Adventures from the Road. We've got another edition of incase
(00:21):
you missed it. We are being crushed by one fan
base for something we said on the show on Friday,
and were also got the b Q News and F
S R I R and it's all yours coming up
next here, Two Pros and a Cup of Joe on
a Monday, Fox Sports Radio. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
(00:42):
So it is the most wonderful time of year. Can
you believe it? It is almost here and it starts
this week. We will get into that here coming up
in just a couple of moments from now. It is
two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here on
FS are can hang out with us as always on
the I Heart Radio app. You can find us on
(01:03):
hundreds of affiliates all across the country and wherever the
hell you are making us a part of your Monday morning.
We appreciate you doing so we're gonna take you all
the way up until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific,
so we will be connecting with LaVar Arrington and Brady
Quinn who have got some wild stories to be told.
LaVar Arrington walking around these streets of Wyoming with a
(01:23):
belt buckle you could see from outer space this weekend,
we're gonna get all the details on that. Brady Quinn
has reportedly a travel story from his time with the
family over the weekend. It's gonna be a lot of fun.
So we will get into that discussion with you here
on Fox Sports Radio coming up as soon as we
connect with those guys. So it is a training camp week.
(01:44):
We have got NFL players reporting to camp. I saw
a video of some guy in Buffalo dressed up like
Josh Allen reporting to camp. But unfortunately this guy is
like seventy years old. So a lot of fun stuff
and a lot of wild things to be had. Here's
the good news. Are well a couple a couple of
pieces of good news, all right. Number one, we don't
have a whole hell of a lot on Deshaun Watson today,
(02:05):
all right, So there's the good news. Piece of good
news number one, because we don't really have an update.
We've been hearing for a while now that this is
this could be sort of the week that everything goes down.
We had we had heard that about last week, the
week before, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. But we don't have confirmation
on anything when it goes to Deshaun Watson. But we
do have confirmation that the NFL season is right around
(02:27):
the corner because Brady Quinn. We have got training camp
week underway. Guys are reporting to camp, Guys are saying
by to their families. Football's right around the corner. You
can smell it, Training campus underway, baby. I love it.
For the fans. It was one of those things as
a player, though, you're like, all right, we really have
to do this, like we really need to go away
(02:47):
for three weeks, Like this is some galvinizing opportunity with
the team all gets pushed to the edge and they
all come together. It's changed so much over the past
two decades. I mean, you don't even have true two
A days anymore. It's just the whole thing is now
it's almost like you're really just going away to to
(03:09):
have the focus um, away from your families, away from
other stuff for about three weeks as you head into
the season. But I hate to like be a party
pooper here, but it's just it's like, all right, like
there's guys who are, you know, practicing preparing to try
to make the team, but for the most part they
know who's gonna make the roster and who's not. And
(03:31):
all the material you're going over it's the exact same
stuff you did an O T S in minicamp. There's
no difference. So the hard thing for me with training camps,
as pumped up as we get about it, the excitement
over hard knocks, I just go, uh, it's just it's
not what it used to be. Like you used to
have those long, grueling days where guys were actually doing
(03:53):
two days where you were hitting both days, where you
physically woke up. Granted this is back more in like
high school form, but when when I mean even in
the NFL, like you would see guys who literally just
physically couldn't handle it anymore. But again, even back then,
like oh seven, we still didn't even have like the
two days, two days, two days. It was like a
(04:14):
two day, one day scenario. They got rid of all
that stuff. So it's it's it's not what it used
to be like long like LaVar probably played back far
enough where they probably had consecutive two of days when
he got in the NFL. By the time I got
in the NFL, that was gone. I mean in college,
I think that we had two true two days. But
(04:35):
then even the day after that, you still only had
one a day. They didn't throw them all together like
they used to. You had three or days as well,
you know you do, you do too, And you did
have consecutive two days. Yeah, and then and then not
every once in a while you'd have a three day
where you went and you did uh special teams in
the evening and and so you had actually had three
(04:58):
three practices. I mean, I've think the one thing that
people you know don't don't realize is how many meetings
take place. You know, how how little time you have,
so many meetings, so many meetings. It's like we're flying
to the moon. It's like it's it's not that hard.
So you guys need to tell me, all right, because
we are living vicariously through you guys at training camp.
(05:20):
You need to tell me that a lot of this
stuff maybe wasn't necessary. Is that what you're telling me?
