(01:02):
the way up until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific.
So there was an F one race Formula one. Um,
I believe that was in Brady's backyard. Now you could
see it over the fence, right Brady. That's uh, that's
where this race was. Ok. It was down around hard
Rock Stadium, which, um, I guess there was this Uh
(01:23):
someone must have missed the boat and then and by
the way, it was an unbelievable set up to take
a parking lot outside of an NFL stadium and turn
it into a Grand Prix racetrack. It's pretty ridiculous. Um. However,
people didn't understand the type of heat that this time
of year in South Florida and basically being in a
(01:44):
parking lot that type of a heat that they're gonna
be exposed to. So a lot of people were were
sweating it out down there watching the Martin a little
You've got some swamp ass there is that? Is that
what goes on this time of year. I'm not saying me,
but there was a lot of people who were down
there complaining about that. Oh it was you qq had
(02:06):
to swamp But I wasn't. I was following it though.
Um well up. Martin Brundle is a former driver, former
F one driver, and he now works for Sky Sports,
and um, all of a sudden these started making the
rounds on social media and they are phenomenal. So this
(02:27):
is the first little uh you know, snippet from and
the one that probably made the most noise that introduced
everybody to Martin Brundle. So he goes to interview Patrick
Mahomes at the race. Um, there's one problem though he
realizes or his producer realizes, at some point during the interview. Um,
it's Paulo ban Carro from Duke, not Patrick Mahomes. And UM,
(02:52):
the way he the way he plays it off after
he gets the new information is brilliant. This was Martin
Brundo from Sky Sports yesterday. I didn't you can hear
me up that? Patrick? How are you good? Good to
see you on the grid. Hey, what do you think
of this atmosphere? This is crazy. I've never been to
every one race. This is this is spectacular. It's amazing
(03:13):
to be alive right in the middle of the competitors
just before the race starts. Yeah, now you can see
they locked in. It reminds me of myself, the real focus. Okay,
it's not Patrick, that's why he ignored me in the beginning.
But what is your name? San Caro? Right? Okay, well
I thought I was talking to somebody else, so I'm
sorry about that. Whatever, yeah, whatever, Well that's a horrible miss. No, no,
(03:44):
you have to understand, LaVar. This went on for like
a solid five minutes of live TV where Martin Brundle
was walking around the quote unquote grid, which I guess
it's just the area kind of down where the cars
are and like the pit and all that. But there
was walking around and just trying to find anyone, like someone.
And the best is when he goes to follow could
(04:06):
you hear me up there? It's because the dude six
ft ten and Brundles so much shorter, so he was
literally he's talking to a giant. It was. It was
musty TV for anyone who was able to catch that
or watch. And now he did call um Venus Williams,
Serena Williams uh and this is how this played out, Serena,
(04:28):
good to see you. So tell us what do you
think of this event here in Miami? Oh, we love
having Louis and all the drivers Miami, so wishing them lug.
It's the first time the minute. Oh, what's the question
is no it doesn't really matter. Just nice, nice to
(04:50):
talk to you, actually, but we'll back that. I kind
of like it. I like it, but but want to
what don't you get like, don't you get reprimanded by
the higher ups? But at that point not allowed to
do that. At that point, I literally think they like it.
What do we have the drop of the social media
(05:13):
guy that he runs into? Oh yeah, we okay, so
the sound quality is not great. But I don't even
know how to pronounce this guy's name. It's John Luca Vacky?
Is that? Is that? Something like that? And he just
he just literally is like enamored with this guy that
everyone's going over to, and so he cut these guys.
So I gotta know who you are? Everyone you know,
(05:33):
blah blah blah. The guy's like, he's like, what are
you doing? I guess I'm a social media in Florence.
And he's like, okay, it's just like literally walks away.
Here's the here's that sound grandstands must be nearly empty.
