this series with an injury. Tobias Harris
twenty seven points to lead Philadelphia, James Harden sixteen points

(25:28):
in the loss. Sons never trailed in their game against
the Mavericks, winning one four teen, DeAndre eight and twenty
five points. StepN Booker twenty three points. They were two
of six players for Phoenix that scored in double digits,
including all five starters. Luca Dodgers did when he could
for Dallas forty five points twelve rebounds, but not enough
Phoenix with the one oh series advantage. Now back to
Brady Quinnabar Arrington and Jonas Knox in the Fox Sports

(25:49):
Radio studio. Thank you, Eddie, two pros and a cup
of Joe here Fox Sports Radio coming up twelve minutes
from now. The NFL is very upset about something and
it's a really dumb reason. So we will get into
that for you right here on Fox Sports or Radio.
Um So, Hugh Jackson, um is his claims that he
was paid to lose games by the Browns, the league
an now and stuff. Following an independent investigation has that

(26:10):
even pointed out that the allegations cannot be substantiated. Uh So,
so nothing there, even though Hugh Jackson made the comment
then walked it back and took a softer stance. Uh Now,
Hugh Jackson after the NFL's investigation, Yeah, no proof of
this whatsoever. And if I'm Brian Flores, he better have
some sort of evidence or some sort of proof, because

(26:31):
we talked about this at the time when it happened.
I just don't see how unless you've got a direct
text message or something in writing, or some sort of
evidence that that you can prove this, how this is
even going to be provable, and all the other allegations
that Brian Flores has made, I just don't see it happening. Sorry,
It's got to be something right to go that hard.
I mean, it has to be. Yeah. And and even

(26:53):
though the law firm he hired, those guys have the
reputation of of not like taking on just anyone to
do this, so it's it's look the Brian Flores lawsuit.
They Hugh Jackson tried to like tag onto that, They're like, no,
you don't, Nope, nope, And and so you kind of
understood why that was the case. But in regards to

(27:15):
what you had said, like, there's gotta be something. I
can't imagine someone would go out this far into following
a lawsuit and feeling like they have a case and
put on a a pr and media campaign. I know
it's calmed down now, but the reality is there has
to be some sort of evidence. Otherwise it was just
it's too big of a risk. But but I guess,

(27:37):
I guess I'm wondering is there a risk? Like, what
was the downside if if they don't find anything from
Brian Floors lawsuit? I mean, is there a downside? He's
still got a job, he's still coaching, He's young enough
for eventually. I think he'll find his way to another
head coaching job. People remember the job he did with
the Dolphins. I mean five ten years from now, you
don't think there's a chance that he ends up being

(27:57):
a head coach somewhere else. I think that's very possible
regardless of what happens with all this. Do you think
that maybe I'm living in fantasy land? But that's how
I feel. Do you think because he incorporated so many
other people, not just the Dolphins, it was the Broncos
and like he came out strongly when you tell somebody
that ay, they showed up to my interview drunk, like
that's coming out strong when like the stuff against the

(28:19):
Giants that like, it just felt like he incorporated so
many people and it's such a small world that somebody
knows somebody. I could see this maybe being And then
the Texans, after the Texans hired um Lovey Smith, it
was like he you know, he came out and was
you know, upset, and then you know, added them onto
the lawsuit. I just wonder if Brian Flores has added
so many people into the fire so much would there

(28:41):
that this thing is gonna burn for a while and
he's not gonna get another opportunity. He's going to be
limited and what his opportunities are within the National Football League.
I mean, that's just what it is. But you know,
Brady mentioned he still has a job, and and that's
the thing, like he's he's in there, you know, he
was he was a lotted an other opportunity. You know,

(29:01):
Mike Tomlin felt as though he needed to step in
and and give him a place of refuge. So but
but the one thing about these types of situations and
scenarios is they fade away and and they disappear, and
and that seems to be the thing. Like you we asked,
what's the what's the long term impact if if he

(29:24):
doesn't win or if this goes away, it's it's onto
the next. That's that's how culturally, that's how things are
handled anymore. It's like you're you're looking for a splash,
something to be outraged about. It dies off, it diminishes,
and you're looking for something else. I mean, you saw

(29:46):
it being done on your Twitter this morning, right like
oh your body shaming, Like okay, can I turn this
into something? Can can I get a little bit of
run with this? Like it's it's a silly example, but
at the same time, that's how things work these days.
It's not the substance of what's taking place and and

(30:07):
and and what people are outraging about. It's it's just
having the opportunity to connect to something that you can
be outraged about. And I think that's It's pretty sad
because in moments like these, you talk about like the
magnitude of things that take place, and and how some

(30:27):
things are really things that should be paid attention to
and focused in on, while other things get get kind
of the attention and and the more important things get
lost and and so to me, I mean, I don't
know where this falls and all of that, but what
I will say is, I don't think people are going
to be crazy outraged if if this lawsuit doesn't go

(30:50):
the distance. I think there will be a lot of
people that say, I I would have hoped that more
would have came from it, more reform or anything that
came from that. Or you'll have the people who said
there was nothing there to begin with moving on. And
that's kind of to me. I almost feel like, I
know we they've been reporting on initial hearings or initial

(31:12):
interviews or whatever connected to the case. I don't know
how many people even are paying attention to it at
this point, you know, really, to be honest, like, how
many people are really paying attention to this class action
lawsuit that Flora says now. I'm sure they will circle
back once there starts to be something that's levied out,
but nobody's really paying attention to it right now. I

(31:32):
think it's because it goes into arbitration, which clearly Brian
Flores and his team doesn't want, because that's where it
goes to die. If they can't find anything substantial, which
they most likely won't and maybe the reason why they
were so outspoken initially um to try to, you know,
force public pressure on the NFL to not let this

(31:53):
go to arbitration where you know, all that everything they
discover in that is it gonna come to the light
of death, you know, whereas if it ended up being
in a public court, somehow it would end up being different.

