Speaker 1 (00:03):
It's that time, time, time, time, luck and load. So
Michael Very Show is on the air.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
What we've got here is failure, Milky. Most of the
people covering that campaign were not particularly knowledgeable about the
past and didn't you know, may may not have even
known that. You know, America firsters pac Madison Square Garden
in nineteen thirty nine and a pro Nazi Germany rally.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
You said over the weekend referring to it, there's a
direct parallel to a big rally that happened in the
mid nineteen thirties, that Madison Square Garden.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
So I know what I saw, and I'll just leave
it at that.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Do you think Donald Trump is a fascist?

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (00:50):
I do, Yes, I do.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
The races, sex, is homophobic, xenophobic, islamophobic, you name it.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
The only garbage I see floating down there is just
supporters his his his demonizational scene is unconscionable, and it's
on American.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
You could put half of Trump's supporters into what I
call the basket of deplorable.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Look at the reading, look at the fear with feeding,
look at.

Speaker 6 (01:20):
The life we lead away with Bomas done before.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
You know, that's a little bit old.

Speaker 7 (01:30):
That chart, that charts a couple of months old.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
And if you want to really see.

Speaker 7 (01:34):
Something that said, take a look at what happened. We

(02:11):
bleed the same blood, we share the same home, and
we salute the same great American flag.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
We are one people, one family, and one glorious nation
under God.

Speaker 7 (02:30):
So Jews and Muslims and Catholics and Evangelicals and Mormons,
and they're all joining our cores and large numbers, larger
than anyone has ever seen in this country before, larger
than they've ever seen in any country.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
And the Republican Party has really become the party of inclusion.
And that's something very nice about that. Fred writes, I

(03:11):
was listening to your show this morning regarding these left
wing liberals and your description of them. We have one
here in the Woodlands directly behind us. They moved down
from Pennsylvania a few years ago. Previous neighbor, which we liked,
said that the buyers of the house, the current occupants,

(03:33):
that the woman was a little weird. Sure enough, last
week they put out a Harrison all red sign in
their corner lot, offsetting our Trump and Cruise signs. They
get to see our signs every time they pull in
their driveway. Well, this Monday they added a couple transgender
rainbow signs. One says unity for all, not division. We

(03:57):
think their high school kids gay. When I see the
lady walking her dog, she definitely appears to be in
a bad mood. I wish they'd moved back to Pennsylvania.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
No, you don't.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Pennsylvania is a swing state. Just outvote them here. You
do not want them back in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina,
New Arizona, Georgia. Keep them right where they are, where
you can keep an eye on them. Stay vigilant, keep

(04:29):
an eye on them. So here's what I've noticed happening
a lot of late, more and more people who have
a kid who's gay or transgender. Or is it about
to rain? We sound like an old couple, but Nandita
and I were on a walk and she pointed out

(04:52):
that we haven't had any rain in a while. And
I got the pondering on it, and I said, you're right,
we haven't had any rain in a while. Hmm, we
probably do for some rain. Yeah, So there you go.
It just got dark outside, as the reason I brought
it up. So I've noticed that as more and more

(05:16):
folks are having a kid, whether that's still at home
or off at college or in the workplace, that's coming
out as gay or transgender. They struggle with this and
their kid. I think what happens is this is going
to take a moment, So you know, let me get
the calls in, because I've given a lot of thought.

(05:36):
I've noticed how people start changing their politics over this issue,
and I think, very irrationally, I'll get to that moment
these folks have been holding. Let me get into the calls. Daisy,
you're up.

Speaker 6 (05:49):
Michael, Hi, Hi, Michael. I just wanted to make a
hilarious point. Why in the world would anyone want to
vote for what's his name rolling on his colon is
all red? Is that his name anyway? Because he looks
like a red angry bird or baby gerald on the

(06:10):
symptoms with that unibrow. Good gosh, guy, trim the unibrow.
And besides, he brings nothing to the table. He doesn't
have a resume of accomplishments. I haven't seen anything, and
I don't want people coming up trying to be voted
for just to give them a chance. I want someone
with experience. Show me what you've done for the community

(06:31):
for America, not just a certain group of people. Well, anyway,
that's enough to say that guy scares me.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
He should he should. What makes Colin all Wrong perfect
for democrats is he's not very smart and he's very controllable.
He is a face. He is an actor. You understand
when you watch a movie that Marky Mark is not