So I don't know who you are, but i'd like
to know who you are. I'm not in Rundolph. You
look at a very interesting character social media sensation. Let's
(05:55):
say this, I'm noticed too, and what are you doing
on social media? Yeah? Catching on the more the more
I hear him, I'm catching onto him. He does have
some genuine conversations with people, but it's almost like a
(06:15):
skit where he's like completely oblivious to the outside world
of racing, and there's like, all right, let's just send
down Mort'll he'll find someone to talk to him eventually.
But the fact that nobody corrected him right and called
Venus Serena. She didn't correct them. The Patrick Mahomes, he
didn't correct him. He called Patrick. All he had to
(06:38):
do was was just say you know, this is my name,
or all Venus had to do was say I'm not
Serena and Venus. It's it's it's really loud down there though.
That's what they don't understand, okay, so they don't even
hear it. We had some friends who came over. They
literally borrowed like earmuffs because it's it's so loud because
the cars are starting to start up and actually start
(06:59):
to do do some like warm up laps if you will, um,
and so it's it's hard to hear. Bottom line is
and there's so many different people down there. Talking, yelling
and trying to get ahold of each other. So it's
a bit chaotic. Now, Megan the Stallion, is it the
Stallion or the Stallion? I mean whatever, Megan the Stallion wrong? No,
(07:20):
I have no idea. But she was walking around and
she had a like huge security guard in front of her.
She was making her way through some of the crowds
and here was a Martin Brundle noticing Megan Stallion and
her security presence, and that's a very big gloop in
front of her. I don't think Megan Martain Brundle from
(07:42):
British's television and how are you, Megan the Stallion. You're
a you're a free style rapper. I think she's happy. Okay,
you're a freestyle rapper. Have you got any wrap? First
today on Formula one used to put in the rice.
(08:04):
I canda do that because I did. Okay. She seemed
very happy to talk. That's very nice about and I
appreciate that. A guy comes up to it says, hey,
you can't, you can't interview already, goes well, I just did.
It's awesome, and you know what, they should send him
(08:25):
to every major American sporting event. And give him no information,
just hey, figure it out. Well, we'll give you the
name of who it is and what they do, Like
you could tell the producer like the beginning of the
Megan the Stallion, Know when you can tell the producers like,
all right, that's Megan the Stallion. She's a she's a
she's a rapper, just the way he presented it. Oh,
it's it's just so, here's the deal is, there's most
(08:48):
likely a producer who's down there with him and the
cameraman who's kind of leading them and pulling them to
certain people. And so the problem is is I don't
know if that producer is going to be able to
communicate effectively to him, you know, while he's got the
headphones on, there's all this this chaos around him. It
(09:08):
did seem like that the Grid, for what it's worth,
And I don't know if this is a typical was
just packed, like absolutely packed with people down there, Like
like Paulo ben Caro's down there. I have no idea
why outside of some agent, you know, tool him around
because it's a cool event to go to. But he's
down there talking about how how their drivers remind him
himself their dead yeah, I was. I was like, Okay,
(09:30):
I probably dialed in enough when you lost to North
Carolina twice this year. I mean, what are we doing here?
We gotta take out He's probably not over Brady, and
you gotta take him out like that. It seemed like
he was over it. He was, He's moved on. He's like,
I've got my eyes set on something else. He probably
should be the number one overall pick. He's a lottery
pick and so he's got a lot to look forward to.
(09:51):
But there it is. Martin Brundle, a starborn in Formula
one yesterday? How about that? Very entertaining? Awesome? Can I
say this about the race like I'm not into it?
It was down in kind of in my hood, if
you will, And I'm still not really like I think.
I thought they did a tremendous job. I mean, for
you guys to understand this, they took a parking lot.
(10:14):
Not only did they make it into a racetrack, they
actually had like an area where they created a pool
and had yachts in it, Like they had a beach
out where you could view it out where it drove by.