There's a team in the league who's got two really
big decisions to make, but we got some more information
as to why one has not been done yet. We'll
get into that for you right here. Fox Sports Radio
want to let you know we are brought to you
by Draft Kings. Download the Draft Kings app and use

DraftKings dot com for details. Sometimes you can't get to
everything in the world of sports or entertainment. Good thing,
the guys are here to bring you in case you

(34:42):
missed it, and for that we turn it over to
our executive producer Lee Do Do Do Do Do Do
Doal Lap Lap That's right, you guys, and in case
you missed it. According to NFL in center Peter King,
the NFL is upset with the Detroit Lions for handing
in their card to draft Aidan Hutchinson only one minute
after the Jaguars made their pick. I loved it. I mean,

(35:03):
come on, man, what they gotta wait around because you've
got some TV show to look after. They knew what
they were going to take if they turned it in,
let's go. But they gave Aidan Hutchinson their fan base
that confidence of like that was like Justes, we got him, Like,
oh my gosh, take these dumbasses did take him number one?

(35:25):
Here he is like, we're not even waiting. Like I
kind of like the effect of it. I mean I
wouldn't have been I get it, but I wouldn't have
you know, if I'm the NFL like that kind of
like showed a declaration of Bam, we got our guy,
and that's good for business. In the end, you don't
have enough eyeballs on the draft that you need that
many more like couldn't you wait an extra eight minutes? No,

(35:45):
kiss my ass, so we know what we're taking. Let's go.
I think the only thing that I would contemplate in
a serious manner is, you know, if someone's willing to
trade you know what himes. If someone was willing to
trade up with you and it was an offer you
couldn't refuse because they love Aidan Hutchinson that much. Now
because you're the Detroit Lions and it Hudson's from Michigan,

(36:07):
went to Michigan, it might hit a little different because
there that that plays into all of it. But that's
the only thing is you've got ten minutes on the clock.
You know, maybe you maybe you wait and see if
someone doesn't give you an offer that was you know,
too hard to give up on your trade back and
you get a guy like Cavon Thibodeaux or you know
whoever else you value as an edge rusher, and then

(36:28):
you know, you build on because that roster does need
a lot of help. As good as Aidan Hudson is,
he's not going to solve all their issues. I just wondered,
did they put that out there to kind of throw
people off of the smoke screen of how much the
NFL may know goes on, like in terms of what
what what the organizations are doing like, because to me,

(36:48):
that takes you off the trail, you know, so to speak,
like you you you wonder how many guys are getting
invited to the to the draft because the NFL already
knows they're going to get drafted at different things like that.
You know, if you're Malik Wills, I don't think you
would go yeah problem. And there were there were a
couple of guys that were probably I should have brought

(37:09):
a second suit Herida too. I mean, you just feel
like sometimes some of the myths get debunked as to
how much maybe known. You know that's all. Maybe that's
I mean, that's what this proved. It's a made for
TV event. The NFL wants to drag that thing out
as long as possible because they know you're gonna watch
no matter what, You're gonna continue to keep watching. You guys. Uh,

(37:33):
funny we this comes up. We were talking about the
Cardinals wide receiver unit. Des Bryanant was asked two days
ago who he would like to play for if he
came back to the NFL. Here's what he had to say.
Is your team easy problems joining? Oh yes? Parents on
the carton still remember told me that last year I
love to play with as on a car and white
and something about Kyler and the coaching, Kylarge coach. I

(37:55):
love the stag over there. I just I love the guys,
especially DeAndre Hopkins. That's my boy. You know, we're really
we're really close sods to the Cardinals organization's hey man,
hey my phone on open, not with mine, you know,
playing with Ron Delmore, Colin Mary um DeAndre Lamar. You know,
I'm not I'm not just you know, and not even

(38:17):
it's not even so much about starting just being in
that locker room, man, been a great example. I mean,
if they're so close, do you think he knew that
this suspension was coming in the hops, like, hey man,
what't you throw out some feelers because I'm gonna miss
the first month and a half of the season. Maybe
that was there. Um, By the way, he's thirty three.
He's only thirty three years old. Seems like he's been

(38:38):
out of the league for a long time for a while. Man,
what do you mean only thirty three? Well, that's not old.
I mean it just there was at one point where
he was the guy in the NFL back to back
to back to back plus yard season in Dallas and
then just fell off a cliff at twenty six. He's

(38:59):
got some Todd gur Rely to it. I mean, just
was never the same afterwards, Yeah, I guess, but it
was due to an injury, like was it? But Gurley
was like more of a residual of an injury. Yeah,
he started getting banged up in um. Then when he
did come back, he heard his achilles um. Yeah. He
just never after two thousand fourteen, just never really nothing

(39:24):
happened after that, just sort of fell off. But he
was great. It was great at his prime. He was awesome.
And I think also once Dak Prescott started coming into
the full Remember there was that discussion like Dez Bryant
was a tony Romo guy and uh, you know, maybe
he's not healthy for a young quarterback like that. Like
I remember that being a discussion. But you know, well
he loves Cala mur yeah, calam he loves um. I mean,

(39:51):
you know, I feel like Berto that that warrants it.
I mean, that's you know. I mean, if we're gonna
you know, I mean, come on, like, I just think
it's fair, there will be some room for for dads
and uh Colin, you know, yeah, I think so. Yeah,
racist somewhere. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk
