the last week without football and then kicks into gear,

isn't it? Technically we still had football this past because,
as Lee pointed out, so meaning what for God's sakes?
I like, I can we get that guy in the show? Lely? Like,
can we please interview that guy? I want to I
want to poke holes in this story? Are you gonna

But you know what's fascinating, how many hours was eighteen hours?

that should be noted here is I wonder what his

given that football a lot more credit than what he
should be. He might have been able to stay in
that bad boy for thirty six hours with the way
his body type was. All he had to do was
just roll over on his back. Yeah, it's a great point.
And what was his body composition? You know that body
fat percentage? I mean, I've watched enough shark weeks now
that like that's like the fear of sharks is kind

little bit like you know, they know what they want
to eat. They might take a nip out of you,
but they generally aren't going to come like like like

barracuda that might take a little bit of a chop
off of them or something like that. But I just
don't feel like, you know, you're in salt water, so

saw him in the water says to me that, you know,
he might have been a bigger guy. You know, it's

was just really trying to drag the story out because
I looked at the show, right, yeah, I looked at

the videos of Tiger crying and we being and stuff

won the Open Championship yesterday because it was Cameron Smith

You know, I understand to score, like how the holes
work and all that stuff. Pretty impressive. The beach he
was unbelievable. Jonas is just trying to build you up, LaVar.
Just then just take an absolute dump on the course.

It's easy to shoot a good well I mean that

We sat there like if you wouldn't have been able

that's what you're debating right now. I'm not made win
the British Open or the Open, or I'm gonna say
Cameron Smith wanted I just think because it's not like
Rory played bad. I think he had he wanted two
birdies and the rest for pars So it wasn't he
wasn't bad. He just Cameron Smith was was unbelievable. He

shot an eight under in the final round, which I think,
if I'm not mistaken, is tied for the Yeah, the
best score in the final round of any major. I
don't put that on Roy mclroy. This guy I just
found a groove and Rory had no answers for it.
It's just what's funny is that Roy didn't even finish
on the top two. Like that's like that's the funny
part about all this and I and Cameron Smith playing

the way he did. It's just, you know, it's it's
a little bit ironic that Rory McElroy shot his mouth
off and was very talkative and then melted down if
you want to call it that in the final round.
But I just think Cameron Smith outplayed him and and
got it done on that course. Well, they're just ripping
the live tour. It's the same. Like everybody's got a
comment about the live tour? Are you do you think

it's I would rather see if we're playing a major
and it's the final round, I would rather see these
guys struggle than go out there and shoot twenty unders,
eighteen unders, seventeen unders. Like I just feel like it
came across as maybe it was a little too easy.
I would just rather see difficult circumstances for those guys.

I don't think people understand like he didn't have big
calves before, but after the accident, like he has no calf,

I get made fun of all the time for how
little my legs are compared to my upper body. That's
like a young thing, though, who makes fun of them anymore? Um? Like,

let's go back to golf. No, But like Philip philosophically,
I just I find it interesting because even in the
three like if going back to football, you know I've
watched and go, okay, like New England won that. Like
like like you could say Atlanta, you know, made some
poor decisions or didn't execute, but in New England won that.
Like the bottom lines, I've always viewed it that way.

I don't feel like, you know, you've get someone who
kind of fumbles something that there's very rare circumstances I
should say where I don't try to give credit to
the victor right as opposed to saying, well, that team
just gave it away. It's like, no, dude, like that's
that's how the game was played. Like give credit to
the team that one that came back to be able
to do that, and that's again kind of what Jonas
(10:20):
point out, like Cameron Smith just played better the final day.
I mean, the odd thing I think in golf and
I feel like this happens sometimes is and I'm trying
to think of another sport that really compares to But
it's almost like going on a trip, like when you're
when you go on a trip with someone and they're like,
you know, they're in a great mood. You're in a
great mood, like the group's vibe, and like you canna
have a good time in golf, like the guy you're

playing with us and playing very well, you're not playing
very well, like Victor Hoblin him, like neither roy or
Victor of Hovlin played well. And and and then those are
two guys who go wing into I believe the last
day we're leading, and it's I almost also wonder like
does that play a big like factor into how those
guys are gonna end up playing or being able to
you like, make a run in the final day, Like
how the guy you're playing with it some impact, and

the guy who really has a few behind you, he
ends up sneaking up and find a way of playing
a better round. Yes, what does he have to lose
at that point, he wasn't leading coming into it. And
I think Rory missed a shot at part. I think
he was he missed a shot at a birdie on eighteen,
and I think the difference between that would have been
I think because the difference in earnings for this tournament,

which people look at the person, so it would have
been like two hundred fifty thousand dollars. Yeah, I think
it's about right because he ended up making a little
less than a million, and then Cameron, you made one point. Yeah,
so if you split it, it's like about two and
a half million dollars. So basically that putt right. There
was two hundred fifty thousand, two hundred fifty thousand dollars

for Rory McRoy that he missed. Um So, and you
just look at some of the prizes. It's just it's interesting.
Cameron Smith wins this tournament, he gets two and a
half million dollars. And you've pointed this out before, like
there's a big misconception with what these guys at actually
get because you'll see the purse and the purse is
fourteen million, but it's split all the way down for

About these two. The best part was so I forget
what day we have to have it on um. But
he gets dropped off at of Mercedes right at like
the player entrance and he's got like a backwards hat

he walks in at this point he's leading the tournament,
because I think he was leading after like the first
day or two. They have to scan his landyard like
they don't know who Cameron Smith is, the guy who's

Andrew's like where golf is like invented. It's like, my god,
Like do these guys really need like you think it's

gonna be some like fake Cameron Smith that walks in
that looks like that. I just that blew my mind.
I'm like this Tiger Woods have to get scanned into
when he goes into the Open or like his Tiger good,
we do we know Tiger at this point? Have you guys?
Did you guys play without Australian before, did you any
of you guys have a teammate was Australian? Okay, have
you ever heard of an Australian that was an a hole?

Like I just I just always every time you hear them,
like they're either drinking beer out of a shoe or
cracking a joke or busting somebody's balls. Like every time
I hear about an Australian prayer, they just seemed cool
and and he just seems cool, just totally relaxed, like

retires his old old line coach who coached forever, Josh McDaniels,
who has served two stints now he's the head coach
with the Raiders. In fact, like at this point it
might be that Patricia Joe Judge Colin plays. We don't
even know, so I think when you look at it
from that standpoint and how how much turnover their staff
has has had, even though I do believe they have

the second best roster in that well maybe next to Miami.
Those two are both pretty good, but you'd have to
say it's the greatest division win he's had. All things considered,
I think they can win the division, and and not
because there a great team. I think they can win
the division because it's a division that has to be

taken from them and and I think that that's the
biggest thing sometimes, the fair factor, the big brother factor
as they say in the a f C North with
with the Steelers, um, it just has to be taken away.
And and yes, there are a lot of subtractions, and
they are a very different team than what they have
been during the course of their their time of being dominant.

But they're still the Patriots, and that's still Bill Belichick.
And and until that changes, then you know, for me,
I'm just gonna go off of the mystique of it
all and just say because it's not the strongest of divisions.
I mean, you're looking at Miami, are you confident that

the Jets, are they gonna be okay? Then who's the
last one? Buffalo? I mean, yeah, now they can't win
by not a week away. You know, football starts today
for some rookies going to training camp as rookie Bills,

the Raiders as well, which I don't miss that at all.
I mean it's rookies, it's not the veterans. But still
it starts, man, that I feel like it's gotten early
in earlier. Well, you know, when I we did the

you say that because when we went to eat, so

so they take you to the place you're gonna eat.
And when we walked into the place we were going
to eat, it was a buffet. It was buffet. It

to training camp. I was like, God, I do not
miss training camp, man, I don't miss it at all.
So when I hear people say checking in for training camp,
I get like this weird sick feeling anxiety. Bro, I
get this weird sick feeling man um. So the reason

I asked the Patriots question because I thought this is
kind of interesting. Mac Jones is talking about how you know,
he's slim and trim and in shape and he worked
on his diet, etcetera. Okay, they're not even they're not
even coming close, but they could be a wild card team.
So Miami's picked to finish ahead of New England according
to draft Kings and to even make the playoffs, Like

there are two to one underdog to make the playoffs.
So so you've got to lay two hundred dollars to

earlier that day with holy water out of the Stanley Cup,

I know, there you go. Yeah. I made the mistake
of sitting next to a water slide at a kid's
birthday party, and I didn't think the kids were actually
gonna because they weren't big kids. And I didn't realize
one of the kids looked like a linebacker compared to

