Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know what gives me a great deal of hope
that I have received this week. So for our Texas listeners,
I have received this week, And actually I shouldn't limit
it to Texas because this has happened across the country.
But because we started in Texas and our flagships in Texas,
(00:22):
we still have more Texas listeners than any other single state.
These folks are sending me emails about showing up and voting,
and I can see if somebody has never sent me
an email before. These are people, some of them were
talking about having listened for ten years or more and
(00:45):
they've never sent me an email. Now what does that
tell you? They're loyal listeners. They don't see themselves as
someone who either wants to take my time or be judged,
or there's all sorts of reasons somebody might send an email.
But something is happening with people. There is a hope
(01:11):
that things that we can change this, that we can
fix this. Our country is not going to be burned
to the ground. And folks that have never listened before,
have never emailed me before, are now reaching out to
(01:31):
share a very simple tale instance. They're all very straightforward
and right to the point. And I didn't ask for this.
I didn't ask for this. They're just doing it. Hey Michael,
out here in New Ass's County. Hey Michael, over here
in Waller County. Here's a photo of it. Hey Michael,
I'm over here in Orange. I'm over here in Dallas
or wherever else. And and people have hope for our country.
(02:00):
Let me say something. The message of the left is
not a message of hope. The message of the left
is crime, violence, victimhood, sadness, resentment. It's not an aspirational approach.
It's a very dark, dark existence. You know, you see
(02:25):
what life was like in the Soviet Union, or for
that matter, Soviet Block countries where hope was dead. It
was misery. That's the message of Marxism. That's the communism
they're trying to impose, turning one against another, turning black
versus white, turning women on men. Remember when Barack Obama
(02:49):
said it Thanksgiving, go home and tell your parents and grants,
lecture them. Do you remember that, lecture them? Are you serious?
What kind of evil monster do you? What kind of
evil monster are you getting in between young people and
(03:11):
the parents who brought them into this world, who are
paying their bills and who loved them. We can fix that.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Happy birthday.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
God, I'll get her a MCDAALDSB.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
With the Michael Barry.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
I'll get her surprise. One of the embarrassment of riches
that I enjoy or suffer is that this election cycle
we have so much audio clips that we have used
to telp us tell the story. That the clips are
(03:44):
so many that we can never remember them. We can't
focus on what's important. So we created, though I don't know,
six weeks or so ago, our greatest hits, and that
was the most important. You know, Tim Walls saying he
makes friends with school shooters. That's how he's come to
the conclusions he has on his stupid policies. Kamala Harris saying,
(04:06):
you know, I was born a middle class child, you
know Steve Martin and the jerk. I'm you know, born
and poor black. So we were going through and trying
to reduce that list, to shorten that list, and in
so doing we agreed, although Ramon now claims he didn't,
that we should go through and play each one of
(04:27):
them one time and then strike some of them off
the list and narrow the list more and more narrow
as we got to election season. So I know that
some of our goofy ideas may not play well on
the radio, but that's the kind of stuff that we
like to do, and so that's why for a few segments,
we're doing a Kamala's Greatest hits, and that's why we're
(04:50):
going to be sharing some of those with you. Kamala
Harris tries to act like she's pro law enforcement, but
she's not. This was her Good Morning America back in
twenty twenty. Eric Garcetti defunded the LA Police Department, not entirely,
(05:10):
but he defunded key components. And she is telling progressives
at the time, I'm with you, we're going to have
fewer cops. This was part of the Soros plan. This
was twenty twenty.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
So does that mean you support proposal like what we've
seen in Los Angeles? Mayor Eric Garcetti saying, take some
of the money from policing, about one hundred and fifty
million dollars invested in health initiatives, training initiatives for youth.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
I support investing in communities so that they've become more
healthy and therefore more safe. Right now, what we're seeing
in America is many cities spend over one third of
their entire city budget on policing. But meanwhile, we've been
defunding public schools for years in America. We've got to
(05:56):
re examine what we're doing with American tax payer dollars
and ask the question question, are we getting the right
return on our investment?
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Last year, Kamala Harris was on Sixty Minutes. She had
very low poll numbers, and she was asked, why don't
the big money Democrats, why don't they want you to
be Joe's replacement. See, you have to remember Kamala wasn't
popular in twenty twenty. She didn't even make it to
(06:26):
Iowa the first caucus. She dropped out. She wasn't liked
as vice president. There was talk of kicking her off
the ticket. So when they smothered Joe, they had to
put her on because otherwise it was going to look
bad that they passed over her. The problem is she's
(06:48):
a terrible candidate.