(07:00):
Marcus Latrelle. Okay, he didn't have to fall one thousand
feet and get shot to hell and spend the next
twenty years of his life recovering and in constant pain.
He played that role, you get that. But he played
the role well. And Marcus and his brother Morgan were
on not on screen, on site what do you call

(07:22):
it where they film? He was on set on location advising.
He came and stayed with Marcus. He learned Marcus's mannerisms,
He learned the way he talked to his fellow seals.
He learned what was going through his mind as he's
as he's trying to get away from the Taliban. He

(07:44):
played the part and played it very well. Colin Allrong
is playing the part. He's playing the part of a
moderate guy who's just like you who played ball. I mean,
he played ball ballplayers. Actually, no, no, there's there's some

(08:05):
really great I got.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
We all do.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Plenty of people that I respect on a personal level,
from Dan Pastorini to Indie Kalu, to Shane Leckler to
you know, JJ watt on on on through. But mostly
you got guys that are either average or common criminals.
There's plenty of those guys. Ray Rice beating a It's

(08:28):
just the nature of the beast. Well, he is very malleable.
And the people who use our government for the purposes,
for their purposes, they don't want strong personalities. I learned
this when I was They don't want strong they don't
want leadership. They run things, you stay out. That's why

(08:50):
they want a Joe Biden. That's why they want to
common air.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
A mass deportation.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Imagine what that would look like.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Try down under the leg.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Watch the sun.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Well, I am delighted to report Ramon that I may
die any day, but it won't be from a heart condition. Well,
that'd be weird if I did, now, Huh. I went
from my all my medical testing with my cardiologist Dan
Dukeman yesterday and he's out at Willibrook. So you might

(09:31):
have noticed that I was Fred Flintstone. My my, uh,
my wheels were turning. Before the show was over. I was, oh,
we got some rain. We got some rain. Call one
on nine and tell her she'd be so excited. Text
her to look outside. We needed some rain. Oh she
was worried about the rain. Her plants, her flowers, none

(09:51):
of it. Was very worried. She was watering heavily. Our
water bill was up anyway, So finish the show. Rush
out to Willibrook Cardiology. My dear friend Stan Dukeman. I
had a pet scan, I had coroated artery stuff. I

(10:15):
had all my blood panels done. I had something else.
And they threw in a massage. No, I don't know.
They did the I don't know what you call that
where they put the gel on you and then they
rub around on your chest and all that stuff. I
don't know if that costs extra or not. But that

(10:35):
was nice. Yeah, funny thing is. No, it was not
a pretty girl, it was, but it was a very
nice Pakistani man. He's not really Pakistani. He grew up
in Essex, England. His name is Harun. But but he
talked the entire time. And I have come to learn

(10:58):
that people listen to the show and they don't get
talk to me. I talk to them and they want
to offer their side of the conversation, so I try
to be patient about that. Plus I'm stuck on the
table with Gel all over me, and I'd like him
to figure out if I got anything. This is my
annual checkup. If there's something wrong, I want to know it.
So he's steady going at it, and he's talking about

(11:22):
the state of our country and his concerns over over
Biden and Kamala Harris and why why he you know,
having having traveled the world, having being Pakistanian and raised
in England and coming to this country, feels like he's
got a good perspective. And I agree it was. It

(11:46):
was interesting to hear his perspectives. And he was just
delighted because they don't give the name before I go
in there, because you never know what you're going to
deal with. And he was so excited when I came
bounding in that you know we were going to and
he said, I'll stop talking at any moment if you
want me to. And I said, you know what, you

(12:07):
say whatever you want, and I took a nap. No,
I didn't I didn't. I listened, because that's how you
get good show prop Haroun Cohn is his name, two
kids at Texas, A and M. His wife's a school teacher.
And well, you couldn't ask you could not ask for
a more pro America, America first American values than Haroun Khan.

(12:30):
He was fantastic. But anyway, so I do all that
and Dukeman brings me into his office afterwards, and you know,
I feel like he's a little emotionally invested in me.
We're very close friends, our wives are friends. And he said,
my man, this your report could not be better. Guess

(12:51):
how much calcium build up you have in your system
in your your arteries. I said zero. I did the okay,
he said that is correct, and oddly enough, he's a cardiologist,
he has more than zero because when he was in
med school, he played college football at Iowa State, and

(13:13):
when he was in med school he was having problems
with his wrist, so he injected some calcium into his
wrist to hopefully give himself some relief. And turns out
that was a bad thing because that calcium deposited and
plaque in your arteries is like, you know, clog in
the culvert in front of your house, and you don't
want that, so you know, you got to get the