I got absolutely destroyed, wiped out, phone, wet, everything, just

want to poke holes in this story? Are you gonna

for Macedonia. Yes, I will, Yeah, good contective, Oh listen,
why not? You know it'll be Uh, there's nothing shows
not It leaves no stone unturned here. And also how
if there were like we're watching television, I wonder if

you know, that ball might not have done the job.
But you know what's fascinating, how many hours was eighteen hours?

basically holding onto that football because you let go of that,

given that football a lot more credit than what he
should be. He might have been able to stay in

And what was his body composition? You know that body

little bit like you know, they know what they want
to eat. They might take a nip out of you,

he might have been a bigger guy. You know, it's

was just really trying to drag the story out because

Cameron Smith wanted I just think because it's not like
Rory played bad. I think he had he wanted two
birdies and the rest for pars So it wasn't he
wasn't bad. He just Cameron Smith was was unbelievable. He

shot an eight under in the final round, which I think,
if I'm not mistaken, is tied for the Yeah, the
best score in the final round of any major. I
don't put that on Roy mclroy. This guy I just
found a groove and Rory had no answers for it.
It's just what's funny is that Roy didn't even finish
on the top two. Like that's like that's the funny
part about all this and I and Cameron Smith playing

the way he did. It's just, you know, it's it's
a little bit ironic that Rory McElroy shot his mouth
off and was very talkative and then melted down if
you want to call it that in the final round.
But I just think Cameron Smith outplayed him and and
got it done on that course. Well, they're just ripping
the live tour. It's the same. Like everybody's got a
comment about the live tour? Are you do you think

it's I would rather see if we're playing a major
and it's the final round, I would rather see these
guys struggle than go out there and shoot twenty unders,
eighteen unders, seventeen unders. Like I just feel like it
came across as maybe it was a little too easy.
I would just rather see difficult circumstances for those guys.
Still does he still wear a hat when he's on

on the course. I think so he got eliminated free. Okay,
did he make the cut? No he did not, Dude.
I don't think people understand like he didn't have big
calves before, but after the accident, like he has no calf,

I get made fun of all the time for how
little my legs are compared to my upper body. That's
like a young thing, though, who makes fun of them anymore? Um? Like,

let's go back to golf. No, But like Philip philosophically,
I just I find it interesting because even in the
three like if going back to football, you know I've
watched and go, okay, like New England won that. Like
like like you could say Atlanta, you know, made some
poor decisions or didn't execute, but in New England won that.
Like the bottom lines, I've always viewed it that way.

I don't feel like, you know, you've get someone who
kind of fumbles something that there's very rare circumstances I
should say where I don't try to give credit to
the victor right as opposed to saying, well, that team
just gave it away. It's like, no, dude, like that's
that's how the game was played. Like give credit to
the team that one that came back to be able
to do that, and that's again kind of what Jonas
(10:20):
point out, like Cameron Smith just played better the final day.
I mean, the odd thing I think in golf and
I feel like this happens sometimes is and I'm trying
to think of another sport that really compares to But
it's almost like going on a trip, like when you're
when you go on a trip with someone and they're like,
you know, they're in a great mood. You're in a
great mood, like the group's vibe, and like you canna
have a good time in golf, like the guy you're

playing with us and playing very well, you're not playing
very well, like Victor Hoblin him, like neither roy or
Victor of Hovlin played well. And and and then those are
two guys who go wing into I believe the last
day we're leading, and it's I almost also wonder like
does that play a big like factor into how those
guys are gonna end up playing or being able to
you like, make a run in the final day, Like
how the guy you're playing with it some impact, and

the guy who really has a few behind you, he
ends up sneaking up and find a way of playing
a better round. Yes, what does he have to lose
at that point, he wasn't leading coming into it. And
I think Rory missed a shot at part. I think
he was he missed a shot at a birdie on eighteen,
and I think the difference between that would have been
I think because the difference in earnings for this tournament,

which people look at the person, so it would have
been like two hundred fifty thousand dollars. Yeah, I think
it's about right because he ended up making a little
less than a million, and then Cameron, you made one point. Yeah,
so if you split it, it's like about two and
a half million dollars. So basically that putt right. There
was two hundred fifty thousand, two hundred fifty thousand dollars

for Rory McRoy that he missed. Um So, and you
just look at some of the prizes. It's just it's interesting.
Cameron Smith wins this tournament, he gets two and a
half million dollars. And you've pointed this out before, like
there's a big misconception with what these guys at actually
get because you'll see the purse and the purse is
fourteen million, but it's split all the way down for

whoever makes Yeah, that's why. A pretty interesting looking fella too.
About these two. The best part was so I forget
what day we have to have it on um. But
he gets dropped off at of Mercedes right at like
the player entrance and he's got like a backwards hat

and he had a lanyard on and as soon as
he walks in at this point he's leading the tournament,
because I think he was leading after like the first
day or two. They have to scan his landyard like
they don't know who Cameron Smith is, the guy who's