Speaker 5 (06:50):
We were talking to some Democratic donors and they have
told us that should something befall President Biden and he
is not able to run, that there would be a
free for all for who would run as president. You
are in the spot that that would be a natural
(07:13):
for you to step up. But we're hearing from donors
that they would not naturally fall into line.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Why is that, Well, first of all, I'm not going
to engage in that hypothetical because Joe Biden is very
much alive and running for reelection, So you do.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
Know, I mean, that is a concern, and a legitimate concern.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
I would say, I hear from a lot of different people,
a lot of different things, But let me just tell
you I'm focused on the job. I truly am. Our
democracy is on the line, Bill, and I, frankly, in
my head, do not have time for parlor games when
we have a president who is running for reelection.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Colin Allred is all wrong for Texas. They kept him
hidden away. It's the Joe Biden Kamala Harris twenty twenty
four strategy, and that strategy is keep him in the
basement and spend a lot of money on him. And
guess what, it was working until things started coming out
(08:16):
that he'd said before, like we're not going to let
you build a wall, We're not going to let you
stop illegal immigration.
Speaker 6 (08:23):
They built that racist wall.
Speaker 7 (08:25):
My generation is the one that will tear it down.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
The great Ron Paul was asked after the debate what
he thought of Kamala Harris. I thought this was an
interesting response.
Speaker 8 (08:39):
I think comalis I had did she surprised me. I
thought she was a much slicker liar than I realized,
but she could tell lies pretty well.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Peter Doocey is one of the heroes to come out
of the last couple of years. Done a great job
as the White House correspondent for Fox News, and here
he is asking the Affirmative Action Press secretary about the
thirteen thousand convicted murderers that are illegally in our country.
Speaker 6 (09:12):
Thirteen thousand people who have been convicted of murder across
the border illegally and are living among us.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
So how much danger are you as communities in right now?
So I'm assuming you're talking about the ice data. Yes.
One of the things that always surprises people, and I
get emails asking where can I find that? Is Bill
Clinton's nineteen ninety five State of the Union address where
he says what Republicans say now, a Democrat would never
(09:41):
say this today.
Speaker 8 (09:42):
We are a nation of immigrants, but we are also
a nation of laws.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
It is wrong and ultimately self defeating.
Speaker 8 (09:50):
For a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of
abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years,
and we must do more to stop it.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Another on our Greatest Hits list of Kamala Harris during
the debate, she can't tell you what she would do
different than Joe Biden. Here is how would you handle Putin?
And would it be different than Biden?
Speaker 9 (10:15):
I want to take this device, President Harris. I want
to get your thoughts on support for Ukraine in this moment,
but also as commander in chief if elected, how would
you deal with Vladimir Putin? And would it be any
different from what we're seeing from President Biden.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Well, first of all, it's important to remind the former
president you're not running against Joe Biden. You're running against me.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
And here is Kamala Harris who tells us Biden's great,
and she's been in charge and they're doing the same thing,
and they're reading from the same song sheet, but she's
going to do things different.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Clearly, I am not Joe Biden, and I am certainly
not Donald Trump. And what I do offer is a
new generation of leadership for our country.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Charlie Kirk had a great moment a while back talking
about why you should vote for Donald Trump. You're not
looking for a boyfriend. You're talking about the five thousand
people who are going to run the government. Who do
you want to pick those people.
Speaker 6 (11:14):
You're not voting for Trump. You're voting for five thousand
people that will run your government. Do you think that
Donald Trump will assemble five thousand better people more in
line with your worldview? May not perfect or Kamala Harris,
that's what's on the ticket. It is a team of
five thousand people, and that goes from everything from the
Department of Defense to the border to all these issues.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Remember the International Longshoremen's Association, they were going to go
on strike. Oh no, that turned out very bad. They
immediately postponed the strike. Harold J. Daggett, who is by
all accounts, a mafia goon. Remember his interview where he
(11:56):
said he was gonna threaten, he was gonna cripple you.
Speaker 6 (12:00):
You're better off sitting down and let's get a contract
and let's move on with this world and today's world.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
I'll cripple you.
Speaker 8 (12:08):
I will cripple you, and you have no idea what
that means, nobody.
Speaker 6 (12:13):
We will restore the American republihow your support.
Speaker 8 (12:19):
We will make America powerful again.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
We created a Kamala Harris's greatest hits and a Donald
Trump for all his positives, and I'm just going through
some of them to remind you these are what we
have determined. I'm actually gonna take some of these off
after today. This will be the last time we play them.
But these are the moments of the campaign. And the
reason I do this is because every day she's doing
something stupid, and it's easy to forget the important, the
(12:48):
most important, most influential thing. So here we go. Another
major theme that really causes Kamala problems is that she
kept saying up until the last minute that Joe Biden
was in great shape, everything was fine, and she's ready
(13:10):
to be president if she needs to, but it'll never
be necessary because he's ready to go. And then they
smothered the old man.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
I'm ready if necessary, but it's not going to be necessary.
And we have a very bold and vibrant president in
Joe Biden. In Joe Biden, we have one of the
boldest and strongest American presidents we have had.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
Are you prepared to be commander in chief?