They literally created a beach in a parking lot. With you,
like the yachts out there and all that people kind
of out there like tailgating, if you will. It was
(10:34):
the craziest thing I've I've ever seen. But um, the
better story is Red Bull actually one Verstappen, I believe
it was his name. I mean, you know, I think
about this like Mercedes has dominated like Grand Prix forever
and as you'd expect, right, they manufacture, they make cars.
Red bulls a company. It's like by goll Its parts right,
(10:55):
It's it's an energy drink company. It's not made to
win this. So I think that was their third in
this year in the circuit, and it's it's pretty incredible,
Like for people who don't follow it and you're looking
for some something else to get into, like that would
be something to check out. It's pretty neat. Was it
a better set up than when they try to do
the NASCAR race at the Colisee? The average I don't
(11:17):
know if I saw at any point in time the
speed go below? Was it? What was the average speed
in the I think it was lower lane. I think
it was literally like because it was a small track.
Because I think the idea was, hey, this would be
a really cool event, and it was cool to see
how they were going to make it all line up.
But we were watching just in studio the previews they
(11:41):
would send reporters out there and thinking to ourselves, how's
that going to work? Dude, Like this doesn't make any sense.
So driving as fast as they are, like bumper to
bumper on the four or five, it's just awful. Drivers
are getting out of the car throwing up everywhere because
they're dizzy because it's so small. They just keep whipping
around in circles the whole time. But I didn't recreate
the but I did think that that Fox did a
(12:02):
tremendous job putting on that race at the sum That's right, Yeah,
still way to go. Jonas is trying to get hey,
I'm going to uh speak for yourself. On Friday, I
hear that TV star Lavari's back. Jonas is trying to
get back at Jones, trying to get on that too
many at just saying, you know the Fox LaVar. You know,
(12:23):
if Jason McIntyre comes down with an illness, you know,
I'm in the bullpen warman. I think I'm in there
by myself. Bro. Yeah, let me make a couple of calls.
You know, hold on, let me make them right now?
All right, very good? Please? The problem is your computer
for the same spot. Yeah, I mean, I'm just saying
I think guys better be careful now listen. You know
I would gladly allow Jonas to be able to do
(12:45):
what he needs to do. Yeah, but be careful. Jonas
will knee cap you official, He'll he'll take out the
star player to heartbeat. You know you're the star player.
So I'm good for at least one slot, you know
what I mean. Like you, you gotta watch Jonah see me.
I'm just here to support you, you know, big bro.
(13:06):
I'm here to support so I can slide in and out,
you know what I mean, undetected. That's how I like
to get you. You careful there, Uh it is Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks with you here on FS are
coming up next. Um, we now have some some new
information as to why one team in the NFL did
(13:30):
what they did in the draft. We'll get into that
for you here on Fox Sports Radio. Be sure to
catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week
days at six am Eastern, three am Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio. Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
(13:52):
Jonas knocks with you here on FS are coming up
later on this hour, We've got another edition of the
F S R I R. We're gonna rep or some
injuries issues, ailments from a busy weekend here on the show.
So we'll have that for you here again later on
this hour, little over twenty minutes from now on Fox
Sports Radio. UM. So, there was some speculation as to, uh,
(14:14):
you know what the Seattle Seahawks are going to do
in the draft, and they were looked at as one
of those teams that potentially would take a quarterback in
the draft. Uh. They had the ninth overall pick, and
so a lot of people were were looking around going Okay, well, maybe, um,
you know, maybe that's a destination or a landing spot
for one of these quarterbacks. Obviously Drew lock is there, um,
and there's been the Baker Mayfield speculation. Um. But according
(14:38):
to Brady Henderson of ESPN, Uh. The Seattle Seahawks passed
on Malik Willison the draft because they didn't think that
he was NFL ready, Which makes me wonder are the
Seattle Seahawks NFL ready or is Drew Lock just going
to be the guy moving forward? Because I just don't
know what the plan is. I really don't like what
what are they doing at quarterback? Or as Pete Carroll
(15:00):
full of crap and he's trying to leverage this when
Baker becomes a free agent, when he gets released, and
then they signed him and bring him in. I thought
the most interesting thing Pete Carroll was quoted as saying
is that Drew Lock would have been the number one
quarterback in this year's draft class. And at first glance,
I was like, what do you have been higher than
(15:20):
Kenny pick It? But then I thought about him more
and I was like, he's probably right. I mean, when
Drew Lock came out, there's a chance he was gonna
be a late first round pick somewhere in that category,
maybe second round pick. But if you actually go through
his time at Missouri, he was incredibly productive. Kind of
viewed more as a gun slinger type. I think Jake
Cutler was a fair comp for what he was who
(15:43):
obviously was a first round pick um. But the concern
was sometimes the the up and down play that you saw.
