Pacific hour into the program. Fired up here. Just Jack
(01:04):
to the gills, all right, So, the Cincinnati Bengals are
the defending a f C champions. They lost the Super
by the way, I watched that Super Bowl? Um like, well, no,
how the hell did they lose that game? They were
in such good shape. I have no I just I
(01:24):
can't figure out how the hell they lost that game.
That's got to be devastating if you're a Bengals fan.
Every Super Bowl they've lost has been in devastating fashion
to bummer Man, you ever think, are you ever grateful
Brady that you grew up a Browns fan and not
a Bengals fan? Um? You ever? I don't even know
how to answer that. I mean, until devastated have had
(01:48):
more of a devastating path than the Bengals, So, I mean,
was the worst question of How about the fact that
are left? It's not like Cincinnatis left. Yeah, but your
Browns have gone on to win a couple of Super
Bowls as Ravens, So like, I mean, what do you
(02:09):
mean aggressive they went on and want a couple of
super Bowls? Can we transition to the actual topic instead
of just ruining my childhood once again? John, Let's let's
do it then. And I don't know why Lebar wanted
me to ask you that. I mean, Lebard texted me
and said, ask Brady this, so okay? I mean, I
guess if if this is how we're gonna do it. Alright.
(02:30):
So Mike Brown, the owner of the Cincinnati Bengals, they
had a luncheon yesterday and he talked about just some
contract situations for the team coming off that Super Bowl appearance.
Here was the Bengals owner. We want to operate our
cap so that we're thinking forward. We know we have
Joe Burrow to figure out at some point soon, and
(02:53):
we have great wide receivers to be part of the offense.
We want to keep that makes it go. Occasionally, it's
not going to be perfect. Someone who have to make
way and make rude. We like Jesse Bays. We want
him to stay and maybe we'll make a deal with
him at the end of the season when we can
(03:14):
talk to him again under the league rules. But there
are a lot of cows at the trough, if you will,
it's not easy to get them all fed to the
way they want. So there it is, uh but you know, um,
so there's no possible way Joe Burrow ends up anywhere else. Correct, Like,
(03:37):
if you're a Bengal fan, you landed, you hit a
home run with your quarterback. He's coming off the injury. Um.
That fact that they're already thinking about long term deal.
This is them recognizing what that let's get it done
sooner rather than later, because it's the price is only
going to go up is significantly based on the past
couple of contracts handed out. It's not that he's your
(03:58):
number one overall pick. Who's I think you hope you'd
be like that, you're done there, like you don't need
to say anymore if it doesn't need to be any
more conversation about anything else, Like they want to extend
them so they can start a future cap planning, continue
to keep building out around him as they have as
they have the past a couple of years, which which
is you know, different for this team. So I think
(04:20):
it's more about that the struggle is going to be
in a family run organization, that they're not going to
have the cash to give them this huge signing bonus
like you see in some of these other contracts. Now,
the guarantees can be can be large, but the signing
bonuses won't be Like go back and look through Ben
Roethlisberger's you know, he didn't have huge signing bonuses in
(04:42):
his contracts. So that's gonna be one of the bigger
differences is they just don't have that the cash that
they're able to throw around to reduce the cap implications.
You know, they're going to have to do, you know,
longer term deals that spread out whatever cap you know,
hit and structure that's going to be through base salary
over X amount of years in order to kind of
(05:03):
make this thing work. But um, it's just the right
thing to do. He took to a Super Bowl in
his second year, is only year fully healthy, and he's
been everything you hoped for. Is the number one overall pick.
They're gonna have a lot of pressure to get it done,
but I think, I mean, he said it, he wants
to get it done. They'll I mean, Joe Burrow isn't
leaving outside of some type of crazy I don't know circumstances.
(05:30):
He's not. He's not going anywhere. Carson Palmer, it would
have to be. It would have to be like a
wild ass fall off man, super wild fall off for him,
not over the next two years, not to end up
with a crazy extension like I just I mean, And
that might be next year, it might be, it might
(05:50):
be two years. I don't know, but I mean he's
not going anywhere. They know what they have in Joe
Burrow there, They'll they'll figure out a way. Now the
question is who who else will be able to stay?
That's of note, UM, but I don't I wouldn't see
them keeping him and not putting players around him, or
keeping players around him if possible, to make sure that
(06:13):
he's able to have the type of success that he
had last season. I think this year is important, though.
I'll tell you that I'm interested to see does Joe
Burrow and does Cincinnati as a team stay where they
are take a step forward or do or or do
we see something different? Keep in mind, Cleveland was was
(06:36):
a feel good story. People were even bold enough to
put them in super Bowl contention last year, and we
know how that ended, and we know how it ended
for for the quarterback as well and Baker Mayfield. So
and I'm not saying that that's that's that's that's an
extreme example, but it's still it's it's a relevant example.
(06:57):
It's tough suvision too. I mean, you would assume that
Baltimore is going to have better injury luck than they
had last year. Lamar Jackson bounce back season, UM, depending
on what happens with Deshaun Watson, and you know who
knows if this, if Kenny Pickett ends up, you know,
being a great pick for the Steelers. Um, I think
Cincinnati could be in for a tough one in that division.
I mean, I'm not even totally convinced that they're going
(07:18):
to be a playoff team this year. I mean, just
based on that division, Like say Deshaun Watson get suspended
four to six games, I mean, it's not ideal, but
we've talked about the early portion of that schedule. If
you can get Deshaun Watson back for the remainder of
the season, that's a team you gotta deal with. Baltimore
as a team you gotta deal with, and then all
the rest of the a f C. I just I
(07:40):
think it's gonna be a lot more difficult path. And
and super Bowl hangovers are a real thing, and it's
hard for teams to get back to that point once
they've lost in that Super Bowl, especially in the devastating
fashion in which they did. As was pointed out earlier
in the segment. I don't know if you guys got
that pointed out earlier in the segment. Um, so do
you how many corps. Let me ask you this, how
many orderbacks young quarterbacks are you taking right now ahead
(08:04):
of Joe Burrow? Like we're talking quarterbacks that are still
on you know, their their rookie contracts. How many do
you go through that you're starting a team right now
that you would take ahead of Joe Burrow. I don't
know that I'm taking any There wouldn't be a reason
to Herbert. I mean, Herbert is the only other one
you could throw into consideration. But there wouldn't be a
reason to take Herbert because you're going to get what
(08:25):
you're getting from Burrow. So I think the only difference
is you get a stronger arm, a little bigger player, UM,
a guy who you maybe you have a little less
injury concern about. Um. You know, Herbert's been healthier through
his time so far in the NFL, even in college
for that matter, as far as how much he played
in how little time he missed, so um, you know,
(08:48):
maybe you look at it from that perspective, but no,
I mean it would still be Burrow. I think you
look at you know, other players like a Trevor Lawrence
was a number one overall pick, and depending on what
type of leap he could take in year two. You know,
maybe he starts to enter into the conversation and change
your mind. Uh, you know as far as how you'd
review it, But no one over the borrow in my
(09:09):
mind right now, you don't think they would try and
do some sort of Patrick Mahomes type deal with him,
like a ten year deal to lock him up. What
did johnsh got a six year deal? I think you've
got to have the the agent and the player have
to be on board with that. You know, if you
feel like you've got your guy. Of course, as a team,
you'd want to do that because it's gonna be the
more economical way of doing it. And it really does
(09:32):
help you with cap planning if you if you can
basically take his ten year contract and say, we know
he's gonna be here, we know these are the cap hits.
Here's the way we can structure some things. Yeah, that'd
be most advantageous for any organization. I just I don't
know that there's many players who want to follow suit.
I mean, we will continue to keep seeing contracts being done,
(09:54):
and we we see players who don't follow suit. Like
that was record setting in one way because we haven't
see a contract value that high that long. Kirk Cousins
was one of which Hey is a three year, fully
guaranteed deal. We didn't see anyone follow suit there. Deshaun
Watson five year fully guaranteed deal. Haven't seen anyone fall suit.
So it all depends upon what you know, the combination
(10:15):
of the player and the agent are looking for the team,
and if they're all to come together, which is really
really rare for that circumstance to actually take place, it's
a a no. We could go to Burke. Yeah, I
was just gonna say we were brought to you by
UH discoverer, and we could talk about how complicated other
banks make it to redeem credit card rewards, or we
can talk about how would discover you can redeem your
(10:35):
rewards for cash in any amount at any time. I
mean talk about amazing learn more discover dot com slash
redeem rewards terms apply. Coming up later on this hour,
we will have another edition of would you rather Uh?