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Yes? I am if necessary, but Joe Biden is going
to be fine, and I'm not going to engage in
that hypothetical because Joe Biden is very much alive and
running for reelection.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Kamala Harris, while speaking at an Islamic center in California,
telling a group of Muslims that we're not ever going
to use the term radical Islamic terror, and we're not
going to use the term in legal alien. But but
what if it fits not have.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
The courage to object when they use that term radical
Islamic terrorism, and the greatest victims of terror.
Speaker 6 (14:20):
Also have the courage to.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Reject that term illegal alien.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
See the worst of criminal behavior, I have seen the
worst of crime. An undocumented immigrant is not a crime.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
This may be my favorite moment. This was on NBC.
I think it's Lester Holt, didn't I think it's Lester
Holt who asked her, we'll listen to in a second.
But he said, she says, we've been to the border,
and he says, you've been to the border. Yeah, we've
been the border, but no, you haven't been to the border.
(15:04):
And then she says, and I haven't been to Europe.
Isn't that weird. That's the weirdest thing to say.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
We are going to the border. We've been to the border.
So this whole, this whole, this whole thing about the border.
We've been to the border. We've been to the border.
You haven't been to the border, and I haven't been
to Europe.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
We keep vacillating, we keep going back to this point
that Kamala Harris has no skill set, she has no accomplishments.
So in order to have accomplishments, they had to say
she's the one that coordinated the botched Afghan Afghanistan withdrawal
where we lost thirteen of our service members, because we
(15:45):
need to have her do something. She's in charge of
the military. She's a tough girl, girl power. Okay, but
but that that's not good because military families are still
mad about that.
Speaker 10 (15:57):
President Biden always said that he wants to be the
last person in the room, particularly for big decisions, just
as he was for President Obama. He just made a
really big decision Afghanistan. Yes, were you the last person
in the room?
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (16:11):
And you feel comfortable?
Speaker 2 (16:12):
I do.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
North Carolina is trending Trump and one of the things
that I think has really made a difference is with
the storms that hit North Carolina. You saw that what
Kamala Harris did was went on a podcast to talk
(16:35):
about providing oral service to Willie Brown or whatever else,
to talk about sex techniques while the people were literally dying. Well,
let's not forget that FEMA. There was a FEMA zoom
call where they weren't talking about how to get food
and water and shelter and safety to people. They were
(16:58):
talking about they were worried about trans individuals. Because this
is what they do. When you hear the word equity,
your hackle should go up. That is the devil.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
It is our lowest income communities and our communities of
color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions and
impacted by issues that are not of their own making.
And so absolutely, and so we have to address this
in a way that is about giving resources based on
(17:32):
equity understanding that we fight for equality, but we also
need to fight for equity understanding, and not everyone starts
out at the same place. And if we want people
to be in an equal place, sometimes we have to
take into account those disparities and do that work.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
You'll notice we keep coming back to this theme again
and again and again, Kamala Harris says, I'm in charge.
I've been running things, and then she says things are
really bad. We're going to do it very differently.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
America has tried these failed economic policies before. But we
are not going back.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
We are not going back, not going back, We are
not going.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
This is an interview. There are a lot of man,
I forget how many of these we have. There are
a lot of these audio clips of her when she
was running in twenty nineteen, and this was on the
view and she's asked, you think this socialist ideology, the
Green New Deal, you think that could splinter the party.
In fact, recently Bernie Sanders said, how come she's not
(18:56):
jumping up and down over the Green New Deal. He says, well,
she's got to say whatever she has to say to get.
Speaker 11 (18:59):
Alexandriacisiocort has a new darling of the party. She officially
has more Twitter followers than Nancy Pelosi. She's done sixty
minutes this weekend, proudly calling herself a radical, and she's
promoting policies like saying that every single carbon emission in
the country, every car, should be eliminated within the next
eleven years, everything from a seventy to eighty percent tax rate.
Do you agree that she could possibly, in this ideology
(19:20):
of the socialist left, could splinter your party?
Speaker 2 (19:23):
No, you know, I think that she is challenging the
status quo. I think that's fantastic.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
They remain scared to death of you, and they remain
scared to death of Trump. The Michael Barry Show, You're
not going anywhere even if Trump does, You're not. This
segment is you can slug this from Wing You slug
this segment as Kamala's greatest hits. We create these lists
of the most important audio that we think will move
(19:52):
the most important people, and a reminder get out and vote.
Vote all the way down the ballot, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz,
all the way down, every Republican. People keep asking, are
you going to release your endorsement list? Yeah, every Republican.
I'm not gonna quibble. I'd rather the Republicans and the
Democrat vote against every bond. It's just another opportunity for
(20:15):
taxing agencies to have more money to play with, because
the more money they have, the more money they can
give to the engineers and architects and lawyers and bond people.