But when you dig a little deeper, you realize he
had a different play caller every single year throughout his
time at Missouri, And I think some people took some
of the inconsistent play with a grain assault. But if
(16:03):
you would have compared as as much as he started
at Missouri, uh, some of his highs and lows. I mean,
at one point he had the SEC record for touchdown
passes before Joe Burrow came along, and Mac Jones and
and and tow Us started to pick away at that.
But you know, he's probably not wrong. Like I bet
the grade they had on Drew Lock coming out in
the draft was probably higher than any of these guys,
(16:25):
and it was one of the reasons why they just
were not willing to spend a top ten pick on
a guy they felt like they weren't sure of or
didn't have a first round grade on. Well that's Kenny
Pickett or Molik Wolis or anyone else. But I just
I think this offseason was a really interesting offseason where
we traditionally look at general managers and head coaches and
no and no one believes what they're saying leading up
(16:47):
to the draft because there's smoke screens and they're they're
trying to maybe deceive you know, everyone too, so people
don't know what they're actually gonna do. And this was
a year where John Snyder was pretty outspoken and adamant
about what he thought of k Willis, and we should
have believed him. But like this is where it like
pays off for the future, where now like next year,
(17:07):
when they're talking about whatever happens this year and they're
talking about potential taking a quarterback in the draft, we'll
be looking back at him. We did tell us exactly
what you thought of Millik Willis last year, and what
they thought of the quarterback draft class last year, maybe
we should believe them. Like it almost builds up more
credibility for John schnight and the rest of the general managers.
With so many of them who told us this wasn't
(17:28):
a great draft class and these guys aren't gonna all
get draft in the first round, we should have listened.
You know. It also pushed pressure on any any would
be uh possible trade partners. You know, if you're really
throwing it out there and kind of thinking it through.
It's like, maybe maybe you'll understand that whatever value it
(17:49):
is you're looking to get back for this trade, this
is how I feel about it, and we're we're going
to stick by that. And then it plays out in
the draft. So it's almost like, even where you're at
today with the possibilities of having a trade partner, does
this make a trade partner more willing to play ball
(18:10):
in the scenario? You know, because now it's like, Okay,
I'm gonna call the bluff if if we don't get
rid of say let's just say, for example, uh Baker Mayfield, Right,
we don't get rid of them, and and we still
have him going into the draft. Now you're playing your cards.
You're playing your cards or you're playing your hand based
(18:32):
off of the one suitor that is probably the most
qualified to believe is going to play ball would be Seattle, Right.
So if you don't, if you don't go down that road,
it almost is like you've put them in a position
where you're saying, we're good with Drew Lock, so go
ahead and and move on from us. Like if they
(18:54):
stare Malik willis down to down the barrel and didn't
do it. Maybe they're staring Baker Mayfield down on the
barrel and they're hoping for the results that he gets
released sooner than later and they can make a move
on him. But I think they have sold the fact
that they're okay with Drew Lock being their quarterback going
into this season. Let me ask you guys this, because
(19:16):
if we're we're looking at the NFC West, I think
everybody would agree that. You know, it's the Rams division,
and then obviously the Arizona Cardinals are talented, but it
does feel like San Francisco in Seattle, even though San
fran was in the conference championship, it feels like those
two might be third and fourth next season. Who do
you feel more confident at going into next season as
(19:37):
a starting quarterback Trey Lancer, Drew Lock, Drew Lock. I
feel like I know what to expect that at Drew Lock.