And before we go to break, so we do have
an update, Brady, the WiFi was working a lot faster
than normal. Lee has got some answers on the Klondike lyrics.
(10:57):
Um So go ahead, Lee, What's what's the Can you
just tell us what's happening here? Well, I can tell
you or I can play it for you. Okay, please play.
So I said that it's uh no room for a snitch? Correct,
that is what you said? Okay? Yeah, that boy, I'm
not confident now. Alright, So, so how would you damned?
(11:18):
I screamed, build snitch? I heard I heard hitch. Listen,
I heard snitch. I mean you were close enough, though.
I mean, I'm gonna give you credit because you got
the big brown part right, the big thick brown part
right of it. You know you nailed that part of it.
(11:46):
You know, I mean to change, you know, to change
snitch and stick. You know that's a small that's a
small technicality there. Like I hear snitch. I know you
guys are talking about can you play it again? Because
I hear niche and yeah. I think this is because
LaVar's nickname is stick first, why would Jodas laughs? It
turns into Chris collins Worth of so I don't know
(12:07):
what alright, So can we play it one more time? Please?
I screened, all right, why do you start to sound
(12:32):
like Chris Collinsworth? I don't know, I've never thought about it.
I just I don't know. Maybe it's because I didn't.
I did the impression so many times that now it's
just kind of can you do one for us real quick?
I mean, I gotta tell you, like, here's the thing.
You're listening to that commercial and I'm just trying to
(12:52):
hear is it snitch or stick? And then Lamar conn
said he's got this, you know, big brown like thing
and like you like he mailed a part of the
big round thing that he nailed. What that had no
room for a snitch or a stick? Yeah, that's um so.
I mean she was happy to talk about all that
chocolate smashed up into a big thick no room for
(13:15):
a stick, you know what I mean? One more tip,
one more tip before we go to break man that
that's got to be the funniest joked. I screen loaded
loaded big and thick man they had had and they
had to have her sound like that, right, They couldn't
(13:37):
have her sound any other ways. To review a little
uh lot going on there with those words. You know,
I never never thought about that, all right. I didn't
either until you started singing the lyrics. That's shocking that
Jonas would do a segment where he wanted to play
the lyrics but never thought about that. Come on, and
I didn't. I didn't read far enough into him, you know,
but I heard loaded, loaded, bigger thick. We do have
(14:05):
we do have some comments from somebody on a major
sports topic that that's been going on. We do have
an end in sight. Apparently there's a deadline. We'll get
into that for you right here on fs are be
sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas
Knox week days at six am Easter three am Pacific
(14:26):
on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks with you here. Coming up later
on this hour, we will have another edition of would
you Rather Some fun conversations and topics thrown out there
in the world of sports and beyond, So we'll get
into that for you here later on um So, Charles
(14:47):
Barkley was on the Dan Patrick Show yesterday, heard on
many of these Fox Sports Radio affiliates after we go
off the air, and of course the big discussion is
him potentially joining the Live tour. Talked about it yesterday
and Charles Barkley pointed out with Dan Patrick that he's
going to play in a program, uh and he's going
(15:08):
to hopefully have a conversation with Greg Norman and the
people that lived to see if there's an offer that
they want to officially throw at him. And if he
doesn't have an offer on Thursday and he leaves there,
it's over. He's not even gonna consider leaving t n
T to go join the Live tour. But he did
have some other things to say about the entire situation.
Here was Barkley yesterday on the Dan Patrick Show. Number one.
(15:31):
I have three years left on my TMT deal, okay,
and I'm probably gonna lose all my commercials. Uh So
those are two big things. Uh If I if I
had to lose my TNT gig, that that would hurt
me a lot. But I'm also gonna lose my commercials.
And listen, let's be realistic. I'm not sure how the
(15:52):
public is gonna get about his force. The commercial thing.
I might not get commercials anymore because uh so, it's
a lot that goes into it. But man, I love
my job, but I had to take the meeting. Everything
is really just speculation right now. Like I said, we
just had done. He had means are interested. I said, yes,
unless they come at me with something crazy, I'm not
(16:13):
leaving t NT. I love my job at t NT.
Somebody say Films got two hundred million dollars. I'm like,
you take that money. Somebody said Dustin Justin got a
hunting fifty million, and Bryson and Brooks, I'm like a
hunting fifty million dollars to play golf fifteen times a year.
I have no problem with those guys taking that money.