(13:34):
roto router in there. And anyway, so he always laughs
at the fact that he's a cardiologist and I have
a better calcium number than he does. I will say this.
He's not a show sponsor, and people have asked, you know,
can you send me to your show sponsor. I wish
he was a show sponsor. I've asked him to be
a show sponsor for we're sold out. I don't need

(13:55):
the money, the company doesn't need the money. The reason
I want him to be a show sponsor is I
want to brag on him even more. I bragged on
my trainer, Michael Petru before he was a show sponsor,
But because he's a show sponsor, now there are slots
during the show that I get to brag on the

(14:15):
results I've gotten from him. How much better. Oddly enough,
I sleep because of resistance training or strength training. I
grew up believing that if you went into the weight
room you did it to get big muscles, and for
some reason it never worked for me. But and that
if you wanted to get healthy, you went for a run. Well,

(14:37):
that whole body of work has changed now running is
out the whole push for cardio that that's not the
thing anymore now, regardless your age, it is strength training.
So I have all my people talking, my trainer, my urologist,
my general practitioner, my cardiologist, all of them to make

(14:58):
sure that what I'm doing is as good for me
as it can be. And I'm not really a longevity guy.
I do follow this guy named Peter Atia. Many of
you know who that is. Sandy Peterson is when that
got me on too. Him at Tia. He does a lot,
he reviews a lot of research and shares his opinions
based on being a doctor, and so a lot of
it is longevity. I'm not trying to live to be

(15:19):
a hundred. I'm not even trying to live longer than
my natural life. I see the picture of them wheeling.
Is it Joe Biden or Jimmy Carter? They both looked
the same. I see him out there and they, you know,
they announced he's going to vote and he's so excited
to vote for Kamala. He looks like a corpse. That's

(15:40):
not a quality of life. You know, my mom was
ready to go. She was seventy nine, and I thought
my mom would live to be one hundred. I really
did on her side of the family, living to be
well into your nineties. But she had an atrophy, sorry dystrophe. Uh,

(16:01):
Louke Gerrig's disease is what it is. But it was
an advanced it's a it's a there's lots of what
they call lou Gerrig's disease. And her lungs just wouldn't
fill up. And it had it had put her into
this bad situation for a long period of time. So
so when she came home and went into hospice, she
had the best doctors. Duke when was her was her
heart doctor Tim Connolly, a phenomenal lung doctor. Uh Jim

(16:24):
months my doctor would go by and check on her.
She had the best medical carryer you could get. But
it was only going to get worse. It was just
a question of how long it was going to be.
And she was ready. And and so I don't I
don't try to live. I don't want to live an
unnaturally long period of time. I just want a high
quality of life while I'm living. And so you know,
it doesn't mean I don't drink or smoke, cigars or

(16:48):
you know, go on too little sleep too often. But
I do try to maximize, you know, with with what
I do. How I you know, this this bag of
bones that I drag around behind me. And so anyway,
I have wanted Dutman to be a sponsor, but it
doesn't make sense because yesterday he saw forty five patients.
Because he's leaving today. I got to brag on my cardiologists.

(17:08):
And if you want to cardiologist, send me an email.
Connect you. He's leaving today to be honored by Iowa
State as one of their outstanding alumni. And I'm proud
of my buddy Stan Dutman. He played football therea with
the meds schools.

Speaker 7 (17:19):
I saw weapons ban, but it's only later in your
political career did you change your position wise the.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Michael Berry shall become friends with school shooters. Did you
know Willy had shown up at the Beyonce event? I
had no idea. It got overlooked. Tells you a lot
about the media, doesn't it. You know people at this point,

(17:49):
you know, when Willie came out big for Bato, did
a concert for him, people were angry and they would
email me and I would respond and say sometimes I
get a little snappy on my emails. I shouldn't do
that ramon sometimes. Huh, yeah, I know you're not surprised.