I was always like watching everyone go to like, you know,
in Kansas City, we went down to uh Or, we
went up I think the college just north of us.
We'd move in and we have all these expenses everything else,
And I was like, why are we spending all this money?
People really nice facility. Can't you like put us up
(05:42):
at a hotel near the facility? We just go there?
Like why did we Why do we feel the need
to have to go off to some of their college
in order to do this when our facility hotel on
the been just fine. But yeah, no, there's definitely no
need for all of it. Honestly, I mean, my I
don't know. I don't mean to put like, you know,
damping the whole spirit. Everyone get excited about trading camp,
(06:03):
but it's it's it's not what it used to be,
like it used to be something where and again, LaVar,
you can speak to this more as a defensive player
because you were begging every day, like you guys probably
dreaded it to some degree, or maybe you're just really
excited for it. Wanted the two. I think both. I
think you were really excited for it until you were
we're doing all of the you know, the grueling aspects
(06:27):
that came along with it. I mean it usually, I
mean you you would assume training camp, weed it out
the week and and you know it's it's it's like
you could see you could see how people were impacted
mentally and emotionally. You know, physical part of it. You know,
(06:49):
everybody's got to deal with the mental and the just
a where you're at. You know, when when you're you're
in week two and and you're and you're in practice
number two and it's and it's nineties some plus degrees.
I mean, if if you're not mentally prepared, you start
(07:14):
to see it in people, You start to see and
and you know, when you think about it, I don't
know if it was you know, I don't I don't
know that it was really about anything else other than
could you maintain your focus to be you know, a starter?
(07:35):
Could you could you maintain your focus to perform? Because
you did have to perform in the practices, and I
could just recall, you know, you would have to perform, perform, perform, perform,
and and and in the pros. You you know, you're
preparing for a game sooner I would I would assume
(07:57):
you started a little earlier your your paring for like
those the preseason. You might have an inner squad, you know,
exhibition where you have practice together, things like that, And
and I couldn't wait to see another uniform, you know,
I just could not wait. By the time you get
(08:19):
hitting each other, oh my gosh. I mean that's where
that's where camp fights start out, right, Like you get
guys who are just tired of hitting each other every day,
and you see it means as a quarterback, it's just
you just it's more about throwing the football around and
all that. But I mean, honestly, Jonas, I think it's
more for the fans. Like I think it's got to
the point where it's more about the fans um than
(08:41):
than this galvanizing process where the team comes together. You know,
it's like, oh, no one gets any water, no to
take another wind sprit, no one gets I mean, no
one even really conditions like that anymore. You know, like
I love, I couldn't see color. One year. Everything turned
everything like the movie Colors with pac Man. Everything turned
(09:04):
like white and gray Man. I ended up having They
took me talking about this true story and the like
I was getting heat exhaustion. Yeah, back in time. It
could only watch TV. I could only see him black
and white on everything I love. And they had to
(09:24):
they had to take me into the hospital. And I
think they gave me five bags of of ivy fluid.
You know, I was, I was like locked where they
put those bags? Yeah, in my arm. Yeah. Have you
ever seen someone do the double ivy? No? But they
put me on arms, backed up on both arms, backed
(09:46):
both arms, rocket fuel and then and then well, I'm
not gonna say, I was gonna say. I think we're going,
We're going. Where are we going? My body? Your best though.
I want to hear about LaVar's Cowboys. Yeah, come on,
la bar hey. Let I mentioned this at the start
of the show. A belt buckle you could see from
(10:08):
outer space. All right, let's let's hear. Let's hear about
the protect to protect innocent women and children. Oh my god,
superhero with that shield, Come on the bar. Let's have
two I had to belt buckles, and they're expensive to
two hundred dollars man two for a belt buckle. Jonas,
(10:31):
I mean, listen, I don't I don't chop in Wyoming.