I have no idea what to expect the trade. That's
when I just look at it and I go, Man,
does San Francisco have the worst starting quarterback in the division?
Like if they move on from Jimmy Garoppolo, Like, so
(19:58):
maybe to two peaks this might not be ready, Like,
I don't think we have a lot of problems. Well,
I mean we don't have a large enough sample size
to say through his development and practice he's going to
come in and be a lights out player. I mean,
you gotta get game reps to know. I mean you
could come out and be like listen, Peyton Manning. I
(20:19):
could recall his rookie year. He struggled. He struggled, interception right.
The idea of it is is if you're gonna base
your feeling for a draft d off of their season
of getting their feet wet and getting acclimated. Some people
(20:40):
have tremendous success immediately right away. It just happens that way.
Some don't. So I'm not I'm not prepared to say
Trey Lance isn't the answer. He might get in and
after four or five. I know for me, it took
me seven games, seven games I got myself together, and
I probably if I would have played the first four,
you know, the first four games or the first part
(21:02):
of the season, the way I played the last part
of the season after that like seven eight game period,
like halfway through, man I probably would have made a
Pro Bowl. I would have been in contention for Rookie
of the Defensive Rookie of the Year. But it took
me longer. You know, a guy like or Lacker. He
came in and and and it didn't take any time
(21:23):
for it to to show and for him to acclimate
and adjust, and obviously that led to, you know, a
Hall of Fame career. So to me, I'm not willing
to say trade Lands is the worst. He's just the
most unknown out of out of anything, because I think
you said it right, Q. We know what Drew Lock is.
At least we have a good idea of what we
(21:44):
think he is, but we don't have that with trade Lands.
It could go either way. Uh yeah, I mean I
was just gonna say that that's but you do have
to factor in, you know, Kyle Shannahan, John Lynch there
front office, the move that made to take him where
he did clearly with with less. I mean, think about
(22:05):
as you compare Tree Lance to what Drew Lock was,
because the only thing we really can do at this
point is looking at both both as draft picks and
one you had an organization that I think Kyle Shanahan
is one of the best offensive minds in the league.
I think John Lynch is incredibly intelligent how he's navigated
the draft, the way he's got about, you know, managing
the forty niners, and they traded up to go take
(22:26):
him at number three. Meanwhile, you have Drew Lock, who
slid to the second round, And if you looked at
it at the two coming out of college and you
couldn't you know, you didn't know who was who, you'd say, well,
Drew Lock was more experienced, probably as just as big
of an arm strong an arm was way more productive,
and you know, probably as more refined as a player
(22:49):
than the other guy who came from a lower level,
started one season, in fact, had sat out of a
season due to COVID rules, and and wasn't even as
fresh coming as rookie year. Like, there's a lot of
questions around that. So yeah, I mean when you think
about it, like on paper, yeah, you'd have to say
Drew Luck is the more known or you kinda have
a better idea of what to expect. But I do
(23:10):
think there's a degree of you gotta buy in a
little bit to cal Shanhan and John Lynch and what
they saw in order to spend that pick in a
trade up. The draft Capital they did to go get them.
It's two pros and a cup of Joe. Here on
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knoxically here
on fs are you guys want a little bit of
a game time here? You want some game time? I
gotta I got, I got a fun little game for you,
a little a little surprised for you. I'll just toss
(23:33):
onto your laps here as we talk a little talk
a little NFC football. Alright, So if we have just
some game show music here, all right, I've got I'm
gonna see if you guys, you were flawless last time
we did this, all right, So a little a little
music here, because we have got a question for LaVar
Arrington and Brady Quinn. So the Seattle Seahawks. We're talking
about the Seahawks their quarterback situation and where they stack
(23:56):
up in the division. What about in the conference? All right?
