Speaker 1 (00:03):
It's that time. Time time, time, luck and load. The
Michael Berry Show is.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
On the air.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
It's Charlie from BlackBerry Smother. I can feel a good
one coming on.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
It's the Michael Berry Show.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Oh yes it is.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
You.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Read an email, A young man named Fallin says, Zor,
I'm twenty eight years old. I've been listening to you
while riding in my dad's truck since I was very young.
I'm a lifelong conservative. In twenty twenty two, I turned
my back on Trump and you for that matter, because

(00:49):
I don't agree with everything you say. But that's okay,
because this is America. Before Kamalo took Joe's place, I
decided I was never voting for Trump again, and almost
decided to vote for Joe because I despised Trump so
much for his behavior after he lost the twenty twenty election.

(01:14):
My family almost exiled me for this reason ha ha.
But nonetheless, I've seen the light and Kamala is so
bad I have to vote for Trump to stop her.
I have much more to say. Maybe you would like
to hear my story, and maybe it would be worth
putting it out on your show as a good talking
point to maybe persuade people that are on the fence.

(01:38):
Kamala is way worse than Obama in my opinion, and
she needs to be stopped. God bless Colin, and he
included his phone number. Well, Colin, you are the basis
for our show today. You're not the first person to
bring it up, but you're the best talking point to

(02:00):
start with it, because, as many of you know, we
do two shows a day. Our first show is from
eight am to eleven am Central Time, based in Houston,
and halfway through a three hour show this morning, I've
been giving a lot of thought to messaging and how

(02:24):
we can win this election. But unlike a lot of people,
I'm not looking for ways that Donald Trump can do
something he hasn't already done to win this election. I
don't expect him to win this election for me. I
expect me to win this election with you. I expect
him to do his part. But I'm also not the
person that believes that politics is for everybody else and

(02:47):
I'll just sit around and complain. So it hit me
a black fellow called his name is Jeff, and he
sounded like Alan Tousson, and so we played a little
Southern Nights. There's a thirteen minute edition on YouTube. You
look up Alan tusson Southern Nights song he wrote, and

(03:07):
he tells a story about going out to visit his
family in the backwoods of Louisiana outside of New Orleans,
where the houses were about a shotgun distance away, and Jeff,
as a black man in I believe his sixties, was
talking about his frustration with other blacks, and I thought,

(03:31):
you know, Jeff is so brave because you know, for
most of you, when you state who you're voting for
and why your own family doesn't turn against you. They
don't ridicule you and mock you. That's what happens to
black people when they're at the family gathering, the barbecue,

(03:55):
sitting out back this weekend, Jeff's family is some by.
His family's going to go, oh, hey, Jeff, how are
we doing. How's your boy Trump doing? Jeff? And Jeff
knows here it comes and they all start piling on.
He's the outcast now and they say things like I
know this because I have a lot of listeners, and

(04:17):
they share these stories. Hey, Jeff, you white, Now, what's
it like being white? Jeff? When you get arrested, you
don't get taken to prison. Is Trump paying you.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Jeff, you get.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
A better job, you get all the privileges, Jeff, What
you get for selling out Jeff? Well, that's not pleasant.
So it's easier for Jeff if he is going to vote,
to just quietly vote and not tell anybody. In fact,
it's easier for everybody. So why do it to thine

(04:54):
own self? Be true? You know that you love this country,
and you know that this isn't a sporting event. Who
wins and who loses will be the fate of this nation,
and you know it. It couldn't be more important. It's

(05:16):
the life or death of this country. And you know that,
which means between now an election day, you have to
do everything possible to win this election. Your vote is
already counted on, so you don't need to tell me
I've doubled my TV watching, I've doubled. Your vote is

(05:38):
counted on. We got your vote. Now go get another one.
Go get another one and do things that will win votes.
Don't turn people off, don't pound them on the head
with how conservative you are and how stupid they are.
There's people that you're not going to win over, and
you got to know that. But There are people who say, well,

(05:58):
I don't know, I probably vote for Biden. You know,
I didn't like the way Trump handle twenty twenty. Here,
I don't like the way he talks. Man, that's an opportunity.
You got an opportunity, you got an end. Well, let
me let me tell you. I agree with you. I
don't like the way he talks. I agree with you.
I didn't like twenty twenty. I agree with you. He's
rich and I'm not. I agree. Whatever it is. Connect

(06:22):
with that person, Share with them, Validate their concern. Yes,
I understand you're not the Trump pumper that I am.
You don't love him, you don't go to his rallies.
But it's not about Donald Trump. It's about the policies.
And here are his policies, and here are her policies.
So this isn't this isn't a question of do you

(06:45):
love Donald Trump? All right? Phone lines are open, demos
and details. You tell me your demographics and your details
seven one three nine ninety nine, one thousand, share your testimony,
coming up.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
With ladies, make yourself useful and grab your fellow or girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Love he pop and top is.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Right around the corner on the Friday Drive Home edition
of The Michael Barry Show.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
This morning, something magical happened on our program, and I
want to tell you about it now, and I want
to recreate it. And that is this. I've been spending
a lot of time thinking about messaging, because messaging is very,
very important. And I give you an example. If I

(07:29):
say to you, where's the beef? Just like that, that's
all I say. I take you back to a certain place.
I take you back to the three elderly ladies at
the home of the big Bun. That was the fake

(07:49):
restaurant they were at, and an ad that aired in
nineteen eighty four, And the bun was massive and the
patty was tiny, and two of the ladies poke at
the bun and they look at each other and one

(08:12):
of them says, it certainly is a big bun. It's
a very big bun. It's a big, fluffy bun. And
then the other old lady says, where's the beef? That
ad made Wendy's many many many, many, many, many many

(08:36):
million dollars. Now, Wendy's didn't make a bigger meat patty
a different bun. They didn't lower their prices, they didn't
improve their customer service. They told their story, but they

(08:58):
told their story in a way that connected with the audience.
You can call that marketing, you can call it advertising.
I call it messaging because sometimes, particularly in politics, you're
not necessarily quote unquote selling, but you're selling. I say

(09:22):
this all the time. People don't like the word selling
because it's beneath them. Preachers don't think they're selling, or
they're saving souls for Christ serving their flock. You're selling,
and you better be selling well. If you want to
save the people, you better be selling pretty darn well.

(09:45):
Teachers don't want to think it's selling un beneath them.
They want their kids to all have honorable jobs and
not be s. You're selling because guess what, you got
the same math, science, English they've been teaching for centuries.
We'll leave aside the nonsense will craft, but you're selling

(10:07):
that this is interesting and worthwhile. People tell me all
the time, I don't know why I had to take algebra.
I ain't never used that. Maybe you haven't. You also
haven't used your brain. The skills you learned from algebra
are important to your life. You see NFL players doing

(10:29):
curls and doing bench presses. They don't say I don't
ever out on the field do a bench press. They're
strength strengthening a muscle that they're going to use for
a particular purpose. And that's what you're doing when you
do that. So the messaging I'm not going to sit

(10:53):
by and allow us to lose this election without doing
everything I can do, and I challenge you to do
the same thing. A lot of people don't realize, don't
admit that they're part of the solution. And if you're
not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
So what we have to do is explain to people

(11:16):
who are not already sold why they have to show
up and vote for the candidate we know to be
the best. And that's not just Donald Trump, that's Republicans
all the way down the line, because if you don't
vote for Republicans all the way down the line, you
end up with Democrats and positions that can harm him.

(11:37):
Remember Alvin Bragg, Remember Letitia James. And so I started
asking for what I just called demos and details, that's
your demographics and why you're voting for Trump. And it's
been amazing the whole day I've been getting emails seven
one three nine, nine nine one thousand, seven one three,