I don't know what inflation, nor are the hats. They're
not cheap, man, Um, it was. It was an awesome
experience like I've seen I've seen a rodeo before, but
to be at the largest one in the in the country,
(10:52):
um was pretty It was pretty phenomenal. Man. Did you
write anything you brought a horse anything? No? But it
was it was wild watching it in person though, Man,
I mean especially the you know, the bulldog and the
calve down the little bulls down to the ground. You know,
I'm looking at down like man outside of righting now
(11:14):
the horse. I would have liked to mix it up
that way, you know. But they yeah, but you ride
so fast to get to it, like I wouldn't have
been able to do that, like to get off the horse,
get onto the bull like. I would have rather like
just stand on the on the ground, y'all, let the
bull run out and and I probably would have got
(11:36):
ran over. But in my mind, in my mind, I
would have been like, man, I would have got a
hold of that little bull and I would have bulldogging
down to the ground and and I would have looked
at the crowd and I would have turned around and
would have been like, oh, you're not entertained. Yeah, that
was I thinking in my head. But it's pretty wild
watching them cowboys and cowgirls do their thing. Man. I
(11:59):
really did enjoy myself. I'm not gonna what do they
gotta do? They gotta stay on for eight seconds? Is
that the amount of time? Well, you're talking about riding. Um,
I was talking about taking them down, like you know,
you gotta jump off your horse and then jump onto
a little little stair and take them down. But I
mean the bull riding. That's crazy because they were just
(12:20):
talking about how much we were actually able to go
down to the shoots where they were at. I didn't
go because everybody kept saying more people got pink eye
than COVID, you know, at the last one. And this
story doesn't go any further than that comment. Second, are
(12:43):
like people more people because the cows are farting on people.
It's because of the bulls were slinging, you know, slinging
that that pps. You know, they got that ps. Hold on,
a second, hold on. So they're they're flinging crap around
and so because of that, pink eye just runs rampant
(13:04):
like that's like a common occurrence. Apparently it gets gets
pretty messy. I mean, so no one's wearing respects to
protect a rise from pink I think people were wearing sunglasses.
I think everybody knew to wear sunglasses. I just night.
You can't wear your sunglasses at night. This isn't This
(13:25):
isn't like a club where you're putting out the vibe.
It wasn't dark that they were over by four four pm.
I was pitching them doing this like a night you
know your horse cowboy. Yeah, No, it wasn't that night.
It was Nope, But I didn't go down there. But
(13:46):
I'll tell you, if you've ever seen a riding bull, um,
it's like two different It's like take one massive piece
of muscle that goes all the way from front back
and then you slap together another another side of muscles.
And that's how I used to feel. Yeah, it's pretty impressive.
(14:12):
They're pretty impressive, man. And they were there muscle at
some point. Eventually a ball of muscle that you're putting
spurs in the side of it to try and get
it to get worked up. And Hank took and fling
some pink iron in the place. You aren't putting spurs
(14:32):
in it. You know what they do to get them going, guys,
they poke them with what like well something like that.
But but we opened up talking about the Bills training camps.
A guy dressed like Josh there there they irritable oss act.
(14:54):
They irritate them with poking of the that place all
and they get irritate like they balls and they get
that I didn't. Okay, that makes some sense. They don't
get when you feel like they're you're like punching the
stomach and you can't move for a second. Will they start,
(15:17):
you know, crapping and all kinds of stuff, like all
kinds of and then they release them and then they come, yeah,
it's all on their button, it's all over the place.
And then they let them. And they told me this
because I would have went to a rodeo before this
story and now now I'm out. It's not Hey, kids,
(15:40):
well you can't see it if you're a spectator. If
you're if they take you down like you know we had,
you know, we had all access. Yeah, and I didn't
want to do it. I was. I stayed in the
little little sweet, I stayed in the you know, in
like the shade. I didn't want. It was like degrees
out there. A long island, yeah of course, yeah, we fisting, yeah, fisting.
(16:05):
I have modello in one hand and a long island
and another Friday would make you a long island there.
I'm surprised. Like we got beer, we got whiskey. That's it. Yeah,
Well it took it took some finding. You know, they
were they were um taking care of me. It wasn't
like that was they had mixers and all that stuff available.
(16:27):
They were they were figuring. They don't seem like the
type that would have like mixers, like there were full
but there were full full bars in and around. So
there were places where you could get them, but you
just had to walk really far. And I felt really
bad when people took that long ass walk just to
make sure that I could double fist my MODELO and
(16:47):
my my my long island. But yet I did with
with just risking pink eye, watching animals get poked in
the balls to get them to run a little harder,
and uh, and you they weren't running. They were they
were with with with two giant bell buckles. I mean,
what a run. He took the picture. Yeah, I saw
(17:09):
the picture. I was I was in you know, I
was in full mode. Man, you look good. Man. I'm
not gonna lie. You look good in full mode. I
ain't gonna glad to you. I appreciate the higher thing
going on. And it's funny man, to to the accents.