So in the camp, friends, there are three teams with
worst odds to win the NFC. All right. So the
according to our friends at Draft Kings, the Seattle Seahawks
are fifty to one to win the NFC. There are
three teams in the conference that are worse. Who wants
(24:18):
to go first? Jonas Knocks of Chicago Bears. That is incorrect.
They are tied. They are one there one, So there
are three teams in the conference, LaVar, LaVar, you want
to take a spin here? Carolina? That is correct, the
Carolina Panthers sixty two one, sixty two one to win
(24:38):
the NFC. Brady, your turn. I'm gonna go to the
Atlanta Falcons. That is correct. They're the worst seventy to
one to win the NFC according to our friends at
Draft Kings. LaVar, can you guess the third? Do we have? Detroit?
That is correct, LaVar, Arrington, you have done it. That
(24:59):
is correct, the Detroit Lions at this one, the Carolina
Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons, uh have worse odds than
the Seattle Seahawks to win. I'll be honest, by the way,
I actually a little money on Detroit. I mean, I'm
just saying I like what they've done so far this
office at Yeah, why not? I mean, Rich strike just one.
(25:23):
That's a good point. Yeah. If Rich said anybody could
win in the n c a A playoffs, it's possible. Yeah,
it's your money where your mouth is. Yeah, so six
to one if you want to make some coin on
the Detroit Lions. So, I mean, if it were to happen,
it would be tremendous for football, I'll tell you that. God,
(25:43):
I wonder what so since about this. You've got a
quarter of football there there were seventy five or eighty
to one. You've got a team though that It's not
like Jared Goff hasn't had moments in the league. He's
taking a team to do a Super Bowl. I mean,
I'm just saying, like it's draft. The problem is that
they've Bay in Minnesota in the division who which Why
(26:03):
are their odds lower than the Bears? I have no
faith whatsoever. And then I don't think anyone needs to
be afraid of the Vikings. They've given nobody reason to
be afraid of them. And and in Green Bay, we
gotta see, if you know, we gotta see what they're
going to be. I mean, it's possible they could be
better in terms of the way they use you know,
(26:25):
Juju and a couple other guys they brought. It's possible
that they could be better than what they were, even
losing Davonte Adams. But it's possible that they're not as
good without Dante. The Bears are the worst team in
that division and it's not even close. That's true. You
talk one thing to Juju did not go to Green Bay.
They went to Kansas City. Kansas City. I'm so excuse me.
(26:46):
It's my bad thinking there. There's uh they drafted Christian
Watson and they I thought they got somebody in for you.
Oh yeah, you're you're thinking of um, yes, Sammy Watkins,
Savvy Watkins. That's he's kind of on a one year
proof of deal. But slot slot guy could go outside.
I mean, yeah, it is Sammy Watchins because I think
(27:08):
he had I think they could be better. I just do.
I don't know why, but I think. You know, Aaron
Rodgers sounds like he's happy. I mean when when he
was speaking, I don't know if we heard the sound
bite of him doing his interview talking about the draft
and them being able to make it work with later
round draft picks with receivers. You know, in years past,
(27:29):
that would have been a criticism. You know that that
what the problem is. He seems to play better when
he's ticked off, whether there's turmoil, He's what the m
v P. The last two years. Maybe they need to
start a fight with them, Like maybe maybe they need
to they need to do something that's gonna tick him
off a little bit. So we'll be it at playing
at the MVP level again. Um yeah, it is. Uh,
(27:49):
it's gonna be interesting to see how that place. So,
by the way, another thing the Lions have going against him,
they're gonna be on hard knocks and teams that are
on hard knocks, just so there's that. Um. Look, once
the Colts started going on hard knocks in season last year,
their season fell apart. You know, next thing you know,
they're losing to the Jags and a clown out in
week seventeen. But you know, all right, two pros and
(28:11):
a cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, Bar Arrington, Uh yeah,
but that too. Again, we'll clean all this stuff up
post production. All right, it's radio. We can get that done. Uh,
two pros and a cup of Joe here on Fox
Sports Radio before we get to break. Did you guys,
uh are you buying the dirty play by Jordan's pool
because he yanked at John Ransony? I mean, is that
(28:32):
even like? Uh? I mean, are we at the point
now to where every little thing uh like John Ran
afterwards said broke the code. Now you've got Grizzlies fans
that are saying, uh that that what he did was
dirty because he swiped at his knee. And now John
rand As that he pointed out, is probably gonna miss
a game here in the postseason. It just feels like
(28:53):
we're it's a bit of a stretch to think that
that guy, by yanking at somebody's knee trying to go
for a loose ball, all that all of a sudden,
that he was intentionally trying to hurt somebody. If it's
not John Moran, is it as big of a deal
because he's been the best player in that series. It's not.
