Well I heard that. You know, when people sell their
personal firearms, they got to be careful who they sell
them to.

That's right, that's what I'm thinking.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
The way the laws are now, you don't want to
sell it to a person that's forbidding the own one
good point, you know, so just kind of you know,
just be careful.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Yeah, and there's no way for an individual really to
even find out if somebody's not allowed to own a firearm,
is there.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
That's correct.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Yeah, that's a good idea. And you, being a gun dealer,
a gun buyer and seller, you have access to those records,
don't you.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Well, well, the Feds do. Yeah, they don't provide us
with a You can't check a file arm out to
see if it's stolen. There is some there are some
websites you can go to that and not pretty good.
But yet if you've got some good friends in law enforcement,
you can get them checked out. Yeah, you know, because

you don't want to be you don't want to be
pulled over for traffic ticket and be in possession of
a stolen fiars. Lord, no, you're gonna get hooked up
and go for the ride anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yeah, yeah, and then you just got to explain yourself out.
So let's talk about this tax suppressor stamp, which I
just got an email from a guy who said, hey,
there's still a tax stamp, but it's zero dollars starting
next year.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Right, Well, there won't be it won't be a tax
stamp because there won't be no tax paid.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
That's a good point.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Just be a stamp. It would just be a you know,
like the old but there won't be a tax stamp
on it, you know, because they've done away is a
two hundred dollars tax on it.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
So do you think that's going to really boost your
suppressor sales?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
But it's already been good, you know. I mean we've
moved quite a few. But uh, when it comes after
the first I don't know how. You know, a lot
of people already got them. There's a lot of people
getting them, and but it may balk down the system
a little bit, you know. Yeah, And I don't personally,

I don't see why there's any kind of paper where
it's nothing but a muscler. Yeah, you know what you
have to do anything. I know in Europe there you're
required to have them, you know, and here you have
to go through all this red tape.

And it's not anybody for the for this audience. There's
a few people in here who don't understand the difference
between a suppressor and what people see in the movies
as a silencer. This doesn't silence.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
A gun, absolutely not. There's there are few circumstances where
there's some that with sub sonical can make it sound
Hollywood quiet. Sure, but no, you're not gonna You're still
going to have the crack of the bullet breaking the
sound very Yeah. That's but the initial blast that you're

He stays, Uh, it depends. They were a twenty two
one for twenty two, which is one of the most
popular suppressors. People buy it just for twenty two long rifle.
They're you know, in the four to five hundred dollars range,
you know, and then for the for the thirty kl

direct thread or with a muzzle break on there. You know,
they range anywhere from in the high sevens to which