(11:58):
nine nine nine one thousand. I want people to understand
it's people from all walks of life, and they all
have great reasons why they're voting for Trump. Chelsea. I
took your call early because you might be a young voter,
and we want more young voters to weigh in as well.
Demos and detailed sweetheart, Yes.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
Chelsea, I'm a thirty seven year old, white female, mother
of young two children. I'm voting for Donald Trump for
my third time because he is a freedom loving leader,
cares about accountability, and he cares about the border, and
I care about small small business taxes.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Very well, said Chelsea. Thank you for calling, Sweetheart and
demos and detailed, sweetheart, go ahead.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
I'm a white woman, I'm seventy eight. I'm voting for Trumpy.
I watch them praising our equipment in Afghanistan. I remember
my husband saying we've lost again. He's a Vietnam Vic.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
So my guy, thank you, thank you, thank you for calling,
thank you for sharing. Thank your husband for his service.
Don demos in details, good sir, demos in details.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
White male, seventy I'm voting for America. I'm voting for
border security. I'm voting for the economy. I'm voting for
drilling and balanced budget. I'm voting for freedom to vote,
freedom to worship. I'm voting for our military. I'm voting
for our police, and I'm voting for less government.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
And I'm voting to that we.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
Should be taking care of home first. Another second, thank you, sir.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
That is I didn't want to interrupt you. That is
very well said. I commend you, very well said. Ten.

Speaker 6 (13:52):
You're on the Michael Berry Show. Go ahead, Michael. This
is ten from Cyprus, Texas. I'm fifty two years old.
I'm a Vietnamese naturalized citizen, and I'm voting for Donald
Trump because we need to ensure the prosperity of the
future of this nation for our kids. I have a
ten year old son and a five year old daughter

(14:14):
and they mean the world to me, and I believe
Donald Trump is the only one that can make a
better future for them.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Very well said, sir. You know Vietnamese who relocated to
this country first of all, like Venezuelan's today, like Cubans,
people who saw their countries destroyed by communism. These are
people the first generation who came here. Boy, were they

(14:43):
ever eager to start over, give their children a better life,
and vote for a better government because they saw what
can happen when things go south. Michael, you're on the
Michael Berry Show. Demos in detail, Sir.

Speaker 5 (14:58):
Forty eight years old, white Caucadian, but Jewish and voting
for Donald Trump because I'm worried about Israel's safety.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
You should be. You should be. It is more perilous
than it has been for fifty fifty fifty seven years,
fifty six years. These are very, very perilous times for Israel.
And because the terrorist crowd has infiltrated and now leads

(15:32):
the Democrat Party, there is nobody in that party willing
to stand up against it. And the moment Josh Shapiro
had the vice presidential ring taken from him for being
a pro Israel Jew was the moment that marked that
moment in time. That's when the Democrat Party made their decision,

(15:52):
and they made it clearly. And any Jews still holding
on to hope that you can fix it, you're lost,
officially part of the problem. Every dollar you give is
a dollar to those who would destroy you. Never forgive it.
We hear it the Michael Berry's Shield. Believe that a grown.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Ass man or a lesbian woman should be able to
pop a cold beer on the drive home on Friday,
Dirty Good, Dragon Big.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
In the Southern Baptist Church, we believe that we as
Christians have a duty commanded to us by our Bible
from God himself, and that is to evangelize. That's why
we are called evangelists. And in this sense we are

(16:43):
as Christ's original apostles. We are to go out and
preach everywhere. As in Matthew and Mark we see the
eleven Disciples became Jesus's disciples became Jesus' is not disables apostles.

(17:04):
This apostolic nature you will see if you've ever driven
by a church and you see an apostolic church. That
being used to define this literally means an apostle is
one personally commissioned to deliver a message to someone else.

(17:24):
It's an emissary, it's a diplomat, it's an ambassador. These
all come from similar roots, some of them the same route.
This is our command, This is what we are to do.
Go ye there for and preach the word, spread the gospel. Well,
I'm going to tell you something. That's what we have

(17:45):
to do right now to save this country. We can't
expect Donald Trump to win this election. That's what I
keep hearing from people. He needs to do this, and
he needs to do that. Stop focusing on him, start
focusing on you. Well, he needs it. Listen, if Trump

(18:05):
falls short, you lose, So take it upon yourself. If
it is to be, it's up to me. And then
at least if we lose, you left no stone unturned.
So I want to hear from you, want to I
want you to evangelize. Tell me your demos and details,