Who will then give them the money to run their campaign,
and you're the one getting soaked, So vote against all
of them. All right, here's our greatest hits. We're continuing
(20:36):
down the list. Kamala Harris was asked at the Democrat
primary what she would do to help illegal aliens. Now,
I want you to notice she's got a long list
of things she'll do for illegal aliens.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
I will immediately buy executive action reinstate DOCA status and
DACA protection to those young people. I will further extend
protection for deferral of deportation for their parents and for
veterans who we have so many who are undocumented and
have served our country and fought for our democracy. I
(21:14):
will also immediately put in place a meaningful process for
reviewing the cases for asylum. I will release children from cages.
I will get rid of the private detention centers.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
On my greatest hits list, this is four to ten
dash too ramon this one, this one at the time.
I remember when I first heard this, I remember when
this first came out. I remember thinking that that could
end up being something she said. I had a summer
job at McDonald's and boy did Donald Trump ever cram
(21:49):
that down her throat.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Think about it. Two middle class kids, one a daughter
of Oakland, California who was raised by a working mother.
I had a summer job at McDonald's.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
The mindless pandering of Kamala Harris. Here she was again.
This was an interview with Brian Taff of Action News
six ABC. When she can't answer a question, she says
things like, I grew up in a neighborhood of folks
who were proud of their lawns.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Now, I grew up in a neighborhood of folks who
are very proud of their lawn. You know.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Back in twenty nineteen, Kamala Harris was running for president.
Just a few years ago, she was on CNN with
Jake Tapper and the question was, would you give medicare
to illegal aliens? We don't have enough for our own people.
Why would we give it. Why are we taking care
(22:50):
of people from other countries who come here illegally? We
didn't bring them here. Listen.
Speaker 7 (22:55):
The bill also says, quote, every individual who was a
resident of the United States is entitled to benefits for
healthcare services under this act. Not every individual who's a citizen,
but every individual who's a resident, So you support giving
universal healthcare Medicare for all to people who are in
this country illegally.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Let me just be very clear about this. I am
opposed to any policy that would deny in our country
any human being from access to public safety, public education,
or public health. Period.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Kamala Harris will raise your taxes, your personal taxes, your
corporate taxes, the death tax. And I'm going to tell
you something. When corporate tax rates are increased, you're taking
money away from private business to give it to the government.
And if you don't think that's going to hurt you,
(23:49):
they're going to raise prices, They're going to cut your bonuses.
That's going to happen. It's going to affect your stock
portfolio that's invested in these public companies.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
We've got to increase the corporate tax, right. We also
have to increase taxes for the top one percent, and
that part of that is going to be about repealing
that tax build that they just passed and also looking
at a state tax. Is it going to have to
go up?
Speaker 1 (24:13):
Remember when Nancy Pelosi said that Joe Biden should be
on Mount Rushmore. It was a matter of days after
that that she led the coup, the palace coup to
smother him and replace him. Everything they do is a scheme.
She did that so you wouldn't know they were already
(24:36):
They were already putting in motion the plan to smother
the old man, but by giving him this absurd level
of praise, you would never think that she was involved.
That was the plan. Well, Kamala Harris did the same thing.
This was at a rally in Wisconsin where she said, well,
here's you can listen to what she said.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
Joe's legacy of a acomplishment over his entire career and
over the past three and a half years is unmatched
in modern history. In one term, think about it, in
one term as president, he has already surpassed the legacy
of most presidents who served two terms in office.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
We've got clip after clip after clip of Kamala Harris
saying she would force millions of workers in the energy
sector to quote transition to new jobs. These people want
to own the economy. They want to tell people, we
don't want y'all doing those jobs over there that you've
been doing. We want to move you over here. But
those jobs didn't exist. Those jobs don't need to be there.
(25:45):
What is the solution for voters who have jobs and
interests in the fossil fuel.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
Industry, well for the workers in that industry, we have
to one we have to encourage that those industries do
better in terms of giving the workers an ability to
transition into the jobs of the future, such as renewable energy.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
The Houston Business Journal had a they make these little lists.
Listen lists are good for content, and they made this
list called the Houston Fast fifty, I thinks, and it
was companies that have seen explosive growth year over year
for two years in a row. And so I put
(26:33):
the word out on my Facebook page. By the way,
you might have noticed, they took my Facebook page down
and then now they put it back up, but they
won't let me in it, so I can't post it.
Even they do this about election time, you may remember,
so when the election's over, they'll let me back in there.
So that's why I haven't posted, and probably won't be
posting if they don't let me. So whatever, we've got
the show, that's what we hear about it. We've been
(26:54):
doing some interviews of leaders because I enjoy this. We're
gonna take a momentary break politics and talk to Mike
Johnson of Serverlesssolutions dot Com. Coming up