And if if they offered me something crazy, I'm gonna
(16:33):
take it too. I wonder what that what the number
would look like, what they would offer him, because if
those guys are getting they talked about it. He said,
what the number needs to be in it? He said,
he's right now or a little bit north of millions.
It's why I throughout the nine figures, because hey, they've
(16:55):
they've paid other guys nine figures. And I thought, I
thought dan Patrick brought up a great point and saying
that like Charles is more valuable than Dustin Johnson and honestly,
a lot of their golfers they brought on because he
legitimizes the live tour. He as I said yesterday, he
brings over this like impact of Hey, this isn't just
(17:17):
about golf anymore. You're taking away what I would assume
would be the best analysts in sports or them and
the most entertaining analysts in sports from TNT, which is like,
like I work on a studio show. Everyone holds that
group as the group. For the example, like you're trying
to mimic what those guys the magic they make on TV.
(17:39):
That that's what everyone's trying to mimic. And you take
him away from that, it's not gonna be the same.
And so I think it legitimizes the live tour. But
yet at the same time, he's right, it's gonna take
away all those other opportunities, whether it's with a network,
TV or commercials or whatever else, and he's gonna have
(17:59):
to be copy stated for that. So I think forget
about triple figures. If he's making a year, all right,
that takes you to what, depending on you know, where
you're at in that ballpark, it still has to be
more than that because He's probably not gonna be able
to come back and be the Charles that we see
on all sorts of different commercials and things around March Madness,
(18:21):
around the NBA playoffs, you know, watching you know, having
to watch their studio show. He's not gonna get any
of that. And so I think it's gonna have to
be a significant offer. But it's one that it may be.
It may it may make the most sense and maybe
the most valuable offer the live tour and Greg Norman,
whoever is involved, actually makes in this whole setup. You know.
(18:42):
My hot take on this is Charles Barkley is leveraging
TNT to have to give him more money. I mean,
if if he leaves and and it disrupts the successful
run that they're having with that show. And I know
he's got three years left on the deal. But who's
(19:04):
to say that T and T doesn't see the value
and Charles being on that panel along with some of
the other things that he does outside of just the
T and T show. I mean, who's to say that
he doesn't, you know, get a bigger offer. This doesn't
prompt you know, Turner Turner Entertainment to give him a
(19:24):
bigger offer to keep him there. I mean, if if
they're paying him what they're paying him, I would assume
they're paying Shack the most on that panel. I mean,
I don't I would doubt that they're all getting paid
exactly the same. I mean, because he's the biggest personality
on on the show. I mean, he's the most famous.
(19:44):
He's the most famous dude on the show. I mean,
that's not a freak fate. I mean, if you look
at his opinion, I think it's poor and more factual.
But go ahead, well again, it's it's your opinion. I
meant to back that up. Yeah, I mean you look
at his uh, his endorsements, wars Dorsemens, Charles has a
ton too. It's not close, not even close. And then
(20:05):
and that also, by the way, could be Charles's choice,
Like the reality is that that's the choice. It's not
to have less, to do less. He's been doing it
a long time. He's only just told the world that
he would go for more money. Right, what he do less?
You're I think you're you're missing what I said, would
(20:25):
do less. He might want to do less commercials LaVar,
so he might. And by the way, to live tour
be paying him more to do less, which is what
I'm trying to explain to you. So, yeah, maybe he's
chosen to do less commercial I guess so tired of
having to deal with Like, here's the thing, right, you
can make your points say it's my I'm I I don't.
(20:46):
It's like a condescending approach, Q, Like like, I get
what you're saying. I get what you're saying, Q, But
what I'm telling you is he's not more famous than
Shaquille o name, and he may want to do less
than Shaquille O'Neil or sorts. That's show. Why isn't lived
tour going after Shack the I would assume because Shaq
hasn't a children, there's no connection to golf and Shaquille O'Neil.
(21:11):
And that's why I'm saying. I'm look, I'm not trying
to make the case that Charles is a better Hall
of Fame whatever. I'm not. I'm not making that in
regards to basketball. Charles Barkley though, as a TV personality
is he is? He is, And that's just why I
would be willing. I would be willing after him, Okay,
(21:32):
but I would be willing to state that Charles Barkley
does not make more than what Shaquille O'Neil makes coming
onto that program. I just that's to me, he moved
the needle to a place where that show went to
an entirely different level of viewability of ratings, and that's
(21:53):
why they bridlem on. That's why, that's why he was.