(18:27):
your demographics and the details of why you're supporting Trump.
That's what we're doing on the Whole Show today. RC
you're on the Michael Berry Show. Tell us your demographics
and who you're voting for and why.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
I'm fifty eight years old, colored blackmail and I want
to vote but Donald Trump. Mainly reason is illegal immigration.
If he does the mass deportation, that's number one, number
two the economy.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Let me ask you about the mass deportation and why
that's important. Share your perspective on why that's important.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
I've been noticing it since the late eighties and I
understood kind of what was going on and how the
demographics and the the communities was changing, and how the
the jobs was being, you know, taken up by the

(19:36):
skilled labor, and many of many of the illegal immigrants
does have skilled labor, and they were being hired in
on the companies, you know, in the late eighties and
the early nineties. And also I saw them bringing in
the drugs, you know, I saw the small own eyes

(19:59):
and the cracking cocaine explosion in the eighties and nineties
came with them. That's been going over a long time.
So basically it's it's it's a that's been a thorn
in the countryside and and it really needs to be rectified.

(20:20):
And neither neither side. I've decided to do it, and
I'm hoping Trump do it. I hope we don't make
a deal with want to get it off. It would
make a deal to keep most of them here. I
won't at least ninety percent of go.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
I don't fear the deal. Well, let me say this,
the point at which we're discussing a deal would still
be further down the road than we are today, and
and that would be good. I also agree, you know,

(21:04):
if you want, if you want to close the borders.
When you deport people, it will have a chilling effect
on the number of people coming up from Latin America.
A chilling effect because they will say, that's a long

(21:28):
way to go, and if we're going to be if
we're going to be there for a year or two
and be booted, that's pretty disruptive. And not everybody will
say I'm not going to Most will still take their chances,
but you would necessarily begin to It's a scarecrow effect.
You would reduce the number of people willing to break
into our country the minute you did that. The minute

(21:51):
you did it. Jose, you are on the Michael Berry Show.
Give your demos and your details. Go ahead.

Speaker 6 (21:59):
Yeah, I'm a thirty four year old male, Hispanic.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
I'll be voting.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
We're going from why.

Speaker 7 (22:08):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
The reason is.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
The financial sector or the our economy is starting right
now with.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Dividing administration. And I have my own trucking business and
it's just it's.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Been very, really bad.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
Basic that's pretty much it.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
No, you know what, there is no shame in saying
I'm voting because I want my life improved. And that
person is going to implement policies that will improve my life.
I wish more people could understand that that's what we
should be doing instead of saying that person would be

(22:53):
the first woman, or black or Indian, or retard or cripple,
or person eight foot tall or midget. That's not how
you choose. You pick the quarterback for your team based
on who can help you win. You pick the guy
to run your company based on who can help you succeed.

(23:16):
But people have no clue what they're doing when they
vote for someone on the basis of well it is historic,
celebrating the grown as working man and lesbian woman, or
Friday drive Home on the Michael Berry Show. Today's Friday
Drive Home is not your usual open line. The lines

(23:38):
are open and we do want to hear from you,
but we did something this morning that we're doing this evening,
and we're going to do a fair amount of between
now an election day. I just came off the cuff
with demos and details. Demos are your demographics. That is
your sex, your age, your race, your back. So you

(24:01):
can say, I'm a twenty four year old black woman
from North Dakota and I'm supporting Donald Trump because and
I want you to internalize that because that's not selfish,
that's smart. In nineteen ninety two, James Carville helped Bill

(24:24):
Clinton beat George Bush, a very popular George HW. Bush
at the time, by saying it was the economy stupid,
and he told Clinton back pocket issues, people's personal finances,

(24:45):
focus on people. See, we get very caught up in
whether Kamala Harris is a whore. Okay, that's fine. That
will turn some people off, and that's fine, but you've
got to understand, we're going after people who are not

(25:06):
political at all. They don't know what state Donald Trump
lives in. They don't know what state he's from. They
don't know what TV show he was on. They don't
know what state Kamala Harris is from. They don't know
what state Joe Biden is from. We've got to go
get people where they are and get them to vote
in the way that is going to help this country