Andrew's like where golf is like invented. It's like, my god,
Like do these guys really need like you think it's

gonna be some like fake Cameron Smith that walks in
that looks like that. I just that blew my mind.
I'm like this Tiger Woods have to get scanned into
when he goes into the Open or like his Tiger good,
we do we know Tiger at this point? Have you guys?

of you guys have a teammate was Australian? Okay, have
you ever heard of an Australian that was an a hole?

I hear about an Australian prayer, they just seemed cool

retires his old old line coach who coached forever, Josh McDaniels,
who has served two stints now he's the head coach
with the Raiders. In fact, like at this point it
might be that Patricia Joe Judge Colin plays. We don't
even know, so I think when you look at it
from that standpoint and how how much turnover their staff
has has had, even though I do believe they have

the second best roster in that well maybe next to Miami.
Those two are both pretty good, but you'd have to
say it's the greatest division win he's had. All things considered,
I think they can win the division, and and not
because there a great team. I think they can win
the division because it's a division that has to be

taken from them and and I think that that's the
biggest thing sometimes, the fair factor, the big brother factor
as they say in the a f C North with
with the Steelers, um, it just has to be taken away.
And and yes, there are a lot of subtractions, and
they are a very different team than what they have
been during the course of their their time of being dominant.

But they're still the Patriots, and that's still Bill Belichick.
And and until that changes, then you know, for me,
I'm just gonna go off of the mystique of it
all and just say because it's not the strongest of divisions.

the Jets, are they gonna be okay? Then who's the
last one? Buffalo? I mean, yeah, now they can't win
by not a week away. You know, football starts today
for some rookies going to training camp as rookie Bills,

I mean it's rookies, it's not the veterans. But still
it starts, man, that I feel like it's gotten early

And when we walked into the place we were going

miss training camp, man, I don't miss it at all.
So when I hear people say checking in for training camp,
I get like this weird sick feeling anxiety. Bro, I

I asked the Patriots question because I thought this is
kind of interesting. Mac Jones is talking about how you know,
he's slim and trim and in shape and he worked
on his diet, etcetera. Okay, they're not even they're not
even coming close, but they could be a wild card team.
So Miami's picked to finish ahead of New England according
to draft Kings and to even make the playoffs, Like

there are two to one underdog to make the playoffs.
So so you've got to lay two hundred dollars to
win a hundred for them to miss the playoffs. You know,
it's crazy though. The interesting thing the scenario that you're
explaining right now, somebody's got to lose. And when I
mean by that, if Miami doesn't at least finished second,

then you gotta assume that to out right. If if
and if New England gets in as a wild card
team and and they you know, or maybe if they
don't make it in I don't know, maybe there's no
because the a f C West, you're gonna get at
least two teams in, I would, I would say from

the a f C West, like those teams are loaded,
and who knows, maybe you get three in Like the NFC,
the divisional winner is going to get in from from that,
I just think it's gonna be really hard. Like look
at the a f C North. I mean, Baltimore is
gonna bounce back. I mean, you know, who knows what
with the Sean, but Cincinnati was just in the Super
Bowl Pittsburgh could could get you know good again. Possibly.

gash had to go to the emergency room, needed stitches.

But I do find it ironic that he was baptized
earlier that day with holy water out of the Stanley Cup,
and it's like soon after. It's a very similar that
you would think from hockey like. It was a very
like you were like, oh, this is like a hockey gash.
I think it's prophetic and I think it's pointing into

the future. He should be a hockey player. Can I
Can I ask you a question though about this baptism
in the Stanley Cup. Bait been baptized before, No, so,
so he called his shot. He said, I will baptize
them when I went a Stanley Cup, just assuming he

of sitting next to a water slide at a kid's
birthday party, and I didn't think the kids were actually
gonna because they weren't big kids. And I didn't realize
one of the kids looked like a linebacker compared to

I got absolutely destroyed, wiped out, phone, wet, everything, just

so yeah, poor planning on my part, that's all I got. Yeah,