(18:11):
Oh we got a good rain to come. Oh yeah, yeah,
this one's a good one. Not a flood rain, just
a good solid rain. Yeah, it's yeah, it's very cleansing,
very cleansing. My wife and I go for a walk
if it's in the morning. When we go, the sprinklers

(18:31):
come on, and I always remark that I love the
sound of sprinklers. People's sprinklers coming on. It feels like,
you know, the grass is that the earth is being fed.
It's you know, it's it's drinking up, it's it's cleaning
things off, it's getting ready for the day. I love
morning dew. I think it's a it's a it's a
glorious thing. Scott, you're on the Michael Berry Show. Go ahead, my.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Man, Michael, I am on. Leave down here and a
cope of County Chase in ballots for Donald Trump, and
I wanted to share some information I was given. If
President Trump somehow loses this election, it won't be because
America's gone woke. Although that's a worry. It won't be

(19:17):
because of fraud. We know there will be some, but
it will be the sole blame going to the Michael
Berry Show audience and the other big conservative audiences. Christians
and gun owners, just those two groups. The numbers are shocking.
You probably have it precisely, but something like half. I

(19:40):
think gun owners might be more than half don't vote.
If just those two groups voted in proper numbers, it
would be fifty state landslides. I mean, maybe not California,
but there's no amount of fraud that could overcome that.
I mean, and gun owners.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
For goodness sake, Well, I'm gonna tell you something else.
Let's take the last one. First, Black Christians vote in
much higher rates than white Christians do. And that is
because black churches talk about politics. Because most white pastors,
not all, but most are woosies. And that's not the

(20:23):
word I want to use. Most white pastors are, in
my opinion, chickens. They will they don't hesitate to tell
you why you should tie, and why they deserve to
take a trip the vacation this summer, and how hard
they work, and how much you should give to the
building fund, and how much money you should give, and

(20:44):
how much money you should give and how much money
you should give. But when it comes to challenging people
to create a governing system that provides the freedom to
worship and the values to protect children, most of them

(21:06):
are chicken blanks, chicken crap. And I don't say that.
I know that makes people angry at me, but it's true.
To their credit, the black pastors will not only talk
about politics, they will tell their congregation how to vote,

(21:29):
and then from there they will do a roll to
the polls. This year they called it Souls to the Polls.
The massive effort turned out it was a failure this year.
Turns out it was a huge failure this year because
black voters aren't playing along. But black pastors will do

(21:49):
that now. On the gun owners. By the way, if
you are a hunter, I believe Tuesday is opening day,
so get in. Early voting ends this Friday, so get
your early voting done. Get it done, you know, playing shotgun.
Willie reminded me Willie Nelson being at the Common event

(22:12):
and nobody, nobody was even talking about it. People know
Willie's politics are whack. They just know his politics are whack,
and they don't care anymore because he has no influence anymore.
People aren't taking Willie's endorsement. They might smoke his marijuana,
but they're not gonna take his political endorsement. Oh we
got Trunk and Tom on the line.

Speaker 8 (22:34):
How Michaele was Tom again? I love country music word anything.
I love Garth Brooks and James Aldean and Conway Tweet
and Merle Dukes of Hazard, Chris Stofferson. But Michael, there's
a scandal going on in the world of country music.
Did you know that Willie Nelson is a Democrat? I
always know he smoked weed. But if that's outlaw country,

(22:55):
that's what they do, I expect nothing less. But Michael,
do you think he votes Democrat? Because because he's on
P Diddy's videos that that's the only thing. I can't
even imagine that would make him vote that way. I mean,
maybe he was that one of those P Diddy of
Super Bowl parties with Leonardo de Cappuccino and Justin Bieber
and he got caught up in some kind of crazy

(23:17):
ninety year old, crazy ass kink weird thing. I don't know,
and they ain't no got tapes of him like peeing
on a bull up dollar or something. Even weirder. But hey,
make sure you vote Trump and vote for Senator Cruz,
and vote Republicans up and down the whole asle of
your ballot and cancel that crazy kinky old ash Willie Nelson,

(23:38):
stupid Democrat vote. Hey, Michael, Hey, Michael, Hey, what's the
absolute worst thing you want to hear after making out
with Willie Nelson. I'm not Willie Nelson. Hey, go vote,
get out there and vote, get your vote on. Hello, Michael, Hello, Hello.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
What do you think that Tom Country, Michael Berry, We
think sweet tea. We don't think socialists who days.

Speaker 8 (24:25):
For you.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Jason writes Zora, I've been listening to your discussion about churches.
I'm a member of First Baptists, and I was pleasantly
surprised that two Sundays ago, Pastor Gregmott encouraged the congregation
to vote for members of the congregation who were running
for office, which are Ted Cruz and Mike Knox. Mike

(24:49):
Knox running for sheriff. Although not near what the black
churches do, but more than I've seen non black churches
do in a very long time. That is absolutely true.
Ronda writes el Desino. I agree with you that black
pastors seem to be more vocal about politics than white pastors.