I think it's partially that, Like it depends on who
it is, because when it's a star player, you just assumed, oh,
(29:15):
it's dirty. They're trying to take him out, they're trying
to do something. I think anyone who's played basketball would
tell you, you know, loose balls get a little dirty.
Sometimes you know it's dirty when when Marcus Smart dove
for the ball and Steve Kerr was complaining that he
was intentionally trying to hurt Steph Curry, It's like the
balls on the ground was he supposed to do. Like,
it's the playoffs. I mean, at some point, like every
(29:38):
possession matters, every possession counts. These I'll say this about
this round for the NBA playoffs, it's been competitive. It's
it's been fun to watch. You know, the the Phoenix
Dallas series tied up now and that was one that
I kind of thought, all right, maybe they had a chance,
maybe not. But I mean, just you go through each series,
it's it's it's getting tight. It's been compelling basketball. Even
though we don't have some of you know, the Lebron James,
(30:00):
Kevin Durantce you know still in this year's playoffs. It's
it's starting to get better as things come down the stretch.
So I just I think that's a part of playoff basketball.
It's a part of close games. I mean, you're doing
all you can to try to go get a ball,
get an ex possession. And I didn't view it as dirty.
I just I didn't. I thought his fingers looked like
they were in a kung fu manner and it was
(30:22):
coming back and I don't know how you you have
your fingers in a in a clutch type of grip
or whatever it was he had going on there and
you're not near the ball, like I don't know, it
just was what what what would that describe to me?
What a kung fu manner means? Like like you know,
(30:42):
like kind of like the fingers pointed downward, not not
stretched out to try to reach and like tip the
ball or swap the ball away. It was more in
a like a pointing back towards your body manner. You know.
When it was coming back, I don't know. It just
it looked like he has got too much of a
hold of his kneecap for it to just be just
(31:05):
it was just he's going for the balls. He thought
he was going kneecap grabbing. He thought just what it
looked like, man, it looked like fit for kneecap. I
got news for you. If if Jordan's pool can dislocate
somebody's kneecap in the middle of a game like that,
That's why I said, he's got that is impressed, He's got.
(31:26):
I've got, I got it. I got big kneecaps like
I got big targets there. See, you gotta be careful
these days is out here, man, I dislocated my kneecalf.
Let me tell you something, there's some there's some kneecap
grabbers out here, though. You gotta be careful. Yeah, yeah,
you those balls, Yeah, you know, you gotta be on
(31:48):
the lookout for kung fu kneecap rippers that are going
for the balls. How did that dislocated kneecap field? Jonas? Uh,
it's just weird. I don't know. Did you look down
and go, huh, that's not where it should be? Um,
I didn't to put it back? Well, yeah, well my
cousin was there and she's, uh, you know, worked at
(32:10):
a hospital, and she knew how to do it. Once
they throw it back in, you feel like everything is normal,
Like she worked at a hospital. Okay, what do there?
I don't know. I mean, there's a subway at the hospital.