To be honest with you, I'll watched that show long
before Shat got on there, and a lot of people
he does. He does a good job. I don't know
that he adds as much as Kenny and Chuck do
to that show. I mean, outside of his who he is,
he doesn't add as much as those two do. That's
(22:13):
he's the biggest brand on that show. And that's that's
true to a degree, right, Like he does a ton
of stuff, a ton of commercials. He's bigger than life.
He's Shock. He is the like I get that. I'm
just saying the live tour and going after him. They're
not going after him because it would not I mean,
I don't care if they're going out that. The bottom
line is Shock is not considered to be a golf enthusiast.
(22:38):
He's not playing audit. He is played a program He
is very much connected to golf like people, but he
enjoys it. Yeah, but he's not like he's filming on
this to commentate, But that would be why he's coming
on it to commentate because of his connection to the
golf community. He's a basketball player though it's like it's
(22:58):
not luck he has the same cre dentils for golf,
but people find him being connected to golf and the
brand that he is connectible to, to the to the sport.
You don't connect Shaquille O'Neil to that sport. That's that's
one of those rare instances where you can look at
a player like Charles Barkley, the personality that he is
(23:21):
in television, and you're saying he's connected to golf. We
can connect this guy to the live tour and like
he's connect with God because he does a hobby. It
doesn't matter, Pete. The general public knows that he's and
you can say it's condescending, but you can't be dismissive
of every point that stands in the way of what
you're trying to say. It doesn't it's not it's it's
(23:42):
the way you present it. When it's dismissive, I'm not
saying what I'm saying to you, or I've set a
fact to you have backed up with stats or data
or whatever else, and you said, opinion, But what is
the statar data? What's the stat that that first off,
I said to you, this is in this specific instance.
I said to you that that's your opinion, and you
(24:05):
could be right in that regard. You don't know the
contract situations there. I don't know. I don't either, So
I said, that's your opinion. That's fine. There's other instances
where you use that same argument, where we do have
stats or data to back it up, and you just go, well,
it's my opinion, okay, Like, if that's where you want
to leave it, we live discussion. That's fine. Don't be
upset about people say something like, are condescending forgetting Well,
(24:28):
it is condescending, but it's fine. You're how we got here.
I don't generally get upset. I don't get this conversation
because you took it here. I mean, I'm having a conversation.
That's what I do. And I definitely take things where
I take them, and and it is what it is.
But it's but the bottom line is is that it's
(24:52):
Shaquille O'Neill. Back to my original point, is a bigger
brand than Charles Barkley. My my next point to that
is that Charles Barkley is probably being pinpointed because of
his interest in golf, and people know he has an
interest in golf. That's that's I mean to me, it's
as simple as that. In terms of stats and and
(25:13):
data and all this, I mean, you can do that,
but I'm just telling you general Leman's terms. Somebody who
could care less about golf. Maybe you have more stats
and information that says this is what it is, and
that's fine. I'm just saying from a general person standpoint
in perspective that that's my opinion on it. That's all
(25:33):
you know is what it is. That's why it doesn't
need a stick. First, doesn't need a stick. Who need
in Klondike would choose to be the sponsor, Charles Barkley
or shack. Let's just settle this debate right now, once
and for all. Klondike can choose one of the other.
Who they choosing You already know who they're choosing. Charles Barkley.
(25:57):
I don't know he's the that's he's the by the way.
I disagree. I disagree when it comes to studio shows.
I'm a big new and kickoff guy. But again, if
you want to celebrate the NBA and TC, hey, come on,
can you can you find a Buckets Award winner given
a stiff arm to some woman in an Iowa game?
(26:17):
On on, have that. This isn't a mediation session. Like
me and Q are grown ups, we're adults. We can
have a moment. We're just having you don't you don't
you don't have to mediate. Oh, let me make sure
they're okay, like we're fine Americans. There he is, Oh
(26:39):
my god, there he is, coming out in Matt mcloyn's
number eleven. It's come with jail here Fox Sports Radio.
So we will have they're arguing that take it out
of me. I'm far, I'm fine, fine, We're okay. Gee,
(27:01):
we're just having fun. All right, we got would you
rather come in about ten minutes. I'm good, I'm good.