(25:28):
the most. So meet them where they are. You can't
just say, well, they're stupid. You can't let them stay
home and not vote. You've got to compel them to vote.
You got to make them want to vote. You got
to make them understand. Listen, if they were having a
big sale on Black Friday where big screen TVs were

(25:54):
a dollar apiece. You'd be able to sell them on
that Wasn't you be able to get them out of
their house and go over and do that. Share with
people why it matters to you. Hey, I'm a mother
of children, I'm a small business owner, and this is
how inflation is hurting me. I am a and this
is why. Share your story, your own story, not what

(26:18):
you heard Sean Hannity or someone on Fox or me,
not my story, your story. Share how it affects you
and how it will affect them. What's the worst it
could do? They don't vote the way you wanted them to.
At least try. Vicky, you are on the Michael Berry Show.
Demost details, sweetheart, go ahead. My name is Vicky.

Speaker 8 (26:43):
I'm seventy one, almost seventy two. I'm the mother of
three beautiful children, two girls and a boy, and we
are all pro Trump. He's the only one that can
get us through this mess. I like his thought's his mind,
he's on. He loves America, which we need got sperately

(27:04):
and third time's chterm.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
I think you're right. The American people are patient. We've waited.
We've been diligent. It's our country, we love it, and
this is the time, well said VICKI very well said.
Let's go to Barbara Moana. There we go, Barbara, You're
on the Michael Berry Show demos and detailed sweetheart.

Speaker 7 (27:29):
I'm sixty three white female Christine for Trump, I just
wish that, you know, I know he's going to be
in sale and that that's great.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
I love the.

Speaker 7 (27:42):
Person he is. I know he has true love for
this country, for those that serve this country, and for
the American citizens. But delivery is everything. And I think
that he's gotten a little bit monitor home and we
really need to dig deep. When he's speaking to the

(28:05):
American people, he's a look in their eyes and say worse,
this is serious, and hit each point, you know, until
one of this is serious and really speak to them
and make contact, make eye contact with that camera and

(28:25):
really talk to them from his heart. And I think
he'll make an impact. And to reach the suburban women
out there, he has to really talk about the children,
about how these policies are affecting their lives and not
you know, he's not one to just make these little

(28:47):
burbs and just say nothing he does have policies and
not just you know, these blurbs that go out there.
I don't know if this doesn't make any sense, but
I'm a voter and I'm listening to him, and oh
I wish, I wish you'd just look at us through

(29:10):
the camera lens at a rally or wherever you're at.
And because he has a true heart, and you use
that true heart.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
He does. He very serious, he does, but I know
he tries. He does. But I'm going to say this
a lot of times between now an election day, the
people at the Trump rallies are voting for Trump. So
when people tell me he does a great job at
the rally, wonderful, When people say I'd like to hear

(29:42):
him say this, this, and this at the rally, Okay,
I think you're being naive. A tiny percentage of Americans
are going to go to a Trump rally. You win
the election when people who've never been to a Trump
vote for Trump. You win the election when people who've

(30:04):
never watched Fox News, who've never watched news Max, who've
never listened to this program or any other vote for Trump.
How do we get to those people? We get to
those people? You and me. We don't wait on them

(30:25):
to come to the right television station because guess what,
they're watching Parks and rec or whatever TV show is
already on network news. They're not watching cable TV news programs.
They don't go to Fox News. They may not go
to CNN or MSNBC. They're going to ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN.

(30:51):
They're watching sporting events, they're watching sitcoms. And while they're
they're going to get a very subtle dose of Trump
is a joke. Only racists support him. The KKK is
his campaign team. And America needs to move forward, not backward.

(31:12):
And this is a phenomenon which is Kamala Harris and
it'll be fun. Let's vote for her to be fun
and people, yeah, I want to be fun. I want
to be a fuddy dubt. I don't be a fuddy
dad like Donald Trump. I want to be fun. Kamala's fun.
It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be good when you
start understanding that that voter is who we have to win.
And now you begin to understand this isn't what Trump

(31:34):
says at rallies. It's going to win or lose this election.