We've had all our birth say worked at subway. I
have no idea. Hey, she got the job done because
(32:32):
she was able to pop. She was able to pop
it back in, and I just remember once it was
popped back in, I felt like I was I was
a completely a hundred percent. And then I went to
go stand up and my leg was just shaking, and
I'm like, oh, this isn't good because she had an
employee of the hospital was not like a nurse or
a doctor or someone who's maybe medically cleared to do
(32:54):
something when you're in the middle of Illinois and there's
nothing else around, and uh, like you work at the hospital,
you work sanitorial services. But it's okay, I've witnessed this before.
I actually do valet there. Um. I just I parked
the car as a patients come in. And the other
part of it is everybody was drinking a significant amount
(33:16):
at that time, so everyone thinks they can do it.
I've seen this done before, and the person who doesn't
thinks that they could do. Did you guys see lethal
weapon when and shoulder back? And I could do That's
the only reason why it probably worked out the way
y'all wanted it to work out, because if hedgob been sober,
it would have been an entirely different response and entirely
(33:36):
different deal. She probably to you said hurt right, She
probably jacked you up, but you were just too intoxicated
to feel well, here's I think you might be honest
something because it's never been the same sense like it
just never Well we come to a conclusion now go.
We've uncovered why you're struggling in life with your knee.

report and away we go. Who what's to report to?
Any issues? Ailments, injuries from a long weekend? I know
sticks you were traveling correct yant scranting out, while I
will say no, no, no, I r injuries and Scranton.
But my kid did have a well of a game
for lack of wan at strong safety. And yeah, did
(35:52):
get wet. It was very cold. My feet were warm
in my ug boots, but my hands were in disagreement
with the rest of my arm. Well, well we're in
agreement with the rest of my body, as my feet
were the only thing comfortable out there in the rain.
So it was raining, and it was it was like
forty degrees. Really, yeah, it was bad. I mean, it's
it's me. When does this stop? When when did we
(36:15):
get to like like normal weather for May Scranton, there's
there's winter and summer. There's no there's no there's no
spring for fall, good winter and summer. That's brutal. Yeah, well,
I mean you know that if you're a Midwest guy.
But well, I mean I am a Midwest guy. I
mean I'm glad to western part of the state. You
(36:38):
know whatever, Man, I didn't have I didn't have enough.
One race in my backyard, you know, not me. Could
you hear the cars from your crib? No, it's not
it close to me. It's like away, it's not bad, Jonas.
You have to understand LaVar. Everything Jonas says space get live.
(36:59):
It's just it's it's all what is this reckless? Just reckless?
Anybody else got anything they want to get off there?
Let let me put it this way. I had an
awful weekend. You no know why, because I was finishing
up finals, because I went back in my m b
A And as of right now, I'm I mean, I'm
(37:19):
getting closer to the finish line. And most people would
tell you who do it. The first year is like great,
You're like, oh, this is awesome. I'm learning stuff again
and it's just networking, meeting these people. And you get
the second year like all right, I just wanted to
be over with like that that's where I'm at now.
I was like, I'm like missing time with my kids
and my family. It's Mother's Day. My wife's looking at
(37:40):
me like an a hole because I'm working on a
group project to late hours of the night. Yeah, I
was a dork. I did absolutely nothing this weekend. Yeah,
but she can't give you a hard time because you're
pursuing something. But deep down she's like, it's Mother's Day.
I need a little bit of attention. Yeah, it's a
bummer's boy girl. That's what she wanted to do. Disaster
(38:02):
with the kids. Our youngest literally took her out of there.
You would have thought people were watching me carry out
a bomb, like like they were so thankful that we
were leaving the restaurant. Yeah. I might a little bit
hurt Locker walking out taking time bomb. But was it
the just the noise it that bothered her or what? What?
I don't know. She's a stubborn kid man. She's a
(38:24):
lot like me. It's she's Awful's what she gets? Awful
Like you just can't get her out of it. All right.