By the way, did you guys see the uh, the
Danny Amendola Adam Schefter stuff that went out? So Danny
Amendola announced his retirement. Yeah, and so Adam Schefter sent
(27:23):
out a tweet, but he the original tweet he sent
out on the top of the tweet said work like
does this work for you? With a question mark? And
so the speculation is that Adam Schefter meant to send
that to Danny Amendola and his agent and instead tweeted
it to get their approval on the verbage in the
(27:44):
tweet that he was sending out. And so a lot
of people have caught Adam Schefter and they said, oh,
that's clear that. Uh you know, there's another example of
you know, the the email that went out was at
Washington or I forget who it was where he's done it.
So so yeah, apparently he thought he was sending a
text and it turned out it was a tweet and
that he had to delete it and then re send it.
So some if you don't think that, however, that Cayler
(28:08):
Murray tweet for me and rappafore it came out, If
you don't think that was okay by whoever wanted that
to get out there, I mean, you're nuts, Like all
all this stuff works that way. It's just so funny. Man,
he's had a really rough year. Man that thumbs is
that what that's all that happens? That that gets sent
out there before you mean too so yeah, so a
(28:31):
lot of people were busting his balls about it. So
there's there's that. So, uh we've been farewell to Danny Amendola. Um,
you know him and Christian McCaffrey have something in common
if you guys know that they do. I mean, what
the sad thing is about that is? I think when
they split was it? I think that was after all
(28:53):
like the Super Bowls and everything that. Yeah, and uh,
Amndola had a little bit of a meltdown on Twitter
and Julie Adam and stim a tweet was like, hey man,
what are you doing? He just had a melt out
after they broke up, and uh he had to calum
out and then Amadola ended up deleting all that stuff.
But hey, good career for him. Super Bowl champ. Another
way around, I thought he broke off, broke up with her,
(29:17):
and we're talking about well so um Olivia Colpo, who
is um the the girlfriend of Christian McCaffrey. She at
one point dated um Danny Amendola and um, you know,
for those of you who have working eyes, you're welcome.
You can look that up at something and uh so
(29:37):
so uh he he had a little bit of an
issue once they broke up, and um, you know, now
she's with Christian McCaffrey and everyone is apparently happy. But
we'll get we'll get word on that from his spokesman,
Adam Schefter. At some point, I'm sir, so she's older
than right? Is she? How old is Olivia? Is she really?
(29:59):
How old? How old is h McCaffrey. It's not h
It's like four or five years younger. Wow, good for her?
Is that a cougar? I mean, looks she could be
thirty or three hundred. I don't care, like whatever, whatever
is happening. Uh, continue on McCaffrey's only twenty six. He's
(30:20):
twenty six. Why do you think he was older? Um?
All right, well, hey, good for everybody involved. Everybody involved?
Is is a superstar? My god? Ah? This is yes?
Is she a bigger brand than them? I mean, based
on based on all the stuff she has going on?
(30:42):
Would she be more valuable to them than McCaffrey and
Amadolo might be the most valuable if they absolutely disagree absolutely.
I tried to stay away from commenting on it, but
I wouldn't disagree. So coming up next year, we're gonna
cause Jonas showed me the I g account that that
(31:04):
was the only reason why I whatever know didn't take long. Jonas.
Actually we had the Super Bowl in Miami. I believe
they all came by and Jonas was sitting down and
for whatever reason, his legs wouldn't work for about an
hour after they had walked by to do an appearance.
Cafishes its calfishes should not stand up. The weird set
(31:27):
a circumstances. I mean, what would they the swimsuit edition
girls like the Angels or something like, and she was
with that guy had evascular fatigue of the cast. I
had to I had to borrow the waiters apron. There's
no blood flow getting those lights. It was with blood
(31:51):
clotting in other places, some of these fixtures. Oh man,
all right, It is Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe here on Fox Sports Radio broadcast professionals through and

Brady Quinn Jonas knocks with you here coming off top
of next hour a little over ten minutes from now,
we've got somebody speaking on behalf of their quarterback again.
Very strange, but maybe there's more to the story. We'll
get into that for you here on Fox Sports Radio
(33:18):
right now, though I don't know. I just want to
know if it's real or fake. That's all I want
to know. That is the big debate. Um all right now, though,
it is time for something we do, and it's called
this The life gives you lemons just like lemons. Hey, Joas,
(33:41):
you want to play a little game. You want to
know what poort for Would you Rather be? In our
latest edition of Would You Rather? I don't believe this
is I think this is the wrong imagings show. No,
I don't even know what this is. I really don't.