You know, it was like, Man, I fit in. You know,
I've been told I have a Southern draw and and
(17:33):
so I felt at home to you. Come on, it
was working. It was at work. I gotta tell you.
The first time I went to a live country concert
country music concert, man, and it was freaking awesome. Man,
we were right there. I don't remember that, I don't remember.
(17:56):
It's sad about that is if someone went and saw
join us before once and they're just like play and
they say, I don't know who cares, it's a forgettable moment.
I don't blame well. I'm just saying like, like you
were in that position when you were up there singing
your heart out for the love of music, and next
thing you know, you got some some guy walking into
the cowboy outfit, just saying yeah, I went to a
(18:16):
concert who played yeah tough balls. You know. Ever, somebody's
gonna be the undercard, so you know that's that's the
way that stuff works. But training camp, man, it is
back to that. Oh man, by the way, were I
don't mean to like right on the parade of training camp,
(18:38):
but I really do feel like it was more about
the fans. Like it's you know, you just wanted to
get the games, like you wanted to get the games
as soon as you could because you feel like you're like,
all right, we're going through this again. Here we go,
same installed from day one. O T S. How long?
How long is college training camp? Is it two weeks? Um? No,
it's it's it's about the same length. It's about three weeks.
(18:58):
So it's so college any camps coming up here if
I mean pretty quick? Cod Like, like I would actually
say college training camp was more meaningful because A it's
more developmental sport. B You've got like this feeling out
of like what's a roster gonna be? Like in the NFL,
we can talk about guys making the roster not but
(19:19):
like the truth of the matter is guys like about
of your rosters made because their contracts. There's like the
back ten percent that you're looking at that are fighting
for those roster spots. Honestly, it's probably practice squad that
comes to deploy. But in college, like you have some
legit like battles that like you're trying to see who's
gonna step up. Four star, five star, doesn't matter. And
(19:40):
then you don't even have a preseason game, so like
you can't even get to a game to display anything.
Like you've got scrimmages, you've got live scenarios. That's it.
Like I would, I would actually, now that I'm thinking
about it, go back and say, like I think it
was more important to college football players than it was
to NFL. It's two pros and a cup of Joe
(20:01):
here on Fox Sports Radio, brought to you by Discover.
We could talk about how complicated other banks make it
to redeem credit card rewards, or we could talk about
how we discover you can redeem your rewards for cash
in any amount at any time. I mean, talk about
amazing learn more discover dot com slash redeem rewards terms apply. Alright,
so we're gonna have the usuals coming up later on
another edition of In case you missed it, We got
the fs R, I R, we got the b Q News.
(20:21):
All of it is yours on this three hours extravaganza.
Coming up next though, we do have an interesting situation
that could be developing in the NFL. One of the
best teams in the league, somebody may not be there
for very much longer. We'll get into that for you
right here on fs ARE. Be sure to catch live
editions of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with
(20:42):
Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week days at
six am Easter three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio
and the I Heart Radio. Take it. This wasn't at
the country concert, lavarab Um. This is something Yeah, wow,
(21:05):
it is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox
Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knocks with you
here on fs ARE. Coming up later on this hour
if we if you wanted proof that some people actually
listen to this show, we got it because there was
a piste off fan base over the weekend. We will
have that discussion with you coming up again about twenty
(21:26):
minutes from now on FS You describe that fan base
as a fan of like one sport or how would
you describe that. I don't. I'm really confused by it.
Just just the I do appreciate all the comments that
you were getting up though there was a couple of
things that need to be correct. Yeah, I don't. I
was called out, and I want to make sure that
everyone's aware exactly where I stand on a certain subcod
(21:50):
that's gonna be. We'll have some fun with that coming
up later on. Um So, Sean McVeigh was talking, uh,
you know, over the weekend about his situation with the
l A Rams or excuse me, a few days ago
with the l A. Rams. He was talking about just
contractually kind of where he stands, because the assumption was
that if he's not going to do TV when and
that was floated out there, and he is going to
(22:12):
come back to the Rams, that there would probably be
a new contract that would be signed and or at
least some sort of an agreement. Seems like Aaron Donald
got his new deal, Matt Stafford got an extension. Sean
McVeigh talked about where he stands as far as the
new contract goes. This was the Ram said, coach, we're
in a good place. You know, I think the goal
in mind when you guys have talked to Kevin about
that Gary was you know, myself and Less being a
(22:35):
pair where when we get that thing finalize, you guys
will know, but feel really good about the direction that
that's going. And you know, I think it'll be you know,
something that where it'll be me and Less and you
guys will know when that is finalized for us. Would
you have to say that happens before I would you
know what? I wouldn't want to put a timetable on it,
but I'd say, you know, more than likely. But but again,
these things can kind of drag on, as we all know.