(25:14):
I was very sad when doctor ed Young retired. I
feel he was a great voice for Christians to bring
increased awareness about the key topics that should influence vote,
influence voter's decisions in the current elections. I agree, I
agree with you one, she continues, while Ben Young is

(25:35):
trying in a milder way. And I did enjoy hearing
from Trey Goudy last Sunday. I feel many Christians are
just starting to wake up and get the courage to
stand up and not just go alone, to get along.
Thanks to Trump for giving a lot of us the
inner strength to say what we all already know. None
of these crazy, immoral, unethical, downright blatantly illegal activities make
any sense. Thanks for listening, Ronda. Well, you know, if

(26:06):
you believe what the Bible says, the direction no commandment
is very clear. Evangelizing is very clear. That That's That's
been a conversation discussion I've had many over many years

(26:27):
with friends of mine who are Catholic, is that the
lack of evangelizing is troubling to me personally, and the
way that conversation goes is. Usually the person is offended
because somehow I'm insulting Catholics. No, I'm going to tell
you what I believe. And then we turn to how
much real estate the Catholic Church owns and how many

(26:51):
Catholics there are in the world, and a lot of
Muslims in the world too. Are you what is what
is your point there? My look, If you feel a
sense of conviction from my words, that's on you. I'm
not in any way criticizing you. I'm telling you what
my belief is, and my belief is that the Bible

(27:15):
is very clear about evangelizing. I also believe Catholics don't evangelize.
You don't need to email me if somehow, someway you're
part of a Catholic group or you happen to be
Catholic and evangelize. I have watched a number of Catholics
lead the Catholic Church over this issue. To me, the

(27:37):
Bible is not about rituals. It is not about church membership.
It's not about a place you gather and what that
says about you. It's not about how pretty that place
is or how rich the people are who go there.
It's not about that's the identity, identity you were born into.

(27:57):
You know, Hindus and Jews are distrustful of converts. Many
of them will tell you that's not true, but it is.
They view Hinduism and Judaism, and really, I have many
friends who are Jewish who are not practicing. They don't
keep Kosher, they don't on the high Holy days go

(28:20):
to temple, but they view being Jewish as their identity.
And I think there's a lot wrapped up in that,
particularly in the modern era. Hermanwoke wrote a book called
This Is My God, and he wrote it in I
don't know, maybe the early fifties, could have even be
in as late as a sixties, and he wrote it
for young Jews in America to give them a sense

(28:44):
of their identity and their history and their legacy and
a desire to preserve Jewishness or Jewry as it's called
an academia. And his concern was that Jews were marrying
outside the faith and that Jewishness would would die off,

(29:09):
and it was a kind of a call to preserve Jewishness. Hindus, likewise,
historically in India would only marry, not only within the faith,
which even calling Hinduism of faith is odd for me
in the in the sense that we use faith. It

(29:30):
is an identity, and it's an identity that was so
powerful that there was a sub identity within that identity
of Brahmin or uh depending on where you were. Sick
Ism is an offshoot of Hinduism, and again it is

(29:52):
an identity as much as anything of faith. All back
to American evangelicals. American evangelicals were for a long time
the heart and soul of Republican voters. They were perhaps
more than any other group, reliable, outspoken, active Republican voters.

(30:18):
The infiltration of the evangelical church in America by a
cadre a really a diverse group of grifters. And you
can see the grifters.

Speaker 7 (30:35):
This is the.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
Health and wealth crowd. This is the prosperity doctrine. Pastors,
the pastors who preach that you can get rich in
this church. But oddly enough send it to me the pastor.
I find that I find that at a minimum unbiblical.

(31:00):
These are also the pastors. These are also the preachers, televangelists,
every one of them, because that's how you achieve scale,
and scale is how you achieve maximum profitability, and let's
be clear, profitability is what they're seeking. As these grifters
began the televangelism approach, they gave up the pastoring. In fact,

(31:26):
many of them no longer call themselves a pastor, nor
do they take on the role of pastoring ministering to
the flock. They're just on TV every Sunday. The death
of the church, in that sense, is what we're suffering
right now. If the church would engage its members and

(31:50):
explain to a naive group of people that the devil
is among us and that we need to show up
a vote, this election would be over before. You wouldn't
even need to have Election Day early voting, and by
the way, early voting today through Friday. Please don't wait.
I voted yesterday, Ramon, thank you for asking. I voted yesterday,

(32:12):
is what I voted. Republican all the way down, and
I voted against the bonds. Every one of them is
a tax increase, and they're wasting money. They don't need
more money. They need to mind, so they need to
lay some people off and spend their money more wise.
But I voted Republican all the way down.