(34:03):
I have no idea. That's why I looked at Lee, like,
what's going on here? Is this from Jay cass? No,
there's technical difficult. The more frustrating port is like I
think I pitched this idea to join us for our show.
The fact you've stole it for your old I swear
to god, I've never heard this. This is the old one.
I'm sorry. I think we did used to do this
(34:24):
on your old show. I don't think. I don't think
we did. Okay, the premise is the same, all right,
we got what you did. Yeah, but I really don't
remember this. Don't remember I just picked out it's the
same premise. Okay, get to it. Well, why don't we
get to the actual imaging for this show, like, maybe
we should play that one instead. I don't know, look
(34:46):
at it. Would you rather your random topics, sports or otherwise?
I was wondering about that practice all over again. Started
over smooth as a cactus. Well, going with the theme
from the last imaging there, Would you rather be Steve
(35:07):
Bartman or Scott Norwood? Who's Scott Norwood? That the kicker
for the Bills? You missed the kick in the Super Bowl?
M because I was alive for that? Would be I
would rather be Scott Norwood because Steve Bartman wore a
(35:29):
walkman to a game and he's a loser and he
cost the Cubs and NLCS. So I'd rather be Scott Norwood.
I think I'm gonna go with the kicker too. Yeah,
I think that makes three of us. I'm just not.
I mean, look, the Cubs have one since so I
don't know. Maybe everyone's forgiven Bartman, but I don't know.
(35:51):
I just think the way he looks that, like that
look he made, it's just it's just hard to like him.
Not it's not even nerdy, it's just it's just hard
to like them. I'm okay with nerdy, he just has
that like like why are you here? Like why do
you have this this green turtleneck on? Why? Why? Why
(36:15):
doesn't not one thing on you match? Why do you
have on nineteen sixty five or the first year they
created headphones headphones on? Like why? Why? Why you Maybe
those old school Walkman headphones they would also works. They
would get stuck in your hair, like because the way
the metal was like when they would when you would
(36:36):
try and tighten them, you'd like pull hair out when
you take them off. It's a bummer, man, those are
the worst. Like and what year did that incident happen?
What year was that I was in college? Would have happened?
I mean, oh three? They had way better headphones, like
you you didn't even have to head like you didn't
(36:56):
have to have like the dopest headphones on on on
the market. But they had better headphones than than the
Walkman joints he had on. Man, I'm sorry, I just
don't like him. What else he I know he moved
from Chicago, didn't he He went into hiding. He won't
They've tried to get in touch with them because of
all the threats he got. Um, he just he doesn't
(37:18):
want any sort of attention whatsoever? So he just wanted
to hiding somewhere. Well, if he didn't want attention, why
did he reach his hands out for does he? Does
Fox take any credit for how many live shots he
kept showing? They wore him out man, and he was
he was getting beer thrown on him and everything. That's
a rough outing, Rahim, What else? Guys? Would you rather
(37:41):
know how you'll die or when you'll die? Jesus, Oh
my gosh, can we listen more upbeat? Please? Well, wouldn't
you say that he's gotta be a tough If you
knew how you die, you could maybe prevent it. Like
let's say, like, oh, you're gonna get hit by a
bus because you fall off a curb. It's like maybe
the rest of my I need to be more careful
(38:01):
round curves. I'd like to know when, because you know
that way you're going a bender right before, like like
you'd say, yeah, why you have to judge me? So what? Yeah,
every man, common man? You know, I would assume you
can't stop it when it's going to happen. So if
(38:23):
I had to choose, I would probably want to know when,
because I would probably spend all my money at least
all the money that I wanted to spend before that
that day came. That would be helpful. Would you well,
look at your text message? Can I rent that for
an hour? For an hour? And how many? All right,
(38:49):
let's let's go out with a bang. What else we
got guys? Would you rather be tall and slow or
short and fast? Geez? Tall and slow? Tall and slow? Yuh.
I'm gonna go with short and fast because I gotta
beat the tall and slows to the point from point
A to point b. So isn't it only asking? Um, well,
(39:12):
never mind, I was going to say a horse, yeah,
because the horse is still faster in the jockey. It
was a bad I mean, if you're going to be short,
then you might as well be fast, right show. I
just realized, and I just just because I was thinking
all long, you know, tall and short jockey horse. But yeah,
(39:33):