(22:56):
But I do feel really good about the direction and
all the conversations that have been had as it relates
to myself. Unless, Okay, what the hell do I know?
Maybe I'm oversimplifying things, But does it take this long
to get a contract extension? None? For a coach who
just won a Super Bowl has it in the past, Like,
is this and this isn't his first deal? This is
(23:17):
his second one? Right? Think so? And then the other
thing is I think what made it interesting or complicated
or maybe it has has caused both him and the
Rams to rethink all this is whatever the hell happened
after the Super Bowl. I mean, look, I'll put it
this way. There wasn't just smoke, Okay, there was like
(23:39):
it was billowing smoke of his potential interest in going
into TV and taking a break. There was a lot
of thoughts and a lot of reports that are out
there that this was something that Sean McVeigh was seriously considering.
I wonder what that landscape looks like for his future.
Now it ain't there, Like I'm sorry, but I mean,
(24:00):
unless you're gonna bump out Tony Romo or Troy Aikman
or Chris Collinsworth or eventually Tom Brady, who's who's signed
as as I agreed upon a deal with Fox in
the future, which I could always that could always change.
But unless one of those spots comes open, I don't
(24:22):
know that it's there for him anymore. And so I
do wonder how that potentially has changed either his perspective
or even the rams perspective and just all that interest
where at some point they I mean they have to
be aware of it, thinking themselves, okay, like we could
not only lose him to just maybe wanting to take
a break and retire something else, or you know, if
(24:43):
there'd be another place he'd want to go, although I
don't think there's another team he'd rather be at in
the Los Angeles Rams, like, I think that's his squad.
I think it's just about now making sure he doesn't
get burnt out and making sure he doesn't become a
guy who you know, no longer can can thrive the
way he can because he's energy guy. I mean, I
feel like, I mean, you guys are around it, like
(25:04):
you see him probably more than the media. He's a
high energy guy. It's hard to continue to do that
year after year after year. Any guy who's like that
usually takes a break or usually steps back for a
minute and does something else and then probably comes back
to the game. I've I personally thought he sounded content
with with where he's at um in terms of coaching,
(25:27):
in terms of hitting into the season, what that what
that looks like in in in terms of his financial
you know, forecast for for a contract. I mean and
and and when I say content, I mean it sounds
as though whatever conversations he's having, he feels confident that
(25:48):
he's going to be you know, taking care of compensated
fairly and and and it seems like he was speaking
with uh, like I said, I think that level of confidence.
I felt like I could hear it in his voice
and and and sometimes you can hear people like I made.
The example is so funny, um that they made it
(26:09):
a promo for for the show. But you know people
oh and all when they don't when they're not confident
about what they're saying, you know, it's like, oh, you know,
we might hold on, hold on, do the sound again? Uh, well,
we we wait, may get you know, we may get
(26:32):
something done. Like when you start sounding like you've hit
a glitch in your in your like human system and
you can't speak clearly when you otherwise speak clear there's
something that you're you want to you want to be
careful not to say something wrong. You want to be
careful not to say something that's gonna pop back up
(26:55):
on you later on. And I just didn't get that
from him. I didn't get that he was being cautious
or measured in the way that he answered. It just
sounds like he was answering the question and and he
felt like it probably would get done before the season.
But if it didn't. I don't think it made it didn't.
(27:17):
I just didn't get the idea that that it would
be that big of a deal to him because of
the conversations, Like, I think whatever it is that they're
talking about, they're in a good place. That's what it
sounded like to me. Is Sean McVeigh the head coach
of the Rams two years from now? Yes, because where's
he going? I just don't, well, I look, maybe something
(27:40):
opens up broadcasting wise. Maybe that's you know, if he's
looking at that aspect of it in media. And there
there were talks that he was going to meet with
Amazon or he had some meetings set up with with
uh UM that they were gonna when they got the
Thursday Night package, that was gonna be an opportunity. But
as you mentioned, all those have dried up. I just
wonder he floated out not wanting to stick around before this.
(28:02):
I think it was before the Super Bowl, not wanting
to stick around and all that, and we talked about, Okay,
could this be a leverage play that maybe Yeah. Donald
said the same thing, but Aaron Donald didn't have a
TV job way for him, and Aaron Donald also got
his contract extension. I just if he wants to be.
Bill floated it out there, and I think that for
what it's the first circumstances. I promise you two different circumstances.
(28:27):
I get it. And and even if the circumstances are different,
they still both floated out there that they might leave.
I mean, I think once they started talking about like
they were going to come back, you know, or you
know mcvasion if if Aaron comes back, I'm coming back,
I think he said at one point time. I think
they just a lot of things said after that. The
(28:49):
drunken Uh yeah, that's who knows. Who means what they say.
You know, I tend to be an old school guy
that takes people kind of face value for the things
that they say. You know, if you say I'm bringing
my own towel, you're bringing your own town, believe that,
and I'm gonna take you out value for that. If
you say that you're coming back to coach, then I'm
(29:11):
taking that face value that you're going to come back
to coach. You're a cowboy, you're a handshake guy. You know,
I take it for his word, you know, old school cowboy.
But you're I mean, you guys are right. I mean,
deception is a part of pro athletics. You know, sometimes
it makes sense, sometimes it doesn't. I don't know. I
tend to think that he wanted to come back, That's
(29:34):
what it's and he's he's okay with coming back right
now at least that's what it sounded like. Well, he
he just got married, So all this well for Sean mcvah,
I mean, good for him. You know, Lamart fan of
them on I'm more of a fan of him on
that than I am of his coach and accolade. You know,
he's got good He's a man. He's a man with
a good eye. His eyes, his eyes work, his eyes.
(29:59):

if I'm not sitting on a stack of hay while
this song is playing? Good God? The hell is this? Man?
This is your jam? Labar You've changed ever since you
got back from Wyoming. You change, man, change. It's if
(31:32):
you know me? You know me right? Gay country music?
You know those to my to my main deals. It's
two pros and a cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio,
by the way, coming up top of next hour the
Football You know it could be changing here very soon
with some updates to some teams and some alignment, etcetera, etcetera.
(31:54):
So will have that conversation with you right here on
FS are right now though it is time for something.
We do everything a day at this time and it's
called this. Sometimes you can't get to everything in the
world of sports or entertainment. Good thing. The guys are
here to bring you in case you missed it, and
for that we turned it over to our executive producer
(32:14):
Lee Do do lap everybody, in case you missed it.
Last week we had a previewed the friendly between Byron
Munich and Manchester City at lambau Field and we uh
we low balled the numbers. The estimate numbers. According to
the Green Bay Press Gazette, over seventy eight thousand fans
showed up to lambeau Field for this game. By the way,
the people on on Twitter that we're so worked up.
(32:39):
I don't even I didn't. I forgot the game was on.
I didn't remember that we even talked about it. I said,
what is this even about? And then I recalled, oh,
did we mentioned that briefly? Like how much time do
we spend on that, Lee? Like fifteen seconds? Yeah, it
was on the topic, just about yes, I mean, come
and by the way, I need confirmation those were actual
human beings that were in that stadium out of cardboard.
(33:01):
Hey that blow up dolls? I mean I just didn't
In your defense, we've seen it before, so what would
stop a stadium from doing it again? C G I
I'm sorry, it was it was a part of COVID.
We started putting up cardboard cutouts places, which I mean
imagine playing in an arena where they're public, in crowd
(33:24):
noise and this cardboard cutouts. Like, what are we doing? Seriously,
what are we doing? I mean, yeah, so can we
let's go ahead and run with that. If that, if
they were piste off about our comments on Friday, let's
run with the fact that we don't believe those were
actual human beings. Those are cardboard cutouts at lambeau Field.
Even I would like to point out one thing, because
someone someone pointed out the fact that I said, to
(33:47):
this question or over under, I think is what we
had at right, I said, I don't care, and I
still stand by that. I really don't. Right, I just
made a joke out of it. It's about cardboard cutouts.
Dollars are right, exactly. I do. And that's the thing
is that was That was what I wanted to bring
up because the guy on Twitter is like, oh, you're
being passive aggressive. That's a fine. I was like, no, bozo,
(34:10):
that's not my fine. Literally, you don't listen to our
show if you did, you know, it's the fact that
it's usually what I say. I don't care about this,
so don't get it. Don't get it twisted. I don't
care whatsoever about the attendance in Green Bay at a
soccer match. I do care that you know our fine system. Okay,
(34:31):
and you're right, that's a ten dollar fine. And let
me tell you something. The person who accused you of that,
they're now find ten dollars. So go donate to a
local charity. If you're gonna speak up, get you speak
correctly next time. All right? And you and your lamboy way.
I love how Packer fans are, like, we show up.
We're great fans. Of course we were going to show up.
What the hell else are you gonna do in Green
(34:52):
Bay on a on a on a Saturday night, You
know what I mean? Seriously, what else did barbecue? Okay?
All right, you shuck some corn? Yeah? You know is
that what they call it's a summertime activity or not.
Don't you shuck oysters? You hust don't you husk corn? Yeah?
I don't know. Yeah, hus because as a course husker. Yeah,
(35:15):
I don't know. Can we get some confirmation from our
friends listening in Nebraska? I know you shuck corn. I
do not know if you shuck oysters? You do you
shuck oysters? Yeah? That's big. This is out of my
range of understanding. I mean you could. What is the
act of shucking? It's like where you do you take
(35:35):
the Yeah you do, that's got to be very careful. Yeah,
it's shucking oysters. That was close. Um, that's what is that?
Where you pick it out? Here's how I know you're
not a Midwest guy, is you're like, no, no, no,
I know it's shucking oysters. Man. Yeah, if you were
from the Midwest, you know what shucking corn is? Which
(35:57):
a percent you shuck corn. Let's go live to our
I know how to chuck inside or lead to laugh
for the latest league, Well, we'll shuck as a verb
is the act of stripping or peeling something. So just
like an oyster, you strip it off for you you
split in the half. You could chuck a banana. That's
a good point. Technically, it's a good point. You can't
(36:19):
chuck a banana and like you can like no, yeah not,
I mean definitely, but that sounds correct. By the way,
look up the video of Garrett Cole eating a banana
and the dug out this weekend. No, no, here's the
three piece. But here's the problem. He opened it up
from the bottom. If you watch it, that's how most
(36:40):
people do. Know they don't they open it from the top. Okay, thing,
I swear why would they do that? Opening up from
what then then opening it from the top. Yeah, I'm
telling you. I've had multiple people telling me this. I
don't abide by that. I always go by the top. Yeah,
some people rather rather try the bottom. It's a little weird.
I hate bananas really. Yeah. My dad forced me to
(37:05):
eat tuna, fish and bananas growing up when I was
drying making the world is not at the same time,
not as a combination. That sounds awful, but that was
all I was able to eat because I was trying
to make make weight. Bananas we'll pull weight on you. Yeah, well,
I had to eat the bananas on Saturday after I
(37:27):
may wait, and I had to eat you know, uh,
tuna fish during during the week when I had to
lose like three or four pounds. Yeah, so I don't
eat what I don't. Yeah, trushed me. Give me a
give me a bullet cheerios and I'll blend them, though
I won't eat them by ourselves. Don't blame honey nut cheerios.
(37:48):
Those are delicious. Not in the milk. Yeah, it's the milk.
I really I I to this day, I don't know
what we wrong, but I've never went back. It was
one of those things where I said, man, I grew
up on cheerios and and that's it. Did you know
this recycles this for the Jonas Knock Show. By the way,
that false advertising, that's that's ten dollars. I'm telling you.
(38:11):
Ever since you got back from Wyoming is just different.
I don't know what cowboys scraps scrap no, guys. In
case you missed it, the XFL announced the location for
their eight teams in the reboot, three newcomers being Vegas,
Orlando and San Antonio, which will be coached by hines Ward.
How about that shines Ward is back? Uh? Are we
(38:35):
ready for the XFL? Is this gonna be uh a
lot of football? And really thought I didn't see Anthony
Bett just the head coach. Slois teams like we're not
going anywhere. It's like, well yeah, until it collapses. It's
you know, you're gonna be there till the ship six
for sure. If it doesn't work out, it's a bummer Ward. Yeah,
(38:58):
good for Haines. Yeah, come Stoops he's coaching the team?
Is he Bob Stoops? Is? How about that for him?
I wonder where his thoughts are on Lincoln Riley love
